a character in “Little House of Horrors”, originally authored by Roku Mushabuki, as played by RolePlayGateway

Description

Name: Sir Hans Van Klauverstein

Image

Nickname: N/A

Character: Lycanthrope Three

Species: Were-Bear

Age: 18 in appearance. (1,068 in supernatural)

Physical Appearance: Hans stands at 6'1'' and weighs 198 pounds. He wears an oak cross around is neck and a golden ring that is family heirloom on his right ring finger. He owns many scars on his chest, back and arms that he has gained through many battles.

Personality: Hans' entire nature has been based on religion and aristacratic behavior. Since he was a child he was told to devote himself to God. Naturally he acts like an extremist sometimes and goes as far as killing a person in a dual. He is an honor based man who does not like to back down from a challenge, but will fight dirty if he is outmatched or outnumbered. That he hates even more than backing down.

When Hans gained lycanthropy he did not think of it as an affliction but as a blessing from God. He likes to go out to hunt at night to lay off stress. He opposes becoming a literal beast though. Rather liking to be in human form then in a hybrid form.

Likes: catholicism, hunting, attending church, bravery, hunting, fighting, sports, and weapons.

Dislikes: Pagans, vampires, atheists, selfishness, and cowards.

History: Hans grew up in a noble family in the Black Forest. There he enjoyed many of the luxeries that the upperclass usually enjoyed. That included hunting parties. One trip they were to kill a bear in the forest but during the hunt Hans was mauled by the bear and the bear fled after being shot by several arrows. It probably died somewhere in the wild from it's wounds. The following nights were strange for Hans as he began to change to beast. Eventually he came to realize what he had become and took it as a blessing from God.

Soon enough regions all over started to war over land. A mighty country called the Holy Roman Empire was formed. Hans had fought in the conflict believing that God willed him to use his gift to give him mighty strength on the battlefield. His identity had changed many times over the centuries. Each time wealthier than the last. Time had passed over him for centuries until he eventually decided to stop the wondering. He was on a hunting trip in Alaska when he received a letter in town that was delivered to him. It was about some reality show that had been held for supernatural beings. Hans decided that perhaps it would be best to go to a place that had others like himself.

Other: He has faught in a crusade, the Napoleonic wars, and participated in both World Wars on the side of Germany.

So begins...

Hans was uneasy on the ride to the camp. He never did like air travel no matter how convenient it was. The machine occasionally met wind and it rocked a bit, making him icredibly nervous. Eventually his craft landed near the camp. The Lycan jumped out as soon as he could to get his feet on solid ground. Breathing in the air he took in his surroundings before roaring with relief of being on Earth once again.

He looked around to see a group of people in a distance. Most were human but a few had a strange smell. He walked over to them. A moment later Hans reached the group. "So vich of you a in charge? I vould like to find my room. Es been a long night." He said aloud to any who would answer.

While Michaline had signed on to be apart of the reality show, she knew she was in for trouble the minuet she walked up to the lodge. Two Vampires, two humans, wlking blood banks, she assumed, and another Lycanthrope. She was tense, which would only grow worse, as more were sure to come. She sighed, keeping silent, her green eyes bouncing back and forth between the others. Finally her eyes narrowed, focusing on the other Lycan. A...bear? She sniffed. Yeah, he was...a bear.

Alex stepped off the plane, stretching as he did so. He took in everyone else, a little surprised. He hadn't expected so many to be at the lodge already. He loked at the man sitting ont he porch. "You're Anthony, right? The producer? I'm Alex. Who else is here?" He gazed at all the faces, intrest plain on his face. The girl with the green eyes seemed uncomfortable, the blonde was tired, the other four seemed to be paired, as if slave and master. That was amusing. Already he had all the faces memorized.

