"Has anyone seen my pencil? Or my sketchpad?"

0 · 295 views · located in Tokyo, Japan

a character in “Love In A Manga”, originally authored by Lorawr, as played by RolePlayGateway

Description

Image

Not many people really notice me, but that's okay. I don't mind.

~Uke~

Image

Full Name
"Um, I'm Felix. Felix Ishigo. You can call me Fee, for short, but not FeFe. I hate that"

Age
"I'm twenty four. I know sometimes I don't really act or look like it, but I am. Really."

Role/Manga
"A lot of people say that I'm just an assistant, but I think it's kind of important. I enjoy it. And I'm good at it too. I'm the assistant for my brother, Cael. He's doing 'A Classical Tale of: Blood or Love'. "

Image

Family
"Well, I guess I have a mom and dad, though I haven't seen them for years. I send my mom letters, sometimes, but she hasn't replied for months. I...never liked dad. My brother Cael took me away from them. He's a all I have"

Personality
Felix is a very shy, vulnerable young man, who often gives the impression of being childish and in need of protection. He tends to be somewhat clumsy, weak, or clueless, and relies often on his older brother, who he dotes upon. Trusting easily, Felix is always very friendly and is very curious about small things that don't really matter, meaning that he often misses the bigger picture of things. But despite his flaws, Felix is undeniably sweet and attentive, and always means for the best. He is innocent in the best way, and very rarely breaks any rules or raises his voice. However, that is not to say that Felix isn't also cheeky, playful and teasing. On days where he feels particularly good, he is often the one behind a multitude of creative but harmless pranks, with his brother often becoming the butt of his joke. Despite this, Felix is easily lovable, and it is unusual for anyone to tell him off too strongly. He is a very caring individual, and very sensitive, but he can also be very protective of the people he loves. Primarily, his brother, his only remaining family, is the most important human being in the world to him, and Felix would do anything for him without question. During times when Cael didn't take very good care of himself, Felix was always there for him with tea or something sweet in case his brother's appetite returned, and although Cael may not recognize the things that his brother did for him, Felix is content with the knowledge that he could help.

Likes
"Cats. Kittens, especially. My brother. The sea. The sky. Milk and cookies. Music. I love music! The color blue. My room. Reading. Drawing. Drawing's my favorite. Art. Museums. Libraries! I...I guess I like a lot..."

Dislikes
"I hate when people call me FeFe!"

Image

History
"I don't really think my life's been that interesting. When I was a kid, my parents were really...Well, I wouldn't say they were teh best. My dad hated me. He always said that I was weak, or feminine, and stuff because I liked drawing...I didn't get on well with him. After each argument, I'd always run up to my room and lock myself in, and then I'd crawl under my bed and turn on the little light I kept there, and I'd just draw. I could fill up whole sketchbooks in a day! It was wonderful, until dad found them. I had to hide them beneath my wardrobe, but one day I forgot to put them back. I'd never been hit before dad...I can't remember how old I was when Cael took me away. He always looked after me. If he hadn't taken me with him, I'd still be with mom and dad now. It's because of him that I have my job. he's done so much for me, so I try to thank him in small ways, but I don't think he notices."

Opinions
Yuko Yamazaki - "I...I think she's sort of cute. I don't really know her well. Maybe I'll get to know her better in the future"
Naoi Akisora - "I like him because of how relaxed he is. I think I can trust him, and he's really nice company"
Victor Vandyke - "He scares me a little. I kind of don't want to get anything wrong when he's nearby"
Cael - "I'd trust him with my life. My brother is everything to me!"
Hoshi Takahaski - "I think he's a little difficult to talk to..."
Luka Crosszeria - "I get really nervous around him...Like, really really nervous...It's just the way he looks at people. Those eyes..."
Sasaki Shouta - "I don't know him really well, but he seems like fun"
Marcus Simmons - "I try to stay away. He makes me feel like my work isn't good enough"
Ciel - "I'm not sure. There are times when I feel really really good around him, and times when...you know...he can come on a little too strong"
Nikolai - "He works hard, and I'm always happy to work with him. I like how calm he is"
Kori Frost - "I really like Kori, I mean, I feel like we're kind of similar. I just find him difficult to talk to, because he's a little quiet"

So begins...

