___Biography

Yuma was born a beaming baby girl, she didn't cry unlike most children. Her parents were very wealthy and they were determined to spoil this beautiful baby girl. Yuma was brought home with her mother a week later with no complications. It was a blissful period, the stressed relationship of her parents seemed to be remedied by the child. Her father would come home nearly in tears from his stressful job but he would smile and hug his toddler daughter. Her light violet hair and smile could make someone's day, though it wasn't until later in her life did she realize this was her status as a descendant that gave her this aura of happiness. Though her parents were rather busy Yuma grew quite close to the maids and butlers that treated her like family as well. They would play with her and teach her how to act like a proper lady.
As Yuma began to attend school she quickly became popular, she was pretty for her age, very smart, and very nice. Though she discovered by middle school that the popular crowd she was around was bullying others. Yuma told them to stop once and all of a sudden they treated her bad too. She was actually sad for the first time in her life, her friends told them she was a slut, useless, stupid. They hated her they said, she was ruined. She cried herself to sleep for an entire month but would never show discontent towards her 'friends' or tell her parents. She had to be their perfect little happy girl. She decided she would try to be mean like them so she could fit in. But after she tried and failed she realized how much of a softie she really was. Her friends ignored her and she was no longer popular but alone and sad. When she went into high school and was utterly alone. It wasn't until sophmore year until she found a friend. Yuma was being bullied and just sat there unable to fight back. That is when she met Ren, a punk like girl who saved her from the bullies. The girl was quite pretty and she blushed when Yuma gave her a smile.
It wasn't long until they became best friends, and then lovers. The girls believed it was them against the world, and they were determined to make an impact. Around this time Yuma started discovering her powers. And she was scared at first but then became used to it. Until she was taken away, wrenched from Ren's arms as they were sleeping, no explanation was given to the girlfriend but Yuma quickly knew why. They told her who she was , of course Yuma took it with a smile, though she was still upset about being taken from Ren.

What...what time was it? Miya rubbed her eyes, expecting to have her her alarm beeping at her to remind her to get up and go to school. As she rolled over in her bed, which felt rather stiff and cold this morning, she vaguely realised that all was silent except for a low hum of something mechanical. Maybe she was up early today? Eventually, Miya was awake enough to open her eyes. When she did, she started and bolted upright in her bed. The room she was in was not her own. Four plain white walls, a silver basin and a heavy metal door with a thin grid in the top greeted her. What on earth was going on?! This was not her home. Miya shoved the covers back and scrambled out of the bed, panic rising like bile in her throat. She stood in the middle of the room, her arms wrapped around herself as she shivered beneath her paper gown. There nothing in her except the metal frame bed behind her, accompanied with a single pillow and thin sheet, the silver basin and what she could only assume was a toilet, and a thin, long window at the very, very top of the wall.

Was this...was she in prison?! Miyako tried to remember what she had done, or even how she ended up in here. Last night, she had drifted off to sleep in her own bed surrounded by her shadow friends that swirled in the corners of the room, calling her to their realm. She hadn't visited in a long time, and when she stayed away she slowly felt more and more...odd. Maybe that's what happened here. Maybe she had an 'episode' after staying away for so long. No, this was very real. This wasn't padded enough for a mental hospital cell...

Miya padded around her room, awaiting a sign from someone what had happened here. Eventually, the door clunked and jingled as keys fussed with the lock. A tall, broad man with a worried expression on his face walked into the room. He held his hands up as though he was approaching a wild animal and spoke with a voice that coaxed Miyako forward. "Please miss, can you come with me?" he asked, holding out a pair of cuffs. Miyako arched a brow at the metal bracelets. "Warden's orders..." he shrugged as he fixed her arms behind her back.

Miyako was led into a room with four chairs laid out in a row in front of a portable screen. It looked like the screen was hooked up to a laptop. Miyako shook with anxiety as she was placed on a chair and her cuffs adjusted so she was attached to the chair. So far, she was on her own. But clearly more people were expected to show up.

