Laughed softly, and playfully nudged her. "i'm actually safe, when my watch beeps that means I have 40 minutes to drive to base. And it's a 30 minute drive." He winked down at her, unable to not laugh.

She shook her head. "Well, that's you; besides, you miss something, you can catch up. I don't get there on time, to feed the dogs, they get all mean..." She shrugged, and nudged him back. "It isn't too much a distance for me, really...but the time it takes to change once I get there, and make sure no one's missing, and everything..." Dogs had a set schedule for food, and only food, which she always found strange. But it meant that she'd have to be there in time to feed them at the normal time, and not later. "Some of those dogs're real picky, too...only like me feeding them..."

She giggled. "Oh, everything can hold grudges. My cat never liked my brother, and he could never figure out why. He just didn't remember shutting her in his little toy box for an hour. Dogs just don't hold grudges for as long as cats or most people." She shrugged. "Though they're only going to be mean until I feed them. They're like all dogs; give them atrea, and they're your best friend...until someone else feeds them."

Laughed, and nodded. "Alright then, as long as none of them just hate you for no reason. Cats are just weird at times." He glanced at his watch, he had a bit more time left before he had to absolutely leave without a question. He looked down at Songrose again, noticing how she looked in this light. It was very peaceful, the light was shining in through the window blinds which reflected around the room as per how physics operated. He liked this moment, and he was glad that Songrose was with him for it.

She laughed. "None of them hate me at all; never been bit on purpose. And cats aren't weird; they just have good memories, is all." She glanced at Ty, grinning. But that faded just a little bit when she realized he was looking at her. She was mainly glad for the peace at that point in time, but also that she wasn't on her own. Even if this was a new situation for her. She glanced away. "We probably don't have much longer before we have to move, do we?"

Continued to look into her eyes smiling softly. Things were natural with him right now. Without even thinking, Ty slowly leaned in to press his lips against her's. Unless she did anything to stop the action. He just couldn't stop thinking of how everything worked out for him. He was sad, depressed over the lost of one of his closest friends. But now, Songrose was here to cheer him up.

Songrose hesitated, but didn't bother to stop him. She was only surprised how everything had turned out. She had only been trying to make him feel better...she hadn't expected this. At least, not this far, this fast. Though it didn't necessarily seem like a bad thing, either.
