Daisy is very friendly and kind, yet also timid. When put under pressure, she becomes quite shy and somewhat awkward. Overall, she's a real pushover. She really doesn't know how to say no. If someone was to ask for something or try to take something, she would immediately give up without a word. She is very tender and fragile.
She seems to have an affinity for soothing people. If any of her friends are in distress, she would be the first person to go to. She would never hesitate to hold a complete stranger in her arms, and whisper softly to them until they are relaxed. Being very patient, she is an excellent listener. Her easygoing, kindhearted nature makes it easy for her to make friends very quickly.
Daisy will never allow someone she loves to be hurt. If one of them was to get into trouble, she would take the blame in a heartbeat. If someone was going to hurt them, she would take their place without a second thought. This trait can be very dangerous.

History:|
Daisy's father was French. Her father was a handsome French man, and a known heartbreaker. Her mother was a shy, beautiful young British women who quickly fell for his charm.
Well, that poor girl ended up pregnant. He promised to give up his unfaithful ways, and moved to Britain with her. They picked out names, and he even stayed around after she was born. Once he realized how much work the little girl was and all that he was missing out on, he was out. Daisy was just a mere two months old when her father abandoned them.

Her gentle mother did her best to raise sweet little Daisy, and was an excellent mother. Daisy was the easiest child that anyone could ask for, but it was still hard raising her alone. Her family had money, but was very distant and there were many rivalries between the family. It was just her mother, alone. Daisy was very close with her mother, and as she got older did her best to help her as much as she could. Occasionally her mother's brother or father would come over, but they were very very hot headed and often just ended up fighting with her mother.

Daisy's uncle was terrible gambler. When she was about twelve, her uncle gambled away all his money and came to Daisy and her mother for help. He demanded money from them, and when her mother refused he lashed out. He beat and strangled Daisy and her mother. Her mother was killed, and Laci was nearly beaten to death. He got away, and Laci never saw him again.
The poor girl became terrified and mistrustful of everyone, and being shipped off to America, a country she had never even been to didn't help. She moved in with her kind, yet distant aunt. She was a nurse, and was too busy to care for a shocked and terrified child. Daisy learned to take care of herself, but true to her nature, tried to care for her aunt aswell. She often leaves her aunt meals, all packaged and nice, for her to take when she works nights. She always makes sure the massive, empty house is clean and kept up.
Daisy loves her boyfriend, but she has also fallen for Alex. It tears her apart, lying to her boyfriend, but she just can't leave Alex. She loves their oddball personalities, she cares about them both so much. Matters were made even worse when she found out that she was pregnant a few months ago.

Miscellaneous:|
Bear- Daisy has a MASSIVE black Newfoundland, named Bear. He looks scary, but really he is just a big oaf. But he is very, very protective of Daisy. He loves all of her friends, especially Alex and Finn, and is even protective of a few of them.

Summer. A six letter word that implies freedom. School ended a week ago and now every high school teen is trying to find ways to see the world, avoid parents, attend as many parties as possible. Of course for the 6 friends, they are entering senior year which mean summer is truly meant for college plans, but that can happen later. They want to experience the freedom before they are sucked back into the jail called school.

Belladona awoke that morning already planning to stay in her room. Although her friends would most likely drag her out of her bed and throw her outside, head first. Crawling out of the bed, she stumbled over to her bathroom to get dressed for whatever the day has planned. Her outfit was simple, but screamed Belle in many ways. Once she gave herself a once over in the mirror she skipped down the grand stair case.

Her father was what some would call upper middle class do to his job as a lawyer. The house has 7 bedrooms (2 of which are master), 1 giant kitchen, a full basement, 2 acres for a backyard, and 4 full bathrooms. It was big for just two people, but Belle was known for hosting sleep overs for all her friends. She made her way into the kitchen and saw that everything was left the way is was last night. Untouched. This was the first sign of her father not being home. Sign number two is not responding to a distress call.

"FIRE!" she shouted. After waiting a few moments with no answer it was decided that her father wasn't home. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. He was working to keep food on the table and clothes on their back. But it would be nice to see her father every once in a while. She picked up her phone and sent a message to all her friends.

To: Everyone!
From:Belle <3
Breakfast at my house. Waffles, Eggs, and Bacon. Get it while it's hot.

The message sent. She was expecting most of her friends to show up. And if they didn't she would have all this food for herself. While the bacon was sizzling she texted Elijah. She wanted a Caramel Frappuccino from Starbucks, he was the only one who would possibly bring it to her.

To: Elijah
From: Belle <3
Bring me a caramel frappuccino! Please and Thank you!

She got back to breakfast. She had about 30 minutes until the first person showed up.

Daisy slept soundly, her massive black Newfoundland laying across her legs protectively. She was startled when her phone buzzed obnoxiously. She jumped, squinting over at her nightstand. She groaned and held her palm to her forehead as the nausea hit, right on schedule. She wrestled her legs free from her massive dog, and swung them over the side of her bed. She slowly made her way over to her bathroom, her hand over her mouth.
Five minutes later, she made her way back into her room with her toothbrush hanging out of her mouth. She scooped up her phone, and chuckled at the text that had so rudely awoken her.
From:Belle
Breakfast at my house. Waffles, Eggs, and Bacon. Get it while it's hot.

To: Belle
Me and Bear are on our way!

She quickly texted her friend back, and went back to the bathroom to finish brushing her teeth and take a shower.
Once she smelled of freshly cut flowers and her hair was blow dried, she pawed through her clothes. She settled on a sky blue summer dress, that was fitted enough to accent her figure but loose enough to hide her bump. She paused before putting it on, glancing at her reflection. Her hands trembling, she softly touched the visibly obvious bump on her abdomen. The problem wasn't going away. She felt like a ticking time bomb. I have to tell him...

