Setting
0.00 INK
Ashton glanced around to see her surroundings and found herself in the middle of a dense and green forest. She turned to her right and saw a large crevice left behind from the planes impact and then to the right of her was she large plane. Inside she could see shadows of people, no bodies. She also saw blood staining the windows of the plane. She gasped a little backing up a bit as the realization that people on her plane had died seeped into her mind. Where her friends alright?
She quickly ran over to the plane and knocked on the thick windows. "Is anyone in there!" She shouted trying to look inside, but it was too dark to see anything other then shadows of bodies. "Shout out if you can hear me!" She yelled again.
Setting
0.00 INK
She wasn't good at medical stuff, but she would try to help, if she could. However, touching the bodies irritated her; there was a reason she found dissections so hard, and trying to tell whether or not anyone was alive was killing her. She shook her head as she reached the outside of the plane and glanced around, waiting for her eyes to adjust. Then she found the girl. "...Think anyone else made it out?" she asked, glancing back inside. She hoped so; she had nothing against the girl, but she didn't like the thought of everyone else but two, in that whole plane of people, surviving. 'Shouldn't there be more than this?' she wondered.
Setting
0.00 INK
Suddenly her eyes snapped open and she shot up into a seated position, suddenly aware of what had happened. We crashed. We crashed, these things don't actually happen. They happen to other people, it wasn't supposed to happen to anyone I knew, let alone me! Merel screamed in her mind, unable to produce a real scream due to her smoke-damaged throat.
Lifting her hand to her neck she winced, there were burn near her windpipe that didn't hurt too much compared to her leg, she was pretty sure it was broken, after all she thought she could see part of her bone sticking out of the shin area... She also felt around the back of her head and pulling her hand away, she found it to be coated in thick red blood, So, that's what half-coagulated blood looks like. Odd, I thought it would loo more brown. She mused in a way that was much too calm for her situation, hopefully she was only overwhelmed and not going into shock- that would really suck.
She heard some yelling, asking if anyone could hear or something like that, and Merel wanted so badly to be able to yell back, but she could not even whisper. Oh God, what if I won't ever be able to speak again? Oh God, oh God, oh God... She continued to repeat in her head like a chant, she couldn't loose her voice. Music was her world, if she couldn't sing she might very well die. Sure she had her instruments, but not being able to sing, that was living death.