Patti picked at her chipped nail polish as the plane hopefully landed soon. That had to of been the most boring couple of hours af her life, she had read the magazine she brought with her three times and the gum she had brought had run out of flavour twenty minutes into the flight. So much for the lasting flavour it had advertised. Finally though the plane landed with a bump and Patti was able to leave. Pausing her music on her ipod and shoving it into her pocket she climbed out of the rickety plane. She wasted no time walking towards what she assumed was the lodge due to the fact it was the only kind of building she could see all around. As she went though she stretched herself out trying to get rid of any of the kinks her body may have still held from the flight. Patti took in a greedy gulp of fresh air during her stretching, intentionally causing a small momentary gust of wind.

Patti smiled lightly at the small group as she approached them. "Hey Guys, I'm Patti. Don't get on my bad side and we'll have blast," she said in a bluntly though there was an undertone of friendliness in her voice. "Now who's in charge?" She continued, wanting to find out what the place she would be staying in was like. Hopefully there wouldn't be to many rules or any of that shit or there would be serious problems. Oh, and she hoped the people were also pretty cool too.

Logan Bryce
Logan was pulled from his slumber by the small plane finally landing, Logan could only hope they were landing at their final destination. Thankfully they were at the lodge. Jumping out of the plane Logan had to physically stop himself from turning into his leopard form and sprinting off into the forest. That was the problem about being half animal, your animal side could never stand being contained for large amounts of time. Sighing though he swung his rug sack over his shoulder and walked towards the lodge.

"Hi everyone, I'm Logan I look forward to living with you guys," He said, introducing himself politely. He didn't really want to converse with this whole group of people, we was never good with groups but he at least knew when he had to man up and do it. Though immediately after her introduced himself he shuffled back to the outside area of the group. He kept quite and decided to wait until whoever was in charge spoke up and showed them to their rooms or whatever.

Anthony A. Leigh

Anthony looked around in delight at the rest who had arrived. He could name every one of them - besides Arthur, there were Aurelie and her blood source, Hans, Micheline, Alex, Patricia, and Logan. Anthony cleared his throat to get their attention. "Hey, all. I'm glad that you're here, but we have a couple more people who have yet to arrive. So why don't you sit down, make yourselves comfortable first? There's drinks in the kitchen, and we'll have an official introduction when everyone is here."

Anthony sat down on a chair and leaned back, smiling in a friendly way at the supernaturals.

Patti smiled lightly to the guy who was clearly in charge. He was the one she had talked to about this show but for the life of her she could not remember his name. Plonking herself down onto the seat next to him, she slipped off her shoes and tucked up her legs so she was sitting cross-legged. "Patti," she said bluntly towards him, holding out her hand to him.

"So when do we get to start claiming our rooms?" She continued looking across at all the supernaturals that had gathered around. There was no was she was getting stuck with the dodgey room. Pulling out a piece of gum from her pocket and placing it in her mouth she turned back to him. "Want one?" she asked simply, smiling lightly as him.

Logan Bryce
Logan nodded slightly as Anthony; he remembered his name from when they had talked earlier about this show, greeted everyone. After Anthony had finished he slowly and casually left the room they were all in and found himself in the kitchen. Remembering the Anthony had offered them drinks, he began searching for the glasses. After a few moments he found them and after looking through the fridge he decided on filling up his glass with water. He didn't really feel like much else at the moment, though he was really thirsty from the flight.

As Logan moved back into the room everyone was hanging out in, he picked himself a chair kind of far away from the pack. He was never really someone who wanted to be the center of attention of even near the spotlight. Allowing himself to relax back into the chair he watched everyone else in the room. There was the two obvious Lycans; Logan could tell from their smell. There was the pretty blonde, though she seemed really tense, a little how he felt inside with all these people around. Likewise was also the blonde dude, he was hard to read though.

Walking towards the lodge and taking small sips from a small opaque black flask she held in her hand, Tinsley smiled to herself. The flight had taken a while, and she was still considerably tired from the journey, but she was also very excited. Although, with regards to the sudden bursts of energy she was feeling...she couldn't quite tell if they were just from her mind, or caused by the red liquid that was at the very moment making it's way down her throat and into her system. In all honesty, she didn't really care.

