HEIGHT
5'0. He is quite petite and small , even for his age, though that fact doesn't bother him much at all.

WEIGHT
95lbs. Being light, it is as if his bones are hollow. He hardly has any flesh on his bones either, and is relatively skinny.

HAIR COLOR
His hair is a light shade of green, somewhat odd even in the world as it is now. Lights and shadows often make interesting patterns in his hair, as it changes in color and intensity under different sources of light.

EYE COLOR
An almost hypnotizing shade of gold. His eyes are one of the more outstanding ones compared to both his siblings' blue eyes, looking like molten gold. They have a tendency to reflect light, even in the night, making them piercing.

GENERAL APPEARANCE
Fūko is just a small, skinny boy, nothing very threatening about him. In fact, the only distinguishing feature about the otherwise normal looking child is that he had a shocking mop of light green hair and golden yellow orbs with an often sly look in them, as if he always has something up his sleeve. With his hair always in a mess and a cheerful smile, no one would really expect the boy to be of any danger to anyone. Despite always seeming to be small and weak, he was satisfied with that form as it provided him with many different advantages in observing human nature quietly. After all, no one would expect a small boy to move and strike at such a fast speed with a strong intent to kill.

PERSONALITY
      ✦ Mischievous ✧ Chilidish ✦ Caring ✧ Sadistic ✦

With eyes sparkling with mischief, Kiku is rather hard to figure out, with his sly appearance. His words riddled with lies and deceit, people find it hard to trust the skinny youth. He has no qualms in playing dirty to get his way, always trying to gain the upper hand by hook or by crook. The end justify the means to him, and though he likes games he doesn't care for the rules needed to play them, satisfied with winning whether fairly or not. He enjoys pulling harmless pranks on others as well, playfully poking fun and teasing his siblings. It was his way of greeting a person he finds interesting, and though it is unconventional and often gets mistaken for other things, the people who knows him really well knows that it was his way of showing affection and trust to others. He is a queer child, always using odd ways of showing affection to others, so he might take a bit of getting used to with his ways.

His sadistic side is something he hides from view, but he would cheerfully maul someone to death with the ever happy smile on his face. Nothing seems to trigger his remorse, something that he is trying to amend. Hurting others and even consuming them is something like a way of life for him, and he had gotten used to the world. It can be argued that it was a coping mechanism the boy had developed to keep up with the world as it is now, and all the violence he knows of. However, he doesn't have much of an explanation for it himself, but tries to hide it so they wouldn't get too intimidated.

Despite the darker sides of his nature, he is surprisingly and undeniably childish, hardly acting his age. He blatantly refuses to be serious, and his behaviour toward life is like it was all a game. He pouts often, and never treats things too severely unless they are really getting out of hand. He is caring however, even if his personality is somewhat twisted. He cares deeply for the ones he loves, willing to go to the ends of the world for them.

LIKES
Sweets - Anything sweet would do, from cakes to candies, and he adores them. They are his one guilty pleasure and he could eat several times his body weight in sweets.
Books - Human literatire are definitely the best. It is one of the times that he is extremely thankful for his status as a noble, so he could easily demand books from the others who found them. He looks for them with a passion, collecting certain books and passages that he likes. He quotes books sometimes when he is talking to humans, as he thought that using their own phrases are the utmost respect he could show them.
Company - With their parents hardly around, he like shaving someone to chat to, often pestering his siblings a little. He gets bored rather quickly if there isn't anything interest at hand, so he enjoys chatting with others.
Huamns - Amazing creatures. Though he knows that they are the natural predator of them, he is deeply fascinated by their behavior. Their emotions and motivation to act always poses a delightful puzzle for him, and he seeks to follow his father's footsteps in the future.
Games - Things that stimulate his mind and occupies time. He likes to solve games and puzzles, and might be at one for hours. No one said he had to play fair when he is competing with others however, and more an one instance might one find him cheating.

DISLIKES
Boredom - It feels like he was trying to avoid being bored for his whole life. Using puzzles and talking to others to fill up his mind, he dislikes the feeling of boredom and having nothing to do. It worries him slightly if his mind isn't razor sharp all the time, as it might be easy to take advantage of him otherwise.
Silence - There is something in it that slightly unnerves him. He can't stay in a completely silent place for too long without making a sound or he fears that his imagination might run wild.
Being easily startled - He has no patience at all with those unwilling to take risks and get scared at the smallest thing. He would prefer not to associate with them completely, for he finds them too weak for the world in which only the strongest survive.
Sleep - To him it's more of a waste of time than anything else, not to mention the fact that his active mind is often haunted by nightmares. He does understand and respect the need for others to sleep however, but he does like snuggling up to someone else for a nap. If not, he stays up for nights on end reading until he falls asleep from exhaustion.
Losing his family - It is the only environment where he feels perfectly safe, his little sanctuary where he is safe from the world. He is afraid of losing his mind if even that place is gone, so he treasures his family more than you would expect.

TALENTS
Memory - He has a photographic memory, able to remember things simply by glancing at them. Winding streets pose no challenge to him as he just needs to go through every passage way and he could maneuver through them as easily as hennaed lived there his whole life.
Persistent - He would speed through many books at the same time to get to a piece of information, and have no qualms in torturing others for it. As long as his mind is set on doing one thing, he would do it by hook or by crook, and he wouldn't stop until he got to it.
Speed Reading - He flips through books at a fast rate, sometimes many at one time. It often helps him save time, along with gathering information at a fast rate.
Technology - The way machines work with their compartments often prove to be an interesting challenge for his mind. He often churns out new discoveries and findings, and fixes machines fairly easily.

FLAWS
Empathy - He is not very good at sensing emotions from others, neither is he good at handling them. He often finds it hard to deal with, and would get flustered if he makes someone cry.
Attention - He has a short attention span, unable to focus on anything he doesn't like. He usually just spaces out if he finds something boring, uncaring to whether the topic was important or not.
Stubborn - While his persistence is a strength of his, he is also extremely stubborn to his own ideals. He follows rules to a point, but when he finds it conflicting to what he thinks is right he would simply ignore them.
Trust - He has a hard time putting complete trust in someone when they are meeting for the first time. He rarely puts complete trust in anyone, only to his family and closest friends. He might act friendly toward outsiders, but never really trusts them.

FEARS
Death - What happens after death is always a mystery to him, no he doesn't want to find out anytime soon.
Dark thoughts - They are probably the root to violence happening now. No one is safe from the power of thoughts, and when they turn into actions he fears for the safety of the world. His urges to destroy sometimes makes him terrified of himself sometimes, worried that he would pose a danger.

POWER
Blood Manipulation. He can control and manipulate his own blood and the blood of others, sometimes gaining their power by tasting their blood. He usually shapes it into sharp 'feathers' that cover his skin, using those to slice at his enemies.

