Kei

The girl seated next to Kei was an interesting one, especially the way she (Keiko) approached the handshake as if it were the first one she had ever been a part of. Not that Kei was the most socially experienced person alive, not by a long shot, but being inexperienced shaking hands was interesting. Then again perhaps it was not as interesting as he thought, he wasn't sure where Keiko was from, though she looked Japanese, at least partially. Strange or not it was kind of cute in a newborn baby way, how the girl looked so curious and how she smiled afterwards. For someone like Kei who was use to being the one confused by social situations it was a bit of a relief. It allowed him to not think about whether or not he was doing it properly, because if not neither of them would know the difference. So he simply smiled back and listened to her rather odd introduction, once again finding it odd but not letting it show. “That’s a-alright, I’m pretty forgetful myself..” At least I won't be the only one. ”Keiko… I think my name is Keiko” Kei wasn't sure what the girl meant by she thought her name was Keiko but he wasn't about to pry into more personal stuff on the trip, he had involved himself in the affairs of others more than enough for one trip. ”Ahah…” Her laugh was awkward though which made it harder to simply make it seem like he hadn't noticed. Regardless he did his best and just remained silent, another small smile as she began to speak again. ”Yeah… Keiko… your name is ‘Kei’ and I got ‘Kei’ in the beginning too, how… bizarre.." "That's an interesting coincidence isn't it..." Kei wasn't exactly sure why is was bizarre, a lot of people had similar names, some even sharing the same Kanji, but if she found it bizarre who was he to disagree. "Nice to meet you Keiko." He continued on and didn't mention her slip up, feeling a sense of accomplishment at moving past the moment without alerting her to what seemed like an accident or slip up she hadn't intended. He was as stoic as ever so it didn't show on his face but a social victory, even if he only thought it a victory, was a rare occurrence in Kei's mind.

“Um… may I release now? Not sure the average amount of time that constitutes as a polite handshake..” Kei came back to from his little moment of victory and looked down, releasing his hand from Keiko's with a quick, "Sorry, they generally only last a couple of seconds if that." When they lasted longer it was generally awkward as it turned more into holding hands than a handshake. With Keiko's lack of knowledge on the subject it wasn't bad though, it was just fine. So Kei counted his blessings and leaned back into his chair a bit, getting comfortable and keeping one earphone out so he could hear and talk, not only to Sera or Momo, or whoever else wanted his attention, but to his new seatmate Keiko. In the spirit of that he turned to her, looking at the girl curiously for a moment and then finally speaking. "I haven't seen you before. Are you a Junior by chance?" Kei hoped he wasn't wrong about her grade, that would be more embarrassing than anything, showing how little he knew about those in his own grade. Not that it would be all that surprising when he thought about it, he wasn't exactly the guy to go to if you needed to know something about some classmates. It would also be interesting if she were a Junior, he could introduce her to Momo and Sera. Kei did chastise himself a moment later for thinking that, not that he couldn't or didn't want to introduce her to other Juniors, it was part of his responsibility to help those younger than him, but he didn't want to meddle. Besides, with the girl sitting next to him and in front of Sera and Momo it would eventually happen. Momo would probably become curious and be her friendly self or perhaps Sera would realize the girl was kind of cute and decide to investigate. Regardless he could keep his hands clean of it unless he had to do something, that would be for the best, a bit of peace on the end of the trip. Yes, between making Akira mad and telling Devone to talk to him if she needed to he would most likely find himself in hot water before long. He just had to pick those two people to get involved with, as if they weren't volatile enough.

Keiko Misao

Keiko knew she wasn’t getting off to the best possible start in socialising with other teenagers but she was trying her best in the end. She had spoken to two people today being Aeon her senior and her seatmate on the bus being Kei which was a vast improvement from speaking to hardly anyone but doctors about a past she couldn’t remember. "That's an interesting coincidence isn't it..." Her eyes gleamed with such childish delight at the agreement she received even though it was over such a trivial matter. Considering she had been ignored a few times and could barely keep up with her senior, it felt like a worthy accomplishment to have someone agree with her in some way, no matter how minor and simple. "Nice to meet you Keiko." “Ah wah thank you!” she bowed formally and twice repetitively a little overwhelmed at such kind words at a first meeting. Aeon had definitely not been as welcoming as Kei but she wasn’t going to compare and complain, people were different in her eyes for sure. She could barely understand herself and her own differences but she was sure of it. As the handshake remained intact, she noticed he had rough but sturdy hands though instead of being intimidated, she was a little intrigued to how strong Kei really was. Keiko had pictured strong people much differently after all the tv shows she had watched but Kei was not like them when it came to attitude and behaviour. A gentleman fighter..? she thought, her lips pursing the shape of her thoughts unconsciously yet again almost like a gold fish. Keiko could be very odd but that was due to the fact she didn’t feel like herself or even know herself.

Keiko’s thought bubbles popped as Kei released his hand from her grip continuing on with an apology, "Sorry, they generally only last a couple of seconds if that." ”Oh we went over the time limit.. Keiko apologises dearly!” she said, bowing her head again once in respect not knowing she was overreacting over another trivial matter. As her head lifted up, she quickly put on a smile as if she was ready to take on the world. ”Keiko will remember that! Mhm hm!” she said enthusiastically with an expressive nod, the gleam in her eyes returning like a lit up candle until Kei dropped her a question to think about. "I haven't seen you before. Are you a Junior by chance?" Keiko stopped facing Kei and leaned back on her chair pausing for a moment. It was an easy question but her amnesia did make it hard to process information sometimes. “Y-y-es.. that’s it. I’m a junior.. just started high school.” Keiko accidentally pointed out the obvious without realising as her index fingers poked together wondering if being a junior was why people like Aeon weren’t taking her seriously. If that was the case, there was nothing she could do about her grade unless she miraculously got moved up ahead of her age but then she wasn’t even sure what she wanted from high school. Keiko only knew it was a stage of her life that she had to complete called ‘receiving education’.

Her eyes looked around at the other students a little impatiently. As happy as she was to meet people, she was also eager to get off the bus as motion sickness was likely when in a travelling vehicle for a long amount of time and she didn’t even know how long the trip was going to be. All she knew was on the way to the beach, she was lost in her book which had turned out to be a bad idea as she was starting to feel motion sickness from focusing on the page of a book while moving about. This time though, she was definitely not going to be doing any long reading having learned her lesson before already on the trip there. As her brown eyes settled on the floor, she noticed there was something in the middle of the aisle not far from where she was seated but it was still hard to see what it was unless she got closer. Keiko waited for Kei’s responses before excusing herself, getting up from her seat and fidgeting with the curious object she had discovered. It was a family portrait of a woman, a man and a boy. Immediately Keiko felt sad as she didn’t know her family and whomever the boy was, he was very fortunate compared to her. She really wish she knew but the more she tried to force the answers in her head, the more it hurt to try to remember and she was gaining nothing in return. Sighing, she looked about the bus for a boy that matched the photo which proved to be not difficult as the redhead (Jonathan) appeared to be seated to someone she was already acquainted with even if briefly; Aeon. Keiko walked towards the boy’s (Jonathan) seat and bent down slightly to hand over the photo to whom she thought it belonged to with a sweet smile that seemed suitable to the moment but was actually her disguise for the grief of not having a family to even call family. “I think this is yours classmate?” she said, placing it on his lap and avoiding the gaze of her senior (Aeon). She wasn’t scared of her senior but she knew well enough he didn’t like being bothered. He (Aeon) was also wearing earphones so maybe he hadn’t noticed she had dropped by to begin with.

Keiko

Keiko had noticed the classmate (Jonathan) was reading and felt a little down that she had disturbed him. She knew she didn’t like being disturbed when she herself was reading but she had already placed the photo down before realising, not wanting to stand in the aisle too long in case the bus drove off while she was still standing and not in her seat. “Yes, but where did you find this, did it fall to the ground?" The red head (Jonathan) rushed in hiding the picture away in the book he was reading and plopped it in his bag making Keiko a tad bit curious. She had expected the boy (Jonathan) to continue reading but it appeared his interest in his book had subsided for the moment. ”Ah..yes, it fell.. right here!” She accurately pinpointed the spot she had found the photo by crouching and pointing her finger to where she had picked it up before skipping back to the boy she had helped. ”Did you see, did you see?” She asked, energetically like a child with her hands clapping together with a slight bounce before they entwined in front of her chest.