Daisy and Bear hopped out of her car, at Belle's house, under ten minutes later. Bear loved her friends, and she always took him when she went to Belle's house. She knocked twice, before entering with Bear on her heels. "Hey guys!" She called, her British accent unmistakable.
Bear's nose quivered, and he marched off happily, his tail waving high like a flag. She followed him, and quickly found herself in front of Alex. Bear pounced on him, and her laughed. Luckily, he remained upright. "Go find Belle, Bear!" She told her dog, who stole one more big lick, then reluctantly stomped off.
Without even glancing around to see if anyone was watching (Bear would have let her know), Daisy gently wrapped her arms around Alex and gave him a tender kiss.

Belle finished making breakfast and she got a confirmation text from Eli saying that he will bring her breakfast. She finished making the food and she set out plates for everyone. One by one everyone arrived at her house clearly looking for the hostess when she felt everyone was here she made her entrance. But before anyone could see her she of course was tackled by Bear. She laughed and giggled and pushed the dog off. "Hey Bear. Take me to my friends." the dog barked in response and she found them.

"Yay! Everyone is here!" She said looking at all of her friends. She turned to Elijah. "Yay! My coffee!" she dashed over to him and took the cup. She kissed his cheek, in a friendly nature, and then sipped her frappuccino. She smiled in delight. She then went around hugging the rest of her friends, Alex was last. She hugged him a bit longer too, but it wasn't that noticeable. She then started walking toward the kitchen. "Food is ready. So just dig in," she said gesturing everyone to follow her.

Quickly she realized that Finn has yet to arrive. So before people could devour all of the food, she got a plate ready for him.

To: Finn
From: Belle <3
The whole gang is here and I saved you a plate!

The message sent and she sat on the kitchen counter allowing her friends to devour the food that she had laid out for them.

Finn grumbled fidgeting with the ends of his sleeves to create the facade of looking busy as the other civilians immersed themselves in conversations with one another. Finn always hated taking the bus, he hated when he forgot his keys at a one of his parents homes, hated cold coffee, hated hangovers and especially hated early mornings on the bus in the summer where everyone was talking in a manner much too obnoxious and loud for Finn's liking. Solemnly flipping his phone on, he searched for any new messages, a bright smile errupting on his face when he spotted a unopened one from Belle.

To: Finn
From: Belle <3
The whole gang is here and I saved you a plate!

Finn's finger snapped into motion as he started to write a reply

To: Belle <3
From: Finn
thank you. for your saintly behaviour i think ill manage to be there in about ten minutes. stuck taking the bus. i think I'm almost at my stop...

Finn quickly pressed send, when he heard the doors of the bus fly open and a man and woman enter aboard. He looked out realizing that this was the stop by Belle's house, he gently pressed himself off his seat as he strode outside. He let out a small smile as he rubbed his eyes, averting them from directly looking at the sun as he began to trek forward. The walk wasn't quite so far opposed to some of the other bus stops but it wasn't quite the closest distance either. He brushed his fingers through his hair as he finally reached his destination. He often forgot how large Belle's house was at times. He had a tendency to considered her quite rich at times even if she might occasionally argue otherwise. He let out a small grin as he stopped admiring the house and let himself in. If it had been anyone besides Belle, he most likely would have wasted a minute or two knocking at the door but he had reached a certain ring of familiarity with her as he strode carelessly into her house. The front entrance looked as neat and pleasant as ever, neither of his houses deserved any awards for cleanliness. Finn was shaken out of his train of thoughts as heard barking not coming from too far away, he should have assumed bear would be coming with Daisy. Finn began to follow the sound of mindless chatter and laughter as he half-heartedly hoped that the food hadn't gotten cold yet.

Olive looked up from her phone as Eli pulled into the drive. She hesitated for a moment, admiring the car and preparing herself for another human encounter. It was no secret that she had been pulling away from her friends lately. Turning down this party or that invitation- though all with legitimate excuses; excuses here being lies to cover up her doctor visits. Ignoring the feeling in her gut screaming for her to say never mind and go back inside, Olive made her way to the car and slid into the passenger seat. Elijah looked to her as though he had said something as she was walking to the car. The expression on his face looked like he was hopefully waiting for an answer. "I've been good," she lied sweetly, placing a smile on her lips that she hoped he wouldn't notice was forced.

Elijah stared the car and pulled out of the drive, heading in a longer route to get to Belle's house. Olive felt her stomach churn. What if he wanted to talk to her about something? What if he had noticed something was up? Why else would he be going this way? "So, ah.. where are we going? Belle's turn was that way..." She tried to sound lighthearted. "I've gotta make a stop on the way. Belle wants something from Starbucks. Then we can head over to her place." "Mkay."

Olive turned her eyes to focus on the passing scenery. She shook her head when he offered to get her something from the chirpy 15 year old in the Starbucks window. Olive fell silent for the rest of the ride, remembering how close she and Elijah had once been. Even before they had started dating, they were the best of friends. She could recall many a day playing XBOX on his bed with him and rolling around playfully on the mattress with him when he would beat her-or when she would beat him. The fond memories were hard to swallow with him sitting right beside her, still hopelessly clueless as to why she suddenly locked her heart away. It's for the best. she weakly told herself.

They had arrived at Belle's- not a moment too soon. Olive got out of the car and desperately tried to blink the tears away. She had to stop thinking about things like that or she'd really fall apart... or worse, start thinking about dying. Elijah came around the car, looking to her with a bit of a cheesy smile. "Looks like we made it in one piece."
She softened a little, and the hint of a real smile started to show. "Thanks for coming to get me... you look nice, Elijah." She glanced away from him and went into the house. I think that's the nicest and longest thing I've said to him in person since the breakup..