WEAPON
Glass fishhooks. It is something he likes to use as a weapon developed after his favorite villain from Peter Pan. Tied to transparent threads, it is hard to spot his invisible weapons that he hides under his sleeves, let alone intercept them. His aim is good and his weapons strike true, often causing panic to his victims as they did not know what was causing the attacks.

Slang, a pretty but expressionless or unintelligent woman. I.e. "She's nothing more than a doll."

[ Dirty Paws | Of Monsters and Men ]

Dɪᴀʟᴏɢᴜᴇ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✦ #66CDAA || Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✧ #008B8B

It was the same reoccurring nightmare, the one where the body hung from the rafters of the attic, a makeshift noose tightened around the being's throat; her body half eaten. There was another Being in the room, his hands and mouth covered in blood and a sick smile twisted across his lips as he turned and reached for the human. A scream ripped from Doll's body, her eyes flying open as she sat up in bed, panting. Someone grabbed her and forced Doll back into a laying position as she clawed at the air, yelling for the person not to touch her. "It's alright, you're alright. Nothing here is going to hurt you Loretta," her real name. It was something given to her by the first Being she had encountered, a sweet older one that had died once Doll was of age to be placed in a zoo. Only one person knew what it was and that was Master Atarashi.

The tears in her eyes began to dry, leaving a sticky feeling on her face. Thankfully the office she was made to sleep in until she could share with Rose and Sara was sound proof; or at least it muffled whatever noises were made in this space. Dr. Atarashi had brought Doll here on the grounds that he could heal her better in a smaller, safer environment but like every other Being's home she had ever been to, Doll was no guest. She was a pet and as far as owners went her new one was not the worst. "Why don't you get ready for the day?" Dr. Atarashi suggested quietly, releasing his hold on her since Doll had seemed to calm down. The blonde nodded her head and sat up, wiping the remnants of tears from her eyes so that Kiku would not see that she had been crying.

Today the outfit laid out for her today was a blue dress with a white apron. She recognized it as a story book character but the name escaped her. Doll shut her eyes and tilted her head, attempting to remember who it was but to no avail. She sighed and ran a brush through her long locks, braiding them quickly and exiting the room. Doll tugged at the collar around her throat, the lights blinking every few seconds to ensure it was on. The thing only had to functions, to keep track of her and ensure that Doll couldn't leave the property. The collar was a safety measure due to the events of her first day on the estate. After the initial shock of moving wore off Doll had gone into hiding. She hadn't left the estate, she just hid in the gardening shed behind a tall pot of unplanted tulips; scared to death after Zero's interrogation and being bombarded by questions.

Doll entered the kitchen, the humans had a separate eating space and only ate in the dining room when invited. She was either the first to arrive or was so late that the others had all eaten, Doll wasn't sure but one glance at the clock across the space indicated it was still morning. "Morning Doll," the Atarashi's chef said, waving his spatula in greeting. "Good morning Grell," Doll replied and sat at the table, delighted when he put a plate of eggs with cheese and vegetables in front of her. The human dug in, eating her fill rather quickly and taking a swig of water. Should she wait to see if the others would come? Or go up to Kiku? Doll fidgeted in her seat as she thought and decided she should face her Master.

She walked up the two flights of stairs to his room, hesitating as she raised her arm to knock. "Kiku?" Doll tapped her fist against the door twice before opening the door a splice to peek inside. The room was dark, the blackout curtains drawn shut. Should she come back later or wake him up? Was he even in bed? Doll couldn't tell as the room was pitch black. She stepped inside, fear quickly crawling up her spine. Doll stepped out once more and shut the door, sliding against it until she was sitting on the ground with her arms around her knees. She would wait out here where it was light, yes that was a much better idea.

"I’m going to take a nap. Call me when something happens."

[ Alors On Danse | Stromae ]

Dɪᴀʟᴏɢᴜᴇ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✦ Metallic Mint--#37FDFC || Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✧ Teal--#008080

It would be incorrect to say that Thanyos was an early waker or a late sleeper. See, that would assume that he had regular sleeping habits. Much to the chagrin of his father, mother, and Zero, Thanyos seemed to reject all logic and slept whenever he wanted and wherever he wanted. To make matters worse, he never slept for more than five hours in one stretch. The night before he had been up for most of the night, entertaining himself by plotting and playing a few games with Kiki. But eventually the younger boy had to sleep and Thanyos, left to his own devices, had watched his favorite action movie ever: a human movie from more than a century ago called Top Gun. He had fallen asleep about halfway in, curled up on the large couch with a massive pile of blankets around him, and that was how he woke up in the morning.

Yawning and stretching much like a cat, Thanyos sat up and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He glanced at the television, which was playing (on loop) the menu for Top Gun. He grinned and was about to hit play when his stomach rumbled.I should get something to eat... The being sighed and rolled off the couch, landing quite comfortably in the pile of blankets that had been kicked off while he slept. Turning the television off, Thanyos didn't bother to clean up after himself before walking to the kitchen. None of the humans were there, though the cook was preparing some of their food.

"Morning. Have any of the humans woken up yet?" Thanyos asked, honestly curious. Part of him hoped that his own, Rosalinda (but everyone called her Rosa) was awake. She would generally play his games and she was fun to have around when Kiki was too busy with his own things or, even worse, wanted to read. But Grell told him that only Doll, Kiki's human, had woken up so far. "Thanks. I'll have to pay her a visit." Thanyos honestly liked all the humans (even Atticus, who was a bit annoying but was also fun to have around) but he liked playing jokes on them because, unlike Zero, they couldn't do anything back to him. It was just easier.

After grabbing a handful of chocolates (Grell didn't mind as long as he ate his meals too) and the equivalent of an energy bar, Thanyos dashed up the the stairs, well aware of the noise he was making and not really caring. It wasn't too early in the morning and his siblings needed to wake up soon anyway. Kiki's room was on one of the highest levels of the mansion and it took two flights of stairs for Thanyos to get there. Doll, unsurprisingly, was sitting on the ground waiting for her being to wake up. Thanyos adopted his usual smile and waved at her.

"Morning, Doll. Waiting for my brother?" Thanyos asked, stepping closer. He knew that she was one of the more… nervous humans and didn't want to scare her. He had the funny idea that, once he got to know her better, she'd join him and Kiki in their pranks. Rosa too, but Thanyos had the feeling that it would be harder to convince her to join them. Doll was a little easier to convince of things. "Did you sleep ok?" Thanyos added after a moment, not quite sure what to say to help keep Doll calm. Usually he just interacted with his siblings after all.

[ Alors On Danse | Stromae ]

Thanyos' smile grew as Doll asked him if he had breakfast already. While some of the more vicious beings still ate human (in fact in some circles it was considered a delicacy) he had never liked the taste. Then again, he had only had human once so he wasn't exactly an expert. Either way, he wasn't about to eat any of the humans, no matter how obnoxious or poorly behaved they might become. That wouldn't stop him from joking about it of course. He loved to play pranks that involved others screaming in terror. Their reactions made it all the more fun after all.