Naoi Akisora

Naoi sat outside his home, letting the fresh air keep his ponytail float just above his shoulder. It's so peaceful. Why can't we just stop time here and now and capture this tranquility. Naoi closed his eyes and took a deep breath, standing up. Naoi was sure his deadline was going to just float behind him and poke him in the shoulder- suprising him. He didn't want Ciel to yell at him, though he never really raised his voice.

Exhaling, and letting the breath out he slid open the door to his traditional japanese house. He trodded down the hallway, into his 'library' or atleast thats what he nicknamed his favroite room. It was the one room in his house that wasn't always spotless. He slid open the door and gave a soft smile at the disarray, he'd been working so hard on a new character to introduce he'd ended up wit paper everywhere and the sketchbooks that were usually nice and lined up on the book shelves thrown out along with a few anatomy books.

"Well, I'll just clean up the room.." Naoi picked up a few sketch books and shelved them back in order, they were all in place by date, "And then I'll start..." . Naoi went to work peacefully cleaning up the mess and organizing it. After he was done he sat down on a swivel chair infront of his desk. This new character... she's no good. I'll try again, maybe she should have longer hair... Naoi started drawing in his most recently aquired sketch book, trying to figure out what the new antagonist for 'love prism' was going to look like.

Luka Crosszeria

Luka sat down at his desk, facing the wrong way in his swivel chair and typing at his laptop. He'd noticed lately that for some reason their companies manga-ka's just had something against turning in anything on time. In fact Luka was sure they were doing it on purpose just so editors like him had to yell at the printers and tell them to move back the printing date.

He'd finished drafting up something to sell Yuuto's manga better, a book signing where everybody could dress up as their favroite character. He was sure Yuuto's loyal fans would eat it up and it might draw in newbies to Yuuto's work. He sighed and stetched, picking up his cell so he could call his manga-ka and schedule it. Of course he had to take the thing through the finances department and whatnot but he was sure they'd go along.

"But I'm done. That's what counts." Luka stretched out, talking to himself.

He picked up the cell and dialed the guy's number, The real question is if he's actually going to finish in time. Actually that's not even a question. Knowing him he's probably daydreaming about something outrageous or flirting. I'd be shocked If he was actually getting his work done

Image After his morning dew abouts. Ciel headed right over to Naoi's, but of course with how Ciel is, he took his time getting there. He figured by now Naoi was probably asleep or working on his book. It didn't bother him as long as that was the case. Ciel would do his normal morning get abouts. Sleep early, wake up early with a nice morning walk. And he did just that, nearly everyday. The smell of the morning settled him and the sounds of the birds waking up pleased him. It was as if the birds were saying good morning to him. But as much as he enjoyed the little things of life, the bigger things always got in the way. Soon would be the deadline to Naoi's Manga and Ciel had to make sure it got done, with all the help he could offer. There wasn't much to do as an Editor, so he made sure Naoi was well kept. Sleeping, Feeding, and Healthy. In some ways it was as if Ciel was a mother figure, but a mother who kept quiet, maybe it was more like a butler. Which ever it was, none of it bothered Ciel. He never did things he didn't enjoy or things that was too much. For him the easier the task the better and this was an easy job to do.

With a yawn and a stretch to his body, he finally reached the door to Naoi's house. He softly knocked on the door once he collected himself. If Naoi didn't answer, he'd leave and come back later. Ciel never found it right to just walk into someone's house, whether he was welcomed to or not. He wasn't one to drag things on like that. To him it was found rude to just barge in, because there could be days that some people wouldn't want guess.

Image Last night Cael didn't bother going to bed, he ended up staying up all night finishing his book. His fingers were black from ink, but it didn't bother him much, it was something writers were use to when it came down to it. He groaned as he leaned back folding his arms behind his head stretching away, his body had become stiff after sitting for hours in the same position. You could hear his back crack a bit in the bones. He shifted his shoulders and closed the book after the ink had dried. There he was sitting on a pillow on the floor at a small table that he called his writing desk. Wasn't that he couldn't afford a desk or a chair, he was just old fashion like that. He didn't own chairs. He owned pillows that you can sit on the floor with. Tables that you could use while you are on the floor also known as floor furnitures. He even owned a few Kotatsu's. When he got up the father clock started to make it's toll, it was early, but about the time Felix needed to get up, but he decided to let him sleep in for a bit longer. Which would also give him time to cook up some breakfast, even if he was tired.

