Face claim:
Arisa Meigo

Gender:
Female

Nationality:
Full 100% Japanese

STATS:
-Intellect: 8
-Physical/Sporting Ability: 17
-Charm: 1
-Popularity: 27

Your most important stat: Popularity & IntellectImage
Her reason for caring for Popularity isn't because she wants to be noticed and have plenty of friends but simply just because she believes with popularity she'll be able to shape the school into a better place. She wants to get elected for class president and raise issues and concerns the school could address as well as help out with the school events for everyone to have fun participating in. She doesn't believe popularity to be everything and is not willing to change who she is for it. Upon gaining the right position among her peers, she is sure to harness the power and influence in a responsible way.
Her reason for intellect is fairly obvious, she wants to get good grades and is a bit of an overachiever when it comes to her abilities.

Which stat appeals to you most: Physical/Sporting Ability
Although she wouldn't like to admit it, there is something appealing in a guy who takes care of his physique and excels in sports. It could probably be linked to the fact she is an overachiever in her grades most of the time, whereas an overachiever in sports would somewhat complement her.

ImageSecrets:
1. Momo has an embarrassing light red birthmark on the back of her left shoulder that is shaped like floppy bunny ears. She'll blush the same colour if anyone finds out.
2. She's adopted. Most people assume her adopted mother is her actual mother and she has not the heart to say otherwise.
3. She was bullied at a young age because her glasses made her a vulnerable target easy to pick on. One specific bullying incident resulted in a terrible case of scoliosis where it was diagnosed that she would unable to walk without experiencing some pain. Despite that, she miraculously overcame it with perseverance in physical therapy that contributed to her built up competitive drive. Later on, she also took up Aikido lessons in order to defend herself.
4. She's a gamer girl and a forum moderator under the user Luminescence.
5. She's a Multi-instrumentalist. It's her passion.

Family members and your relationship with them/ Who you live with:
Mother:
Ms. Nami Yakamoto

They are very close, like best friends. Momo tells her everything about the happenings of school and even when she doesn't, her mother reads her thoughts and emotions well. She works as a hospital receptionist and adopted Momo when she was a baby. It was during her usual hospital duties that she found Momo and having heard that the baby's parents were not going to keep her, she adopted the child as her own. Ms Yakamoto never lied about Momo not being her biological daughter though so Momo has known all along and it never affected the closeness of their relationship.

Momo

"Hmm.." Momo watched observantly as the student (Akihisa) dragged a few chairs over from the back and started helping her set up the rest of the chairs in that row. He seemed to look at Varthur a bit during this time leading her to be suspicious that he was a senior too and the two boys were acquainted already. He really didn't look or act like a senior though, as when she spotted him earlier he was just standing around as if waiting to be told to do something.. or maybe seniors were like that these days; irresponsible. Then again, maybe he was clueless because he was a fellow junior.. one that wasn't quite aware of what to expect from high school and just like she had, walked into a somewhat eerily empty auditorium confusedly. Not that the hall was empty now, flocks of students seemed to pour in from all directions tempting Momo's nerves to resurface but she managed to contain herself. This school year was going to be much different sure, but she was prepared for anything having done all the research. Momo brushed back a few pink strands of hair away from her forehead, feeling satisfied that she had contributed to her new school almost forgetting entirely about Varthur attending. Her blue eyes shifted to the the guy who had been helping her as he seemed to just be standing there again, clueless. Or maybe simply waiting for something entertaining to happen.

"The name is Kei, I assume the two of you are Juniors" Momo almost toppled over the row she had just finished, taken off guard by the sudden approach of a senior who she hated to admit, was somewhat intimidating with that tone of voice. She could depict that he was confident, having asserted his name so casually which was somewhat impressive but then again, what did seniors have to fear about juniors anyway? They were practically at the very top of the food chain. Momo adjusted her glasses, trying to play it cool as she believed impressions were everything.. especially since today was the very first day afterall. You assume correctly.. say it! "You assume correctly." she replied, looking up only now to really glance at the senior's appearance which lead her to feel even more intimidated. He was quite tall and frankly, looked quite tough and strong too. Momo wasn't quite certain what aspect of him had lead to the conclusion he was 'tough and strong' but she was nonetheless pretty sure he was. She probably appeared to be a midget in size compared to this guy.

Despite everything, she was pretty used to keeping a deceiving calm demeanor in front of others.. even when she was panicking on the inside or unsure of what to do or what next to say. She deemed coping with such an elegant composure as one of her best qualities. It was really only her mother who she couldn't hide it all behind. Her mother could read her as clear as daylight so it was not of any use trying to sneak off or keep secrets. Mrs Yakamoto might as well have been telepathic. "My name is Momo and this is.." She turned, looking over at the other assumed junior (Akihisa) not yet knowing his name. At least he wasn't a senior, and therefore not a possible friend of Varthur's... Oh snap, but Kei could be. she thought, folding her arms with a bored expression deciding to let the guy introduce himself but in the meantime... May we help you? "May we help you?" she asked Kei. The question came out more stupid than it sounded revised in her mind but she wasn't quite sure what else to say. In one way it seemed only right to ask, as he had approached them in the first place. On the other hand, it looked utterly stupid.. a junior asking if they could help a senior. Her thoughts were interrupted by a rather loud 'crash' she thought she heard.. and she wasn't mistaken as she quickly turned her head to scan her surroundings if there had been some sort of accident. Her care for the situation diminished quickly as the source appeared to be Varthur making contact with the wall..painfully so. The only thing she regretted was having not seen how the accident had happened. A devilish smirk surfaced her face as she turned back to her company, though she was highly unaware of it. It had just appeared rather naturally at best.

Momo

The senior Kei reacted to her name by wearing a small smile then nodding his head before looking at the other Junior with her. Momo sighed inwardly which perfectly matched her bored expression but inside she was growing nervous by all the noise created inside the crowded hall. It made her feel insecure, noticing some people demonstrate outgoing qualities and being able to socialise so freely while Momo had that need to build a calmer, composed exterior of a shell until she came along the right people she could call good friends. She used to be like that, pretty outgoing and fun to be with but things drastically changed since..that day. Starting at a new school whilst not really knowing anyone.. Varthur of course excluded, at this point was very nerve- racking for her. In previous years when she was young, she had been picked on for her glasses; teased, ridiculed, called names and even beaten up. Probably the reason why that shell was developing so naturally; because she felt she could hardly trust anyone. Behind the glasses and expression displayed on her face in this situation, she was a nervous wreck but she had too much pride to admit it. This year was going to be different.. it just had to be. For one thing she had matured and acted more confident than she truly was which she hoped would keep people from picking on her again in high school. She had secretly been taking up an interest in sports, thinking it would also help develop her physical ability and therefore allowing her to work around a violent situation much better than she had experienced before. Flashing back onto those times made Momo gulp uneasily but other than that, she looked as normal as could be. "Nope, just thought I would introduce myself, though I am sure that introductions of some sort will be taken care of when the pairings are given out." Kei replied to her question as Momo abandoned thoughts of her past to focus on the now, the present. She waited for a while for him to say something or for the other Junior (Akihisa) to finally come around to introducing himself but neither happened. Kei simply nodded before staring off into the distance of the rest of the hall. As the boys were distracted, Momo raised a pumped up fist in front of her chest trying to regain her excitement about her new school. "Ganbatte!" she exclaimed to herself with a bit of enthusiasm, making sure not to overdo it so she wouldn't look crazy talking to herself. "Hey, I'm Akihisa Yoshii and clearly a junior. I don't know anyone here so I guess in the odd one out." Momo looked down at where Akihisa was sitting before she had mentally slapped herself at him saying he was 'clearly' a junior due to her uncertainty about that the first time they talked. he wasn't as tall as the other seniors but there was nothing wrong or dumb with mistaking a junior for a senior right? He had been staring at Varthur for a while suspiciously so.. maybe he's homosexual. Momo pondered secretly to herself though she was only really half joking. She was well aware that just cause a guy stares at another guy.. doesn't lead to that conclusion.. entirely.

"Testing...1...2...3" Eh? Momo turned around fully to face the front of the hall where the stage was spotting a well dressed, dark haired man with the strangest of red coloured eyes standing there by the microphone. Gosh, he reminded her of Itachi from the anime series Naruto. "Welcome Juniors to.. Airdalen High... and Welcome back Seniors to..Airdalen High.. you may clap now." Momo blinked as it was far from the welcome she had originally expected to receive but nonetheless clapped to be polite about it. She could very well guess that the man was a teacher or at least some member of the high school staff yet he hadn't even expressed his name for them to identify him. Wasn't that the norm for first day introductions? As the clapping ended awkwardly as she would say, the man had more to say and it appeared his lack of spirit for the event was unaltering. "As you all know.. or should..know.. this year we're doing things differently with a Junior and Senior..program.. right.. Seniors please come to the front." Momo nodded, though she knew the instruction wasn't directed at her as she was a junior and so she patiently waited for whatever was to come next once in a while looking over her shoulder and at the front. Sitting down was rather tempting after setting up those very chairs. Akihisa was still around just sitting there and for all she knew could be sharing the same set of classes with her but the fact alone that he was a boy made her hesitate so she stayed standing, fidgetting with the ends of her blazer sleeves. At least the weather is fine today.. she drifted in thought to herself rather lonesome. "Maybe my partner will be a girl and we'll get along really well.. like sisters! she added, trying to have a positive outlook as her patience with each passing second grew thin. "Hi again, hope you still remember me. Momo just like the first meeting, nearly toppled over the chairs. She recognised that intimidating voice rather well by now already. "Just in case, I am Kei and I will be your Senior partner..." She raised an eyebrow, overcoming the shock of being assigned to him and thinking carefully on what to say next. Her usual self would've replied with: "You were just here a few minutes ago..." to support that of course, she was able to remember him. Unlike some, she hadn't met all that many people yet so names weren't hard to get a grasp of so far. Preferring to be polite and show some respect to the senior rather than point out the obvious, she instead responded with, "I see. Should we sit somewhere?" she asked, her eyes catching glimpse of the plastic sleeve he was holding before turning around to where Akihisa was. "Hey Akihisa was it? See you later then.. goodluck with your partner." she said before once again coming face to face with Kei. "You should lead the way, I'm not really sure what we're going to do.." she said, even chucking in a few innocent gestures such as a smile and tucking a pink strand of hair behind an ear without meaning to. What is this?! Junioritis? She scolded herself, knowing full well what they were going to do having read every piece of information on the school site relevant to her. Oh well, she figured she'd give the seniors the benefit of the doubt. Information was power afterall.

