Why Airdalen?
It's a foolish reason I regret.
Devone originally came to Japan from the US in search of her long lost childhood friend.. well penpal who turned out to be Bishop Trander.

Her mother's suicide?
It's a good story for the drama I suppose.
Devone is still grieving the loss of her mother but isn't unnecessarily open about it as it might make her appear 'soft' or 'weak'. In secret, she is still funding investigations regarding the suicide on the chance it may have instead been murder. Now and then more of as an exception, she may mention the incident to third parties if she has something to gain rather than for consolation.

Boyfriends?
Ha, weren't they lucky?
She's had quite a number of relationships but she doesn't come by cheap. All of the men she has dated were high up in the business world and were just for that, her own selfish gain. In saying that, she hasn't experienced falling in love before and in all her dating games she's only kissed. The idea of going further always scared her because it meant becoming vulnerable.

Aunt: Mee-Yon (meaning beauty) Kim , Uncle: Sora Fukui
Devone lives with her Aunt and Uncle and their newborn baby.
Much like her father, they have a rough and serious demeanor to outsiders, but to family they are in every meaning of the word- warm and comforting.
She is very happy for them but is terrible at showing it and likes to keep to herself and out of their way as she is just a 'guest' in their home.
Besides being related to them, she knows very little of who they are and what they do for a living.

Image
Mother: Chia Larsden
Devone's looks take after her mother whom was recently reported as an act of suicide supposedly due to the divorce. The news hit Devone hard though she covers it up most of the time, only slipping slightly now and then. Devone was very fond of her as a child, but as she grew up distanced herself from her entire family because she desired a sense of individuality, to be her own person. She felt that her mother was far too clingy and never understood that.
Unlike her father, her mother was very timid and afraid of taking risks.. so it was a big surprise when she took her own life.

Image
Father: Seung (meaning successor; winning) Kim
Devone takes her personality after her father for the most part especially in business... except for the fact that while he is very strict and intimidating on the surface, he has recently become a big softie towards his daughter and showers her with affection since the passing of her mother- perhaps a little too much. He used to be strict and intimidating in all areas including family matters but after becoming a big softie, Devone started to lose respect for him.
Ever since moving to Japan, she has cut off contact with him (as he stayed behind in America) much as possible being determined to do what she wants and sought after what she wants in whatever way she deems fit..or wants.
Although his business dealings differ from time to time in numerous areas, for the most part he is an entrepreneur and comes up with his own genius ideas.
Most of his wealth comes from owning his own airlines and being the arrogant man he is (which Devone takes on as a trait); it's even named after them!
-Kim Airlines-

Image
Bodyguard/ Butler/ Driver/ Right-hand Man: Atsushi Mahiro
Devone's bodyguard whom is hired to drive her to and from place to place including but not limited to; school & business meetings. He is also responsible for her general well being. Despite being hired for just that, he serves her much like a loyal dog, doing whatever his master bids him to do and it is believed by Devone that this is due to him sharing the same sort of amusement or enjoyment from the actions she takes that most people would consider despicable or unethical in order to have her way each and every time.
He is not a resident of their home but on occasion when security is a concern, he stays over at the estate.
Little is known about him but Devone is quite certain his background history is related to illegal affairs.

ImageImage
Kendo Instructor: Arata Mahiro
Devone's latest instructor is a cousin of her bodyguard butler, Atsushi. Ever since her zombie apocalypse nightmare that left her feeling helpless and unprepared to deal with events should things go wrong or badly with her mother's suicide investigation, she took initiative and signed up for private lessons in the art of Kendo. Unknown to her right-hand man, Devone could have given his position/job to Arata instead but personally picked Atsushi over him when given the offer.

Kaien Sora

“It takes a lot more to make someone like me uncomfortable, not just a discussion on mere instruments.”

Kaien smiled and nodded as he continued to watch Devone begin eatting the cheesecake. He then followed her gestures looking up at the clock and her fork twirling. "She must be in thought. She then spoke asking a question which probably most would expect a passive answer from him but none-the-less the question was posed and ready to be answered.

“So pigeon… if you were going to control someone you hate for a day, what terrible things would you make them do for you?” quickly following came. “Hypothetically speaking of course..”. Kaien smiled and began to think. He never had a question be asked but then again like said before none expected such a thing.

"That depends "Kitten" He said jokingly seeing that Devone calls him that all the time, he wasn't annoyed by it but he wanted some fun on his part with the name.
"do you want physical humiliation or mental? I prefer mental but what approaches are you thinking of?" He continued. answers were obviously flowing through his head. At the same time though, It made Kaien quite curious of what was going through Devone's head. "Did something happen yesterday?" he looked a little serious at this point and felt like changing the subject to figure out the full story behind what was going on. He continued to sip his coffee as he studied Devone's eyes.

"Controlling physically, I would probably do something that involved this person to get sick or suffer pain but if you want mental, you should target the heart like having her watch you flirt with the guy or so" he said, he honestly hoped she wasn't planning on using these methods especially the second. For some reason, he felt he probably wouldn't be able to watch that. Kaien was known to have a lot of inner jealousy but he shook that off lifting his cup up again.

"My answers could be worse but the question was so sudden and i apologize for that" he said.

Devone

"That depends "Kitten" Heh kitten huh, you know cats can be a danger to birds including pigeons? she thought folding her arms and waiting to see if her drink would arrive on time or if Kaien would really answer her question. "Do you want physical humiliation or mental? I prefer mental but what approaches are you thinking of?" Devone smirked, tilting her head to the side giving a: ‘you can’t be serious’ look. I don’t think you’re ready to hear what I’m thinking.. she knew sometimes she did things that went too far than it should but isn’t that what living life on the edge is about? Besides, she had the money to achieve whatever she wanted to do. It was a gift that couldn’t be wasted. Surely there were many people all over the world who wanted to do things but didn’t have the funds. She couldn’t waste her blessing by holding back on her desires now could she? Devone watched her fellow senior’s expression change from cosy to more serious as if he realised what she asked for wasn’t just an amusing out of the blue joke. Preference on mental torture though.. you’re getting interesting. she thought smirking a little wider not even taking notice when her water bottle did arrive placed on the table in a knick of time. Kaien paused the chatter to sip his coffee but his eyes never seemed to leave hers. "Controlling physically, I would probably do something that involved this person to get sick or suffer pain but if you want mental, you should target the heart like having her watch you flirt with the guy or so" Well the physical was predictable but watching me flirt with a guy… hm. Devone thought, patting the fork against her bottom lip before jabbing it into the middle of one of the churros by her cup as if she were killing someone with all her spared bottled malevolence. What guy would that be when it comes to Akira.. don’t tell me guys could actually fall for that goofy act too oh bother... she thought tempted to laugh as she brought the churro at the end of her fork to her mouth to be consumed. "My answers could be worse but the question was so sudden and i apologize for that" At that, Devone put the fork back down and chuckled unable to contain herself. “Apology accepted, your answer was a bit.. of an eye opener.” She replied, swinging back so she was sitting properly in her chair no longer at side angle to finish her strawberry cheesecake.

When she was done, she flicked the cap off her water bottle taking small sips and wiped her mouth delicately with the provided napkins though she had eaten so neatly the tissue looked unused by the time she placed it back on the café table. Devone was throughout the entire time thinking on Kaien’s suggestion. It made sense to go for the heart but it wasn’t Devone’s area. She had never loved or been heartbroken in that kind of way but it was common sense to assume that would be painful. “How about this..” she said, smoothening out the skirt of her uniform. “Since we have an excursion tomorrow, that means no homework.. would you mind working on an assignment for me pigeon?” she asked almost sweetly though her eyes still had that devilish look upon them. “I’d like you to write up all your suggestions on that question I just asked you under the category mental torture. Impress me.” She requested wondering if he was going to follow through. She fell back into thinking on that one suggestion that even she knew she wouldn’t have thought of since affairs of the heart were the last thing on her mind. She figured in future she would grow up alone with no family and free to pursue whatever she wanted with nothing to hold her back from going from one stepping stone to the other. I wonder who this weak spot of yours is Akira.. she started thinking as she blankly stared at the Bling water bottle in front of her and started fiddling with it in one hand. Silas is always by your side.. but you seemed to be.. getting a bit too cosy with that guy Kei in the classroom.. “Hm..” she leaned the water bottle closer so her lips were placed against the bottle cap. Even so.. I don’t think I’ve flirted with anyone for such a long time.. She shoved the bottle away from her again remembering she had company. “Kaien..” she flashed a smirk as she stood up from her seat. “It’s been… real, but I think it’s time I head home before the rain turns into a storm.” Tick tock Akira.. your day is coming.

Devone

Kaien was being strangely compliant even when Devone called it an assignment for him to do which she wouldn’t really expect anyone to take on without a bit of argument or negotiation unless paid to do so straight off. What a weird pigeon.. ever the more weirder, he actually looks keen and interested. He grinned in response and spoke playfully, apparently this new student’s personality was full of surprises. "Heh, Devone, you know we both know you're capable of doing that and most likely would do such a thing yourself. She smirked as the words left him. Well I’ll take that on as a compliment.. ”- Listen up Kitten, I can do this hehe but you're going to have to go out with me for awhile." he said poking her forehead again with ease. What? Devone thought confusedly, definitely not foreseeing that coming. Go.. out, for a while? What? she repeated the words in her head still confused but she didn’t allow it to show on her face keeping up with a perfect amused mask; smirk and all. "I do definately enjoy how i can be open with you but yes overall consider it done." he said with a smile that irritated her a little. She hadn’t even agreed to his terms yet..unless of course he was joking. He must be joking.. he can’t mean what I think he just meant. "Your right, I should be heading back as well, do you want to come back with me to use the phone? and stay at my apartment until your driver comes to arrives? or do you expect him to be at your school? I don't mind either way, My apartment ... is the one we passed with the limo anyways" he offered, his playful tone leaving him but Devone’s mindset gears were turning.

Maybe you really are a wolf in sheep’s clothing hm?
“You can’t be serious..” she finally voiced her thought on it. “Did you really mean that pigeon? Go out with you for.. a while?” she said as her expression changed showing obvious disbelief. “That’s quite a bold move..” she admitted shaking her head as her fingers brushed through her fringe before she looked up again with an even more conniving smirk than usual. “Now it’s your turn to ‘listen up’..” she started, taking a step towards him and grabbing his chin roughly with one hand so his face was forced to face hers to establish eye contact as she talked. “If you mean ‘go out’ as in another day like today then perhaps.” She said her smirk fading to a friendly smile then quickly returning at her next words. “But if you mean the other ‘go out’..” Her blue eyes sharpened to a glare. ”I hope for your sake you were joking about that minor detail.. “ I’m not a cheap girl that anybody can get their hands on. she thought before using the hand holding his chin to forcefully turn his head side to side inspecting his face. “You may be relatively good looking but you’d have better luck with the waitresses in this café. It takes a lot to please me.” She concluded before laughing. “What on earth would you be thinking if you meant that?” served as the icing on Devone’s menacing cake, the rhetorical question that made one look stupid for even putting such emotions or propositions out in the open in front of her. Not that she was trying, it was really just who she was. She ignored the seemingly hospitable offer for shelter under the rain to allow Kaien time to react to what she had so candidly stated.