So he did just that, he cooked sausage and eggs with a few pancakes. Something easy and that fills you up fast. Once he was done he let out a long yawn and rubbed the back of his head tired. He placed the meals on the Kotatsu table, that was located in the living room only a few feet away from the open kitchen. When he looked at the time again he walked down the hall to his brothers room, with his arms over his chest and inside his Kimono sleeves. He slid the japanese paper door open with his elbow and smirked when he saw his brothers sleeping face. To him his brother looked like a cute little animal that you'd want to hold forever and not let go.

With a chuckle and a shake of his head he walked over to Felix who was halfway out of his covers and had his arm hanging off the bed and his mouth parted open, laying face down on his belly sound asleep. Cael sat down on the edge of Felix's bed, sliding his brothers leg over so he could. "Sleeping sounds like a wonderful idea." he said to Felix in a gentle yet deep voice. He smiled and ran his fingers through his brothers hair. "Good morning my sly little fox. I cooked some breakfast, so hurry up so you can eat it warm." Leaning over he planted a kiss on his brothers cheek. "Besides Hoshi is coming over soon, do you want him to see you in your underwear, hanging half way out of your bed?"

Image Felix was busy dreaming. His dreams, as usual, were pretty obscure at the best of times. He often dreamed of the characters that he drew, or of his family, but especially his brother. Felix loved dreaming, and he always had. Currently, he was on top of a mountain with one of his most recent male characters. He wasn't feeling the cold, but the view was like something from a movie.

"Sleeping sounds like a wonderful idea. Good morning, my sly little fox. I cooked some breakfast, so hurry up so you can eat it warm"

Felix whimpered slightly in his sleep, making a soft groaning sound as he was awoken. At first, he tried to roll away from the one who had awoken him, burying his face into his pillow. Outside felt cold compared to the delicious warmth, and it took him just a moment to realize that his brother was sat on his bed. He turned, rolling back towards Cael just as he leaned down to kiss his cheek. Felix smiled and stretched sleepily. He loved being woken by Cael. He was so gentle. Felix stretched, his lithe body brushing his brothers slightly, and he made soft sound almost like a purr.

"Besides Hoshi is coming over soon, do you want him to see you in your underwear, hanging half way out of your bed?"

He laughed quietly and shook his head as he pulled himself upright. He really was only in his underwear, and he shivered as the cool air met his bare skin. Felix dragged the blankets up around his chin, smiling up at Cael sweetly. Felix really didn't like the thought of Hoshi seeing him like this. Well, he didn't like the thought of him coming here at all, but that was okay. Felix would just get on with some of his artwork.

"What's for breakfast?" Felix asked brightly, grinning tiredly at Cael. "You didn't burn it again, did you?"

Image "You little-! What do you mean again!?" Cael snapped playfully, taking Felix's covers and throwing them over his brothers head, ruffling his face inside the covers. "Get dressed before I attack you." Cael got up to his feet grumbling. "Psh, burning food. Whose does he think I am?" Walking off back to the living and right to the front door. Cael got his news paper from the ground, glancing at the headline. "Hurry up, I want to eat already." He manly said that so he could have a smoke and get back to work. But never did he eat without his brother when ever they had meals together.

The news headline for today spoke about the book fair this friday. Nothing that Cael was ready for that is for sure. But he had to be there to sign autographs and hand out his books. He was happy about his book being sold to bunches of people, but the effort it took to get out of his home and to the book fair was already exhausting him to the core. He groaned and rubbed the back of his hair, pulling out his pipe after tucking the newspaper under his armpit. He didn't like the pipe yet, but just set it in his mouth for a type of 'comfort'.

"Looks like the book fair is this friday. Did you want to go Felix?" Cael called over to his brother as he sat down at the table chewing at the mouthpiece of his long pipe. Wasn't a hard chew, it was more like tapping it against his teeth. He did that once he was lost in thought. He placed the paper on the Kotatsu waiting for Felix to come out. Flicking on the T.V with the remote that was left on the Kotatsu. On the news they were talking about the book fair as well. "Who knew that so many people loved this sort of thing, but it would explain why the books get sold out so fast with what Victor being behind great publishing. He really does know what he is doing." Cael mostly spoke to himself in a mumbling voice.