"I have, thank you." Thanyos cocked his head to one side at Doll's second question. That was a fair question, actually. The redheaded human was much different from the others in her spitfire personality that matched her hair; while she could be calm and peaceful one moment the next she'd be yelling at the top of her lungs. Of course Thanyos liked his human, but sometimes he wondered what went through her head. "I don't know if she's awake yet. I'm certain she'll find me if she is," Thanyos replied.

I hope Kiki wakes up soon, the being thought as he glanced at the door. He wanted to play a game with his brother and set up the day's pranks. Not to say that Doll was poor company, she just wasn't as interesting as Thanyos' brother. Almost every other being in the house had, at some point, wished that they could separate Kiki and Thanyos if just for one day of peace. That had yet to happen and their parents had yet to find anything that could calm the two down. At least Kiki liked books, but Thanyos… Not so much. I wonder if the humans are supposed to be here for something… Nah. Thanyos doubted that the human additions to the family were any more than their father apologizing for not being around very often.

"I don't suppose you've watched Top Gun?" Thanyos asked suddenly, grin growing. He moved closer to Doll until they were only a few feet apart, his excitement at being able to show someone else his favorite movie taking over his more thoughtful side. "It's a really, really, really good movie. I'll make Kiki show it to you and I can show my human at the same time!" Thanyos' smile showed off his slightly pointed teeth, though it was clear that he thought this was a good idea and expected Doll to approve.

"Let the game begin."

Dɪᴀʟᴏɢᴜᴇ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✦ #5c9120 || Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✧ #912020

As the noise from outside reached Kiku's ears, he stirred and awoke, eyelids fluttering open to a pair of bright gold eyes. At first, he was puzzled. It was not often that he slept, usually spending night after night in his room reading or tinkering on machines. The idea of being in a comatose state in which you hallucinate wildly never quite appealed to him, so he never expected that he would fall asleep out of exhaustion. However, he was pleasantly surprised by the fact that this time at least, he didn't have any nightmares. They usually consisted of blood and the dead bodies of family members. It was troubling, but they weren't as bad as Zero's. That was something to be thankful for. He pulled on a white coat with long sleeves, red target patterns painted on them in perfect circles. They were not too commonly seen, but he wasn't his fashionable mother. He wears anything that was comfortable for him.

He could hear Thanyo's voice, loud and cheerful, the excitement obvious in his tone. And then, there was the soft and shy tone of Doll, his pet. If he tried hard enough, he could hear Zero's cool voice and Rosa's huffy one. A smile crept up on his lips as he sat up in bed, swinging his legs over the side. The chess pieces were all in place, now its time to have some fun. His eyes moved to Doll's figure leaning at the door, and with quick movement he moved up to give her a tight squeeze behind her back as a greeting. He was being polite to a species he hadn't met before, and after all, aren't hugs considered a form of affection for them? Humans were hard to puzzle out.

"Are you bullying Doll now?" Kiku turned to Thanyos, his tone lightly playful and teasing. "You shouldn't scare off the pets after a few days, you know. That's Zer and Fuko's job." He smiled at the idea of his calm and organised brother intimidating someone with his silence, or his sister simply scaring them off with her ways. They really were a fun family.

A thought came to him suddenly, and his eyes filled with a childish mischief "Who next?" Thynos usually came up with their pranks, and Kiku was more than happy to help him execute it with gadgets and plans. Today was going to be brilliant. "Doll, do you want to join in?" He spoke after some hesitation. Hewas sure that his father brought the humans in for a certain reason. He is a doctor in psychology after all, and that should be reason enough to believe that all his actions have a certain purpose. Kick wasn't so sure now, but he remained a little unnaturally polite to his human. It was hard to communicate with someone you didn't feel close to or trust, but he took the initiative to include her in their conversation. He didn't think of her as a pet, more of a unknown acquaintance, and was just as cautious as she was in approaching her.

[ Dirty Paws | Of Monsters and Men ]

Dɪᴀʟᴏɢᴜᴇ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✦ #66CDAA || Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✧ #008B8B

The way his smile grew was making Doll even more nervous. What did he eat that would make him grin like that? Doll wondered if it was human. It was illegal to eat them nowadays but that didn't stop some. When Doll was in the zoo she had heard about black market deals and sometimes humans would disappear, never to be heard from again. The thought sent shivers down her spine, but Doll did not give away her displeasure. She would remain perfectly pleasant, or at least try her best not to break down in front of the Beings. Doll did not want them to know how weak she truly was. The human didn't know what Rosa's relationship with Thanyos was like but the boy sounded quite fond of the human. The blonde hoped that in the future she and Kiku would grow that close.

"No, I'm afraid I haven't." She shook her head at the unfamiliar sounding movie, flinching when Thanyos moved closer to her. "That sounds nice, I would greatly enjoy watching with you all." Top Gun? What an odd name, but Doll wasn't going to judge considering what everyone called her. The door opened from behind, if Doll hadn't been leaning forward she would have surely fallen backwards onto the floor. A set of arms wrapped tightly around her middle, pulling Doll to her feet. Thankfully she had grown accustomed to Kiku's way of greeting people. She was still not used to being touched unexpectedly but Doll had mentally prepared herself as soon as the door opened.

"No, he wasn't bullying me, w-we were just talking about movies." Doll quickly came to Thanyos's defense, attempting to keep her tone light and to not sound defensive. Doll couldn't help but stifle a giggle at Kiku's statement. Fuko was a bit scary, from what Doll had seen of her she was not one the human would associate with. Zero on the other hand... Was just as scary. He was quiet, as though he were silently plotting and waiting to strike. Doll tilted her head to the side at the question that was aimed at Thanyos; whose next? A target? She glanced at the sleeves of Kiku's shirt, perhaps that was why they were there?

"Oh yes, I would very much like to be included." Doll replied cautiously, wondering if they were going to get in trouble for whatever the two boys were about to do. She could hear Zero and Sara down the hall, it seems the two had just woken up. Perhaps they were the target? Or maybe it was Atticus and Fuko? Doll smoothed down the white apron of her dress and waited, hoping she wouldn't slow them down and that they wouldn't mind her company.

"I’m going to take a nap. Call me when something happens."

Dɪᴀʟᴏɢᴜᴇ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✦ Metallic Mint--#37FDFC || Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✧ Teal--#008080

Thanyos couldn't help but frown when he heard that Doll hadn't watched the movie. He made up his mind that both he and Kiki would have to show their humans. After all, you couldn't keep an uneducated human! That is, one who didn't know about culture. I wonder if Rosa has seen the movie… I doubt it. For some reason, she didn't strike Thanyos as the kind of human to enjoy that kind of a movie, but Thanyos knew he could get her to watch it eventually.

