Mei

The male human's troubled aura was intensifying as the seconds flown by that started to mess with Mei's concentration. Her forehead scrunched up a little as she tried her best to focus on the healing process rather than the aura, a drop of sweat trickling down the side of her head as she fought to maintain focus on the task at hand. Being attuned to her emotions and the emotions of others particularly as she was personally handling him and not just in range of him, she could feel what the troubled soul on the ground was feeling. It was something she hadn't felt before.. It was indeed, very negative emotions to have towards someone, anyone. All the more reason he should be a customer at the cafe, to discover a love so pure as to eradicate those emotions from strengthening to the point of no return. She paused in her work as she noticed his eyes struggle to flicker open with life and removed her hands from him, understanding she had broken the rule of personal space no less to a complete stranger under the circumstances. She closed her mouth, cutting off the song as if she had never sung. Mei wouldn't consider herself a hero, a saviour or any glorified title. She was just a rookie angel in need of no praise to perform her job. With this mindset, she entwined her fingers on her lap that showed no signs of ever touching him- no blood on hands to be seen as the angelic glow had actually prevented that. She waited as the human fully managed to open his eyes and attempted to sit up without much delay in between. Her hands instinctively reacted, catching his shoulders to stabilise the human in case he should collapse from dizziness. Mei hadn't been able to heal him entirely, being alerted to his wakening.

"....Are you an angel?" The brown haired male questioned with a smile on his face that made Mei's eyes widen at the question in the possibility she had been found out. Thankfully, he didn't seem so serious about it which made it seem rhetorical as he continued on. "...Did I die?" Mei tilted her head wondering why the human would ask that or what he was referring to. Her eyes blinked as she put on a brave encouraging smile. "Please sir, do not strain yourself any further. The authorities are on their way to handle everything. Lie down if it is more comfortable for you and your breathing... sitting up so fast after such an occurrence may result in dizziness." she suggested formally, hands still gently holding his shoulders. "I also apologise for intruding in your personal space.. I understand this may be an uncomfortable experience for you?" she added, her grip loosening on his shoulders in case the human could hold himself up. Her head turned towards the attention of the injured driver, debating whether or not she should leave and assist the others or continue caring for this particular human. She didn't want to leave him in his own care, not for a lack of trust but because there was no telling what he would do. Would he think he was perfectly fine and continue on his way? She turned her head back to him, a serious expression of concern surfacing her facial features. "Please do not exert yourself, you must be considerably tough to be moving so soon after the incident but.." She sighed for a moment, knowing she hadn't talked to a human for this amount of time before. It was the longest on her record. "But please." Her aqua eyes softened. "Please do not trouble yourself." The sentence came out rather personally, having used the word 'troubled' knowing he was troubled in more ways than just simply one. "You are not dead" She finally answered his question, gently placing his own hand to the left of his chest where his heart was located. "You can feel that, can't you?" she offered a smile to the human. Mei doubted whether or not she was handling this situation properly, being the first of its kind but she was trying her best. In the week she had spent in the human world, she was very limited in understanding of how she should even approach the race so continued to only hope she could trust in her judgement.

Corinne appeared beside her causing Mei to slowly let go of the human, feeling that she for once had been unprofessional. Good job, and thanks. Should I put him to sleep? Mei blinked over at Corinne asking her the question. As the angel above her in status, she didn't expect to be asked that way, it was like requesting permission. It took Mei off guard so she had naturally shook her head to suggest 'no' but then offered a smile as if to say 'do as you wish nonetheless', feeling as if she had earned her respect despite status differences. Mei still didn't think it was right to be put in the position of granting permission to someone higher up than her so she left it to Corinne to decide what was best. "You must be tired," "the authorities will take care of you now." Mei watched as Corinne placed her fingertips on the boy's forehead, spotting the light emitting as the contact was made. The angel soon left to talk to the authorities while Mei spared another glance at the boy before starting to make her way back into the cafe, prepared to disappear from the incident scene as if she had never been there.