"Anyways, thank you for finding it to me." Keiko’s lips tugged into a small smile as the boy (Jonathan) flashed a smile her way before looking away making her think it was time to return to her seat. She was happy though, she had talked to three people today. She was on a roll of meeting people her age despite not doing much while at the beach. She brushed back her hair behind her ear, side glancing in her senior’s direction who was still lost in his own world of music. It must be lonely, yet he refuses to open up to people. I wonder why.. "By the way, name's Jonathan. And you are...?" Keiko blinked, her finger poking the middle of her chest a little confused. “Who is.. me?” She asked, her face going blank for a few seconds as she pondered the question herself. “Ah, Keiko!” She quickly gave out her name with a slight head bow as if to apologise for her delay in answering. “Keiko… Jonathan.. Keiko, I will remember that.” She muttered to herself still head bowing until the teacher got onto the bus startling her as she stayed by in the aisle, feeling as if all the wrath was directed to her compared to the other classmates sitting down and having the seat in front of them act as a barrier. Erghhheh! Incoherent babble entered Keiko’s mind as her hair became less lively and bouncy to a flatter look when the teachers’ spat was over. She had no idea there was a party last night and it made her sad that nobody had invited her but she understood why no one would. Keiko had kept to herself until today, all because of a bag, a seat position and now a photograph. Keiko rubbed her head as if she had received a beating with pouty lips that quickly transitioned to a smile as she decided to get moving before the bus was crowded with moving people for the new arrangement. “Bai bai Johnathan, see you again.” She said cheerfully with closed eyes then mumbling a quiet bye to her senior Aeon too even though she knew he wouldn’t hear it before stopping by her old seat mate. (Kei)

“Hiya, it’s a shame.. but I’ll see you around Kei-k” She said bowing her head cheerfully then paused realising her error in addressing the guy’s name when pronouncing it like ‘cake’. “Cake…” she mumbled as if caught in a trance before her head started to hurt and her hand grasped the top of her head, the intense pain causing her eyes to become watery. She lost her balance, falling onto the ground with her legs sprawled out to the side trying to ignore what the other students were saying. Nobody could understand what it was like for her to lose her memories and have them come back to her in brief painful flashes to the point it was becoming a normal occurence. When the flash ended, she opened her eyes as if nothing had happened, took out a notebook from her bag on the seat and wrote down the keyword ‘cake’ with a girly pen that dangled a pink diamond that flung around as she wrote, at least one step closer to remembering something important.

Kei

The girl sitting next to Kei had been as odd socially as he was and it was nice, but as she seemed to go off on her own little adventure he simply turned and stared out the window, leaning back and relaxing a bit. He liked meeting new people, Keiko definitely being interesting in many ways and he was sure as the year went on he would make plenty of friends and meet quite a few interesting people. His peace didn't last long though, Ms. Roselle's voice ringing out. “Alright you lot!” He had learned over the years that she was never in a good mood and she rarely spoke without it being about some sort of punishment or hellishly boring lesson plan. “Drinking I hear… Late night partying is it? Was it fun?” [i]Of course she was the one who had to find out, this isn't going to be pretty.[i] “I should give you all a well-deserved 5 HOURS DETENTION or a PERMANENT SUSPENSION from Airdalen but because of my—“ The punishment she mentioned at first gave Kei pause, he knew what that would mean, a permanent suspension was an expulsion and he couldn't have that. Luckily for Kei and all those involved with the party Mr. Drone stepped in to save the day, even if he had thrown himself right in front of Ms. Roselle's rage. He took a long deep breath and waited for the final verdict, whether his intervention would be enough to save them all or if they were all still in her cross-hairs anyways. “Fine then.. bus arrangement.” Kei let out a miniature sigh, that sounded better than any of the alternatives and he could live with moving seats, no matter who he was assigned to sit next to. Besides, it was only a drive and it wasn't like he knew Keiko well yet anyways, or really at all.

“We’ll have to do this in alphabetical order then.. and from now on in Mr. Drone’s classes and mine.. you will also be paired up in alphabetical order AND be seated in alphabetical order. No buts no ifs and no bloody exceptions.. you’re fortunate this will not be included on your school record though we may have it reported at the very least to your parents.” She made it sound like sitting in alphabetical order was a horrible punishment, to him it was nothing and as long as they didn't drive in circles for some obscene amount of time he would be fine. He could simply sleep anyways, as he figured most of them would do, especially after the nights festivities. To top it off the part about his mother being called didn't matter to him, as long as she didn't hear of something horrible she wouldn't care, and a party was nothing. So as far as that part was concerned it was nothing, at least not for him, though he figured others may have a different opinion on that particular thing. Takeda and Trander “Hiya, it’s a shame.. but I’ll see you around Kei-k” Kei's attention left the new seating arrangement as Keiko addressed him and he smiled, her oddness not changing but it was almost charming. Hearing his name pronounced like cake made him chuckle slightly, though seconds later when she went down he got up and reached down only to find her standing moments later and going to write something in a notebook. "Keiko..." He muttered, she seemed to be in some sort of trance, not paying attention to him or anyone else. He was incredibly concerned about the little incident and while he wanted to ask her if she was alright he wasn't exactly sure what happened and she didn't seem to be paying any mind. "Uh, if you need anything don't hesitate to come to my seat..." He spoke finally, moving away from the seat but looking back with a concerned expression. When he sat down in his new seat it took him a moment to move from thinking about Keiko and the odd happening and to his new seat partner, looking over at the man next to him to realize it was Bishop. "Hey Bishop." He said with a quick nod, not being rude but still being slightly occupied and finding himself zoning out a bit past the general greeting, though Bishop wouldn't be a bad person to talk to, or someone to sit next to seeing as he could probably catch some sleep if it came down to it, not fearing drama next to the Junior.

Bishop Trander

Bishop watched Devone without a word, letting out a quiet sigh of relief. He frowned watching her go though, wondering if at all he had done something. He had only heard murmurings of bad things about her, but no one directly told him any said rumors about the girl. He just knew her as Devone, the girl that had found fascinating when he was younger and wanted to know almost everything about. So he was a bit biased to forgive the girl far more than a great deal of people.

His mind was shaken off of his current thoughts when Kei approached him, and sat down. "Hey Bishop." <Oh!! He's Takeda... Ok, well this isn't bad at all!>. The young lad perked up, and sat back down looking to the senior (Kei) as he settled in. "Hey, Kei..... How's it goin?" Conversation was a little awkward since he only formerly met him (Kei) once before during the school picnic on the first day and that was short lived. Bishop adjusted his pack by his shoulder and leaned against it to get comfortable looking back to Kei. He hoped that the bus would take off soon, as of now Bishop just wanted some food put into him then to take a nice long nap. But he was a bit keen to talk to the person, Momo seemed to take a liking to him so he assumed that Kei was a good guy. Tough looking, but he had grown up around tough looking people his life so that didn't mean a whole lot unless you got on their bad side.

Bishop sat up a bit seeing everyone adjusting to their new seats. He noticed that it was a lot quieter now, he could imagine that some people had to sit with others that they didn't care for very much or other sticky situations like that. He felt lucky to sit with someone that he at least knew partially. With a tired yawn the blonde sat back down, and reclined back in his bus seat glancing out through the window of the bus. "Come on let's go already...." He mumbled in English his stomach getting the best of him.

Akira

Akira smiled warmly when she noticed the girl who obvious was Misao. She held her hand out to the other girl, grinning like a goofball. She obviously was in a much better mood than the past two days.. However the reason for her higher spirits was a little unclear, "Nice to meet you Misao-chan." She smiled. Her accent was a bit off. Although she did have a few of the physical characteristics, it was clear she was not born in japan, "Sorry if that was embarrassing. I just love meeting new people." She replied with a sheepish laughter. She really didn't think her actions through, but she pull all eyes on the other girl. It was pretty rude when she thought back on it. Oh well, she doesn't seem traumatized.. so I guess it wasn't that terrible for her. We'll get over it then. She comforted herself before looking out the window for a moment, then back to Keiko, "Miyuu. Akira by the way. Though you can call me Akira if you want to.. I don't mind." She sweatdropped with nervous laughter. She almost forgot to supply her own name, "I haven't seen you around before.. are you a junior?" she asked curiously, brown eyes looking over the other girl. They had a lot of simular traits.. brown hair, brown eyes.. it was kind of weird. Though she shook it off. They really didn't have much else in common.. Her hair was long while Akira's own was short as a boy's. This girl looked completely feminine.. while she on the other hand looked ridiculous in makeup, at least she thought so anyhow.