"Belle?" Her response came in the form of a British greeting- not Belle, obviously, but another friendly face. Olive turned around and smiled as Bear came thundering toward her. Olive had to admit- the dog was appropriately named. The beast galloped his way over to her, bounced around her for a moment and then took off up the stairs- hunting Belle down, no doubt. He was incredibly smart for such a massive dog. When he returned he had Belle in tow. "Yay! Everyone is here!" Olive glanced around, noticing that Finn was not yet here. "Well, not everyone just yet.." "Yay! My coffee!" Belle turned her attention to Elijah who stood with her coffee in hand. For his efforts he was rewarded with a kiss on the cheek. Olive smiled a little. He deserved to be happy- with someone like Belle, maybe. Maybe they'd settle down together and have kids in a grand house like this one day.

Belle led them to the kitchen and invited everyone to start eating. Olive looked over the food, trying to think of what would be the most pleasant if it came back up later. She decided on eggs and toast in the end. She had just finished making her plate and sitting down in her seat when Finn walked in. "Finn," she said with a smile, "better late than never, hm? Did you take the bus again?" Her chattiness surprised her, but it was nice to be with her friends again. It was good seeing them all together, smiling and happy. She wished she could capture this moment and hold onto it forever... but she just didn't have forever anymore.

She was being morbid again, so she took a large bite out of her toast and focused on Belle's wonderful cooking. "You should become a chef, Belle," Olive said playfully after she had finished the tiny portion she had put on her plate. "Daisy, can bear have a piece of bacon?" Olive inquired as she held up a deliciously greasy piece of bacon. Her heart longed for the fatty treat, but she couldn't risk it. She had a strict list of 'dos' and don'ts' now.

Alex danced around the room, filled with the power of glorious bacon. "Bella, this is amazing, probably like the best ever!" He spun around her, and placed a napkin hat on her head. He finished off his second plate, than grabbed two pieces of bacon. One of which he tossed to Bear. He still spun, he'd never really been this happy, and the fact he learned Bella was a great chef too, just sent him through the roof. "So what do you all want to do today? We can go to the movies or go adventure!" He had sub-consciously reminded himself that he seemed insane, but enjoyed being crazy anyway. He went to spin and grab a last piece of bacon, but he hit a chair-leg and ended up face planting into the ground. This seemed to jolt the boy into some form of reality, and calmed himself down. 'Time to lay-off the bacon there' He thought to himself.

As he stood, he faced Bella. "So, where did you learn to cook? It was truly incredible!" He went to the couch and laid down. "That bacon was, clearly shown by me, good enough to drive someone mad." He chuckled at his horrible attempt at a joke. He began to dream while the others ate, about life free from school, forever. He smiled and realized that it would be just as great as today.

Daisy smiled warmly as she entered the room that everyone had gathered in. "Good morning!" She greeted, tucking her honey coloured curls behind her ear. When she spotted Finn, her smile broadened. She hugged him, and rested her head on his chest.  "You're late, slow poke." She teased, standing on her toes to give him  a quick kiss. Then came the guilt. It twisted inside of her, cutting her like a knife. As  3veryone sat, her smile slowly became less real. More plastic. Tell him. Tell him!
She glanced at her hands, that began to tremble. When Olive  spoke to her, she was pulled from her thoughts. "Him? Oh! Yes, of course. As if he doesn't' love you enough." She smiled kindly, running her fingers through her massive black dog. She leaned against Finn softly, resting her head on his shoulder.

She looked over at Alex, and couldn't help but let out a light bubble of laughter  as she saw how happy he was. Im  going to  do it. she decided, standing  up and holding her head high. She made her way over to Alex, and offered him a weak smile. "Can we talk?" She asked, softly his wrist into her hand. She gently tugged him through the labrynth that was Belle's house. The further she walked, the more her hands trembled. She turned to him, and felt her will fading. She had already screwed up her own life, why screw up his, too?
"I-i..." Tears welled up in her eyes, and she offered him a shaky smile. He needs to know. If he wants knowing to do with us... that's his choice.. She took in a shaky breath, and quickly let it out. "I'm pregnant with your baby." She blurted. A tear slipped out but she quickly brushed it away. She gently pressed his hand to her abdomen. She wanted to laugh at herself- the bump was so obvious now. How did she think she could keep this? "I've known for a few months. I'm so sorry. If you don't want anything to do with us, I completely understand.

Elijah had walked with Olive all the way to the house, staying rather distant from her. He just couldn't understand why she'd suddenly broken up with him. The only thing that he'd been able to come up with..was that he'd done something to greatly upset the young woman. As they walked, he tried to push the thoughts from his mind. He didn't need such things bringing him down right then. He'd no doubt that Belle would notice his mood and ask about it if he did not seem cheery when they entered.

Once inside the home, Elijah made his was to his best friend, leaving Olive. "Yay! My coffee!" She then took the drink from his hands and placed a friendly kiss upon his cheek. He smiled at her. "You'd better be glad that I like you..I wouldn't go out of my way for just anyone." he said jokingly. He fell silent, fixing himself a plate. However, he did not get more than enough to satisfy his hunger. For some reason, he was just not that hungry right then.

Once he'd gotten his plate, Elijah made his way back to Belle, standing with her. He was fairly silent, his eyes trying to find Olive. When he'd realized what he was doing, Elijah quickly turned his gaze to his closest friend. "This is amazing..truly, Belle. Remind me to get you to cook more often. So much better than what I normally have." He smiled at his friend. She knew all about his home situation though the only other person was Olive. He did not like going around and talking about how messed up his family was. He found it hard to trust anyone..that they wouldn't judge him or his mother. He hardly ever saw her anymore, she was forced to work two jobs to keep them afloat. He helped as he was able..since his website was now quite popular, he earned quite a bit just from the traffic. All of the funds he got usually went to help out with bills. He'd also taken a job at a local restaurant, Bistro 72. He was always busy, which left for little time to do things that he'd rather do.

Elijah's gaze once again fell to Olive. He sighed softly. He just as quickly turned back to Belle. "So, what's the plan for today?" he asked, forcing a smile on his face. He still had his blog to work on though he tried not to think about that. He needed to be just a normal teen even if it was only for a few hours. His blue gaze held Belle's. He was actually very glad that she'd invited him and for once he was able to come over and not worry about work or anything like that. He watched his other friends and still his eyes would linger upon Olive every now and then. He suspected that as long as he remained away from her he'd be okay. He was certain that he had a slightly pained look to his face..but at the moment he did not care.

