"Somebody please entertain me!"

0 · 449 views · located in Marshallville, Canada

a character in “Looking for fame”, as played by Dreamalot106

Description

ImageLast name:
”Don’t ask me what it means or where it’s from, because I have no idea.”
Barkla

First name:
”You can just call me Cal. That is -after- I get to know you.”
Callie Jayne

Age:
”Living in the best years.”
24

Sex:
”You’d think these mounds on my chest would make it kind of obvious.”
Female

Height:
”Above average, just the way I like it. And I still wear heels on top of it.”
5’7 ½”

Weight:
”Don’t you know it’s rude to ask a woman what she weighs?”
152lbs

ImagePersonality:
”People tend to call me a bitch, but that’s just because they don’t know me. Wow. How cliché did that sound?”
Callie’s somewhat of a standoffish person; she keeps people at arms distance – or more. It’s how she keeps herself safe. Not a shy person in the least, Callie has no problem striking up a conversation with the person in line next to her at the supermarket. (Or walking up to a guy she finds attractive and straight up asking for his telephone number. She has done that on multiple occasions.) Her sense of humor is somewhat skewed, leaning to a darker and more vulgar pint of view than most. Conversations can sometimes get awkward when paired with her trademark frankness. (Callie’s also been known to tell a girl or two or twenty that something on her outfit does not match, is out of season, or is just plain ugly smack in the middle of a conversation. Where’s that filter when you need it, right?) Callie’s not one to “beat around the bush” and prefers to immediately get to the point of what it is that needs to be said. It annoys her to no end when someone takes forever getting to their main topic of discussion.

Over the years, Callie has been told that she can be, well, overdramatic. (Perhaps that’s the reason she enjoys reality tv shows so much.) While Callie has never denied this attribute, she has never openly admitted it either. Callie can sometimes get overly excited and start talking really, really fast. She’ll stumble over her words and have to back track. Even though she back-tracks she still ends up not making too much sense except to those used to it. This happens primarily only when she is hyper or drunk.

Likes:
+ Sarcasm
”I’ve been told I have a fairly quick tongue. Whether that’s a good or bad thing, I don’t know. Sometimes it comes in handy.”
+ Caramel
”The stickier the better.”
+ Vodka
”I prefer my martinis stirred. Sorry Bond.”
+ Chewing Gum
”It keeps me from just entirely eating my bottom lip off. My therapist told me I have a ‘oral fixation.’”
+ High Heels
”I always wanted to be 5’10” by the time I stopped growing. Since that didn’t happen, I just wear heels all the time.”
+ Pomegranates
”They’re one of the messiest fruits to eat, but man are they delicious.”
+ Perfume/Cologne
”I love smelling good, and I love people who also care about smelling good. I’m a sucker for expensive cologne on a man.”

Dislikes:
- Whiskey
”The darkest alcohol I drink is gold tequila.”
- Cigarettes
”They age you and make you smell disgusting. You will never see me touch one.”
- Cheap Perfume/Cologne
”That Bath & Bodyworks stuff isn’t going to cut it.”
- Popcorn
”It’s so aggravating when the stuff gets stuck in your teeth. I just quit eating it all together.”
- Bad Sex
”I hate that disappointing feeling afterwards of not having your craving fulfilled.”
- Horror Movies
”No not even all the cuddling in the world during the movie would make me watch a horror movie. Not ever again.”
- Hallucinogens
”I tried that stuff once. Let me tell you, it was not a fun experience.”

Why you should be on our show:
”Let’s just say… I’m looking for a good thrill.”
Callie’s guilty pleasure at home has always been watching reality tv shows, so when the chance came for her to be a part of one, naturally she jumped at it. Plus, she’s been really bored at home. (And though she won’t admit this to anyone, Callie still hasn’t quite gotten over her last break up.)

Callie stared boringly at the gleaming white house outside the car window. The light reflecting off the house windows hurt her eyes. The place looked like it belonged on the coast, in Miami or Malibu, not in the middle of Marshallville, Canada.

"Miss Barkla? I, uh, think we're here," the bald-headed driver said over his shoulder.

"No shit, Sherlock," Callie muttered as she unbuckled. She dug her wallet out of her over-sized purse and passed a tip up to the driver. He quietly thanked the raven haired young woman and popped the trunk. Callie flipped her sunglasses back down over her eyes and got out of the car, stepping to the trunk. She packed lightly - only two suitcases and a carry-on. Callie was impressed with herself. Had she had more time to pack she probably would've brought more with her, but the show producers only gave her two days to pack and travel from her New York City flat to the site of the show.

