Introducing

Full Name:
Ashton Reginald Dumont

Nickname:
Ash, Reggie

Age:
"Twenty four years young."

Birth Date:
April 1st

Sexuality:
Sexuality is a difficult thing for him to come around too, his parents were extremely conservative and he wasn't allowed to date anyone, and was mainly afraid to because his parents kept trying to set him up with women they found suitable, but he never took the bait. He believes, now being away from his parents for a while, that he is Pansexual [Seeing past gender, and seeing the person for who they are]. but he's still working out his own emotional complications.

Role:
The Dream Walker:
What the Dream Walker's job is simply to amaze. What happens first is usually Ash will start off by putting someone into a sleep-like trance; from there, he can sit down in the chair next to them and fall into a trance himself, and walk into the other person's dreams. From there, he can just simply walk the person through their own subconscious, or he is able to teach others how to manipulate their dreams.

The Talent

Image
Image

Power:
Ashton can enter and manipulate the dreams of himself and others. This includes: modifying, suppressing, fabricating, influencing, manifesting, sensing, and observing dreams as well as nightmares, and daydreams. Sometimes Ashton can even unlock someone's hidden powers, desires, or subconscious fears. He can produce and modify dreams, bestow nightmares or extreme lucid dreaming, entrap people in REM, and promote spiritual/emotional healing within dreams.

In some cases, Ashton's power extends to the real world, such as wounds inflicted on a sleeping victim and even pulling someone from the waking world into the dream world.

Strengths:
Ashton is extremely intuitive, perceptive, and funny. Although, he doesn't always come across that way all the time. Sometimes his inner child is released and he simply comes across like an adorable dope.
He is really good at puzzle games -- Jenga, Chess, Checkers, pool. He can think quick on his feet, when necessary.
He loves to play his guitar and the drums.
Ashton normally uses his dark blue pendulum to put his customers into a trance, it helps him focus his energies where they need to be as well.
Meditation processes help him recollect himself.
An extremely great flow artist [a type of dancer, he focuses on King Tut", Liquid and
Weaknesses and Flaws:
Ashton can be childish, and often is daydreaming. He finds reality quite boring, which causes him to get lazy quickly. Since he is able to walk between the dream world and the real world, he finds it easier to just sleep, but this leads to delusions. If he sleeps over twelve hours and wakes up, he finds it hard to get a grip on the real world and is extremely susceptible to dark, negative energies following him back from the dream realm.
On a lighter note, Ashton is not the greatest cook, he tends to burn things a lot.

Ashton is extremely childish and insecure about things, which causes him to act out in ways that might not make sense to the naked eye. For Ashton, the things that go bump under the bed are more real than ever. He fears things that might be stronger than him and not being able to control his astrial projections.
Ashton loves to write poetry and short stories, but he is always fearful of critics, so he hides it to himself.
He also has a terrible fear of spiders, they really freak him out. But he would never let anyone know that either.

In-Depth

Special Markings:
Ashton doesn't have any markings, piercings, or tattoos.

Description:
Ashton is pretty simple, he likes flannel shirts, a grey beanie and jeans. Ashton has bright green eyes, and dark brown hair. Ashton doesn't really "Dress to Impress", he just dresses in whatever he feels comfortable with. He does have a pair of glasses, but normally he prefers contacts.
Height: Just reaching around six foot
Weight 140, mostly leg and arm muscle from long boarding, swimming and gymnastics.

Personality:
At heart, Ashton is a true child: This includes the spastic, awkward comments, and just wanting to make someone laugh. His curiosity for the world never ceases and conversation with him, is almost like conversation with a cartoon character. On stage, he is lively and downright silly. Ashton can become extremely animated, which is great on stage and he is a true story teller. He can captivate an audience in one single line. He's a one man show, sound effects and everything.

Off stage, it's a little different though, Ashton likes his alone time, for sleep mostly. Ashton enjoys being able to travel to a different realm with ease, it's almost like his escape route, like he's hiding from something. If he's not sleeping, or preforming, he can be found hanging around in his room, a beer in hand and a rolled up J in the other.[This, quite coincidentally, is how he obtained the nickname "Reggie".]

Ashton is really a quirky mix of emotions, mostly because when he was younger he was diagnosed with a disease called "Narcolepsy", where if he became over stimulated he would instantly just fall asleep, sometimes for weeks, sometimes months. When he was 15 he slept all through the school year. Little did his parents know that he wasn't just sleeping...but walking in another world, unable to find his way back to his own physical body. Getting lost for hours, which translated into months in his physical body. Ash couldn't control his power, so every time his emotions got out of whack or overwhelmed, he would simply just pass out and escape. But, this soon became a fear for Ashton, because he had no perception of time in the dream world, and was unaware of how much time was passing. He soon learned how to control his emotions completely by age 16 and he found comfort in smoking because he could just be relaxed while awake. He tried sports for a while, and was good at them, but it made him tired, and his coaches got upset at him for 'not trying'.

Reggie found the Theater when him and his buddies were out for a night of drinking: basically bar hopping. He was so drunk he got up on stage and began captivating the audience with a vibrant introduction to his talent. He brought a guest up on stage and began putting them into a hypnosis state. He them sat down next to her and began dream walking beside her. Five minutes later they both came back, first Reggie, then the woman awoke. She was amazed, and he asked her, with a smirk, what she had seen. She told a beautiful story about how she had a memory of her Grandmother's old house when she was little, and she thanked him for bringing that memory back to her.