Devone

Bravo.. bravo.
Devone clapped as the drama ended as if it were a show, right before a few more students, Ms Roselle and Mr Drone got on the bus. Highschool sure was entertaining to say the least in terms of the various clashing personalities though she didn't give a damn about her grades. Fail or pass, she had a bright future ahead of her. She reflected back on the argument, staring out the window. Worst person than anyone on this bus though.. I strangely find myself insulted. she thought, running her fingers down the inside of her pocket to retrieve her new cellphone. She flipped it open, swarovski diamonds sparkling in all it's glory along the sides as she started filling up her contact list with numbers inside her head of people who came in handy like Atsushi, lawyers and other so-called business associates. Devone though alone, was never truly alone. Not with all the money she had and was about to gain from her mother's inheritance. She shut her phone gently, hand over the cover as she paused realising she had forgotten something. That Kaien.. he owes me a paper. she thought, leaning over the arm rest with her phone pressed against her cheek recalling the other day where she had asked him for a favour. Was funny enough that she thought it with the word 'owe'. I don't need him anyway.. Her eyes turned as a crude joke was made about the death of her assigned junior's (Miami) father. The girl (Mizuki) with black hair and a covered eye sat beside Silas without hesitation, even going so far as to pass him a cup with her number written on it from what Devone could pick up sitting across the aisle from them. She smirked, not afraid to be caught staring. Well well, looks like I won't have to flirt. She can do the dirty work for me. Cheers Akira.

She leaned back in her seat, stuffing her phone in her pocket with her arms folded behind her head preparing to sleep. She easily stuck out on the bus, wearing casual clothing that presumably flaunted her wealth though she would reason that it was not for bragging rights, but rather because she deserved the best in all aspects of life. She was spoiled, selfish and a lot more undesirable qualities one would not want to look for in an acquaintance. But she wasn't always that way. She heaved a deep breath, still relaxedly keeping her eyes closed and prepared to take a nap. The last time she went to the beach, was for business purposes. She liked to exploit business opportunities in her spare time as a mere hobby of hers. Though in school, her grades were fairly low.. it was not that she was incapable of exerting herself but rather, she only exerted herself in beneficial outlets like making a profit. School work was boring. Surely, for some kids it may benefit them to have a good transcript to show off in college but for Devone who was easily granted everything she desired one phone call away.. there was just no point. It was a waste of energy and in some ways, she was lazy only doing what entertained or benefited her. She had no responsibilities, nothing much else to worry about. Her family could very well take care of themselves and so could she. The 'Kim' bloodline were and always have been, wealthy. She felt her seat shift as the bus drove over a few bumps in the road as she forced her eyes to close a little more trying not to get too annoyed by the racket around her of gossiping school teens. Though Devone was not the nicest of people, she was very rarely the type to start trouble with people out of the blue. She would always wait for the prey to come to her. It was more interesting that way, anyway.

Devone

Devone observed, quite happy about her seating location. It seemed drama was always brewing across the aisle. "Mizuki... you can call me Silas," It started with innocent flirtation tossed between a girl (Mizuki) and a boy (Silas) and took a drastic turn. Silas had made his move, kissing the girl to what looked like a little bit against her will before she.. revealed herself as much more than ‘another whore’ as she put it. What on earth… flirt like one then deny you are one just because the boy you may have a fancy on won’t take you seriously.. sigh. I don’t understand it sometimes but it’s not my responsibility.. she thought, continuing to watch as the badge was shown –authentic no doubt- and she had Silas in a threatening circumstance of messing with the ‘P.S.B’ further emphasised by Miami. "My whole family is apart of the PSB except my mom Saki! Goodness boy..." Mizuki and Miami hardly looked related. Miami wasn’t someone who she understood but Devone was pretty sure the junior (Miami) wouldn’t lie about her family being members of the P.S.B. It took her a moment to realise what a splendid opportunity this was to cause Akira trouble and perhaps gain some shares in the Silas stock market with the distraction she would impose, another plus. “Officer.. forgive me for interrupting.” Devone said, uncrossing her legs and standing up to walk across the aisle to where the commotion was once again brewing. She leaned her back against the side of the aisle seat in front of Silas and Mizuki’s location, having no trouble with balance even as the bus moved. She smiled sweetly, extending her arm out and offering her hand for a shake. “It may be a bad time for introduction but it’s a pleasure to meet someone working in the police department.. I am Devone, Miami’s senior.” She introduced, retracting her hand whether the girl Mizuki as Silas called her, shook her hand or not. The girl did seem to have her hands.. full with Silas. “I’ll cut to the chase as to not occupy more of your time unnecessarily but I’d like to inform you of the events that happened prior to your attendance on this bus.” She said, matter of factly. Her business tone was applied throughout that most found more bearable compared to when Devone was casual unless they were trying to scam or rip her off, then her business tone could take a trip around for the worst.

Her blue eyes humanly focused on Mizuki’s, both her missing and non-missing eye as if it were both still there and present to make the girl feel equal to her. Eye contact was always very important to establish when conducting business. Made people take you more seriously like they should and in this case, should be making Mizuki feel accepted. “Prior, a student was causing quite a stir in the back seat which concerns me as she threatened physical violence.. and it involved Miami, that has to be in some way against the law am I right?” she said, her index finger and thumb pinching her own chin as she acted like she was thinking it over. “A school is a place where people should feel safe.. yet the senior was not only distressing the junior Miami under my care, but also her friends like these other three..” she moved her hand away from her chin and swayed it gracefully in the direction of Momo, Sera and Bishop. “And they are the most peaceful bunch I have ever encountered since my time here at Airdalen.. I would greatly appreciate it if you deal with the matter as soon as possible.” She said, her blue eyes reflecting genuine concern as the black half of her heart laughed. “I hate to be such a dibber dobber but I’m afraid something must be done and you have the most authority besides the teachers..” she sighed, her hand brushing through her hair before she pointed to the back with a straight arm. “But that girl (Akira) over there you see with short brown hair has some very bad violent issues bullying the juniors with uncalled for measures such as proposed violence.. and I have valid reason enough to believe she has acted on it before with another junior named Maya.” She shot a smirk Akira’s way as the girl finished helping Varthur up. Let’s see what you’re made of, shall we? She stopped pointing, returning her attention to Mizuki with a normal expression. The smirk long gone. “But of course it is up to you to act, I am merely suggesting what I think is in the best interests of the student body. I would have said something to the teachers but they seem rather occupied and I wouldn’t want to cause a misunderstanding…” Her eyes flickered to where the teachers were sitting in the front row, Ms Roselle going violent against Mr. Drone which could easily show why Devone would hesitate approaching them. “But I trust a member of the police force would handle this matter quite brilliantly as well and if you need anything else, feel free to call me.. it’s the least I can do.” Devone finished with a blinding smile before waiting for the results, her fingers fidgeting with the pendant worn around her neck. It was obvious the air of prestige about her and hopefully that extra supported her story. Otherwise, Mizuki could always interrogate Miami. She would find no fault in what Devone had already stated.

Mizuki Takizawa

Mizuki sighed as she heard Silas start yelling at her about something, as well as a black haired girl (Devone) come up and explain something about past events on the bus before she got there. She sighed as she heard Miami's name involed, knowing the young girl must of done something. Then, a short-haired girl cross dressing (Akira) walked up and began to speak. She nodded at everyone, listening as well as she could as she kept a lid on her temper. "Listen, um... Akira?" Mizuki questined gently, uncomferable by the male name that was exactly like Miami's dad's name. "I do think we should talk about this to make sure you arn't hurt. I know how quickly Miami blows her steam off, and I'd rather tell you privatly the story between her outburst. I can easily tell she probably threatend you, and I'd rather avoid her dad coming. So, do you mind coming with me instead of escorting um... Momo?" Mizuki whispered, uncertain she should already be calling that girl (Momo) her name. She knew her true parents, and she knew it wouldn't be cool blowing it.

Mizuki calmly got up and gently took Akira's hand, her hand cold to the touch as if she had no heart and was made of ice. "It shouldn't take too long..." Mizuki whispered, unnaturally kind now that Miami was getting ready to leave the bus, like everything she did was just one huge act. She no longer worried about what Miami would think, knowing she'd forget pretty soon. Mizuki would only need to act like Daichi everytime she saw Miami to make her happy, and that made her happy. Nothing else mattered if Miami was alright and well, Miami was the only thing Mizuki really had left besides Saki and Akira (Miami's dad). Yet, Miami was the only bond left. "Anyway, come on. Then maybe I can start writing aplogy notes." Mizuki joked slightly, tugging on Akira's arm to follow as Mizuki left the bus quickly.

Kaoru

Kaoru got off the bus, rubbing his dark eyes with an extended yawn. He didn't even get noticed on the bus, it kind of irritated him, but he assumed that the others probably mistook him for a teacher's child. He twitched at the thought. I am not that short! He was kidding himself although, he stood a mere 5'2'' with tennis shoes, he was at least 5'0 without them. For a sixteen year old boy he was implausibly short and child-like in appearance. It was hard for him to be taken seriously as a adolescent, or just as a person in general. He blinked when his gaze cleared, the ocean in front of him capturing his attention.

He was breathless. His eyes scanned the scene around them, he was totally amazed. So this is what the ocean looks like.. I'd never seen it before, wow. I kind of feel exhilarated.. I can't wait for the beach sports! He discovered his bag and with one quick heave, he wrangled it from the pile. He smirked and without second thought, he pitched it over his shoulder. The bag was almost as big as the short male, but he steadily carried it. Indeed he was small and he looked fragile, but he wasn't useless. He loved sports. Then he realized something, something that wreaked havoc on his mood. I don't know where the cabins are, I do not have a senior and everyone here but me seems to have at least a vague idea of where they are going. I don't know any of their names to even ask for directions.. not even the teachers. He gripped the strap to his bag, scowling a bit. He looked around to the people that surrounded him in a close range, which were seniors and which were juniors? He hoped, no, prayed his expression wasn't as pathetic and confused as he felt on the inside. He knew he needed to tell someone, but everyone towered over him, even the girls. It was intimidating even considering of approaching one of them.

Maybe I can just follow the guys? He tried to contemplate a game plan to help himself survive this normally simple task, but it wasn't quite that simple when you were panicked. He sighed to himself and decided on another tactic. Seniors knew who they'd been assigned, right? He nodded to himself with new found determination before trying to figure out who was supposed to be helping him. They'd be looking around as well, right? Today already has started off for the worst. Why the hell did I even come on this trip? I have the worst feeling in the pit of my stomach. He walked over to the first person he could ask, considering no one seemed to be looking for him. He found a girl with long black hair, who he had to admit seemed rather intimidating (Devone). He sighed and clenched his fists, trying to keep his nervousness to a bare minimum, "Excuse me? Hey, can you show me where the boys cabins are? Or..at least tell me please?" He asked with a kind smile, eyes closed so he wouldn't have to witness her expression. Gross, you're not even acting like a boy Kaoru.. good one.