The kind, gentle and caring words that escaped Mei's lips that would make anyone know she had genuine concern for this man that she had not met once before in her life passed right through one ear and out of another. He heard her warnings and concerns, but Zach was a bit stubborn sometimes, this being one of them. He shook his head, which actually caused a bit of pain before speaking. "Thank you for worrying about me, but it'll take more than a smaller vehicle to do any serious damage,". It should be known that his father was also pretty prideful, and as such, so was his son. That and..... Zach didn't have health insurance, making a trip to the hospital.... unpreferable.

Maybe it was the small daze he was in, but he just now caught on to the way she said 'troubled', and he felt the meaning behind it. He raised one eyebrow for a brief moment before his eyes widened just a bit by her action, which ended up pushing his hand onto his chest. He could feel his heartbeat, which was a bit faster than it should be, but then again, he was just attacked by a random vehicle, so that was a good enough excuse for him. He smile warmly. "Yes, I do..." he turned to face the person approaching them.

Another woman stopped beside them and looked at Mei, who shook her head 'no' for some reason. Were they telepathic or something? Before he could think about what she just declined, the newer girl spoke and informed him that he was going to be attended to shortly by some people with medical experience. He suspected that there was a small chance she wasn't lying. He took the loud sirens and the situation as evidence of this. He opened his mouth to speak, and was cut off before he finished his response. "I'm not tired... I jus--" as soon as her fingers made contact with his forehead, he began feeling a bit drowsy, almost as if he were drunk or extremely tired. He couldn't tell the difference sometimes.

"...uu...ouuu...." he yawned, but fought the urge to just lay down and fall asleep. People weren't supposed to do that when they received an head injury, if he remembered correctly. Then again, it wasn't his head so much as it was his right side of his body. That was where he took the most damage, having that part of him collide with the vehicle first. Actually, he was pretty sure that would have a colossal bruise soon, if it wasn't formed already. He gave a lazy stare to Mei, who gave him a kinder, less goofy one back before she set off towards the cafe, leaving him alone. Thus, he decided to stand up and prove he wasn't weak or even injured that bad from the crash. The car took more damage than he, he thought. With great effort and strain, he pushed himself off the floor, pain shooting through him but nevertheless, he found his way onto his feet. He wasn't flawless with his stance or anything, nearly stumbling off of them as soon as he got them (somewhat) firmly on the ground. However, this would not stop him. He would not be a victim of this accident, so he stumbled his way to the wall of the cafe and leaned against it to support himself while he ran a hand through his hair. When he looked at it, he noticed it was a lot redder than before.

"Eh? Would you look at that.... I'm bleeding," he said before wiping the blood off on the side of his pants, which weren't necessarily clean due to his time spent on the floor.

As Corinne was talking to the officer she turned back to notice the boy had somehow gotten up and walked towards the café. Maybe I really should have knocked him out.... she thought. She quickly turned back to the officer and smiled, telling him she would be back in a moment. She then walked towards the café and stood a close distance to the boy.

"Sir," she said quietly with a frown, "you're injured and you should go to the hospital to be looked after. Please take care of yourself better."

She couldn't fathom any logical reason he would have for not wanting his wounds to be looked after. If not for Mei, he would have died without treatment. This sparked a little anger inside Corinne. To her he was being careless, and pardon her words, stupid. By the looks of it, he was still in immense pain and to top it off there was blood on his side; what more of a reason should he need to go to the hospital? Also, was he trying to get back into the café? First of all, she wanted him to go to the hospital, not back into the café. Second, he is not dragging all that blood into the café. It sounded a bit cruel to think this way, but he would make the other customers uncomfortable, and it was not easy to clean either.

Was it money? Even with this reason she still thought it was ridiculous. There was a chance he could have damaged his organs internally, if so, he would die if he wasn't taken care of. Why did this situation have to be so complicated? To her it was simple: they got hurt, they should go to the hospital. If she had a chance of dying she wouldn't stick around and let luck decide whether or not she would be alright.

"Although we did not see the crash, we heard it, and we can act as your witnesses to an extent if the driver refuses to pay for your bills. I'm sure he won't though, he seems like an honest man." she advised. "At least get checked out, and you can come back to the café once you confirm that you are perfectly fine."

