Momo

Blue eyes bright and eager, Momo's toes had dipped into the cold waters without a set back. Although it was colder than she anticipated, there was no time to back out or dawdle and she had to get moving as fast as she could if she wanted to at least catch one wave and say she had at least one surfing experience before the excursion was over. It would be exciting to tell her mum all that she had learned; how to play chicken fight, going to her first party and learning spin the bottle.. well maybe not that, but surfing definitely! The chances of seeing the beach anytime soon afterwards were also minimal. She plopped the board in the water, easily positioning herself on top of it and had managed to start paddling only to be stopped midway- "Hey wait up!! You need to strap your ankle first!!" "Eeek!" The shock that she had forgotten something and was supposedly doing something wrong, lead her to panic frivolously and stop immediately. Managing to miss the wave, she leaned forward on her board so she was laying down on it lifelessly except for her forehead tapping against it to emphasise her defeat. Of course, she wasn't the type to give up and she still wasn't but she could hear her instructor swimming over to assist and that meant more time taken up all because she had forgotten the most basic thing. Wah..! Her thoughts cried childishly as she tapped her head against the board once more before sitting up and looking out towards the sun, her hand above her eyes to serve as a visor. The excursion had gone by so fast but in a way, she was looking forward to getting back to school.

She turned her body around slightly to look back at where Sera was on the beach, tilting her head. Her friend looked kind of reflective and Momo wondered if it was concerning Silas.. she hadn't seen the senior all morning. Not that i'm complaining, thank goodness! she thought, turning back the right way around to analyse her swimming outfit. She wouldn't want to be caught in a two piece in front of that pervert. Without meaning to, that thought lead to a mischievous smile across her lips and a fist pump. All that aside, she was getting revenge on him for the water dump after having won the chicken fight with Kei as her partner. Soon enough, Silas would be strutting the school hallways in a wig and sporting a school girl's uniform. Priceless. Well soon if Kei said so, she had left the matter of when to him but in due time it would happen and it was something to look forward to unless the prince of popularity by some means, backed out. Reviewing the chicken fight outcome lead her to think of Akira, the girl who had strangely come over during the game only to back out and revisit them again. It striked Momo as kind of odd though, but if she recalled correctly the senior (Akira) had claimed chicken fights weren't something she was interested in. Thinking about Akira in turn, lead her to think about the party last night as a lot had happened for that senior and the spotlight attention revolving around the fact she had killed someone and admitted to it. Just what had Akira done? It left Momo kind of curious because it wasn't every day you knew someone who had been in such a situation, then again the girl (Akira) did claim self defence. Momo pouted to herself thinking it over while waiting for Bishop. Momo had been in situations to defend herself too but never something as bad or drastic to have to resort to killing. Was Akira kidnapped? or was she threatened? And if so how? With a gun? The questions could only keep going until Momo decided to give up. Akira and her weren't close enough, though she wondered if Kei had an idea with them being fellow seniors or if he was still as clueless as herself.

Momo started stretching her arms, figuring she'd use them to paddle anyway so used the extra movement to keep the blood flowing and the adrenaline in some sense, still pumped up with excitement that she was going to get right down to it for the first time, surfing. If only her thoughts stopped there. The party made her think of Kaoru, the blue haired fellow junior who had for some unknown reason wanted to get closer to her to the point he didn't hesitate to ask if he could sit with her in front of everyone. It was mind boggling to Momo why he was curious to get to know her and was being so direct about it. She poked the left cheek of her face as she continued thinking over the events of last night but still couldn't conclude anything she had done in front of the junior to make him so curious about her. She had basically just been there at the party, being the odd one out by not drinking. "I'm hungry.." she mumbled to herself, realising she hadn't eaten breakfast being so lost in the excitement of the rest of the day but then neither had Sera. Hungry... we both gonna be hungry on the bus she pouted, staring down at her board before Bishop showed as her pout changed to the same grin of an enthusiastic student.

Bishop Trander

"Eeek!" Bishop laughed softly and swiftly swam over to Momo and pulled on the cord strap and began to tie it around her ankle. "There!! You're good to go." He would swim backwards slowly giving the girl (Momo) her space, and turned to look at Sera as well. He was curious to why she would just sit there on the beach idly and watch them. Wash she scared of the current, or the swells? No, he shook his head getting those thoughts out of his head. That was nonsense he was sure. "You just do the best, you can. I'll be in the waves with you so don't be scared." Letting Momo go and surf, he trusted her with his board, which was rather foolish really. It was the wrong board for a beginner, especially if it was their first time. Beginners always got a larger board, since it game them more room to move and manipulate the board with as well as increased buoyancy.

So Bishop just settled for body surfing keeping his eye on Momo however. He knew that they were running short on time, and after a while he just treaded water shouting advice to the girl as she went. He smiled seeing her try again and again until she got it right and was actually surfing. He finally came back onto sure, still watching his pink haired friend have the time of her life out on the waves. He would wait patiently for her to return, not in the least worried that she would break his board.

Bishop Trander

Bishop watched Momo excitedly as he body surfed. He watched her first couple attempts at surfing fail, but he wasn't that good either when he first started. But by the fourth time he smiled and cheered her on as he body surfed. Bishop eventually just settled to going back on shore next to Sera and crossed his arms with a smile. "She's a natural!!" He glanced to his new dark skinned friend (Sera) with a gentle laugh. However, his eye brows scrunched when Mr. Drone surfed into the picture almost knocking Momo off of her board. He sweat dropped watching them both surf, and slowly approached Momo when she got back to sure. He was about to speak when their P.E. teacher swooped in once again and snagged his board away. He stood there flabbergasted. “It’s time to go to school kids, hop to it!” Bishop raised a hand to object but he was ignored. “Come on! The lovely Ms. Roselle is waiting!!” <I can't believe that just happened....> “Sorry—I’ll get your board back!” Bishop looked to Momo and shut his eyes gently waving his hand side to side. He still smiled kindly to the girl. "Oh... No, don't worry about it. At least our teacher has it, and not some random stranger." Despite his words however, the pink haired junior (Momo) still chased after the house of a mane late. With a sigh Bishop, scratched the back of his head and turned to Sera.

"Catch ya on the bus I guess? We shouldn't be late." He nodded after the girl (Sera) acknowledged him, and he dashed off to his cabin. He swiftly stripped down, and took a rinse off and got out in a hurry to dry off and get dressed. He looked out the window to see a few people walking back to the bus, but it appeared that most everybody was already gone which prompted him to hurry and finish packing. Finally ready he swung the door open and took one last look around the cabin to make sure he didn't forget anything then went on his way to the bus. As he went, he waved and said hello to people he saw at the party last night. Most were on the swim team, and had talked to a little bit already. When he got to the bus, he found Momo trapped underneath his board as Mr. Drone was crying like a blubbering baby on the ground. He approached the smaller girl (Momo) and lifted the board up offering her a hand. "You ok down there? And thank you for getting my board back!!" He truly meant that statement, since it cost his parents a bit of money to get it. "You aren't going the entire trip in a swim suit are you?" He looked around to see if there was a clock anywhere for him to look at. Momo didn't seem ready to leave yet, and it appeared that students were about to board the bus. "I'll take care of this and you can go ahead and change. You don't seem like the type to walk around wearing a bikini." He smiled that kind smile of his again and headed to the bus to place his board in the bottom storage location. <I guess I can wait for somebody.... Nah, I'm actually tired. I'm gonna go sit down. Maybe save a seat for somebody.> With that, the blonde stepped onto the bus and got a window seat again just about in the middle. He sighed and plugged one earphone in using his backpack as a pillow. He looked out the window seeing who was boarding.

