|Personality|
Fleur Sauvage is a woman without caution or cowardliness. Thanks to her rather unique upbringing and her ever-doting father, Leon Sauvage, Fleur learned how to live through her fear long ago. She's ever-honest, but does not enjoy cruelty nor will she ever deliberately hurt another's feelings. She tries her best to ignore her own pride in all situations, as she has always felt it was out of place. She prefers to look at the world objectively, as this allows her to focus on more important matters. She has a light sense of humor and enjoys a good laugh or two, but for the most part she is neutrally serious and can usually be seen with a straight or ever-so-slightly smiling face. Her small 5'4 frame tends to cause others to draw conclusions that she is small and ever-sweet when, in fact, she has quite the temper when the right buttons are pushed. She is never afraid to give her opinion when she feels necessary, at the same time, she never gives an opinion that isn't thoroughly scrutinized. Above all Fleur is kind and holds everyone around her to a high standard, even if they don't hold themselves to one, and does everything she can to help someone reach their full potential.
|History|
Leon Sauvage was not your normal, run-of-the-mill family man. The only things he told Fleur of her mother, was that she was beautiful, her name was Sophie, and that she died in childbirth. Fleur never truly mourned her because she never knew her, but she liked to imagine what she looked like or what she would look like now. He also mentioned that Fleur's mother never truly knew what he did, as they were knew lovers when she became pregnant. Leon was a hitman, a "cleaner", for certain criminal organizations in France, and now New York. Shortly after finding out about Fleur, he moved to the states and made a new name for himself in New York City. Despite his dangerous lifestyle, he always made sure his petite "Savage Flower" had the very best. Fleur went to the best schools and began ballet and gymnastics at a very young age. Her father thought it important that since she wouldn't be able to develop much braun, being so little, she should be as quick and flexible as possible. Of course she was also taught to defend herself and use several weapons, but Fleur loved to move her body in interesting and previously unheard of ways. As she discovered more and more of her own natural range of flexibility, she spent more time training and practicing.
She thought she had the perfect life, she adored her father who always loved her and kept her happy, but she learned the hardway what a life like theirs would cost when someone cashed in the bill. Leon had always planned and strategized many different paths they were to take if anything should happen to him, or if he were to be discovered, or both. Those plans were called into action as the police swarmed their upper east side apartment in New York. These were not average police, as they were crooked and out for revenge on Leon for killing a particularly crooked cop recently. Fleur was fortunately at ballet practice while her life fell apart not just a few blocks away. Despite being one of the best, her dear father Leon was severely outnumbered and eventually fell after a long and very explosive fight, carrying his fair share of men with him. The devestation Fleur felt at the young age of 17, no one should ever feel. She had planned to have her father for so much longer, and he was ripped from beneath her feet.
With the help of an old friend of Leon's, Fleur was able to relocate and join a ballet company after she graduated high school. For 5 years she danced, keeping her contortionist skills honed on her own time, until she was discovered by the very same police who killed her father. The was quite a battle between the crime family Leon worked for, and these police as Leon was beloved by all who knew him.
In the chaos of the fight, Fleur managed to slip away and gather whatever she could carry along with the only money she had. She bought a bus ticket to a random city and set off to work for another company, or maybe even teach. It wasn't until she stopped at a carnival in Virginia that she finally found a place to rest. To go by only a stage name an live a nomadic lifestyle? It was the perfect place to be and soon after talking to the owner, she had her own place to live and preform to her hearts content. That was 3 years ago.