The Theater hired him soon after he turned a young and fresh 18 years old, and he stuck with it ever since because he found comfort in learning and controlling his power better, plus he loved the attention on stage. Now that he's older, he knows a lot more on controlling his power and keeping safe while he walks between realms.

The Past Defines Us

Image

History:
Ashton was born to a Christian family, on a late April night, eleven thirty pm. April Fool's to be exact. His parents were Wendy Dumont, and Angel Dumont. Ash was a great kid, quiet and cooperative. When he was younger, he found himself staying by his parents, becoming extremely connected with his mother. As explained in his personality, at a very young age Ash was diagnosed with, what they believed to be, Narcolepsy. Since his parents were both against the idea of medication, they home schooled him -- not wanting him to be bullied for his "disability". Ash struggled a long time with his Gift, unsure of how to control or even harness it. It wasn't until he turned ten was he able to figure out how to lucid dream and be able to be safe while doing so. He eventually was fed into the school system when he was a seventh grader, due to his constant complaining about not feeling normal like the other kids in the neighborhood. All through high school, Ash was a good student, he got A's and he made a few good friends. He even joined the Improv club, because being someone else on stage was easier than himself.

All his life, Ash's parents were extremely conservative, and talked little about their emotions, problems, and they educated Ash poorly on relationships/friendships with others. Ash's parents also failed to explain to him how to decipher his feelings for girls in high school; the only thing they said was to not have sex before marriage. He didn't understand how to pick apart his emotions, and he was afraid to be attracted to others because he never got advice on how to handle his emotions. Plus, growing up his parents were never close or huggy... In fact, he doesn't even know to this day if they are still happy together. This, in the end, made Ash terrified to start anything with anyone, because he didn't know a lot of the social cues. He finds conversation hard to follow and awkward to continue when the ball is tossed in his own court, some subjects are worse than others.

So begins...

Date: Tuesday 21st January, 2014
Time: 4.00pm
Weather: Mostly cloudy with a high of 10°C (50°F) and a low of 3°C (37°F)

Before the sun sets Amaroff Theatre usually sits quietly, entertaining the occasional tourist who wonders inside or the odd collection of regular customers. However the day has been a moderately busy one despite the early hour. A number of clients have passed through in need of the theatre's particular offering of skills and a bridal party has decided to make Amaroff the first stop on the beginning of their long night. (Although it's very possible they thought that the theatre was a strip club). Still, it promises to be a lively night for the Theatre.

Dee stretched her arms above her head, pulling herself up in a catlike stretch as she waited for her next client to enter the room. Her ‘office’, as she liked to call it, wasn’t large. A round table sat between her comfortable cushioned chair and the two empty chairs waiting to be filled. A modest bookcase and mirror lined one wall, the other was filled with a large world map that was riddled with pin marks. There were no crystal balls or tarot cards here, nothing that people usually associated with psychics. Not that that was exactly what Dee was, it was just the simplest term for people to understand. Dee’s power was called Clairvoyance, the ability to gain direct information from something through other means. It came in useful when searching for missing items or people, which was what most of her clients came to her for.

A knock on her door brought Dee back to the present. Her head glanced up to watch as an overweight, middle-aged woman shuffled into the room, wearing that guilty look that many wore when they first visited Amaroff. Most people were embarrassed to admit that they were putting their trust into what many believed were frauds. Not that Dee cared. She knew what she did was real and she got paid for it. Screw what everyone else thought.

The woman took a seat, perched on the end, and held her bag tightly in her hands.
“How can I help?” Dee started, giving the woman a reassuring smile. The woman gulped, bit her lip and clenched her hands, but didn’t answer. Dee, already impatient with the woman, had to plaster her smile on her face to keep from scowling. “Are you looking for someone?”
The woman took a deep breath and nodded, before reaching into her handbag and bringing out a small golden ring.
“My husband.” She said, offering Dee the ring. “Will you need this?”
Dee nodded and took the ring, “A name and a photo of him would help too.” Dee suggested. The woman nodded quickly and dug out her purse from her handbag. From the purse she slid out a family portrait. It showed the woman, some years younger and skinnier, with three young children standing between her and a man of average height and build who had the most hideous moustache.
“His name is Terrance. Terrance Donald.” The woman, Mrs Donald assumedly, said. “He’s 57, has problems with his knees and weighs...”
“Thanks.” Dee said, cutting her off, “That’s all I need.”

Dee focused on the photograph for a moment and then closed her eyes, bringing up the man’s image in her mind’s eye. Mentally she repeated his name and at the same time her hand closed over the ring. First came smell; There was a faint whiff of body odour, mingled with cheap aftershave. Beyond that was the undeniable smell of the ocean. Sight and sound seemed to come at the same time, waves washing up on the beach nearby and the soft snores of Terrance Donald, appeared in sync with the sight of the queen sized hotel bed, complete with the portly man himself and a young, half-naked woman who looked barely older than Dee. She found herself watching from above, as if she were hovering somewhere near the ceiling fan. It only took a second to see what was happening and even less for Dee to sense exactly where he was.