Sera

Sera found herself in one of those very rare kind of moments, the moment where everything seems to feel almost surreal and relaxing. It was nice and she didn't feel like moving from her spot in fear of that sensation disappearing, instead sitting on the beach and just watching Momo and Bishop from afar. Normally she wouldn't be so content to just sit but this was an exception she would be taking advantage of. Watching Momo was entertaining enough anyways, the energy the small girl had always impressing her and bringing a small smile. Of course as much as she was enjoying it happen a good thing couldn't last and as she was sitting there a couple of guys came to interrupt her, staring almost to the point of leering. She turned with a glare that could freeze a man in his tracks, she didn't mind people looking at her but they had interrupted her moment of extreme comfort. They didn't stick around long, the men seeming to lose her nerve when she didn't react like they expected. The damage had been done though and she frustratedly sighed. "Oh well..." She muttered before stretching her legs out in front of her and leaning back on her hands, still looking out at the water as Momo really began to get the hang of it. It wasn't long after that before Bishop made his way to shore and joined her, sitting next to her on the warm sand and commenting on Momo's natural ability. She nodded with a small laugh, "Yea, she may not look like it at first glance but I have noticed some natural athletic ability. She and Kei are a good Junior Senior pairing." It was interesting that Momo, who didn't appear to be but was quite skilled at physical activity, and Kei who was obviously an athletic guy had been paired up. She was going to say something else, strike up a conversation with Bishop, but the unexpectedness of Mr. Drone caused her to sit up and watch in confusion. It was the kind of thing that didn't make sense even after it happened and she could only watch as Momo ran off after the surfboard thief. "Yeah see you on the bus..." She said to Bishop, rising from the sand as she did.

Mr. Drone's odd act was as good an omen as any to signal the end of the beach excursion and Sera took it to heart, turning and heading back towards the cabin. She figured Momo was probably still trying to get the board back, laughing a bit as she thought about the girl near other people in the two piece, Momo making her apprehension to reveal her midriff to others. It was a shame she wouldn't be able to see it but the thought alone was entertaining. Sera found herself at the cabin before long and went to her and Momo's room, walking inside and went to the bathroom, going into the bathroom and stepping into the shower quickly, washing off the sand before stepping out and going back to the center of the room. She looked around for a second, there wasn't much to pack up, she just had to change and make sure she didn't leave anything behind. Sera would get Momo's stuff together as well since she was sure the girl would be in a rush when she finally made it to the room. So she got to work, going over to her bag and grabbing a new outfit, some undergarments to replace the bikini and some jeans and a t-shirt. It wasn't anything special, just a plain black t-shirt, and then she slipped on her shoes, finding it strangely uncomfortable to put on shoes again after their absence but doing so anyways. After she was dressed it took nearly no time to get her things packed up and then she moved over to do Momo's. She knew it was a tad invasive but she went into Momo's bag and picked out an outfit before putting it on the bed with a smile, she had always enjoyed picking out clothes for her sister and it felt nice to do it, to the point that she didn't realize she had done it until they were laying out. She took a deep breath and shook her head, hoping Momo didn't mind before she finished picking up Momo's things and putting them either in the bag or, with the things she would carry on her person, putting it next to the clothing. With all that done she went over and plopped down on her bed, leaning back against the pillows and just waited, not in a rush to get to the bus even if it was time to leave and wanting to wait for Momo, mainly so she could go with her to the bus and share a seat, already being a bit attached to her new friend.

Momo

Momo didn't realise how heavy the surfboard was all along until she found herself crushed underneath its weight with no competitive drive. "Pooey.." she mumbled for the second time in the day as her elbows were propped in an attempt to get up. To her surprise, the board suddenly felt a lot lighter. "You ok down there? And thank you for getting my board back!!" Momo turned her head, smiling at the familiar face and accepting Bishop's extended hand. It was again, another small gesture but she was genuinely very happy. There was a time when even small things like this seemed near impossible, but now Momo had friends and new experiences to make with them, people whom she belonged with and accepted her as she was with glasses or without. Momo patted the top of her pink head with nervous laughter after having been found in such an awkward clumsy-looking mess. "Thanks too for helping me up!" she responded cheerfully. "You aren't going the entire trip in a swim suit are you?" Momo's cheerful expression collapsed as her eyes widened after almost having forgotten. Etto..that's right! "No.. of course not.." Momo muttered sheepishly as her knees knocked together uneasily at the reminder. "I'll take care of this and you can go ahead and change. You don't seem like the type to walk around wearing a bikini." "Ehehe...thanks!" she replied, laughing nervously again as her cheeks turned a pale shade of pink before dashing away from the crowd of students towards the cabins.

As she was running, she started to wonder where her friend Sera was since the girl wasn't with Bishop. Momo had a swooping glance towards the shore as she ran past it but Sera was nowhere to be found. I hope I'm quick enough, I don't want to be left behind! she started to panic just as she reached the cabin and slammed the door behind her in a rush. At first, she didn't know what she was supposed to be doing. She had to do so many things; take a shower, get changed, pack her bags, carry her bags to the bus, find Sera-- Oh there's Sera! To Momo's relief, she entered the bedroom and saw her friend changed and ready to go, laying on her bed relaxedly. "You're...so....cool." Momo said, looking around the bedroom with pauses in between at each change to the room she noticed. For one thing, everything was packed including her own belongings and her clothes were all set out and ready for after taking her shower. It was so organised and she hated to say it, but she didn't expect that from Sera who always seemed to be such a laid back person. "Thankyou Sera!!" Momo suddenly exclaimed, arms wide open about to tackle hug her friend with joy, her energy not completely lost after the excitement of surfing. She ended up stopping midway though, "Oh wait.. we're going to be late, oh no!" Momo realised, snapping back into reality and grabbing a towel and the change of clothes to take her shower.

Her shower was literally a quick rinse and dry as she wrapped the towel around her head to stop her hair from dripping onto the tiles and hopped into the clean set of clothes Sera had prepared for her without a second thought. Momo knew Sera had good fashion sense, the girl strikingly resembling a foreign model in her own way that there was no reason to doubt as she walked out of the bathroom, towel still wrapped around her head as she searched for her brush. "Thanks for waiting for me, sorry for waiting for me--!" Momo's words easily got muddled up as she removed the towel, hurriedly brushed her hair and started to drag her bag out the door as it came time for her and Sera to leave. Momo hated being not organised, and most of all late but hopefully the bus hadn't left without them yet. She was sure that some classmates like Bishop or maybe even her senior Kei or Sera's senior Silas would notice if her and Sera didn't make it in time, that brought a bit of comfort in the hurry. When they reached the bus, Momo let out an exaggerated huff of relief as she dropped her bags in the compartment. "We made it, I'm glad.." Momo continued talking to Sera only more casually and relaxed since there was nothing left to worry about any more. The line up onto the bus was still ongoing, it was almost hard to believe the beach trip was coming to an end. It left mixed feelings for Momo, she had a lot of fun with her new friends but she also missed her mother at home dearly.

Sera

"You're...so....cool." Sera smiled gently when Momo came in and it seemed the girl had been in a rush as Sera had expected. "Why thank you, I do my best." Luckily she had taken care of getting their things together, though part of her wondered if it an even more panicked Momo would have been cuter. She wouldn't have purposefully left her side a mess but it was a thought that crossed her mind. "Oh wait.. we're going to be late, oh no!" She got a glance of it as the girl began focusing on their tardiness so it was enough, though she made sure to reassure her, "Don't worry we won't be late, besides they can wait even if we are." Sera did however give a small sulk as their hug was ended before it began, already having braced herself for the energetic response, but it quickly changed back to a smile. Momo headed to the shower and so Sera got back to her feet, grabbing her own and sitting it near the entrance, waiting for her friend to finish up. She wasn't worried about being late, she never really care about it, in fact the only reason she got places on time was because she didn't want to miss anything. In this instance it was more or less because she was with her friend, nothing could be boring or bad when around little Momo. "Thanks for waiting for me, sorry for waiting for me--!" Sera just laughed as Momo hurried to complete everything, her words a jumble and cute as could be. "Don't worry about it, I wanted to wait." She walked to the bathroom door frame and leaned against it, watching Momo do the small chores she felt necessary before leaving, despite the fact that they would be heading back to their own homes quite soon. Not that she could say anything, she didn't do too much but she had made sure she looked good.