Akira noticed her behavior and put her hand on the other girl's shoulder, "I don't know who your senior is.. but if you ever need anything.. you can call me if you like." and she offered her hand out, "I'll put it in your phone...you have one..right?" she asked tilting her head. Shit. What if she doesn't? Then you were completely inconsiderate and rude.. She bit her lip for a moment before continuing, "It's just..that look on your face.." she trailed off, "I know the feeling.. So how about we be friends? We can keep eachother from feeling that way.." She smiled assuringly to her. She's a lot like me.. the look on her face.. it's so sad and lonely.. I wonder why.. Akira then pulled a box out of her bag, tearing it open then offering it to Keiko, shaking it slightly, "Pocky? It's strawberry flavor~." she asked with a friendly smile and a pleasant chime to her tone. She wanted to make this girl feel more comfortable. She looked like she was so...lost. Hell, why not.. if I can't help myself.. I might as well see if I can help her. Though I wonder if I should actually be doing this.. will people treat her poorly for befriending me? Will it put her in danger with Devone? Would Devone lash out at a girl like her? Akira ran her free hand through her hair with a sigh. I'm going to have grey hair before I graduate if I keep thinking so much. Then she peered over at the seats around her. Infront of her was Yomi and Varthur. After giving Keiko time to take one of the strawberry covered buscuit sticks, she reach up and tapped Yomi on the shoulder, "Oi, I saw you last night and that was no place for an introduction, I'm Miyuu, Akira. Though you can call me Akira if you want to." She replied brightly, ignoring the bad vibes she recieved from Varthur before the seating changes, then she offered the box of pocky to Yumi, "Want a piece?" she grinned childishly.

Akira then turned back to Keiko, "We can share what's left afterwards." she winked at her playfully. To those who knew her, Akira's picture was definitely next to the word bipolar in the dictionary.. her anger issues caused her fuse to be.. irrationally short.. though she could be extremely sweet when she tried hard enough. She eventually turned to the seats behind her, noticing Bishop and Kei. Kei.. Her eyes widened and she zoned out for a bit. She'd acted pretty shallow the night before.. pretending to not be angry with him anymore to win a bet with Devone.. She broke away from her thoughts however when she noticed she'd been facing them for almost an entire minute without saying a word. She shook her head to be sure she wouldn't get lost in thought again before holding the box of pocky to them this time, "Want some?" she asked laughing nervously, "That's a bit embarrassing.. I didn't mean to gaze off into space like that.." she felt her cheeks heat up, "Sorry about that." Her brown eyes lingered on Bishop for a moment as she waited for them to respond or take a piece, but they would glance at Kei every now and then. She didn't want to forgive him, she wanted to hang onto the grudge, but it was becoming harder to cling on the grudge the more she was exposed to him. She didn't have any friends anymore except Silas. Sure she was trying to befriend Yumi and Keiko, but she didn't have them yet.. and Varthur was mad at her for some reason she still wasn't certain about. Honestly it was getting on her nerves. Who is he to be the nice guy when he has a right to be mad at me then a total prick when I can't even think of a reason he should be mad at me at all!? On the bus.. he had every right.. but why'd he get mad at the party..? She shook her head blinking when she felt the box of pocky slip from her fingers, catching the box of pocky at the last second, "Whew, that was close." she was blushing much darker now, "I need to pay more attention to what I'm doing.."

Keiko Misao

I want to go home.. even if it's lonely at home.
Keiko decided on her own, in her little head where she was granted privacy compared to sitting on board a cramped bus full of noisy classmates. Not to say that she was grumpy, just uncomfortable for the time being. She was still happy to have met people but she wouldn't preferred to socialise in a much more relaxing and less tense atmosphere though little did she know, for most other classmates, this was a less tense atmosphere. Keiko would've preferred socialising in a small club with shared common interests or inviting someone over her apartment, class maybe since it was more organised and there was more space as well as a limit to how many people there were in attendance sharing a single room. However, this excursion had been compulsory and she didn't want to have faked sick and lie just to miss it. Even if she didn't contain her memories or recall who she was, at the very least this experience could serve as a new beginning to becoming better, someone more honest perhaps.

"Miyuu. Akira by the way. Though you can call me Akira if you want to.. I don't mind."
The girl named Akira seated beside her introduced herself seemingly nervous but Keiko didn't understand why she would be. If anyone, Keiko believed she should be the nervous one.
"I haven't seen you around before.. are you a junior?"
Keiko nodded complacently, distracted momentarily by her own thoughts before managing to place a little smile across her lips as she stared back. Akira appeared to be analyzing her as Keiko noticed the girl's eyes move from her hair and back to her eyes. As the girl Akira observed her though, she also ended up analyzing her seat mate back without the intention to do so. Wow Keiko stopped staring as Akira did, feeling a light weight placed on her shoulder only to turn her head slightly and find it was Akira's hand plopped upon it.
"I don't know who your senior is.. but if you ever need anything.. you can call me if you like." "I'll put it in your phone...you have one..right?"
Keiko nodded, the same nod as before as she shuffled through the items in her bag though her mind was tumbling through questions like why this girl Akira was acting so nice to her. Is it because she noticed the same things Keiko did, their similarity in looks? Keiko hummed a little tune as she located her phone successfully and handed it to Akira without a second thought. Although Keiko questioned people, she was willing to believe in people quite easily and maybe part of that was because she couldn't really recall a negative experience besides a feeling of alienation, being different and not associated with everyone. Besides that though, she was fine. She wasn't being picked on or bullied, or targeted in some way so she wasn't afraid of getting to know anyone or place her trust in their hands.

"It's just..that look on your face.." "I know the feeling.. So how about we be friends? We can keep each other from feeling that way.."
Akira said with a soft smile that made Keiko's eyes widen. She wasn't sure if the girl really understood what she was feeling as it was a very sudden thing to say to someone you just met but then again, Keiko also knew she had started a tendency to observe people, and hope to find similarities with them. Maybe Akira was trying to do the same too?
It was a really big question, whether she was understood or not. It was a nice feeling though that someone was trying to, even if it was a random bus seatmate.
At the sound of something jingling about in a box, Keiko turned her attention back to reality to find a box positioned in front of her held by Akira.
"Pocky? It's strawberry flavor~."
"I don't know if..." Keiko started, about to say she didn't know if she liked that flavour but instead of continuing on, slowly pinched two fingers in like chopsticks to grab a biscuit stick that was covered in pink for the most part which she assumed was the flavouring. Keiko nibbled the top of the stick curiously like a mouse to find that it tasted really good, the so called pocky being devoured in a second afterwards and missing out on the discussion between Akira and those seated in front of her because she was distracted by the fondness of the snack that she had to write it down in her notebook to buy some more in the future, hopefully on her way home.

"We can share what's left afterwards." Akira winked over at her as Keiko mimicked the gesture slowly, trying to copy it to the exact detail. As she wasn't usually the winking type, it felt like an experiment or a baby copying a parent. It was really that foreign a gesture for her to do. Keiko had managed to notice that Akira was staring at Kei her previous seat mate for quite a while before offering some pocky to the boys (Bishop and Kei) too. How generous... Keiko noted, finding the snack pretty delectable that she wasn't even sure she'd share if she owned a box or two.. or more.
"That's a bit embarrassing.. I didn't mean to gaze off into space like that..""Sorry about that."
Keiko watched as Akira's face glowed red and it was apparent it was because she had stared at Kei for so long which made Keiko look over at Kei too to try to understand the reason. It was obvious the two knew each other but there was some kind of unexplained tension hanging between them that Keiko couldn't comprehend yet. Maybe later? she reassured herself as she stared over at the blonde boy (Bishop) seated besides Kei.
"Hello..."
Keiko murmured over to the blonde (Bishop), wondering if any of the boys could hear her or Akira's voice would overwhelm her at any moment since the girl was a lot more lively and was more well acquainted with them. After practising how to wink a little earlier, Keiko thought she'd try it out and winked at the blonde (Bishop) since the gesture seemed to work well on Akira and make her look cute, Keiko wanted to try it too. Although her expression changed in an instant as the box of pocky almost fell to the ground.
"Wahhh!"
Keiko had shrieked in a panic as if her life depended on it, only to sigh with great relief as the box was caught. That would have been such a waste of a delicious snack! Her cheeks puffed up at the outrageous thought.