Image Felix uselessly flailed at Cael as he smothered him with the covers, trying to escape as playfully pushed against his face. Felix laughed, struggling even as Cael stopped rubbing his blanket into his head, and fell with a soft thump to the floor. He yelped in surprise, and reached up to tug the covers away, freeing his head. "Hey!" He shouted at his brother jokingly as he left his room, before giggling quietly. Their morning scuffles were fairly regular, but Felix had yet to come out on top.

He stood up, running both hands through his ruffled hair, making it stand up on end as he went to pick out some clothes. Felix rarely ever wore anything too showy. He much preferred to wear comfortable clothes, so he picked out some casual jeans and a plain white shirt. He pulled on his jeans, and then left his room, bare chested and with nothing on his feet, carrying his top. He quickly found Cael already seated by the Kotatsu. Felix went to join his brother, smirking as he listened to him talk.

"Looks like the book fair is this Friday. Did you want to go, Felix? Who knew that so many people loved this sort of thing..."

Felix had already stopped listening. A book fair? Felix always loved going to those. Sometimes, he dressed up for them as his favorite characters, but every time there was opportunities to meet new people. But the best bit was the stalls. There was always all types of literature related stalls lined up, selling anything imaginable. As a child, Felix had gone out of his way to attend. He had often sneaked out, despite his fathers threats. He would save up for weeks just to run down and buy a new pen, or a new sketch pad, and a couple of mangas. And then he'd return home, and hide his new art supplies under his bed, that his father would always find. And then would come the punishment...

He realized that it had been a few moments while his brother had been waiting for a reply, and Felix blushed and looked down to hide the saddened expression that had come across his face. Felix knew that he shouldn't be thinking of him. He didn't matter anymore. Now, he had Cael. And even though they weren't biological brothers, Felix loved him like one. At the thought, Felix brightened up and rubbed his eyes sleepily.

"I'd love to go. Will you come too? It sounds like loads of fun!"

Hoshi Takahashi

Hoshi awoke early in the morning to find himself hanging over a pink throw pillow that had wound up on his bed. He had fallen asleep in his robe the night before, there were papers spread wildly across the covers, some crinkled probably from his tossing once he fell asleep. Hoshi exhaled slowly resting the palm of his hand over half of his face. He turned onto his stomach, feeling the pain in his neck from where he had slept oddly, the mountain of pillows that resided on his bed didn't seem to help this pain. Hoshi sighed softly, soon realizing he fell asleep sometime around 2:45. What time was it? The man turned his head towards the side of the bed where on the black nightstand sat an electronic alarm clock with the time shown in big red glowing numbers, "10:30." Hoshi swore under his breath than sat up. Ugh.

The light of morning seeped through the curtains and the green eyed man growled softly. He stepped out of the king sized bed than made his way slowly to the bathroom, only to be greeted with the sight of, if he hadn't known any better, a rather vacuous zombie. His hair was a rats nest, and the bags under his eyes were almost entirely purple. Hoshi turned the nob to the sink, watching cold water run from the tap. He began to wash his face, a chill running down his back. He had to get ready quickly or he was going to be late to Cael's.

Hoshi removed his clothes and got in the shower moments later. He washed his hair, trying to remove the rat's nest. As soon as he got out he rushed to dry his hair with a towel, then wrapped the towel around his waste. He swiftly walked back into his room, which was grand. Dimly lit by a lamp with a red lightbulb in it. He liked the way it looked when he turned that lamp on, it made the room seem more luxurious. Hoshi went straight for his dresser. It was a hand carved black dresser which he had for quite sometime now.

He dug through the drawers, finding his pare of nice black pants and a grafic t-shirt. The shirt was black as well but off to the side was a white design of a chandelier which was oddly poetic. He threw on the clothing quickly then slipped on his shoes. Phone... Where was his phone? Hoshi spun around the room looking but soon spotted it at the end of his bed.

Hoshi grumbled and slid the phone into his back pocket, grabbing his nice coat and scarf off the coat rack and putting it on. He looked in the mirror once more before leaving. The rat's nest was gone and he had managed to remove some of the dark circles under his eyes. Hoshi ran outside and hailed a cab, seeing as he didn't own a car.