She followed the girl as she finished up and headed out though, moving behind her casually, not feeling the rush her friend did, though she kept up anyways. She put her bags away the same as Momo and nodded, it seemed like they were perfectly on time, if not earlier than some. "We made it, I'm glad.." They were in a line of sorts waiting to get on the bus but Sera wasn't really the line type and as she saw Kei pass by, people giving him room to get on, whether due to seemingly untrue reputation or simply the size and respect he seemed to naturally demand she wasn't sure. It did give her an idea though and she turned to Momo with a grin. "Come with me, let's make sure we get some good seats." She grabbed the girls hand and pulled her along, not too forcefully but she made sure she came with, going around towards the front of the line and winking at one of the boys at the front to cut in front and go ahead on. She let go of Momo once they were on the bus and turned with a small laugh, "Now we have free reign of where to sit, let's go get some good seats." She said before doing a small graceful spin back around and began walking down the center of the bus, trying to decide where to sit. Usually she wouldn't much care and just sat anywhere, but seeing that Kei and Bishop were quite close to each other in the middle she made a decision and went that way, claiming a set of seats between the two guys, people she knew and wanted to get to know more. "Howdy." She said with a smile, flicking the back of Kei's head since he was wearing headphones and then nodding to Bishop. She was still standing in the middle though, giving Momo choice of seat, not having an affection for window or aisle seating.

Tch, that brat. Devone settled on blaming Kaoru for her delay on boarding the bus when she was previously already at the very front of the line before he interrupted her peace. Nonetheless, he was quite a defensive little runt when I mentioned secrets.. that only confirms he’s got a skeleton in his closet that he’s afraid I’ll find. Pity, I don’t have the time right now. She concluded though being so easy-going left a sour taste in her mouth. And so does a few other things.. Devone closed her eyes a moment in an attempt to erase last night’s scenario out of her head as she stepped onto the bus but it became more troublesome to forget as other students could be heard in the background engaged in gossip over the details. Devone catching a few words shot such students a cold over the shoulder glare that immediately halted them in their tracks, both conversation and literally knowing Devone would resort to almost anything; her wrath holding no limits to what she could accomplish once her mind was made up. She'd frankly, make anyone's life hell if they got on her bad side or served a purpose which would benefit her personally; Akira serving as sufficient proof though probably not the worst of actions she had committed. It was as if there no line between what was right and what was wrong, or fair and unfair; Devone would have her way and hardly ever feel a sense of remorse. For the most part, she was indifferent with very few things let alone people tugging at her heartstrings. Why bother to care for things when they can be replaced? Why waste your time and effort caring for people when relationships can be faked? Such pettiness of which the world endures yet adores.

Her black hair flowed behind her back as she turned on the spot in a perfect demonstration of femininity and grace before continuing to walk down the aisle for a suitable seat. At this rate unfortunately enough for her, it appeared she would have to make do and sit with someone as there were no fully vacant spots for her taking unless she resorted to some form of manipulation. The day’s morning events still lingered unconsciously, leaving her feeling as if she was lacking her usual energy and spice so manipulation wasn't on the agenda any time soon until her eyes scanned a little more and briefly settled on a face that got her thoughts processing like clockwork gears. Well, well, well.. Her deep blue eyes pierced in the direction of a fellow senior (Aeon) and in the few seconds she spared, Devone found herself intrigued. There was no doubt that he stood out amongst peers especially to her with his stoic poise and attire to match. I wonder.. Her eyes narrowed as if bored as she walked past him (Aeon) and the red-head (Jonathan) casually as they were conversing though her thoughts were still drawn to a fascination of what prospects this little sight-seeing could entail. In all her years at Airdalen, she had the idea fixated that she was the only one in the whole school who had any taste in the finer things in life but that one violet-haired boy (Aeon) also possessed the majestic air of one in a position of wealth and power. She began backtracking through her mind to determine if she had seen that face before and could recognise something. Surely such a name or face had come up in a business meeting or a fancy occasion of sorts if he was at her level or even higher. Unable to recall such a time, she could only smirk deciding that current happenings were about to get a bit more exciting with someone around of her calibre.

Devone’s hand brushed along the top of people’s seats until she reached one spot she absolutely dreaded but sat down in anyway as it beat standing around, grasping onto a pole to avoid stumbling over. She had seated herself by the aisle, reluctantly beside her former pen pal (Bishop) by the window of whom she had only recently discovered with much disappointment. The boy (Bishop) was foreign, good looking in a sort of rough around the edges sort of way but he really wasn't the type of individual she had imagined him up to be in their letters. And yet here I am in Japan because of you, curses. Devone folded her arms defiantly with no intention of striking up a conversation as she began to close her eyes and lean her body towards the opposite way, not resisting the temptation to fall asleep just so the bus trip would be over and done with. Devone’s lack of energy having to think about what happened to her mother also contributing to the desire to fall asleep and rest. As much as the girl didn't want to worry and contemplate.. time and time again she was making the same mistake- or so she would consider it a grave mistake to feel. I’m affected.. I need to block out these unnecessary emotions if I am to carry on as I am.. And for a passing moment, her eyes opened filled with a deep grieving sorrow hidden behind the blue hue before closing again.

Momo

Momo managed to quickly wave back in Kei’s direction as he passed by them to get on the bus and it was then that she noticed how many students there were. The bus was crowded and some were even shoving to get through the door first that made her release a suppressed sigh. Maybe we should have gotten here earlier.. but it was worth catching that first wave! She fist pumped in front of her chest enthusiastically though she kept her thoughts to herself. The beach excursion was drawing a close but it had been fun and enjoyable. She was at the very least an inch closer to getting to know her friends and if not, more than that which made everything all the more worthwhile as an experience as a whole. "Come with me, let's make sure we get some good seats." Sera was enthusiastic as well, grinning almost with a mischievous spark as she grabbed Momo’s hand and directed her through the crowd.

Momo stayed quiet, somewhat pondering Sera’s random uplifting spirits as they continued to move through and past the body of students. Uh but Se— Momo thought rather than said as they reached the very front of the line, only to watch as Sera lightly flirted with one of the boys with a passing wink as he moved aside allowing the two girls to go ahead. Following after Sera, she stepped in and poked her bottom lip in thought as her hand was released as Sera let out a small laugh. Momo wasn’t sure if she was overthinking things, but she hadn’t recalled a time she had seen Sera so energetic and happy. To her, it was a big deal as she always saw Sera was laidback, cool, calm and collected and that she still was, but there was still a shift towards something with much more vigour and energy. "Now we have free reign of where to sit, let's go get some good seats." Sera said with a hint of girly as she spun around to walk down the aisle. Happy for her friend, Momo smiled and removed her finger from her lips to entwine her fingers behind her back in a swinging back and forth motion as she walked on behind.

Sera paused, picking out vacant seats which were conveniently positioned between where Bishop was sitting at and Kei. "Howdy." Sera greeted, flicking the back of Kei’s head as Momo decided to toss a small smile and wave in Bishop’s aka her Surf Instructor’s direction. As she glanced at the vacant seat next to Bishop though, she wandered off in her own trail of thought without meaning to. Miami, a girl of whom Bishop seemed to be growing fond of and maybe to an extent herself considering the girl stood up for her.. was still missing. She had just vanished from the excursion like she was never there. It made Momo feel sad as first it was Maya and then now, Miami. She had been standing there frowning for so long, she didn’t realise Sera was waiting for her to be seated and in turn, she was holding the line up inconveniently for everyone. “Gomen, gomen ne!” She quickly apologised after snapping out of her thoughts and seated herself by the window before drifting into thought again, her elbow leaning against the narrow windowsill. And I promised Kei in that text I would do my best to clear things out between him and Akira.. She was troubled and unable to cover up her emotions as her lips started to form a natural sulking pout. "Hey." Kei's voice came from in front of them as she turned her head and replied politely back, "Hello" with a brief closed eyes smile before he turned back right around. I'll try my best, ganbatte.

