Alex listened to the goddesses argument thoroughly "Because your cute. And I was born to stop love and that is what you were born to create." Alex blushed lightly. He didn't seem lust of humans and Styx's current form was booming more with rebellion that beauty."If you want me to go you can just ask. But you know as well as I that I will just come back. You can't keep me out of here." Alex sighed knowing he couldn't let this girl get away and make more problems for him. He knew that she showed loved too and if he could bring it out possibly he could use her powers on his side. "That guy is really gonna get it. I will ruin him but the whole time he will think I'm just some annoying girl. Now unless you have something else to say. I am gonna go ruin some couples." Alex had a brain storm. "I have one thing that could possibly change your mind. " he said calmly, it was gonna be a longshot but still was worth a shot. "I know what you want and I prepared to give it too you but you must promise me not to interfere with any mortal's love while it is in effect, agreed" he said. She knew what he meant by it but Alex was still unsure whether or not she would take it.

Sebastian

"I had an accident. I really don't like to talk about it."

Sebastian glanced away, feeling guilty he'd brought it up. "Sorry jolie," He apologized briefly, trying not to linger if she didn't like talking about it. "I'm often over stepping comfort zones, Une habitude de la mienne, je m'excuse encore une fois."
He glanced at the door as more people steadily filed in, including an interesting figure that tried to barge into two 'singles' before being pulled away by the head waiter. There was something off about these people that his Synesthesia screamed, but it didn't seem bad. Except that girl. She seemed like trouble.

"I have a neurological condition." He said simply to Theo, smiling slightly, trying to change the subject. He wanted to talk to her, she seemed interesting, but he just wasn't used to dealing with such shy people.

(sorry for bad posts, im failing three classes and trying to catch up with the work haha)

((nah, s'okay. i have evil control freak parents. they react to b's the way most parents react to f's...))
Theo didn't want to talk. "Really, what kind?" She asked, distracting him as she started to subtly fiddle with her phone. And...cue! The phone rang with the tune she had chosen. She had thought 'Hurry Up and Save Me' was quite the appropriate tune for her get-out-of-awkward-situations phone call. Which was calling her cousin. Of course, her cousin did the same thing with her. Mutual benefits and all that.
She gave Sebastian the one minute sign, flipping her phone open. "Hello? Yeah, went out...no, you never told me...haven't seen you in ages...no, I can't believe it...no need to get prima on me, darling......I'll break it off......oh, okay. Love you too, Nick."
She snapped the phone shut. "Sorry. I have to go. I've just set myself up for a date."
In an ordinary circumstance she would feel sad. For the person mentioning her eye patch, she had no pity.
She waved over a waiter. "How much?"

"I know what you want and I prepared to give it too you but you must promise me not to interfere with any mortal's love while it is in effect, agreed"

Nicky stopped in her tracks and stared Alex right into the eyes. "Are you kidding me. This has to be a joke!" She sat down on the chair and bit her lip. She always wanted Alex but would she give up what she was born to do. "I want you but love isn't real and I can't fall for your trap!" She understood what he was doing no it was a trap. "You might be good looking smart and.. Um I forgot what I was saying. Oh yeah you are trying to turn me into one of those mindless mortals that thinks love is real. And it worked!" She grabbed his arm and held him close to her. "I'm still gonna get that guy that mocked me. He's not gonna know what hit him." She rested her head on his shoulder and blushed this is what she dreamed of for years.

Oh yeah you are trying to turn me into one of those mindless mortals that thinks love is real. And it worked!" Alex was ecstatic, "This proves that love is real. I just set himself up with the goddess of hate." he said in his head. She pulled him closer and he blushed as well then kissed her on the forehead. "I'm still gonna get that guy that mocked me. He's not gonna know what hit him." Alex cringed but knew that a few hearts had to be broken to find the right match. " Okay then hows about a date maybe I'll meet you in the park around Six for say?" he said smiling.

Sebastian

The French boy shrugged as Theo announced she had to leave, then asked about the price. He quickly raised a hand to wave her off, still smiling.

"Don't worry 'tea-ooh', I'll pay," He blinked happily at her. "Maybe I'll see you around if you don't hate me to much. Adieu."

Sebastian glanced around at the other people in the singles section. He didn't particularly like sitting alone, which is why he had tried to start conversation with Theo in the first place, though that hadn't gone to well all together. So perhaps he shouldn't approach anyone else. That might end up better.

He fished a twenty from his messenger bag, bumping his camera. Huh, he'd forgotten he'd had his camera! Anyway, he wasn't a fan f carrying a wallet. Everything was to organized in those things, not like he had credit cards or that much cash to line one with. He preferred to keep everything in the secret pocket of his bag, which he always carried with him.

As the waiteress neared he held up the twenty. "I'll be paying for that girl whose just leaving as well, et aussi, another latte for me?" He smiled in thanks, throwing Theo a backwards wave.
If she had things to do he wouldn't beg her to stay.