Devone

Devone watched as all the students got into their little pairings, most of which seemed to have changed over the duration since school began. Hm.. maybe I can trade Miami for a more interesting test subject? Then again.. She sighed inwardly, handbag clutched against her by her right arm. At least she hasn’t come whining to me about a cabin tour.. She was about to make her way for the cabins, not forgetting of the beach layout since she had been here a fair few times but a little junior (Kaoru) popped out of nowhere. "Excuse me? Hey, can you show me where the boys cabins are? Or..at least tell me please?" Heh.. I spoke too soon. She turned her body around to be presented with yet another junior. Devone lifted her sunglasses so it was acting as a hairband before she stared down at him intimidatingly, eyes a little bit glaring before she put on a friendly smile, tapping the boy’s head.

“Aww… no.” The latter came out more honestly, in its grumpy tone and all as she retracted her hand. Juniors seriously.. get a hold of yourselves. she was turning around about to ditch the kid but came face to face with Mr. Drone. “What now?” she demanded, eyes narrowed as the teacher and student entered into a stare down contest. “You blinked ha!” Mr. Drone said, pointing at Devone’s face immaturely and doing a little victory dance. This is why I rarely attend P.E class.. she thought irritatingly about to trudge off again until Mr. Drone raised his arm up to block her path, putting a piece of paper in her face with the new pairing listings. Devone’s eyes scanned the list to find her worst nightmare.. assigned TWO juniors. I swear.. these teachers are screwing with me. She shot the brute teacher one last glare before making a sudden turn on her heel, grabbing the little boy (Kaoru) by his arm and dragging him along the ground in the direction of the male cabins like a piece of uncared for meat.

He’s pretty lightweight..good. Makes this easier for the two of us. she thought with a tad bit of humour accompanied by an evident smirk. Devone also wasn’t really listening if the junior (Kaoru) was saying something, the sooner she dropped him off where he needed to be, the sooner she could be left alone which is where she wanted to be. She didn’t really have any plans for the beach stay; not like she had any friends to make plans with but it was a nice break from school and uniforms. School was the only place that could somewhat restrain her from doing whatever she wanted so naturally it wasn’t a place she liked being in. Devone would probably end up sunbathing somewhere; she had enough of messing with people for one day. Being manipulative wasn’t something just anyone could do, it really required skill, knowing your opponents weaknesses and flaws and harnessing it against them… making themselves their own enemy. Frankly, people just didn’t understand that. People like Akira would blame her for it when really; Devone didn’t see it as her fault. It was Akira’s fault for presenting her with all the right tools. You shouldn't give a murderer a weapon, same as one should never leave certain pieces of information in Devone’s hands. General Manipulative Biatch 101..

As she continued walking on, she spotted a helicopter above them landing nearby that was easily identified as belonging to the U.S Navy instigating a few interesting thoughts. Maybe if I.. Nah, couldn’t be bothered. Enough mayhem for today.. I should grant myself a well-earned rest.. It was fortunate timing as they neared the cabins, she had managed to walk past Varthur’s group and avoid getting sprayed by Miami’s water gun. She wasn’t too sure about the poor junior (Kaoru) but she wasn’t against sterilisation so if he got soaked, good for him. She released the junior right at the doorstep of a random male cabin, assuming she had taken him far enough. “You’re welcome.” She droned, putting a hand on her hips and boringly staring off into space waiting for the squirt to head on in or give her a few words. It was just such an uninteresting chore for her.

Kaoru

Kaoru blinked up at (Devone), his eyes determined, yet the fear was definitely present inside his blue eyes, but they closed when he felt a pressure against his head. I am not a dog!! He twitched at the thought, but he needed her help, so he could deal with this for a few moments at the very least. After all, when in rome. He tilted his head away from her, a pout upon the tiny boy's features. This girl is something else.. He mumbled it to himself mentally, but he kind of liked her, she wasn't hugged up on him because he was 'shota' or 'kawaii' the mere thought made him shiver, "Alright I suppose.. I can't make you." He forced a kind smile. Why are all the Seniors so rude to us Juniors anyway? Weren't they a Junior once too? He ran a hand through his blue hair, trying to make up another game plan. Girls are so difficult, they're either treating my like a kid, or not paying attention to me at all like this one, thats why I perfer gu-.. He instantly tensed. No. Don't even think of that!

He frowned a bit at the tone she'd voiced her opinion in, then he couldn't help but smirk. Ha, teacher intervention. Serves you right Ice Queen. He made a snickering sound aloud, but only enough for (Devone) to hear. This side of her is kind of cute in a deadly way~ He snickered again and blinked when the teacher began dancing, taking his phone out and recording it, "Who is he? Does he do this often?" The boy asked curiously, unsure if he would actually get an answer. Kaoru gasped out when he was suddenly tugged alone, jamming his phone into his pocket. He blinked to see it was that girl, and he once again smirked. Looks like I win, Ice Queen. His mood returned to chipper and bubbly so he looked around as he kept up, almost making it pointless for her to drag him in the first place. You almost ripped my arm off. I need to play beach volleyball, careful.. he thought with a whine. He had to prove himself somehow even if he only helped his team score one point, for a short kid like him, that was pretty awesome.

Kaoru knew she wasn't listening to him, so he kept his words scarace, maybe she would reply if he only said a few short sentences. What is with this girl? This is the beach after all, does she not have friends? He tilted his head to gaze up at her, Why do I feel she's lonely? He ended up staring, trying to read the older girl as they walked. I can't tell much else about her, other than the fact she keeps everyone at an arms distance, but why? People are great, shoulders to cry on, someone to hug when you're happy or having a bad day..why wouldn't she want that? This girl is different from the rest, I may enjoy aggervating her.. he snickered at the thought. She seems cutest when she is angry. What is the worst she could do to me anyway? It's not like I'm that weak. Yep, she's my new toy, if she acknowledges it or not. Ice Queen~ you're up for the game of your life. I am not afraid of girls like you. I won't steer clear from you so easily.. what will you do~?

Kaoru laughed when water hit his face as they passed the line of fire, tilting his head a bit, "Wow, she's cute." he grinned when he saw Miami, not even bothering to keep his voice down. He was a male after all, he was just decently open about his findings. She can have a water fight with me any day of the week.. he was slightly flushed, trying not to think of how many attractive girls he would encounter on this trip. Sure he could flirt and play off his boyish looks, but he wasn't immune to getting flustered either. He was actually easily embarrassed when he lost control of a situation, "Thank you sweetheart~ I can't wait to see you in a swimsuit~" he winked at her teasingly, clearing out of her arms distance just in case she tried to retaliate to his flirty reply. Heh, she's going to be fun to play with! He thought excited. I wonder if there is already boys in this cabin? He put his stuff down infront of the cabin, opening the door and just sliding it in for safety. He'd move elsewhere if the boys who potentially owned the room didn't want him. He stripping his shirt, shoes, and pants, placing them on his bag and running back to where he'd saw a group formed. His blue and white trunks he previously wore under his clothes suited him rather well and was now on display as he stopped when he finally found them again. He looked to (Varthur, Miami, Bishop etc) before smiling politely, "T-the last person I met wasn't too friendly.. mind if I join you guys?" His blue eyes were pleading as he looked up to all of them, the only ones he was close to in height were the girls, but he was even shorter than some of them..it didn't help he posessed a feminine quality to him as well.

Akira

Akira slowed her pace once she was out of the groups sight, sighing to herself and wiping her forehead, "Finally I can relax and let down that ridiculous guard I was holding.." she laughed to herself. I know Silas expected me to blow up on Kei, actually I expected myself to blow up on him, but I am pretty proud of myself.. though I shall have to punish Silas a tad bit more for that forced confrontation with Kei.. she giggled to herself arms stretching towards the sky. She loved how the sun felt on her skin. Bikini's are so nice.. now I see why girls like them. She could relax now. No Sera, no Silas, no Kei...Momo was fine. She only made her nervous because she wanted to make her harsh words up to her so badly. I know what it's like to get bullied.. I shouldn't have called her a cotton candy poodle. Her hair is actually quite pretty.. She took in a deep breath, looking up at the sky with a smile. Oh well, I need to find those Jet ski's! She hummed to herself, watching classmates she barely knew splashing and running around on the sand. She didn't really pay heed to them, they were random boring students, students that sparked no interest in the brunette.

Though.. seeing all those shocked expressions on Silas was about as refreshing as being at the beach in general. She laughed to herself happily, she'd have to give Mizuki a big hug the second she saw her, even if it might be a bit awkward and pushing the line of their possible slow-forming friendship. I really do need to thank her though. Without her advice, I wouldn't be enjoying this trip so much.. Though, I still need a few more ideas on what to do with Silas.. bondage is out of the question.. that is surely not going to bring up good memories for him.. I don't think I'd be able to handle anything heated or racy.. she felt her face heat up at the mere thought, d-definitely not. I'd have to be pretty drunk to be that brave. Wait a second.. I'll just combine two ideas..! She grinned, not even noticing Devone as she made her way to the shops. That pervert can't resist anything in a skirt.. add icecream and flirting into the equation and things get into motion to by the end of the day show him my 'job'.. Tomorrow is Neko day.. bringing him into a cafe full of girls and his best friend dressed in small neko costumes which he cannot touch? I think he'd find that torturous. Then I can borrow a males neko cosplay from the shop after work~ She was a disturbing force when allowed time to think. She walked into the shop that rented jet ski's and she began looking at the different deals.. hmm...

Devone

When Kei came over at her call out, she was pretty pleased he wasn’t chickening out of a conversation with her otherwise she would have been overestimating him and she’d hate to overestimate anyone. He could be easily misunderstood with his tough guy demeanour, that much she realised as he came over but she was keeping aware that it wasn’t just an act as he was capable of tossing a mean punch if he wanted to being well built and she had no plans on being on the other side of it if he wasn’t against hitting women. However, looking back at the bus incident, her curiosity was slightly peaked at his first demonstration of anger that she had witnessed of him thus far. It was rational why he got angry in the first place so she still had no basis to judge but she wouldn’t mind at all seeing the peaceful, quiet boy in the corner of classrooms turn into the irrational hulk kind of angry. That would be very entertaining. People like Akira in her opinion.. only showed their ugly true selves when angry. The same could go for Devone. It was really hard to tell a part the genuinely nice from the fakers until a crisis arose where there was nothing left to gain and everything to lose. Selfish.. selfish monsters.