Wake up... Wake up... Atsuko... You're in danger... Danger... Atsuko...

The soft, tiny voice whispered into the ear of the sleeping female. Blonde tresses hung like a soft curtain over the unconscious female's face. Her breathing had slowed to accommodate the drop in heart rate that the drugs had brought on. Still the tiny voice persisted at her ear. Sluggishly, blue eyes struggled against the weight of sleep and drugs to open. A blurry white tiled floor came in and out of focus. Her carpet was gone. Oh no... was she having another one of those weird walker movements? When she saw through the eyes of an animal in her sleep?

Atsuko... you must... wake up... wake up...

An indistinguishable sound rumbled from her throat, which was incredibly parched. Her tongue felt heavy as led in her mouth. She had never experienced such extreme cotton mouth. I bet my breath is bad enough to kill a goat, she thought to herself idly as she tried to lift her head and coax her eyelids fully apart. As her senses began to return, she felt the familiar presence of body-temperature metal. Rolling her head to one side, she managed to pry her left eye open far enough to get a look at one of her arms. Was she wearing silver bangles? Why was she sitting slumped over in a chair?

After a breath or two of trying to go back to sleep, she slowly lifted her head until it fell backwards on it's own. It felt heavy, like it was full of sand. Blurry eyes search the ceiling where overhead fluorescent lights winked and hummed at her. A particular black dot just within her line of sight swayed just lightly over her unfocused gaze.

Atsuko... open your eyes...

She groaned softly, allowing her head to continue to hang limply over the back of the chair. As her eyes began to adjust, she could just make out the tiny spider that hung just inches from her face. She hadn't even fully registered what it was before a door somewhere in the room came open. It took all of her strength to lift her head again and peer over at the doorway. A slender figure appeared, framed by two larger ones. "Good. She's awake. Bring her. The others are already in transport."

Her lips were a desert, rough against each other as they cracked to formulate a protest. No words came. What's happening? Confused blue eyes watched in a detached fascination as the large guard approached her to undo the cuffs that decorated her arms and legs. Such weird bangles... After he was finished, a meaty hand was held out to her. "Can you walk?" She nearly laughed at him, but she only manged a lazy smile. "Alright then." Air rushed by her as her slender frame was lifted into muscled arms. She wasn't carried very far before she was placed down into a wheelchair.

She idly watched as the lights blurred past her on her way to wherever she was going. It seemed the destination would be a room set up like something off of Law & Order. Cat like in her lazy, drug-induced manner, she looked up to the guard as he lifted her frail form once again and sat her down next to a jittery looking girl dressed in a paper gown. Atsuko could see her vibrating, humming with life and nerves, but she still seemed so unreal.

As she stared blankly at Miyako, her cuffs were replaced onto her limp wrists. Slowly her attention shifted to the two empty chairs, then the guard, then the screen, and finally the cuffs on her wrists. She was in a paper gown, too. Damn. With concentration, she pushed the pink of her tongue past her chapped lips to wet them. Her surveillance of the room indicated there was only one way out that didn't require a smaller form and climbing. Without word she continued to blankly stare, this time at the screen, as though waiting for something. The girl at her side didn't seem to bother her. If anything, she seemed calmer with a fellow heartbeat nearby.