Momo

He has a valid point.. but I wasn’t expecting him to reason with me.
Momo listened attentively sitting at a somewhat side angle in her chair to establish better eye contact with her senior as he continued after taking a breather, "But, I think it would be good for me as well to have a Junior. I am already a Senior and I have barely even tried to get involved in school, I have lived for boxing and right now I am not eligible to do it for awhile. So essentially I am without friends due to the fact that I never got around to getting to know any of my fellow Seniors and to top it off I have to try and find another sport and start taking school much more seriously." Wow.. she thought, her eyes fully focused on him as he talked not having been able to foresee that he was without friends like she was. Momo could well enough understand that, what it felt like to go to school where you never really knew anyone. She had been in the same boat as a kid, the only people she knew beyond a casual hi or hello were the bullies who picked on her whenever they felt like without a care in the world. Varthur didn’t even cross her mind as in all honesty they had never gotten to really know each other. But the first time she met him she wouldn’t soon forget.. it had made them enemies right from the very start. He had some nerve approaching her like that. It was sad to hear that he had lived for something, a passion to pursue boxing but for some reason or another was not able to do so anymore. Though curious, it sounded too personal and even though he had said earlier he wouldn’t mind any question.. she still clinged to her caution.

Even as he started to stare off into the distance, her blue eyes were set on his intrigued by what he had shared and so easily too. Momo would have thought having a lack of friends would make it hard to just share stuff with someone you just met. For that, she respected him having the guts to say who he was with no pretences unlike her who had tried so hard to play it cool at the beginning. "Now what I am trying to say is don't worry about being a bother to me because in fact it will be quite the opposite." When he flashed her a smile, she smiled back impulsively feeling like a weight was lifted off her chest and that they were on even ground about this partnering program. She then watched him curiously as he picked up the plastic sleeve and a pen before hurling an offer, "Now, if you want you can ask me some more questions, anything, if you know about this school feel free to ask about me or even tell me about yourself. If not, we can draw some pictures, what do you think?" she chuckled, looking downward with her hand covering her mouth in a very girly style that she tried to hide as the ends of her pink hair slid over her shoulders. She couldn’t help herself as she couldn’t believe how silly she had been judging him as a tough guy and getting intimidated like that when all along he was a alright.. especially for a male. She was thankful she didn’t get allocated a pervert or some other type of jerk to put up with. “Sure!” she nodded pleasantly, with a real warm smile presented on her face.

Momo was too distracted making her oblivious to the mayhem around her, it was only when the ground started shaking that she started to get worried. She spun her head around so her arm leaned over the top of her chair as she started to view and analyse the situation. A tall and well-built but funny looking in fashion-wise male adult was walking through the hall and as he neared where they were sitting, Momo thought she saw her life flash before her eyes as her chair lurched in the direction of next to her where Kei was at. Not wanting to be a fool and make them both fall over, in the short amount of time with enough of a reflex of sorts, she lurched herself forwards instead to return the legs of the chair to its original position- on the floor. However in an unexpected turn, she seemed to have miscalculated leaning forward more than she would like to. Her chair was falling and she started waving her hands in the air in a brisk panic to balance but it was futile as the teacher took his next step towards the stage. Momo fell off the chair entirely, her eyeglasses blown off her face and the side of her body slamming against the floor. She would have been so embarrassed if she was the only student on the floor after that staff member’s walk
and even more embarrassed if she hadn’t decided to wear shorts underneath today. She got up a little sore but started looking around for her glasses immediately on all fours with her hands spread out trying to feel around for it, but was once again interrupted by the man who had just walked in starting this chaos. "Welcome to the mighty fine AIRDALEN HIGH! I'm the Gym teacher and co-ordinator for sports around here Mr. Drone.. you may have heard about me." Only on the site but I will never forget you for this.. she thought irritatingly. A very dark expression on her face that would’ve looked a lot more threatening had she the ability to see right now. Everything looked really blurry at this point. She had ignored most of the speech still looking about for her glasses while the situation had calmed down and whilst the task was made a bit easier when the speech was happening with most people standing still and not moving. "After the long time i've been lateeee! You must have talked to your senior or junior surely and have a few things to write about them! Compliment their hair or their strength or anything else you've come to admire from your first meeting!" Yeah yeah.. Momo thought still annoyed, she had already known about the activities anyway. "After you've done that, we're having a contest." Now there was something they didn’t put up on the school website..

Her hand felt something leathery and it was only when she touched the sole of the shoe did she actually realise it was a shoe. But with her luck running out it turned out to be someone she knew sitting there. “Well Well.. if it isn’t blind as a bat Momo..” She froze recognising that sickening voice as one of the bullies from before. Relying mostly on her hearing, just a bit with the blurriness, she released his shoe and as far as she could tell he had stood up looking down at her. “Looking for your glasses?” he teased, holding them in his hand and waving them around her face. Momo frowned; she was not going to let all of this happen again. She could already predict what he was going to do, drop them, stomp on them and break them to pieces so she’d be forced to walk home gripping on as many fences as she could just to keep herself stable and not stumble clumsily over obstructing obstacles on the streets. “Hmph” she murmured before in an instant, swinging her arm out to majestically hit against his ankle with all her strength, making the senior collapse on his side taken off guard. The good thing about this move was she didn’t require a pin point location of where his foot was, she could briefly estimate with the blurriness and with a whole arm force, she would likely hit something at the very least. As the glasses fell out of his hand, she swayed her own hand about in the air trying to catch it. Okay, the catching part hadn’t occurred to me! Luck returning, she grabbed the bender part it in a knick of time before it made an unfortunate contact with the floor. She placed the glasses on and stood up feeling a bit confident, even going to the lengths of squishing the annoying senior's head with the bottom of her shoe. “Another plan.. perfectly executed.”

Kei Takeda

“Sure!” It was a relief, Momo may have just been nervous but when he told her it wouldn't be a bother she seemed as relieved as he was. When Kei felt the ground shake a bit he automatically knew who it was and he knew they weren't about to draw pictures. The man was always clumsy though, it being a byproduct of his rather monstrous size and that meant they all had a moment until he got to the stage. For the Juniors this would probably be a bit of a moment, they would gawk or something of the sort, not use to the mans size but for the Seniors, at least Kei, he was just another teacher, someone he actually talked to in length before. So Kei simply looked around, hoping to find some amusing looks among the Juniors and as he often did simply take everything in. Akira was where his eyes first wandered, he had noticed her wave earlier but he had been completely centered on trying to convince Momo that her presence as his Junior was anything but inconvenient. He did think of it as rude to ignore a wave from a fellow Senior though, thinking she had always seemed nice and he had thought before that he wouldn't mind getting to know her. He shrugged, there would be time for that because he would be making an effort to speak to more people, especially those he found interesting such as Akira and Varthur being another. Granted he wasn't quite sure how he would do it yet but maybe just going up and saying hello or sometime during the events that would follow. For that to happen they had to listen to what Mr. Drone had to say. He turned his attention back to the brute, not wanting to be caught staring in Akira's direction and also because Mr. Drone was kind of fun to watch. By the time Kei turned back Mr. Drone had began speaking, his attitude as always being a bit off, excitement and an intimidating feel to it. "Welcome to the mighty fine AIRDALEN HIGH! I'm the Gym teacher and co-ordinator for sports around here Mr. Drone.. you may have heard about me."

That was when he realized that Momo wasn't in her seat and he looked around, seeing her on the floor as the speech continued, "Need some help?" His voice was dwarfed by Mr. Drone's though, "After the long time i've been lateeee! You must have talked to your senior or junior surely and have a few things to write about them! Compliment their hair or their strength or anything else you've come to admire from your first meeting!" He took a deep breath and tried to speak again but once more Mr. Drone's voice towered above "After you've done that, we're having a contest." Before he could actually speak and ask if she wanted help finding her glasses she seemed to be crawling around. Kei stood up, getting ready to walk over to her when she seemed to bump into somebody who knew her, though it didn't seem like a friendly meeting. “Well Well.. if it isn’t blind as a bat Momo..” Kei was there, standing just behind her, ready to step in if things went bad but also believing that thinking she needed help right off the bat was a mistake, he would see how things went but he was watching and if things got ugly then he would step in, because he despised bullies... He knew how horrible it felt to be mistreated. When Momo took him down to the floor he didn't do anything but smile, it was a nice hit. He stepped forward after that, “Another plan.. perfectly executed.” "Nice one..." He looked down at the senior, once again a face but this time he didn't even know the mans name. He simply crouched down and looked the man in the eyes, "It was fun watching her deck you but if you try anything again... Well just know I don't make idle threats..." He stood back up with that and turned to Momo, "Come on, let's leave him here and go compliment each other" With that he left the bully on the floor glad he didn't have to make a scene for if he had of lost his cool, something while hard to do was much easier when something like bullying was involved, then it would have ended much worse.

He quickly made his way back to the chairs and put Momo's back in the upright position for her before sitting in his own. He waited for her, looking around as others seemed to not have started or just starting the compliments, luckily the little incident didn't get himself and Momo behind as far as the 'event' went. He decided to get them rolling though, thinking that writing down true compliments was kind of weird when they had known each other for such a short amount of time but he had one that he could write easily enough. So he reached down, taking the paper and pens, taking a piece of paper and immediately writing down his compliment for her. 'An extremely well-prepared person who seems to want the most out of her school experience.' he put a little personal note below 'Wish I had come with the same disposition when I started here' Of course he could actually think of other things to say, how it was cool that she took on that bully or compliment a feature of some sort but thinking about how nervous she seemed to be when they spoke earlier, especially about how she had already researched all about the school he felt it appropriate to comment on that because he for one found it rather cool that she was so well-prepared, it really spoke to how much work she put in to learning about her new environment and whatever the reason he was envious. If he had even put an ounce of the work into learning about the school and those people in it maybe he would be talking to Akira, Varthur and all the other Seniors instead of already being a Senior and still barely having a clue.