Dee opened her eyes to find the woman leaning anxiously forward. She was obviously desperate to find her husband.
“Well..?” She asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Dee sighed; she hated telling people things they didn't want to hear.
“I found him.” Dee replied, pushing herself to her feet and stepping in front of her large map. She took a small pin from the side and stuck it through Terrance Donald’s location. “You’re husband is currently sleeping in Cabin 5 at The Island Resort, Suva, Fiji.” Dee turned to find the woman’s face a curious mask of shock and anger,
“What is he doing there?” The woman asked, expecting Dee to give her all the answers.
“Well, judging by the half-naked girl sleeping beside him, I’d say not being faithful.” Dee replied. She almost immediately regretted her choice of words as the woman’s face turned an unfaltering, maroon shade.
“Do you think this is some kind of joke?” She demanded, lumbering to her feet, “I haven’t seen Terr in weeks. For all I know he’s dead somewhere in a ditch. And you stand there and tell me he’s in Fiji!”
“Believe me. If he was dead, I would have seen it.” Dee replied, struggling to keep her patience with the woman. She’d seen this kind of thing a lot, when people weren't happy with the answers that Dee gave. Not everyone liked hearing that their partner of so many years was alive and well with another man or woman. Many people found it easier to get angry at Dee rather than accept what she’d seen. The woman stormed out. Dee rolled her eyes, at least she’d paid before the reading.

Dee slouched out of her office, letting the door swing shut behind her. Honestly, some clients never appreciated how much energy went into finding their wayward husbands. Dee was exhausted and in need of a drink. So what if it was only four in the afternoon, somewhere in the world it was night time. She made her way into the main stage area where Jonny was currently entertaining an audience with his illusionary magic. Dee couldn't help but notice that the majority of the small audience was female. Shaking her head she wondered behind the bar and grabbed a beer before plopping herself on a bar stool. She spun around so that she could watch as Jonny closed up his show.

Rolling over on his bed, he checks the time, 4 pm? Seriously?

"I knew I had some to drink, but shit..." Shaking his head, he rolls up into a sitting position and swings his legs over the side, his bare feet gently gliding across the surface of a dark blue carpet. He stands up slowly and walks over to the mini fridge underneath the raised futon and grabs a Mountain Dew. Grabbing a remote he turns on his sound system, playing the song Feel the Love by Rudimental [ft John Newman]. He began to sway back and forth to the beat as he took another sip of his mountain dew and then he began to pick out his outfit for the day. A slim fitted purple button down shirt and a pair of jeans with a black belt. The song gets progressively more upbeat and bouncy and he begins to sing along and hop as he slides into his jeans and throws on his shirt.

"You know I said it's true!" He spins around and finds himself facing the mirror and he grabs his comb, "I can feel the LOOOVE CAN YOU FEEL IT TOOO!!!??" He begins combing his hair, then using the comb as a microphone -- he isn't a bad singer, so at least it's not gut wrenchingly awful, "I can feel ahhhh! I can feel it ahhhh!!"

He finishes up and then takes his toothbrush and begins to brush his teeth, still hopping all the same, spitting into a cup, he rinses his mouth out with a splash of water and spits back into the cup. For a moment, he stops, taking the last sip of his mountain dew and then crushing the can and tossing it into the trash. Clicking off the music, he bounces out of his room, putting his phone into his back pocket. He never really locked his door, he trusted people not to steal from him and if anyone did, they'd soon be brought to justice anyway.

Ash bounces down the hallway, the song ringing in his head and he sings it as he continues towards the main floor. He had about two hours to kill and it was happy hour.

Diana gave Hannah a lazy wave in reply as she joined Dee at the bar, although Dee made sure to keep her eyes on Jonny. Dee could only shake her head in frustration at Jonny and make silent promises to get revenge the moment he appeared. It was hardly the first time he'd pulled a stunt like that. Dee just had to hope that the audience wouldn't recognise her as the 'Queen of Rabbits'. No doubt if they did they would start to pepper her with questions of how the 'magic trick' worked. The last thing Dee wanted was to be pestered by customers, not after being yelled at by her last client.

"If there's one thing you can say about Jonny, it's that he knows how to entertain a crowd." Hannah Masters, the theatre's fortune teller and one of Dee's friends, spoke from the other side of the bar. Dee shifted in her seat so she could watch Hannah with one eye and the crowd with the other. Dee completely agreed with Hannah, Jonny could captivate the harshest critics and have any audience on their feet. Most of the time he didn't even need to use his illusions too.
"And you know, I think the whole bunny thing should be your next Halloween costume. We can do a whole Alice in Wonderland motif, you could be the white rabbit." Hannah added.
Dee snorted, shaking her head as she laughed. "Well, if I'm dressed up as the white rabbit then we can put Jonny in a dress and call him Alice. I'd love to see him pick up girls with a bow on his head." Although knowing Jonny he would still manage it somehow. The guy had moves. "And what could we dress you up as?" Dee continued, turning in her seat to give Hannah a playful smile, "I could always ask Jonny to come and make an illusion of you in some outfit. We could try... " Dee bit her lip as she tried to think of a ridiculous custom for Hannah. "How about... the Cheshire Cat? He always seems to know things before they happen." Of course, Dee hadn't actually watched Alice in Wonderland since she was a kid. She was struggling to remember what was what in the story.

As Dee tried to bring up forgotten memories of the Disney cartoon, she scanned the room. Lynnette and Gideon were both at work, serving various customers. No doubt as the bridal party got more raucous the work would pick up slightly. Dee was sure that it would pick up relatively quickly once the sun set outside, which was fine for Dee. Most of her clients visited during the day. Her night time clientèle was usually made up of drunken idiots trying to find their car keys.