Kei looked confused the more she spoke but she spoke onward, egging her fellow senior to join in on the activities for tonight whatever they may be, not leaving him much time to think or rationalise it to the point he would be scared of coming or be suspicious of her more than he may already be from Akira and other gossip spreaders. When he smiled though out of the blue, she knew the offer was as good as sealed. "Alright sure, I bet it will be fun." he agreed as she responded with a kind smile and her hand in the shape of a tick underneath her chin. “Superb, I really appreciate you stopping by to chat.” Devone said a bit more softly, to add meaning to her words. She was quite an actress when she wanted to be and sadly it worked almost every time. That relative of Miami’s (Mizuki) didn’t fall for it the way Devone wanted her to but there were bigger fish to fry. No point getting discouraged from a small fry. She closed her eyes, chuckling to herself not hiding that she was thinking over something before her hands returned to her side as she turned on her heel with a glance over her shoulder to spare a wave and parting message. “See you then, Kei…” Guess you can’t warn everybody Akira..

Upon arriving back at her cabin of solitude, she put on a white robe not getting changed out of her bikini quite yet as she stared out the window at the moon, reflecting on her mother before the thought was so emotional she wanted to puke. Devone coughed in the silence, flicking back her hair and headed away from the window. Being emotional… was just sickening. That stuff was best left for pigeons. Birds of a feather flock together.. and I don’t want to flock with yous heh.

Akira

She didn’t find anyone, but just before giving up she heard a commotion ahead and followed it. It took a minute or two to find, but sure enough it was the party. She wished she dressed a bit more feminine, but risking getting caught with alcohol and lying about her gender? She wasn’t that reckless. Akira showed up at the party on her own, but she didn’t look nervous at all. She strut her way towards the bonfire as she caught a glimpse of Devone who in turn brought her attention to Kei having caught the girl looking in his direction. Hmm, guess he was all talk the other day after all. Just how huge of a traitor are you Kei? Oh well, glad I figured out you're an absolute ass this early on. I don't quite care. her eyes landed on Sera and Silas. I hope he catches AIDS. I'll laugh at him.. She wasn’t going to let them dampen her mood. This was a party after all and Silas or no Silas, she was going to enjoy it.

She ignored their flirting oddly enough, which definitely wasn’t at all like her. Actually, for once, it didn’t even seem to visually affect her at all. It was her little secret, but against the recommendations on the bottle, Akira took a few medications in her bag that would help calm her attitude earlier that day, but they were just seriously kicking in. They weren’t specifically for her Anger management, but it seemed to be doing the trick. She reset her attention, assertively walking over and grabbing a beer, not bothering to wait for one to be offered to her. She wasted no time in popping it open and taking one long chug from it. If I’m going to have to watch this, it will require a beer. Wonder what I can get into.. she ran the possibilities through her head. I see he's having his fun, I’ll have a little of my own. She didn't even acknowledge Silas or getting jealous, but instead had a better idea.

She waltzed over to Devone, smiling kindly, Let’s play with fire, shall we? “You look extravagant as always Devone. I hope you’re enjoying yourself so far. Thought I'd come over, you looked a little too bored. ” She smiled, her phony sweet tone was evident, but the other girl really had nothing on her. Akira was just being polite as far as anyone else was concerned. She stood there, taking another drink. “Cheers?” she asked holding her beer bottle out in an overly-friendly manner towards a girl who was bent on wrecking her. It was obvious there was something up with Akira; she was being almost, just almost, genuinely kind to the other girl. I guess the right medication can make you sweet to anyone, but I’m hoping this is annoying her more than anything… I’d dance, but not with Kei. Maybe I’ll grab Varthur and make him feel a bit awkward. That would be fun.. Whether Devone accepted or not, she took another long swallow from her own bottle. This is going to be a very dramatic night. Good thing I came prepared. Her eyes were a bit different than they had been for the past few days. She seemed up to a challenge tonight, she was back to the Akira everyone was acquainted with last year. She was feeling highly competitive and not willing to lose. The alcohol in her hand was only making her feel more daring and flirty, though she was trying as well. Let's see your opinion of me after this Silas... and when it's all done, if it turns out bad.. I can just blame it on the alcohol. She sat down; stretching her arms out, deciding to bug Devone until a suitable candidate appeared. Maybe I could grab Bishop.. commemorate the fact we’re cool again on the dance floor.. Miami would looove that.. so many precious ideas..so little time.. she smirked against the tip of her beer bottle, finishing it off. One down.

"Thirty bucks says you're too chicken or too much of a tightwad to dance with Kei." she smirked at the black haired girl, (Devone) "Are you?"

“You look extravagant as always Devone. I hope you’re enjoying yourself so far. Thought I'd come over, you looked a little too bored. ” Devone lowered her beer bottle from her luscious rose red lips to stare at the brown haired senior girl who addressed her. Akira it turned out to be in her feminine form, smiling over at her as she said it but Devone was pretty sure the greeting was far from genuine. “Why thankyou dear for entertaining me all these years.. you sure can dance with my scenarios can you not?” Devone said maliciously yet her tone was sweet, a smile appearing mimicking that of Akira perfectly. “Cheers?” Akira held her beer bottle out, almost acting as if they were friends instead of enemies. It was odd but Devone assumed she had something to prove, that maybe she could tame that anger of hers. Nonetheless, she could roll with her punches with even better ones. Darling, I’ve been a pro at acting long before you turned yourself into a male. “Cheers!” Devone said, still smiling as their beer bottles clashed together. The most of the discussion that caught her eye was Akira chugging down her beer a bit too quickly for her taste. No flair.. honestly. She’s just asking to wake up hangover in a ditch somewhere.. Devone thought, shrugging her shoulders uncaringly as she took another small sip. Well if you make a fool of yourself, more entertainment for me. With all her business meetings and business partners who had a thing for drinking at important events and celebrations, Devone was almost unchanging even as alcohol circulated through her system. She had to be that way, otherwise the media would have something on her and business would be at its worst. Not that she even cared what people thought, her school reputation was proof of that but she did care how business went down. She wouldn’t shame her family name nor bankrupt her own account.

She watched carefully with hawk eyes as Akira sat down in the sand, stretching casually and finishing her first bottle of beer. Real charming.. she thought sarcastically. I see where your natural male behaviour gets you mistaken.. However if anything, Akira looked quite proud of herself for being able to have chugged it all down in such a short period of time. Well.. I won’t stop you. Devone thought as her eyes wandered to the moon shining above them, thoughts of her mother almost becoming as ardent as the burning flames flickering behind her. "Thirty bucks says you're too chicken or too much of a tightwad to dance with Kei." "Are you?" Akira smirked and Devone read the clear challenge in them. Silly girl, you can’t coax me to your will that easily.. least not as easily as I have always coaxed you. “Darling, you should know better.. I’m extravagant enough to have any man I want with this face kno?” Devone teased under suspicions that Akira should be insecure being compared to the likes of her when it came down to femineity. The beer bottle rim was playing against her lips as she spoke, calmly as if rehearsed. “And that’s much too cheap for my liking but since it’s a party, why don’t I bet you 30 thousand if you dance with Kei..hm?” Devone smirked devilishly, having turned the situation around. “Not bad, 30 thousand for a dance am I right? Any chicken would do it..” Oh how much she wanted to explode in laughter. “More than any chicken in cosplay would get paid for too kno?” she winked over at her 'friend' secretly before yelling over the crowd to grab Kei's attention. Let me help get you started. "Hey Kei!" she called out, waving with a smile and lightly linking her arm with Akira's. If she wanted to be friendly, two could play at that game. As they arrived in front of the male senior, Devone started talking on Akira's behalf acting as the bridge between the two. "Akira was just telling me all about you.. now don't be shy." she said, turning her head encouragingly to the girl and letting her arm go to make her own decisions and take action from there not expecting too much since the girl wasn't acting her usual violent self no matter how distasteful things were getting.

Akira

Akira laughed a bit, “What can I say? Ballet, and many other forms of dance are quite common in Europe. I guess I learnt naturally.” She shrugs at Devone, a smile forming across her lips. Sadly, even though you’re insulting me, I kind of like this relationship we have, sometimes. She laughed lightly when Devone played along with her antics. I guess you’re not a prude, all the time. Akira couldn’t help but grin, she could guess what the other girl was thinking about her. Akira overall was her normal goofy self, but the alcohol seemed to give her a mental reassurance. She’d only drank one, but that was enough for the girl to trick herself into more.. confident shoes. She watched Devone for a moment, closing her eyes afterwards. Tis’ a shame a beauty like you is such a prude. A downright shame it is. Under different circumstances, I believe I’d of actually liked girls like you. She’d spent many nights at school functions, sports celebrations, and just parties held by students. She wasn’t going to go down easily in this fight against the alcohol. She drank the first so quickly to get herself revved up. She opened one eye to look at the other girl. If you think you’re going to make a fool of me tonight, you’re dead wrong. She tilted her head, waiting for the girl’s response to her teasing remarks. Devone was always an interesting one to poke at, as long as you were alright with getting burnt now and then.

She was further amused by the way Devone seem repulsed with her gestures. Too pristine this one is, does she wear her stockings to bed? I don’t suppose she’d last a minute in a sports team. She smirked at her own thoughts, Devone on a sports team.. as if. The blessed Queen of England would get a tattoo first! God bless her. “I see, yeah, I’ll agree with you on that.” Akira wasn’t really all that affected by the other girl’s attack on her insecurities. After getting eyed by Silas when in a bikini earlier that day, she felt a little reassured about her own appearance. She decided to add a little fuel of her own to the fire, “Though, that personality you might want to bag up and toss, you even ran Kaien off. You sure are beautiful, I won’t lie to you, but you’re going to live a really lonely life if you treat everyone this way. Not that you care..” Akira crinkled her nose, stressing the last bit, knowing that Devone would mention something along those lines in retort, so she nipped that instantly. Ew, too serious, She shook her head to change her thoughts, tossing her bottle in a bin. Enough of that jazz, “Enough of that, this is a party after all. No more of that seriousness.” Oh? You think I won’t? Seriously, after a challenge like that? As much as I hate him, I never back down from a challenge. “You’re on..” she smirked at the other girl, “I, unlike you, am not a chicken.” She let the other girl drag her along. Shit, what am I saying? I don’t even want to look at him, let alone DANCE with him. She glared at Devone for a second, before smiling to her, then at Kei, “Oh don’t be silly Devone, I didn't say that much. Yes, I was telling my friend here I was a lovely dancer back in Britain, she didn’t believe me so I was simply stated I believed you’d be kind enough to help me demonstrate. Would you help me prove her wrong? Just one dance and I won’t bug you anymore, I promise. Pretty please, Kei? ” She asked as sweet as possible. She tilted her head cutely for good measure. She was used to doing such things at the café so it wasn’t too big of a deal to use what she’d learnt during ‘training’ on the battlefield. She proceeded in biting her bottom lip as she waited for an answer. I’m not letting you embarrass me. Though.. this act is so sweet I think I’m choking on it. God bless alcohol.