Nicky smiled super large. "Just to be clear this is not love. Love is not real it is just a made up emotion." She turned away and said under her breath. "And I'm feeling it." She turned back around to get a kiss on her forehead. She almost fainted her face was bright red she sat down. She couldn't believe all of this was happening. It was just amazing but at the same time she felt like he was using her. She was just glad that it was happening. She looked up at him

"Okay then hows about a date maybe I'll meet you in the park around Six for say?"

"Yes!!" She jumped out of her chair "I would love that! It would be amazing." She realized that Alex would have to get to work but what would she do she didn't have to go to school and she didn't have any commitments. She shrugged "Well I'll let you get back to work." She sat down at the table. "Can I have some cake? Just get me any thing that you think is good."

Kalina picked up her drink. 'Mmm, Ginger Ale~' She smiled slightly. But how did it get here? Oh well, she probably ordered it and forgot about it. She glanced around. A bigger guy was drinking a Flat White, and they made eye contact awkwardly. She looked away immediately. She had an urge to get up and leave, but she didn't want to be rude to the owner and workers. 'Stay calm. You're fine. So someone was looking around at the same time. It's okay.' Might as well finish this Ginger Ale anyway...

(Short. Sorry.)

Alex smiled "Just to be clear this is not love. Love is not real it is just a made up emotion." she said but Alex just smirked on the inside. He could sense her heart was on cloud nine no matter how small nor dark it was it was happy. "Yes!! I would love that! It would be amazing." Alex nodded then looked back at her. "Well I'll let you get back to work. Can I have some cake? Just get me any thing that you think is good." she was now acting somewhat nice a pleasant change from the usual annoying girl he was used to knowing. He nodded then went in the back to grab a piece of spice cake. He knew it was her favorite but he decided to put a small dash of Cariad in it. It was taste less and flavorless but it would make her more happy while not altering the food. He went back out then put it in front of her. "Hoşlanmak!" he said happily then went back behind the counter and into the back room to try and calm his nerves.

Aria Christiansen
~The Nerd~

Aria stayed at the hospital for about an hour and was finally allowed to see her brother. He got a few stitches in his head and his CAT scan's came back clean. He didn't have any permanent damage. In fact, when Aria got into the room he was coherent. Mia ran over to him and kissed him. Aria had half a mind to hit him. The first thing that came out of his mouth was "I suppose dancing in the shower isn't the BEST idea in the world" he chuckled. Aria glared at him and then smiled. "You NEED to be more careful. I honestly thought you were going to die for awhile." she hugged him and touched his forehead. "Does it hurt?" she asked softly. "No" he laughed "not really."

A nurse came in and told him that they'd be able to discharge him in about an hour, and Aria was relieved. Once the doctors came in, assessed medication protocol with him, and ran a few more tests he was able to go home. Aria drove them all home and cleaned up the mess in the bathroom. She emerged to find that her brother and his girlfriend locked themselves in his room. "Alright I get the idea. I'll go. Just make sure he doesn't die Mia" she joked.

Aria went to the only place she could think of. Back to Love Cafe. She took a seat back in the singles section and put a weak smile on her face. "Black coffee extra strong with a shot of espresso please." she stated.

Corinne groaned as the sun shone on her face, the reason that had forced her awake. The groan was almost inaudible, and she had to blink several times before remembering why. She had slept as a rabbit again. She was lying on her side and she stretched, extending her short limbs as far as she could. Sighing, she sat up straight and hopped off the bed, landing on the floor with an oomph. A cloud of sparkles engulfed her and within a moment she was back in her humanoid form. The downside to her shape shifting was that she wore no clothing as a rabbit, and was just as naked when she transformed back. Well, not like anyone ever barged into her room. A yawn soon followed as she looked down at her digital clock. Her eyes watered up after the yawn, and she thought she was still dreaming when she saw the time. Immediately her eyes widened and she quickly threw on her uniform and a pair of clean socks. She quickly combed her long purple hair and headed out her room, slipping on her shoes on her way out. Corinne quietly entered the café section wondering where Arrow or Alex was.

She saw him walk into the back room, looking quite stressed. Or annoyed? She couldn't really tell. Because he seemed somewhat occupied, she went to the counter and took the red head's order. She smiled at the girl and replied, "Hi there, I'll do that for you. Boss is taking a short break." Quickly and efficiently she made the girl's order and slid them towards her. "Here you go. Enjoy! Boss should be back soon." After she finished she went towards the kitchen and sent a quick telepathic message to Alex.

Boss, sorry I woke up late! I'm just going to go ask Arrow if he needs anything from the market. Be back soon!"

She then turned back and tried to guess where the baker was. Oh please don't tell me Arrow's baking already... She quickly peeked inside the kitchen and to her dismay, he was. Corinne sighed. He took his baking so seriously. She remembered interrupting him before and intruding his kitchen. The situation ended with her frozen before him after he sent a knife flying in her direction. He missed. Thank god. He probably meant to throw his rolling pin, she had just caught him in the middle of slicing fruits or something like that back then. Now knowing better, she knocked on the door to the kitchen, waiting for him to either answer it or even just give some sort of signal that she was allowed within his sacred zone.