Belle watched as her friends devoured the food that she had put out for them. She was used to cooking for herself and her father. He couldn't cook and there was no one around to cook for her. She could tell by the compliments that the food she made. But she didn't think it was that good. But she accepted the compliments. Finn finally showed up to the house and he got his plate and his hug. Then she took her spot back on the counter. She took a loud sip from her coffee, but she didn't think anyone could hear it over the chewing.

"You should become a chef, Belle," Belle giggled. "Nah. I like making food for you guys only," she said. In all honesty the job she now is the only job she cares about. Speaking of which, she has to make a drop soon. She has to wait for her friends to leave first. She took another sip of her coffee and she smiled at Bear. Even Bear liked her food.

The second person to make her laugh was Alex. He was running and spinning as if he was on drugs. But it was just her bacon. He was asking her about it and shoving pieces down his throat. "So, where did you learn to cook? It was truly incredible!" she just shrugged. "I needed food one day and then my magical cooking powers arrived." she commented. He left the kitchen to lay off the bacon. Note to self. No more bacon for Alex.

Daisy left the kitchen as well, but no one was truly worried about it, neither did Belle. She finished the coffee and threw the cup away. A sigh escaped her lips. It was sad to finish her coffee. Now Elijah had joined her in her silence. She was closer to him than any of her other friends and she never knew why. Maybe it was the fact he accepted her silence.

Silence was never an issue with him. If neither of them wanted to talk, then they didn't speak. It wasn't awkward or weird. Also maybe because they knew the truth of their families. His wasn't all that and her dad was never around. They kept each other sane to some degree. "This is amazing..truly, Belle. Remind me to get you to cook more often. So much better than what I normally have." She nodded at him. "I will always cook for you Eli, you know that. I also have the spare room ready for you. You practically live here." she said to him turning to her friend.

It was true. He was always over to get away from his family and the house was mostly empty. He was always welcome here and she was always welcome at his house. They were just that close. "So, what's the plan for today?" Belle shrugged. "I have something to do in an hour, but then I'm free." she said. "Did you want to hang later? This house will be empty most of the day." she asked him.

Finn hovered carelessly around the table attempting to place as much of the food in his polished white place as he could. Breakfast at Belle's always were lovely even when the food was cold. Finn lay his full plate down at a empty chair at the table and walked towards the kitchen counter where the coffee kettle was lying dejectedly. He let out a small laugh as he grabbed the coffee kettle and poured himself a cup when he spotted Daisy. The grin on his face broadened until he was smiling with every single one of his teeth visible, which he rarely did. Her hair was tumbling in honey glazed gentle spirals in front of her face with the sun caressing every strand. She looked lovely as always even with the darkness that was becoming apparent under her eyes. In fear of being impolite or provoking a fight he hadn't mentioned how tired she looked and how the circles under her eyes were looking darker and darker. He was worried about her but he bit it back with a smile as she called out "Good morning" to the group.

He watched as she sprung forward and wrapped her lean arms around his body and lay her head on his chest. He smiled down at her as he attempted to soak in the moment, as he lay his arms around her as well. She smelt like vanilla and as cliche as it felt to think this holding each other felt so natural and it felt as if it was where they belonged. He watched as Daisy untangled himself without a reason or explanation and walk over to Alex. He was beginning to notice more and more often how much they ran off together but he supposed he often talked to Olive and Belle alone too so it was no problem.

He sighed as he took a seat back at the table and attempted to pay attention to the conversation. "Did you want to hang later? This house will be empty most of the day." Finn heard Belle respond, he quickly jumped in before Eli or Olive could possibly respond.
"Am I not invited Belle? Is this my punishment for being late?" He asked a feigning innocence as a cheeky grin settling on his face.

Olive glanced over her shoulder in time to catch a glimpse of Daisy dragging Alex off into some other part of the house. What were those two up to all the time, sneaking off like that? Not one to judge, or jump to conclusions, Olive turned her attention to Finn instead. He was messing with the coffee pot when Elijah's voice came into the air. "This is amazing..truly, Belle. Remind me to get you to cook more often. So much better than what I normally have." Olive locked her jaw and looked down at Bear as she fed him another slab of bacon. The food wasn't that spectacular. For Christ's sake, it's hard to fuck up bacon and eggs.

Annoyed with the sudden stab of jealousy, Olive gave Bear an affectionate pat on the head. She stood and decided to cross over to the living room, but as she was walking she heard Belle's reply; "I will always cook for you Eli, you know that. I also have the spare room ready for you. You practically live here." Olive's thigh collided with one of the chairs, causing her to stumble just slightly. She quickly righted herself and let out a laugh, running a hand through her hair to try and cool the blush that bloomed in her cheeks. "I'm good," she laughed, before anyone could ask if she were alright.

"So, what's the plan for today?" Olive sat on the couch and laid out across it. Her chest was hurting, and laying down felt better than standing. "I have something to do in an hour, but then I'm free. Did you want to hang later? This house will be empty most of the day." Olive locked her jaw again, trying to beat down the green beast of jealousy. This is what she had wanted, after all- for him to be happy, not with her. She slowly closed her eyes and tried to take a deep breath. She could only get half way through before her chest started to burn. She opened her eyes and sat up, running her hand through her hair again. She had to calm down. She couldn't have an episode here.