Gwen

Things seemed to be going too fast for Gwen. She barely had enough time to breath. The blonde actually saw the accident happened, but was too shocked to do anything. And just as she was about to go help him, two other ladies did. Feeling completely out of it, she actually went right back inside the cafe and found out where the restrooms were before sliding down onto the floor. She was in a bit of a daze and couldn't seem to grasp reality. Seeing Zach get hurt like that made something inside her break. What was this feeling? There other feelings whirling around in her too and she couldn't seem to get a handle on them. Without realizing it, she starts to cry. Gwen also didn't notice that she was late for school.

Trixie

"Wow! Talk about drama! And I thought showbiz was crazy!" exclaimed Trixie as she watched several scenes unfold.

She actually hoped that whoever got hurt was okay. She looked back at Drake before looking at the menu.

"I guess I'll order something now. How about the . . . oooh, they have a sweetheart's special here hehe." she giggled.

Trixie wasn't trying to be rude or anything, she was just hungry.

As Zach was minding his own business, doing nothing to harm anyone, some girl had the nerve to approach him and secretly scold him. Nah, he didn't think like that at all, and he honestly appreciated her worry, be it genuine or not. He looked up at her, a smile still on his face though there was still a faulter in his lips every time a surge of pain passed through him. Nevertheless, he (somewhat) managed to keep his warm smile and spoke softly.

"Take care of myself better....? I guess I should, shouldn't I?" he sighed for a moment, before it turned into a cough. When it stopped, he looked down into his hand and noticed.... spit. Good thing there wasn't any blood or he might be in some trouble. Well in any case, what she said was true, so he'd just have to go to the hospital he figured. "Do me a favor, will you?" he asked politely but didn't wait for her to respond before he made his request. "If I even try to move from this wall, I'm going to fall flat on my face.... I might be a bit heavy for a younger and smaller lady such as yourself to carry," he explained. "Mind getting a few of the men over there to help?" he asked, referring to the firefighters.

At that exact moment, the pain that was suppressed by a certain angel's magic was felt all at once, much more than Zach could handle. He groaned a bit loudly, his hand clasping his side quickly as his eyes squeezed shut. He breathed out one more thing, "Hurry, please,".

He secretly cursed his male bravado.

She felt a little bad afterwards. I guess he should know better than anyone else about his body. She nodded and went over to the paramedics to call for a stretcher. They were all in the middle of helping the driver onto the stretcher. A firefighter explained to her that they would need another stretcher, and he would have to wait. For now, all they could do was provide first aid. The firefighters were tending to the crash scene, and the police were busy analyzing everything. It was a crash. What was there to analyze? She sighed and went back to the boy.

"Sorry, looks like they have to wait for another ambulance." she said.

That's strange, he looked more anguished than he did earlier. She should get him over to where the paramedics were. "Here, I may be small but I am older. I may not be able to carry you like a princess, but I can lend a shoulder." She went to the side opposite of the on that was bleeding and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. He was definitely a lot taller, and she could see why he wanted some help from men. Well, it's not like she was a normal human girl, it was manageable. Corinne tried her best not to bump him too much as they walked over, but it was kind of inevitable. "Come on, big boy." she coaxed jokingly.

Making their way over to the officials, she allowed him to sit on the ledge that was at the rear of a firetruck. A paramedic that finished with the driver came over to tend to the boy.

"Sorry, looks like they have to wait for another ambulance."

Zach smiled, but he wasn't really happy hearing that. But, he could bear with it, for now at least. "That's alright," he said, the pain annoyingly pulsating through his body and making him more uncomfortable than he already was. To the ground, his eyes look as he noticed something that made him frown in sadness. There it sat, crumpled into pieces and FUBAR. The headphones weren't even there anymore, and they were't in his ears either. He wondered where they went, but it really didn't matter, did it?

