Naoi Akisora

Naoi sat outside his home, letting the fresh air keep his ponytail float just above his shoulder. It's so peaceful. Why can't we just stop time here and now and capture this tranquility. Naoi closed his eyes and took a deep breath, standing up. Naoi was sure his deadline was going to just float behind him and poke him in the shoulder- suprising him. He didn't want Ciel to yell at him, though he never really raised his voice.

Exhaling, and letting the breath out he slid open the door to his traditional japanese house. He trodded down the hallway, into his 'library' or atleast thats what he nicknamed his favroite room. It was the one room in his house that wasn't always spotless. He slid open the door and gave a soft smile at the disarray, he'd been working so hard on a new character to introduce he'd ended up wit paper everywhere and the sketchbooks that were usually nice and lined up on the book shelves thrown out along with a few anatomy books.

"Well, I'll just clean up the room.." Naoi picked up a few sketch books and shelved them back in order, they were all in place by date, "And then I'll start..." . Naoi went to work peacefully cleaning up the mess and organizing it. After he was done he sat down on a swivel chair infront of his desk. This new character... she's no good. I'll try again, maybe she should have longer hair... Naoi started drawing in his most recently aquired sketch book, trying to figure out what the new antagonist for 'love prism' was going to look like.

Luka Crosszeria

Luka sat down at his desk, facing the wrong way in his swivel chair and typing at his laptop. He'd noticed lately that for some reason their companies manga-ka's just had something against turning in anything on time. In fact Luka was sure they were doing it on purpose just so editors like him had to yell at the printers and tell them to move back the printing date.

He'd finished drafting up something to sell Yuuto's manga better, a book signing where everybody could dress up as their favroite character. He was sure Yuuto's loyal fans would eat it up and it might draw in newbies to Yuuto's work. He sighed and stetched, picking up his cell so he could call his manga-ka and schedule it. Of course he had to take the thing through the finances department and whatnot but he was sure they'd go along.

"But I'm done. That's what counts." Luka stretched out, talking to himself.

He picked up the cell and dialed the guy's number, The real question is if he's actually going to finish in time. Actually that's not even a question. Knowing him he's probably daydreaming about something outrageous or flirting. I'd be shocked If he was actually getting his work done

Image ~ Kori ~ Frost ~ After Kori's nice long hot bath first thing in the morning he got dressed and painted his nails the same blue as his eyes and hair. He started to hum to himself one of his favorite songs, while waiting for his nails to dry by the fan that he always has going, because of his small apartment would always get so hot. He lived near the ocean, a place where it is suppose to be cooler, but with the beating sun beaming down on it, it makes his room really hot.

Today he felt like wearing casual clothing, but normally he would wear something fancy or out going like cosplaying clothes, such as princes, glamor, or just something really flashy like pop star clothing. But today was a simple day for him. He smiled to himself, with a soft gentle smile, it turned his expression to a settled and pleasant look. Sitting down on the bed with a nice plop, he sat up straight, crossing his leg over the other, while lifting his hands up to his hair, arching his back into a perfect curve, he started to tie a rubber band into the left back side of his head only, holding some pieces of hair up with bobby pins. This was something he always did with his hair, like his own personal mark. Ever since he was a kid, he was always told to show some of his face, so as a joke he put his hair up on one side and showed a part/some of his face, just like they asked. The joke turned and people complimented it, saying that it suited him best. Ever since then he has put his hair like that, it slowly became a habit. He can still remember those days as a kid, he remembered that all he could ever do was want to travel and see the world.

Kori giggled at the thought of remembering that again. He has got to see some of the world, as an editor he has done nothing but move around, once the Manga-Ka had finished their series, he'd pack up and leave like he was never there. Helping others is what he had always done best, making them feel loved was another thing he enjoyed, but the flaw he had was shying away from people whenever they got to close. He swore he'd work on it, but never got around to it.

I wonder what Yuko is up to? I hope she finished the book. It really needs to get done. I finished the editing on the other pages, just waiting on the ending.

Wrapping his scarf around his neck and slipping on a white sweater over his blue loose shirt, with the scarf on it sorta made it look like he had boobs. He tilted his head and laughed softly. "Silly." he said out loud to himself as he walked out the door and headed towards the coffee shop, just 6 minutes away from his place.