Kei Takeda

By the time Kei was finished writing he noticed that Momo was writing on paper of her own which meant he had once again been rather oblivious. He should have given her a pen and a piece of paper as well but she didn't seem angry which he was happy about. He had time once again to look around, it was like that was all he had been doing today and it was a bit weird, he wished he had time to actually go and talk to people but as of now that was not something he could do. He tried to keep his thoughts to himself, though he did notice that Akira was looking over at him and he couldn't help but think they were being a bit ridiculous. So he waved, a quick wave with a small smile trying to not simply look and look away as they both apparently had been, it felt rude. She turned away though and although he wasn't mad or even sure she missed his wave it was a bit comical and he couldn't help but laugh slightly to himself. He quickly looked back to Momo, figuring that once again he would just have to make an effort to actually get to know Akira and talk to her later and focus on the activity and his own partner for now. Focused on the activity at hand, he was eager to get on to finish this activity and get to the next activity which sounded like it would be fun, though he wasn't sure what it would entail yet. He thought him and Momo would do well though, they had a small basis of trust already and since he was athletic and she was academic they would do just fine no matter what the challenge. He watched

Momo as she seemed to be putting a lot of thought into her compliment and he wondered if his had been enough, sure he thought his letter was a good one, it gave a compliment and he didn't think she would dislike it but still, it wasn't everyday he complimented a girl that wasn't his mother. “Are you done yet?” Kei looked at Momo and nodded, he had been done for awhile, another thing that made him a bit nervous, though he tried not to show it as he handed over the little piece of paper to her:

Momo,
'An extremely well-prepared person who seems to want the most out of her school experience.'
'Wish I had come with the same disposition when I started here'
Your Senior Kei

He handed her his letter as he took the one she had written for him, eager to see how he came across, something he had actually never asked anyone before, maybe it would help him. So he looked at her for a brief moment, a bit nervous as he wondered what would happen and then nodded, "Okay let's do this" With that he looked down at the letter:

For Kei :3
A person who I’m sure everyone would love to get to know.
Your honesty, confidence, passion to follow your dream (boxing), kindness and other qualities I am yet to learn about you will take you places.
Never be afraid to show others who you are, okay? :D
Oh and since you’re a senior getting ready for college entrance exams and about what you said regarding studies.. I can study with you sometimes if you want. ><” Just tossing the offer out there if you need any help

From, Momo~

When he finished reading the letter he just stared at it for a moment, he was actually quite surprised. It was supposed to be a compliment letter but this told him a lot that he actually needed to hear. It was nice to think that he came across as a nice guy despite how most people first thought of him. Maybe making new friends wasn't such a long shot, not only that but his new partner had offered to help him study, that alone was uplifting. So he wouldn't be afraid to show other people who he was, his confidence and determination peaked from the letter. Of course he felt a bit depressed that he had to think about boxing, it cut deep thinking that he could possibly never go further than doing it for fun, it seriously had been his dream. That was alright though, he would work hard to find something that gave him that same feeling of satisfaction and make friends along the way. By the look of things this was going to be a great year. Kei looked back up to Momo with a smile, not sure if she had read his but knowing that hers was so much better, or at least in his eyes it was. He just hoped that everyone thought as much of him as Momo did. "Thank you for this, it is a great letter..." Another smile and he leaned back, nervous about what she thought about his.

Kei Takeda

Kei couldn't help but start to wonder if Mr. Drone was every going to speak again, though his conversation with Momo was keeping him tided over for now. “Yes definitely, I’m really enthused to join the Music club..” For some reason he could have guessed she would be interested in the Music club so it didn't surprise him much. “Maybe something else that is more challenging in terms of physical.. don’t want to get out of shape you know?” "Haha, I know what you mean, I have to make sure and keep myself on a strict regime with the amount I eat" He would have said more but he noticed that Momo seemed to be trying to get into the zone, breathing and stretching a tad. He was thinking that having her as his Junior was nice, she was serious and seemed very nice, it made him feel a bit more relaxed. He took a moment to get himself prepared though, just being quiet and staring off into the distance a bit at nothing and taking a single deep breath. He didn't really get nervous before competitions, at least not physical competitions so he was more just taking a breather and trying to relax a bit. It didn't last long though, Mr. Drone soon informed them of the competition. “TIME FOR THE THREE LEGGED POTATO SACK RACE! OH YEAH! BOO YAH!” Kei just looked over at him with a little bit of disbelief, This has to be a joke... A three-legged sack race... I was expecting maybe a relay or some two person sport, but a sack race? Oh well, if that is the competition I guess it's time to sack race. He looked over to Momo who had a raised eyebrow which made him laugh gently, she had about the same reaction that he did. He had honestly been expecting a real sports competition but oh well, maybe this would be fun.

“So you know the other senior in our team?
I guess we should go find them?” Kei looked over, nodding, "Yeah... Well, I know of him..." Kei did know Silas but only by reputation and it didn't speak well of him, well okay that depended on who was talking about him. Some girls liked to say that he was a charming guy but the truth of the matter was he did nothing but flirt and play around with girls and plenty of them would tell it that way as well. Not that Kei could be sure on any of this not having seen much of it himself, save the occasional flirtatious act when they had classes together, but he just felt a bit reluctant to be in the same group, but he wanted to get to know everyone and this was a start. Kei would be just as nice as ever, rumors aside, Silas could be a nice guy for all he knew. Hell Kei was aware people thought he was some sort of felon with all the wounds he came with, his apparently intimidating appearance, and his rather quiet nature which didn't combine well. He looked back to Momo, "Alright, let's go find Silas and his partner..." With that he began to scan the crowd, to his surprise seeing Silas being pushed towards him by Akira. He laughed to himself looking back to Momo again, "The one being pushed this way is Silas..." He turned back around and waited for Akira to push Silas right next to him. Seeing her panting from the effort he had to hold back another small laugh, finding it rather funny, or cute rather, he liked the way she acted. "U-uhm my friend here seems forgetful. Hi, he's your partner today, him and his Junior." "Thank you for bringing him over Akira" He gave her a bit of a smile, trying not to make it awkward after the silly game they had both played, he wanted to get to know her as well as other people and if it was awkward from the start that would be no good, he was already bad enough at socializing. His eyes moved to Silas, wondering where his partner was and thinking they would have to wait for her to start discussing game plans. He did think that maybe Silas didn't know who he was though, which was why Akira had to show him to Silas, though she went the extra mile and brought him over, once again Kei thought it was cute how hard she tried. Then again that was besides the point, "Well I am Kei and this is Momo." He introduced himself and Momo to Silas, he wasn't quite sure what to say without his partner being here so he simply ended it at the introduction, not being so great at starting small talk.

Momo

Well.. you know of him..? Why does your pause make it sound like a bad thing.. hmm.
Momo pondered over it for a while but came to the realisation she’d find out sooner or later being teamed with whoever this ‘Silas’ was. She was more than definite that Kei had some kind of knowledge on the senior or at least an impression that had lead him to speak in such a way. "Alright, let's go find Silas and his partner..." “Roger that.” Momo replied in good spirits, picking up her bag and about to stand up to start walking until he began laughing much to her confusion. "The one being pushed this way is Silas..." Momo nodded, sitting back down in her seat and turning her head to where Kei’s gaze was focused. She watched as a girl..boy..no definitely girl (Akira) from this distance was shoving a male blonde their way who she assumed to be Silas. "U-uhm my friend here seems forgetful. Hi, he's your partner today, him and his Junior." The female (Akira) greeted pointing to the junior (Maya) a bit further away before panting from the amount of effort she put into getting their team member there. Uh..okay.. Momo thought, still confusedly. Surely Silas had his legs fully functional to walk himself over right? The approach made her think a few things; that maybe Silas was lazy, shy or just liked to make things difficult for others like his friend (Akira) with him. They must have been friends if she tried so hard to get him into the activity. "Thank you for bringing him over Akira" Momo adjusted her glasses to look at the girl again now knowing she was a senior too since Kei was familiar with her. From close up she was most definitely female that Momo felt a bit guilty mistaking her for a male. She was happy though that she didn’t make the mistake verbally. "Well I am Kei and this is Momo." Her senior introduced them making her snap out of her thoughts, “Ah right! Pleasure to meet you two Akira and Silas..” Momo said feeling slightly delayed. It did hit her like a sudden wave how good looking most students at Airdalen High were including those before her. ..

Another senior (Devone) seemed to approach making Momo feel more like shrinking in her seat being the only junior thus far in the group. The other junior (Maya) was yet to join. "Hey.. anyone in this group named Kairen or Akihisa.. and looking for a Devone? Can't seem to see Moki in this godforsaken hall.." "Hi, yeah, we have Akihisa, that kid over there is Akihisa..." She let the female seniors talk amongst themselves, turning to look at both Kei and Silas at an attempt to regain her composure. “So for the potato sack section of the race, I propose that the two selected individuals of the team that compete in their sacks help hold each other up.. I mean..” Momo was nervous as she thought she was rambling again and these were seniors she was talking to. Maybe they would think she was a junior who was full of herself to suggest a strategy and not let them take lead.. then again she didn’t like losing at anything. Concluding that, she continued speaking with enhanced confidence- her overachiever side taking the reins. “Hopping alone in a sack is hard enough but what more with two people? They need to balance each other’s weight and therefore I think it would be best if the two held hands in the middle. I know it sounds lame or gay if you two decide to do it together but I think it’s a good way to approach the task at hand. We could resort to arms over shoulders but if one lost balance, then both would be brought down to the ground. Holding hands you’d have a higher chance of correcting one another and this could actually even be applicable to the three legged section as well if followed through correctly
does anyone disagree or have a contagious fear of cooties?” she put forth her idea with a slight joke at the end though her expression was very much serious, looking at them both for any input. Momo dropped her bag on her seat as she stood up, jerking a thumb over her shoulder in the direction of the stage. "Great, now that we have an understanding I guess I'll get the ribbon and sack." she said being a bit assertive about it but she did remain standing by them in case they had anything to add.