"My MP3..." he groaned, making it obvious that this was probably the worst thing about the accident to him. While he could always just get another one, that one was his favorite. He'd dropped it many a time while walking and doing whatever and it always worked. Guess it took a car running over it to do anything to it. He mentally gave a moment of silence to the broken music player before looking up at Corinne as she started speaking. When she moved his arm, it hurt like a bitch. The pain from just that movement hurt, but he didn't let her know that, forcing himself not to show any signs of discomfort. Needless to say, getting from the cafe to the back of the firetruck was a grueling journey for him and especially so when she and he collided a few times.

He gave a soft chuckle when she spoke, calling him a 'big boy'. That hurt too. He took his seat on the back of the firetruck and was examined by a paramedic as soon as possible. He didn't pay too much attention to what the man was saying, but what he got from the man after he finished speaking was that he was going to have a big ass fucking bruise and to his surprise, not a broken bone on him, though an X-ray would confirm this statement to be absolute. From the sound of it, Zach was just going to be in pain, but nothing too life threatening, or so the man said. This gave Zach a bit of comfort, seeing as the last thing Zach wanted to do was be stuck at home without being able to go anywhere. Living alone was a tough thing to do, especially when you're injured.

"My MP3..." she heard him groan.

This received a chuckle from Corinne. He barely escaped serious injuries, and he was upset about his MP3 player? What a strange boy. She listened to the man's analysis of his physical state. From the looks of it, the boy wasn't too badly hurt. At least that was a relief. Perhaps she was being too pushy. It sounded like the boy was going to be alright aside from a really painful bruise. He needed to get an x-ray to make sure, but he could schedule it at some other time.

"I guess you'll be fine. Sorry about overreacting. I just kind of wanted to make sure you weren't going to die." She said as she scratched her head.

She saw the second ambulance roll in, and talked to the paramedic quickly. It didn't look like the boy had broken anything, amazingly. It would be better for him to get checked out, but it wasn't life threatening so she guessed it would be up to him. She shouldn't be controlling him after all. She turned back to the boy and gave him a smile.

"Well, looks like you're right. You're a tough cookie. You can decide whether or not you want to go to the hospital. But I'm warning you, all we have in the café are packs of ice. No painkillers." she warned.

"Ah," she said as she remembered, "My name is Corinne. I'm the head waitress at this café." She extended her arm and offered her hand.

"I guess you'll be fine. Sorry about overreacting. I just kind of wanted to make sure you weren't going to die." he listed to her apologize.

Apologizing? As if he would allow such a thing! "No, dont' be sorry. I really appreciate that very much!" he declared with great enthusiasm. It hurt his sides, but physical pain wasn't going to stop him from assuring her she did nothing wrong. He laughed a bit after telling her that.

"No painkillers, eh?" he pondered whether or not he should go to the hospital. He ended up deciding against it for the sole reason that he wasn't going to give Fate this opportunity to make him any more miserable... he hated being in hospitals with a fierce passion. "An ice pack will do then," he said, showing no intentions of leaving the cafe. "I guess this is Fate trying to tell me that I should've ordered a carrot cake today. I shall do so when I get inside," he explained.

Zach accepted her hand with his, giving a firm but friendly handshake to her. "That is a beautiful and unique name," he told her politely. "My name would be Zachary, and I'm apparently a professional car-wrestler," he added just for the sake of lightening the mood. "If you don't mind, I'd like to go back- being hit by a car makes a man very hungry I suppose," he looked himself over, making sure he was mildly clean. The man who had came over to inspect him gave him a cloth, which he used to clean off most of the blood. There was dried blood hidden under his shirt, but other than that, he was good to go.

She laughed at his enthusiasm. What an interesting boy. "Thank you, and very well, Zachary. I'll get you one from the back once we get back inside. Give me a moment to talk to the officers."

Corinne walked off to the paramedics from the second ambulance and explained the situation. They seemed reluctant to leave the boy, but the paramedic from earlier than analyzed him assured them that he was fine, and it was his decision to not go to the hospital. With a nod they jumped back into the ambulance and rode back into the city. Similarly, the firefighters soon followed, leaving a couple of police officers to deal with the damaged car and building. She returned to Zach and lent him her shoulder to help him back into the café.