Right as Thanyos was about to reply, he noticed Kiki slip out the door and hug his human. It was a bit of a bizarre move for Kiki, but Thanyos thought it was good that his brother got along with his human. Thanyos made a face when his brother asked if he was being mean to the human. Doll, however, replied before Thanyos could. So she wants to stay on my good side… or she likes me too. Thanyos wasn't sure but he didn't mind.

"Fuko and Zero aren't that scary," Thanyos cut in. He thought that Fuko's tricks were a bit mean sometimes, but she meant well and she had never truly hurt anyone to the best of his knowledge. And Zero could be stern, especially after a particularly messy or explosive (literally) prank. But neither was that mean. "Hmmm well I had a few ideas but it depends on whether or not you feel like running today." Most of Thanyos' pranks resulted in him and Kiki running from one (or more) people. Occasionally they were caught but more often than not they were able to escape.

Of course the running away while laughing, chased by someone covered in who knows what (or holding something, or having just crushed a bug, or basically whatever Thanyos had thought up) was half the fun. The other half was actually plotting and carrying out what he considered to be pretty genius ideas. Maybe we should try putting spiders in the laundry again… Or we can glue the chairs to the ceiling again! That particular prank had been extremely entertaining.

Wait, what? Thanyos blinked a few times in surprise as he heard Kiki actually invite Doll to join them in their prank. It wasn't that the human was a bad person. In fact, Thanyos could grow to like her. But none of his pranks had room for three people. It just never was an issue. Fuko had never wanted to join them and neither Kiki nor Thanyos wanted to ask Zero if he wanted to join them. All the servants had learned to avoid the two boys when they pranked people. I'm really confused… Thanyos smiled, though it was less certain than before.

"Well if there's going to be three of us then I have a special little prank to pull today," Thanyos replied, recovering quickly from his initial disappointment and confusion. He raised a hand and adopted an expression of deep thought. He enjoyed being dramatic when it came to his pranks. After all, they did consist of the vast majority of his time. "Our mission today is one that has never successfully been done before. Are you ready to hear what difficult, no, impossible task we have?" Thanyos asked, leaning closer to his two cohorts.

His regular grin morphed into the one when his trickster mind was turning, the very edges of his teeth visible between his lips. If one looked into his eyes, you could see a bright gleam in them. Thanyos was very, very, serious when it came to his pranks. And this was one was a life-long dream for the being.

"We are going to steal tonight's dessert and eat it all by ourselves."

Rosa had decided to go back to the bedroom to change out of her soiled clothing, having flour, melted chocolate and who knows what else on her dress and face. Walking into the pale green bedroom Rosa immediately went into the small on suite bathroom she and the other girls shared. She quickly cleaned up, stripping off her summer dress and replacing it with pair of faded blue jeans, a light blue blouse and white ballet flats. She also took notice that Sara was now gone. Rosa grabbed her worn out book, a horror mystery novel, and left the bedroom and continued her search for Thanyos but quickly stopped by the kitchen again to grab a couple of extra cookies.

It took her a little while of wondering the rich colored halls of the manor but she finally found him with Doll and Kiku. "Hello" she called out once she reached them, noticing the devilish glint in Thanyos's blue eyes, she knew that look. That trickster was planning something. Him and his darn pranks. Rosa's mentally sighed at the boy before her attention then focused on Doll and she smiled brightly at the younger blonde girl.

"Hi Doll, I set up your section of the room so you can move your things in now" Rosa told her kindly then took a bite of her cookie. "Want one? Their chocolate chip and fresh from this morning" Rosa offered, holding out a cookie for her. Then she turned to Thanyos and held out the other cookie she had "You will have to spilt it with Kiku" she told him, knowing the boy wouldn't take sharing his sweets well. He basically lived off sugar. 'Sugar, spice and everything sneaky.....okay that was lame even for me, jeez' her thoughts were as lame as her jokes, dry and humorless. In a way Thanyos parents had paired them well, Rosa having a sense of humor but was horrible at being funny and Thanyos being a childish prankster. Rosa couldn't help but like Thanyos cause he was the only one who has made her laugh in along time. "Sorry I couldn't grab more I only made enough for dinner, these smaller ones are made from leftover dough" she informed them while breaking the cookie in half and placing it to the boys before placing the other whole cookie in Doll's hand.

"So what evil plots are you planning?" she asked glancing back over at Thanyos.

Kiku felt the slightest sense of worry creep up on him when he saw Thanyos blink a few times, presumably in surprise. Did he make a wrong move? Thanyos seemed to get along with Doll so far, so he figured that it would be a good idea to ask her to join in. Of course, it was the first time they had invited someone else in on their pranks, as most of the time people would be trying to run after or away from them. Definately not with them. With Thanyos’s mood swings, it made him quite nervous to think of what might happen if he reacted strongly to that idea. Kiku wasn’t as calming a presence as his elder brother Zero. Thankfully, his smile came back again, despite being a little confused. He made a mental reminder not to surprise him next time.

"Well if there's going to be three of us then I have a special little prank to pull today,"Kiku grinned at his expression of deeply thinking. His brother was back to his dramatic and mischievous self. "Our mission today is one that has never successfully been done before. Are you ready to hear what difficult, no, impossible task we have?" Thaynos continued, leaning closer to them and raising the tense atmosphere. One could almost see the gears of his mind turning when his eyes gained a bright gleam and his grin widened to reveal his sharp canines.

"We are going to steal tonight's dessert and eat it all by ourselves." Kiku’s eyes widened with surprise and anticipation. This was a prank that they had been planning to execute for years, and never succeeded. Not to mention it might incur the wrath of Fuko. Still, she ought to be prepared for this to happen sooner or later with them around. This was going to be a prank to remember if they succeed.

"Hi Doll, I set up your section of the room so you can move your things in now""Want one? Their chocolate chip and fresh from this morning" "You will have to split it with Kiku" "Sorry I couldn't grab more I only made enough for dinner, these smaller ones are made from leftover dough" Rosalinda, Thaynos’s maid joined their little trio, causing him to step back subconciously. If there’s one person he didn’t want on his back, it would be her. Even Zero, the usual peacekeeper of their pranks, wasn’t so easily agitated like the woman with fiery hair. Not to mention the fact that she doesn’t hesitate to scold them either. All factors considered, it was as good as a BEWARE! EASILY FLAMMABLE sign slapped over her.

Wait, was she trying to make them split the cookie? A look of annoyance flashed across his eyes, vanishing as quickly as it entered. He was awfully particular about his sweets. But again, it wasn’t a death penalty not to give him his full share, or at least that was what his father told him. Instead, he opted for a sickly sweet smile. “Thany can take it.” Again, his polite way of dealing with things kicked in as he handed his half to Thaynos. "So what evil plots are you planning?" He stifled a soft sigh as he waited. Patience is the key to dealing with unwanted obstructions.