He sighed as the cabbie pulled to the curb. He got in and off he went to Cael's

Image Image "Hey..." Cael looked down at his pipe as he filled it. He didn't miss Felix's look just then for a second. Somehow he knew what it was about. "You and me, alright. Stop thinking about pointless things." He didn't finish his meal, in fact he hardly touched it. Instead he got up and walked over to the doors that lead outside and opened them. Sitting down on the floor he lit his long pipe and began to smoke it with his eyes closed. "I been thinking and I should say this before Hoshi comes. Hmm...I want to move. The place I been looking at is bigger than this small dump. You might like it, it's cozy. But I won't go if you don't want to. We could stay here if you like it here." He rubbed the back of his head, holding onto the pipe with his teeth as a little smoke came out, it was a new sent, it smelt a bit like peaches and tobacco. The tiredness got the best of him and he started to feel it once he got some tobacco in his system.

The father clock tolled again, letting him know what time it was. His eyebrow raised in wonder of where Hoshi could be, it would seem he is running a bit late. Wasn't like it mattered, he was in no rush after finishing his book last night. His trouble with it was how he wanted to end it, but with a nice long smoke of his pipe, he finally thought of it and finished the ending. Speaking of the time, Cael actually had some business with a trader on some new furniture that he finally decided to get. But if Felix was to say no to moving he would turn down the trader.

Image Ciel watched as Naoi opened the door and kept bowing at him like he was the higher power. It bothered him, but he never said anything to stop it. He stepped up closer to Naoi, placing his hand softly on his shoulder, letting his fingers lace around a long strain of Naoi's hair. "Not here for the deadline, you're fine." Ciel mainly came to see if Naoi was actually working. It was due next week, but Naoi liked to work slowly. It did bother him at times, but other times he had gotten so use to it.

He slowly removed his hand from Naoi's shoulder, letting his finger slide down the strain he laced it in, letting it go and walked inside taking his brown coat off, revealing his purple V neck T-Shirt, hanging it up on the coat rack. He stepped out of his shoes and onto the floor. Ciel was traditional like that, his way is hat;s are disrespectful inside a house, shoes are worse, no one likes a scruffed up floor.

A smile formed on his lips, just slightly, it wasn't full, but it was enough to be seen, as he took cloth from his back pocket, taking a hold of Naoi's fingers gentle. When he lifted Naoi's hands there was ink on Naoi's fingertips, some of it still wet. Taking Naoi, by the hand he lead him into the kitchen, getting the cloth wet, and softly cleaning the ink off. "Like finger painting." A soft mumble escaped his lips when Ciel spoke up in a soft voice. Once he was done, he walked over to where he knew Naoi would be working. "The Art." He said looking over at Naoi as if telling him to show him what he had so far done.

Hoshi Takahashi Hoshi sat in the taxi silently after the cabbie had asked where he was going. Hoshi had given the man the directions he had obtained from Cael much earlier in the month. What a month it had been. Many new mangas had been published and released within so little time it felt as though Hoshi had no time at all to catch up. This also may have been the reason to why he had overslept. This had become consistent for him quite a lot lately yet he still managed to get to work on time and get what he had to done.

Hoshi found himself staring out the window, the same neutral expression plastered across his pale face. He blinked after a moment then looked down to his lap where his hands were folded. He felt relaxed for this small amount of time, even if he was exhausted beyond belief, at least he didn't really have to worry about work right now.

It wasn't long before he arrived Cael's home. It wasn't a bad area. Hoshi paid the cabbie then exited the taxi. He glanced behind himself as the cab drove off and Hoshi was left alone standing on the side walk. He made his way up to the front door of the house. He could already smell the smoke, which could only be from Cael's pipe. He knocked softly on the door, at waited.

Image "Hey...You and me, alright. Stop thinking about pointless things."

Felix nodded. He was right, as usual. There was no point worrying over the past. It was over and now they had a pretty good present. The smell of breakfast reminded him of his hunger and, with all negative thoughts forgotten, Felix eagerly reached forward for some of the bacon, which he then slid between two slices of bread. Content with his breakfast, he ate his makeshift sandwich thoughtfully. If Hoshi was coming over, then Felix really didn't want to be stuck in a room with them both. Hoshi made him uncomfortable, and he knew that his brother would be too busy with him to pay him any mind. So maybe he would go to his room and do some art. Or maybe he'd go for a walk.

"I been thinking and I should say this before Hoshi comes. Hmm...I want to move. The place I been looking at is bigger than this small dump. You might like it, it's cozy. But I won't go if you don't want to. We could stay here if you like it here."