"Good morning Kori! We have your order already and warm for you." Hellen smiled at Kori, walking towards him with his hot chocolate in the coffee cup. "I hope you don't mind, but I made this one different. I wanted to try something new, so I figured you'd be perfect to test it on! Here try!" She shoved the drink in his hands before he could smile and greet her back.

He giggled and kissed her cheek. "Good morning to you too Hellen." His smile was pure as he sniffed the hot chocolate. He could smell the new ingredients. Spearmint, like the little Spearmint Chocolate candies. They are one of his favorite candies. "Oh you didn't!" He said excitedly and sipped some down, without realizing it, he moaned softly at the lovely taste. "This is wonderful Hellen. Thank you."

"No thank you! You gave me the idea. Glad you like it, I am going to put it on the menu next week." She smiled as she hugged him and cleared off his table. "Plus there is something I want to ask you Kori." Her tone of voice changed as he sat down, looking at her as she crouched down, resting her chin on the table. "I been wanting to check out this book that is suppose to be coming out soon, and I am to nervous to go alone. Could you come to the book fair with me? Please! I will treat you to food!"

He smiled and giggled at how cute she was being. "Yeah I can go, it is on a day that I don't work, so it will be no problem. Friday right? Yeah I can go."

"Oh goody!" She jumped over and hugged him tightly. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

"Not like it would be a problem. I enjoy what the fair has in store." Kori got up from his seat and tilted his head at Hellen. "Could I get three more of these hot chocolates?"

He soon got his three hot chocolates, by the time he finished the one he already had. Hope Yuko, would want one., he smiled as he thought, looking down at the hot chocolates as he kept walking towards her house. He never drove, he preferred to walk, it's what helps him keep the perfect figure and stamina up. He stopped and started at the drinks. ...Wont just one of these make Yuko, high? Just one just drinking two makes me feel like I got a sugar rush, but she is smaller than me.... He started to make a debate in his head, whether or not he would want to deal with it as he stood there on the sidewalk, near the bus stop.

Image "Hey...You and me, alright. Stop thinking about pointless things."

Felix nodded. He was right, as usual. There was no point worrying over the past. It was over and now they had a pretty good present. The smell of breakfast reminded him of his hunger and, with all negative thoughts forgotten, Felix eagerly reached forward for some of the bacon, which he then slid between two slices of bread. Content with his breakfast, he ate his makeshift sandwich thoughtfully. If Hoshi was coming over, then Felix really didn't want to be stuck in a room with them both. Hoshi made him uncomfortable, and he knew that his brother would be too busy with him to pay him any mind. So maybe he would go to his room and do some art. Or maybe he'd go for a walk.

"I been thinking and I should say this before Hoshi comes. Hmm...I want to move. The place I been looking at is bigger than this small dump. You might like it, it's cozy. But I won't go if you don't want to. We could stay here if you like it here."

Felix looked up, surprised as Cael talked about moving, and in all honesty Felix wasn't sure what he thought of the idea. He knew what he meant about the place they were in being small, but Felix didn't think that was so bad. What if they moved to a slightly bigger place and it was so big you could feel like you lived on your own? Felix did not like the thought of that at all, and neither did he like the thought of having to dismantle his room. Everything there was arranged just as he liked - his desk, his bed, the various posters on the walls and ceiling...It would take forever to recreate that. Felix paused in the process of eating his sandwich to pull off the crusts on the bread, placing them aside.

"I...I don't know," He said hesitantly, biting his lip, "Can I see it first? It sounds...great, but I like it here..."

It was then that they both heard the rap on the door, and Felix sighed, before looking up at his brother and quickly finishing his breakfast. "I was thinking, as well...Could we invite Kori over? It'd be nice to see him," Felix said this brightly, warming up to the thought of his friend. Him and Kori were so similar that he was one of the few people that Felix trusted for real. He pulled his shirt on, and grinned at Cael.

"And that'll be Hoshi. Have fun"

Nikolai hadn't slept at all the previous night. In fact, he'd even taken a break to have a cup of tea and watch the sun rise, but for almost twelve hours, he had sat at his desk. He had been flicking through the pages that Sasaki had given him so far, absorbed by his work. First, he had gone through A Love Hidden By Lies. It was his least favorite of the two mangas, and at parts he found it slow and tedious though that was only his opinion on it. When Nikolai looked at it objectively, the manga was well written and pretty good. Nevertheless, Nikolai had gone through each page carefully, studying it and making notes on the few things that might need to be changed. And then he did the same for One of a Kind. He much preferred this one, and it was a joy to read, though that only made Nikolai go through the pages a lot more thoroughly.