It was Finn's voice who spoke up in answer. "Am I not invited Belle? Is this my punishment for being late?" Olive smiled a little. She could always count on Finn. She turned around on the couch to look into the kitchen and dinning room- seeing his cheeky grin. Where was Daisy? "Don't feel bad, Finn. I didn't get invited either! I guess Belle just doesn't love us anymore," she sighed dramatically and put her hand to her forehead as if fainting. "Oh, woe is me," she cried dramatically, trying to hide her grin. "Seriously though, I had heard about a bonfire at the beach tonight. I think we should go." She shifted in her seat slightly to cross her arms and place them on the back of the couch. "Elijah," she said suddenly, flashing him one of her best smiles, "Will you drive me?"

Finn turned to Olive as he peeked out through the doorway hoping to get a glimpse of Daisy but unfortunately he didn't. He hid his disappointment and the frown that had crawled onto his face with his mug as he downed another sip of his luke-warm coffee. The coffee he drank at home was the kind that you could find at a local department store and you didn't have to maintain much wealth to purchase. The quality of the liquid was seriously lacking as well, it tasted like crap but he usually just shrugged it often and hoped he would grow accustomed to the fowl taste.
"Dont feel bad Finn. I didn't get invited either! I guess Belle doesn't love us anymore," He heard Olive say taking him out of his thoughts. He looked over ready to say a quick witted response when he looked over at Olive and broke out into a low chuckle. She had her delicate fingers placed onto her forehead into and her eyes shut daintily. Her long auburn hair danced around her pale face like autumn leaves stretching over the couch as she yelped "Oh, woe is me".
"This is almost as tragic as Orpheus" He said pausing for dramatic effect before leaving his coffee cup unfinished on the table and running over jumping beside Olive, tackling her slightly as he relaxed, making himself comfortable next to her on the couch. He looked over as Olive began to speak once more. "Seriously though, I heard about a bonfire at the beach tonight. I think we should go". Finn always had loved bonfires, he loved the smell of smoke and how everything seemed almost seemed slightly serene.
Elijah, will you drive me? he bit the inside of his mouth from resisting to let out a large obnoxious smile. Olive was looking at Eli with her eye's wide and eager. He never quite understood why they broke up. He wasn't sure if he was imagining it or not but it still appeared as if they were close and hung up on each other. He couldn't possibly understand why they didn't just get back together. The way Olive looked at Eli was the same way Daisy previously looked at him when they had begun dating. But those adoring and loving looks had gone from constant to occasional to rare. Sometimes he felt as if she was drifting farther and farther from him and it bothered him. He looked over at Olive, Eli and Belle again as he lounged against the couch kicking his feet up onto Olive's lap and sent Belle a small knowing smirk as he attempted to gesture toward Eli and Olive.

Alex stared at Daisy for a few seconds, then back at her. "So wait, You're pregnant?" He was afraid, he could barely keep him self alive, yet alone care for a kid, but it was his. "And I'd never leave you alone, so don't worry." He gave her a quick kiss on her forehead. "Me and you can talk and sort this out later, but let's head back before it's too suspicious ok?" Alex was trying to stay strong and calm for Daisy, but he was scared shitless. Did he ruin her life? Would this ruin the group? But most of all he had to think and feel guilty, about Finn. They weren't the closest two, but he was still a good friend and it hurt to not tell him.

He walked back into the room, and joined the conversation over by Finn, noticing the gesture from him to Belle. "If you're going to ask Eli for everything Olive, you mine as well hire him as a butler. Eli you wouldn't argue that would you?" Alex let a wild grin, he was sure the others knew what he really meant. It was clear both parties still had feelings there, and was curios as why the two split off. He went for more bacon, but noticed the empty plate. He settled for a cup of 'I don't think this even counts as warm' Coffee. "Guys, just for self conscious reason, did I eat most of that bacon?" He gave an apologizing glance to Belle. He looked for a couch spot but since it all seemed empty, he settled for lying on the floor. "Wow this carpet so soft, It feels better than my bed!" He was trying to act comical to relieve some of is new found stress. The only thing he could think of was to act insane until he calmed down.

Daisy let out a deep breath when Alex said he would never leave her. Her halfhearted smile became more steady, more real. His calmness was so comforting, even though she knew he was probably freaking out inside. But all that really mattered was him not leaving. If he left them... she wouldn't know what to do.
His kiss on her forehead warmed her, and she paused for a moment to soak it in. With a very light sigh, she nodded. They had to her back to the others, before one of them got curious and decided to look for them. Or started to suspect. She paused, taking him in for just one more moment, before she squared her shoulders and started back to the others.

Daisy tucked a lock of golden curls behind her ear as she returned to Finn's side. The guilt weighed on her like a ton of bricks. He was so good to her. How could she do this to him? She felt like crying again.
She glanced up, and studied his face. He was handsome, and just looking at him still gave her butterflies. He had the most stunning eyes, just a shade lighter than Alex's rich, ocean blue ones. He deserves so much better. She thought, wrapping her arms around him and burying her face in his chest. She could hear his heart beating, and it calmed her.
Resting her chin on his rest, she gazed up at him. "I love you." She murmured honestly, soft enough that he was the only one to hear it. She had said it before, and she meant it. She loved him.
Her golden amber eyes flicked over to Alex. Like when she saw Finn, her heart swelled. She loved him, too. His laugh was like music, and just him looking over at her was enough to kill her. She had no idea how were they going to do.
How was it even possible to love two people so much? When they were in the same room, her heart felt like it was about to burst. She held Finn a little bit closer, careful not to hold him uncomfortably tightly. She looked back up at him. How much longer did she have with him?

Before he was even able to reply to Belle, a few of the others piped up about not being invited. Elijah smiled, listening to what everyone was saying. After a few moments of this, Olive spoke to him. "Elijah, will you drive me?" His blue eyes turned to her. He could never say no to her. Never. He smiled at her. "Of course I will drive you, Olive." he said. She should know by now that she needn't even ask. He would do anything for her. His eyes quickly turned to Alex, as the young man spoke. "If you're going to ask Eli for everything Olive, you mine as well hire him as a butler. Eli you wouldn't argue that would you?" His friend was smiling which in turn caused Elijah to smile as well. "Of course not. Though, you'd have to let me work around my schedule at the bistro." he said, laughing. "But..I don't mind helping you out."