Kei

"Hey, Kei..... How's it goin?" Kei shrugged, "Fine, ready to get back and still a bit worn from last night." He wasn't exactly looking to strike up a lengthy conversation but he wasn't going to be rude, Bishop wasn't a bad guy. Of course he was a bit exhausted, or more precisely still a bit hungover even after his sleep and breakfast, though it wasn't as bad as it was when he woke. That being said part of him wanted to ignore everything around him, including his new seatmate, and just get some additional shuteye, his sleep not being that bad but limited by its location and with the night they had all had it was hard to feel ready for more without a bit more recuperation. Even with boxing he got to eat well and a full nights sleep in a comfortable bed, even if he was physically tired. "Want some?" When Akira's voice rang in his ears Kei felt a tad reinvigorated, turning to see if she was really talking to him of his own accord. The fact that she was made him wonder if she wasn't as mad at him because of the bus incident, if she had cooled down a bit. Regardless he was glad that she was looking at him without a sour expression, much less talking to him. Of course something was still off, not just on her end but on his, he didn't feel as excited as he would have been several days ago, whether it be because of his current state or just the past day he wasn't sure. He still wanted to get to know her though and talking, whether it be nothing special or not, was progress to getting back on that path. "That's a bit embarrassing.. I didn't mean to gaze off into space like that.." The tension was slightly broken with some of Akira's nonsensical talk, saying something he had no clue about and then blushing, it was as cute as ever in an awkward almost odd way.

"Sorry about that." Kei didn't say anything, he still wasn't sure what she had done so he ignored it and reached forward, taking a single one of the offered snack. He wasn't a big fan but he just wanted to take one to be polite and keep the ball rolling in terms of talking to Akira, even if his response was only a, "Thank you." He gave a small smile, though it changed to surprise when the box slipped from Akira's hand and he thought about reaching out and grabbing it but Akira was quick enough and beat him to it. "Whew, that was close." The deeper blush and her continue Akira like personality, at least the good side of it, almost made him laugh but he didn't want it to be misconstrued and cause another blowout so he held it back, and continued to hold back by only giving a friendly smile to her next comment. "I need to pay more attention to what I'm doing.." It was all made easier with Keiko's outburst when Akira almost dropped the box. He just finished his bit of the snack and looked over to Keiko, she was still as strange as ever but it was an interesting and nice kind of strange. "Looks like we didn't move that far apart." He turned to Akira after that and gave a final, "Thank you for the snack." Before turning back around, he wasn't being rude but he couldn't just strike up a conversation and instead he got comfortable in his seat, not closing his eyes or trying to go to sleep but letting himself zone out a bit, waiting for either something else to happen or for them to reach their destination, though he hoped it was the latter, he was ready to get back and let things settle down.

Bishop Trander

"Fine, ready to get back and still a bit worn from last night." Bishop smiled softly and nodded understandingly. He noticed that Kei looked especially tired as himself, so there was a mutual want to get some rest between the two. Bishop adjusted his posture against the window of the bus to get comfortable and sighed in the process about to get comfortable. But a swish of brown hair caught his eye, and he turned to see the senior Akira starring at.... Him? Someone behind him? He just sat there, his eyes wide now feeling a little bit awkward. He could have sworn one of those branch ball thingy's you see in westerned rolled by in the process. And true to Akira's nature, she snapped out of the possible starring contest and handed out a pink box of pocky. "Want some?" "Hmm? Uhh, sure yeah." "That's a bit embarrassing.. I didn't mean to gaze off into space like that.. Sorry about that." Bishop laughed a tiny bit, noticing Kei was quiet for this certain interaction. "It's no problem... Thank you Akira." He was kind and gentle as always.

"Hello..." Bishop turned to the gentle voice that spoke to him, finding the source came from the girl sitting beside Akira. He smiled in his usual kind way making eye contact with the new girl (Keiko). "Hi, how are you?" "Wahhh!" Bishop jumped at the girlish squeal, and noticed Akira's new firm grip on the box. "Whew, that was close. I need to pay more attention to what I'm doing.." Bishop sweatdropped along with the senior (Akira), but he maintained a smile. "Crisis averted right? Hehe..." He took a bite of the pocky then blinked realizing it was strawberry flavored. His eyes shifted over to Keiko and snickered a bit seeing the silly look on her face. He personally thought it was funny, but stopped before the girl would think he was laughing at her.

His seatmate seemed to settle in, along with everybody else on the bus. "Thank you for the pocky Akira." He nodded and took another deliberate bite at the sweet treat looking back to Keiko. "Oh! I'm sorry. I never introduced myself.... My name is Bishop. What's yours?". He spoke with genuine interest, glancing over to Akira hoping to give the body language off that he wasn't just forgetting about her.

Keiko

"Crisis averted right? Hehe..." Keiko nodded her head agreeing with the blonde boy but in a serious manner. She really did consider wasted food a crisis, not just food she was really fond of, taking into considering that there are so many suffering and in poverty. She may have lost her family, memories and everything that defined her as a person and as an individual, but she was still thoughtful and considerate of others, in ways that were maybe a bit more extreme than the norm.
"Looks like we didn't move that far apart." When Kei recognised her presence, Keiko stiffened and gave another nod, but more firm added with a small nervous smile. She knew she wasn't responsible for the sitting location and it was all coincidence, but being so near him again made her feel like a stalker. Perhaps she was just overly conscious of the impressions she was setting to others.
"Oh! I'm sorry. I never introduced myself.... My name is Bishop. What's yours?" Keiko's eyes were averted over to Bishop. "Keiko.. Keiko is happy to make your acquaintance!" The first time she expressed her name, it came out hesitated but the latter enthusiasm made up for it.
As a girl, Keiko naturally compared the boys she had met so far in her mind. Aeon.. Jonathan... Kei..Bishop. Aeon would be the hardest to get to know, the one she considered would always give her and perhaps everyone else as well, the cold shoulder. Jonathan she barely had a chance to talk to, but the family portrait remained constant in her mind and the impression she received from him bringing it during a beach trip, made it seem like family was very important to him. It was cute. Kei she found to be mysterious, yet a gentleman. She couldn't really tell what kind of person he is except for the fact he is very kind towards everyone and Bishop whom she had just met, was very cheerful and easy to get along with, making her assume he got along with everyone and was likely popular or excelling at something; studies or sports maybe even both.
Somehow, she got embarrassed at her own thoughts and started to shy away from the ongoing conversation.

As the bus halted, she swore she could see a boy (Shin) watching from one of the school buildings. What was odd about it, was the classroom he was in looked pretty empty. I wonder if he got left behind? The view was too far to recognise him, but judging from the hair alone that she could glimpse at, she assumed it was a boy. He looked pretty lonely up there. Keiko listened attentively to the announcements delivered by Mr. Drone as the Class president nominations were mentioned especially. This is a tough call, I've barely met the other juniors. She counted her fingers of people she had already met, from the trip on the bus alone and it made her wonder just how much she missed at the beach by staying put in her cabin. It was a bit of a sad realisation but then again, she didn't bring any swimwear and would naturally be left out of the activities with her peers regardless. Although, she did hear a lot of noise coming from outside during night time. It sounded like there was a lot of fun going on, but she had just continued reading her books without peeking.

Keiko didn't like the fussy lines but she slowly got up from her seat and waited to join it because it was a step closer to home. As she waited, she looked out the window again but not at the boy (Shin), but out towards the crowds. There were so many students that she wondered who would get nominated knowing surely it wouldn't be her. As she looked around more, her eyes settled on a student who stuck out like sore thumb from the rest. The girl (Devone) was in all meaning of the word, beautiful. The way she moved through the crowd made her look like a queen, with such poise and grace and the right level of feminine and authority put together. Although her black hair was very common amongst the crowd being in an asian country, she still had all the qualities to stand out. Keiko was a little jealous at how confident this girl (Devone) looked to be, when she was always unsure of herself. "Who is that.." Keiko stared on, not asking the question to anyone in particular but as she asked, she almost swore for a fraction of the second, that the beautiful girl (Devone) had a devious look on her face that gave the vibe of someone you wouldn't want to mess with.

Kei Takeda

Kei found himself quite lethargic as the bus ride continued. A mix of exhaustion from the previous day, the lack of sleep, and the quietness among the other students made it quite easy to relax and settle in to his seat. He never fell asleep but his eyes wandered and stared off into nothingness for most of the time, zoning out and trying to let time fly right past him. He did put on some music around halfway but even then he didn't really listen to it, the ear buds only helping drown out the little talking going around the bus. He wasn't thinking about anything and he was so out of it he didn't react immediately, choosing to remain seated for some time before finally snapping out of it and looking around. They were back at school, the trip was over and after a short time on campus he could go home. He wasn't sure what sounded better, a decent meal or his bed. Both sounded quite good and he was looking forward to a bit of rest and relaxation after the little field trip. He took a long deep breath as he pulled the ear plugs out and shoved them inside his pocket, stopping the music and stretching his limbs for a moment. It wasn't until he finally noticed how many people had already departed that he finally stood up and headed towards the door, stepping down onto solid grounds once again and yawning, following his expression of sleepiness with yet another full body stretch, his long arms crossing behind his head and getting his body a bit loose as he went to the line formed behind the baggage. It didn't take too long before he made it to his bag, grabbing his stuff and moving off to the side, opening up his bag and shoving it inside the bag. He zipped it up before moving towards the school, not knowing exactly where to go or what the rest of the day was going to be like for him but knowing where to start, he needed to get rid of his giant bag.