Out of the corner of her eye Dee spotted Ash entering the main stage area. He looked as if he were half walking, half dancing to a song only he could hear. No doubt he had been drawn out of his room by the promise of cheap alcohol. Happy hour was a truly wonderful time of day, Diana was sure it would draw a few more employees out from their rooms before it ended. Dee held up her beer and waved her arm slightly to catch Ash's attention. She hoped that either the alcohol or her friendly face would draw him over. "Ash can be the mad hatter." Dee added to Hannah, picturing the young man dressed as the kooky character.

Hannah had to laugh. The thought of Jonny Maxis gallivanting around in a dress with a bow secured on his head was hilarious. He was charming though so the British woman was sure he'd be able to snag someone even in the ridiculous getup. Adding in that people liked to get smashed on Halloween, she as sure Jonny could catch someone's eye.

"And what could we dress you up as?" Dee's teasing tone resulting in Hannah giving her a suspicious look. She knew that if given permission, Jonny would probably jump at the opportunity to create illusions of any of the women who worked in the Theater. If he could he'd probably have his own army of scantly clad women surrounding him day and night. Luckily, the man could get actual women for company and they didn't have to usual deal with copies.

At the mention of the Chesire Cat, Hannah had to wince. "As cute as that would probably be, at the moment I want nothing to do with cats of any form." Poor Nora's sad life was still fresh in her mind. "Suggest it in a week and I should agree wholeheartedly." It would giver her a chance to forget about the immense loneliness that the future women had radiated.

The two lapsed into a comfortable silence. There were others hustling about the theater, some in plain side while others stayed behind the scene. Despite what some may think, quite a bit of effort and hard work were put into the Amaroff Theater so that everything could run smoothly.

"Ash can be the mad hatter." The suggestion brought Hannah back to her companion. Her brown eyes scanned for the man before they finally caught sight of the rambunctious dream walker.

"More like the Dormouse." She retaliated in a joke. "The two have a lot in common. Both sleep way more than they should and the minute they wake up they're a hyperactive force to be reckoned with." It was true, but Ash the image Hannah conjured in her mind of the older mail in a coat with tails and large mouse ears caused her mouth to turn in a large grin.

Hannah's eyes lost focus as a vision popped into her head. It was only for a second, but they often left the girl with a faroff look on her face. Her attention turned towards one of the theater's usual customers. She was a slender women who wore too much makeup and drank more than she should. "She's going down and getting wet. And literally five seconds after Hannah said it, the woman tripped over a chair leg and landed on her hands and knees on the floor. One of her arms had jarred the table next to her and two of the glass toppled over, spilling the contents over the edge and onto the women on the ground. Luckily, nothing broke. Glass shards and drunks never mixed well.

One of the patrons from the table whose drinks she had split over, helped the staggering women to her feet. She simply laughed the fall off and headed for the loo to clean herself off. At least, that's what Hannah hoped she'd do. The last thing and of the theater employees wanted was the find someone passed out on of the the lavatory floors.

As he entered the room, he was humming the song pretty loud now. Ash bounced his head left, then bounced his head to the right as he walked into the main attraction area. The smell of cheap alcohol stung his nose as he slips through the mid-afternoon crowd.

As his head bounced over to his left again, he saw Dee and Hannah out of the corner of his eye, "LADDAAYYYS!"

His quirky smile popped over his face as he smoothly glided across the floor, passing by a woman who had just toppled over herself. Instead of doing a gentleman act, Ash simply gave a dark chuckle and with a slide to the left, he slid directly out of her way; walking for Ashton was like a dance, and he liked his dances noticeable, and quirky.

As he swung over to the girls, he threw his arms around them, "So ladies, What'cha talkin about? I bet it's boys...I bet..It's me!" his british accent driving in thick, "So, you guys are my friends right? Friends listen to each other. I gotta problem..." He waits for a split second for a small reaction, but is much too active to stop, "It's fuckin' happy hour an' I haven't got a drink. Do ya see this dilemma I'm havin??"

As he turns around, he slaps his hands down on the counter and comes face to face with Lynette, she looked mighty pleased to be there, "Hey Net, how's it goin? I hope these people aren't..." He inched in closer, eyes darting, "Boring you."

His arms fell off Diana's and Hannah's shoulders and he sat down on a booth stool and swung to face the girls.

"So, whats on the agenda for tonight, any special things coming up I should be aware of?" His right eyebrow raises at both of them.

"And cut!" Ana yelled over the music as the dance routine came to a halt and everyone erupted into cheer. It was the first time they got through the dance without having to stop and correct someone's stance or make sure that everyone was in their places. Even Amara had been able to hold her own in the center without Feliciana having to give some advice or critique. Since their last stop, Feliciana danced with them for the first four times and eased her way out of the routine by the third time.

And she couldn't have been prouder.

"Aaaaahhh!!" Feliciana exclaimed excitedly, bouncing on the tips of her toes and giving an erratic clap that had some of her fellow dancers either shaking their heads or chuckling in amusement. "You guys are gonna be so awesome!" One of the female dancers placed a hand on her hip.

"Are we not amazing any other day?" That response caused a few dancers to play along, expressions of insult and maybe even hurt on their faces. Feliciana gaped in surprise that anyone could have misinterpreted what she said and her hands flew to her mouth as she gasped. Had she paid enough attention, she would have heard someone else giggle under their breath.

