Description

Luka Crosszeria

|Seke|

Name: Luka Crosszeria
Age: 26
Role: Editor
Manga: N/A

My Life
Image
Personality: Luka is blunt and values honesty. He tells you exactly how he feels. He may use sarcasm very often but he tells the truth. Sarcasm is almost a second language for him. He may come off rude if you don't know him very well. He won't hesitate to tell you what's garbage and what's manga. He takes pride in his skills as a editor and won't hesitate to show or tell you. But he's naturally cocky and confident. He doesn't understand the word 'no' when applied to him. He goes after what and who he wants and expects to get it. He treats the women he works with and around quite well though, often giving them flowers or chocolate. He may flirt mercilessly with women but it's because he knows what to do to be on their good side. He feels that if women like him that things will go smoother and faster. He believes in hard work and expects every one else to be at his pace.

Luka is very dedicated to editing though. If he sees a manga fit he will put everything he has into it. He will be angry and offended if a manga he worked on doesn't succeed. He despises the Printers and wants work turned in on time. But he does enjoy the excuse to yell at them. He is extremely jealous and possessive, he is the type to kill the person you hugged at your mom's birthday party and ask questions later. He will drop everything for the person he loves in a instant. But he would rather play it off as not a big deal. He is very romantic when he wants to be.
History: He was raised as a only man in a pack of girls. His dad was rather submissive and just went with the flow. He quickly picked up on romance and how to treat a lady and applies this to any lover. He ended up editing Shoujo manga since it's what he was raised around. But he quickly moved out his family house not that his sister don't visit his apartment often.
Family: Sisters, Hinata, Seika, Kanade, Risa and Nerine Crosszeria. Mother Tohka and Father Sakumo.

Naoi Akisora

Naoi sat outside his home, letting the fresh air keep his ponytail float just above his shoulder. It's so peaceful. Why can't we just stop time here and now and capture this tranquility. Naoi closed his eyes and took a deep breath, standing up. Naoi was sure his deadline was going to just float behind him and poke him in the shoulder- suprising him. He didn't want Ciel to yell at him, though he never really raised his voice.

Exhaling, and letting the breath out he slid open the door to his traditional japanese house. He trodded down the hallway, into his 'library' or atleast thats what he nicknamed his favroite room. It was the one room in his house that wasn't always spotless. He slid open the door and gave a soft smile at the disarray, he'd been working so hard on a new character to introduce he'd ended up wit paper everywhere and the sketchbooks that were usually nice and lined up on the book shelves thrown out along with a few anatomy books.

"Well, I'll just clean up the room.." Naoi picked up a few sketch books and shelved them back in order, they were all in place by date, "And then I'll start..." . Naoi went to work peacefully cleaning up the mess and organizing it. After he was done he sat down on a swivel chair infront of his desk. This new character... she's no good. I'll try again, maybe she should have longer hair... Naoi started drawing in his most recently aquired sketch book, trying to figure out what the new antagonist for 'love prism' was going to look like.

Luka Crosszeria

Luka sat down at his desk, facing the wrong way in his swivel chair and typing at his laptop. He'd noticed lately that for some reason their companies manga-ka's just had something against turning in anything on time. In fact Luka was sure they were doing it on purpose just so editors like him had to yell at the printers and tell them to move back the printing date.

He'd finished drafting up something to sell Yuuto's manga better, a book signing where everybody could dress up as their favroite character. He was sure Yuuto's loyal fans would eat it up and it might draw in newbies to Yuuto's work. He sighed and stetched, picking up his cell so he could call his manga-ka and schedule it. Of course he had to take the thing through the finances department and whatnot but he was sure they'd go along.

"But I'm done. That's what counts." Luka stretched out, talking to himself.

He picked up the cell and dialed the guy's number, The real question is if he's actually going to finish in time. Actually that's not even a question. Knowing him he's probably daydreaming about something outrageous or flirting. I'd be shocked If he was actually getting his work done

Yuuto had been working on a new character for his manga, a psychic woman who possessed a Hoshi-No-Tama, but got distracted and Imagewas thinking about where he could find a Hoshi-No-Tama when Luka called him. He had to do a little digging around to find the phone, but when he did and flipped it open, he fell back into his desk chair. "Hello, editor of mine. How does it go? Before you ask, yes, I want to go to the book fair! Let's go! Go! They might have volume seventeen of xxxHolic!" Yuuto was virtually jumping in his seat, mostly due to the five cappuccinos he had drunk in the last hour to keep himself awake after a full night of playing dating simulations, supposedly for "research material".

After the sun finally risen and he put a limit on his "researching", he had gone to Starbucks and bought six milk chocolate cappuccinos, the sixth of which he had in his other hand as he rocked the chair back and forth, waiting for an answer. When he got back all the caffeine had given him inspiration for a new character, a patient in the hospital who could see spirits and had control over a kitsune spirit. I mean, the girl needs at least one character she can actually interact with, right? he had thought at the time, but then she seemed to be getting more complicated than he had bargained for, so he had given up for a little while and started daydreaming again. Luka's call broke him out of his haze, but he still was mulling over how to beat a kitsune fox spirit if you couldn't see them...

"I'm going to restrict you from coffee if you keep overdosing. How many have you drunk so far today? Let me guess, 3 so far?" Luka chuckled then continued back on to business. "With all that energy you have I hope that you've been working on the manga instead of just daydreaming about it."