"Umpf," the older man grunted quietly as he pulled Callie's luggage out of the trunk. Callie smoothed out the skirt of her black dress, adjusted her purse on her shoulder, then grabbed the handle of her carry-on bag. The wheels clattered loudly, drowning out the clicks of her Roberto Cavallis as she made her way from the car to the door. The driver struggled behind with her suitcases.

Stepping through the doors of the white house that was to be home for the next several months, Callie did not expect to walk into the middle of a meet-and-greet. She stopped short of the long-haired guy holding a bag that was most likely not his and flipped her sunglasses back atop her head. Not wishing to take part in this introduction grouping just yet, Callie merely walked around the trio and immediately towards the stairs.

"I assume our bedrooms are upstairs? Has anyone even bothered to look? Doesn't matter. I just want one with a view," Callie said over her shoulder as she climbed up the steps, carry-on in hand. The driver politely excused himself around the small group and dragged the young woman's matching suitcases to the bottom of the steps. He looked at the staircase in despair and breathed a heavy sigh. He definitely didn't get paid enough for this.

Anastasia Colby

Anastasia watched everybody, very displeased. She counted everyone as they came in and assumed that everyone was accounted for before throwing her bags into a room and people watching further. She hadn't said hi to any of the new comers, mostly because they seemed too fascinated with the house or picking out a room or fidgeting or trying to get along.

This was not really Anastasia's cup of tea. Socializing, although easy to do proved to be less rewarded than energy draining when around the wrong people. Also, because of Anastasia's other-wordly views and poetic nature, people didn't tend to understand what she meant or where she was coming from with most of her comments. Usually, she came off a bit rude and prudish, but she was far from it.

Now, Anastasia did enjoy other's company. She found humans to be the most eccentric fascinating things on the face of the planet and planned on devoting her life to understanding human nature, however, that had failed when she got kicked off of her campus for a mishap.

She smiled in the general direction of the people out of their rooms. She couldn't help but have a weird feeling about the guy with dread locks, but she shook it off and continued scanning the people. Besides the dread lock guy, two girls had showed up. One was in amazement about the house, the other came off as a little snobby. Anastasia just shrugged to herself and tapped her foot impatiently, waiting for something interesting to happen. After all, this was a reality show, wasn't it? And she'd seen enough of the "Real Housewives" to know that those were full of drama.

Eddie's eyes opened wide when she said the top floor. He dropped the case and looked up at the stairs. "Oh...crap." He grunted to himself. He noticed the others arrived, and then he saw the guy with Dreads and was almost reminded of himself. "Hey, dreads." He called over. "Care to lend me a hand?" Then he noticed the chick who seemed like the snobby, generic bitch in every reality show. Eddie leaned to Anastasia and whispered "Remind me not to get in a bar fight with her." He held back his smile, switching the song on his phone.

Roxy came out from the kitchen and happily wandered around the house. She was a little less bothered about the house and more bothered on whether her new, well lets say "family members" liked her or not. She was brought up in an orphanage and everyone thought she was weird because she was obsessed with her hair. All Roxy ever had going for her was her looks as she wasn't clever or logical however, she could sing.

She wandered to try and find someone to talk to, as she was feeling rather lonely and didn't want to give the feeling that she should be the ugly duckling.

Roxy approached a guy with dread locks and Eddie. She smiled and said," Hi what are you guys doing?" She asked and her face beamed with light and her smile was ecstatic and her sapphire eyes twinkled with happiness for she had gotten the guts to have a go at speaking to the guys.

Gideon hadn't believed his luck. He'd met a killer hot girl, banged her, gotten totally wasted and went down to Nevada to try his luck, won a couple thousand dollars, and then, he got the phone call.

"Gideon Caldwell?" The man on the other end of the phone had said.
"Yeah, what's up?" He had replied in his Scottish accent. He was shocked when the man inhaled deeply.
"Hadn't expected an accent, kid. Anyway, how would you like to be famous?"
Gideon had smiled brightly, an almost evil grin. "I'd love to,"

The man had given him all the information he'd needed, and then he picked up his whole life, quit his job, left his apartment totally empty (not like he'd had much...a mattress, some clothes, his guitar, a shitty laptop and a bong). He walked up to the house, having left his motorcycle in the driveway, and opened the door.

"No worries, ladies, the true stud is here," He said, giving a wink and smiling is charming smile. "Now, where can a man get a drink around here?"

Anastasia looked around at everyone and smiled sweetly at the new people. She watched them struggle with the bag and giggled to herself for a moment before biting her lip and becoming serious again, watching everyone with curiosity. She hoped no one had noticed her giggling.

Don't act crazy, Nastia. There are people watching.