Yuma felt light headed, not in a way such as nausea but as if she was floating. Her eyelids seemed as if they were barred shut, though an intense light made them flutter open and then closed again in sudden pain. Her eyes were not adjusted to the intense glow surrounding her. Though more
Importantly her entire body felt weightless. It was enough to make someone panic, feeling helpless like that. Though Yuma remained calm. The last thing she remembered was Snuggling with Ren and then hearing Ren screaming and crying.
The very though of her Girlfriend in distress made Yuma wince, what had happened? Though she decided that she would get to no conclusion this way. Once again Yuma opened her eyes and felt the blinding light, her eyes began to tear from the pain and it took a minute until she adjusted. "Oh." Yuma smiled and let a satisfied sound escape her. She was surrounded in pure white, Yuma was in a white dress and there was her best fiend. "Ai." The girl with the white hair and white skin, in a white dress. The girl who only existed in this plane of light, a dimensional pocket created by Yuma as a child. "Hi Yuma, you should stay with me. You could be in danger if you go back." The girl was perfect, what Yuma wanted to be. But Yuma shook her head, "I cant Ai, I need to know what has happened to me but I will return I promise."
Ai tried to stop her but Yuma pushed pass the imaginary friend. And stepped from the light into the darkness. Stepping back into reality always took it's toll on her body. She woke up with a dry gasp, room spinning, her world was dark. No light what so ever, her hands were bound behind her back by a tight chain. She attempted to call out to someone but she couldn't find her voice, all that came out was a dry croak. Her lips flapped open and closed like a fool. She could hardly move like this, her muscles ached as if she had been struggling lately. "Ai." She managed to say hoarsely, she then heard footsteps. She scanned the room but could not see a thing. The floor under her was concrete but other than that and the chains leading to what seemed to be a corner there was nothing.
The world was flooded with light once again and that made Yuma flinch, a tall figure barked orders at two giants. The British men came and unshackled her. Though she opted to stand instead of being carried. "F-fine... Walk." Her words were painful, she desperately needed water but there was nothing but pain and misery radiating from this place. Her legs were sore but she fought through the pain. Yuma smiled her bravest smile and did her best to fix her light violet hair and then stepped out.
Yuma shuffled down a metal hallway on chained legs and chained hands. She felt herself being prodded with a stick of some kind as she shuffled. Cattle was the word ringing through her ears. She still had to keep smiling, 'What is this place, a prison? An institution? Hell?'. She finally made it to a interview room, there sat two girls about her age. A girl with dark hair who seemed shaky and another with blonde hair who seemed half dead. Yuma sat down and kept on her brave, painful smile, she would remain the perfectly happy girl her parents loved.

One by one, more girls where wheeled or carried in and attached to the three empty chairs. They were all entirely different; one almost seemed stoned, one wore mittens and the other was either brave or stupid. Miya began to wonder why they were here and what the four of them had in common. Did they have mental health issues to? Did they see shadows and creatures lurking in the darkness? Miyako was certain she was alone on that crazy front, so she continued to try and rummage up a reason.She wasn't left with much time however, since as soon as the heavy lifters left the girls to themselves, a new man entered the room.

He was tall, with silver glasses and very pale, rose pink tresses that stood apart from his bright white lab coat. His emerald green eyes glinted with a wicked energy as she tapped some buttons on the laptop and the screen flashed to life. "Good day ladies. I'm sure you are wondering why you are here. Let me explain..." The screen flickered, crackled and then a fussy slideshow began to play. Images of Aerth and god like creatures played as the scientist cleared his throat. "Legend, and faith, would have you believe that a large unfathomable entity designed our beloved planet and everything in it. You are convinced that over six days, God made the world. Then on the seventh they would have you believe that He rested. Well, it's time you found out the truth. The real name of our home is Aerth. Instead of God having created it, four ethereal beings named 'The Creators' designed and shaped our planet from the stars. They poured their love and breathed life into the great rock, spreading new energy across it's planes.

The four Creators each took on an area of responsibility when creating Aerth. Thus became the Creator of Light, of Dark, of Flora and of Fauna. The Creator of Light is a gentle being, filled with a warm glow and positive energy. Creator of Dark is the opposite - a benevolent being who let the darkness consume them as they developed the planet. The Creator of Flora is at one with the plant life and flora in it's entirety, existing with an inability to speak. Lastly, the Creator of Fauna commands the wildlife and creatures of Aerth.

All of this took place thousands and thousands of years ago. The four Creators moved on from our pathetic little planet after it abandoned them, and were never seen or heard of since. Legend always promised that they had left Aerth to four descendants. Up until now, it was thought this was mere folklore. Up until know, we thought you four were lost" The slideshow ended, the screen cutting to black plunging the room into darkness. Miyako struggled to take everything in. Creators? Descendants? What was this man saying? The young girl tried to absorb everything she had just heard and seen on the slide show. Clearly, this guy thought they were the legendary descents of some 'creators'. Miyako had heard tales of them, but she always considered it to be fairytale.