Maya Kenkon

"N-No, we'd kill eachother...e-end of story”

“Aww

.”, the brunette pouted slightly, “Well then maybe he could be the psychotic guy who kills everybody and is one of the last to get killed himself.” Her burgundy eyes were suddenly alight with joy.”That’s would be awesome! He could definitely pull off the role of Kiriyama, though definitely not better then Masanobu-dono“During the throes of fan girl bliss she noticed that Akira introduced herself, “It’s nice to meet you too Akira, besides, you I think you look pretty in the uniform!” Glancing over at Kumi and Silas she couldn’t help frowning at the attention she was receiving. She wasn’t jealous, hell, she was the one who shot his flirtatious advantages down. But part of her wished that she could wear tight clothes like that, Kumi did look very cute in them. But her father and brothers had insisted on her wearing such an ensemble, custom made long skirt that went a little above her ankles along with a sweater and top that were a made for a girl much taller than her. “ Don’t trust him!”,she said energetically to Kumi, ”He’s going to give you Chlamydia just by talking to you.” Her explanation of how Silas was going to eat her up like a demon was cut short as Akira pulled him away. “I think she likes you” A grin plastered itself across her features at the possibility of a shoujo-ai romance situation before she rushed off to join her senior ,who was probably glad to be away from her for a few brief moments.

“You’re not getting away from me that easily”, she chirped as she rushed to stand beside him, her face glowing with optimism. She gently patted his head like a dog before turning her attentions to the pair in front of her. "I'm his junior " She glanced over at Akira and chuckled at her flushed face, partially glad that she wasn't the only one having difficulties with him. Even though Silas probably wanted her to stay behind she was going to press on no matter what.“You must be the people who are paired with us. I’m going to save you the surprise and tell you that you may be screwed because I’m a mess in the physical department.” Her smile never faded as she gave them this information, almost as if the fact that they may lose amused her. “But don’t worry, I’ll try my hardest no matter what!”,she raised her fist in the air and let out a bright chuckle. Calming down slightly, she studied them a bit before saying, “You must be Kei
.and you must be Momo!” She immediately latched herself to the female before saying, “We’re gonna be great friends!” She then repeated the action with Kei before introducing herself. “I’m Maya Kenkon! And this is Silas” She pointed to the pissed blonde, “Be careful, he’s going to probably hit on you” She shook her head at Momo, mouthing ‘He’s bad news’ It was her personal revenge for when Silas had insulted her behind her back, she wasn’t dumb even though she acted too happy sometimes for people to consider her smart.

Holding hands you’d have a higher chance of correcting one another and this could actually even be applicable to the three legged section as well if followed through correctly
does anyone disagree or have a contagious fear of cooties?”

Maya raised her hand slightly before saying "No but I'm sure he has more than cooties." She pointed to Silas with a good natured smile adorning her features.

Silas Fuerst

"N-No, we'd kill eachother...e-end of story. And Kumi, it's my job to protect her from lecherous seniors like our friend Silas here.." "Lecherous? Never." He smirked at Akira; "They always ask me for it." She scolded him, then leaned in, tugging his shoulder down. He bent his head to listen. "One minute you looked miserable, then partially content, I was going to save you, but your mixed signals were confusing. Are...you okay, or are you oddly enjoying her company? Nod once for yes, blink twice for no.." Silas chuckled as she pulled away, and gave her a wink. Her concern was sweet, but her faith in him was a little lacking. I have never needed saving. This is all a game. And I play it well. It was a game; this school, the fights... the sighs of lust. Trifles. In the end, what did they garner him? Nothing worth more than a fleeting glance. So what if he messed with their heads? Their hearts? The alternative- the dull, boring, life that his father had fated for his future could wait. For now he was going to live; fast, hard and reckless. He was going to keep running, and not look back. She was joking if she thought a little Junior would be able to get in his way.

Haven't I showed you? Time and time again. ...No one controls me. No one can catch me.

Fate; he'd always been able to dictate it here. Here he was still free. ... For one more year. "Silas, you know for a fact I'm not a guy, they've already figured me out..!" He flashed her a cheeky smile. It was nice. Here with her. She didn't know him, and he didn't know her... but times like these were healing. She was strong of spirit, nippy; a little like that small cat who Brummer, his German Shepherd, had tried to eat yesterday.... Quick and lithe- taunting him from a higher ledge. Ah, KĂ€tzchen. I am glad I met you. She was one of the few who could walk through his wildfire without getting burnt...

"Kumi Midori. Nice to meet you Silas." "Kumi..." He let the word roll of his tongue slowly. "What a cute name.." Silas felt a hand grab his before he could reach out and take the green haired girl's; "I will GLADLY escort you to Kei..." Akira pulled him away, rather suddenly. "What's this? Running interference?" Look who's jealous~. For you, I won't touch her... Hmh. That's a lie. He laughed, "Well alright Ref." Does she know how hard she is gripping my fingers?... "Too bad, I guess you've got no heroine. The lone hero, all by himself, his handsome figure fading as the wind slowly ages him.." There was a pause, and Akira's strides quickened. "Handsome." Silas repeated under his breath. His eyes did not miss the way she ducked her head slightly, before recovering. ... This has either made things clear... or muddled them. He broke his eyes away from the back of her head, deciding not to dwell on it. A simple comment after all... Words are fickle things. What was that noise? Was she panting...? He looked down at her arm, straining as she pulled him forward. Oops. "You need to lose some weight there mate.." "What are you talking about? I'm not fat." Silas put his hand in his pocket, watching her make a big deal out of being exhausted, lifting up the bottom of his shirt lazily; "What? ...These not hard enough for you?" Cocking his head to the side, he smirked.

"U-uhm my friend here seems forgetful. Hi, he's your partner today, him and his Junior." I'm not forgetful... I just didn't know who he was. Silas' eyes examined Kei. Well built. Strong shoulders, good stance... He glanced down at the boy's hands. .. Calloused knuckles. A fighter. Perhaps a boxer? "Well I am Kei and this is Momo." "Erfreut. Silas." He smiled at Kei, offering his hand, then did the same to Momo. "Hold on..." He turned away, yelling loudly over his shoulder; "MAYA!", Then turned back, an easy smile returning. "My junior." He said simply, gesturing to the approaching girl. "She's clumsy, so she'll need to be... helped." “You’re not getting away from me that easily.” Wouldn't dream of it... Maya patted his hair... On the nape of his neck; Not really being able to reach the top of his head. "I'm his junior. You must be the people who are paired with us. I’m going to save you the surprise and tell you that you may be screwed because I’m a mess in the physical department. But don’t worry, I’ll try my hardest no matter what!” She almost hit him in the jaw as she raised her hand enthusiastically.

Annoying little.. “Be careful, he’s going to probably hit on you.” Silas sighed. Just what he needed. Though, I suppose my reputation precedes me already...

The pink haired girl, Momo, spoke. Smart. But textbook smart. Everything is different in practice, love. "Holding hands is a good idea." He glanced down at Momo. She's too small... "It would be better one per." He said, addressing Kei. There's no way the girls would survive paired together... especially with Maya. "Who's a faster runner? Me or you?" "No but I'm sure he has more than cooties." Silas smiled tightly, irked, turning his back on Maya purposefully and bent down to Momo to explain; "I'm trying to save you from that, dear. There's no way you'd keep her upright. She's got to be in the sack, as she has no coordination even when walking normally." He smirked. "The question now is, with whom?"

Akira

(OOC: Sorry if it's short and choppy, I'm taking 8 classes now...xD and I slept in tonight/went back to school today)

"I do not!" Akira snapped at Maya's statement about her, "I don't like anyone like that..I have to get my grades up, I don't want to live minimum wage for the rest of my life. I don't have the time for highschool romance. It never ends well anyway.. someone always gets hurt.." she added with a frown at Maya's comment, her face still a dark red. This girl was too observative. Maya, this junior was surely going to be the end of her! Akira turned her attention back to Silas, "You're always so difficult." and she rolled her eyes, "I'm not letting you near Kumi, I thought you could behave, but it seems I never cease to overestimate you Silas." Akira had stopped when he repeated what she'd accidentally slipped out about finding him handsome, "Yeah, so? I was just picking on you. I tend to keep myself at a friendly distance from the wild fire if you haven't noticed.. it was just a harmless compliment." And with that, she rolled her eyes, "You are definitely getting fat." she stuck her tongue out at him, pushing his shirt back down. Akira knew that Silas wasn't fat, but any more embarrassment and she'd end up fleeing to her favorite spot on the roof and Varthur, Kumi and Jack would be partnerless, "Silas, did you ever think some of us could live without being flashed?" she crinkled her nose as if she found it disgusting, slapping his shoulder. What was she doing? She could NOT do this her senior year, it was unacceptable. Silas was her friend, nothing more. Why was she getting so upset when he was flirting with Kumi? It never bothered her when he flirted with other girls. She could not start liking Silas now. She knew what he did with girls, she didn't feel like being the next chew toy, fun for a while then tossed aside like an old shoe. Akira knew that she had to focus on her grades this year if she wanted to get in a good college, so she didn't have time to worry about a boy.

She'd gotten trapped in her thoughts, and she jumped as Kei spoke, Akira nodding at him, "No problem Kei." She smiled sweetly, trying to recover from her previous encounter with Silas. This was going to be a very long year, Maya got her to say something she didn't mean to say at all.. then she noticed the pink haired girl that had caught her attention like a zillion times before today and she smiled at Momo, "Sorry.. nice to meet you as well." she smiled to the pink haired girl, "Seems you got a cute junior too Kei." she added with a grin, "This is a good year."