He fell silent for a moment before turning back to Belle. "I think the bonfire sounds like fun. It's been forever since we've all done something like that." He did still have a few things to do but he already knew that it wouldn't take him long to do. He was actually fairly excited about doing something that he normally didn't do. Normally, he worked nights but since summer had started they were gonna start working him different shifts at the bistro. He was glad. This way, he'd have a bit of a different schedule. He still had a smile on his face, something that he normally didn't do.

Suddenly, he felt his phone go off. He pulled it out of his pocket and checked it. It was only a few updates, reader comments, on his website. He quickly looked through them before putting his phone back in his pocket. His gaze turned back to Olive for a short moment before he turned his attention back to his best friend, grinning at her. "You know..I do have the next couple of days off and Mom's working like crazy..I might stay over..if that's okay with you? I'd just need to swing by home to get a few things."

Elijah couldn't even answer Belle's question before being interrupted by Finn. "Am I not invited Belle? Is this my punishment for being late?" She had a wonderful response for that, but Olive cut in before anything could be said. "Don't feel bad, Finn. I didn't get invited either! I guess Belle just doesn't love us anymore," Belle held her hand up to show she had something to say. "First off, Finn you would love any punishment I gave to you," she said flirtatiously. She always flirted with Finn. He accepted it and it was clearly playful. They didn't have feelings for each other and it made it fun for the both of them. She flirted with the others as well, but not as much as she did with Finn.

"And second Eli was the only one who asked me how I was this morning. So this is everyone's punishment," she added in. It was silent a bit until Olive brought up the bonfire and asked Eli for a ride. She always asked him a ride. No one knew why he was just her go to guy. "If you're going to ask Eli for everything Olive, you mine as well hire him as a butler. Eli you wouldn't argue that would you?" Just then Alex spoke up. "Of course not. Though, you'd have to let me work around my schedule at the bistro. But..I don't mind helping you out." Elijah said in response. Belle laughed. "Any taxi money automatically goes to me anyway," she said with a shrug.

"I think the bonfire sounds like fun. It's been forever since we've all done something like that. Elijah said to her. Belle thought for a moment. "It's not a terrible idea. And I do have a thing for s'mores." After a few more silent moments of pretend thinking she eagerly agreed. Belle was always eager to do things with her friends, but she like just hanging out with Eli as well.

"You know..I do have the next couple of days off and Mom's working like crazy..I might stay over..if that's okay with you? I'd just need to swing by home to get a few things." Belle's smile grew wide. Her prayers were answered. "Of course its okay!" she said a bit too eager. "Yay sleepover!" she said clapping.

Belle checked a text message she got on her phone and sighed. She was late. 'Dammit' Luckily they didn't know where she lived or they would come and attack her. "Alright as much as I love most of you I have somewhere to be." She looked about the room. "Today I put Alex on dish duty, but the rest of you guys have to leave," she said smiling at Alex, but giving playful frowns to the rest of them.

Olive smiled down at Finn as he propped his feet into her lap, gently resting her hands on his ankles while Belle and Elijah mauled over going to the bonfire. "If you're going to ask Eli for everything Olive, you mine as well hire him as a butler. Eli you wouldn't argue that would you?" Olive looked over to Alex wide-eyed and gasped, laughing at the grin on his face. "But Elijah is so much more than a butler," she replied without missing a beat grinning over to Eli. "Of course not. Though, you'd have to let me work around my schedule at the bistro. But..I don't mind helping you out." "That's why I.." Olive trailed off. She didn't dare say 'that's why I love you so much', because that would just hurt both of them. "Keep you around," she finished gently, with only half the amount of playfulness she had previously. Luckily, Belle piped up to take the attention away. It was while Belle was speaking that Olive's lap was jostled by Daisy nearly throwing herself onto Finn.

Elijah said something to the effect of agreeing to go, but Olive was busy messing with Daisy. "Hey, easy there love birds," she chuckled. When she tuned back into the conversation, she heard Eli say "...I might stay over..if that's okay with you? I'd just need to swing by home to get a few things." Olive bit down, hard. It was normal. Totally normal. She had slept over at Alex's and Finn's house before. Plenty of times, actually. It's just what they did. They were all friends. "Alright as much as I love most of you I have somewhere to be. Today I put Alex on dish duty, but the rest of you guys have to leave," Belle chirped. Olive raised a brow but decided to say nothing instead. Gently, she moved Finn's feet away from her lap and stood. "Tough luck, Alex," Olive said playfully, casting a smile over toward him regarding the dishes he would have to do.

Olive looked to Elijah, who was her ride... well, everywhere really. "Guess we should get going then, Eli," she said with a shrug. "Do you think we could stop by my ballet studio on the way back to my place? I need to pick up my bag from my locker," she added as she pulled her hair to one side and looked up at him innocently. She offered him a shy smile, then turned back to Daisy and the boys. "So are you three coming to the bonfire, then? Everyone will just meet Eli and I there?" She glanced around everyone for conformation and then made her rounds giving everyone gentle hug- everyone but Elijah, that is. As she came to him she hesitated and blushed. "Well, I guess I'm technically going with you, so... no real reason to say goodbye." Olive turned to the others and smiled. "See you all tonight, then!" With that, she'd wait for Elijah to say his goodbyes and then follow him to the car when he was ready to leave.

"Awwwww dish duties guys, come on help a bro out. Finn? Eli? Olive? Daisy?" Finally Alex accepted his cruel fate, and let the people say their farewells. Atleast he would rejoin them all later for a bonfire, which was pretty exciting to him. But then, as he stared at the sink, it seemed to laugh at him. he hated doing dishes and other chores, but it was for Belle so he didn't mind quite as much. He walked over to the collection of plates and began the hot water, a little while later, with only a few burns, he was done. "That wasn't terrible I guess." He looked around, and again was lost. 'God, this is embarrassing.' Alex thought to himself. Then he saw the couch with some blankets and pillows.