He shoved it in his locker when he finally got there, shoving it closed and once again catching himself yawning. Kei tried to shake it off, taking another breath before turning and walking down the hall, his hands in his pockets as he made his way towards the classroom. He didn't stop or try and talk to anyone, doing his best to keep to himself, not reverting but his sleepiness was making him less than social. He entered the classroom and went to one of the seats in the back, sitting down in the last row and getting comfortable, not so comfortable that he would fall asleep but trying his best to relax and ride the rest of the day out. It seemed everyone else was lagging behind and taking it slow so he figured he had some time to kill before anything happened, the transition from semi-vacation to school not something that came immediately. He figured even the teachers would be a bit behind. Of course the best laid plans often went astray and while he had only meant to sit back and relax, Kei had ended up leaning forward and placing his head on his arms, his eyes closing slowly as he forgot to even struggle against his tired body. He wasn't deeply asleep but it was enough, he was breathing slowly and his mind was wandering off with a random dream keeping him from reality. Hopefully someone would wake him when it came time for things to start up again, if not another student he was sure a teacher would be sure to bring him out of his happy comfortable state. Regardless, with him being asleep there was nothing that could be done about it, his body and mind had allowed the exhaustion to win out for the moment, perhaps he would even wake up more refreshed, ready to go about the rest of his day and not mess up his schedule too badly.

Cassiopeia

The obvious reaction from such a curt and brief answer of Aeon was a pout. Cassiopeia even when to the lengths to cross her arms over her chest. It is true that he was not the type to speak in over-elaborated words when he can make it short and straight. However, it would not kill him to add a more sense of emotion behind his words from time to time. This would make him more approachable and even have fun at this school. Although, she had no right to complain. It is because he is like this that she had agreed and so did he. Looking at him who walked away towards the classroom where the nominations would be held, she released a huge sigh and shrugged her shoulders. In the end, she could only follow him.

But before doing so, a boy (Bishop) carrying a surfboard passed her with a proper excuse me. Instinctively, she let the person go through with a smile. However, her eyes were rather glued on the surfboard being carried. It was not because she had never seen one. This is more like she had never been on one or done surfing of any kind. Through her frail condition, she was not allowed to do such tiring activities that would be considered dangerous. As such, her eyes had a shimmer of admiration for the boy (Bishop) who had a surfboard. He must be incredible in it. She was about to follow the boy (Bishop) to ask about surfboards when Aeon's voice penetrated her senses. Regrettably, she would just have to meet the boy (Bishop) another time.

Following Aeon, she walked beside him and released another sigh. "I'm not that weak you know." She reminded him and had a very stern look on her face as if scolding the towering man near him. One could say that Cassiopeia was truly candid in her feelings more than anyone else probably. For the remainder of the walk to the classroom they were assigned to, she had kept silent but her eyes would often wander around to the other people in interest. At times, she would greet them with a bright smile on her face and asked about various things before Aeon would cut her off rudely in her opinion. Anyway, they had finally arrived at the classroom where she found that the teacher was still nowhere in sight. It was good they were not that late. If they were, she would have felt very bad about it since Aeon doesn't like tardiness.

Anyway, she looked at the students inside the room and found a couple of them already there. There were two (Kei and Akira) already at the back and it seems Aeon wanted to be at the back as well. For her, she wanted to seat at the front. There was only one student at front and he (Silas) did not seem bad or part of a syndicate. So, he must be good to talk to. It would be more fun to be there in her opinion. However, she did not want to cause more trouble for him. So in the end, he released s huge sigh and followed Aeon at the back sitting beside him. After doing so, she looked at their seatmates (Kei and Akira) with a pleasant yet energetic smile of hers. "Hello! My name is Cassiopeia and this is Aeon!" She pointed at the rather expressionless guy beside her. "It's nice to meet you! I wonder who would be Class President!"

Akira

Akira felt herself stop breathing as Cassiopeia leaned in closer, did her breath smell? Did she notice a pimple on Akira's face? The brunette couldn't help stressing as the gorgeous light haired girl got a closer look at her. I'm pretty sure I brushed my teeth, I'm positive.. but what if breakfast made my breath smell bad? She let her dark brown eyes gaze upon the other girl curiously, and appearing slightly anxious. Then she leaned backwards after words finally came from Cassiopeia's mouth. E-eh!? She called me beautiful? Her cheeks slightly flushed and nervous laughter followed instinctively, "T-thanks, but I'm not, really." she insisted, "The school thought I was a boy rather than a girl this year and now I'm Roselle's lap dog." she told Cassiopeia. Then she stiffened a bit. Why is she asking Aeon if I'm beautiful or not!? Akira sweatdropped a bit, putting both hands up in surrender. Did Silas already tell the violet haired male (Aeon) she said he was attractive? She didn't want Cassiopeia to find out she'd said it, it was merely harmless. Silas practically ripped it from my thoughts! Honest! She felt the stress building up inside of her head. Then Cassiopeia mentioned feminine clothes, making her cringe a bit. Akira had always hated dressing girly..

"I guess we'll find out tomorrow.." she laughed a bit, "My uniform swap is tomorrow." she rubbed the back of her neck gently.

Akira nodded when Cassiopeia spoke Varthur's name, looking around the room for him, had he arrived yet? Then she remembered that Cassiopeia also addressed Kei in her introduction, looking over to the brunette male before looking back to her, "In case he's day dreaming or something, that's Kei." She ushered her thumb to him with closed eyes. She didn't have a hate filled tone, it was flat and uncaring, but no venom behind her words. I don't want to start anymore fights.. but I can't just forgive him so easily.. plus he's in cohorts with Devone now. I'm not sure I can trust him if I ever needed him. She placed her elbow on her desk, cupping her chin in her palm, "Varthur is the most reliable, mature guy I know... if mature wasn't on the roster, Silas
over there would be perfect." She ushered to him with a giggle, "He's loyal and dependable, but definitely not mature enough to be on student counsel." Her tone was more friendly as she spoke of Silas, but she turned her attention back to Cassiopeia and Aeon before even more people discovered her crush on her best friend, "You will?" she asked Cassiopeia, before nodding, "I'm sure he'll appreciate it." she smiled sincerely. Varthur was mad at her, and she wasn't sure why, but he didn't do anything to deserve her ruining his campaign.. so why not promote? She giggled when Cassiopeia mentioned she'd vote for Aeon if he'd of joined in on the ballot, " I'm sure he'd do well." she added with kindness. Aeon did seem to emit a leader's aura.

"Ah I see, I came from Britain my junior year." She gave Cassiopeia a thumbs up, "I understand completely." She blinked when Cassiopeia bowed her head, tilting her head aside. Akira was half japanese, but aside from the language, she was still a little rusty on their culture and day to day life. Her gaze moved back to Aeon, nodding at Cassiopeia, "I see." she replied blinking, "Yeah.. I got drug around to a lot of parties last year and between sports and those, I didn't get to meet anyone who didn't attend one of the two functions.." She sweatdropped, remembering, or rather, not remembering much of her junior year. After she met Silas, her junior year only came in bits and pieces, most of it blacking out for large quantities of time.

"F-fiance`?!" She blinked, going wide eyed when the word crossed Cassiopeia's lips. She took a moment to take it all in, they both were so young! How did they know that they wanted to be together that long? To have children together? She shook the thought off after looking at the two again. Well.. they would have beautiful children, and they'd definitely be well mannered kids. Both of them just define excellence just by looking at them..

Akira noticed Silas had been talking to Devone for quite some time out of the corner of her eye, but besides her shoulders stiffening, she showed no sign of acknowledgement. She wasn't going to look, because if she did, someone would notice. Devone could possibly draw enjoyment from her discomfort if she caught on to it and Akira was determined to have a fight free day.

So despite herself she looked over to Kei, "You're quieter than usual, say hello?" she tilted her head.