"I’m going to take a nap. Call me when something happens."

Dɪᴀʟᴏɢᴜᴇ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✦ Metallic Mint--#37FDFC || Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✧ Teal--#008080

Thanyos was just about to explain his brilliant master plan when his human, one Rosalinda, appeared out of what seemed like nowhere to the unobservant being. To add insult to injury, she just ignored him and focused on Doll, Kiki's human. I'm right here you know, I can see you. Thanyos thought, making a face. He didn't interrupt, partially because he hoped that Rosa would give Doll some reason not to join in on the prank. Then again, it did require three people…

"I want a cookie too!" Thanyos half shouted as Rosa gave a medium-sized cookie to her fellow human. His face fell as the redhead informed him that he'd have to share with Kiki. Even though he liked his brother (after all, nobody else would join in his pranks and two minds were way better than one when it came to causing chaos), he didn't like sharing his sweets with anyone. "But you gave Doll a full one," Thanyos complained, cheeks puffing out as he complained. The being looked at the half cookie in his hand. It wasn't even his favorite kind. It was just a stupid chocolate chip. His favorite was, to nobody's surprise, sugar.

Of course Thanyos was quickly lifted from his bad mood when Kiki handed his half to Thanyos. The green-haired being used Thanyos' nickname and was, indeed, one of the few allowed to call him Thany. When anyone else, including his other siblings, called him that they would soon find themselves on the receiving end of one of his more mean pranks.

"Thanks, Kiki. I'll pay you back, promise." In this case the method of payment would be getting a larger share than usual out of the stolen desserts, but Thanyos didn't bother making that distinction in front of the girls. He wasn't worried about what Doll would say; she was far too mild mannered to do anything to stop them and she probably wouldn't tell anyone either. It was Rosa he was concerned about. She was a firecracker to say the least. Thanyos liked her, though, if only because it was fun to run rings around her and drag her into his more insane games.

In this case it was time to run rings around her while dragging her into one of his games, but that was just how Thanyos liked things. And if she couldn't keep up… Well, that was her own fault. It didn't matter to him if she thought it was boring or stupid or whatever, she didn't have a choice. That was the best part about having a human, Thanyos had decided. They couldn't really do anything against you. Unless you're Fuko's human… Now that one was a loud-mouth and a bit crazy, if you asked Thanyos, but the being thought Atticus was entertaining at least.

"What makes you think we're up to something?" Thanyos asked, casually leaning against the wall. He tried adopting an equally calm smile but his eyes were still bright and it was clear that he had plans. "Maybe we just are going to play a game together. Actually," Thanyos straightened up, pretending that this hadn't been in his mind the whole time, "we could use another player. You're game, right? I promise it won't be like last time." The time before, in this case, had involved an interesting twist on the human game Twister with elements of Candy Land. If you asked anyone, they would have no idea how he had come up with it.

"Now that I think about it, four would be the perfect number." Thanyos practically beamed at Rosa. He ate a whole half of the cookie in one bite and chewed it thoughtfully, swallowing before he spoke again. "Yep, my mind's made up." Thanyos grabbed Rosa's hand and grinned. "You're gonna play with us!" With that, Thanyos took off down the stairs, starting to drag Rosa behind him. "Follow me!"

Doll had been contemplating this prank since Thanyos spoke, wondering if this wasn't a prank so much as a crime. They were stealing a cake and even if it was their family's property Doll still felt wrong. If things went south they could always blame her and no doubt the mother would believe them as what mother wanted to think that her two sons were devils? If it came to that though Doll believed Dr. Atarashi would come to her defense, after all he knew her and he wouldn't let her get kicked off the property... Right? There was a limit to how far someone's kindness could extend and Doll didn't want to test it.

Rosa, Thanyos's human showed up then. She seemed annoyed about something although Doll couldn't quite put her finger on it. "I'm supposed to sleep in the office until Dr. Atarashi gives me the okay," Doll twisted the hem of her skirt in her hands seemingly a bit nervous. Talking to others was not her forte and she didn't want to offend Rosa in anyway. "B-but thank you!" The girl blurted, quick to remember her please's and thank you's. She looked at the sweet offered and while tempting, Doll figured that if she ate it she would have no room for the cake they were plotting to steal.

The girl was about to refuse but Rosa didn't seem to take no for an answer, she pushed the cookie into Doll's hand, making the younger girl take it. "Thank you," Doll mumbled and looked down at the baked good. "You can have it, I don't really want to spoil my appetite," Doll held out the cookie to Kiku, hoping the offering would make him happy. "N-not to say that they're bad or anything, I just don't want to e-eat anything before lunch!" There was only so much food her tiny stomach could handle and after the big breakfast Grell had prepared Doll this morning she was still full.

"We weren't playing anything evil," Doll shook her head, hoping this wasn't a lie. Doll didn't think stealing tonight's dessert was really that horrifying of an act, after all she had been with a master whose idea of pranks involved bloodied limbs and sending people to the hospital. She had many scars from this Being, he was the one who had made Doll be deemed unstable. The thought of him made her legs shake and Doll covered it up by leaning against the wall and outwardly sighing. The blonde eyed Thanyos up and down before turning to look at Kiku, before he said three was the perfect amount, now four? Maybe he remembered how big dessert was and realized they didn't have enough people to consume it all? Regardless the reason Doll pushed off the wall, "Are you coming Master?" Doll asked before turning to Thanyos who had instructed them to follow him. Like lambs lining up for the slaughter...

"Thanks, Kiki. I'll pay you back, promise." Kiku's mood lifted considerably and he reached out to give his favorite brother a quick hug. "Thany, you're the best!" He chirped cheerfully, throwing his annoyance to the wind. He wasn't the type to linger on those negative emotions, feeling that those just drag you down. And he wasn't going to let anything ruin his good mood permanently.

"You can have it, I don't really want to spoil my appetite. N-not to say that they're bad or anything, I just don't want to e-eat anything before lunch!" He tilted his head quizzically as Doll offered him her share of the cookie, stammering slightly. Was she afraid that he would hurt her? His father didn't tell him much about the girl's past, but from the way she acts seems to reveal a lot about how she has been treated. It was fascinating, how the way humans act are affected by their past experiences. "You can have it Dolly," He told her, before hesitating for a few seconds before continuing. "Unless you really mean it... I haven't had breakfast yet." To say the truth, he wasn't too hungry most of the time, and human meat tasted terrible and sour. It was considered a luxury and he often felt compelled to try it out of the fact that it was actually bought for them, but he never really enjoyed it. The substitute tasted much better in comparison.

