Rogue kept a hand clutched to his wounded side, his claws were strapped safely to his belt, looking like some sort of demonic leg guards. He ran through the forest, not bothering to see if Glacies was keeping up with him. His black, combat booted feet easily picked their way through tree roots and brush. He was in full military mode right now, keeping his eyes fixed on the goal and nothing else. That goal was to escape, escape from the only home he had ever known. Escape and live.

He felt upset and betrayed, nothing like his usual cheerful self. He felt as if his family had just abandon him. Well, most of his family. This time he took a glance behind himself, to make sure that Glacies was still following. As much as he disliked her, right now she was the only familiar face that didn't want him dead. And he didn't even want her dead at the moment.

Rogue had to stop, blood loss was starting to make him light-headed. He leaned up against a tree and just focused on breathing. "Sorry, give me a minute." he said breathlessly to Glacies. He felt bad about maaking her stop too, after all if they got caught they'd both be dead. He had to stop thinking about just himself. "Better yet, leave me here and go on ahead. I'll catch up."

Skylar Crimson "Glacies"

Glacies was finding it quite difficult to keep up with Rogue. Her speed was majorly decreased by the deep wound in her right thigh, but she had to keep moving. Every step just made her leg ache and bleed more and he was running really fast. Glacies couldn't help but think about what had just happened. Why would they do that? Do they not care about my revenge at all? Glacies felt a pit in her stomach. She didn't even get the chance to say bye to her mother. Her depressed, alone mother. Glacies exhaled and finally caught up to Rogue.

"Sorry, give me a minute. Better yet, leave me here and go on ahead. I'll catch up."

Glacies sighed and rolled her eyes.
Okay, no. I'm not leaving you behind.
Glacies plopped down on a log and she was breathing heavily. Glacies looked down at her wound and she knew she needed to find a way to cover it up. Glacies ripped off her pant leg, now fully revealing the wounded area. Glacies wrapped the pant leg tightly around her deep cut, flinching at the pain. Glacies ripped off her other pant leg and stood up, walking towards Rogue. Without even asking, she came closer to Rogue and wrapped the pant leg tightly around his body, covering his wounded side.
Let's keep going, you can lean on me if you'd like.
Glacies decided that she could be considerate towards Rogue, for once.

OOC: It's all good. :P

β€œOkay, no. I'm not leaving you behind.” Rogue was both startled and flattered by her answer. He had expected her to agree and leave him there. They didn't exactly get along that well. Curiously he watched as she sat down, then shortly after torn the leg of her pants off. Once again startled Rogue looked away, face turning red as he did.

Contrary to popular belief, Rogue was not a player like the other soliders thought. In fact, he was still a proud virgin. So seeing her do that was new and strange. Though, he didn't wear a shirt, just a short sleeved red jacket, so he couldn't exactly say anything about her covering up. There was another rip, that Rogue assumed was the other pant leg. He turned back just in time to see Glacies walk over to him. He knew his face was still red, and willed it to go away. Glacies then wrapped the other pant leg around him, as a makeshift bandage. Rogue mumbled a thanks, already feeling much better after the short break. But they had to keep moving. As if reading his mind, Glacies spoke up. β€œLet's keep going, you can lean on me if you'd like.”

There were two reasons Rogue was certainly not going to lean on her. The first was his ridiculous manly pride. The second was actually practical. She was the one with the injured leg, it was hard enough for her to walk without his weight to worry about. He voiced this, trying not to sound rude as he did. "You're the one with the injured leg, you should be leaning on me." It was his awkward way of offering his help.

Glacies chuckled at Rogue's blush and returned a small one when she realized what she just did. It wasn't exactly what you would call "proper". She shook her head at him when he "offered" to help her.
I'm okay. Let's go.
Glacies began walking ahead of Rogue, expecting him to follow behind her. After a few minutes of walking, her walk starting becoming a limp, but she did her best to keep her posture nice and straight. Glacies decided this would be an appropriate time to start up a conversation.
So... um, how is this going to work?

Immediately after Glacies asked this, she felt a sharp shoot through her leg and she stumbled over, catching herself on a nearby tree. The pain was so sudden and painful that it caused her eyes to well up in tears. Glacies got embarrassed because she didn't want Rogue to think of her as weak. Glacies turned her face towards the tree to wipe her tears away and pushed herself off the tree.
Let's keep on going.

Glacies made a ridiculous attempt to continue walking because the pain quickly returned and she gripped onto Rogue's sleeve, so she wouldn't fall face first into the ground. Glacies held her head down, so she wouldn't have to look at him. Glacies wiped away her stubborn tears that came back whenever she got the pain. As much as she hated to admit it, she wouldn't be able to walk much further.