Akira smiled a bit when she heard Varthur, spinning on her heel, executing it perfectly and swiftly, "Oh, hey, sorry, had to show Silas to Kei, he doesn't seem to remember male faces as much as females." She rolled her eyes, " It's perfectly fine.. I'm sure we'll figure out a way for you to do perfectly fine.." Akira watched Varthur dumbfounded for a moment before reaching out and putting his arms at his sides manually without thinking about it, "Hey, we need to work on a game plan, calm down first, freak out later.. I really understand how you feel right now, but I don't want to lose to HIM." She pointed at Silas and stretched her arms to not be as obvious. When Varthur asked who her junior was, she froze mid stretch and blinked for a moment then pointed at Kumi, "Thats my junior right there, but we're already kind of friends instead of 'junior and senior'." She added with a grin, "Adorable isn't she? Though she might get mad at me for saying that.." then she tapped her chin, "The one running with the ribbon runs by themself right? I didn't understand Mr. Drone that well...he's...eccentric to say the least. " She could run pretty fast by herself, but being tied to someone else is what would drag her down if she did the three-legged-race part.. then she noticed how worried Varthur seemed to be, and she gave him an encouraging smile, "I'll help you with sports if you help me study?" She offered him as well, holding out her hand, "Deal?" she wanted to get to know more people, and seeing as Varthur was smart, he could help her study as she got to know him. It was a win, win situation right?

MOMO

Nice catch.
Momo thought with relief as she was lifted back to her feet. "Easy enough" “I guess so.” Momo said in response as her eyes drifted around the room as Sera moved for her turn. Varthur was still knocked to the ground, Akira and Silas were talking with a pink haired girl relaxing on the bench next to them (Miami) and Kei as well as Maya were nowhere to be seen. And nobody is doing the trust fall exercise except us.. so first days at Airdalen aren’t taken seriously? she concluded lifting her hand to fix her glasses out of habit but remembered she wasn’t wearing any. The contacts are working out well today.. she thought, though things barely changed glasses or no glasses. The gym looked sort of empty as well compared to yesterday where everyone was so lively and actively participating in the three legged sack race. It made her kind of sad that the same enthusiasm wasn’t applied in classes. But surely everyone was hyped about the beach excursion.. except for her finding it awkward to have to wear a tight swimsuit in front of stranger guys.

"Alright Momo, try not to drop me and if you do at the very least cushion my fall." Sera said with a laugh regaining her attention. “Hai.” Momo said obediently turning around with her arms extended ready to move in to catch her friend. She wasn’t dropped so she didn’t want to let the other girl down either. Cushion fall.. she thought only now really reading into her words. I’m not that weak looking am I? Momo’s low self-esteem on appearances started to act up. She gasped as Sera started falling, scolding herself in the confines of her mind to pay more attention and luckily managing to catch her partner in time. That was close.. Momo helped the tall girl back up on her feet like the girl had done for her before falling back into thought. I wonder what I’ll be doing at the beach then.. the other girls are probably going to take the opportunity to impress the guys. I hope nothing ridiculous happens.. Momo looked back at Sera not wanting to seem rude by thinking to herself for that long. “Hey Sera.. you wouldn’t by any chance know a junior called Maya?” Momo said, trying to initiate conversation with the first thing she thought of. “You see, I made a bet with her and I lost and I was supposed to carry out the dare today but she isn’t here.” She explained briefly before her eyes narrowed imagining her cosplaying. Momo had honestly never done such a thing not even a normal game of dress up as a child. She really didn’t find amusement in one pretending to be something they are not.

The bell rang for end of classes and dismissal..

MOMO

Sera seemed to be deep in thought since Momo mentioned the other junior Maya and the bet. She had a bad intuitive feeling judging from the delay and her expression as she thought that Sera knew something and whatever it was, it wasn’t nice. "I do know her, I saw her this morning in fact, a fight broke out between her and Akira and I haven't seen her since.” It first started with washed over relief that Sera was willing to share what she knew on Maya and the fact she was seen this morning, followed by an instant feeling of dread as the sentence continued. Fight? Akira? Momo’s eyes shook with shock at what could have possibly happened. Maya was just a cheerful junior and Akira was a senior that Kei happened to like. What could the fight have possibly been caused by? The two seemed so nice.. and it had only been the second day of schooling. What could have possibly gone wrong? ”She seemed fine but she may have gone home or to the clinic, I am not sure." Sera concluded on the topic but Momo still felt uneasy. Momo knew sometimes Maya could make people uncomfortable with her lack of personal space but would it really annoy someone like Akira? Did Kei know about this? And Akira was a senior and Maya a junior.. it didn’t seem right at all. Many questions kept swarming her head and she didn’t know what to think but having to hear that someone as cheerful as Maya went home with the cosplay dare in mind to look forward to wasn’t right and neither was heading to the clinic unless she was hurt. And Maya didn’t seem like a crybaby, being clumsy but getting back on her feet as if nothing happened. This is..just wrong. Momo thought, a puzzled sad look reaching her face that she barely heard the bell ring. "Look at that, the day is over and now we are one step closer to fun at the beach." Sera beamed with a reassuring smile and Momo weakly attempted one back. ”Come on, let's go grab our stuff and get out of here." She nodded, following after Sera quietly sparing a glance at the gym one last time to where Silas and Akira were. Hm.. her eyes narrowed as Akira appeared no different from the friendly senior she met on day one.

Back at the girl’s changing rooms, Momo was sitting down removing her sneakers seeming to take longer to change compared to the first time. It just worried her, whatever happened between the two girls. It couldn’t have been good for Maya to disappear like that so Akira must have won the fight which was expected as a senior. Verbal or Physical.. if it’s a clinic it must have been physical.. When her shoes were off, she leaned back still lost in thought. But where’s the proof.. She snapped, sitting upright remembering an important detail. When Akira was sitting by herself and I pointed at her for Kei.. there was a weird mark on her forehead.. a fight mark? She face palmed. I’d ask Sera but she so joyfully moved on from the topic.. so I don’t think she wants to tell me more or she doesn’t know any more than what she already said. Momo got up, removing her sports top over her head to replace with her normal school uniform with her back turned to Sera for a bit of extra privacy. Not that she was uncomfortable changing in front of other girls, they were all girls so it wasn’t a biggie. Wearing a swimsuit in front of guys though felt like a great deal with or without a crush, she’d be nervous either way. Momo closed her locker, slipping the padlock before finally initiating conversation after their time spent in the gym. “Thanks for catching me.” Momo said with a small smile as she looked Sera’s way. “We were the only ones doing the exercise but I’m glad we did it..” Momo added, lightly stroking her fingers through her pink hair realising it was still tied up in a ponytail. Oh right.. She undid the hair tie, slipping the band around her wrist so her hair was let down. “So what do you get up to at home time?” she asked, but she felt as if her cheeriness had faded since the news. It had toned down a notch, still making effort to communicate but it was like she wasn’t entirely there with pieces of her drifting to numerous occurrences that could have transpired between her new friend Maya and this senior, crush of Kei; Akira.

Momo

Ganbatte..
Momo thought as she stood and stared at the two pairs of swimsuits lying on the bed covers. One of them, her mother bought in case she changed her mind and wanted to wear a bikini to fit in more. Glareglareglare.. she thought, leaning forward and staring on at the choices with her hands firmly placed on the bed's edge as if the swimmers could jump up and attack her at any given moment. Momo sighed, tossing both in her luggage as it were the last items she had to pack. She couldn't decide right now though she knew most likely when the time came, she'd be grabbing the one piece in an instant. Just in case.. she reasoned, her small slender hands grabbing the handle of the bag only to find it was extremely heavy and she couldn't lift it. .... Good thing it has wheels. She was very careful dragging the wheeled bag down the staircase taking one step a time, aware both her and the luggage could fall down it at any wrong move or careless act. That would be bad going to the beach with an injury. she kept in mind, successfully reaching the bottom of the stairs and wiping her forehead with relief. "Momo have breakfast!" Her mother said from the kitchen making her daughter smile. "Coming!" Momo answered cheerfully, leaving her luggage by the door and skipping to the kitchen to help her mum set the table if she hadn't already. She wasn't excited about going to the beach or the trip in general yesterday but today, it was really building up inside of her. It was such a warm pleasant feeling that she would get to know everyone better and enjoy the company of the friends she had already made, unlike back in her previous school. She could really sense herself opening up rather than staying quiet and isolated in the corner. The changes was happening all too quickly but she liked where it was headed.

When the time came for her to wish her mother well and leave with a parting hug, she felt an ounce of guilt appear at leaving her alone in the house even though Momo knew the trip was a part of school. "Call me if you need me." Momo said with a frown making her mother laugh. "That's what I'm supposed to say!" Her mother exclaimed. They both laughed before Momo waved, closing the gate behind her and rolling her bag down the sidewalk behind her. Mr. Drone was right..it sure does look nice and sunny today.. she thought tapping the bottom of her chin with her index finger thoughtfully. It wasn't long before she neared the school and saw two boys in sight hanging by the gate; Kei and Varthur. Momo couldn't really tell what was going on. Varthur looked to be talking to Kei while walking backwards and getting hurt as usual. What really confused her was why Kei and Varthur were talking together in the first place and so casually too. She remained quiet as she passed them, her head hung low deciding it was none of her business but she couldn't help but feel a little betrayed by her senior. Her mood was starting to dampen. Akira.. and now Varthur? But how can I complain.. he's making friends. she thought before pausing in her steps to take a deep breath. It's really none of my business.. She moved her head side to side in search for other people she knew like Sera and Maya but turned out even more disappointed. Sera hadn't arrived yet and Maya hadn't either. I hope you're okay.. she thought, her hand scrunching up against her chest trying to cling to a bit of hope that the fight's consequences wasn't as terrible as it appeared to be.

Momo heard a noise in the distance and tilted her head trying to see who was hiding behind the surfboard to recognise another junior named Bishop. They hadn't really held a conversation yet beyond the introductions since the idiot Varthur dragged her away during the picnic so she decided to take the opportunity to get to know him better. As she approached, he placed the surfboard aside and folded his arms looking impatient and a bit worried? "Hi.. Bishop correct?" she asked, her hand falling away from her chest to her side as her other hand remained on the handle of her bag. "Just thought I'd stop by and say hi since the first time we didn't really get to talk properly.." she said trying to be friendly and putting on a smile. "Are you okay? You look a bit worked up if I may so.." she added, tilting her head again only this time to the other side, curious.

