The Triboar Trail was a trail that ran from the town of Triboar through to Conyberry, and stretching to the High Road on the coast. The region around it was also called Triboar Trail.
The frontier town of Phandalin is built on the ruins of a much older settlement. Hundreds of years ago, the old Phandalin was a thriving human town whose people were firmly allied with the dwarves and gnomes of the Phandelver's Pact.
The High Road was the inland trade route that stretched from Waterdeep in the south to Luskan in the north. It skirted Thornhold and the eastern edge of the Mere of Dead Men where it passed beneath Iniarv's Tower before going through Leilon.
Neverwinter, also known as the City of Skilled Hands and the Jewel of the North, was a multi-racial city-state sitting on the northwestern Sword Coast of Faerûn. Neverwinter was regarded as the most cosmopolitan and civilized city in all of Faerûn.
The Sword Mountains are mountains in a range located on the Sword Coast North, forming a boomerang shape, northwest of Waterdeep and east of the Mere of Dead Men. Their western slopes lead to the Trackless Sea in rolling foothills.
The Sword Coast, not to be confused with the Sword Coast North, was the region in western Faerûn that lay along the coast Sea of Swords and extended inward into the vale.
Coming from Mount Hotenow, the Neverwinter River flowed through the Neverwinter Wood.