Sera

Sera was in one of those moods and while the cause wasn't clear, as it could have been anything from them soon returning home to one of Momo's cute little bubbly outbursts, it had her a little more excited than usual. In fact it could have just been some of Momo's run off, the amount of energy the girl had would no doubt be impossible to keep contained in her small frame. She slid in her seat, after Momo took the one by the window, and got comfortable. She hadn't really cared about people going around her, it wasn't that difficult to slip around two women unless her or Momo one was fat and they didn't realize it. People had seemed to be waiting though and while she would have been more than happy to continue standing for some time, conversing with those harder to see from a seated position, she didn't want to be too much of a bother to those without enough brainpower to simply go around an obstacle. Besides, while she would enjoy some across the bus conversation there wasn't much to talk about, at least nothing she cared to say, and with Silas and Akira close she didn't want to cause any drama, more of that was certainly unneeded even if it was inevitable. She wasn't about to be bored out of her mind the entire way, sure she could listen to music but that wouldn't be fun and definitely not for the duration. She thought for a moment that Kei greeting them back would start something up but Momo was simply polite and gave a simple greeting back without even trying to say anything more, boring. One redeeming factor was the new girl (Keiko) who had sat down next to Kei, and Bishop behind them, though as Devone took her seat next to him that avenue seemed risky. Sure speaking to Bishop would be fun but even looking at Devone seemed like it could bring some consequences with it.

After a moment of deliberation Sera decided to risk the conflict and turn herself around, still feeling a bit more energetic than usual, even if she was calmed down a bit now that they were on the bus. It seemed like a good idea seeing as Kei had started to speak with his random seat mate (Keiko). So she turned in her seat, her legs into the cushion as she hugged the back, keeping herself steady as she looked over at Bishop and Devone. It was in that first moment she though she noticed something in Devone's eyes she never would have expected, but in the time of a blink it was gone and she couldn't be sure if her eyes were playing tricks, due to some hangover and slight sleep deprivation, or if it had been real. Regardless she didn't want to start anything at the very beginning of their journey by being blunt about it and simply turned her head away from Devone and over to Bishop, "It was too bad you didn't get a chance to give me some tips, I am sure I could have used some." Sera gave a small smile as she took a deep breath, "I guess it's my fault for missing it the day before, just didn't have enough time." It really was a shame, if she had the chance again she would have to make sure she didn't miss it. Perhaps another field trip or just a day trip somewhere. They weren't the best of friends but she liked to think she would get along with Bishop in the coming days and going out to surf somewhere on the weekend or something could be a lot of fun, especially since Momo seemed to like it. Sera sighed and looked up a bit, muttering "Missed opportunities suck..." In English, falling back on it for a second, the language being more comfortable to her than Japanese even if she was fluent in both. She looked over to Momo and tapped her on the shoulder, "What do you think, should we try to pick a day sometime and go for a day trip to a beach or something, skip the partying, continue your lessons and get straight in the ocean?" She turned to Bishop after she asked Momo to pose him the same question, not really caring if Devone listened, figuring she probably didn't care about them or their conversation anyways, at least if her personality remained consistent.

Bishop Trander

Bishop was in his own little world, as he sat slumped against the window leaning on his bag. His eyelids did the rest of the work for him, and slowly closed as the warm sunlight lulled him into a gentle cat nap. He was peaceful there, the soft music of Coldplay coming through his earbud. He didn't notice Sera and Momo seating in front of him, or anyone else around him for that fact. In his usual fashion, he was just off doing his own thing by himself. People didn't normally bother him, unless they were just jerks. So in turn, he didn't really bother with anybody else not wanting to cause trouble. Or in this case, he wasn't entirely fluent in Japanese. His words were accented, and he got a few mixed up or in the wrong order. But he wasn't terrible or anything. <I'll get better in time....> Bishop sighed, and snuggled closer to his bag feeling the weight shift next to him. Did someone sit next to him? Probably somebody he didn't know, but to avoid being rude he slowly rose up and opened his eyes. He had a general look of surprise on his face when he saw that it was Devone taking a seat next to him.

<Well.... This is unexpected.> He rubbed his right eye in a sleepy manner, looking to the girl politely. "Uh... Hey Devone. Do you need more room to sit? I could scoot over some if you'd like." For once, he had no accent when he spoke. But that was a detail that he wasn't experienced enough to actually hear yet. He turned down his iPod so that he could hear what the black haired girl (Devone) would say, if she were to trade pleasantries. Sitting there, he admired how lovely she looked. Devone was a very attractive woman, already seeming to have developed at her age. But it wasn't that much of a surprise seeing as she was a senior. His gentle blue eyes weren't consumed with lust however, like the average 16 year old male's would be. She was just lovely, could probably make a man do anything for a simple kiss on the cheek. He would look her in the eyes, waving a lock of shimmering blonde hair from his eyes. His demeanor was relaxed, a little odd seeing as when he found a girl attractive he was a nervous tense wreck. But it was probably the sleep deprivation that caused this sort of reaction towards him.

"It was too bad you didn't get a chance to give me some tips, I am sure I could have used some." "Hmm? Oh! Hello Sera. I'm sorry but I didn't see you sitting there, you caught me just before I fell asleep." He chuckled softly, with a genuine smile poking fun at his own foolishness no matter how insignificant it was. "Yeah, but it's alright. Everyone was having so much fun during the trip. It's understandable that time got away from us." He looked back to Devone once again, he unbashfully made eye contact with the girl and didn't even attempt to lower his eyes. "Did you have fun Devone?" He wanted to involve the girl in on their conversation. "It was too bad you didn't get a chance to give me some tips, I am sure I could have used some. I guess it's my fault for missing it the day before, just didn't have enough time."" "Not even, you shouldn't worry about that. No harm was done, honest." Bishop nodded reassuringly to Sera, that optimistic smile across his lips when deep down he knew it somewhat was. He was a bit hurt when he got stood up, but no evidence of such feelings was let out for anyone else to see. He was too worried about other people to think about himself lots of times. It took it's tolls quite a lot, but he had no qualms with bearing the burden that his choices made.

Taking a good look around, it seemed that everyone was getting seated and starting to talk with one another. He was happy to have Sera near him, even Devone. She was a lovely sight, and he hoped to actually start getting back in touch with the girl again. He cast her (Devone) a glance before, scanning the bus spotting Momo seating next to Sera. "What do you think, should we try to pick a day sometime and go for a day trip to a beach or something, skip the partying, continue your lessons and get straight in the ocean?" He looked for the pink haired girl's (Momo) reaction, and brightened up even though he still sleepy after Sera looked at him for his opinion too. "Well.... I'm sure that we can get the beach again. We do live in Japan after all!" Bishop always enjoyed surfing, and doing it with friends was even better. "Have you ever surfed Devone?" He looked back to his old pen pal (Devone) with a genuine curiosity. He was already quite trusting of the girl, since they had history from when they were younger. How would that effect their relationship now?

Sera

"Hmm? Oh! Hello Sera. I'm sorry but I didn't see you sitting there, you caught me just before I fell asleep." Bishop was near sleep when she spoke which made her feel slightly bad but it was done and he was speaking back so she didn't find any harm in continuing their conversation, especially since he seemed to be talking to Devone anyways. "Yeah, but it's alright. Everyone was having so much fun during the trip. It's understandable that time got away from us." In fact he seemed set on speaking with Devone and it struck Sera as slightly odd as she didn't seem the type to talk back, and even if she did it wouldn't be anything pleasant she was sure. "Did you have fun Devone?" It didn't stop Bishop though so she just ignored it, continuing to talk and letting him do what he wanted with Devone. "Not even, you shouldn't worry about that. No harm was done, honest." "Whatever you say, regardless I wish it hadn't been missed, I know it would have been fun. Will just have to make some effort to get to it the next time we get a chance, make sure not to miss a thing." "Well.... I'm sure that we can get the beach again. We do live in Japan after all!" Sera nodded, it was true enough, going surfing in Japan would be nearly as easy as doing so in England, though she had a feeling it would never be as good. They could get lucky or find a good spot though. She laughed gently to herself as she spun back around, she found herself really wanting a bit of time on the waves after watching Momo out there, do something she hadn't done in awhile, even if she wasn't as good as she use to be, or even nearly as good as Bishop. She was definitely going to make plans. "Have you ever surfed Devone?" Bishop seemed more interested in Devone at the moment though, well perhaps not more but interested and that was enough to Sera to step back, not wanting to pester the girl and start more drama. She just hoped Bishop didn't try too hard to get someone who didn't seem to care into the conversation.