Mei

“Hmm?” Mei murmured in a bored tone, as if nothing in the least could startle her as she felt some weight applied on her left shoulder. Turning her head slightly, she sighted a familiar looking soufflé upon her shoulder, serving as the reason for the extra weight she had managed to pick up on despite her head being occupied for the time being, rummaging through observations of human interactions. A possible couple was forming; that of a brown haired boy possessing a strong aura of a troubled soul sitting with a girl with radiant long hair carrying flowers as decoration. The corners of her mouth twitched slightly to that of a smile before resuming a blank expression as she placed the tray of drinks on the counter seeing as no other customers wanted water at the moment. Also because she was aware that she was becoming distracted which would heighten the chances of a coordination error that could start an avoidable mess. She had smiled because the possibility of a couple forming was fortunate, if there was any cure for a troubled soul.. it would surely be love.

The neatly made bun of Mei’s hair seemed to bounce with life as she turned around noticing one of the customers call for her attention. With Cupid pet’s in soufflé form tagging along, she wasn’t sure if it would be wise to continue her duties.. wondering if humans could see the creature or not. It would be a startling sight and she was a rookie angel afterall causing her to doubt what humans could and couldn’t see that angels could easily discern. Figuring everything would work out and Cupid wouldn’t be so careless to let his pet roam free given the circumstances, she went on a whim and carried on. If all went well, humans would think she was just a very good balancer, managing to carry a plate of a pastry on her shoulder with no trouble at all. It was at that moment, the conclusion of her to-be actions, that she detected a pale girl with an unusual eye patch walk past her, leaving the very customer she was about to attend to. The girl’s aura was unmistakably that of a troubled soul, not as strong as the other boy earlier but it still caused Mei’s eyes to instinctively shift to the corner for a quick glance at the girl’s departure whilst continuing to make her way and carry on with her job. As much as Mei disliked sensing troubled humans that filled her with a natural desire to alter their lives for the better, she was also aware it may not be the right time for that or wished upon. Perhaps another time when Mei had polished her angelic abilities and understood more about the human world, she would consider intervening. For now, she was a rookie angel who had been serving under Cupid’s guidance for a week so far since the opening of Slice O’ Heaven and it was quite a worthy position indeed for someone like her of little to no experience of meddling in human affairs.

She halted at the table, maintaining a reasonable distance between her and the male customer where personal space would not be an issue but close enough for her to be able to hear even the quietest of voiced requests. Neatly entwining her fingers in front of her lap, she awaited to hear what orders she would be taking from this particular male individual. He had messy black hair and an accent she wasn’t familiar with that almost seemed alien- a funny comparison for an angel but she hadn’t really been out and about to have heard much accents to begin with. Certain customers were discernible through their manner of speaking, it was fairly intriguing. Mei knew she had much to learn but one thing she had definitely learned from the work experience was that every human was different in good ways, bad ways and neutral ways. Despite the accent, she understood his general orders and bowed her head slightly in respect. “It shall be done.” She said rather formally, albeit a little too much for the atmosphere of a café but nonetheless it was a part of her personality. “Will that be all young sir?” She clarified, her head lifted back upright as her flower hairpin glistened against the sun’s rays touch beautifully stretched beyond the café curtains.

"Hoşlanmak!"

Nicky smiled she grabbed her fork and took a huge chunk out of it and took a bit. All of the sudden she was extremely happy even more than she was. She kept eating it "This is great!" Once she finished she sat back and started to think about things. Why does he all of the sudden want to date her and why would he be ok with her breaking that one guys heart. It's like he accepted her finally. She looked back at him and then looked away then she noticed two stupid humans falling in love. One French dude and the pirate girl. She wanted to jump out of her chair run over to them and start to make it awkward for them but then Alex would be mad. She just stared at them. While she was looking at the pirate she thought how could a French cutie end up with One eyed Lilly. But then it clicked to her why would Alex date her he is like 6 years older than her! She put her head in her arms she was thinking to hard.

Zachary took only a few thoughtless steps out of the cafe before he paused and looked both ways. He wasn't too sure what he was even going to do right now, truth be told. Then again, this happened just about every single day lately. Sure, he could go home and do his job, which consisted of playing video games like a fiend and sitting around. Normally, that was a very appetizing thought, but he longed for some changed. This is where his own reluctancy to make friends was beginning to bite him in the ass.

Still unsure about where he should take this day, he popped in his earbuds and turned on some music. He unconciously rocked his head ever-so-slightly as he listened to the music, which was building up almost like a movie. He was still running different course of action through his head like if he should go shopping or do something productive. He was sad to find out that there wasn't anything productive he could do at the moment, and was about to just give up and go straight home when his music hit 2:22 and out of nowhere......