Felix looked up, surprised as Cael talked about moving, and in all honesty Felix wasn't sure what he thought of the idea. He knew what he meant about the place they were in being small, but Felix didn't think that was so bad. What if they moved to a slightly bigger place and it was so big you could feel like you lived on your own? Felix did not like the thought of that at all, and neither did he like the thought of having to dismantle his room. Everything there was arranged just as he liked - his desk, his bed, the various posters on the walls and ceiling...It would take forever to recreate that. Felix paused in the process of eating his sandwich to pull off the crusts on the bread, placing them aside.

"I...I don't know," He said hesitantly, biting his lip, "Can I see it first? It sounds...great, but I like it here..."

It was then that they both heard the rap on the door, and Felix sighed, before looking up at his brother and quickly finishing his breakfast. "I was thinking, as well...Could we invite Kori over? It'd be nice to see him," Felix said this brightly, warming up to the thought of his friend. Him and Kori were so similar that he was one of the few people that Felix trusted for real. He pulled his shirt on, and grinned at Cael.

"And that'll be Hoshi. Have fun"

Nikolai hadn't slept at all the previous night. In fact, he'd even taken a break to have a cup of tea and watch the sun rise, but for almost twelve hours, he had sat at his desk. He had been flicking through the pages that Sasaki had given him so far, absorbed by his work. First, he had gone through A Love Hidden By Lies. It was his least favorite of the two mangas, and at parts he found it slow and tedious though that was only his opinion on it. When Nikolai looked at it objectively, the manga was well written and pretty good. Nevertheless, Nikolai had gone through each page carefully, studying it and making notes on the few things that might need to be changed. And then he did the same for One of a Kind. He much preferred this one, and it was a joy to read, though that only made Nikolai go through the pages a lot more thoroughly.

The sun had risen by the time Nikolai finished with the two mangas, and he was tired, though it was time well spent. Ink covered the tips of his fingers as he raked them through his purple hair. He still wasn't finished, despite the early hour. He had yet to reply to the letters he had received from his family, but he looked forward to that. It was always nice to send them something short to let them know things were well. And things really were well. Nikolai was enjoying life at the moment, even if he was a little lonely. But that was all okay. He was normally too busy to meet with people at the moment anyway.

His steps were almost silent as he made his way over to the bathroom, where he would start the day with a shower before he had something to eat. The steam rolled lethargically across the mirror as he turned the water on, making sure it ran hot. His clothing came free next, and then he stepped under the stream of water. Nikolai felt himself instantly relaxing, exhaling the stress he hadn't realized he had been carrying slowly. It felt good to be able to clean himself after a busy night like the last, and it gave him an opportunity to think of the things he had to do with his day.

Image Taking the drawing from Naoi's hand, Ciel looked over it. He could see the problem, instantly. "Try, this.." He switched it to a new sheet of paper, not wanting to touch Naoi's drawing, he didn't are to ruin it. Instead he started over, he held the sketchbook close to his chest, as he swiped the pencil over it with ease and grace. His brows caved in and his eyes became concentrated. When he was finished he had a drawing of a girl who wore glasses, she had long brown hair and a baby face, yet the face had a bit of a darkness to it, she looked like an angel but her eyes read she was strong willed. Her glasses was at the tip of her nose. Her boobs were big, but her size of butt made it seem not so big, along with her thighs and stomach. In ways the girl looked like Naoi, but in other ways it looked like Ciel.

"When drawing, try not to think so hard. Just let the thoughts flow onto paper." His voice was deep like always, but there was gentleness inside his tone. His eyes became soft once again as he turned the notebook over to show Naoi his work. "The ideas are right in front of you, so just use them." Handing the note pad over to Naoi, Ciel walked over to a chair and leaned his head back. He was relaxing in the room, but still his eyes were a bit fixed on Naoi.

Image "Hmm.." He breathed in a puff of smoke and nodded. "Yes you can see it." A knock at the door had him getting up to his feet, walking over to the door. But he had just remembered what other thing was asked. "Frost? Yeah, I don't see why not." Opening the door he smirked at Hoshi. "Late today, but that's fine."

"Ah wait Felix! I actually need you to set me idea's on some new characters. I need a boy and a vampire doctor. Draw me some idea's that I can use." Rubbing the back of his head he glanced over at Hoshi with a chuckle. "Morning."