He took the cookie from her in the end, after some consideration. Doll didn't seem like the type to lie about matters like that but again, he might be wrong. In any case, he was craving for something sweet and lunch wouldn't be coming anytime soon. "Thanks Dolly, don't tell Thany though, I still want the reward." The tips of his mouth raised in a childish smile as he leaned closer to whisper in her ear discreetly, pulling away quickly afterward.

"Actually, we could use another player. You're game, right? I promise it won't be like last time." Shock passed by like a ripple in the golden pools of his eyes, taking a while for them to turn into their normal calm state. Thanyos had never tried to invite anyone new into their pranks. Yet, it was rare that they decided to let anyone into their pranks in the first place. Before the humans came, it was just the two of them planking on unsuspecting family members and staff before running away and feeling the thrill of adrenaline in their veins. Things were different when the humans came into their lives now, whether it was for better or for worse.

"Yep, my mind's made up." And... That seals the deal. Even he would have a hard time talking Thanyos out of something he felt certain on, not to mention he knows how much he hates it when other people do the same to him. Still, he wasn't going to have to take care of them if they don't keep up with the speed and intensity of their pranks. No, looking at them struggle to catch up would be part of the fun. A gleam was in his golden eyes now, temporarily causing him to have the same air as his sister.

"Are you coming Master?" Doll's words snapped him out of his thoughts as he looked up abruptly only to see Thanyos take off with his human in tow. "Can you catch up?" He asked her quickly. There was hardly any time left before Thanyos was going to vanish from his sight. His brother acted fast and efficiently, and he was going to use everything he could to keep up. This was a prank he wasn't going to miss for the world. "Sorry, but let's go!" Kiku ran after Thanyos at top speed, holding Doll's wrist tightly. He was half-leading, half-dragging the girl, but now all his sights were set on following Thanyos to the kitchen.

"Really, I don't want it." Doll was glad when he accepted the cookie, his mood seeming to perk up instantly. "I promise, I won't tell anyone," Doll said, glad that they were getting along. Kiku smiled then and she wasn't sure if he was grateful or scheming but nevertheless Doll matched his smile with one of her own. His expression quickly turned and for a second Doll wondered what was going through his mind, he didn't seem to like the possibility that Rosa would be joining in the prank although to Doll it only seemed fair since she was tagging along.

"Yeah," she nodded her head in response to his question. Doll could run just fine, she believed herself to be fast although compared to Beings Doll wasn't sure. Her speed was swift for a human, but if Kiku had something like super speed she would never be able to keep up. The fact that they were so similar in appearance and yet were enormously different never ceased to amuse and annoy her. Just when Doll believed herself to be good at something a Being would step forward and be ten times better than her at it. This irked the human to no end as it made her feel... Worthless. One of her greatest fears was being seen as having no value, holding no weight in this world. That's why Doll worked extra hard to prove her worth.

Kiku grabbed Doll's wrist then and began running. Surprisingly she could keep up and although Doll stumbled on the carpet a few times she managed to keep pace with Kiku, if not a bit behind him. It looked as though they were going to the kitchen and Doll's notions were confirmed when they stopped in front of the door. Grell was out, she had seen him leave this morning to take care of a few things. Probably shopping for dinner no doubt. Would tonight's dessert even be ready now? Or would they stake out until Grell was finished and steal whatever it was then?

"The world isn't so bad if people were thankful for the fact that they're alive. Then again, are you really alive? Are we living, or simply surviving?"

"Hey."

Sara was grateful that she hadn't woken her Master. She'd had bad experiences with little mistakes like that, and it wasn't the nicest thought she could've had at that moment in time. Sara was grateful that Zero was such a calm person. It helped her feel more at ease, and she never seemed to feel uncomfortable in the shared silence that often surrounded the pair.

There were voices sounding down the hall, and Sara concluded that most of the others were awake. At the moment Thanyos and Rosa's voices were the most prominent, and if she listened closer she could hear Kiku. Judging from Kiku's words she assumed Doll was also with them. I wonder what they're all up to... Probably another prank.

Sara began to wonder why no one ever seemed to punish the two boys for starting so much trouble. There had been a prank almost every day since she'd started living with the Atarashi family, yet neither of the parents seemed to pay any heed to the wild antics of their children. Then again, Beings weren't Humans, so perhaps they just didn't mind it all.

"Sara walk with me."

Sara snapped from her thoughts and rushed to follow Zero, who was walking off down the corridor. He had his cell phone out and seemed to be calling someone. Her suspicions were soon confirmed.

"Grell, yeah it's me, what are you preparing for tonight's dessert?"

A small hint of surprise crossed Sara's face as she unintentionally eaves dropped on the conversation her Master was having. Zero simply didn't seemed to be the type of person who would enjoy sweets, so it was slightly confusing as to why he'd be calling Grell to ask about tonight's dessert.

"Red velvet, appetizing, mmm, go ahead and continue that as planned but there's also something I'd like you to do for me. How familiar are you with the Coconut Haupia? I hear it's a Hawaiian favorite."

Haupia? Sara recognized the term as a Hawaiian food, she'd read about it in a book once. It was apparently a coconut dessert made out of coconut milk and sugar. She wondered why Zero would be asking about it. Was it secretly delicious? She'd never been able to try it before and in this moment she'd become curious. Guess all that's left to do is wait...

Thanyos was certainly not your typical being, nor did he think the way the rest of his siblings. He led them to the kitchen, barely surprising a shout or two of excitement, while his mind was reeling with possibilities. He honestly had no intention of letting Rosa into their prank because, well, she would probably mess it up or tell someone and that would ruin all the fun. But he still wanted to include her somehow, distract her at the very least, and that was a hard enough task in of itself. After all, the most important part of being a good prankster was being willing to wait and be patient… Unfortunately for Thanyos, and luckily for the rest of the household, he was not very good at the patient bit.

Maybe get her to "help" by getting supplies? No, then I'd have to explain why I needed it all... As he was running, Thanyos frowned. It was a rare sight on his face and nobody else saw it because it was gone in an instant, replaced by his usual carefree grin. I'll come up with something, the being thought to himself. I always do. After only a few minutes of running, thanks to the speed that Thanyos put into his mad dash for the kitchen, the small group arrived outside the side door.

There were two ways into the kitchen; one of them was mainly used by the servants and the humans. It was out of the way and was a convenient swinging door, so anyone carrying trays or plates didn't have to use their hands to push it open. The other door was much nicer and was placed so the beings could go in and out without having to cross through all the equipment that was in the kitchen. It was what Thanyos usually used when he wanted a quick snack (read: lots of candy to keep him extra hyper while planning particularly poignant pranks).