*SCREEEEEEEEEECH*

"!"

Zachary looked up, just barely hearing the tires moaning as they tried their best to stop the runaway vehicle on a collision course with... him. He didn't notice it early enough to think, so he jumped towards the smaller truck and tried his best to ball himself up. He slammed against the windshield, or rather, it slammed against him and he rolled up it with some are before he smacked right back down on the sidewalk, unmoving and if he was still even alive or concious, he was feeling extreme amounts of pain. The truck however, managed to miss the cafe and continued going until it crashed into the wall of another building and stopped.

Arrow

Closing the ovens he finally let himself smile. Break time. Well, until the pastries were ready. He wiped his hands on his apron and then heard some knocking at the kitchen door. He turned and smiled as he noticed Corrine there. He probably looked a mess, what with flour, batter, chocolate and some other stuff covering him in small splotches. Still, he was a baker. It was to be expected. Skipping over to the kitchen door and opened it. “Hello Core, how are you this fine day?” he said smiling before finally asking, “So whats up? Needed me?”

He scanned the place as he waited for her reply and noticed Alex off to the side with Nick. His chirpy smile faltered for a moment but resumed once more. Nick was a trouble maker; one that had caused more than a bit of mischief, all circling around Alex… but it’s been quite obvious what the reason was. He gave a wave in the direction of her colorful head before scanning the place.

Farrah Nicolai

Farrah hardly noticed her surrounding while she tried to regroup. She shook her head trying to think of why she was being emotional all of a sudden. She frowned at herself feeling bewildered and confused. With a deep breath in, she reigned in everything and blowing it all out slowly, she started to feel like herself again. Still, the bitter feeling that she’d felt when she’d discovered her brother was going to marry was no longer there. Her brother deserved to be happy. She knew she was just piling all guys in the same group but one had to admit she never had a good example… well, other than her brothers. She chuckled at that thought.

Jean had always and will probably always be a geek. In his younger years he’d always been awkward with girls and so very clumsy. He still sort of was but he’d been dating this girl lately. A miracle really but it was true. She hadn’t thought anything of it… but now he was marrying her. And then there was Gyorg. Dear, dear Gyor. He’d been a loner. Still was but much less so than before. He has yet to take on the challenge of… well, women. He liked to keep to himself but if you were lucky enough to be one of the few people who he want to be around… you’d be sure to fall in love with him.

Turning her seat around, she dashed thoughts of her brothers for later and took in the café. She noticed a pretty big guy sitting a few seats down from her. He kind of reminded her of someone but she could quite remember who… She tilted her head and smiled knowing she wasn’t going to be able to sleep until she figured it out. Turning, she noticed a couple in the “Couples” section had entered when she wasn’t paying attention. Not so far from them was another big guy. This one looking more… what’s the word… official? Menacing? Meh, who knows? The French guy and the eye patch girl. A girl with rainbow hair. She paused at that one and smiled thinking, Done that. Enough people watching, time to go.

She reached down to the pocket she’d sown into her antique dress but found it empty. She blinked then looked down but saw nothing. Standing up she searched around her chair. Maybe it fell out…? Nada. Nothing.

She cursed under her breath and ran a hand through her now pink hair (she went natural that week). How was she going to pay now? She was sure she had it in her pocket, had even made sure it was there before entering. It must have fallen out. She looked at the counter for a moment. Sighing she looked around the café looking for the guy so she could arrange something. Maybe she could work for it or something.

(I'm sorry it took so long to post! I'm not use to fast rp's)

She sighed in relief seeing that Arrow was finally done baking. Seeing him walk out of the kitchen covered in many assortments of baking ingredients she started to chuckle. Reaching into her uniform pocket she pulled out a handkerchief and wiped off some splotches of batter that had somehow attached itself to his face. "Morning love," she greeted with a smile. "I kind of just woke up, so my day has not been very eventful so far," she said with a nervous laugh. "Oh yeah, did you need me to flash to the market? I think you mentioned yesterday we were running low on something." Corinne had a habit of calling people by a pet name, whether or not they were close to her. The only exception to this was the person she called 'Boss'. For him, the only name she ever called him was 'Boss'.

Also, normally she wouldn't teleport to the market because there was a chance of humans seeing her magically appear out of nowhere. However on some busy days she cuts time when she decides to use it, making sure she warped into a secluded place where people won't see her.

While she was waiting for Arrow to reply, the sound of a loud screech came from outside the café. Her head snapped towards the direction of the sound that was soon followed by a crash. Worried, she ran outside the café and inspected the scene. There was a boy lying in the middle of the road, obviously battered. Oh no... She rushed next to him and knelt beside him. "Hey!" she called out. "Can you hear me?!" She pulled out her cell phone and dialed the ambulance's number frantically. Dammit.... Mei. Where was Mei?

Mei! Can you hear me?! Someone's hurt outside!