Feeling her anxiety rise, transforming itself into the familiar tendrils of shadow that twirled around her feet, Miyako strived to keep her breathing under control. She barely had a moments thought before the blonde guy started to talk again. "So, you four are the descendants. We know you have all been experiencing out of the ordinary occurrences, and we have files on each of you. It probably won't take you long to figure out which descendant you are. However, it matters none. You four ladies are dangerous, and cannot be released back into the main Aerth until you can all prove you are gentle beings. You are not human. For the foreseeable future, you will be living here in the facility. When you get back to your rooms, the daily schedules will be delivered to you. From there, you will be moved to the Residency Wing. Yes, you will all be together. However, if you cannot behave or indeed prove our initial diagnosis to be true, you will be returned to your isolation rooms."

Miyako winced, her wide eyed stare wavering as she fought back tears. Dangerous?! Her?! The worst she had ever done was strayed from this realm into the shadow. She had never hurt anyone? Or had she...maybe she hadn't noticed. Either way, she was stuck here with the three girls sat next to her.

Alice's head swam. She could hardly pay attention, much less bring herself to care as the presentation began. A slide show of their world, Aerth. It was only when the mysterious pink haired man mentioned the inability to speak that her head snapped up. It seems that it was rather easy to puzzle out which one she was, as she had been mute since birth. So the inability to speak was a passed down trait from one of their creators. If he was correct, that meant Alice was flora. Trees, flowers, bushes, all beautiful and thriving under her watchful eye in her precious garden. Only, Alice no longer had her garden. Her home, her family, her precious older brother, they would keep living on without her. The thought of never seeing them again, that there was a possibility she would never leave this place, made Alice begin to shake. Her whole body quivered with fear, tears biting her eyes and rolling down her cheeks. She hated this, this feeling of helplessness that constantly surrounded her life.

Alice wasn't doing it intentionally, she wasn't looking to hurt anyone, but thorn covered vines began to creep through the cracks in the tiles. As her tears dripped to the floor, plants took their place, blooming around her seat. They wrapped around her feet and legs as well as her chair, small, red flowers that matched her hair, blossoming where her blood dripped. She couldn't help the fact that she was emotional, that she cared too much for the important people in her life. At least they would not be hurt, her older brother, her parents, they would be fine. Alice would return to them eventually. The thought finally made her tears stop and eventually dry up. Instantly she was overwhelmed by men in hazmat suits, they wrestled her out of the chair and onto the floor, twisting her arms painfully behind her. It-it was an accident. I didn't mean for plants to come from the ground, Alice had no way of telling them this though. She couldn't sign with her hands twisted behind her like this, as well as with the mittens they had stuck on her.

"Don't move," a gruff voice spoke as he produced a knife, untangling her legs from the vines that had wrapped around them. They were cut up and bleeding, the paper gown doing little to protect Alice from herself. Desperately Alice twisted her head, making eye contact with the girl with beautiful purple eyes. Please help me, she pleaded silently as they lifted Alice up and placed her in an awaiting wheelchair. She felt a needle slide under the skin in her neck, the cold plunge of an injection of some sorts. The world tilted sideways, her body slumped forward. Alice had spent all of ten minutes with the other girls and already she was being punished for something unintentional. It's for the best, you would probably just endanger them as well.

They took her back to that awful room, the lonely one with no windows. Alice wanted to be with the others, to at least have company, but it seems she had already proved their hypothesis correct, that they were dangerous and shouldn't be allowed near others. The thought made her tear up again and Alice bit down on her lip to keep from crying; if tears spilled, no doubt the vines would begin to grow again. She hugged her knees to her chest, the cuts she had given herself stinging. At least she hadn't hurt anyone else, the other girls would be fine. Hopefully.