"No!" The other girl's eyebrow raised and Feliciana hurried to fix it. "What...I mean...guys, you know you're awesome...I-I...I just..." Finally, one of them couldn't take her pleading tone and began laughing outrightly at Feliciana. She pouted as the others laughed as well. "Oh my God, you guys suck! I can't believe - ugh!!" She really tried to keep on an angry façade, but even Feliciana couldn't hide the smile threatening to burst forth and she giggled a little herself.

God, she loved these guys!

"If you guys are done making fun of me, you can chill out for the next two and a half hours. You don't go on until eight, but I want you all backstage thirty minutes before to stretch. I'll meet you guys then," Feliciana instructed, returned her earphones to their perch on her shoulders, grabbed her messenger bag, and headed towards out of the studio.

After a quick detour to her room to grab her favorite Naked brand smoothie from the mini fridge near her window, Feliciana lightly skipped down the stairs to the theater. Her eyes fell on the small crowd - it was small compared to the bigger ones she was used to at night - that was gathered there, all eyes on the stage. She then saw Lynette before she noticed that the others were near the bar. She waved happily with a wide grin on her face.

"Hey, guys! What's up?" Feliciana chose, instead of heading straight for the bar, one of the empty tables. It gave her enough room to pull her laptop out of her bag and start typing the essay she had been procrastinating about. If only she didn't feel like procrastinating right now...

Jonny pushed himself to his feet, weary of the sounds of people moving backstage. The last thing he needed was for someone to wonder through the stage area and find him resting, he had a reputation to maintain after all. He straightened his outfit, his performing suit, before collecting his props. He made his way through the backstage corridors, past the group of girls who had just come from dancing (he made sure to slow down and give each of them a separate greeting) and into the props room. The room wasn't particularly large and it was filled to the brim with anything and everything one might need for a show. He bypassed the acting and dancing costumes, skirted the fake weapons and finally came to a stop beside the portion of the room that held his items. Well, technically they weren't his, but they were props that he used so he considered them as good as his property. He replaced what he had used for his show in their specific places and then left, pulling the door shut behind him.

He made his way back towards the stage, his way taking him back through the group of dancers (who he made sure to greet again), and out through the side entrance to backstage. Of course he heard the commotion going on backstage, but as it wasn't his problem he left it to the crew. No, his focus for the next few hours was to enjoy Happy Hour and make the most of the bridal party.

Jonny stepped into the public area, pausing by the door to quickly scan the room. He could see the group of young women in the hens do, they were gathered around a table taking shots. Other patrons were dispersed around the bar and sitting in booths. Also around the bar was a group of the theatre's employees. He grinned and decided that the bridal party could wait, his friends came first. He set off in the direction of the bar, only to be waylaid by a member of his audience.
"You're the magician aren't you. The Great Jimmy, right?"
"The Great Jonny." Jonny corrected, vaguely insulted at the girl getting his name wrong, but not enough to be put off talking to her. She only giggled and waved her hand at the mistake. With a sixth sense that rivalled Diana's or Hannahs, Jonny knew that this girl wanted to get in his pants.
"It was real good. Your magic, I mean. How'd ya do it?" The girl slurred her sentence, betraying just how drunk she was. Jonny sighed, even he had his limits and a girl too wasted to speak properly was one of them.
"Yeah, thanks." He replied, already trying to side step around her. She, however, was having none of that. Determined, the girl grabbed onto his arm and did her best to give him a flirtatious smile.
"I'd love to see som'more magic. Y'know, in private." She said, ending in what she obviously meant to be a seductive whisper. More put off than turned on Jonny did the first thing that came to his mind and created the illusion of a giant tarantula spider crawling over his shoulder. The girl took one look at the eight-legged beast, gave a shriek and was gone before Jonny could say another word.

With a grin stretched across his face Jonny waved away the illusion and continued towards his friends.
"Feliciana." He greeted the dancer as he passed her table, giving her a friendly nod. Then he made his way up to the others, slinging an arm across Dee's shoulders as he joined the three workers at the bar.
"You make a wonderful bunny, Dee." He teased, planting a kiss on her cheek, "Any time you want to be my assistant you're more than welcome." Before Dee could push him away he removed his arm and made his way around to the other side of the bar, picking up a bottle of gin as he went. "Of course you two are welcome to be my assistants as well, provided you wear a rabbit outfit of course." Jonny added to Ash and Hannah, giving Hannah an extra wink. Jonny placed the gin bottle on the bench between them, before slamming down four glasses, "But, we can discuss the particulars later. Right now it's happy hour and I want to know what everyone wants with their gin?"

Speaking of the devil, Ashton was the next theater occupant the join Hannah and Dee. As usual the older male was a little rambunctious. He was very handsy, not that Hannah minded much. She knew Ashton was just being friendly, no hidden motives there. Still, the fortune teller was a little relieved that he removed physical contact from her. The last thing she wanted was to have a vision of his future.

While her companions drank, Hannah wasn't much into alcohol. Not that it didn't sound fun to get so wasted that you couldn't remember all the stupid things you have done the previous night. Yeah, that sounded bloody brilliant. Her main reason though was that she lacked control sober, being drunk could only make matters worse. That and hangovers didn't seem so great.

Moments later Ana entered the room, setting herself up at a nearby table. Feliciana was a sweet girl, a little naive, but there were those at the theater willing to act as a buffer. From where she stood at the bar, Hannah could see the blank document screen of the younger woman's laptop and sent her a look. With one eyebrow raised high it simply said that Ana should be doing something other than distracting herself. Still, Hannah wasn't her mother and so that was as far as she'd go as far as voicing her disapproval as concerned.