For a moment Sera just enjoyed the rather comfortable bus seating, the legroom not being the best but the seating itself was nice and soft. So she sat there for a moment, her body relaxing as she realized just how tired she was after the lack of sleep from the night before and the partial symptoms of a hangover she was still cursed with. She didn't like sleeping in front of other people though. Momo wouldn't be so bad but she generally didn't like to sleep in crowded locations, not for any reason in particular, just because. So she fought the urge to shut her eyes and drift off, looking forward to see what Kei was doing. She hadn't heard a thing before but he was talking to the new girl beside him or so it seemed, and while they seemed to be having somewhat of an interesting conversation, in an odd way, she didn't join in, instead just sitting there, suddenly being assaulted by the urge to sleep. It was one of those things that only bothered you once you noticed it, like a flickering light or a hangnail, harmless up to the moment of realization. She turned to Momo after a second, looking at the girl with a small smile, pushing away thoughts of tiredness from the front of her mind. "So, did you have fun?" She didn't ask about anything in specific, not really wanting to bring up the kissing with Momo, as she knew it would embarrass the girl and Sera didn't want to do that. She hoped Momo had fun though, she had tried to make it enjoyable for her new friend, especially the party since it seemed out of the pink haired cuties wheelhouse. At the same time Sera wondered when everyone would make it to the bus and they would head back, as it seemed they were running over the appointed time now, though she didn't bother to check and just assumed.

Devone

Gosh, this is incredibly uncomfortable compared to the usual drives.. Devone mused to herself as slender fingers brushed through strands of her hair somewhat showily though it was a natural action as was most other feminine touches in her behaviour. Being raised luxuriously and spoiled with a superiority complex to match had that effect on her. "Uh... Hey Devone. Do you need more room to sit? I could scoot over some if you'd like. There goes my cat nap.. purr. Devone thought sarcastically as her seatmate (Bishop) started talking. She was hoping he’d keep his mouth shut the entire journey but that had been apparently too much to hope for. Devone looked Bishop’s way briefly before deciding to turn away and resume focusing on the seat in front of her instead as if it was much better to look at. “That’d hardly make a difference..” she muttered starting to fold her arms and lean back, her legs crossing and the soles of her shoes positioned carelessly on the back of the seat in front of her- not like whoever was sitting in front of her would mind, would they? Her eyes stared curiously at a side glance at the junior (Bishop) who didn’t look like he was going to give up talking anytime soon as he stayed unwavering looking back at her. Pigeons these days.. always expecting me to toss them a few bread crumbs. Chirp away little boy.. chirp away. She resisted the urge to wave him away in a ‘shoo’ movement to emphasise her little mind joke figuring even if she wasted such energy to further emphasise what she was thinking with action, pigeons here were too dumb to get the message. The students at Airdalen were for the most part far too optimistic it was suffocating to Devone that she asked herself if they had not witnessed the real world where people would look down at their naivety. Need I remind you of your place compared to where I stand? She sighed inwardly, realising she was getting easily irritated compared to usual which was probably a consequence of prior events. Devone was definitely in a foul mood and was also probably the last of all people to bite her tongue should some sharp and nasty words desire to surface.

"It was too bad you didn't get a chance to give me some tips, I am sure I could have used some." "Hmm? Oh! Hello Sera. I'm sorry but I didn't see you sitting there, you caught me just before I fell asleep." Devone wasn’t quite sure how to react when another junior (Sera) she recognised entered the scene of discussion, not that she was interested so she looked the other way to snub them and perhaps gain interest somewhere else but unfortunately she wasn’t let off the hook that easily. "Did you have fun Devone?" “What?” she said in a blunt, dull tone followed by a serious expression and raised eyebrow as she glanced back at the blonde boy (Bishop) unamused. Sera continued talking after that which kept Bishop busy and at bay from responding to that so Devone went back to observing her peers in the other seats. Her deep blue eyes shifted slightly still unamused about the whole situation. It wasn’t like the journey to where they were as no drama seemed to be stirring up that she could get whiff of. It was just so boring how nothing was going wrong.

"Have you ever surfed Devone?" “You can’t be serious..” Devone mumbled as her gaze drifted back to her old penpal from the corners of her eyes. I was wrong.. not a pigeon, like a kindergarten who asks too many random questions- and that’s a lot worse. Fully turning around to face him and finding the need to address her place, she brushed Bishop’s cheek with her fingers gently as if comforting a crying child. “Look sweetie..” she said in hushed tone that was almost sweet as she lifted his chin for him to look at her more direct. “Just don’t talk to me, remember I’m not one of your tea party friends and we’ll get along fine for the remainder of this trip. Okay?” She concluded bluntly, her tone going cold and sharp on a few specific words making it obvious her mood was not a good one before she removed her hand roughly and carelessly, whatever gentleness that was present immediately vanishing. The transition from warm to cold in her attitude was intentionally executed in a wave of sudden changes that could confuse people but that was just how she liked to give her warnings even in serious business transactions should the need arise for it. It made her different, unique and stand out in a way but at the same time it was natural instinct. Like applying a bandaid then ripping it off.. she started to ponder, stretching out one arm behind her head before leaning against it. Well, maybe. Maybe not.. Devone wasn't the least bit worried about Bishop's response to the way she handled him either as she deducted him to be sounding like a very obedient and hesitant chap anyway. What could he possibly do to her that would be worthy of concern? Absolutely nothing.

Bishop Trander

“That’d hardly make a difference..” Bishop blinked, and frowned being met with hostility from his former pen pal Devone once again. This was starting to become a trend, and it troubled Bishop. He glanced at her out of the Corner of his eye as Sera responded to him as well. He wondered what had gone wrong between the two, despite their unexpected break of communication... And she didn't catch him in the most pleasant of moods on the first day of school. Was she holding that against him? He was still thinking, that her thoughts on him were relevant. But he truly had no idea what her true motives and thoughts were, thinking that everyone thought of everyone else as being on the same playing level. Hopefully it wouldn't be too harsh of a lesson for him. His second attempt to talking to Devone was shot down faster than it could even take off. "What?" The expression on her face stopped the junior dead in his tracks, with a sweat drop. "Uhh...." He just looked back at Sera who unknowingly saved him from an awkward situation. But his mind couldn't help but dwell back on the black haired senior (Devone). What was her issue!? It was like she hated the world, or wanted to watch it burn or something.... He'd never met someone so........ Dark before. Or at least, that was the vibe he was getting from the girl right now. He knew not very much about Devone like where she came from, or her family life. Except for the fact that she had a mother and father and was an only child. Well, that's the most he knew anyways. He was more eager it seemed to exchange information than she might have been.

Listening back to Sera still somehow catching everything she said, he turned again to Devone and blurted his words without thinking of her current mood. His friendly nature just came out, but her response confused him at first. He blinked and blushed a tiny bit as she caressed his cheek. “Look sweetie..” <Sweetie? What is she talking about?> “Just don’t talk to me, remember I’m not one of your tea party friends and we’ll get along fine for the remainder of this trip. Okay?” He sat there for a minute and let that all sink in. He wasn't dumb, and could take a hint. <Alright.... You're obviously pissed.> A wave of emotions washed over the blonde young lad. First a spout of anger, there was no need for her to belittle him and insult his intelligence like that. He wasn't some kid you had to simplify things for. And secondly he was hurt.... Bishop was really trying to talk, and maybe rekindle the friendship they use to have. But for now, it seemed like she didn't want any part of it. He sighed, and crossed him arms looking over to see Sera and Momo talking amongst each other, deciding he didn't want to interrupt them. He glanced back to Devone that awkward feeling settling in of just getting verbally dissed then having to sit next to that same person for a period of time. <I don't know what her issue is.... I'll just assume she's tired and cranky. Hell, I haven't even eaten today. Maybe going to sleep will make this go by faster. With a soft sigh, he rested his head back against his bag and shut his eyes plugging his other earbud in and turning up his mp3 player.