Once insider, she parted from his side, allowing him to choose what seat was comfortable. A few customers turned their heads to observe, but soon went back to their conversations and drinks. Corinne disappeared into the back and pulled out an ice-pack from the freezer. She grabbed a spare cloth from the side and wrapped it around the pack to reduce the sharpness of the cold. Pack in hand she walked back out to Zach and handed him the ice-pack.

"Here, just apply this and it should feel a little better. Just a little." she said as she handed it to him. "Well, did you want that carrot cake now?"

Zach looked up at her with a grateful smile and accepted the ice-pack, ignoring the customers staring at him and instead smiled widely. "Thank you..." he said, placing the ice-pack on his side. He held back a small hiss from the instant coldness that he felt from it. "Yeah, that would be great right now," he said with a smile. As she left to do her job, he simply layed back, resting his eyes for a moment.

Getting hit by cars was streneous on his body, that much he was sure.

(Eh.... short post is short.)

Theo winced as her arm was almost dragged out of its socket as Nick went to see what happened, since there was an accident and a giant commotion. Then her cousin went back to the cafe and noticed the signs, which led to a giant squeal.
Theo frowned. "Nick, can we please go now?"
Her cousin frowned, then laughed. "Nope! You're going to stay here, and have iced tea and coffee cake with me. Or I'll tell on you..."
Grumbling under her breath, Theo sat down beside her overly cheerful cousin, who ordered for them. Typical Nick...

She turned away from him and was about to get the cake when she looked down at her hands. They were full of filth and stained with bits of blood. Hah.... how unholy for an angel's hands to be stained with blood. she mused. Corinne sighed and headed to the café's restrooms to wash her hands. They were meant for customers, but she was just washing her hands, it would be more convenient this way. She made her way into the girl's restroom and turned on the tap, humming as she scrubbed her hands clean. She paused hearing another sound that didn't come from her. Was it... crying? Corinne turned to see a girl on the floor, and as she thought, she was crying. Oh dear, what could be wrong?

Corinne pulled out a paper towel and quickly dried her hands. Then she made her way over to the girl and knelt down. The first thing she noticed was how beautiful the girl was. Even crying, she could clearly tell this girl was very pretty. She had not encountered someone crying in the café before. "Hi there sweetie, is there something I can help you with?" she asked quietly. Zach's carrot cake was going to have to wait.

Gwen

Gwen didn't realize she had been crying until she heard someone ask her a question. Horrified, she whipped her eyes dried and looked up at the friendly looking young lady. For the first time, she didn't know what to say. One thing was for sure, she felt pathetic.

"Well um, I don't know honestly. I was about to leave, but I saw Zach get hit by a car and well . . . I don't know . . . it all happened too fast and I couldn't handle it. I don't know what's wrong with me. I just met this young man, yet here I am acting like a crying fool. I should have done something . . . but . . . is he okay?" she jabbered on.

She obviously didn't realize that the one talking to her was one of the girls she saw help Zach because she was still in shock.

Corinne smiled at the girl. So, she liked Zachary. "You're no fool. Trust me." She was crying because she was worried about Zach? What was foolish about that? She had just met the boy but she already cared this deeply; how incredibly wonderful. She seemed like a loving and caring person. "He's fine sweetie. He's a tough cookie." She paused, thinking that she should see for herself that Zach was perfectly fine. "Actually, he's sitting in the café right now. You can come and see for yourself."

She stood up and lifted the girl's body off the floor. "You should clean up that pretty face of yours. I'm actually about to go get his order; you can deliver it to him, how's that? He'll feel much better after seeing you, I'm sure." Corinne gave the girl an encouraging squeeze on her hand. "I'll be waiting just outside the restroom, alright? Come out when you're done."

Corinne left the girl so she could tidy herself up. Once she was out the door she clapped her hands in joy. The two made such a cute couple. The angel skipped behind the counter to grab a slice of carrot cake. She placed it on a small plate with a fork and walked back, trying to avoid being seen by Zach. Holding the plate she stood about a meter away from the restroom, waiting for the girl to come out.