Alex sighed and kept drinking eventually downing another cup of coffee which wasn't good. He kept pacing about trying to think of a way he could get the goddess to stay happy and away from meddling in human's lives. He didn't want to think about love for the moment. He was the god of love and a master at it but ironically enough he was a klutz when it came to love. He heard Corrie talk to him and nodded not wanting to respond truley. He went back out to the counter and began to wipe it down again his favorite past time. He hummed a small tune as he spotted BonBon who was on Mei's shoulder and then jumped to his master when their eyes met. The pastry jumped across the floor and onto Alex's shoe which made him laugh. "A boy and his cake." he said to himself laughing.

Theo just shrugged. "Suit yourself." She'd find a way to pay him back eventually. She hated owing people.
She gave a sardonic smile as she walked away. She did kinda hate him at the point. If she liked the eye patch, she would talk about it.
She headed towards the train station, where her cousin was at the minute. She had no idea that Nick was going to be visiting at all. As she slipped inside, she immediately found her cousin. She just had to search for bright blue hair. She waved. Nick ran over, grinning. "Theo!!!"
Theo frowned. "Why do I get the feeling you're out to drag attention over."
Her cousin smiled widely. "Not at all. What awkward situation did you wiggle yourself out of?"
Theo glared with her good eye. "Eye. Patch."
Her cousin winced. "Ouch. By the way, I'm staying overnight."
Theo shrugged. "Let's go."
Her cousin followed, chatting about this and that. Theo was trying to avoid the cafe, but her cousin saw it. "Ooh! A cafe! Theo, you're taking me there, right?"
Theo glared, dragging the words out through clenched teeth. "Not at all. That's where the annoying boy was."
Wrong thing to say. Her cousin shrieked in delight. "It was a boy? C'mon, we're going in." Theo scowled as she was dragged into the cafe less than ten minutes after leaving it.

Sebastian

Sebastian smiled at the pretty waitress as she accepted his money and request, rather formally.
"Will that be all young sir?”

He knew the formality was probably mostly for the job, though perhaps it was her real personality, which would be interesting. It reminded Sebastian of his old butlers, maids and chauffeurs. Not in an 'I'm better than you way'. Being an only child, and often being alone in his house back in France, Sebastian had been friends with the staff since he was young. They all got along genuinely well, except for when Sebastian decided to pull pranks on them, but this waitress brought on a pang of sadness at the memory.
It had been a large step to leave France and set out on his own in America, especially since he refused to accept money. This had been his way to pursue his passion in his own way, away from his families influences. Despite that, he was often plagued with homesickness for his country.

"Oui, c'est tout, merci," He said absently, lost in a memory of the plentiful little cafe's in France. He followed the glimmering pattern of the waitresses hairpiece as the morning sun cast it into pretty sparkling patterns. He slowly drifted back to Slice O Heaven, looking over the waitress. She was quite pretty, and couldn't have been older than him. If anything, she looked a bit younger, though her calm sophisticated persona added age in wisdom on her delicate form. There was sort of a higher presence lingering around her, that made Sebastian feel as though he were in the company of someone very high and important. But then, perhaps that was the latte.

He snapped out of it quickly, scratching his head awkwardly. "Er, sorry, thank you," He gave the little lopsided grin he so often had when feeling awkward and held out the twenty he had offered earlier for her to take.

His head turned slightly to the side as the bell on the door jingled, signaling new arrivals, but didn't pay it much attention, wanting to get out some sort of compliment to the waitress about her professionalism or something before she maneuvered away.
'you're quite professional, that's a good trait for working, perhaps you're way this place has so many costumers, aside from the great food and drinks of course,"

Of course, that's how it sounded in his head, though it came out more like,
"You're, uh, nice, and pretty, er, you must get a lot of customers. The foods good too though..."

At this he actually felt heat creeping up in neck, feelings probably akin to someone who had just insulted the Queen in someway.

Miki Rin

Miki walked down the street in a strange sort of fashion, like someone doing half a dance but not wanting to bust out the full moves, made even more awkward looking by her forward movement. Of course, a dance is what she was doing, for she had an audition later that day for a rather important role, and if she landed it, her name might get out more by other means than last months big production. She was proud of her work, despite the fact that it had been ballet. She would rather her hip-hop was showcased, though she was exceptional at both in a non conceited way. After all, you weren't just average after an average of 15 hours of dance a week. On a good week.
She sighed and dropped her body movements, content for the moment to practice in her head. She still had a couple hours before school. Miki supposed she could practice, but this was one of the rare times she was not in the mood. It was never good for her to practice to intensely the day of an audition. She'd become much to stiff and paranoid. Better to trust in her skills.
She turned the corner and glanced up from the sidewalk, where she was avoiding cracks.

And her mouth dropped.

A truck had collided with a wall by some means or another, and from Miki's view she could see the driver slumped against the wheel. A bit ways back in the road, a boy was laying sprawled with an young woman by him.
There wasn't much of a crowd, but the streets were rather empty. The other girl had probably called 911, but despite that Miki ripped a cell phone out of her school bag, throwing that and her dance duffle to the side before sprinting over the the truck as she dialed.