Her eyes drifted out into the crowd only to see Jonny making his way towards them. Hannah just knew he wouldn't make it over to them unscathed and she didn't need to see the future to know that. Jonny was handsome and there were a lot of drink bridesmaids in the theater. It was simply math. Low and behold, her predictions were correct as said intoxicated party member saddled right up to the illusion creator. Surprisingly, it seemed like Jonny had turned her down as the man continued on his way towards them.

Dee still appeared to be a bit annoyed with the whole 'Queen Bunny' incident, but Jonny didn't leave her much time to return before he moved on to the others. Hannah was used to him being a flirt. "Dee suggested a cat suit, so unfortunately you'd have to change your show around to get my services." Was her reply as the man moved to grab the bottle of gin. Hannah gave the glasses a weary look. "Think I'm sticking with water."

Dee watched with amusement as Ash spotted Hannah and Dee, saying an exaggerated "Ladys!" , and began to make his way towards them. As usual his movements were far from normal, more dance than walk. When he made it up to the bar he greeted the two girls by slinging a friendly arm around them, before bursting into a string of words.
"It's fuckin' happy hour an' I haven't got a drink. Do ya see this dilemma I'm havin?"
Dee grinned, you could always count on Ash for a good time and Dee was certain that if he were looking for a drink at Happy Hour, tonight would be a good night.
"So, whats on the agenda for tonight, any special things coming up I should be aware of?" Ash asked a moment later.
"Just some good old fashioned drinking." Dee replied, tipping her beer bottle towards him in a salute before taking a gulp from it.

Dee spotted Feliciana enter the area and give the group a friendly wave before settling at a nearby table. Dee gave her a wave in return. Poor girl looked like she was going to be doing work. Dee shook her head, she wondered how long it would take for someone to come persuade her to come drink with them... At that moment Jonny appeared. Having bypassed a drunk fan, Jonny made his way towards the group gathered at the bar. Dee turned on her heel, the better to show Jonny that she wasn't having a bar of him. She wasn't really angry, it was hard to be angry with Jonny. But, she wasn't about to let him off the hook so easily.

As Jonny joined the group at the bar he slung an arm over Dee's shoulders, grinning at her as she planted a scowl on her face.
"You make a wonderful bunny, Dee" He said, smirking from ear to ear. He planted a quick kiss on her cheek and continued, "Any time you want to be my assistant you're more than welcome." He retreated before Dee could retort, however she did choose the mature path and stuck her tongue out at him. Jonny offered the others a place as his assistant, with the stipulation that they wear rabbit suits too. Dee laughed as she pictured Ash strutting around in a bunny suit.
"Dee suggested a cat suit, so unfortunately you'd have to change your show around to get my services." Hannah replied.
"That could willingly be arranged." Jonny replied to Hannah, flashing her a cheeky smile before placing a bottle of gin on the counter and a set of glasses. "But, we can discuss the particulars later. Right now it's happy hour and I want to know what everyone wants with their gin?"
Both her and Jonny had been at the Theatre for so long that they didn't feel any guilt about stealing alcohol from behind the bar. Sure, a whole bottle of gin was expensive, but Dee knew that Mr Amaroff would simply take the price of it out of Jonny's pay check. Mr Amaroff always just seemed to know these things.

Hannah refused Jonny's offer of a drink, saying that she would stick with water. Dee thought she could understand the other girl's hesitation to drink. Alcohol didn't always dull down people's powers, sometimes it made them harder to control. Dee often found herself finding out things she shouldn't when she was drinking. She'd brush up against a stranger and suddenly all these fact about him or her would appear in her mind. It was easy enough to control when sober. Still, she didn't have the control that Hannah did. If Dee was offered a drink, she'd take it. "Surprise me." Dee told Jonny, "Although if it's anything rabbit related it'll end up in your face." She added, grinning at Jonny.

When Jonny greeted her, the normal Feliciana response would have been to exclaim brightly and give one of her widest smiles. However, the second her eyes caught of sight of him, words - which was weird because a lot of people thougth Feliciana loved to talk - seemed to fail her. And as usual, as she opened her mouth, anything she could have said seemed to jumble up, so intead, silence became her new best friend. Just as he brain decided to formulate a response, Jonny was already walking away and Feliciana just stared at the blank document on her computer screen, biting her lower lip in slight irritation.

Just putting this out there, Feliciana did not have real feelings for Jonny. It wasn't even a crush. He was just being Jonny and Ana was just being herself and like the normal ditz she could be, she found herself sleeping with him. And it wasn't like Jonny was bad in bed or anything. It definitely wasn't a bad night; that much she could tell you. However, as she looks at him, she can't help but feel ashamed. And not of him, but of herself. She wanted romance; that childish and near impossible dream of falling madly, deeply in love and being swept off your feet and all that jazz you hear about in Disney movies. And yet, everything she did seemed to say otherwise.

Sometimes, you honestly have to stop and view your actions in such a way that you see them in a new light. And that was the problem with Feliciana. She always saw herself, knew how bad she'd feel the next day every time she found a new boy toy or flavor of the week. She wasn't sleazy; she actually didn't have a new guy every week. But she wasn't exactly Miss-Innocent either. She was gullible and fell too easily, which in turn, left her making mistakes.