Alex

Alex had calmed himself down and came back out from behind. He had his plan but still wasn't one hundred percent it would work. He looked out and saw Mei and Corinne helping Zach who looked bruised and beaten. Alex knew of certain events that would effect people positively and this could be one of the better things that happens to him on Alex's opinion. Alex heard the people talking at the booth. He wasn't sure to think of their love. It was neither fake nor true but it didn't bother him too much. He smiled at the angels as the tried to help Zach

"Sounds good to me." he said happily as he put the menu back down and hummed along to the song playing.

Gwen

The girl sounded sincere and Gwen hoped she was right that Zach was all right. She wasn't sure she wanted to see him. Thinking about the events prior to the accident, it left a sour taste in her mouth. She wondered if he thought her a fake now. Sighing, she stood up and cleaned herself off. Feeling that she had some control over her emotions, she slipped out of the bathroom before seeing that same girl again.

"I am sorry, but I don't know if I should see Zach. I didn't tell him who I really was and well, I am already betrothed to someone and I think that hurt his feelings. I wasn't my intention for something like that to happen for I had no control over it. I must be the last person he wants to see right now." Gwen found herself confessing.

Why did she say that? Gwen rarely confessed anything to anyone. Maybe it was this place for it did make her feel like she could be honest here.

Trixie

Trixie smiled and waved for a waiter or someone to come to their table. She loved spending time with Drake and rarely got the chance to do so.

"So how was your last photo shoot Drake?" she asked him.

((Ceh, I'll leave it up to you what the Sweetheart special is lol. I can't think atm.))

Corinne's peppy expression immediately turned into one of confusion. Once again, another example of why humans were so complicated. The way she saw it, it seemed like the girl had started to like Zach. So, why wouldn't she want to see him?

"Well... I'm no professional sweetie, but I think maybe if you believe you've hurt him... then this would be a good chance to apologize. What better way to make somewhere feel better than with desserts?" she said with a smile as she lifted the plate of carrot cake up.

To Corinne, the girl seemed really gentle. She was thinking about Zach's feelings, and that was a step forward. The angel hoped the girl could muster up the courage to talk to the boy. Ha, she wondered if Mei or Boss would scold her for being so meddling. Well, Mei probably would never say it directly, but she might think it. She placed the plate in the girl's hands.

"It sounds like you really didn't mean to hurt him, so take this chance to explain everything. If you don't feel comfortable, I can pass a message for you. However, I strongly believe you should do this on your own." she coaxed softly.

Nicky jumped up when she saw Alex. She ran over and grabbed his arm. "I need your help something is happening to me." She looked around. "Let's talk some where more private." She dragged him into the kitchen. "I need your help for some reason I feel bad for people I don't know. And I'm starting to want to actually help people!" That thought gave her the chills. "I don't know what you did to me but please make this stop. It's driving me crazy." She sat down and stared into Alexs eyes. "Please it's not who I am."

She was the goddess of hate and now she fell in love and wanted to help people. She couldn't do anything and neither could Alex. She was worried of what could happen to her. She fell in love with someone and now she is changing but how much will she change. Her head was spinning she wanted to help people one second then she wanted to punch someone in the face. Nicky couldn't believe it she was actually going insane! All she could do was sit there waiting to see if she would remain the goddess of hate or change to something else to help Alex in his quest for love.

Alex

Alex was dragged into the room by Nicky. He was then followed in by BonBon who managed to cling onto his leg. "I need your help for some reason I feel bad for people I don't know. And I'm starting to want to actually help people! I don't know what you did to me but please make this stop. It's driving me crazy. Please it's not who I am." Alex was happy on the inside but he knew this is not particularly a good thing. If Styx didn't want to be the goddess of hate anymore they would put in her replacement. Alex met him once and he didn't fuck around like Nicky. He was serious and knew every trick of the trade. He had lust, knowledge, and brawn. The three objects of fake love.