Kei

Kei wasn't trying to be unfriendly but he was quite comfortable and the idle chatter going on around him seemed to go in one ear and directly out the other. That was until he heard his name spoken by Akira, his head turning slightly and his eyes falling on her. "In case he's day dreaming or something, that's Kei." He hadn't expected her to be friendly but a lack of hatred was a start and he felt somewhat relieved, though the tiredness that still plagued him made it impossible to react quickly. So he continued to be a tad rude, his mouth shut as he attempted to rouse himself, a hand going up and rubbing at his eyes before he leaned back in his chair. He was slightly dazed, staring off at the wall for a moment before turning and looking at the two people he wasn't so familiar with. One was the guy he had seen on the bus, Aeon if he wasn't mistaken, and the other was a foreign looking girl, attractive but he had missed everything she had said. He guessed she had greeted him by what Akira had said though and he gave a small polite nod, "Sorry, I was off in my own little world. I'm Kei." He gave a small smile but didn't say much more, not wanting to make it obvious he hadn't heard a thing. After his greeting he looked around the room for a moment, his eyebrow raising as he saw Silas' condition, though he really wasn't surprised anymore, even after but a few days he was use to the blonde and his unpredictable ways. He didn't crack a small smile though, guessing it had been done to toy with Devone. He wasn't so sure who she really was but he had a feeling she wanted to be included and understood even if she didn't show it, or even know that she wanted to. Not that he could be sure but when they spoke he had begun to wonder who she really was. He could be completely off the mark but he wasn't so sure.

He wasn't awake enough to really think about all of it, but he was sure he would have some busy times ahead because Devone would be a handful if he truly decided to butt in to her life and get to know her. He probably would, his new attitude and curiosity, not to mention his promise to be of help if she needed it would make it so. "You're quieter than usual, say hello?" Kei looked over slightly confused but he didn't show it and simply smiled. "Hello. Sorry, just a bit tired and out of it I guess." He didn't know exactly what to say but if he and Akira both continued to say only the bare minimum it would be awkward much longer, so he tried to make some conversation, even if it were idle. "I think I need a good nights sleep, the beach trip was fun but rather exhausting, especially combined with the party at the end and all of its... Perks." She laughed slightly and smiled at Akira, "How about you, tired or are you good to go?" He wasn't sure she would even answer him, and he definitely didn't think she would be happy to since she was still upset about what had happened. In time he figured they would be friendly again, but for the time being he was fine with some small talk and a lack of hatred in her tone.

Akira

Akira noticed that she got at least a vital sign out of Kei, closing her eyes and sighing. She was still exhausted and hungover as well, but she assumed Kei never got into the alcoholic scene before now.. which brought memories to her first party she attended at Airdalen. Silas persuaded her into attending... and she got sick as a dog. She'd drank before back in Britain, but she'd never gotten drunk like she'd gotten that night. Akira shook her head when Kei finally spoke, turning her brown eyes back to Cassiopeia, waiting for her and Aeon's reaction to everything that had been said. The brunette for once held her tongue, allowing the other brunette in their little group of four have his turn in the conversation. Besides, even Akira knew by now.. If she was talking excessively, she only got herself into more trouble in the long run. Then she nearly jumped out of her skin as she felt something moving in her pocket. She calmed when she remembered she had set her phone back on vibrate however. Akira dug into her pocket and looked at her phone as it vibrated violently. The screen said "Reminder: Work Today!!" She went wide eyed and facepalmed. I completely forgot I have work this evening! She thought with a sense of dread. She let out a troubled sigh, turning off her notifications and shoving the device back where it belonged. She was so glad she programmed her phone to remind her, if she hadn't she'd of gotten fired long ago for bad attendance. Akira turned her gaze back to Kei, then to where his gaze had met..

Akira noticed Devone was speaking to Silas still, causing her smile to fade without her notice this time. Why is she still talking to him..? What are they talking about? The anxiety built in her stomach like a ball of rubber bands, tight and constricted. She looked away for a moment, deciding to not grant Devone the amusement of knowing it was bothering her. Pretend you never saw it Akira, I'm sure there is a logical explaination.. Though she was still peeking out of the corner of her eye.

The more Devone and Silas talked, the more Akira thought about her blonde friend and worst enemy's kiss and the more it brought devastation to her mental stability. She was clenching her jaw, trying to ignore them, trying to not let Devone or anyone else realize that even now, without effort, Devone was still getting under her skin. She did pretty well other than her clenched jaw until she saw Devone touch Silas out of the corner of her eye, touching his face, then his lips. The mental picture of the two kissing returning freshly to her mind again. She swallowed hard, trying to ignore it. Akira succeeded in not staring, but the shock and somewhat hurt in her eyes was becoming obvious to anyone looking. The cause, not as obvious unless they knew about her crush on her best friend, but it seemed everyone was catching onto it these days.. Her mind was zooming in a million directions, she only hoped that no one had spoken to her during her moment of weakness. She couldn't hear anything other than the buzzing of everyone's voices mixing together like white noise. She was trying to draw her attention away, but to no avail, until she heard Kei ask her a direct question. She turned her attention back to him, still shaken up, "I'm feeling worse than I was earlier, but I'll manage." she replied back, a small half smile crossing her lips. She ruffled her own short untamed brown hair, trying to get the images of Devone and Silas out of her mind. Of course he'd be attracted to her. She's mysterious, rich, and she's just as confident as him. She's beautiful, she's everything a woman should be. She felt her jaw clench again as her thoughts became more and more destructive. Sera, she's got me beat even if Devone wasn't creeping into the picture. She's just as womanly as Devone and then some, confident, exotic. Why did I even think someone like me could have a chance? Sure, I'm not flat chested either, quite a distance from it.. but I don't suit the part of a girl. I like running, jumping, climbing trees. Sports. I hate dresses and bikini tops. I hate dancing and acting slutty. I lost my first real kiss to Bishop of all people! I've never been intimate with a boy and I've never been asked out before.. I'm not cut out for it. Her eyes lowered to looking at the floor as she mentally came to the realization that she was losing the battle no matter how she looked at it. Honestly, she doubted she ever was even considered a threat to begin with.

Friend.

I hate the word. That's all I'll ever be.

Huh, Varthur's late. That's odd. Akira thought to herself in a blank manner. Akira would've pointed out Varthur as he entered the building, but between her visual of Devone and Silas and her own destructive criticism, she felt to beaten down to even look up, let alone talk some more. Especially about someone else who seemed to hate her guts at the moment. Let's fill the room with everyone who is; scared of me, hates my guts, or thinks I'm insane. Oh wait.. we would require a larger room.. She thought pessimistically.

Akira was shaken when she heard a loud voice. She frowned as Mr. Drone was the cause of her mini heart attack. I will have a lawsuit on this man before graduation. She rolled her eyes bitterly. She listened in and since Silas volunteered Varthur before she got the chance, she made another choice before anyone decided to spout Devone's name from their lips. I'd rather rot in hell than have her as a class president. She raised her hand, her fingers set in a peace sign gesture, "I nominate Kei." and she jabbed her thumb in the boy's direction. Hell, it could be amusing. She was rooting for Varthur, but Kei was definitely one of the more mature of the group, and could use the spotlight for a change, "You're welcome." She yawned before leaning back in her seat. I just want the bell to ring so I can go to work and forget about every single bit of all this.

Maybe I should move on..?

But...How..?

Kei

Kei was glad Akira was talking to him, it gave the 'time heals all' a little more credit and he hoped it eventually became less awkward and tense than it currently was. Either way he would deal with it, anything was better than the silence or seething anger. Besides, he never meant to hurt her feelings, he himself had just said things in the heat of the moment, things he regretted in some way. "I'm feeling worse than I was earlier, but I'll manage." No real room was left for him to speak again but he uttered a quick, "Sorry to hear that." Before his eyes followed where she was looking, back to Silas and Devone. Things between the two seemed to have heated up and from what Kei had learned in the last day it wasn't what it appeared. Silas wasn't just a flirt, he was a tactful guy whether it seemed that way or not and while he didn't know Devone well he could guess she wasn't intimate with Silas. It would have been interesting to know what they were talking about in their private little world but he had to deal with not knowing, just watching as things turned from odd to worse, Devone and Silas getting extremely close and a scene unfolding he didn't understand at all. Once again he was sure it wasn't as it appeared but it was certainly a sight to confuse and astound, both himself and definitely Akira. It wasn't hard to see she had a crush on Silas, a lot of girls had a crush on the guy but for Akira it was probably more serious, she was his good friend after all. It wasn't Kei's business what was going on between the two though, he believed him and Silas were friendly and as for Devone he had offered to be a friend if she truly wanted one but that wasn't going to make him suddenly nosy, he generally wasn't the type to involve himself in other people's business. So instead he turned his eyes away, looking towards the front of the classroom and just waiting for something else to happen, perhaps the bell to ring or a teacher to come in. Almost as soon as he had done that he got what he had been waiting for in the form of a large man-baby of a teacher, Mr. Drone.