Momo

He remembered my name too.. That’s nice.
Momo smiled back but then Bishop’s original smile changed to a frown making her start to regret posing the question on how he was. Maybe I was being insensitive.. She was about to apologise as he sighed and rubbed the back of his head and for a moment she thought he would avoid the question altogether. "Yeah, I'm alright... So you haven't heard huh?" Momo blinked consequently not understanding what he was referring to but somewhat glad he wasn’t avoiding at all like she thought. “Heard what?” she asked confusedly, placing her free hand on her hip as her other hand remained firm on the handle of her wheeled bag. "There was a bit of a conflict yesterday.... In short, Akira was beating up Maya.” Momo’s eyes widened having her suspicions confirmed in an instant. ”And from a distance, I thought she was a boy seeing she has that uniform and stepped in." Her hand tensed on the bag’s handle not sure what to do about it but she was trying hard not to react to the confirmed information and keep the best composed look she could muster. "And now because of how the fight ended, Akira thinks I'm a pervert.... I don't know how many other people she's told about this." Bishop said obviously troubled by the worn out expression on his face. Her eyes softened, the hand on her hip sliding off as she tried to relax and loosen up. So there really was a fight.. and Maya was.. being beaten by Akira. It made her so angry. What more evidence did she need with Sera and Bishop confirming it? They had no reason to lie about it and they were her fellow juniors making her feel like at some point she should side with them. Akira was a senior and her fighting with a junior just gave off the impression of bullying. Kei said he doesn’t like bullies.. but he’s making friends with one.. She thought of Varthur with her eyes narrowing as she stared at her shoes. Make that two..

"But that's it... I'm sure it's not as bad as I think it is." Momo looked up trying to pull off a smile. “I hadn’t even heard about the rumour until you mentioned it.. so it can’t be that big a rumour after all. Plus I don’t think you’re a pervert.. I know one when I see one.” She looked back down at her shoes again. "Sorry..." she heard him say not understanding what he had to be sorry about. “Uh actually.. I should be thanking you. Thanks for doing that for Maya..” Momo said still in disbelief. She didn’t want to conclude that her senior was a bad person too but he was hanging around the wrong bunch. It couldn’t have all been an act, could it have been? She felt herself shake with uneasiness. Momo wasn’t used to having friends so she found herself getting attached far too easily to the new faces at Airdalen. It was hard for her to bare the confusing circumstances especially just as she was starting to enjoy the company. Ahh! Momo thought, surprised as a set of arms wrapped around her neck from a person standing behind. "Morning girl. Look at you, talking to a good looking guy and the day has just started." Momo recognised the voice as Sera’s which was comforting. She didn’t want to be grabbed by a complete stranger. She'd kick their ass.. and pray it didn’t ruin her school record. She turned her head a little to look back at Sera, smiling. It was comforting to see another friend just as she was about to break down. Normally she would be bashful at such statements, but she had too much on her mind to really notice.

“Morning Sera.” She said as cheerfully as possible, her hands coming up to lightly hold onto the girl’s arms wrapped around her under her chin. She managed to catch Sera’s eyes shift for a second to where Silas was standing by the gate. Hm? she thought, remembering yesterday and Silas intervening during the basketball game. “Did something happen?” she said her thought but quietly as her head moved back to the front facing Bishop. “Oh by the way..” Momo moved her head upwards as her friend was tall, it was easier to view her face that way. “Sera this is Bishop..” she started introducing as she lowered her head back to normal level to look at the boy. “And Bishop this is Sera.. just in case you two haven’t met
” she said, tilting her head childishly before adding. “You weren’t at class Bisho-” She paused and gulped. Maybe.. just maybe that fight happened while I was attending class with Sera.. that’s why Maya never came.. it explains why Bishop never came
She thought back a bit more, biting her lower lip. Akira went back to class since I saw her talking with Kei.. maybe what happened to Maya.. was worse.. I hate to think that but.. Without even herself realising, Momo was crying through her contacts; tears running down her cheeks in silence and landing on the top of her polished shoes. She was as frozen as a doll albeit a weeping doll. If anyone asked, she would admit Maya was clumsy and that she didn't want to do the Cosplay dare but a friend was a friend. Probably her first in-real female friend and that’s all she needed to know to care about it. She’s still not here at school. Something’s wrong. I should’ve been there.. I should've known.

MOMO

"Ooiii, Momo!" Momo turned around, looking at the back of the bus on a side angle. She didn’t expect Akira to look at her that way, with cold and narrowed eyes. For a moment she was even confused why the senior had called out to her in the first place. Is this about Maya? she hoped. Her hand stayed on Silas’ head so he wouldn’t lean on Kei’s shoulder again. She would have just spoken about Kei’s injury instead but she wasn’t sure if it was a secret he wanted to keep. She felt trusted with that information and didn’t want to make him regret telling her anything. " Lecture him about manners all you want, but can you please exhibit some and quit contradicting yourself? You PRIDE yourself in someone elses pain, I see it, you laugh. Don't think I haven't noticed.." Pride in someone else’s pain..? Momo revised the words in her head still confused. She wasn’t hurting Silas, just keeping his head upright to avoid extra weight on Kei in case it was his injury location. She wasn’t proud of it either, if she had her way she wouldn’t be touching Silas at all. But Kei didn’t seem like the type to complain and she didn’t want her senior to endure it either if it could cause any pain. Why is she hating on me all of a sudden?”You don't understand why I fought Maya, just as I don't understand why you tried to hurt Varthur and got him hurt.." she saw Akira's smirk. Hurt Varthur? He’s the one who was going to hurt me.. you don’t know anything. she thought, her fist clenching as she remembered her previous school where bullying was an everyday occurrence and even more clenching at the smirk she was wearing. None of this should even be found enjoyable.

"He's a guy and you're a girl, keep your hands off of him while you do it. It's only fair. Why pick a fight with someone who can't morally hit you back? Shove you away? It's not fair to the guy. If he did any of that, every single guy on this bus would hold it against him because you're a girl. It's stupid! Sera, I thought you said you liked Silas? If you do, I would appreciate you stop your little cotton candy poodle." Momo was used to things like this, being called names, putting up with it. This was different though, this was high school and her plan was never to let bullies get away with it. Never again. Especially as Akira had called her friend Sera into it. Sera had nothing to do with this little anger fit the senior was having at her. "I don't want to fight anyone else, I'd probably get my ass kicked if I fight you. However, Silas is my friend so I really don't give a damn. Either let the boys handle it, or you ask him nicely." "I hate girls like you and Maya who think you can lay hands on boys as you please. He didn't hurt you now did he? You think you can push all the guys around because you've got a lot of strength. Varthur, Silas, who is next Momo?" Akira rambled on and heads turned, everyone on the bus was probably attuned and made aware. Are you trying to make a fool out of me Akira.. she thought, getting a bit angry. It just all seemed so exaggerated and uncalled for. "I've heard about you just as I am sure that you have heard about me. At least my reason was because they actually HURT a friend of mine! You just throw your fists for your own benefits and biases!" Akira snapped at her. You talk plenty.. but you don’t know anything
let me tell you. Momo was ready to speak her mind but Akira just rambled on. "Silas may be the school tramp, but he is not someone you just are allowed to grab like that. So if you have a problem bring your happy preppy ass back here.." Momo sighed, letting go of Silas’ so It fell to the other side, not Kei’s shoulder. “I won’t tell..” she whispered with sad eyes, looking at Kei then his shoulder to show why she was doing what she did. Would you even stand up for me against your crush? I don't know.. But I'll deal with this myself.

She dusted her hands off, fully facing the back. She wasn’t used to doing things like this, speaking her point of view so loudly in front of everyone. She preferred to do what she was told, move to the back of the bus and sort it out from there but she had a feeling that would just end in violence. Plus the wrong impressions Akira was planting on her.. was just wrong. "You hate girls like me do you?” she asked, glowering at her shoes with her heart racing at the tension before lifting her head full of confidence. She just knew she was standing in the right here, her fists clenching. “Hate is a very strong word for someone you don’t really know.. so I won’t say I hate you back.” She said in a calm tone but loud enough for her to hear. “If you thought what I did was wrong then you’re just making matters worse
screaming like that in front of all the students here. If anyone has pride it’s you
saying I wave my fists when I was merely holding his head up so it won’t lean on Kei for reasons I can not disclose.” She took a step forward. “I’ve heard the accusations, rumours against you yet I choose not to act. You know why? Because I hardly know you.. I don’t hate without reason, I do not spread untrue rumours like you did with Bishop, I do not deal with problems with my fists like you did with Maya.. I do not call people I don’t know names. Two wrongs or rather the so many wrongs you have committed don’t make a right.” She lectured taking another step. “You challenging me does not solve anything
so let’s be civilised here.” She suggested, managing to remain in a calm tone the whole time. Her eyes focused solely on Akira whilst her head focused solely on her friends. “If you have a problem with me, that’s fine. But don’t you dare talk to me about looking out for your friends if you get on the bad side of mine. It’s not all about you. Not once, did you ever consider asking these people their reasons. THEIR reasons.. to clear out any misunderstandings so I shall clear mine and let’s hope you listen. As what I have stated already.. I was simply not wanting Silas to lean on Kei for reasons I can not disclose and I admit, I have a bias because I hate womanizers.. but I have not thrown a hit at him like you did with Maya.. you can not deny that fact.” She crossed her arms as a sign of standing her ground. “You’re a senior.. you should be setting a good example for us juniors not provoking a fight because you see something you don’t like
So next time, remember this and try listening to the reasons of others maybe. “ All this because I was holding his head? I’ve seen her lecture him as I have, she must really like him.. she thought looking at her to see if she was going to continue her ranting.