Such as sleeping with Jonny.

Just as she was about to further sink into her self-deprecating and damn near depressing thoughts, Feliciana's eyes fell on the bar area where the others currently remained - looking so at ease and not forced to do homework - and she met Hannah's disapproving gaze. Heat rushed to Feliciana's cheeks at being caught not doing her work and she placed an index finger at her lips, signaling Hannah not to say anything. She was going to get to work. And with another cautious look at the older female, Feliciana set to typing.

There were some times when Hannah really wished she could just be normal. Watching as those around her got ready for a night of partying, she almost regretted her power. There was no telling what she'd see once she started drinking or how many visions the alcohol would bring on. The fortune teller had only gotten drunk once in her life and it was definitely not an experience she wanted a repeat of.

The brunette did her best to stay active socially though, even if she couldn't drink with the group. [b]"I don't know if asking Jonny to 'surprise you'," Hannah even made air quotes around the phrase. "Is the smartest think Dee." She gave the other woman a teasing grin before turning her head to the man in question and sticking her tongue out at him. It was a little childish, but it kept things light.

Hannah let her eyes wonder over the crowd. The theater was pretty lively and the flow would only pick up as the night wore one. Luckily, she clocked out at 5 so she could enjoy herself after that. If anything, she'd allow herself a glass of wine later on in the evening.

There were a few attractive faces in the mix of the theater's occupants. There was definitely potenial, but who knew what would happen? Trick question, she did, but so far it was a mystery. Hannah found herself wondering when the last time she was with someone on an intimate level was. It had been a while, at least so long that Jonny would have surely had to poke fun at her for it. Maybe even Ash or Dee would have had some words for her.

Her eyes fell on Anna, thankful that the girl was doing her work. Hannah had tried college herself for a short period of time, until she realized it just wasn't for her. It said something when she felt guilty every time she accidentally saw a future test. That had actually be more stressful than studying for it. Either way she was happy that Anna was working hard to earn a degree.

"So ladies and gents," Hannah began, her eyes turning back to the group at the bar. "Anyone got anything interesting going on this evening?"

Cracking open the door, steam rose off his skin as the cool air greeted him, his steps leaving warm prints against the hardwood. He popped a mint into his mouth and searched his phone for a song before proceeding to towel dry his hair. Humming quietly to the voice of Aretha Franklin, he worked from head to toe, unwrapping his the towel hanging from his waist to dry his body as well. Grabbing his work clothes from the bed, the bartender dressed with a rhythm to his steps, his strides eventually carrying him back to the bathroom. Wiping his forearm against the glass, he rubbed a thin amount of wax between his hands before lightly combing through his hair. Giving himself a final look over, he flash stepped behind the bar in time for his shift.

Casually, he rose from behind the counter with a glass and rag in hand, rubbing the two together under the pretense of having cleaned the glass. Those who could have sworn the bartender was not there a moment ago were forced to reconsider, eventually coming the conclusion that they had to have been mistaken. The others were too drunk or oblivious to notice, or so he thought.

"Jack!"

He nearly jumped, but caught himself as he greeted a familiar face. "Dan, how's life treating ya?" The large man kept his trademark scowl.

"Been looking for you. I need some juice - no, I want something like juice, but make it salty and not sweet."

"Gotta be a bit more specific about that bud, I don't know what you mean." He asked, a sheepish smile gracing his confused expression. The man waved a large hand to dismiss the matter. "Be creative."

Dan was one of the stranger regulars, an imposing hulk of a man with a supposed sweet tooth. He always ordered the strangest mixes of alcohol, which he dubbed "juice", that always included something sweet to top them off. What went into these were always chosen by Dan haphazardly, but no matter how disgusting it tasted, he would always drink till the last drop. The first time this happened, Jack watched nervously as he downed a tall glass of the green liquid, concerned that this was going to make him sick. His worries were apparently unfounded for Dan continued on to tell an impressed Jack a story about how his brother's wife is a real piece of work and that it was a mistake to introduce her to him. Nowadays, he found it easier to just run with it.

Randomly, he grabbed some olive juice, whiskey and vodka from the shelves and set them down before bending to retrieve a glass. He turned toward the others, who up until now he was unable to acknowledge, mirroring their startled looks with one of his own.

"Your guess is as good as mine." Smiling, he relaxed into a brief laugh. "So, anyone have any ideas?"

"Did you know I fry laptops?" Whether she was simply entertaining herself or completely losing it, Skye did not know, but the second she started threatening the laptop in her hands, she began doubting whether or not she was balancing on the edges of sanity and insanity. "Yes. I fry little laptops like you all the time. I fry them and I like it."

Program Installing... 53%

Despite the many times this process have happened, Skye never ceases to believe that the program installation screen taunted her intentionally as the installation bar snaked its way toward completion. An exasperated sigh was heard through the silence of the right wing of stage as Skye sat down against the cool floorboard, staring up at the screen that, at the same time, seemed to look down at her with mockery.

You know it. On my way to get Haydn’s props. Do we need anything else? Skye blinked slightly, narrowing her eyes as the screen of her cell phone lighted up in the darkness, shining like a flashlight against the dim background of the right wing. As the text made itself clear to her, a faint smile rose on the corners of her lips. Of course, the two members of the backstage crew worked well together, much unlike her, who preferred solitude next to working with others. Because no one touches my equipment. Despite her occasional need for help which she never comes to admit, she held a possessive grip over her equipment, so much that she was more than ready to flip out on anyone who comes near them. With a push of her arms, she rose into a standing position, placing her phone into her back pocket as she gathered her laptop, pressing it to her chest. "Sound system checks out. We're good to go for now." The screen of her phone lit up in her pocket as the words she spoke morphed themselves into text on the white screen.