"1-2-3-4, who will be the class president yo!" Kei sighed, he liked Mr. Drone but sometimes he just become obnoxious, which was one reason he was a good teacher to have at times but also what made him frustrating in moments such as the one they were currently in. "You're my senior dawgs! You know how it goes down.. due to camp, we will only be nominating two from our class today, then we go home, then tomorrow... IT'S COMPETITION TIME. ROLL UP.. ROLL UP. WE'RE TAKING BETS ON MR SO AND SO - AND LADY SO -SO. Who will be our.. CHAMPIONNNNNNNN?!" Kei had a feeling who would be nominated and he kept his nose out of it, not really caring who was the president and figuring there were other people more involved with the class who could make a decision and speak up, so he remained silent. "Varthur." Varthur's name was not a surprise, he had a class president vibe to him and while Kei had misunderstood him from the start he was definitely a decent guy, someone people could have some trust in. He was who Kei would have voted for. As for the second vote he was guessing Silas, popular and fun seemed like the obvious choice. "I nominate Kei." Kei's eyes went wide when the second name was actually called out, his head turning and he no longer looked as if he had no interest, instead he looked incredibly focused on the topic, though not exactly in a positive way. "You're welcome." Unlike his usual expression, which consisted of little more than a casual nonchalant gaze, he currently look astounded and more than a little confused. It was a look that said, 'You're welcome? Are you kidding me!' He didn't want the spotlight and he sure as well wouldn't know the first thing about being a class official. Why him? Was it further payback for the bus, was she trying to mess with him a bit more, make people laugh at the idea of the silent 'delinquent' becoming the Senior President? He just didn't understand.

"Well, alright.." "I accept." Only when Varthur spoke up did Kei move his eyes away from Akira, still wondering just what in the hell she had been thinking. He was now looking at Varthur who turned to him a moment later, he wasn't sure but he felt like he wouldn't win anyways. Of course the first question in his mind was whether he could decline, but after a few moments he decided against it. It was bad enough that he had to be nominated but if he backed down it would only be worse. Besides, he wouldn't be able to beat Varthur, especially since the other man seemed ready to go for it. Instead he just released a heavy sigh and relaxed his body again, shrugging as he got comfortable once more, knowing he wouldn't have to say anything and Mr. Drone would take care of the rest.

"Talks like these are better left hanging in the air. Let us get this over with and about."

The girl was too energetic and overly bright for her own good. If it was up to him, he would have refrained her from attending any kind of schools especially the ones where he is at. But then again, he knew the feeling of wanting to break free. So, he will allow this bit of leeway at the expense of his own comfort. It was not going to be a long time anyway. He could put up with it after all, he had been patient for a lot of things. Looking at the white-haired girl walking beside her, there was a subtle glint of warmth. However, he would not admit that or neither did he noticed it himself. As for those people passing by, they would have concluded it as a mere hallucination as his eyes returned to its cool and indiscernible mauve eyes.

He knew too well that Cassiopeia was not that weak. Rather, she was rather foolishly brave and strong. A combination truly fitting for someone like her. But, it would not be terrible of her to welcome caution once in a while. When they had entered the Senior Classroom, he simply went to his chosen seat at the back and did not bother with anyone. There was no need for such things. Furthermore, he wanted whatever these nominations underway and done. He had other matters to deal with including the Argyris princess who would relentlessly pester him for the days to come. Hmm, she had said that a Junior had been assigned to her. Well, it could be a good diversion away from him.

As clear as day, the girl undoubtedly started meaningless conversations with their so-called neighbors. He did not mind as long as he is not dragged forcefully in those topics of hers. Between the two of them, Cassiopeia was the one known to be very good with dealing people. In his position, he was more capable of dealing with them at a professional manner. After all, he really didn't come here to make friends or anything. Yet, it does not mean he would limit the white-haired girl to do as he pleases. Upon hearing his name, he looked at the one Cassiopeia was talking to, it was a girl masquerading as a male (Akira). Odd choice. Well, he does not judge and returned his attention to the front of the room.

The dialogues continued with the occasional attempts of Cassiopeia for him to join in. Unfortunately, they were all lost causes as he simply ignored all of it. Then, his relationship with Cassiopeia was revealed to their neighbors. Well, he was not adamant about hiding it or is he too candid to showcase it. If no one asks, then it's fine. If someone did, then it's fine as well. Either way, he really did not care for that is true relationship he has with the Argyris princess. But to conclude it was out of love and all, the world is not made of cookies and sweets. This was purely a business matter and nothing else.

His fiancee wrapped around his arm as he cast her a seemingly void expression. However, he did not reclaim his arm and simply looked ahead once more. What was the point of rejecting her touch, they were engaged to get married anyway. Such touches and intimate gestures are to be expected and he was not the kind to dissuade Cassiopeia from such things. As long as she wants, then it will be done. Even with their other neighbor (Kei) joining in, he remained absolutely silent throughout. Soon enough, his patience was rewarded when the overly-buff but a teacher who probably had no sense in his words entered the room. It seemed the time to nominate was now.

Hearing the nominations, he did not have any problems. Someone named Varthur and their neighbor (Kei) were chosen. Good or bad for them, he didn't care. With that done, it was dismissal and that was his cue. Standing from his position, he looked at Cassiopeia. "I am leaving." He stated as he knew that Cassiopeia would follow. As for the other two (Kei and Akira), he could careless for them. They were not people he had any business with to begin. Exiting the room, he caught a glance of another female (Devone) at the corner of his eyes. However, that was all there is to it as he went on his way. She (Devone) was not his concern as well.

If he only knew what was about to happen after a few moments, he turned around the corner... If only he knew...

Cassiopeia

Looking at Kei, Cassiopeia cannot help but smile brightly. She reminded him of her brother who was always sleepy or rather had a seemingly nonchalant demeanor. Although, she was pretty sure that her brother did took everything in a very serious light. She wondered if this Kei guy was the same. "Hello! I'm Cassiopeia!" She greeted while waving her hand in the process. Kei seemed to have apologized by his rather distant or dozing off presence. "No, it's fine. Once, we are done here. You should get some sleep!" She noted with a rather cheerful tone as she looked at Aeon. "Isn't that right?" Of course, he ignored her attempt for a casual conversation once more. It would not hurt for him to be more sociable to others. There is more to life than business matters really.

Anyway, the talk continued on until she had introduced Aeon as her fiancé. That is the absolute truth and somehow it surprised Akira. It made her wonder if engagements are not normal in Japan. But then again, Akira came from Britain as she stated earlier. So, it was not about the culture. May be, it was because of the current look of society. Akira must be thinking that this was a bond created out of love. How wrong it was. This was an arrangement that would benefit both parties, Aeon and her. In the end, she only smiled while Aeon did not say anything nor rejected her touch. Thinking about it, he never did and she was thankful for that. Aeon was doing his end of the bargain. So, she was really happy for that.

Before the talk could proceed, a teacher entered with such a loud voice and probably had aspirations to be rapper sensation in the future. Although, it made Cassiopeia laugh which she did without much restraint. She has no qualms showing whatever she is feeling. As long as she is feeling it, then it will be shown without any pretenses. Soon, she was able to calm herself when she heard a name for nomination. Varthur was called out. The one that Akira told her about. So, she will be voting for him. But, she was rather confused Akira nominated Kei. Why was that? She looked at Kei and then to Akira. "Now, I don't know who to choose..." Cassiopeia said in a rather childish and undecided manner. It was rather adorable when she did it with her lips forming a pout.

But before she could receive any answer, Aeon had already declared he was going to leave. Without further ado, he stood and went on his way. "Wait for me!" Cassiopeia instantly stood and looked at Kei and Akira. "It was nice to meet you! We're friends, right?" She chimed happily while waving with such energy. "See you later!" She then went after Aeon who had already left her behind. As she exited the room, she noticed a figure leaning on the nearby wall. It was a beautiful girl with black hair (Devone). In Cassiopeia's case, she was unaware that she was also a beauty to be considered. "Pretty..." She let out that word slip out of her lips when she suddenly felt a sense of nauseousness. "Aeon..." She whispered as she turned to another direction where she judged Aeon would be.