To:Belle
From:Alex
Hey, I kinda got lost in your house again. I've accepted my fate and made a small fort of pillows. Hope this isn't a bad time. Bai!

Alex Lay in the little teepee and stared, thinking on the news he received earlier from Daisy. 'Wow, I hope this doesn't cause a problem...' A stupid thought but sincere in a way. He had never wanted to have he group separate. They were really all he had. They were his sunshine on a bad day, and what kept him around. It hurt, knowing Daisy and him couldn't keep this a secret forever, and Finn, along with the rest, would learn their little secret. Strangely however, Alex thought the floor was soft, and cozy. And after a few moments of thought he found himself asleep on the floor, in his little fort.

"That's why I.." Olive trailed off. "Keep you around," Elijah caught her hesitation though thought nothing of it. They'd been so used to saying such things to each other even before they had started dating that even now it was normal for them to say such things to each other. Though, that didn't mean that there was no pain there. He said nothing to her comment though he'd wanted to. Belle then piped up, saying that it was fine if he wanted to stay the night over. It had been some time since they'd done that and honestly he just didn't want to be in his house. Ever since his father had left..the place had felt rather..empty. It didn't help that he was normally there by himself.

Not a few moments later, Bellle was saying that she had to leave as did everyone save for Alex. "Have fun with that." he said to Alex, feeling bad for the young man that had been chosen to take care of the mess that had been left by everyone. Elijah looked to Olive, meeting her gaze for only a moment before she spoke to him. "Guess we should get going then, Eli. Do you think we could stop by my ballet studio on the way back to my place? I need to pick up my bag from my locker." His blue eyes continued to watch Olive as she pulled her hair to the side, and then she smiled shyly at him before turning her gaze back to the others. "Yea. And..I think that I can manage that. I'm in no hurry today." Elijah said, smiling at Olive.

"So are you three coming to the bonfire, then? Everyone will just meet Eli and I there?" Olive asked the others. Elijah watched as his ex made her way around the room, saying her goodbyes. She hugged everyone..and he couldn't help but wish she'd hug him..like she'd used to. He could see her hesitation when she came to him. "Well, I guess I'm technically going with you, so... no real reason to say goodbye." she said. He placed a fake smile upon his face, agreeing with her. He then turned to everyone, waving goodbye to them and saying that he'd see them later that day.

He led the way back out of Belle's home and to his car. He opened the car door for Olive, waiting for her to get in before shutting it once again. He then made his way to the other side of the car, getting in. He quickly fastened his seatbelt before pulling out of the driveway. The drive to Olive's ballet studio seemed to last forever..at least for Eli. It had been so awkward since they'd broken up. He still wasn't over her and in all honesty..he could not see himself with anyone other than Olive. He knew that it wasn't healthy to keep holding on like that..but..he just couldn't help it.

At last, they arrived at the studio. He assumed that she didn't want or need him to go in with her so he made no move to get out of the car. He pulled his phone out, checking over any updates that he had. There were several..as always. He began skimming through those, typing up a few replies and sending them in. He then placed his phone back in his pocket, his gaze watching for Olive to come back out to join him. He knew that he'd been rather quiet on the trip there and he was sure that Olive had noticed it. He just couldn't help it. He had so many thoughts and feelings running through his being and in all honesty..it left him rather confused most of the time.

Finn bit into the side of his lip, smirking slightly as Belle cooed "First off Finn, you would love any punishment, I gave you" her voice dripping with flirtation. He turned and gave her a sideways smirk as he lowered his voice in a seductive and ridiculous manner "Only if they would involve whips and chains, babe". He winked at Belle before she could reply he had already burst out in laughter. Him and Belle had always gone back and forth like this but neither of them had even quite meant anything. It was just meaningless entertainment for the both of them and Daisy never had quite minded.

Finn rested his head against one of the pillows waiting for a sharp retort when he looked over. That's when he heard the small approaching footsteps, he quickly pulled his head forward and broke into a grin to see Daisy. He looked over as he took in Alex's presence beside her but it made sense as they had dissapear together, they'd walk back to the group together. It made sense. Perfect sense and everyone was friends and there was no tension. None at all. He kept biting his lip to refrain from allowing a frown to take place on his lips "If you're going to ask Eli for everything Olive, you might as well hire him as a butler he heard Alex say, he didn't even have to look over to know their was going to be a smirk on his lips and the knowing look most people contained when they watched Eli's and Olive's interactions.

Finn's uneasily scratched his neck as he felt a pair of eyes viewing him. He looked over curiously to see Daisy studying him with a peculiar expression. He felt his body flood with warmth as Daisy slipped her arms so easily around him. He felt her arms tighten around him and he clutched her arm as his heart pounded faster and faster. After all this time dating her, he never had gotten quite used to it. The random and unusual times where she'd pull him closer or impulsively kiss her, the butterflies never flew, every time he saw her, they flew faster and swifter then he thought imaginable. He pulled her closer to his chest and met her eyes. They were the colour of november autumn leaves as they began to fall gracefully and lose the shades of orange, red and yellow they once were. "I love you" Daisy muttered against his chest in a soft and vulnerable voice he rarely heard from her. He did everything to resist from shaking his head, how could someone like her, love someone as ghastly as himself? He was nothing special, nor was he quite attractive or smart, he was just Finn. He was helplessly destructive, idiotic and wasn't worth anyone times. Then there was Daisy, she was a meteor shower, she was everything he wasn't and yet she loved him. He pulled her in closer whispering "I love you too" as he watched her glance fleetingly at Alex before rejoining his embrace.