Though.. I can't say I expect him to help me.. why would he? He's been in cahoots with Devone. Though, asking is enough to prove I'm not chicken, who cares if I get turned down. I really don't want to dance with somebody who proceeded to stomp me in the dirt even after I apologized. I wasn't even talking to him. As far as I'm cocerned I've been asked to dance with the devil. Not that I won't put on a good show if he happens to say yes. Either way, you're just a civilian caught in our crossfire Kei. A casualty of war. Akira remained calm on the outside, though she wasn't sure if it was the medications or the alcohol she should thank for this, she blessed the alcohol once again.

Kei Takeda

Kei wasn't really sure what to do with himself at a party, in fact the only thing he could imagine himself doing was exactly what he was currently doing, nothing. He was standing near the fire drinking, sure it wasn't that bad, there was music and the fire felt nice but it was almost like he was the only person who had no clue what to do with themselves. The thought of dancing was one he couldn't quite grasp, first of all never having really danced before and secondly because he wouldn't know who to dance with. There was really nobody he could talk to in the immediate vicinity, nobody else he had acquainted himself with had arrived yet and Silas and Sera seemed busy, and he didn't want to interrupt whatever they had going, if they even knew themselves. So he just continued standing there, watching other people run around, dance, and do quite frankly some random things as things began to heat up. It was then that Kei went to take another sip of the beer in his hand and realized that in the time he was zoning out he had managed to finish it off without noticing. He shrugged, finding a nearby trashcan and walking over to it, tossing the glass bottle away before heading back over and grabbing himself another one, intent on taking the second drink more slowly and actually paying attention. He looked around the crowd again as more people seemed to be showing up, some of them he was pretty sure were just random people they didn't even go to school with at this point, although most of them seemed like fellow classmates and those from the lower grades. The new wave of people brought with it faces he recognized at last though, the first of which was Momo whom he saw was with another of the Junior's, Bishop if he wasn't mistaken. He seemed like a nice enough guy. Kei decided to let Momo have some fun with those of her same grade, figuring that she couldn't possibly have that much fun hanging around with a Senior all day and especially at a party, he would be no fun.

Then he noticed Devone, how he hadn't noticed her right off the bat he didn't know because she was definitely sticking out from the crowd. As opposed to the common theme of attire at the party, basically anything comfortable, Devone was wearing something more suited for a business meeting. Not that there was anything wrong with that, in fact she looked quite stunning, out of place but stunning. He was still a tad confused about what to make of her, he was torn between trying to actually get to know her as a fellow Senior or believing Akira without hesitation and keeping his distance. His confusion was only increased as he watched Akira approach Devone and although he was a bit too far off to hear what they were saying they looked quite friendly. The only thing he could think was that people were so damn confusing, how in the world was he supposed to know what was going on when one moment Akira was telling him that Devone was horrible and about all the things that the girl had done to her, and the next seeing them act all buddy buddy. Kei took a deep breath and let out a long frustrated sigh, taking a drink of his second beer. It was at that moment that he really decided, he had been trying to do this all along but finally he was set on no long believing rumors of any kind. If Devone was such a horrible person he would have to see it himself to believe it. Kei had been victim of rumors before and he was sure that some people still spread them about him now, so he should know better than most how rumors are usually baseless. Of course he had been inclined to simply believe Akira but at this moment Akira seemed to get along with Devone just fine.

As if that wasn't confusing enough Devone called out to him soon after Akira had gone over to her. "Hey Kei!" She seemed to be coming over in high spirits though so Kei simply smiled and waved back, watching as she came over with Akira in tow. "Akira was just telling me all about you.. now don't be shy." Kei couldn't help but think that couldn't be good. He really doubted that Akira told Devone anything good with all that happened on the bus and the way Akira had been acting towards him since. Thinking about it made Kei a bit mad honestly, Akira had been hurt because of Devone, apparently despised the girl yet she had talked to her so casually and they didn't seem like enemies right now. All he had done was gotten a bit mad, sure he acted like kind of an ass but he didn't do it to hurt her in any way and somehow that earned him the third degree. People... He just didn't understand them at all. “Oh don’t be silly Devone, I didn't say that much. Yes, I was telling my friend here I was a lovely dancer back in Britain, she didn’t believe me so I was simply stated I believed you’d be kind enough to help me demonstrate. Would you help me prove her wrong? Just one dance and I won’t bug you anymore, I promise. Pretty please, Kei?” Kei's head was almost hurting trying to figure out what in the hell was going on. Finally he just came to a decision, he was going to stay out of it entirely. "I really am a horrid dancer, I am afraid that your lovely dancing will simply be ruined if I am your partner. Besides, I think I will need a bit more of this before I willingly embarrass myself." He said with a slight chuckle, shaking the half empty bottle in his hand.

Devone had managed to catch Akira’s quick glare as they stood before Kei. It was simply amusing how much she was trying to grin and bear it. And once again, I easily pull your strings don’t I little puppet? “Oh don’t be silly Devone, I didn't say that much. Yes, I was telling my friend here I was a lovely dancer back in Britain, she didn’t believe me so I was simply stated I believed you’d be kind enough to help me demonstrate. Would you help me prove her wrong? Just one dance and I won’t bug you anymore, I promise. Pretty please, Kei? The made up story wasn’t so bad but what caught her eye was as she observed, Akira went a little further than necessary putting on quite a cutesy act in an attempt to persuade Kei to agree even after everything that had transpired before on the bus. It was apparent to at least Devone that Akira wasn’t in the slightest enjoying the scene with her and Kei as the girl bit her bottom lip awaiting the response to her ‘enthusiastic’ dance request. And to think you approached me just to get yourself in another uncomfortable situation.. My, how irrational. Devone thought quite pleased at the turn of events as she kept up her friendly composure and relaxed pose while the beer bottle dangled in her hand held up by the neck.

What was even more amusing was what came next. "I really am a horrid dancer, I am afraid that your lovely dancing will simply be ruined if I am your partner. Besides, I think I will need a bit more of this before I willingly embarrass myself." Kei politely declined the offer with a chuckle and his own identical beer bottle in hand to shake to emphasise what he was saying, already halfway empty.. or only halfway full. Devone’s eyes wandered from Akira to Kei wondering if the male had meant and wanted to excuse himself or if he was quite a dancer only too humble to realise or if there was more to it that she hadn’t quite thought of yet.. Well well, interesting move.. and so many reasons why.. but did I not hear you call her cute back at school? Yet you managed to resist that cutesy act she tried to throw at you.. hm. Devone stretched casually without losing her business composure as Akira started to talk.. stretching because she was well aware how the girl could drone on and on without pause. Almost every time she opened her mouth, a speech was delivered and in this case, she wasn’t mistaken at all. “You sir are missing out on ALL of the fun of being a senior." Devone’s eyes rolled to the side where Akira was standing, trying not to fall asleep as the girl talked just in case something interesting popped up that was worth the bore of the rest. "Look, there is no way I’m letting you skip dancing because of a reason like that!” Akira said grinning with spunk before suddenly reaching out and grabbing Kei’s hand. Oh my, what you would do for 30 thousand.. Devone thought, holding back her laughter from the desperation unfolding in front of her.

“I..” Akira bit her lip, looking up at Kei with pleading eyes. “Really wanted to dance with you.. just for a minute? I’ll teach you! We’ve got a lot of school dances ahead of us, right now is the perfect time, ne?” Devone nodded along though of course not convinced that was Akira’s true intentions at all after their little talk prior to approaching Kei. Akira didn’t stop at that though, pulling his hand a little and still trying to egg him to the sandy dance floor where students were abundant; Bodies were bumping, touching and with hardly any limitations after the alcohol had wiped their consciences temporarily clean. Many students were just living for tonight, just tonight but Devone knew better than that believing she lived for so much more than one night that could possibly ruin everything she had tried so hard to build. “ I guess I was wrong about him. You were right Devone, oh well.” Akira said with a stubborn pout on her face that reminded Devone of a pug. “Fine, but I'm not going to take no for an answer, you’re dancing with me once tonight. For now, I need another drink as well.” Akira seemed to demand before leaving her in Kei’s company. ” Though, that personality you might want to bag up and toss” huh? How.. ironic. Same applies to you dear, only difference is you do care and there’s no hiding that..no “Well I hope she’s okay..” Devone voiced, watching Akira leave feigning concern over her fellow senior before turning her attention back to Kei and taking another long sip of beer.

“Ah.. so..” She said as if trying to continue conversation without any awkward silences, flicking her hair back as her eyes narrowed into sadness, turning a little to stare deeply and nostalgically to the bonfire, letting her soft side show for a brief moment. Devone figured; acting was all well and fun but the real deal was a guarantee sale. There was no way her expression could fail to accomplish the ‘kind’ angle she was going for tonight as there was actual emotion and actual weight behind the usual cold eyes.. just this once for someone to see but also for some benefit of her own. She had done her research and her bidding finding guilt, power, unsolicited help and weakness to be the most effective in manipulating someone according to her will. So let my weakness be my strength when it comes to you.. Devone lifted her head to look at Kei again, snapping out of her daze. “Sorry, that was rude of me to stop midsentence but I was just thinking..” she paused to look down at her business pocket as her mobile started ringing with its default tone. Who could that possibly be at this time of night? “Can you hold this for a moment?” she asked Kei politely, handing her beer bottle to him. “I’m afraid I’m terrible at texting with just one hand, if you don’t mind of course?” she added as her smile returned, her other hand reaching for the expensive and showy swarovski decorated phone in her pocket.

The text was surprisingly from Akira; apparently the girl had more to say as it read:
-If you still want to see it, convince him into a few more beers throughout tonight. I’m definitely not done. I don’t pansy out of things.-

“My, how cute..” Devone mumbled as she moved to stand next to the tall senior she currently had all to herself. “Look at this, it’s about you.” Devone said with a closed eyes smile, leaning her weight a little lazily against his side as she held the phone out in front of him so he could read the text properly. “She really wants to show me her dancing as well as accomplish that with you..” Devone commented with a somewhat bubbly attitude as her eyes innocently opened up again for a glimpse of Kei’s reaction. Devone wasn't that intent on the two dancing together, it wasn't a matter of match making or anything as insignificant as that. She just wanted a show and with Akira's determination to go along with it, she certainly was watching one. Devone let out a light chuckle and leaned away from him to stand up on her own when she was sure he had finished reading. “I won’t force you into it.. it’s really up to you.” Devone said shrugging carefree, pocketing her mobile and ready to have her bottle of beer back in hand should he pass it.

Devone

Devone was feeling very relaxed as her act continued. It was almost happening involuntarily like impulse, second nature or a second layer of skin. She licked her lips almost tempted to hiss like a serpent as the idea of a ‘second layer of skin’ passed. There was no way things could go wrong tonight. She smiled and thanked Kei as the beer returned to hand, taking another light sip with her bottle nowhere near being finished. She’d take her time drinking to avoid losing herself like the others. Although she wasn’t weak to an alcohol’s effects compared to the average, she was still wary and would never overdo it. It was just plainly stupid in her eyes. She preferred to gamble with another person’s life and reputation than her own. "I really don't know why she wants to dance with me. To be totally honest it is confusing as hell how she went from not speaking to me to practically begging me for a dance. I just don't understand to be completely honest." Kei said shaking his head and her eyes almost lit up as bright as the bonfire. Naw… darling, you’re being straight forward with me already? Devone thought over pleasantly the more she revised it. She tapped the beer bottle’s rim against her lips faking thought.