After placing the pipe down on the counter near the doorway, he reached forward and took a hold of Hoshi's face, gently brushing his cheeks with his thumbs. "Well that's good, you at least look rested." He smiled at him gently and stepped aside to let him through. "Come on in kiddo. There is actually something I'd like for you to do."

Image Felix grinned and nodded excitedly as Cael said he could invite Kori over. He had just scrambled to his feet, when he moved so quickly he tripped over his own feet. Gasping, he stumbled, and almost fell, before saving himself on the frame of a door. He dragged himself up to his feet, before finding himself face to face with Hoshi. Felix instantly felt his face flush a deep, awkward tomato color. He looked between their guest and his brother, clasping his stinging hands behind his back tightly, biting his lip.

"Ah wat Felix! I actually need you to set me ideas on some new characters. I need a boy and a vampire doctor. Draw me some ideas that I can use"

At just the mention, Felix gasped and almost bounced with excitement. Vampires were one of his favorites at the moment. Last month, he had spent hours and hours drawing foxes, but after seeing a new vampire film they were his new favorite. Ideas flooded his head and he grinned, before realizing that he probably looked somewhat ridiculous right then. After tripping over his own feet, and standing there grinning like an idiot, normally Felix wouldn't really care. It was pretty normal for him. But he had realized that he was stood in front of their guest, and his blush deepened. He stepped away from them both, backing towards his room.

"Um, sure. I'll do it...right now," Felix smirked and giggled awkwardly, "It was nice to see you, Hoshi," He muttered before turning and running back to his room. He slid the door closed hastily, and then sighed, and relaxed. Felix grinned as he then went to the desk where he tried to keep most of his art equipment. Well, he tried at least. A lot of the time it sort of seeped across his room, and then he had to have a massive tidy up of it all - which almost always took at least three days because of his tendency to become distracted by the smallest things.

He sung to himself as he pulled out a relatively new sketch pad and a couple of pencils, tucking them under his arm as he left his room again. He could hear the murmurings of conversation from Cael and Hoshi, but paid them no attention. Felix turned to walk outside to sit under a tree to do his work, but before he did, he picked up the phone so that he could call Kori. Moments later, Felix was seated comfortably in the shade of the tree as he dialed his friend's number, flicking to a clean page in his sketch pad as he waited for him to pick up.

Hoshi Takahashi Hoshi remained expressionless as Cael seemed to be speaking to somebody else inside. Must've been his brother -- Fe, Felix -- or something. It was really only moments later before he saw Felix cross the room and say, "It was nice to see you Hoshi." He was gone before Hoshi had thought to say anything.

"Morning," said Cael promptly after.

"Hello," Hoshi replied back along with a small nod.

He watched Cael set down his pipe, and before he knew it, Cael held his face, Hoshi's eyes widened slightly with surprise. He leaned forward awkwardly, tempted to pull away.

"Well that's good, you at least look rested."

He had noticed. This struck Hoshi as odd. He knew he had always looked tired, today was no exception. Sure this may have been one of his better days, but he could honestly see no difference in the way he looked on lesser days.

Cael had let go of his face, and removed himself from the walkway. "Come on in kiddo. There is actually something I'd like for you to do."

"Kiddo?" Hoshi began, the empty expression still clear on his face. "I'm barely younger than you." Hoshi stepped inside after a moment, his hand felt for the phone in his pocket out of muscle memory, no surprise, it was still there.

~ Kori ~ Frost ~ The memories to the wrong turn and he started to remember his fathers words. "Kori, you know you won't be able to make it in the real world without me." His father had spoken up to him while sitting down watching T.V. "You'll fail and need me once again, and when you do, I'll be waiting."

Father would always to this when ever he saw Kori rising to be the best, always trying to make him fall, but somehow he knew father was only doing this because he cared. Letting Kori know that no matter what happens, he would always be there for him, even if it was in a mean way. A year later his father passed away, he had gotten really sick and couldn't cure himself from it. For Kori's mother, she had died giving birth to him in the ER, she got to see him, she smiled and passed away. The grandparents died long before Kori was born, only leaving Kori to spend the rest of his life with his uncle Jack. Jack raised Kori from the age of 13 to now. Recently Kori had moved out of Jack's home to live on his own. They do still talk nearly everyday, when he can find time to call Kori.