"Now that we have arrived at our target destination we can begin. But first, there is something extremely important I must address." Thanyos looked at his brother and then at the two humans. None of them were out of breath, which some part of his mind admired. Not everyone could keep up with him after all. But the majority of his mind was too busy plotting. Then again, it always was so that wasn't anything new. "The kitchen is an impenetrable fortress that has claimed many lives in attempts to enter its walls, and because of that we must plan accordingly. Thanyos smirked and dashed away, heading for what passed as his room. "To the HQ!" He shouted rather unnecessarily.

He did this every time he had a tricky prank, and Kiki had come to almost expect it from him. This dessert heist was going to be one of the biggest pranks that Thanyos had ever pulled in his glorious career, and he was not about to screw it up.

They had just reached the kitchen, stopping short so as not to hit Thanyos. Doll was released of Kiku's grip and she subtly rubbed her wrist, proud of herself for being able to keep up and only stumbling once or twice. The door to the kitchen swung open and a head poked out to see what all the racket was about. "Hello Mr. Grell," Doll bowed slightly, quick to remember her manners. He waved his spatula in greeting at the human before turning to the boys and frowning at the two. "Would you mind playing your games elsewhere? I'm trying to cook." He shooed them all once more before returning into the depths of the kitchen.

They stood there for a beat or two more before Thanyos declared that there was something he must address. Doll leaned in, intrigued as to what he could be speaking of. She giggled at what she assumed was a joke and noticed the other two weren't laughing so Doll quickly stifled whatever laugh tried to bubble up and listened with a serious expression. Then they were off again, running towards what Thanyos had referred to as his HQ.

They reached Thanyos's bedroom quite quickly, it was a mess of pillows and blankets like he had tried to build a fort and failed and the cleaning staff hadn't found the time to pick up after him yet. Having previously only been inside of Kiku's room the difference was startling. Where her Master kept his things tidy Thanyos had thrown most of his onto the floor. There were dirty dishes, half eaten sandwiches, and piles of laundry. It looked like a nuclear bomb had gone off in this space, taking all of the stuff with it. Doll was thinking about turning back, after all she was not really that invested yet so surely there was time? She caught sight of something then and moved from the doorway to pick up at the box in front of her.

Gingerly she turned it over in her hands. Doll had never learned to read so the letters meant nothing, but she figured this was the movie Thanyos had spoke of before. Top Gun? "Is this the movie you were talking about?" She turned, showing it to him. "Have you seen this Kiku?"

Kiku was impressed that Doll was up to par with his speed as they reached the side door to the kitchen. She is faster than most humans he met, and that is another factor to keep in mind if they ever decide to pull a prank on her. That is, if she even wanted to chase after them. Doll was meek and quiet, and he would hardly dream of a scenario where she could fight back against a possible assailant.

"Now that we have arrived at our target destination we can begin. But first, there is something extremely important I must address." His attention was caught then when Thanyos spoke, informing them that there was something that was vital. It was probably the planning bit of the whole prank. It would take time and effort, especially since they had never succeeded before. Grell took pride in his cooking, and they hardly gotten away with eating it by themselves.

Honestly. It was annoying that things get in the way, though it adds to the fun. One would think that they would slowly get used to the pranks, let alone try to resist. No wonder his father was so fascinated with human psychology.

"The kitchen is an impenetrable fortress that has claimed many lives in attempts to enter its walls, and because of that we must plan accordingly. To the HQ!" And there it was, the signal to act. With a gleeful smile dancing on his lips, he took Doll's hand again, making sure she doesn't fall back.

Thanyos's room was a mess as usual. Pillows scattered everywhere, dishes discarded, even food! It had obviously not been found by the cleaning staff yet, but as far as he remembered it was always in that state, no matter when he decided to pop in.

"Is this the movie you were talking about? Have you seen this Kiku?" Doll had discovered a box by the door, the words Top Gun written over it. Considering that she didn't know how to read, that in itself is a pretty amazing guess. "Yep! I have, several times." He didn't like the movie that much, but he had been dragged into watching it several times by Thanyos, in which he casually spotted faults and mistakes in his mind for fun.

Rosa felt slight annoyance as she was tugged around the manor, like a puppeteer pulling his puppets strings but instead it was Thanyos pulling on her arms making the pale skin reddened under his tight grasp. But with a rather bored expression Rosa followed, not really planning attention to her surrounds nor any conversations they were being taken place. It was when they entered Thanyos's pigsty of a room that she snapped back into reality. A groan bubbled in her throat and slipped from her lips as she looked around.

"Thanyos did I not just help you clean up yesterday? Jeez man what do you do in the span of a few hours!" Rosa grumbled, thinking about how much work she had put in to helping him clean. With a heavy sigh Rosa plopped down on his messy bed, placing her book which surprisingly hadn't fallen from her hand during their sprint and placed the paperback beside her before looking up at the small group with curious green eyes.

"So are you going to tell me what you're planning or leaving me in the dark?" she asked Thanyos, seeing as he was her master and the other two were speaking at the moment to one another. She didn't know why he couldn't tell her, it wasn't like she was some goody two shoes who would run and tattle on him just to get praise from his parents. In fact she wasn't very fond of any other Being in the household but Thanyos, being the fact that she spent most of her time with him. The thought that he trusted Doll more then her surprisingly bugged her, a dull sense of hurt jolted her from the inside.

'Why do I even care?' she thought, confused by the dull sense of hurt. 'When did he make me care? Curses!' she growled at her own feelings, annoyed by the new facts in her life. Rosa resisted the urge to glare at Thanyos, knowing he wouldn't understand why she was mad at him. With a deep sigh, which she seemed to be doing alot lately, Rosa looked over to Kiku and Doll and noticed a rather familiar looking title printed on the item in Doll's hands.

"Hey I know that movie, I've never seen it but my grandpa was a really movie lover, he had action movie posters hung up everywhere in his and grandma's room" Rosa told them, a light smile appearing on her usually stoic or annoyed face. Her happiest memories were with her grandparents and she couldn't help but smile when she thought of them. But the smile quickly faded as she remembers her last moments with them. When the Being's took away her family and burned the only home she ever knew. Her memories left a bitter feeling but she forced the down quickly. Rosa has never been one to express herself visually but her mother told her that her eyes showed her emotions clearly. If that was true she really needed to work on her control.

"So are you needing me to help you with anything?" she asked. Why would he bring her here if he wasn't going to include her on the prank. This boy never makes any sort of sense.

Slang, a pretty but expressionless or unintelligent woman. I.e. "She's nothing more than a doll."

"Kiku... I-I'm scared. I-I don't know what's going on." Doll said into the camera as soon as the gag was removed from her mouth. She wasn't sure how long she had been here, there were no windows so she had no sense of time. All Doll knew was that she had to go to the bathroom and that Grell was dead. His blood still stained her pajamas, Doll had been standing close by when he was shot. The two had been tracing constellations in the garden when a bullet met his head and his blood sprayed onto her. Doll had screamed and was quickly kicked in the side. She hadn't been killed because killing humans was illegal and somehow the government always knew when one of them died so they had taken Doll and she wasn't sure what her purpose here was.