“Alright you lot!” "Aw crap...." Bishop spoke out in English hearing Ms. Roselle's voice and turned off his ipod and sat up to see what was happening. He was amazed at the fact that she made herself loud enough for him to hear with headphones on, but had a tired frown on his face watching the woman. “Drinking I hear… Late night partying is it? Was it fun?” Bishop slowly sank down in his seat, getting worried that she was about to rip everyone a new one. Back at the American schools, the teachers would investigate and find everyone that was responsible and punish them severally. But if they couldn't find any one person they would punish the school. He hoped it wasn't anything too drastic. “I should give you all a well-deserved 5 HOURS DETENTION or a PERMANENT SUSPENSION from Airdalen but because of my— Hospitality.. instead I’ll—“ Bishop gulped and looked around to see other people's reactions, as he peeked up to see what she would do. Was Ms. Roselle going to get physical? How was that even possible!? Was that even legal!? “change seating arrangement?” Bishop looked wide eyed to Mr. Drone, probably in unison with other students, as they looked from him to her and back. Bishop mentally prayed that was the punishment they would receive. “What was that…?!” He watched in awe as the woman lifted the ginormous man into the air, and looked down awkwardly trying not to pay attention with a sweat drop as Mr. Drone was yelled at.

After it was all said and done, Bishop peaked up to see Ms. Roselle rolling back her sleeves. “Fine then.. bus arrangement. We’ll have to do this in alphabetical order then.. and from now on in Mr. Drone’s classes and mine.. you will also be paired up in alphabetical order AND be seated in alphabetical order. No buts no ifs and no bloody exceptions.. you’re fortunate this will not be included on your school record though we may have it reported at the very least to your parents.” "Lame..." Bishop sighed and sat back into his seat. He wasn't really too worried about his parents finding out, his dad DID supply a good portion of beer to the party after all. Bishop listened up as they began to call out names of alphabetical pairs. "Takeda and Trander." Bishop blinked not being very familiar with the name.... It was definitely Japanese so that didn't help at all. So he stood up and looked around, as people began to shuffle about finding their new partners for the trip. Sitting with a new person shouldn't be too much trouble for him. Worst case scenario, he'll just fall asleep with his headphones plugged in.

Kei

The girl sitting next to Kei had been as odd socially as he was and it was nice, but as she seemed to go off on her own little adventure he simply turned and stared out the window, leaning back and relaxing a bit. He liked meeting new people, Keiko definitely being interesting in many ways and he was sure as the year went on he would make plenty of friends and meet quite a few interesting people. His peace didn't last long though, Ms. Roselle's voice ringing out. “Alright you lot!” He had learned over the years that she was never in a good mood and she rarely spoke without it being about some sort of punishment or hellishly boring lesson plan. “Drinking I hear… Late night partying is it? Was it fun?” [i]Of course she was the one who had to find out, this isn't going to be pretty.[i] “I should give you all a well-deserved 5 HOURS DETENTION or a PERMANENT SUSPENSION from Airdalen but because of my—“ The punishment she mentioned at first gave Kei pause, he knew what that would mean, a permanent suspension was an expulsion and he couldn't have that. Luckily for Kei and all those involved with the party Mr. Drone stepped in to save the day, even if he had thrown himself right in front of Ms. Roselle's rage. He took a long deep breath and waited for the final verdict, whether his intervention would be enough to save them all or if they were all still in her cross-hairs anyways. “Fine then.. bus arrangement.” Kei let out a miniature sigh, that sounded better than any of the alternatives and he could live with moving seats, no matter who he was assigned to sit next to. Besides, it was only a drive and it wasn't like he knew Keiko well yet anyways, or really at all.

“We’ll have to do this in alphabetical order then.. and from now on in Mr. Drone’s classes and mine.. you will also be paired up in alphabetical order AND be seated in alphabetical order. No buts no ifs and no bloody exceptions.. you’re fortunate this will not be included on your school record though we may have it reported at the very least to your parents.” She made it sound like sitting in alphabetical order was a horrible punishment, to him it was nothing and as long as they didn't drive in circles for some obscene amount of time he would be fine. He could simply sleep anyways, as he figured most of them would do, especially after the nights festivities. To top it off the part about his mother being called didn't matter to him, as long as she didn't hear of something horrible she wouldn't care, and a party was nothing. So as far as that part was concerned it was nothing, at least not for him, though he figured others may have a different opinion on that particular thing. Takeda and Trander “Hiya, it’s a shame.. but I’ll see you around Kei-k” Kei's attention left the new seating arrangement as Keiko addressed him and he smiled, her oddness not changing but it was almost charming. Hearing his name pronounced like cake made him chuckle slightly, though seconds later when she went down he got up and reached down only to find her standing moments later and going to write something in a notebook. "Keiko..." He muttered, she seemed to be in some sort of trance, not paying attention to him or anyone else. He was incredibly concerned about the little incident and while he wanted to ask her if she was alright he wasn't exactly sure what happened and she didn't seem to be paying any mind. "Uh, if you need anything don't hesitate to come to my seat..." He spoke finally, moving away from the seat but looking back with a concerned expression. When he sat down in his new seat it took him a moment to move from thinking about Keiko and the odd happening and to his new seat partner, looking over at the man next to him to realize it was Bishop. "Hey Bishop." He said with a quick nod, not being rude but still being slightly occupied and finding himself zoning out a bit past the general greeting, though Bishop wouldn't be a bad person to talk to, or someone to sit next to seeing as he could probably catch some sleep if it came down to it, not fearing drama next to the Junior.

Bishop Trander

Bishop watched Devone without a word, letting out a quiet sigh of relief. He frowned watching her go though, wondering if at all he had done something. He had only heard murmurings of bad things about her, but no one directly told him any said rumors about the girl. He just knew her as Devone, the girl that had found fascinating when he was younger and wanted to know almost everything about. So he was a bit biased to forgive the girl far more than a great deal of people.

His mind was shaken off of his current thoughts when Kei approached him, and sat down. "Hey Bishop." <Oh!! He's Takeda... Ok, well this isn't bad at all!>. The young lad perked up, and sat back down looking to the senior (Kei) as he settled in. "Hey, Kei..... How's it goin?" Conversation was a little awkward since he only formerly met him (Kei) once before during the school picnic on the first day and that was short lived. Bishop adjusted his pack by his shoulder and leaned against it to get comfortable looking back to Kei. He hoped that the bus would take off soon, as of now Bishop just wanted some food put into him then to take a nice long nap. But he was a bit keen to talk to the person, Momo seemed to take a liking to him so he assumed that Kei was a good guy. Tough looking, but he had grown up around tough looking people his life so that didn't mean a whole lot unless you got on their bad side.

Bishop sat up a bit seeing everyone adjusting to their new seats. He noticed that it was a lot quieter now, he could imagine that some people had to sit with others that they didn't care for very much or other sticky situations like that. He felt lucky to sit with someone that he at least knew partially. With a tired yawn the blonde sat back down, and reclined back in his bus seat glancing out through the window of the bus. "Come on let's go already...." He mumbled in English his stomach getting the best of him.

Akira

Akira smiled warmly when she noticed the girl who obvious was Misao. She held her hand out to the other girl, grinning like a goofball. She obviously was in a much better mood than the past two days.. However the reason for her higher spirits was a little unclear, "Nice to meet you Misao-chan." She smiled. Her accent was a bit off. Although she did have a few of the physical characteristics, it was clear she was not born in japan, "Sorry if that was embarrassing. I just love meeting new people." She replied with a sheepish laughter. She really didn't think her actions through, but she pull all eyes on the other girl. It was pretty rude when she thought back on it. Oh well, she doesn't seem traumatized.. so I guess it wasn't that terrible for her. We'll get over it then. She comforted herself before looking out the window for a moment, then back to Keiko, "Miyuu. Akira by the way. Though you can call me Akira if you want to.. I don't mind." She sweatdropped with nervous laughter. She almost forgot to supply her own name, "I haven't seen you around before.. are you a junior?" she asked curiously, brown eyes looking over the other girl. They had a lot of simular traits.. brown hair, brown eyes.. it was kind of weird. Though she shook it off. They really didn't have much else in common.. Her hair was long while Akira's own was short as a boy's. This girl looked completely feminine.. while she on the other hand looked ridiculous in makeup, at least she thought so anyhow.