Kori gasped the sound of his phone startled him, nearly making him drop his hot chocolate right out of his hands. Trying to balance the hot chocolates in one hand, he pulled out his phone and smiled once he saw who was calling. "..Felix.." Sighing his friends name into some kind of relief. "Are you ok? You're not hurt are you?" Becoming worried, Kori's face looked a little sad. Always caring for his best friend to be ok, he was easily worried.

Felix and Kori had been friends for a long while now, it seems they have been friends around the time Felix and his brother moved into town, nearly around the same time Kori was developing problems of his own. It worked out, they both had someone to talk to. Even though Felix was old then Kori, he still felt that he had someone around his age to speak to things about.

The sound of the bus drove by Kori as he didn't walk onto the bus and turned around to face the wall as he talked into the phone, trying to hide his worried expression from the world.

Image Felix doodled thoughtfully on the corner of his page between chewing the end of his pencil. He started to frown as the phone continued to ring, concerned by the lapse of silence, before he Kori picked up.

"Felix...Are you ok? You're not hurt are you?"

At the sound of his friend's voice, Felix instantly grinned. He loved Kori, well, he loved most people, but he loved Kori deeply as a friend. He giggled, and put his sketch pad aside, though he continued to play with the pencil. Felix smiled, but he felt it fade a little. There was something wrong with the tone of his friend's voice. He sounded nervous and wary, and why would he be asking if he was okay? Of course he was.

"Kori! Hey, yeah, I'm great...Why wouldn't I be?" Felix replied brightly, running a hand through his messy blonde hair. He frowned and then paused before asking him, "Are you alright, Kori? Something sounds wrong..."

That also closed the question of whether or not he would be seeing Kori today. Felix knew him well, and he knew that his normally bright and cheery friend was prone to moments of sadness, just like himself. And that made Felix feel a pang of sadness. He really hated when his friends were sad or down. It meant that whether Kori liked it or not, he'd make his way over to him to cheer him up. As Felix waited for an answer, he gathered up the sketch pad that he'd barely even touched, and took it back inside.

~ Kori ~ Frost ~ "Kori! Hey, yeah, I'm great...Are you alright, Kori? Something sounds wrong..." Felix's voice echoed through the phone in worry.

Kori slowly smiled, pressing his against the wall of a building new the bus stop. "Yes don't worry, I am alright. Did you need anything?"

The sound of an ambulance zoomed by, but it didn't really scare him, his mind was lost in his own thoughts. The wind of the vehicle caused his hair to fly around, like an angered wind passing through. The loud ring of the echoing sound of the alarms on the vehicle brushed inside his ears and whole body. A little time after a police car flew by, making the same echoing sound even more effective. It was relaxing somehow to have a loud sound drain out your thoughts, practically yelling at you to pull yourself together.

With a sweet sigh, Kori laughed. "Sorry Felix, I wasn't myself for a moment. I think I am probably working too much. Are you going to the book fair?"

Image Felix juggled his sketch pad and pencils, cradling the phone between his head and his shoulder as he pushed back inside, almost tripping over the frame of the door as he threw his things onto his unmade bed.

"Yes don't worry, I am alright. Did you need anything?"

"I was just calling to ask if you're busy today? Cael has Hoshi over, so I've not really got a lot to do. I was just wondering if you were free?"

Felix glanced at himself in the mirror as he spoke, trying to tame his hair. It was useless. There was really nothing he could do about how messy it looked. There was a long silence on the end of the phone, but Felix just assumed that Kari was momentarily busy. He put his phone on speaker and placed it on his table, waiting for a reply as he went about tidying his room a little. He threw his covers back onto his bed and kicked a drawer on his desk shut. Abruptly, the sound of sirens emanated from the phone, and Felix jumped before rushing back to it. Kori still hadn't replied and Felix was suddenly struck by the thought of whether he was really okay or not. He darted back to the phone and spoke into it.

"Kori? You there? Are you okay?" His voice was urgent and concerned, but he tried to keep himself calm.

"Sorry Felix, I wasn't myself for a moment. I think I am probably working too much. Are you going to the book fair?"

Felix breathed a sigh of relief and took the phone off speaker, before holding it to his ear again, and then replied, "Oh, god...You scared me for a minute then," Felix giggled self consciously, "You're definitely working too much, and I wouldn't miss the fair for the world! You know that!"