MOMO

"People like you make me sick, ya know that? She's right, you SHOULD be setting a good example for juniors! Your acting like a freaking MENTAL patient! It's clear your in love with Silas, and only idiots wouldn't see it by the way your screaming at her!" The girl she had just gotten introduced to named Miami started defending her. She was left speechless with a bit of joy at how nice people were being. In her previous school no one would defend her, at Airdalen she was never alone. It was quite a revelation though when Miami compared Akira to a murderer and walked right up to her, "Your spreading FALSE rumors about my friend! And I don't take kindly to that. He didn't know you were a girl, so maybe you should eaither get bigger freakin' boobs or the GIRL'S uniform!" Uh.. she thought, thinking that was kind of true, that Akira should get a girl’s uniform to avoid less confusion but that the ‘boobs’ comment was unnecessary so it took her a bit off guard at the very mention being a conservative person. When Miami was done, Momo was still frozen in place overwhelmed by everything. If Miami hadn’t taken her hand gently and ushered her to return to her seat, she probably would have stood there for a while immovable. Back in her seat, she was still stiff. Things still didn’t feel alright and sorted out yet. "Oi, do you have a phone number guys so we can swap numbers?" Huh..? Momo glanced back, Miami had her cellphone out and ready. It seemed her new friend could calm down fast but Momo couldn’t. At least not yet. "Yeah, well, I know I'm not perfect. I'm far from it. the senior continued and Momo could only do so much as to bear it. That’s just an excuse.. Nobody is perfect but that doesn’t mean everyone has the right to be mean and humiliate people particularly ones they don’t know.

"She is full of it... We know that..." she caught Sera mutter to Bishop and it was then that she saw how distressed he was. “I’m sorry Bishop.. I was just trying to clear your name as well..” she apologised genuinely. "As for Maya, did you even hear about her after school activities? You claim to hate bullies? I'll gladly TELL you once we're off the bus, your mafia friend is worse than anyone on this bus." Mafia
what? Momo thought confused, looking back where Akira was standing. "I'm sure Sera is just trying to protect your feelings, and I will give her my admiration for that, it's really nice of her. I know I just flew off the handle, but you are right, you don't know me. You don't have what I have had to watch and put up with in the last three days, so before you call me childish and a bad example, when we get to the beach, let's take a nice walk. The senior smiled but it was one of someone who was amused. None of this should be amusing unless one is sadistic and whatever you put up with? Everyone has problems. Don’t use the pity card. she continued lecturing in her head. She had already said her piece in defence so she kept her thoughts to herself. If she continued rebutting, it would just look like she was trying to be smarter and impress people when really, she was just trying to stand up for herself, her friends and what she thought was right. "You can explain yourself and I'll explain myself, without violence, I promise. Otherwise I don't see the two of us having a pleasant relationship this year." You make it sound like I’m the one who isn’t up for talking.. Akira started walking down towards them to shove a phone in her face with a picture of Silas leashed. Etto.. Momo didn’t really get what the picture was about thinking the mafia term was an exaggeration of sorts. Was it Maya Cosplay? A collar didn’t sound all that comfortable though.. she really had taken it far.

"That's why, if you really wanted to know why I am so protective of my friends, now you've got it.." Momo just looked at her as she sighed and pocketed her phone. "I thought you were a calm nice girl. The reason I blew up on you just now... you reminded me exactly of the only two people I hate more than anything in this entire world. If you're not actually like those two girls, I apologize. We'll have to prove each other's impressions of each other wrong at the beach I suppose. By the way, you look nice today, you look better when you're feminine and sweet though. That look suits you best." Momo only blinked a few times, not quite understanding what was going on. I remind her of people she hates.. Maya is one, there’s another
then she compliments me oddly. I’d still be feminine and sweet if I wasn’t yelled at in front of everyone and called a cotton candy poodle in the first place. A cross mark of irritation appeared on her head as the comment still wasn’t apologised for yet. So my hair is pink.. is that bad?. she thought, not even considering dying it. She was normally one to experience self-esteem issues about her looks but she liked her hair, and it was her natural hair colour so it always made her feel a bit more connected with her birth parents. Maybe her mum had pink hair and she resembled her.. would be funny if her dad was the one with pink hair. She didn’t have information on them as people so all she had was her DNA and the outlook of that DNA which happened to be pink hair. It seemed that it was over as Akira left but Kei stood up obviously angry about what had happened. She looked away from him, knowing she had practically gotten on the bad side of his crush. She really didn’t expect him to have her back which stung a little.

"What in the hell is wrong with all of you? I was under the impression that we were supposed to come with light hearts and have some fun but apparently I am wrong. Momo, thanks for stepping in but it is my other shoulder that is hurt so don't worry." Kei smiled at her and she looked back at him with shock. Is this.. really happening? Momo bit her lip, looking away. Kei turned to say a few words to Miami. "I don't know you that well but seriously, that was just uncalled for, think before you threaten..." Momo covered her face with one hand. And what the hell Akira? I mean I like you, you're usually pretty cool but this side of you is sort of nasty. First off she was just moving his head, why would you make such a big deal about it, do you really expect people to believe you thought Momo was being violent? Secondly I am the one who hit Varthur, how dare you accuse Momo of doing such a thing... That isn't even the worst of it though, you have attacked several people just because of such a small incident, calling Momo a bully, saying nasty stuff about Sera, and then attacking Maya when she isn't even around to defend herself, not to mention embarrassing Varthur. It is like you are trying to make everyone on the bus feel like crap and all for what, because another girl touched Silas?” Momo stayed silent in her seat, she agreed with Kei and appreciated what he was doing but knew it wasn’t something he really wanted to do. That he just felt compelled to in the spur of the moment. What hurts the most is.. you’re going to regret standing up for me aren’t you? "How about this, I will just move, that way nobody has a reason to touch him..." he finished. "Ah.. Sorry. I didn't know.." Silas apologised which Momo thought was a good thing for a moment. She had used a bit of bias when addressing him but it wasn’t like she was yelling or starting a fight as Akira had said. She actually kind of used her bias as a diversion to the reason of why she was moving his head, unsure if Kei’s injury was a big secret. Besides, if she had asked nicely she knew Silas would not have paid any attention or taken her words seriously or to heart. He probably would have cozied up on Kei more thinking it was jealousy so that’s why she acted the way she did. Or at least that’s what turned out to be the answer to ‘why’ the more she thought it over.

Kei left, grabbing his belongings and sat at the front near where the teachers would be sitting. I really.. she continued hiding her face in her hand. I really thought
Momo was surrounded by people, nice people like Kei, Sera, Bishop and Miami and she was thankful to have them as friends. Sadly, having friends meant taking sides from what she had seen Akira demonstrate. The girl might not have known it.. but when it came to defending friends they were very much alike. "What are you all looking at? Mind your own business." she heard Silas scorn the other students before turning in his seat. Her blue eyes looked on from underneath her hand as Silas’ blue eyes made contact with hers. "You've got a problem with me?" He leaned slightly closer but Momo said nothing, not knowing where he was going. “If you do, that's fine. I don't know you and it's not my job to make you happy. If what I do bother's you so much, get yourself a blindfold, Nun." You apologise to Kei and you still don’t know why I did what I did.. even when I said I didn’t want to disclose the reason. You can be pretty dense Silas.. she thought moving her hand off her face, not going to be intimidated by him. He may have a lot of girls wrapped around his finger, but she was never going to be one of them. “Let me make this clear." "I'll touch whoever I want, and I'll always accept the consequences of my actions.." Silas said gesturing in Kei’s direction. How can you keep going on like this when you already should know I just didn’t want him hurt.. He doesn’t have to accept the consequences of your actions especially when it could hurt him. You’re so dense.. this is backing your friend Akira too in some way isn’t it... she wondered hopelessly. No words could describe how annoyed she was first with Silas as a womanizer and now as a person. You must be so used to getting things your way.. it doesn’t work out in the real world. Someday you’ll grow old, womanizing won’t work anymore and you have to get your shit together through genuine hard work. No calm down Momo.. don’t swear. she returned her hand to her head as if feverish. " But I don't care about your little rules, and I don't give a shit about these "general manners" you love so much." he said before shuffling towards the window where Kei once was. "Just remember- You touched me first” Momo couldn’t help herself as she said, "I'll touch whoever I want, and I'll always accept the consequences of my actions..” she tossed the same words back at him. See how ridiculous that logic is? she thought, poking her tongue out at him before looking Sera’s way.

“Sera..?” she looked at her with sad eyes after Akira had said such harsh and uncalled things to her as well and the uneasiness was showing in her friend’s face. Momo leaned over and gave the girl a comforting hug though honestly she needed one for herself too. “I’m not mad at you for not telling me.. I hope we stay good friends!” she said the last bit cheerfully, perking up before pulling away and remembering Miami’s request. “Numbers.. well” she took her phone out of her pocket and flipped it open, sparing another glance in Kei’s direction as Akira added, "Kei, I'm supposed to be on medicine for my anger, but they didn't send it. I already apologized, but if you really want me to do it again, I'm sorry. I don't even understand why I did it myself! When I snap inside my head, I can't stop myself, if you want to hold that against me, go right ahead. I'm not going to listen to four people snap at me for the same mistake.. quite honestly, I can't.." Already apologised? Hardly.. she was smirking amused half of the time. she bit her lip, knowing her thoughts didn’t matter. What Akira said would overrule anything she thought when it came to Kei. Looking down at her phone, she looked through her contact list stopping at Kei’s number. He probably regrets everything, even more as she apologises to him so sweetly compared to the way she apologised to me. She’s his weak spot.. I’m just some junior kid he feels obligated to look out for. Nothing I say matters.. she thought, her thumb ready to text him a message while in her head, she was trying to think of all the reasons she shouldn’t text him.