Akira noticed her behavior and put her hand on the other girl's shoulder, "I don't know who your senior is.. but if you ever need anything.. you can call me if you like." and she offered her hand out, "I'll put it in your phone...you have one..right?" she asked tilting her head. Shit. What if she doesn't? Then you were completely inconsiderate and rude.. She bit her lip for a moment before continuing, "It's just..that look on your face.." she trailed off, "I know the feeling.. So how about we be friends? We can keep eachother from feeling that way.." She smiled assuringly to her. She's a lot like me.. the look on her face.. it's so sad and lonely.. I wonder why.. Akira then pulled a box out of her bag, tearing it open then offering it to Keiko, shaking it slightly, "Pocky? It's strawberry flavor~." she asked with a friendly smile and a pleasant chime to her tone. She wanted to make this girl feel more comfortable. She looked like she was so...lost. Hell, why not.. if I can't help myself.. I might as well see if I can help her. Though I wonder if I should actually be doing this.. will people treat her poorly for befriending me? Will it put her in danger with Devone? Would Devone lash out at a girl like her? Akira ran her free hand through her hair with a sigh. I'm going to have grey hair before I graduate if I keep thinking so much. Then she peered over at the seats around her. Infront of her was Yomi and Varthur. After giving Keiko time to take one of the strawberry covered buscuit sticks, she reach up and tapped Yomi on the shoulder, "Oi, I saw you last night and that was no place for an introduction, I'm Miyuu, Akira. Though you can call me Akira if you want to." She replied brightly, ignoring the bad vibes she recieved from Varthur before the seating changes, then she offered the box of pocky to Yumi, "Want a piece?" she grinned childishly.

Akira then turned back to Keiko, "We can share what's left afterwards." she winked at her playfully. To those who knew her, Akira's picture was definitely next to the word bipolar in the dictionary.. her anger issues caused her fuse to be.. irrationally short.. though she could be extremely sweet when she tried hard enough. She eventually turned to the seats behind her, noticing Bishop and Kei. Kei.. Her eyes widened and she zoned out for a bit. She'd acted pretty shallow the night before.. pretending to not be angry with him anymore to win a bet with Devone.. She broke away from her thoughts however when she noticed she'd been facing them for almost an entire minute without saying a word. She shook her head to be sure she wouldn't get lost in thought again before holding the box of pocky to them this time, "Want some?" she asked laughing nervously, "That's a bit embarrassing.. I didn't mean to gaze off into space like that.." she felt her cheeks heat up, "Sorry about that." Her brown eyes lingered on Bishop for a moment as she waited for them to respond or take a piece, but they would glance at Kei every now and then. She didn't want to forgive him, she wanted to hang onto the grudge, but it was becoming harder to cling on the grudge the more she was exposed to him. She didn't have any friends anymore except Silas. Sure she was trying to befriend Yumi and Keiko, but she didn't have them yet.. and Varthur was mad at her for some reason she still wasn't certain about. Honestly it was getting on her nerves. Who is he to be the nice guy when he has a right to be mad at me then a total prick when I can't even think of a reason he should be mad at me at all!? On the bus.. he had every right.. but why'd he get mad at the party..? She shook her head blinking when she felt the box of pocky slip from her fingers, catching the box of pocky at the last second, "Whew, that was close." she was blushing much darker now, "I need to pay more attention to what I'm doing.."

Keiko Misao

I want to go home.. even if it's lonely at home.
Keiko decided on her own, in her little head where she was granted privacy compared to sitting on board a cramped bus full of noisy classmates. Not to say that she was grumpy, just uncomfortable for the time being. She was still happy to have met people but she wouldn't preferred to socialise in a much more relaxing and less tense atmosphere though little did she know, for most other classmates, this was a less tense atmosphere. Keiko would've preferred socialising in a small club with shared common interests or inviting someone over her apartment, class maybe since it was more organised and there was more space as well as a limit to how many people there were in attendance sharing a single room. However, this excursion had been compulsory and she didn't want to have faked sick and lie just to miss it. Even if she didn't contain her memories or recall who she was, at the very least this experience could serve as a new beginning to becoming better, someone more honest perhaps.

"Miyuu. Akira by the way. Though you can call me Akira if you want to.. I don't mind."
The girl named Akira seated beside her introduced herself seemingly nervous but Keiko didn't understand why she would be. If anyone, Keiko believed she should be the nervous one.
"I haven't seen you around before.. are you a junior?"
Keiko nodded complacently, distracted momentarily by her own thoughts before managing to place a little smile across her lips as she stared back. Akira appeared to be analyzing her as Keiko noticed the girl's eyes move from her hair and back to her eyes. As the girl Akira observed her though, she also ended up analyzing her seat mate back without the intention to do so. Wow Keiko stopped staring as Akira did, feeling a light weight placed on her shoulder only to turn her head slightly and find it was Akira's hand plopped upon it.
"I don't know who your senior is.. but if you ever need anything.. you can call me if you like." "I'll put it in your phone...you have one..right?"
Keiko nodded, the same nod as before as she shuffled through the items in her bag though her mind was tumbling through questions like why this girl Akira was acting so nice to her. Is it because she noticed the same things Keiko did, their similarity in looks? Keiko hummed a little tune as she located her phone successfully and handed it to Akira without a second thought. Although Keiko questioned people, she was willing to believe in people quite easily and maybe part of that was because she couldn't really recall a negative experience besides a feeling of alienation, being different and not associated with everyone. Besides that though, she was fine. She wasn't being picked on or bullied, or targeted in some way so she wasn't afraid of getting to know anyone or place her trust in their hands.

"It's just..that look on your face.." "I know the feeling.. So how about we be friends? We can keep each other from feeling that way.."
Akira said with a soft smile that made Keiko's eyes widen. She wasn't sure if the girl really understood what she was feeling as it was a very sudden thing to say to someone you just met but then again, Keiko also knew she had started a tendency to observe people, and hope to find similarities with them. Maybe Akira was trying to do the same too?
It was a really big question, whether she was understood or not. It was a nice feeling though that someone was trying to, even if it was a random bus seatmate.
At the sound of something jingling about in a box, Keiko turned her attention back to reality to find a box positioned in front of her held by Akira.
"Pocky? It's strawberry flavor~."
"I don't know if..." Keiko started, about to say she didn't know if she liked that flavour but instead of continuing on, slowly pinched two fingers in like chopsticks to grab a biscuit stick that was covered in pink for the most part which she assumed was the flavouring. Keiko nibbled the top of the stick curiously like a mouse to find that it tasted really good, the so called pocky being devoured in a second afterwards and missing out on the discussion between Akira and those seated in front of her because she was distracted by the fondness of the snack that she had to write it down in her notebook to buy some more in the future, hopefully on her way home.

"We can share what's left afterwards." Akira winked over at her as Keiko mimicked the gesture slowly, trying to copy it to the exact detail. As she wasn't usually the winking type, it felt like an experiment or a baby copying a parent. It was really that foreign a gesture for her to do. Keiko had managed to notice that Akira was staring at Kei her previous seat mate for quite a while before offering some pocky to the boys (Bishop and Kei) too. How generous... Keiko noted, finding the snack pretty delectable that she wasn't even sure she'd share if she owned a box or two.. or more.
"That's a bit embarrassing.. I didn't mean to gaze off into space like that..""Sorry about that."
Keiko watched as Akira's face glowed red and it was apparent it was because she had stared at Kei for so long which made Keiko look over at Kei too to try to understand the reason. It was obvious the two knew each other but there was some kind of unexplained tension hanging between them that Keiko couldn't comprehend yet. Maybe later? she reassured herself as she stared over at the blonde boy (Bishop) seated besides Kei.
"Hello..."
Keiko murmured over to the blonde (Bishop), wondering if any of the boys could hear her or Akira's voice would overwhelm her at any moment since the girl was a lot more lively and was more well acquainted with them. After practising how to wink a little earlier, Keiko thought she'd try it out and winked at the blonde (Bishop) since the gesture seemed to work well on Akira and make her look cute, Keiko wanted to try it too. Although her expression changed in an instant as the box of pocky almost fell to the ground.
"Wahhh!"
Keiko had shrieked in a panic as if her life depended on it, only to sigh with great relief as the box was caught. That would have been such a waste of a delicious snack! Her cheeks puffed up at the outrageous thought.