The sun had risen by the time Nikolai finished with the two mangas, and he was tired, though it was time well spent. Ink covered the tips of his fingers as he raked them through his purple hair. He still wasn't finished, despite the early hour. He had yet to reply to the letters he had received from his family, but he looked forward to that. It was always nice to send them something short to let them know things were well. And things really were well. Nikolai was enjoying life at the moment, even if he was a little lonely. But that was all okay. He was normally too busy to meet with people at the moment anyway.

His steps were almost silent as he made his way over to the bathroom, where he would start the day with a shower before he had something to eat. The steam rolled lethargically across the mirror as he turned the water on, making sure it ran hot. His clothing came free next, and then he stepped under the stream of water. Nikolai felt himself instantly relaxing, exhaling the stress he hadn't realized he had been carrying slowly. It felt good to be able to clean himself after a busy night like the last, and it gave him an opportunity to think of the things he had to do with his day.

Image Felix grinned and nodded excitedly as Cael said he could invite Kori over. He had just scrambled to his feet, when he moved so quickly he tripped over his own feet. Gasping, he stumbled, and almost fell, before saving himself on the frame of a door. He dragged himself up to his feet, before finding himself face to face with Hoshi. Felix instantly felt his face flush a deep, awkward tomato color. He looked between their guest and his brother, clasping his stinging hands behind his back tightly, biting his lip.

"Ah wat Felix! I actually need you to set me ideas on some new characters. I need a boy and a vampire doctor. Draw me some ideas that I can use"

At just the mention, Felix gasped and almost bounced with excitement. Vampires were one of his favorites at the moment. Last month, he had spent hours and hours drawing foxes, but after seeing a new vampire film they were his new favorite. Ideas flooded his head and he grinned, before realizing that he probably looked somewhat ridiculous right then. After tripping over his own feet, and standing there grinning like an idiot, normally Felix wouldn't really care. It was pretty normal for him. But he had realized that he was stood in front of their guest, and his blush deepened. He stepped away from them both, backing towards his room.

"Um, sure. I'll do it...right now," Felix smirked and giggled awkwardly, "It was nice to see you, Hoshi," He muttered before turning and running back to his room. He slid the door closed hastily, and then sighed, and relaxed. Felix grinned as he then went to the desk where he tried to keep most of his art equipment. Well, he tried at least. A lot of the time it sort of seeped across his room, and then he had to have a massive tidy up of it all - which almost always took at least three days because of his tendency to become distracted by the smallest things.

He sung to himself as he pulled out a relatively new sketch pad and a couple of pencils, tucking them under his arm as he left his room again. He could hear the murmurings of conversation from Cael and Hoshi, but paid them no attention. Felix turned to walk outside to sit under a tree to do his work, but before he did, he picked up the phone so that he could call Kori. Moments later, Felix was seated comfortably in the shade of the tree as he dialed his friend's number, flicking to a clean page in his sketch pad as he waited for him to pick up.

~ Kori ~ Frost ~ The memories to the wrong turn and he started to remember his fathers words. "Kori, you know you won't be able to make it in the real world without me." His father had spoken up to him while sitting down watching T.V. "You'll fail and need me once again, and when you do, I'll be waiting."

Father would always to this when ever he saw Kori rising to be the best, always trying to make him fall, but somehow he knew father was only doing this because he cared. Letting Kori know that no matter what happens, he would always be there for him, even if it was in a mean way. A year later his father passed away, he had gotten really sick and couldn't cure himself from it. For Kori's mother, she had died giving birth to him in the ER, she got to see him, she smiled and passed away. The grandparents died long before Kori was born, only leaving Kori to spend the rest of his life with his uncle Jack. Jack raised Kori from the age of 13 to now. Recently Kori had moved out of Jack's home to live on his own. They do still talk nearly everyday, when he can find time to call Kori.