“Well..” she started, lowering the bottle as she began ‘enlightening’ him. “I understand how it must seem in your shoes… with her anger dying down so quickly. I know personally and first hand that Akira is the type to hold a grudge. You’ve probably been aware of her own personal grudges against me.. I wouldn’t be surprised. Many rumours floating around..” Devone shared and it was true, but not for the sake of being true.. she had other purposes in mind for sharing that. “Honestly I’m pretty confused myself..” Devone added, pointing the top of the bottle to herself to emphasise what she was saying as a saddened expression surfaced. But no, Devone wasn’t confused. She had a few hypothesises in mind of why Akira was being the way she was. It had all started on the bus. The girl was probably feeling smug about that girl Mizuki listening to her more than Devone but it didn’t matter. It had been an experiment, a bit of gambling and she had lost nothing. She looked away for a moment, biting her lip acting as if the whole confusing situation affected her as much as it affected Kei. “Maybe it’s the alcohol working its magic… I don’t know but I’m hoping if I spend time with her tonight, she’ll remember a bit tomorrow of how nice I was and things will be okay between us.” She lied, shrugging her shoulders before taking a longer sip of her drink like talking about it was stressing her.

As she lowered the bottle again, she continued figuring that she hadn’t seized the full opportunity of answering his question yet. “I admit.. I was trying to do the same for you.” Devone said shyly avoiding eye contact. “She was looking for a dance partner and I suggested you. I wanted you two to make up as well after seeing you guys so close in English class the other day. I hope you don’t mind..? Akira seems to be after all really enthusiastic on her own at the idea as you've witnessed..” She asked, looking up at her fellow senior again wondering what was going through his mind. “I apologise if it’s really making you uncomfortable.. but I thought it would be nice if it worked out for you and me; being friends or at least on good terms with Akira again as apologising to her when she’s sober doesn’t work.. she’s a bit too aggressive and clingy to her grudges once made to listen..” Devone said pausing and allowing Kei room for thought as her eyes wandered to the crowd members. She eyed a particular couple dancing; Silas and Sera as Silas had become an object of interest in making Akira’s life a bit more miserable. Ha.. she’s not drinking to avoid jealousy is she? she pondered. Goodluck darling.. it’s hard to get over the friendzone and Sera is quite a catch. Devone looked back at Kei, smiling warmly. “I hope what I said hasn’t confused you more?”

Kei Takeda

Kei didn't really socialize much before so although he was making an effort now he was often times anything but subtle. That was currently the case with Devone, whether it was made worse by his confusion wasn't really important because regardless he just came right out and asked it. Luckily she didn't seem thrown off or anything of the sort, instead Devone seemed to genuinely ponder it. “Well..” Kei looked over to Devone and waited for what she was going to say, wondering if by chance she had some deep insight into what was going on in Akira's head. “I understand how it must seem in your shoes… with her anger dying down so quickly. I know personally and first hand that Akira is the type to hold a grudge. You’ve probably been aware of her own personal grudges against me.. I wouldn’t be surprised. Many rumours floating around..” If she keeps grudges for a long time it would be all the more reason to not be talking to me, doesn't help clear much up. “Honestly I’m pretty confused myself..” That makes two of us. Kei sighed to himself, not audible over the music and commotion around them but it represented exactly how he felt about the situation, tired. There had been too much to think about before this trip and adding on that Devone didn't seem as bad as Akira said, and Akira being pissed and then magically happy again really didn't help. “Maybe it’s the alcohol working its magic… I don’t know but I’m hoping if I spend time with her tonight, she’ll remember a bit tomorrow of how nice I was and things will be okay between us.” Ah yes, magic, makes more sense than Akira just being suddenly over what happened on the bus after the cold shoulder I have been given.

“I admit.. I was trying to do the same for you.” If only it could have ended there, if the oddities of the night could have been over, but that wasn't the case, nothing could ever be easy. No, Devone had to reveal more to make him wonder just what in the world was going on. Devone had a shy look on her face and even though he had come to think that maybe the girl he had heard of wasn't as bad as she was rumored to be, he still couldn't believe she was by any means shy. “She was looking for a dance partner and I suggested you. I wanted you two to make up as well after seeing you guys so close in English class the other day. I hope you don’t mind..? Akira seems to be after all really enthusiastic on her own at the idea as you've witnessed..” Kei hadn't been aware they had ever looked close, he had only spoken to Akira that time and it was mostly about her ordeal with Devone. He just stood there for a second trying to find a voice as if he had so many thoughts on his mind that he was overloading. "No, don't worry about it. I am just not too sure that is right, her being enthusiastic that is." Kei didn't want to sound like a downer but he didn't think it was that cut and dry, she was so mad earlier and Akira simply going from that to enthusiastic was impossible. Honestly he wasn't entirely sure why she had become so mad to begin with, the entire thing had been thrown out of control so quickly, one moment of losing his temper had caused all of it... It was unpleasant... I of all people should know what a bad temper can cause.

“I apologise if it’s really making you uncomfortable.. but I thought it would be nice if it worked out for you and me; being friends or at least on good terms with Akira again as apologising to her when she’s sober doesn’t work.. she’s a bit too aggressive and clingy to her grudges once made to listen..” “I hope what I said hasn’t confused you more?” Kei had been lost in thought and as had happened earlier his mind went to a very dark place in his past and it wasn't until Devone had spoke again that he came back. He looked over at her with a small smile. "There is no need to apologize, I am not uncomfortable and being more confused than I am would be very hard to accomplish. That's alright though, not everything is meant to be simple." He said with a slight chuckle. He looked out into the crowd as he continued to speak, "Besides, reap what you sow and all that. My fault for losing it on the bus." He saw Sera and Silas enjoying themselves as he looked around, dancing together and attracting the attention of eyes from all over, men and women alike looking at the two. I couldn't even dance regularly much less like that. Kei shook his head and turned back to Devone, "Anyways, forgetting all of that, thanks for the invite. I would probably be wandering around if you hadn't said anything." Yep, no more depressing anything, already too much of that on a regular basis.

Sera

"A game where we get to know each other… Intimately." Silas made it sound like something so much more fun than any drinking game she had ever heard of. Then again getting to know Silas intimately in any form sounded extremely appealing to Sera, she definitely wanted to get to know the sexy upperclassman better. She wanted to get to know Momo and the others better as well though and a game would no doubt require more than two players, most drinking games did. "Nothing explicit. Have you heard of Never Have I Ever? It's quite funny when you play it right." Nothing explicit, shame. Oh well, wouldn't be as fun if it was easy. "Never heard of it or had the pleasure of playing. Guess you will just have to show me how." She said with a slight smirk, her voice hinting at something more as always. "But we'll need more of that, and more players. Common'…" Sera nodded, "Of course." Sure I would have loved to have him all to myself tonight but this shall be entertaining, of that I am sure. As she followed him through the crowd she felt pretty damn happy for not being even tipsy yet, but that just meant it would get better as they drank and the game would no doubt help.

When they made it out of the crowd she found out who Silas was heading towards, Kei and Devone, an odd pairing. She assumed Kei was who Silas really wanted to join them, the two seemed to be becoming friends over the past few days, they all did, except Devone. I must say, it would be interested to see the quiet one drunk. Maybe he will become more lively. "JA BRUDER!" "You'll join us no?" Of course he will. "We're going to play a little game. In fact-" "This is the perfect place to sit! Wundervoll! Are you out of bier? Right! We must fix that…" Sera laughed a bit to herself, Silas was hyped and it was quite cute the way he was acting, not that it really meant much for him to be cute, she knew what kind of a wolf he was but it was funny. "Ah." "Why don't you play too, Sugar?" Sera's eyes shifted to Devone and she couldn't help but smirk remembering their first meeting. She loved messing with people like Devone, not because she particularly disliked them but because they always reacted in the best ways, especially if you managed to knock them off guard. "Don't worry, it's only a bit of harmless fun…" Yes, join us beautiful, we'll see how much fun you can take.

"Be right back~! Wait for me here, Ja? I'll only be a moment." Before much of anything could be said Silas took off and Sera shook her head, Wild and full of energy for sure. Not that she minded hanging out with Kei and Devone a bit, but she simply nodded to Kei with a small smile and winked at Devone hoping to piss her off a bit before turning around and looking elsewhere, for Momo specifically. And it didn't take long to find the cutie in the crowd Sera making a slight "Aww" as she saw how adorable her friend looked. She would come back to where Silas told her to wait that was for sure but she wanted to go say hello to her friend first, try and bring her into the games even if she chose soda over beer. As she approached her friend she quickly recognized the boy next to her as Bishop, a smile appearing on her face, Two more for the game...

In her own fashion Sera made an effort to sneak through the crowd and go around behind Momo, moving just a bit faster than her friend, feeling like a wolf going after a cute little helpless sheep. Then when the time was right she sprung, her arms wrapping around Momo and pulled her in as she laughed happily. "Hello cutie." She sang, hugging the girl for a moment before letting her go and walking around in front of her. She gave Momo a smile and looked over to Bishop waving to him as well. "Glad that you finally showed up Momo, have been wondering what happened to you, lost you on the way to the room. Anyways you're here now, so come on with me you two, the others are gathering over here." She was cheerful, mostly because the night was going well but also because with the addition of Momo things had just got better. So she walked back over to Kei and Devone, hoping Momo and Bishop would follow and then turned around with the smile, ready to see how Kei reacted to how cute his little Junior looked.

Kei Takeda

Kei was glad to see Silas heading over, not that he would have minded simply talking to Devone but it would be nice to have some fun and he was sure Silas had nothing but a good time in mind. "JA BRUDER!" Kei looked over at Silas and then to Sera and they both looked in good spirit, Silas of course being friendly as always. "You'll join us no?" I knew he would have something in mind, question is what is it. "We're going to play a little game. In fact-" "This is the perfect place to sit! Wundervoll! Are you out of bier? Right! We must fix that…" Kei took a moment to try and think how someone could be so excited and full of energy, it baffled him. Then again it did seem awfully like his new friend to be in a good mood, he had alcohol and him and Sera seemed to be having themselves one hell of a time. "Ah." Silas didn't really give Kei time to respond though, he went from asking him to join to moving his attention over to Devone, something that didn't strike Kei as normal. Silas was good friends with Akira, Kei figured he would be either wary of the woman or as confused as he was that they had seemed to make up if he had noticed. Regardless he invited her as well, "Why don't you play too, Sugar?" "Don't worry, it's only a bit of harmless fun…" I'll believe it is harmless when I see it for myself. Not that I don't trust you Silas but I have a feeling your idea of harmless is entirely different than most.