"911, whats your emergency?"

Miki quickly described the scene and the location, at which the woman informed her an ambulance had been dispatched a few minutes earlier from another call. Miki sighed in relief and set about prying the car door open. She realized quickly she wasn't strong enough, despite lean muscles from dance tricks.
"Hey, sir, are you awake?"
The man groaned in answer and jerked back, leaning his head back on the seat. Miki saw a shard of glass deep in his forehead and cringed.
She hoped back and exaimed the crash, heart dropping in shock when she saw peels of flame licking out from under the hood.
"Sir, I'll be right back, don't move!"
Like he could...

Miki sprinted to the other girl next to the boys side.
"Hey, so, I'm not much of a car expert, but that trucks engine's on fire, and cars and fire generally mean explosion. I don't know anything about the police either, so you might want to key them in to send a firetruck or something if I cant find an extinguisher!"
She was frazzled, even more so when she saw the condition of the unconscious boy, but knew she had to stay calm.

Corinne noticed a younger girl run over to the scene. At this point, the angel was frantic and unsure what to do. Unlike Mei, she didn't have any healing powers, nor could she make the pain go away. She didn't touch the boy in front of her, not wanting to make anything worse. He would likely have some damage to his head, any wrong movements and she could impair his brain functions. At least he didn't look like he was hit dead on.

The girl came over and informed her about the driver that had crashed. Corinne's eyes widened. How could she have forgotten about the driver?
"No need, 911 sends cops, ambulance and firetruck all at once. Just in case. I don't think they'll make it in time-" Fire extinguisher? "Hold on. Watch the boy okay?"
She leaped up and rushed into the café, grabbing the fire extinguisher than was perched on a wall. Where was Mei when she needed her?

"Sorry to disturb you guys, but we need some help out here?" she said quickly before rushing out.

She knew she shouldn't bother customers when it didn't concern them, but two people were dying right out the door. It should matter. Right? She rushed back outside and called out to the girl, "I'm going to put out the fire, let's see if we can get the man out!"

She never had to use one before, and she was glad she had read the instructions out of boredom one day. PASS. All she needed to remember. Pull the pin. She pulled the pin off to discharge the extinguisher. The next three steps she did quickly and all at once. Aim. Squeeze. Sweep. She squeezed the lever and put out the fire wherever she could, praying that she got everything before something exploded. Once the flames were put out she motioned the girl towards the door. She saw the girl try earlier and she wasn't strong enough. Maybe two of them would be enough? She only hoped. She could hear sirens, but she couldn't tell how far away they were. The café was on the outskirts of town. No wonder it was taking so long.

"Alright, ready? One, two, three-" She tugged and pulled at the door, trying to make it swing open.

Mei

Oh..? Mei turned her head slightly to find Cupid’s pet missing from its perch. She sadly didn’t have enough time to give the pet a bit more attention with the orders piling up in the café and hoped the creature and herself were not on bad terms from that. Returning her attention to her current customer, the human appeared lost in thought in a strange way. The further he dwelled in thought as the silence consumed the two, the more a troubling aura was forming around him. It wasn’t as bad of an aura as Mei had sensed before lessening the concern towards the situation, just a memory perhaps? "Oui, c'est tout, merci,” The customer seemed to be talking to himself a little so Mei just stood at her post patiently in case another order would spring to mind. It would be rude to just wander away even though in her perspective, he was taking quite a while to zoom back into the current reality. "Er, sorry, thank you," he grinned, offering the 20 dollar bill towards her. “No need for an apology sir, it’s quite alright.” Mei responded politely, unexpectedly lingering as her fingertips touched his in order to retrieve the pay. Hm.. yes the aura isn’t so bad. she analysed during the brief touch before pulling her hand away and returning back to her original standing position by the table following her personal rule of not intruding in a customer’s personal space.

Mei! Can you hear me?! Someone's hurt outside!
Mei heard her fellow angel’s plight loud and crystal clear as it passed through her mind, causing Mei to close her eyes for a second as if confirming what she heard was authentic and not just her own thought imagining things up like being ‘needed’ despite her rookie status. It was certainly not the sound of her own voice which served as confirmation enough. It was just a highly unusual thing for Mei to experience- someone trespassing or setting foot into the organisation of her mind. Maybe there were angels that could read her thoughts, but for now she was a bit of a stranger to what the other angels in the café were capable of which made this telepathic message come off as a bit of a surprise. She reopened her eyes as her hand remained grasping the money offered, arm loosely hanging by her side as the customer had something else to say besides the average order. "You're, uh, nice, and pretty, er, you must get a lot of customers. The foods good too though..." The male stiffened uneasily before her eyes after saying his compliments which made her smile genuinely at his courage. It was not every day she would receive a compliment. Of course, she hadn’t forgotten Corinne’s plea and Mei was aware that the situation must be serious with such a panicky tone of voice applied In the communication trail but it was in her personality to remain calm and professional no matter what situations the human world could toss her in. The only thing that would make Mei a little jumpy, would be slacking off on her duty as both an angel and a waitress as it would mean she was not applying her personal best and doing all she could do, should do.