Luka knew full and well if he din't keep tabs on Yuuto he wouldn't get anything done on time. Yuuto had a tendency to think that he could finish that one last chapter before the deadline but in actuality couldn't. Luka didn't particularly hate his daydreamy tendencies since they were what made his manga's so good. What Luka did mind was pushing back the printing date, the printers were all evil people in his mind. " Anyways, The book fair will last for today and the next three days, when can you be ready with atleast a sneak peak of your newest manga?"

Another thing Luka knew was that fans were easily pleased, any small progress would send them over the edge in speculations and guesses and so on. As long as there are no fangirls. I hate those people. They are so fucking annoying, they don't even know his real name, only the pen name.

"Five and a half, actually. And yeah! Sort of. I had an idea for a new character, one who could actually have conversations with Nemuri-chan." Nemuri was the main character of his manga, Imageand he had been having plenty of trouble with her being unable to do anything besides watch all the other characters. "She's going decently. Kinda. But she's starting to become the main character herself. Toooooo maaaaany detaaaaiils...." Yuuto flopped down on his desk, the cell phone propped against his ear with his shoulder, beginning to crash. "The first chapter's done, though. I'm proud of it. Hey, come over and I'll show you! Yeah!" He sat up again, beginning to spin the wheeled office chair, muttering "Wheeeee."

Yuuto snapped the phone shut and jumped up, steadying himself (hey, spinning makes you dizzy) before putting down his last cappuccino and picking up his pencils. Luka's going to want more done than just one episode chapter thing, but I can't do anything until I finish this character. But with all this background, she's becoming more complicated than absolutely necessary, sooooo... He began crossing out frivolous facts with flourishing swoops across the page. "Goodbye dead husband, goodbye possessed aunt, and goodbye tumor!" He sighed and sat back and began throwing darts at a poster of the word 'stress' tacked to the wall on the other side of the room, now out of energy.

Luka rolled his eyes at his manga-ka, Luka should of guessed six . He put on his coat and packed up his editing materials and a Yuut's last published manga but of course not the 'commercial' manga but the type editors worked with, literal hand made ink marks on paper. With that he left, catching the train at the last moment.

On the way he reviewed the manuscript looking at the last events that had happened. Luka did love Yuuto's work, it was the only reason Luka worked harder for him than any other manga-ka he edits. That..... and Yuuto took alot more work to keep up with.

When he arrived at Yuuto's he knocked at the door, already feeling exhausted and he hadn't even talked to the man yet. He just knew it was coming though, whatever problem Yuuto was talking about.

Yuuto opened the door as Luka knocked, as he had been standing there watching through the peephole for him to show up. He spread his arms wide, the chapter rough draft in his outstretched hand. "Konnichiwa! ImageThe new character is now usable."

He ushered Luka in and handed him another coffee, this one a strong black. "Considering your work ethic, I figured you'd be up late, too. You're welcome." Yuuto was always prepared with some sort of bitter refreshment to give his editor when he came over. In fact, he had something for everyone he knew should they pay him an unexpected visit. It was polite, after all. Not that coming over without notice was polite in itself, but still. He even had a jar of "energy" (more like lemon-flavored Jell-O, but oh well) just in case some sort of spirit or ghost stopped in his apartment.

"Konnichiwa, Yuuto. Thanks." Luka took the coffee from Yuuto. When it came to coffee as much as he liked to Luka couldn't talk about Yuuto too badly since for Luka Starbucks was his second home. He flipped through the manuscript, looking at each panel closely.

Yuuto's problem has always been spacing. Since the guy was a energetic person his manuscript's tended to be ore energetic than it should be. "Have you drawn the new character yet?" Luka made mental notes of the panels that needed more details inserted.

This should be something interesting for his fans.

"Yeah, here. The only thing that's set in stone so far is her appearance." Yuuto handed Luka a piece of notebook paper he'd been Imagescribbling on. It had a had a large picture of a woman with long, dark hair, wearing a priestess outfit and carrying a large, smooth white ball. It had light, long swooping lines and lots of curves. "She's a psychic so she can talk to spirits. That thing she's carrying is a Hoshi-No-Tama. It contains the soul of a kitsune spirit, and she can call on it to help her whenever she wants, since it can't go far from the HNT."

He watched Luka as he went over the rough draft, and when he looked up Yuuto did this little hand motion where he twisted his hand between a thumbs-up and a thumbs-down, waiting for an opinion.

When Luka looked up Yuuto was making a little gesture by moving his thumb in a semi circle, asking for Luka's opinion on his work. "It's pretty good so far, just work a bit more on the details of her hair. Otherwise I like it." Luka handed Yuuto back the paper he'd drawn the girl in.

"And I'd give some more details to the background's in the last page of this." Luka handed back the rough draft. "Now if only there was more than one chapter." Luka smirked, he never meant any harm by his comments he just ws fond of making them.

Luka then gave a thumbs up that was only slightly tilted downward, meaning that it was almost perfect. Not that I should of expected him to have too many chapters...

Yuuto put his hand down. "Well, it is only a rough draft, so that's to be expected." He nodded at Luka's comments, but when Luka said "Now if only there was more than one chapter," Yuuto's head sank a little. Image "Ah...well, sorry. I couldn't do anything more without someone for Nemuri-chan to talk to, so I spent all the time after finishing that chapter working on the new character." He fiddled with the corners of the drawing, staring down at it and looking a little disappointed. "She was really hard to write, so she took a lot of time."

He stood up and picked up another dart, throwing it at the 'stress' poster. "I'll see what I can do about the details, but I probably won't be able to finish a new chapter for a while..."