"Hi," She said cheerfully as she stepped into the lodge and saw everyone else inside. "I'm Tinsley." She gave a bright smile, holding her bag over her shoulders, removing the large sunglasses she had been wearing over her eyes and putting them into her pocket, and giving a small wave as she took a look around.

Dean Holt

Arriving at the front door, Dean took a moment to shake off those plane jitters he usually got when landing. He still found it hard to believe that he accepted to actually be here. Taking a breath, gripping at the book bag he wore slung over a shoulder he reached for the gold plated door handle and pushed it open only to see that the house was just as huge inside than outside, it almost overwhelmed him, he wasn't used to seeing these luxuries up close and personal. Walking in, it was then that he noticed the others had already arrived. He didn't see Anthony or didn't try to look for him more like it. He more or less awkwardly stood by as he watched the others all gathered there, he didn't know why he felt a bit edgy around them but he figured it could be some effects of the flight mixing in with his nerves. And yet, his expression did very little to reveal this, he looked completely cool and indifferent. Maybe it was just seeing so many people here in once place that made him not want to approach so much.

Aurelie Craine

Aurelie was the first to notice the new comer and she wondered about him, he seemed to like to keep his distance and for some reason she found that most appealing. He was open game for him and she could care less if anyone caught her staring. She cat walked to the kitchen to fetch two tequila glasses to fill them up with whatever was set up on the counter noticing the dark bottle of Saxum James Berry Vineyard Paso Robles she quirked a brow impressed and poured herself a glass of that and for the fresh face. With that she walked right back out and approached him wearing a brilliant smile as she paused close to him and held out a glass toward him.

"Welcome, call me Aurelie, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." She purred, her smile softening her eyes as she tilted her head slightly to the side as if she could allure him with a simple gaze.

Sam Johnston

Sam watched them both, he didn't really care who Aurelie choose to flirt with, he actually anticipated her doing so, perhaps she would have eyes on anew man to suck on and maybe let him go? But that was a huge hope and he instinctively knew that it was easier wishing for that then it actually ever happening. She seemed to favor his blood, as if it were special or something, always feeding from him in pure delight whenever she felt like it and complimenting on how "good" he tastes, he really finds it disgusting but what can he do? She's gotten a firm grip on him and he can't run away. Crossing his arms he leaned against the wall wearing a slight frown at his situation, he wondered how long things would be this way.

Dean Holt

Dean tensed a little at the woman's sudden approach and at first he thought she was going for someone else but she then she stood directly in front of him with the glass of some alcoholic beverage offering it to him and introducing himself. Her smouldering look he couldn't quite hold and he ended up turning his gaze to the glass in which he took and mustered his best smile and clinked her glass before taking a sip. Might as well go along with it, "I'm Dean, thanks." He replied with a shrug, although she did look hot, something about her was different but he couldn't say what it was.

Aurelie Craine

Aurelie nodded and raised a brow as she echoed his name, "Dean, a face and name I won't forget...So what brings you here? Looking for some adventure, maybe even a little danger even hmm? Well, you've come to the right place." She sipped her glass of wine and finally looked around thinking about what they could be waiting for and of what exactly were they going to do after this little meeting was over. She then saw Tinsley introduce herself and she smiled over at her introducing herself before asking her if she'd tried the wine yet.

Michaline's yellow eyes surveyed everyone in the room as another person trickled in, people slowly mingled and began to drink wine. The smell made her upper lip curl. She never had ben a big fan of spirits of any kind. And then he entered; she knew imedeately by his scent and his demeanor that he was human, and unfamiliar with the supernatural world. So he was going to be the one they were trying to convince that they existed. Not really thinking about what she was doing, she curled her legs up underneath her, laying her head on her crossed hands, like a cat. Her yellow eyes danced as she watched the others in the room silently.