“Thank you sir—“ Mei was cut off from her sentence as Corinne burst through the café doors, hurriedly picking the fire extinguisher off the back of the café wall. The angel was very much in a panic which although seemingly not right for the mood of the situation, made Mei smile again to see such care and concern alight in her eyes. The world certainly needed more of that. "Sorry to disturb you guys, but we need some help out here?" Corinne said, apparently not noticing Mei present in the room before rushing out the doors from which she came with the fire extinguisher firmly in hands. Sigh. Mei thought to herself, although she was the quiet one of the bunch.. this was definitely not a professional display. Corinne was the head waitress which meant Mei was working under her and probably had no right to speak against her but she didn’t think the racket and fuss was necessary at all. If the situation outside was that drastic, all the more reason for less attention. Mei could not perform miracle healings while everyone stood outside and watched, gawking and in awe. It was not proper. Mei cleared her throat before raising her voice for a change, “Please stay seated and allow the authorities as well as staff to take care of whatever matters are in need of our attention outside. I assure you..” Mei’s eyes narrowed to show she was very serious as the words continued passing through her mouth. “That everything will be alright.. enjoy the rest of your meals and drinks.” She bowed after finishing her slight announcement then turned to the customer she was engaged in conversation with. “My sincere apologies sir, but there may be a delay of approximately 5 minutes with your order as café staff are becoming unavailable given the circumstances. In the case I am still occupied beyond 5 minutes, I am sure another waitor or waitress will attend to you. For now, please excuse me and enjoy your stay.” Mei concluded as she pulled out a pen and notepad from her uniform to jot down his order and left it along with the $20 on the counter in front of Alex otherwise known as Cupid her employer. She bowed her head to him respectfully before exiting the café to find out what all the fuss and mayhem brewing was about.

Mei turned her head almost in a mechanical fashion as she took in the scene for what it was. A human girl and Corinne were attending to the car crash in an attempt to save the driver while the troubled boy with brown hair Mei had noticed earlier was sprawled out on the ground in a blood display. Her eyes softened as she took in everything that had happened before kneeling down gracefully beside the boy on the road. He was alive, she was certain of it but her attention was also drawn to the sound of the authorities getting closer to the cafe in which she had a very limited amount of time to work with. Mei placed her hand gently over the male’s injuries, deciding to take away the pain the poor boy was feeling but leave the bruises and such as they were as to not make the miracle so obvious to the prying eyes that would shortly arrive. They were undercover angels after all, it would do no good to reveal themselves so easily. The least she could do was remove the pain from him. As her hands worked over the injuries, it would give off a slight glow only visible to angels and to further help him.. she began to sing to soften the human’s heart. Mei was attuned to emotions so no doubt he must be feeling overwhelmed or panicky at the state of him and everything else that continued to move around him.. unconscious or not, his body would be very aware of it all. Her singing was smooth and delicate, like an angel’s should be which acted as a method of calming him while removing the pain, trusting that Corinne and the other human was doing just fine with the driver.

Nicky herd some commotion out side. She quickly got out of her seat and started to head towards the door. She walked out side and saw a few cars smashed together. She smiled "Ah a nice time for angry drivers to learn to hate each other." All of the sudden things took a turn for the worst. A small fire started there were people injured and in trouble. She noticed a angel running around in a panic.

She normally would have enjoyed the show but something was different she wanted to help. She was actually worried for these people. She quickly went to help the angel open the door. But it just wouldn't open "We need some sort of leverage. Like a crowbar or metal pipe." She quickly searched around and found a metal pipe laying on the ground. "Hm lucky." She ran back over and stuck it into the small opening in the door. "Alright push!" Her and the angel and one other girl opened the door after some work. They helped the man out and lied him on the ground. She noticed that boy that she wanted to ruin but he was hurt and the other angel was singing to him. She was sad. Why was she sad she just wanted to make sure he never found love a couple minutes ago and now she was sad that he was hurt?

Some thing was happening to her and she didn't like it. She started to care about people and feel bad for them. She used to enjoy pain some thing was wrong. She grabbed her head and sat against the wall. She looked around at everyone. They all seemed to matter all had a purpose and she was in there way.

Zachary McCollough
Professional Ragdoll

Darkness.... it consumed him. Was this it? Was this his end? Had his short and insignificant life been ended so abruptly? It's all he could assume at first. The pain from getting hit had came and went just like the flash from a camera, though it did make him extremely uncomfortable. He had been out before he hit the ground, his head probably hitting the glass as he rolled across the front of the vehicle. Though regardless of what happened exactly, he knew the basis of the situation and he feared for the worst.