"Hey easy there love birds" he heard Olive say. He let out a small chuckle tilted his chin innocently as he leaned over quietly tazering her sides as he watched her reaction. He looked over at the others but it was just Belle looking over at her phone typically expressionless, he watched her brown eyes trailed upwards as she told everyone "Alright as much as I love most of you I have somewhere to be. Today I put Alex on dish duty, but the rest of you guys have to leave". Finn gave Olive a playful disapproving frown but she didn't appear to notice it as she turned to Eli already. He shrugged it off as he turned to Daisy "Hey, if you want. I could grab my car and drive you to the bonfire tonight? I just need to get it from my mom's house and it'd be a shame for you to show up alone" He told her as she slung his arm away from her and picked himself off the couch. He stood there waiting for Daisy with a patient and pleasant smile on his face.

Daisy sighed and untangled herself from Finn when Belle told them she had to leave. She tossed Alex a playful smile, seeing as he had dish duty. "You heard the girl. All of us have to go- except for you." She grinned at him, and winked.
When Finn spoke, she turned back to him. She couldn't help but smile back at his patient look. "It's alright, I can drive you. My aunt forgot her bag, so I have to take it to her at the hospital, anyways. I'll swing by and get you after."
She received Olive's hug, and gave a friendly wave to the others. She gave Finn a light kiss, and turned to Alex, just for a moment. She gazed at him, before giving an affectionate smile. With a quick sigh, she turned back to the others for a moment. "Farewell!" She said with a smile. "Come on, Bear!" She called over her shoulder as she left. Her dog immediately jumped up and rushed after. She gave the house one last look, before getting into her car with Bear and driving home.

To: Alex
Hey, come by when you're finished if you can. :)

Daisy laid on her bed, with her dog beside her. The massive beast was already fast asleep, snoring loudly. "Quiet down, you." She laughed, gently patting him. With a sigh, she stared at the ceiling. She sniffles, and brushed away a tear. God, everything made her cry now. She cried at the dog food commercial. The dog food commercial.
"What are we going to do, Bear?" She asked the snoring hound. She smiled softly, and watched him sleep for a few minutes. It was almost soothing. Every now and then, his paw would twitch and he''do growl or let out a soft bark.

"Alex wake up" He heard the faint call followed by a shake. "I didn't do it, whatever you are after me for." He yawned then opened his eyes to see Belle. "Well good Afternoon Belle, how long have you been there?" He chuckled a little, but wasn't complaining about being with Belle. In fact he didn't mind at all. "Guess I'm messing up you plans then huh?" He didn't want to go but then noticed his phone.

From: Daisy
To: Alex
Hey, come by when you're finished if you can. :)

"Alright, I'll go. He got up and walked to the door. "Have a good day Belle"

He started driving over to Daisy's house. Then what she told him flooded back into his head. That seemed to put him in a little more urgent speed. As he parked and walked over to the door, he hesitated. Some of him wanted to bolt out of there, but for the most he was prepared. He opened the door and called out. "Daisy, where are you?"

Daisy swung her legs over the side of her bed, and hopped off. She wrapped her arms around herself, as she walked around the rather massive house. Her aunt had five spare rooms, not including the two bedrooms in use. The house almost looked like it was meant for entertaining- it had a grand entrance, with two staircases curving out from a great balcony. There were two floors, and Daisy's loft. Her room was connected to the second floor with a spiral stairs case, decorated with iron roses. It was cute for abut two hours- it was a real pain to go up and down.

Daisy stood in the center on the grand balcony, overlooking the large foyer. Her golden amber eyes traced over the great wooden door. Not two minutes later, Alex entered. She blinked, surprised. "Up here!" She called, her heart fluttering as she made her way down the stairs, keeping her eyes on him the entire time. Part of her had still expected him to leave her, and pretend it never happened. But there he was, with his deep blue eyes, floppy black hair, and charming smile. A smile found its way onto her lips. "Here, come in." She bumped the door with her hip, and it gently swung shut. She led him up to the second floor, then up to her loft. Being on the top floor, she had skylights and long windows. Light poured into her room, and warmed her skin. He had been to house many times before, but still glanced back a couple times. Each time, he'd catch her eye and she'd smile at him.
Daisy sat down on her bed, elbowing Bear off and pushing over for Alex. She studied his hands, enjoying the warmth of the sunlight before making eye contact. "I'm sorry. " she blurted. She sighed, sweeping the golden curls off of her shoulder. "I'm keeping it." Daisy whispered firmly, resting her hand on her abdomen. "Do you want to be part of their life? I won't make you. Its only up to you." Her amber eyes searched his clear blue ones, and she wrapped her arms around herself again. She rested her head on his shoulder, fighting the urge to wrap her arms around him and curl up in his arms.

"Do you want to be part of their life? I won't make you. Its only up to you." Alex looked to Daisy as she said that, and gave her a well needed hug. "Hey, Daisy, relax." He could feel her warmth, and he felt incredible, in her moment of doubt. "I'm in this too, and you don't worry alright?" He gave her a quick kiss on the head and looked in her eyes. Her comforting, warming, amber eyes. "I love you, and I did this too. We are in this together, no matter what. and we can make it work, somehow someway." He hugged her again. He was still scared, but he thought she needed him, no matter what she said, so he'd stay there. "Now, let's go out and see the town. Whataya say?" He took his phone and checked movies and such, things to get her mind off of the world, and let her have fun. He hopped off her bed and extended his hand to Daisy, "Come on beautiful, the world awaits you."

Daisy threw her arms around Alex when he hugged her. It was the kind of tight hug that you throw your entire being into. They were so close, she could feel his heartbeat. Being like this soothed her, and made her feel so much better. He pulled back to gaze into her eyes, and she smiled warmly at him. She nodded when he told her not to worry, that he was a part of this too. "I love you, and I did this too. We are in this together, no matter what. and we can make it work, somehow someway." He told her, and she melted. She felt all of her fears evaporate.
He hugged her again, and she rested her cheek on his shoulder. "I love you too. So much." She whispered. These words uplifted her, and killed her at the same time. She did love him, with every fiber of her being. But she was in love with Finn, too.