"Dearest Styx, you don't understand. You are fitting into the order. " he smiled and cleared his throat. "You see humans are to be kept as the god's creations and are to create an empire. The angels are servants for us which are made from humans who live perfect lives. But, us the gods are made from pure angels which are extremely rare. You were fitted with hate and I was fitted with love but you have some how crossed you line and gone into my territory. Does that make sense?" he asked curious.

Nicky's head hurt really bad she didn't want to be good she liked being bad it was much easier. "Dearest Styx, you don't understand. You are fitting into the order." No that can't be right she couldn't she wouldn't! This was outrageous but it felt right. You see humans are to be kept as the god's creations and are to create an empire. The angels are servants for us which are made from humans who live perfect lives. But, us the gods are made from pure angels which are extremely rare. You were fitted with hate and I was fitted with love but you have some how crossed you line and gone into my territory. Does that make sense?" She nodded but stayed looking at the ground.

She looked up at Alex "You're the reason I crossed it's because of you! I would have stayed hateful without you!" She pulled him close and hugged him. "Thank you." She spun around and stuck her finger in one of the cakes. She pulled it out and stuck it in her mouth. "Mhhm, this is good!" Her head ace went away she finally came to peace. She accepted that she wasn't going to be the goddess of hate. She walked around the counter and sat in a chair. She rested her head in her hands and looked back at Alex. "So now the new guy is gonna take over my job right?" She felt relieved not having to go break some people up. She has been doing that her whole life and now she is done. What a relief.

"You're the reason I crossed it's because of you! I would have stayed hateful without you! Thank you. Alex blushed when she grabbed him. She was being more affectionate than usual and it was fine with him. "Mhhm, this is good!" Alex laughed slightly and BonBon decided to try and play with Nicky. He jumped off Alex's shoulder and onto the goddess's lap, chirping. "So now the new guy is gonna take over my job right?" Alex nodded then cringed a bit on the inside. "He will take your job and you.." he paused thinking for a moment. Would she still be a god or possibly would she be demoted into an angel or maybe she would just fade away? He sat down and got lost in thought about the goddess.

Cake..... cake..... oh my god I want some fucking cake......

His heavenly carrot cake was taking a bit longer than he'd have expected it to. Oh the torture it was to have that taste on the tip of his tongue, yet be unable to fully experience such a pleasure. As chilvarous as he was, he was oblivious to what was causing the delay, and it was probably for the better, to. Had Zach known that Gwen was literally crying because she was worried about him.... he might beat himself up for being the cause of a lady's tears. That wouldn't be good in the slightest, considering Zach's bigger pet-peeve was people causing girls to cry. Thus, he'd be angry at himself and it's hard to scold someone for being hit by a car randomly.

Speaking of that.... Zach was in pretty good shape considering the circumstances. He was just hit by a car full-on and less than half an hour later, he's back in the cafe. Not everyone can say that they shrugged a car off like a boss, but then again... he was resiliant to physical damage. Emotional not so much, but everyone has their weaknesses. He might just have to boast about this later on. Maybe if he became a regular customer and a say about a year passed, he could just announce it randomly. Just to mess with them, really. Something like, "Remember that time I got hit by a car? Yeah.... the car was totaled and all I lost was an MP3," something like that maybe.

Every second that passed was like someone punching him in the gut. This cake couldn't come soon enough. However, he figured that in the long run, it'd end up tasting better the hungrier he got. Zach's stomach growled, announcing its need for some form of nourishment. One hand rested on it and he silently whispered to his belly that all would be good soon. He just wondered how soon.

Nicky was giggling and poking BonBon. "I haven't been this happy in a while." She picked BonBon up and held him above her head. "Your a cutie aren't ya" She was happy she didn't really know why it was a nice feeling. "He will take your job and you.." Her smile dissipated she set BonBon down and pushed him towards Alex. She hadn't thought about that she wasn't going to be a goddess anymore. She had no idea what she was going to be. She stared at the ground no god or goddess has ever stopped doing what they were created for. She could actually stop existing or worse she could become a mortal. Having responsibilities, school and not having powers. She shivered at the thought. "Alex what is going to happen to me?" She grabbed his hand she has never had to worry about anything before but now she is completely a wreck of what might happen.