Kei

"Hey, Kei..... How's it goin?" Kei shrugged, "Fine, ready to get back and still a bit worn from last night." He wasn't exactly looking to strike up a lengthy conversation but he wasn't going to be rude, Bishop wasn't a bad guy. Of course he was a bit exhausted, or more precisely still a bit hungover even after his sleep and breakfast, though it wasn't as bad as it was when he woke. That being said part of him wanted to ignore everything around him, including his new seatmate, and just get some additional shuteye, his sleep not being that bad but limited by its location and with the night they had all had it was hard to feel ready for more without a bit more recuperation. Even with boxing he got to eat well and a full nights sleep in a comfortable bed, even if he was physically tired. "Want some?" When Akira's voice rang in his ears Kei felt a tad reinvigorated, turning to see if she was really talking to him of his own accord. The fact that she was made him wonder if she wasn't as mad at him because of the bus incident, if she had cooled down a bit. Regardless he was glad that she was looking at him without a sour expression, much less talking to him. Of course something was still off, not just on her end but on his, he didn't feel as excited as he would have been several days ago, whether it be because of his current state or just the past day he wasn't sure. He still wanted to get to know her though and talking, whether it be nothing special or not, was progress to getting back on that path. "That's a bit embarrassing.. I didn't mean to gaze off into space like that.." The tension was slightly broken with some of Akira's nonsensical talk, saying something he had no clue about and then blushing, it was as cute as ever in an awkward almost odd way.

"Sorry about that." Kei didn't say anything, he still wasn't sure what she had done so he ignored it and reached forward, taking a single one of the offered snack. He wasn't a big fan but he just wanted to take one to be polite and keep the ball rolling in terms of talking to Akira, even if his response was only a, "Thank you." He gave a small smile, though it changed to surprise when the box slipped from Akira's hand and he thought about reaching out and grabbing it but Akira was quick enough and beat him to it. "Whew, that was close." The deeper blush and her continue Akira like personality, at least the good side of it, almost made him laugh but he didn't want it to be misconstrued and cause another blowout so he held it back, and continued to hold back by only giving a friendly smile to her next comment. "I need to pay more attention to what I'm doing.." It was all made easier with Keiko's outburst when Akira almost dropped the box. He just finished his bit of the snack and looked over to Keiko, she was still as strange as ever but it was an interesting and nice kind of strange. "Looks like we didn't move that far apart." He turned to Akira after that and gave a final, "Thank you for the snack." Before turning back around, he wasn't being rude but he couldn't just strike up a conversation and instead he got comfortable in his seat, not closing his eyes or trying to go to sleep but letting himself zone out a bit, waiting for either something else to happen or for them to reach their destination, though he hoped it was the latter, he was ready to get back and let things settle down.

Bishop Trander

"Fine, ready to get back and still a bit worn from last night." Bishop smiled softly and nodded understandingly. He noticed that Kei looked especially tired as himself, so there was a mutual want to get some rest between the two. Bishop adjusted his posture against the window of the bus to get comfortable and sighed in the process about to get comfortable. But a swish of brown hair caught his eye, and he turned to see the senior Akira starring at.... Him? Someone behind him? He just sat there, his eyes wide now feeling a little bit awkward. He could have sworn one of those branch ball thingy's you see in westerned rolled by in the process. And true to Akira's nature, she snapped out of the possible starring contest and handed out a pink box of pocky. "Want some?" "Hmm? Uhh, sure yeah." "That's a bit embarrassing.. I didn't mean to gaze off into space like that.. Sorry about that." Bishop laughed a tiny bit, noticing Kei was quiet for this certain interaction. "It's no problem... Thank you Akira." He was kind and gentle as always.

"Hello..." Bishop turned to the gentle voice that spoke to him, finding the source came from the girl sitting beside Akira. He smiled in his usual kind way making eye contact with the new girl (Keiko). "Hi, how are you?" "Wahhh!" Bishop jumped at the girlish squeal, and noticed Akira's new firm grip on the box. "Whew, that was close. I need to pay more attention to what I'm doing.." Bishop sweatdropped along with the senior (Akira), but he maintained a smile. "Crisis averted right? Hehe..." He took a bite of the pocky then blinked realizing it was strawberry flavored. His eyes shifted over to Keiko and snickered a bit seeing the silly look on her face. He personally thought it was funny, but stopped before the girl would think he was laughing at her.

His seatmate seemed to settle in, along with everybody else on the bus. "Thank you for the pocky Akira." He nodded and took another deliberate bite at the sweet treat looking back to Keiko. "Oh! I'm sorry. I never introduced myself.... My name is Bishop. What's yours?". He spoke with genuine interest, glancing over to Akira hoping to give the body language off that he wasn't just forgetting about her.

Keiko

"Crisis averted right? Hehe..." Keiko nodded her head agreeing with the blonde boy but in a serious manner. She really did consider wasted food a crisis, not just food she was really fond of, taking into considering that there are so many suffering and in poverty. She may have lost her family, memories and everything that defined her as a person and as an individual, but she was still thoughtful and considerate of others, in ways that were maybe a bit more extreme than the norm.
"Looks like we didn't move that far apart." When Kei recognised her presence, Keiko stiffened and gave another nod, but more firm added with a small nervous smile. She knew she wasn't responsible for the sitting location and it was all coincidence, but being so near him again made her feel like a stalker. Perhaps she was just overly conscious of the impressions she was setting to others.
"Oh! I'm sorry. I never introduced myself.... My name is Bishop. What's yours?" Keiko's eyes were averted over to Bishop. "Keiko.. Keiko is happy to make your acquaintance!" The first time she expressed her name, it came out hesitated but the latter enthusiasm made up for it.
As a girl, Keiko naturally compared the boys she had met so far in her mind. Aeon.. Jonathan... Kei..Bishop. Aeon would be the hardest to get to know, the one she considered would always give her and perhaps everyone else as well, the cold shoulder. Jonathan she barely had a chance to talk to, but the family portrait remained constant in her mind and the impression she received from him bringing it during a beach trip, made it seem like family was very important to him. It was cute. Kei she found to be mysterious, yet a gentleman. She couldn't really tell what kind of person he is except for the fact he is very kind towards everyone and Bishop whom she had just met, was very cheerful and easy to get along with, making her assume he got along with everyone and was likely popular or excelling at something; studies or sports maybe even both.
Somehow, she got embarrassed at her own thoughts and started to shy away from the ongoing conversation.

As the bus halted, she swore she could see a boy (Shin) watching from one of the school buildings. What was odd about it, was the classroom he was in looked pretty empty. I wonder if he got left behind? The view was too far to recognise him, but judging from the hair alone that she could glimpse at, she assumed it was a boy. He looked pretty lonely up there. Keiko listened attentively to the announcements delivered by Mr. Drone as the Class president nominations were mentioned especially. This is a tough call, I've barely met the other juniors. She counted her fingers of people she had already met, from the trip on the bus alone and it made her wonder just how much she missed at the beach by staying put in her cabin. It was a bit of a sad realisation but then again, she didn't bring any swimwear and would naturally be left out of the activities with her peers regardless. Although, she did hear a lot of noise coming from outside during night time. It sounded like there was a lot of fun going on, but she had just continued reading her books without peeking.

Keiko didn't like the fussy lines but she slowly got up from her seat and waited to join it because it was a step closer to home. As she waited, she looked out the window again but not at the boy (Shin), but out towards the crowds. There were so many students that she wondered who would get nominated knowing surely it wouldn't be her. As she looked around more, her eyes settled on a student who stuck out like sore thumb from the rest. The girl (Devone) was in all meaning of the word, beautiful. The way she moved through the crowd made her look like a queen, with such poise and grace and the right level of feminine and authority put together. Although her black hair was very common amongst the crowd being in an asian country, she still had all the qualities to stand out. Keiko was a little jealous at how confident this girl (Devone) looked to be, when she was always unsure of herself. "Who is that.." Keiko stared on, not asking the question to anyone in particular but as she asked, she almost swore for a fraction of the second, that the beautiful girl (Devone) had a devious look on her face that gave the vibe of someone you wouldn't want to mess with.