Kori gasped the sound of his phone startled him, nearly making him drop his hot chocolate right out of his hands. Trying to balance the hot chocolates in one hand, he pulled out his phone and smiled once he saw who was calling. "..Felix.." Sighing his friends name into some kind of relief. "Are you ok? You're not hurt are you?" Becoming worried, Kori's face looked a little sad. Always caring for his best friend to be ok, he was easily worried.

Felix and Kori had been friends for a long while now, it seems they have been friends around the time Felix and his brother moved into town, nearly around the same time Kori was developing problems of his own. It worked out, they both had someone to talk to. Even though Felix was old then Kori, he still felt that he had someone around his age to speak to things about.

The sound of the bus drove by Kori as he didn't walk onto the bus and turned around to face the wall as he talked into the phone, trying to hide his worried expression from the world.

Image Felix doodled thoughtfully on the corner of his page between chewing the end of his pencil. He started to frown as the phone continued to ring, concerned by the lapse of silence, before he Kori picked up.

"Felix...Are you ok? You're not hurt are you?"

At the sound of his friend's voice, Felix instantly grinned. He loved Kori, well, he loved most people, but he loved Kori deeply as a friend. He giggled, and put his sketch pad aside, though he continued to play with the pencil. Felix smiled, but he felt it fade a little. There was something wrong with the tone of his friend's voice. He sounded nervous and wary, and why would he be asking if he was okay? Of course he was.

"Kori! Hey, yeah, I'm great...Why wouldn't I be?" Felix replied brightly, running a hand through his messy blonde hair. He frowned and then paused before asking him, "Are you alright, Kori? Something sounds wrong..."

That also closed the question of whether or not he would be seeing Kori today. Felix knew him well, and he knew that his normally bright and cheery friend was prone to moments of sadness, just like himself. And that made Felix feel a pang of sadness. He really hated when his friends were sad or down. It meant that whether Kori liked it or not, he'd make his way over to him to cheer him up. As Felix waited for an answer, he gathered up the sketch pad that he'd barely even touched, and took it back inside.

~ Kori ~ Frost ~ "Kori! Hey, yeah, I'm great...Are you alright, Kori? Something sounds wrong..." Felix's voice echoed through the phone in worry.

Kori slowly smiled, pressing his against the wall of a building new the bus stop. "Yes don't worry, I am alright. Did you need anything?"

The sound of an ambulance zoomed by, but it didn't really scare him, his mind was lost in his own thoughts. The wind of the vehicle caused his hair to fly around, like an angered wind passing through. The loud ring of the echoing sound of the alarms on the vehicle brushed inside his ears and whole body. A little time after a police car flew by, making the same echoing sound even more effective. It was relaxing somehow to have a loud sound drain out your thoughts, practically yelling at you to pull yourself together.

With a sweet sigh, Kori laughed. "Sorry Felix, I wasn't myself for a moment. I think I am probably working too much. Are you going to the book fair?"

Image Felix juggled his sketch pad and pencils, cradling the phone between his head and his shoulder as he pushed back inside, almost tripping over the frame of the door as he threw his things onto his unmade bed.

"Yes don't worry, I am alright. Did you need anything?"

"I was just calling to ask if you're busy today? Cael has Hoshi over, so I've not really got a lot to do. I was just wondering if you were free?"

Felix glanced at himself in the mirror as he spoke, trying to tame his hair. It was useless. There was really nothing he could do about how messy it looked. There was a long silence on the end of the phone, but Felix just assumed that Kari was momentarily busy. He put his phone on speaker and placed it on his table, waiting for a reply as he went about tidying his room a little. He threw his covers back onto his bed and kicked a drawer on his desk shut. Abruptly, the sound of sirens emanated from the phone, and Felix jumped before rushing back to it. Kori still hadn't replied and Felix was suddenly struck by the thought of whether he was really okay or not. He darted back to the phone and spoke into it.

"Kori? You there? Are you okay?" His voice was urgent and concerned, but he tried to keep himself calm.

"Sorry Felix, I wasn't myself for a moment. I think I am probably working too much. Are you going to the book fair?"

Felix breathed a sigh of relief and took the phone off speaker, before holding it to his ear again, and then replied, "Oh, god...You scared me for a minute then," Felix giggled self consciously, "You're definitely working too much, and I wouldn't miss the fair for the world! You know that!"