Where to now.. She turned in the darkness, the silence was comforting to say the least compared to the chaos that roamed outside of backstage. Food and drink would be nice. There was no stopping Skye once she got started on her equipment, often forgetting the most basic human needs such as food and drink. A turn of her feet, and she began walking through the maze of the theater mapped out clearly in her head.

It didn't take a genius to see the enormous group already forming at the bar, which was technically created for customers rather than the workers. However, Mr. Amaroff never did pose specific rules regarding the crew at the bar table, and somehow, everything was always taken out of their paychecks. Not that it mattered, seeing Mr. Amaroff did give the crew members a generous paycheck along with everything else. "Remind me to put a GPS tracker on all of you," Skye grumbled as she passed the other members at the bar, the lights above the bar table brightened slightly as if announcing her presence, "That way I don't have to run into you people all the time." With delicacy she has never seemed to show to anything else, she placed her laptop down at the furthest left end of the counter, or as she would like to call "Skye's Corner", given that not many others preferred solitude when they came to the bar.

Program Installing... 62%

With an exasperated sigh, she lowered her head onto the cool metal countertop. Each passing second as the installation bar forced itself toward completion appeared to undermine her skills as the Technical Hand. And with each passing second, her urge to configure the system's original set-up rose. Maybe if I just.. No! She clenched her hand, moving her head up to stare at the lit screen of her laptop. One more fried laptop and she was going to go over the edge for the day. While Haydn probably found her mini breakdowns hilarious, most would not take much amusement in those breakdowns.

"Do you serve water at the bar?" She looked up at the always smiling bartender, Jack, having blocked out the noises and sounds that mixed in so well with the chaotic theater, which seemed even more so with the increased amount of customers for the night. While Skye had no qualms about drinking, her job, unlike many others, required more... Delicate, as she may call it, workings of the mind. As much as she often took sanctuary against the stress and pressures of her work by drinking on the job, past experiences have not proven such decisions to be too good of an idea. As much as she would not want to admit, she was a bit of a lightweight, it did not take much for her to start screwing with the basic equipment required for performance, nor much for her to start a light show as she did just about a week ago after another one of her rash turns to alcohol. Of course, while many members of the performing crew found such experiences amusing, the other two members of the backstage crew, along with Mr. Amaroff, did not take much delight in her little experiments.

Ashton

Image

The buzz of the alcohol always had Ashton feeling good. He felt, bouncy, content.

Ash watched everyone else float towards the bar as the afternoon pushed into evening. He swiveled around in his chair, noticing a group of three young girls, probably in their early twenties, sitting a few tables down.

Ashton's eyes connected with one of them, a redhead with vibrant blue eyes, and she gave a small wave with a sly smile. Ashton's face suddenly broke into an array of reds and pinks as his eyes revert back to the group in front of him.

Taking a giant swig of his drink, he swirled the last of his scotch around in the glass cup. A familiar beat rose through the air as the song "Do What You Want" by Lady Gaga came on and his eyes lit up as his head begins to bob to the beat.

As the song rumbled to the chorus, Ashton jumped up, unable to control his urge to dance. Although he found the song feminine, it had a vibey beat, and that was enough to get him up and dancing. He grabs Hannah's hand and swings her around as he sings along,

[center]So do what you want
What you want with my body
Do what you want
Don't stop, let's party
Do what you want
What you want with my body
Do what you want
What you want with my body!

He swayed his hips in a silly manner and spun Hannah around again. As the song continues to build up to the chorus, he lets go of Hannah, takes the last gulp of his drink.

"That stage looks awfully boring, so bland and stuff," he declared, pointing towards the stage, "Jonny be my partner? Let's give these folks a show!"

As he swaggered up to the stage, he added a few dance slides and moonwalks in tune with the music.

Gideon's shoulders gave out into a shrug as he slumped back into his seat, "Shocked? Me? Nah. Makes me wish we could all see 'em during Halloween or something, though. That'd spice the show up for sure."

Shaela's eyes almost gave a roll, I don't think anyone would want my gift Her eyes avert towards the table, and drift around the room a bit as the small place slowly became more filled in. Not just with customers, but whatever they had following them.

"I've only had the urge to brutally murder just two of the customers so far, so it's safe to say work has been good!"

Shaela giggled, "We wouldn't want you to go all brute about someone spilling a beer."

Gideon's gaze turned blank again, as if his thoughts had just ventured off somewhere far. Shaela knew the gaze, it was one of those gazes that she used often to try to distract herself from the reality in front of her.

"How about you? What's your day been like so far?" Gideon's gaze filtered back towards her.

"I had one customer today," She shrugged, "Nothing too exciting, just ridding of a poltergeist. I'm assuming though I might have more customers tonight. I can see a lot of people with some heavy spiritual baggage coming into this place."

Shaela's eyes flickered over to the stage as she watched Ashton begin to make his way towards it. She leaned back in her chair a bit, flicking a strand of hair from her eyes, curious to see what kind of nonsense the Dreamwalker was up to.

"I see we have our first line of drunken entertainment though." She smirked, chuckling to herself.