Her vision was blurring. It can't be. Not at this time, she did not want to make a scene here at school. She soon saw the figure of Aeon. Reaching out her hand to him, she called out his name in subtle desperation. "Aeon..." He must have heard her as she felt herself falling forward but arms wrapped around her form. She felt being embraced as she finally lost consciousness but not before saying an apology. "Sorry..."

Kei

Kei was not exactly thrilled about what had just happened in the classroom, mainly because he was terribly confused but also because nothing seemed to make sense. Yesterday was like a plot whole in the story of his life, people who hated him then were suddenly putting him up for class president and people who hated each other were making a semi-scene in the back of the classroom. Perhaps that was simply how things worked though because Kei didn't know what else to think. Of course he liked to think he had paid more attention despite not talking to people the last few semesters, that he would have realized friendship and relationships of any kind were randomized mazes of what the fuck but apparently he hadn't been. So he just sat there for a moment staring off into space and trying to wrap his head around everything that had just happened. It seemed he just didn't have the brainpower to do that though and instead of figuring it out he just became more irritated and more confused. Thus was life. So instead he just waited, ignoring the fact that Akira had essentially vouched for him and the little Silas and Devone scene in the back, as well as the overly enthusiastic Mr. Drone that if anybody had been watching would probably been doing something annoyingly mind-blowing. He buried his head in the sand so to speak and until the bell rang he was doing anything but contemplating the many mysteries of human interactions.

When the bell finally did ring Kei waited for a moment, letting a few others file out before he himself stood from the seat and got his stuff together. Home, that was what was on his mind, he didn't care if clubs had started yet, he could put them off for one day because a good meal and sleep sounded much better. Yes, a good meal, he had been wanting something good to eat since that little family style place he had shared a meal with Devone, something more than under-seasoned and overpriced food. As Kei walked out of the classroom he began to think about all the different meals he could make, stuff they had in the fridge and things he could go out and get on the way home and everything sounded good. He wore a smile on his face at the thought, his stomach rumbling since he hadn't eaten in quite some time, at least nothing substantial or delicious. It would be welcomed, though something happened as he made his way down the hall. Instead of snapping out of his day dream Kei sunk deeper into it, his thoughts of food clouding his entire mind and before long his eyes shut closed, the Senior slumping up against the nearest locker and sliding down the side of it. It was the strangest thing, he had seemed tired and he certainly hadn't felt ill but he was out, though at least he hadn't crashed to the ground, it would be unfortunate for whoever he had fallen on.

---

Kei snapped awake what seemed like moments after his sudden drowsiness, his eyes popping open and him pushing himself up from his prone position on the floor. "What in the hell..." He groaned groggily as he made his best effort to get to his feet, a bit of unsteadiness at first but he kept his balance. "Where..." He looked around only to find himself in one of his least favorite places on the school grounds, the Science Lab. He shook his head and rubbed his forehead as he tried to figure out why he was in the Science Lab alone and without any of his stuff. It really made no sense and the longer he thought about it the less sense it made, he wouldn't have gone there willingly, he definitely didn't think people would carry out a practical joke in which they had to lug around his giant body, and there was nobody else with him. It made absolutely no sense and Kei grumbled angrily to himself, looking around for a clock, his phone having died on the bus and being useless despite him still having it. That just made things more confusing, he hadn't been out for long and yet he had made it all the way to the Science Building. "I can't catch a damn break can I..." He muttered, knowing that every single day something seemed to have gone wrong and it kept becoming worse and worse. Tomorrow I probably get hit by a bus... Yep that would be just his luck as of late and really increase his mood because the way things were going he wouldn't die, just be terribly crippled after the bus smashed right into him.

It was just as Kei was about to rip his hair out that he walked over towards the window. "Oh... People outside and running around... That's where I'm going to go..." He turned around, not looking very closely about what was happening outside and moved towards the door but as things went he stopped, a noise catching his ear, the sound of a snore. His eyes narrowed and he went towards the sound, searching around the area and finding nobody but he could still hear it. Then he figured it out and began to open up the various cupboards in front of him, swallowing as he finally found the source, Keiko, the girl he met on the bus. Now things made even less sense to him than ever and he took a deep breath, "Simple... That's how my days use to seem... Simple..." He took one more deep breath and reached out, slowly pushing against Keiko's shoulder to try and wake her up, "Keiko... Not the place to sleep." He didn't know her that well but he continued to shake her shoulder, he would have been laughing at the cuteness if he wasn't so irritated and confused by everything else. "Keiko..." He said again, pushing against her shoulder, he wasn't going to leave her but he wanted her to get up, he really didn't feel like staying there any longer than he had to, even if he didn't have somewhere that important to be, though food was still on his mind, it wasn't going to leave unless something more pressing came up.

Keiko

Keiko didn't show up to class and missed out on the elections for a few reasons but the main being her attention span coupled with the fact that by the time she did make it to class, the terrifying lady from the bus was the one teaching and Keiko would rather skip than be yelled at and embarrassed in front of her junior cohort. She had been walking around the school in the mean time, surprised to find she wasn't the only one skipping and her eye caught onto a minor detail. "Hey, wait up!" she called out to a random male student who didn't seem to hear her as he kept on walking. Since he didn't hear her, Keiko recklessly moved in front of him and the male student's walking turned into a swift "Smack!" backwards to the ground as he had been so surprised at this girl blocking his path. "What is it? You're not a hall monitor or something are you?" The sophomore boy asked, sitting up and rubbing the back of his head that had hurt from impact. Keiko got down on her knees and started to slowly unzip his jacket, causing the boy to become incredibly flustered. "Look-- I have a girlfriend.." He stammered as his eyes wandered to the junior's body before everywhere else in case there were other students or staff around. Keiko ignored the boy, holding intense concentration on his chest. "I knew it!" Keiko cried out with glee, her hands clapping together as she released him. She closed her eyes with a sweet smile, "It's one of those shirts with a quote or something on it! It really bugs me when I can't read the whole thing." She exclaimed before standing up and walking away, her interest served. The sophomore boy looked down at his shirt then watched as Keiko walked away. "What?" he said aloud to himself, confused as heck.

The school bell rang and Keiko hummed as she strolled down the hallways, happy that she had met so many people in one day. It was a great change in her life, from losing her memories to living alone. She wasn't sure who she could consider a 'friend' yet but it still felt good to know others and for others to know who she was... or who she thought she was, at least. Lost in thought, Keiko had exited the building and was making her way for the school gate but she was overwhelmed by a dizzy feeling. "Ugh...my head...vision too." She wobbled over to the nearest selection of drinking fountains/ bubblers deciding that maybe she was just dehydrated since it had been a long day and perhaps she was lacking vitamin D. The water didn't help much though as she stopped sipping water and sat down against a random building's wall to regain her focus, instead falling asleep.

"Keiko... Not the place to sleep." Keiko heard a familiar voice as she wiped off a bit of drool that had escaped her lips. Drooling happened when she was really tired and having a deep sleep which wasn't often but it still happens. "Dad there's no school today.." Keiko whined as she turned her body to face the other way before realising something was very off. Wait.. I don't have a dad that I know of... I live alone.. so why is there a male voice waking me--- Oh....dear. Her eccentric imagination got the best of her as her mind performed back flips. "Keiko..." Her body stiffened as the voice registered and so did the male's touch against her shoulder. She started yelling incoherently as she rolled up into a ball feeling vulnerable.

"I'M A VIRGIN! OR OR DO YOU WANT TO ROB ME? I AM A HIGHSCHOOL STUDENT WITH NO JOB..WELL I WORK AT A BAKERY BUT I'M NOT VERY GOOD AT IT OR OR DID I DO SOMETHING BAD? WAS I A BAD PERSON TO YOU? I AM SORRY! I'VE HAD AMNESIA FOR A WHILE SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT I DID WRONG OR EVEN WHO I WAS BEFORE BUT I WILL MAKE IT UP TO Y---Wait.."
Keiko opened her eyes as she realised her body felt cramped and it wasn't a soft bed she was positioned in. She sat up, only to hit her head against a very low ceiling. "Ow...ow..." she whimpered like a puppy before slowly moving out of wherever she was to normal floor and normal standing height. When she was out, she turned around and discovered she had been sleeping in a cupboard. She sweat dropped in disbelief. "Since when..do I do that?" Keiko turned around more to see who had woken her, greeted by a familiar face. "Ohh, cake!" She said without thinking before correcting herself. "I mean Kei, hey!" She did a peace sign gesture with her right hand before bending the fingers so they looked more like bunny ears. "Ah wah.. Keiko doesn't remember... science class.." She murmured more to herself as she took in the surroundings to be a science lab in the school. In fact, she hadn't seen the school labs at all until now.