"Be right back~! Wait for me here, Ja? I'll only be a moment." Kei was already in it though, he had decided to make this night different from the rest and have as good a time as he could. That being said, despite the obvious risk of doing anything 'harmless' that Silas had in mind, he was going to let loose and just go with it. So he would wait, let Silas go and get whatever they needed for the game, he just hoped that Devone and possibly a few more joined them, the more people there were, the less the attention would be on him and the less likely he was to make himself look like a fool doing whatever it was that Silas wanted them to do. It was at this point he turned to Sera who seemed to be in a very good mood, and why not, her and Silas seemed to be getting along very well and a party seemed natural to the two of them. Suddenly she turned and began to look through the crowd. It was then Kei's began to think about Momo, wondering where the girl was and if she even knew about the party. Then again he wasn't sure anybody but Silas really knew about the party until it was started so that didn't really matter. He was still curious as to Momo's location, not only as a worried Senior but as a curious friend. Unfortunately he hadn't been a good friend or senior to the girl, he had been so self-centered. He would make it up to her though.

Soon enough Sera ran off though and Kei followed her with his eyes to see where she was going. It was quite a sight as well, she maneuvered herself through the crowd and finally came out and jumped something. That someone was none other than Momo and Sera was all over her, smothering the smaller girl in a hug. Kei smiled a bit before looking back over to Devone, leaving Sera and Momo to come over at their own pace, knowing at least Sera would and figuring Momo wouldn't say no to a game of any sort, although he wasn't quite sure he could see the small girl drinking. He looked at Devone, wondering if she would be staying, hoping she would, she had been nice to him all day and whether it was because she wasn't as bad as people said or for some other reason he didn't much care, he wanted to get to know her. Besides, Silas had invited her so it was alright for her to stay, then again depending on what Silas had in mind would probably decide who exactly stuck around. He just hoped it wasn't anything too bad, although he was sure only a select few of them would care come morning time, the rest would have gigantic headaches and fuzzy memories. He didn't like the silence though, so he decided to break it, "Any interest in sticking around and seeing what craziness Silas has in store?" he just went ahead and asked, no harm in doing so, besides, he wasn't quite sure what else they could talk about, he didn't know much about her but this wasn't the time to ask random get to know people questions, not at a party, it just didn't seem right.

Devone

She’s taking her sweet time.. Did Akira collapse already from the alcohol? Poor thing..
"No, don't worry about it. I am just not too sure that is right, her being enthusiastic that is."Even Kei calls your bluff Akira, can’t you act better? Devone thought but just smiled reassuringly on the exterior facet of herself. It was getting pretty boring quickly acting nice without Akira to get on the nerves on but she was more than certain it would pay off in the long run. "There is no need to apologize, I am not uncomfortable and being more confused than I am would be very hard to accomplish. That's alright though, not everything is meant to be simple." Kei said with a slight chuckle to which she simply nodded to show she was listening. Even Devone who had a knack for saying things to put people down was aware sometimes silence and saying nothing at all was the perfect way to go about things; you never knew when people would start rambling and spill out information about themselves to fill in the gaps. He looked away for a moment thoughtfully over the crowd of students as he continued to speak, "Besides, reap what you sow and all that. My fault for losing it on the bus." It left Devone smirking distinctively while he wasn’t looking. He was just so easy to get to know. Although Kei was obviously not the outgoing type to draw attention and boast, he was honest in everything he did end up sharing; thoughts, emotions.. leaving almost nothing for Devone to have to try to figure out.

Kei shook his head and her smirk faded quickly before he turned back to face her. "Anyways, forgetting all of that, thanks for the invite. I would probably be wandering around if you hadn't said anything." “Oh?” she said with a faked surprised expression, leaving a pause as if she was thinking it over. “You’re most welcome.” she responded with a smile and her beer bottle held out in the air in front of her to signal a cheers. “I’m glad you came, it’s not very often I am granted the opportunity to socialise with a classmate for this long..” The sentence was partly true, but said for the intention of seeking pity rather than being honest. She was painting a beautiful self portrait of a kind girl blessed with prestige who had been misjudged by her peers for who knows what reasons… jealousy? Surely, there’s nothing wrong about me.. she thought mischievously as her lips savoured a bit of alcohol in quiet celebration of the stage she had so craftily set up.

"JA BRUDER!" Silas approached with Sera close behind on his tail. He wore a grin displaying all his liveliness as he placed an arm around Kei, getting buddy-buddy. "You'll join us no?" He asked Kei specifically with no regard whatsoever to if he was interrupting an important discussion. Not that Devone minded, it gave her a break from acting as something she was not as she continued to sip her drink. Silas appeared to be ignoring her presence, pointing at Sera and continuing to go about the plans he had in store… something about a game. "This is the perfect place to sit! Wundervoll! Are you out of bier? Right! We must fix that…" Silas was pretty much bursting with joy as he laughed and Sera joined in but it was put on hold as soon as their eyes met. “Ah." Silas paused. Something the matter darling? Devone taunted in her mind as she lowered her beer bottle unthreatened. She knew Silas and what he was capable of. Not just from word of mouth but she had seen it in play. Everybody knew what a big flirt he was and how he moved from one girl to the next leaving a trail of broken hearts wherever he went. However Devone was confident she wouldn’t ever be fooled or caught in his web of good looks and charm; she didn’t give a damn for boys and love. She had diamonds, profit and a carefree existence. What more could a girl like her ask for? A bit of entertainment and Akira was the main event.

"Why don't you play too, Sugar?" Silas made the first move, attentively eyeing her formal wear and Devone was simply immovable in reaction. She was no stranger to being looked over and no matter how many times he looked; he wouldn’t be getting hold of any of it. Not the clothes, nor her; far too expensive. How sad.. like eyeing candy in a shop window. she thought egotistically, candy relating to her given nickname ‘sugar’. "Don't worry, it's only a bit of harmless fun…" he chipped in with a smile that had a devious look about it from her point of view. As he walked passed though, he gave a more personal talk that supported the hidden look she had somehow managed to grasp, "We're playing with information. Mm? The odds are in your favor. Certainly, you're not afraid to play with a idiot like me…" She fought back a snicker. Ha.. at least you’re smart enough to know you are one. "Be right back~! Wait for me here, Ja? I'll only be a moment." Silas concluded, returning to his lively self before leaving the three to themselves.

And you think you’re all that don’t you? Wait till you meet me.. Technically, I’m worse. She thought as he left their sight, flicked her hair back and returned her attention to the other two left in the group feeling quite smug at the interesting interactions occurring. First Akira being rather nice, Kei being readable and Silas being hospitable.. wasn’t she just lucky? More toys to mess around with.. what fun. she thought childishly as a smile reappeared on her face. Sera quickly made her leave, giving Kei a nod and managed a sneaky wink in Devone’s direction. Heh.. am I that irresistible tonight? her ego seemed to only inflate at all the attention she was receiving. Kei smiled over at her and she continued smiling back in the spirit of things. "Any interest in sticking around and seeing what craziness Silas has in store?" Devone chuckled staring down at her beer bottle that was almost empty from all the small sips she had taken in the duration of time. “Sure, why not?” she answered almost immediately. Whatever the game was that Silas had hinted would involve ’playing with information’ was just a barrel of laughs. Devone could always….lie. And do it convincingly.

Momo turned her head as Bishop smiled the closer they got to the party. The loud music was already ringing in her ears and frankly, she was feeling very nervous. She couldn’t see anyone else that she knew; not Sera, not Kei.. not even Akira or Silas which while not being the most pleasant of company, would still reassure her being people she could recognise at the very least. It was nerve racking stepping pass so many people.. strangers that were crowded tightly together to share the warmth of the bonfire and she felt so out of place. She was more than certain some were not students, just passerbys looking for a good time. “Ahh!!” Momo shrieked in surprise as she felt her weight shift backwards by force as a pair of arms wrapped around her, drawing her head closer to the person’s chest. Must be a girl.. she thought, feeling a little squished. The person laughed and it made Momo sigh realising it was just Sera and she was glad that it wasn’t some drunk, crazy person who was giving out free hugs without rational reason. "Hello cutie." her friend sang happily, lingering on the hug a moment longer. “Hello Sera~!” Momo seemed to sing back in the same amount of spirit, glad to have found her friend, or rather glad her friend found her in the confusing heap of people as she softly held onto Sera’s entwined hands in front of her neck before looking over to Bishop. Sera coming over had reminded her that she hadn’t seen Miami for a while since the bus. Was Bishop looking for her at the party?

Sera released her, walking to the front with a smile that Momo couldn’t help but return. It was so nice to have friends and it was nice to see those friends happy. Sera then turned to wave at Bishop for a second before looking back at her. "Glad that you finally showed up Momo, have been wondering what happened to you, lost you on the way to the room. Anyways you're here now, so come on with me you two, the others are gathering over here." Sera said without pause which Momo was very thankful for. Had Sera left it at the part about her being ‘lost’, she would be inclined to tell the truth.. about the bully who had been picking on her since elementary school. It was a very long story and she didn’t want to burden her friends. Looking back, she could understand Akira’s protective nature.. it was a bit overboard but the good intention was still there. Momo didn’t want to trouble someone like that, make someone worry so much that they overreacted to every little incident. Not everything was as obvious as it seemed.. like her dislike for Varthur.

Sera started walking ahead and Momo spared a glance over her shoulder at Bishop just to make sure he wasn’t feeling left out. He had his hands in pockets, following but quietly which left Momo concerned. Was he uncomfortable? Her worry quickly hopped out a window as he grabbed a bottle and drank from it so casually, her mouth wanting to fall right open to the ground. Whaat? she thought, a little surprised that he could drink when him and her were both minors. Etto.. his dad did supply it. Maybe it’s legal where they are from? she reasoned as she stopped staring to skip her way to Sera’s side having lost track for a bit assuming Bishop would catch up too. As she made it to Sera’s side, she was huffing a little. Not because she was tired but because it was claustrophobic having to skip her way through the continuously moving crowds. It was like an obstacle course and she really didn’t want to be left alone at a party so large in numbers. She wouldn’t know what to do. “Phew, I caught up with you!” she thought aloud as she stood by Sera’s side, a fist clenched in front of her chest along with a nod until her eyes wandered to who they had just joined. “Oh hi there Kei!” she said cheerfully, tilting her head as she looked at him before her eyes shifted to the black haired girl (Devone) standing alongside him. Etto.. that’s not Akira. “Hello…?” Momo greeted the other girl (Devone) not recalling if she ever heard her name. She straightened her head upright as she breathed on her fist feeling a little more than awkward. Unlike the others, she didn’t know this girl behind appearances and wasn’t sure what to say to break the ice.