Tears ran down her face as one of her captor's snaked his hand down her shirt. "I sure am going to have fun with my new toy," he said into the camera, removing his hand and pulling at a strand of hair that had gotten loose from her ponytail. He sniffed it greedily, watching the lens that was supposedly a live feed to the Atarashi household. "Anything else you want to tell your dear master?"

"It's a trap!" Doll screamed as tears continued to flow. "Don't come! They're going to hurt you!" She felt the butt of a gun hit her head again and the chair toppled over, leaving Doll on her side. They rushed to turn the camera off, leaving a quick message that they should come with the requested money if they ever wanted to see her again. Doll was glad she had warned him, she would do it again if she had to. "Stupid human," Doll was grabbed by her hair, the one in the panda mask gripping her locks tightly and pulling Doll up. "I'll make you regret that," panda mask whispered, dropping her. Doll couldn't catch herself because her hands were tied to the back of the chair and so she fell to the ground once more, her jaw connecting with the concrete. "You won't get away with this," Doll growled. She was feeling rather brave after that although she was still shaking.

"Oh yes we will," panda left then along with fox and rabbit, leaving Doll alone on the ground. She blinked the rest of the tears away, glad that she had warned Kiku. Doll had been in the Atarashi household nearly a month now, she had learned how to get around Fuko's door without alerting her that she was there, she had discovered that Zero had a soft side for Sara and had been forced to watch Top Gun with Thanyos, Kiku, and Rosalinda. Doll had been rather enchanted by the film but the others acted as though it didn't impress them. Doll had also learned that she and Atticus had lived in the same zoo, although they had never seen each other and talked for hours about everything and anything. The collar had been removed, she had moved in with Sara and Rosalinda, she had made so many wonderful memories and the thought of them all made her smile.

At least they were safe, if anyone had to be taken and beaten up Doll was glad it was her. Her friends would be able to sleep easy. They might worry for a while, they may not give her a second thought, but Doll was happy that they were alive and well. Doll was resigned to her fate, she would probably die here in the tiny cell underground but at least there were people with memories of her, evidence she had lived and Doll couldn't have asked for more.

She awoke to darkness, Doll's need to go to the bathroom had become urgent and she rubbed her knees together in an attempt to make the feeling go away. "Excuse me!" Doll called, hoping she could be heard through the thick metal door. "I have to use the restroom!" Doll called twice more before the door finally opened. "Shut up!" Rabbit growled and pulled Doll up. He grabbed the back of the chair and dragged it out, leading Doll down a series of hallways lit by candles. Finally they entered another room and stopped. Rabbit locked the door and untied her from the chair. "Don't try anything," he said and turned around to give her some privacy.

It was a relief and soon Doll was back in the first room. She was retied to the chair and left alone once more. Doll had dozed off again, awaking when Fox came with a bottle of water. As far as doll could tell Fox was female and held the bottle to Doll's lips as she drank greedily. She hadn't realized how dry her tongue had felt until her thirst was quenched and water spilled out of the bottle and onto her lap, but Doll didn't care. Her hunger pangs silenced as well and as Fox left Doll uttered a quiet, "thank you."

The next time Doll awoke she was curled up in the corner of a dark space. Doll lifted her arms and found that it was hardly bigger than a packing box. She could feel the heavy chains weighing her arms down and tying her ankles together. Panic seized her, it was completely dark. "Let me out!" Doll screamed, banging against the metal walls. "Please, I won't try anything! Please I-I hate the dark!" Doll choked on her words. They didn't care, there was no one listening and she cried until she was asleep again.

Days passed, that was all Doll knew. She had lashed out when Panda slid his hand down her shirt again and so they had taken her pajamas, leaving Doll to shiver in her underwear in that tiny metal box. If Doll was good she got to be in the room, in front of the camera that was always watching her, supposedly connected to one of the computers in the Atarashi household. The weight she had gained there was quickly being shed and she grew weak as days passed. The fire in her had died out and the only time Doll fought was when Panda came. She would not give into him so easily.

Doll felt like a shell, she did nothing except lay on the floor, sometimes at her side, sometimes on her back, always staring at the ceiling. Sometimes when she shifted the chains would jingle and she would imagine it was really the keys in the door, that it was Kiku and he hadn't listened to her warnings and came to save her. Why would he though? Surely Doll was easily replaceable? Surely she had meant nothing to Kiku... It stung to think this but it was the only way that Doll could detach herself from the hope that they were coming-that he was coming. There were no more tears she could shed and the cold against her bare skin no longer bothered her. Doll had finally made peace with death, the end was close for her and then... Then what? Would she meet her parents in heaven? Would she find a community of humans in the sky that had met untimely deaths like hers? Or would it be eternal blackness? Doll closed her eyes, imagining that she was back home, it wasn't her home of course, but it was the closest thing to a home she had, had and so Doll thought about Atticus and Thanyos, Zero and Sara, Rosalinda, Grell, Dr. and Mrs. Atarashi, and of course she thought about Kiku. She thought of his voice when he read to her, how he would sometimes pretend to be the character or would read super slowly to add dramatic effect. The last book he had read aloud to her was the Wizard of Oz and occasionally Doll would think that she was Dorothy and this was just a bad dream, but every time she woke up it was either in that tiny dark metal box or in the room underground.

Once in a while Doll would say something to the camera, she would tell Kiku not to worry, that it would be over soon and she would thank Dr. Atarashi for all he had done, more than once Fox or Rabbit had come to the door and yelled at her to shut up. More than once Doll had attempted to strangle herself with the chains to make the end come faster, but they would come running and stopped her by throwing her in the box where there was no room to do such a thing and Doll began to believe that the camera wasn't connected to the main computer in the Atarashi house but to some sort of security room where her captors could watch her.

No one ever came for her. Doll began to crave what little human interaction she got through Fox and Rabbit, she even began to look forward to when Panda visited. Last time he came Doll had bit him and she was satisfied with the scream she had drew from that ugly sounding man. Sometimes they would toss her a piece of bread, one time they had even given Doll a slice of leftover pizza but the food hadn't agreed with her and she had spent the night on her side, quivering in pain and vomiting what little food she had in her stomach. It was worth it though, Doll would eat it again if it was offered. They had begun handling her with kid gloves and so she hadn't gotten anything but water for the next few days. Doll still had yet to get her clothes back, Rabbit had sort of hinted that they threw them out and Doll wasn't sure why. She didn't care anymore though because her body was numb and had gotten used to the pain and cold, the chains digging into her skin no longer bothered her and all she did really was sleep or talk to herself. It was boring, but Doll kept reassuring herself that it wouldn't be like this much longer. Soon she would be with Mom and Dad.