Suddenly, a bright light made itself known across all of his vision. It took a moment before he could start making out colors and shapes, distorted voices teased his ears with only the occasional word being comprehendable. Had he the ability to, he would've frowned when what he was seeing was clear. He saw a very familiar girl and a very familiar guy, talking to each other over breakfast at a home. Zach himself was seeing this from the third person, as if he were a ghost. It was odd that he could see every single one of his own facial expressions as his past self tried to convince his ex-girlfriend to stay with him.

The emotions running through both Zachs were.... plenty. While sorrow was the most obvious one, it wasn't the strongest one. That title belonged to betrayal. Even if it didn't sound like it at the time, Zach knew exactly why she was leaving him and he ended up dispising her for it. Sex. What was it about such a physical act that could drive someone you love to leave you for another? This question was one Zach still hadn't gotten an answer to to this day. Maybe were he to try it once, he'd know, but he purposefully prevented himself from ever getting that close to someone. To Zach, sex was the ultimate way to physically express your love to someone else. It was what his father had always taught him, and it was something he believed in.

In his out-of-body-back-in-time experience, it had gotten to the very depressing part where Zach, as nice of a person he was, had been emotionally hurt by someone he had shown nothing but kindness that rivaled his normaly chilvary to. The pain on his face.... the tears streaming down his face as he himself became unable to deal with it.... it wrecked him again. The 'present' Zach, the one that was just hit by a vehicle watched with sympathetic eyes. He understood the pain he felt back then, probably because it was himself. What he noticed however, was that while his girlfriend was walking off, never to be physically seen by him again and only heard about through mutual friends, she was smiling. At first, he wondered why that was, and how he was seeing it. If this was a memory, how was he seeing something he didn't see back then?

Eventually, he gave not a fuck how he was seeing this, but why he was seeing it. Maybe it was just his hateful mind playing tricks on him, but she was smiling as if she had won a prize or something. Make Zach Cry, achievement unlocked? There had to be something to this..... she enjoyed that? No, no, no, no! This was definetly his mind. He was just raped sideways by a runaway vehicle, so he was just having loopy dreams as he passed away, that was it. He violently pushed the smile out of his way.... but it remained there, in the back of his head........

"?!"

Zach's eyes began to open... again.... even though he thought they were already open. They struggled under the weight of the light that seemed too bright for him to look at, wanting to open fully but never being able to. Soon however, his eyelids gained the upper hand and he was now beginning to see the outlines of an unfamiliar woman hovering over him. Her voice was soothing, and it actually made him feel that much calmer. Though it was a bit weird that she was singing and putting very light pressure on him. Was he being raped? No, nevermind... she would've had to been on top, and he couldn't take that situation seriously. I mean, who the hell runs up to an unconcious person and sings while they rape? God, he must've been hit in the head for that to even occur for the slightest second in his mind.

He felt a light pain run its course through his body- much lighter than he would've expected given the circumstances, but maybe he was just hyped up on andrenaline or something. Well, he wasn't going to complain about it, so instead, he sat up, albeit groggily. With a few uneasy turns of his head, he deduced where he was: on the floor, about ten feet from where he was standing when he got hit. Wow. He looked at the girl next to him and offered a smile that one wouldn't expect on someone who just woke up from being bitchslapped by a vehicle. "....Are you an angel?" he asked, oblivious to the fact that she was indeed one. "...Did I die?" there was the slightest strain in his tone, but he did seem calm and relaxed nonetheless.

Corinne looked at the new girl confused. Wasn't she....? Well, for now she would attempt to get the man out. The rainbow-haired girl took a metal pipe and pried the door open as if it was a crowbar. Finally, they were able to successful move the man out of the car carefully. The sirens were closer now, so she wouldn't ask Mei to help this one. He would probably be fine once the doctors looked after him at the hospital.

She sighed in relief when she looked over at the boy and Mei. He seemed to be better now. Mei's song could reach her ears and even though the song wasn't meant for her, she felt a lot more relaxed hearing it. Although Corinne was the older one, she knew it didn't mean she was more powerful. In her own opinion, Mei was still young and already had a better grasp of her powers than the older angel. The younger angel was really respectful and treated her as a superior because of her age and status as a head waitress, but in truth Mei was actually the one that acted like the senior The girl was very professional, unlike Corinne who was a bit too immature for her age.

She knelt next to Mei and the boy and smiled at her.

Good job, and thanks. Should I put him to sleep?

The police cars, ambulance, and firetruck all poured into the driveway, a tad too late, but at least they came ready to perform their duty. This boy shouldn't be able to move right now, hopefully he wouldn't question it later. "You must be tired," she said to the boy softly, "the authorities will take care of you now." She pointed her index and middle finger and placed the fingertips on his forehead, a musky light seeping into him from her hand. That should make him feel like he's dreaming.

She got up and started to explain to the officers what had happened and to get the two patients to the hospital immediately.