Alex smiled as he watched Michaline curl up, not unlike a cat. She was some sort of were-cat, of that much he was certain. Whatever the guy with the accent was, Hans, he thought the name was, he was something big. Logan, he guessed another cat, though he didn't seem as leery of the others as Michaline did. His grey eyes danced over her, and then at the others in the room. He stood up and went into the kitchen, coming back out with a glass of wine. Not his usual taste, but this wasn't bad, he had to admit. He smiled at Tinsley and Aurelie, but said nothing.

Hans stood up to the call before any other could. "I am Sir Hans Van Klauverstein. Krusader of ze Holy Roman Empire, proud soldier of ze German Konfederacy, und S.S. officer of ze Third Reich." He pronounced proudly. He was a prideful man with an even more prideful backround and to insult his past was to insult him. He has killed for things pettier than a mere insult so he was weary on any comments.

Patricia Carter
Patti listened to Anthony introduce himself, then Arthur, then Hans. Anthony seemed like a good enough guy, definitely sociable which is somewhat of a feat seeming as nine supernaturals were all listening carefully to his words. Arthur was alright; dazzling smile, but he seemed just a little bit to charming to Patti. Hans was austere for lack of better words, and the accent and proud past wasn't helping. No that, that meant Patti wouldn't talk to him, the opposite even, he seemed like he would know some pretty cool stories.

"Hey." Patti said, loud enough to make sure everyone in the room would hear her without her having to yell or sound out of control. She chose not to stand; deciding she had already gotten comfortable in the armchair she was sitting in. Though she did give a small wave to signal herself out to the group. "I'm Patti Carter, and I'm a Vortex Breather," She continued casually but confidently; finishing off her introduction with a small puff of air. Not enough to cause any damage or ruined hair but enough to blow lose strands of hair and ruffle baggy clothing. Just in case any one was wondering what exactly she meant by 'Vortex Breather.' Giving a tight smile and wave she relaxed back into her chair and waited for the others to introduce themselves.

Logan Bryce
Logan listened silently to everyone's introductions. Anthony gave the best impression in Logan's opinion, he definitely came across as friendly and someone Logan could see himself being friends with. Patti was next best, though not really close behind. She seemed confident and self-assured, and almost opposite to Logan though she seemed cool enough. Hans was, to be honest, a little off putting and strange, though hopefully Logan would have a chance to get to know him better as it wasn't everyday Logan met another Were-animal. Though he was pinning his hopes on the other girl being more, well, normal. Arthur's introduction made Logan's temper flare. While Logan is a nice guy, and he has no problem with vampire's, he has a serious problem with their 'walking blood banks.' It was already obvious to Logan that Arthur was someone he would not get along with. Humans, were not just around as blood sources, they had their own thoughts and feelings.

When Patti had finished introducing herself, Logan was already standing but he moved forward awkwardly and made a small coughing sound to get everyone's attention. No matter how how he tried, he was never the confident type that was able to grab people's attention with just their presence. "Hey guys, I'm Logan Bryce. I'm a Were-Leopard." He said simply before moving back to the fringe of the group. He was not someone who thrived on being in the limelight, he was and was happy being the background guy.

Michaline sighed. However, she didn't stand, she simply stayed put. "Name's Michaline Walker. I'm a were-panther, born over in England over two-hundred years ago." She had an almost bored tone to her voice, and she kept her eyes down while she spoke. The German was...annoying. He was so prideful about a title that meant nothing in this day and age. She had a feeling that she and him would butt heads quite a bit in the days to come. She really didn't have much opinion on the others yet. The producer seemed alright...for a human. He definitely had some nerve, being able to talk to them all like he was, knowing what they all were. Her yellow eyes finally rested on Alex, who seemed amused. That too was annoying, and despite herself, Michaline actually snarled at him, and snapped her teeth once. A warning. She started slight, realizing where she was.

Alex laughed softly when Michaline snarled at him. He then stood up. "How do you all do? My name is Alex Christopher Rawth. And, if you had to call me anything, I suppose you could call me an Absorber. My IQ is one-hundred and ninety-eight." He paused, unsure whether to tell them about his other gift. But, he figured there would be time for that later, if he told any of them at all. He gave a slight nod, and then sat back down.