Akira

Akira noticed the confused look on his face, unable to control her laughter, even though he did seem a bit worried. She tried to ignore it the best she could, feeling a bit bad now that she was perposefully worrying her best friend. However, the short haired brunette girl merely returnied his expression with one of her own, shrugging her shoulders innocently. She actually was not seeing the harm in her behavior with Devone. She didn't see the potential dangers at all, "I took some replacement medicine, actually she's making this a lot more fun for me." It was a lot better than watching you dance with leather bag over there. Don't worry about me hun, you weren't worried when it happened, so don't worry now. She smiled a bit at her thoughts, before poking at the blonde again, "Besides, that's why I've got a strong blonde guy friend, right?" she grinned back at him with another laugh before sticking her tongue out at him. I'd never ask you to protect me.. that would be just way too embarrassing. I'd never be able to look you in the eyes again, "Just kidding, Devone's my problem."

Akira wiped her eyes after getting tears of amusement from just how baffled she had Silas. Darling, you'll never understand me. You're complex as well, more like a rubix cube, but I'm a mood ring. I don't understand myself half of the time. She truly was acting this way on perpose. She didn't care. She wasn't drunk, but knowing she could blame her behavior on alcohol definitely made her feel a lot more comfortable with acting on her more embarrassing impulses that most likely wouldn't be released again for a long while. I might need to take a week off school after this. She felt the nervous knot in her stomach churn, but she tried to pay no mind to it.

Akira shrugged, tilting her head as she simulatinously quirked her eyebrow right back at him playfully, "Do you seriously think I'm going to protest? After those meds kicked in I don't care if I have to snog Devone, sounds pretty interesting if you ask me." She rolled her eyes back at him. This isn't going to work tonight.. I'm not letting you embarrass me without a fight. Not visably at least. I hope.. She'd never had her first kiss before, but she planned to play it off tonight like she'd played these games a million times before. She waited for him to say something else, ignoring his comment about her not getting bored. I bet a box fan would amuse me at this point of night. Wow, I may need to avoid alcohol while on these medications.. She went wide eyed, broken from her facade for a moment, looking down at the ground. How..did he know? Was that a guess? This is partly for myself.. sort of.. She chewed on her lip a few times, "Silas.. I have a lot to own up to, I at least should be fun for everyone." She retorted back in a lower, more calm tone. He hit a chord, even if it may have been accidental. She shook her head at him, looking up at him for a moment, "Well, Unlike someone else, I've no room to be myself and make enemies." she ruffled up her own hair this time, "I've got enough of those to go around three times.." Then she looked him in the eyes, throughly confused. Break which rules? She blushed a bit, twitching and shoving him again, only this time harder, "D-don't wink at me after saying something weird like that.. What do you mean by I can break the rules..?" she whispered back in an embarrassed tone, not wanting anyone to hear. UGH! Screw you! I was doing so well of being indfferent!

Akira rolled her eyes after he went back to being his old self. She crinkled her nose at first, but it faded quickly. Not worth it, that was weak this time.. the brunette smirked at him, "I never planned on backing out. I'm curious as to what type of drunk I categorize into." She didn't resort to violence this time. She knew he was waiting for it. In fact, she had a better idea once she noticed the same blonde boy (Bishop) as Silas had. Interesting. You could prove veeeery useful in my adventure for confidence around guys. The most unsuspecting practice dummy. Not to mention you kinda look like Silas.. she felt a blush tempted to creep upon her cheeks, so she turned her gaze back to Silas, "Alright, I want to see just how much our innocent duo has gotten into anyhow.. you're losing your touch or this medication is awesome Si~" and she calmly retreated to the group that had already been recruited, seeing as he was still recruiting more people. Where is Varthur? Akira wasn't even aware how close she was standing to Devone. She remained quiet, but she didn't let her nervousness show. She felt her heart beating fast, definitely needing a few more beers before she felt comfortable enough spilling to everyone, but she didn't want them to know that. Without these medicines I found in my bag.. I'd of been an open book.. hell, I'd be bloody crying by now.. She knew she'd regret her actions in the morning, but she was going to be returning to school as a girl soon, no big deal. If she embarrassed herself, a majority of the 'noboby' juniors wouldn't remember her anyhow. I have to embarrass myself if I want to work on my confidence. I have to keep doing it until it doesn't bother me as much.. I'm nothing like Sera, Silas or Devone.. I'm standing on the fence next to Varthur, Momo, and Bishop to be honest.. I want off this innocent bandwagon, even if it means kissing someone I'll regret in the morning, saying some embarrassing things, or dancing with someone I hate..

Kaoru

"I see. I guess I should be worried as well, my roommate is kind of scatterbrained. She possibly burnt down the house while I was gone.." The blue haired boy rubbed his temples, a expression of worry and doubt for the girl's safety crossing his face for a few moments before he looked back up to Varthur, "But we'll be with our families again soon, so for now, let's have fun." His grin once again returned to him. I just don't like those kinds of thoughts. I am going to make this guy laugh. He needs it. He blinked at the senior and nodded, shrugging his shoulders, "You're not unattractive. I shouldn't have to 'give' you girls if you keep that shirt off." He grinned at Varthur, " Girls really don't pay too much attention, and you're really skinny.." he poked at Varthur's sides for a moment, "You're going to attract at least one girl's eyes tonight." Kaoru nodded, his eyes determined at the senior. He wasn't really sure, but in his opinion Varthur wasn't unattractive, he was awkward in a kind of cute way. There had to be a girl at this school who liked that about him. It was impossible. There is just too many people for a girl to not see what a good guy he is.. I mean, he's been a good sport with me. Kaoru laughed a bit, following him out, "Heck yeah, let's do this." Kaoru chimed in an excited tone, "No worries. Everyone drinks at these kind of parties right. No one will be looking too cool." Kaoru crossed his arms behind his head as they made their way along, trying his best to pay attention and reply to Varthur, but had they not been walking, he'd of been bouncing with excitement. Girls,Girls,Drinking,Girls. I love highschool!

Kaoru blinked at all the people, biting his bottom lip as he felt a nervousness in his stomach. All of the guys were taller than him, a few girls here and there were shorter, for example, the pixie cut brunette who confused the hell out of him. Is she trying to be a guy? why would she want to? Girls have it so much easier. It kind of irritated him that a girl wouldn't appreciate being a girl. As much as he wanted to, he didn't really say anything about it. I don't know her.. Kaoru reach to steady Varthur, but he played it off as if he was merely patting the tall Senior's back, "Nice to meet you everyone.." He waved with his other hand, sweating a bit, but overall playing off his nervousness. I don't know any of these people.. then his eyes laid on her. He smirked a bit when he saw the girl. Ice Queen! (Devone) This'll be good, "I'm so glad you're here Ice Queen, now I know more than one person. How're you holding that bottle without freezing the beer inside it solid?" He teased lightly, though it was obvious he was merely taunting her, even if his statements were true. He sat down near Varthur, but not awkwardly close, "Kaoru Inoue, Junior.." he smiled sheepishly, a light blush across his cheeks as he properly introduced himself to the group. He blinked when he noticed two tall blonde males. Blondes in Japan? One looked rather naive and oblivious (Bishop), while the other looked...rather intimidating and overly-confident (Silas). Somehow this seems like it's going to end badly..

He noticed a tall brunette gazing over at him, raising a hand to wave at him (Kei), "Uhm. Hi." He laughed a bit awkwardly. What is he staring for? Is it because I'm so short? He shook it off, trying to not think on it, "Can we play too? We met a few obstacles so we were a bit late.."

Kaoru

Kaoru snickered genuinely, “That was a good one, Ice Queen. I guess you have a point.” He winked back. He found it fascinating that she could shoot comebacks at him so swiftly. She’s.. enjoyable. Kaoru thought to himself, chuckling a bit. She’s going to be one of the numerous entertaining things about this new school. He grinned innocently to the lengthy black haired girl (Devone), his eyes lighting up as he remembered something, possibly a challenge. “I never caught your name.” he reminded her, “Can I know now?” He tilted his head lop-sided abruptly, big sapphire eyes gazing over at her, anticipating her reaction. He was really good at exploiting his boyish appearance. He was used to using his young exterior on girls to break the ice. She seems to have her mind on something, does our little frozen rose (Devone) have some troubles as well? “What’s so interesting about the moon? The party is down here.” He chimed in a taunting voice.

Koaru blinked at the look (Silas) was giving him, fighting off the urge to scowl and ask him what his problem I know exactly what you’re thinking.. His eyes narrowed as he stared at the fire. Just because you’re enormous doesn’t mean you're making me nervous. He let out an extended sigh, closing his eyes for a moment. When he opened them he was back to fun-loving, hyper Kaoru. He had a problem with guys like (Silas). He already came across to him as confident, attractive, tall, and popular. He didn’t play well with guys like him. It felt like a competition already and to beat it all? He didn’t even catch the other guy’s name yet! Blondie, I’m not sure if I like you. He seemed to have a connection with Varthur, because he sent him a smile that somewhat resembled friendliness. I guess you could call it that.. I'm not so good at reading other guys. Kaoru moved his thoughts around to the rest of the group. His eyes halted for a moment when he caught a glimpse of pink. He looked over her, but tried to hide his disappointment. He didn't want to offend her after all. She was a cute pink haired girl (Momo) that resembled the one he met earlier, but it definitely wasn’t the same girl.(Miami) This one seemed much more shy and sweet. It kind of depressed him in a way, but he turned his attention to the cocky guy (Silas) again. (Bishop) Ah.. so it’s started already. He knew that the overconfident blonde was still giving him the stare down, but he overall ignored him. You’re not going to intimidate me, I know you're trying to express some sort of silly Alpha male dominance because you're a senior.. He smirked a bit to acknowledge that he could see him looking through his peripheral vision. He rolled his eyes as the blonde (Silas) ignored his question. Like that is going to hurt my feelings or gain an amusing reaction for you. Kaoru felt his lips twitch into a smile as he shook his head. Gotta do better than that. Are you the one feeling intimidated, or do I just interest you because I’m practically the shiny new toy in the third grade classroom? He wasn't exactly sure. This guy is like an enigma, or a rubix cube. His eyebrows raised at something the blonde (Silas) said, something he also agreed with. Hell yeah the girls can take off their shirts. His eyes shifted to the slightly shorter blonde (Bishop) Hmm.. he doesn’t look as sure of himself. Interesting. Total opposite ends of the spectrum these two are.

Kaoru blinked when the boy said his Never have I ever. What the hell does that mean? Is this some sort of code? He took a beer and cracked the lid off. He had never drunk a drop before now so he was kind of tentative about playing this game, but he took a swig hastily. He didn’t want anyone to realize his uncertainty. Immediately he felt the urge to wrinkle his nose. This is awful! Why are they drinking this crap!? He kept his facial expression as blank and calm as he could manage, but it was certainly clear on his face he was a first time drinker the instant he got a good taste of the beer. What is with this guy.. was it a joke I’ve not been clued in on? He looked around, face still confused. Did everyone else understand? He could help but find his mind wondering what the next question would be. Crap. I don't want to embarrass myself!! Am I going to turn out to be a lightweight drinker? His attention snapped to the slightly shorter blonde when the taller one (Silas) associated a name with the face unknowingly for Kaoru. So.. the shorter blonde's name is Bishop..