Momo

Momo felt unfamiliar warmth wrapped around her waist only to turn a little and discover with relief it was Sera. She would have reacted really badly if it were a guy. Didn’t change what she’d do in such a situation, even if soon after she had already irked Akira when it came to Silas. "No fair, I gave you my number but I still don't you yours~" her friend whined, sticking her tongue out. She couldn’t help but laugh at the girl being so childish especially when Momo saw herself as the more childish-looking of the two of them. Sera did tell her not to take her too seriously so she figured it was okay to laugh about it. “In a moment~!” she said, wagging her finger as if lecturing a child and teaching them patience before laughing again. It was a really joyful feeling being surrounded by others, hanging out in a group of people who she could be herself in front of. After being often alienated, it was something she could really appreciate compared to most teenagers. She didn’t interfere as Sera continued talking to Silas but she did notice another girl get on the bus with a patched eye (Mizuki) followed by a redhead boy (Sebastian). Didn’t see them on the first day of school or even the day after. she thought quietly, turning around properly to sit back in her chair, fingers entwining over her lap. The girl with the eye patch started talking to Miami and quite frankly, what she had to say as a greeting was baffling. "Miami your dad was hit by a bus!" Momo was shocked but about ready to share her condolences. The girl (Mizuki) then put her thumbs up and smiled happily causing Momo to get really mad that she could be so happy at such a bad time until, "Kidding sweetie!" ..That is one of the worst jokes you could ever say to a person.. Momo sighed as she returned to a very old feeling of not being able to relate to others. It just wasn’t funny in any way. If someone joked to her about her mother like that.. she’d be very upset. Momo jerked her head upwards suddenly, recognising her ringtone going off behind her. It was a soothing instrumental piece. She turned her head to look over her shoulder, “Miami, can I please have my phone back soon? I was sort of.. expecting a message.” She smiled sheepishly as she experienced difficulty with her choice of words. She did wonder what Kei had to say. Hopefully he wasn’t mad at her. He may have smiled at her earlier but a lot could change in a few minutes. Momo of all people was aware of that. She sat back properly in her seat only to accidentally eavesdrop on a few words. "I appreciate the gesture... and the number." She looked to the seats in front of her, seeing the eye patched girl again. Nerve, nerve.. so he goes all polite suddenly when a girl is involved. Wait.. Her index fingers poked each other as she thought it over.

Hey I’m a girl too.. well I guess the difference is I don’t get charmed so easily and that in turn annoys him? I don’t know.. She looked out the window from where Sera was sitting. Sera is probably going to feel uncomfy during the bus ride with him sitting with another girl right in front of us. The number giving seems to imply an ‘interest.’ “QUIET DOWN YOU MOTHER FUCKING CHILDREN!” “Eep!” She heard Bishop squeak. Momo’s eyes widened at a wild guess. That can’t be a teacher.. tell me that isn’t a teacher. She turned her head away from the window, her jaw dropping slightly. What subject does she teach?! she thought as even her Aikido instructors weren’t that.. scary. Actually her Aikido instructors were pretty calm people once you got to know them. “QUIET DOWN!” the teacher slammed her fist on another student’s chair and Momo was very glad that she had avoided the front row. She didn’t mind front row in a classroom as it helped her absorb information better and read off the board considering her bad eye sight but on a bus now that she had friends, she would rather talk to them like now without feeling limited to what a teacher may or may not hear. ”Any students who touch my seat at any point in time on this trip.. will pay
” Lots of people have probably touched your seat before you.. it’s not a new bus right? Momo thought logically before snapping out of it as Mr. Drone came on board, ”and why are you all so quiet?” "Ask the psychopath sitting next to you..." she caught Sera’s mutter making her smile. Though it was a negative comment, she was just glad to not be alone. It wasn’t wrong of Sera to think so anyway.. the teacher did seem.. unteacher-like. “Mr. Vascostin.. start driving please sir!” A grin formed on her face as she felt a rush of excitement build up within her. She forgot about the swimsuits for a moment, just picturing the wind in her hair, the ocean at her feet and the friends she never had
that she finally had now. Momo turned as Sera nudged her. “Let’s have fun okay?” Momo said, tilting her head with a closed eyes smile before Bishop disrupted. "............ Woooooo~!" It took her a bit off guard, not expecting Bishop to express himself that much but she could only smile. This was going to be a fun trip for all of them in one way or another.

Momo

â™Ș Lalala..la ♫
Momo’s head moved side to side with her eyes closed, peacefully imagining playing the piano notes as her phone rang once more before falling into silence. "Of course we are going to have fun, I will make sure of it." Momo opened one eye, turning her head slowly about to look at Sera but the girl leaned in close for a whisper before she could complete the turn. "Besides, we get to show off a bit and tease the boys with our swimsuits." Momo flushed a shade of red as both eyes fluttered wide open. “Sera!” her gaze moved to her lap as her hands fidgeted with her clothes showing apparent discomfort. “I don’t plan to tease any boys and I have nothing to show off..” she muttered under her breath as she pulled the edge of her shirt down a bit more. There are a lot more pretty girls at Airdalen than me.. "Jeez Sera! You have wonderful balance to keep that on yo- Are you staring at Mizuki?" Momo heard Miami say, enough for her to draw a conclusion that the girl with the covered eye was named Mizuki. She could understand why Sera would be staring at the girl (Mizuki) as she had sat herself right next to Silas whom she confessed to liking back at the first class. There was very little Momo knew about that type of relationship, never having experienced romantic feelings for anyone before but she could easily assume it was not pleasant when a crush had his eyes on someone else. Momo was still blushing after what Sera said so refused to turn her head until she had calmed down. "Oh, and You're phone's also on Sera's head Momo..." “O..kay” Momo said, nodding to herself when she felt fine and had regained her composure before moving to the side and gently taking her phone from the top of Sera’s head. Her tall friend was wearing a pout that made Momo smile. She would’ve giggled too but she was more focused on reading her text message.

Momo did manage to hear a bit of what was going on behind her and was so happy for Bishop and Miami but decided not to comment. It was none of her business and she wouldn’t want to spoil the moment they were sharing. It did leave her wondering if she would ever find the right person to share her life with.. romance looked like a beautiful thing. But of course, she highly doubted in the end that any guy would like her in that sense. So many had already bullied her for her bad sight so they must’ve thought she was too much of a nerd to see her in a different light. Maybe being a bookworm was unattractive. She wasn’t like Sera with a great body, or like Akira with good charisma and social skills.. excluding the prior incident, she seemed to have boys flock around her like Silas, Kei and even the no good Varthur. Miami though they both shared blue eyes and pink hair, had Bishop and frankly a more noticeable chest area and that had to add to attractiveness right? She bit her lower lip as she flipped open her phone nervously, not sure what Kei would say. A bit more nervousness added when she realised he was the first guy she ever got along with followed by Kaien who appeared rather polite when they met then Bishop. Additionally, that had been her first text message to a boy and it was done by accident. "Not really staring, just curious. And thanks for the phone back." she heard Sera say as her eyes squinted to read the small font on the phone screen carefully.

The text message read: "Don't worry about it, you didn't mess anything up."
She could only stare blankly at it. It was nice of Kei to say that but even though he told her to stop worrying, she doubted that he wasn’t worrying about it at all. It had obviously affected him to the point of voicing out like that in front of the student cohort when he was naturally a reserved quiet person. What made matters worse, the more Momo thought about it.. she hadn’t done anything for him. He had defended her against Varthur and now Akira whom he had grown a liking to. But I haven’t done anything.. the debt just keeps enlarging. she thought troubled, her hand still gripping the phone tightly as if afraid of letting go. Her other hand patted her head as if trying to reassure herself it was all going to be okay. I’ll take the beach walk offer and make things right between Kei and Akira. I hate that I got between them.. she planned, texting back another message: “I can’t help but worry about it. If there’s anything I’ve learned in the past couple of days, it’s that friends stick together. I know I’m just a junior with not much school authority or standing but I’ll make things right again.. I promise. I should be the one telling you not to worry about it ^^” She sent the message without a second of hesitation as it was the truth and nothing but the truth. She would make things right again, somehow and some way. She couldn’t let him be miserable cause of her. He would’ve done the same thing..

She had relaxed a great deal after responding that her grip on the phone lessened."Hurry up and give me your number cutie before I molest you and take your phone" Momo was a little startled at Sera being so close so suddenly, including by her choice of words that she was caught unaware resulting in her phone flung up in the air. She luckily managed to bend down and catch it before it hit the ground in front of her seat, sighing softly. She really didn’t expect to catch it with her poor eyesight but it looked like the contacts were working fine. That was close. I wouldn’t want to add to someone’s credit bill when I check on how my mother is at home. Those conversations tend to take long
She sat upright and handed her phone to Sera. “Sorry, I forgot for a moment you don’t have my number yet either.” She said with closed eyes, patting her head and laughing nervously. “I wasn’t meaning to be rude by forgetting that.. sorry.” She apologised again, eyes opening and other hand falling from her head to her lap. “Molest though
Are you bisexual?” she asked, tilting her head analysing if Sera would mind such a straight forward question. Sera didn’t seem to mind the first class when she asked if she’d taken a liking to anyone in particular so thought it may be okay to ask that. Sera didn’t look the type to be ashamed of anything as well so she felt comfortable posing questions. Momo always was a curious learner, probably why she studied every subject to the very core till it was mastered.

Mizuki Takizawa

Mizuki sighed as she heard Silas start yelling at her about something, as well as a black haired girl (Devone) come up and explain something about past events on the bus before she got there. She sighed as she heard Miami's name involed, knowing the young girl must of done something. Then, a short-haired girl cross dressing (Akira) walked up and began to speak. She nodded at everyone, listening as well as she could as she kept a lid on her temper. "Listen, um... Akira?" Mizuki questined gently, uncomferable by the male name that was exactly like Miami's dad's name. "I do think we should talk about this to make sure you arn't hurt. I know how quickly Miami blows her steam off, and I'd rather tell you privatly the story between her outburst. I can easily tell she probably threatend you, and I'd rather avoid her dad coming. So, do you mind coming with me instead of escorting um... Momo?" Mizuki whispered, uncertain she should already be calling that girl (Momo) her name. She knew her true parents, and she knew it wouldn't be cool blowing it.

Mizuki calmly got up and gently took Akira's hand, her hand cold to the touch as if she had no heart and was made of ice. "It shouldn't take too long..." Mizuki whispered, unnaturally kind now that Miami was getting ready to leave the bus, like everything she did was just one huge act. She no longer worried about what Miami would think, knowing she'd forget pretty soon. Mizuki would only need to act like Daichi everytime she saw Miami to make her happy, and that made her happy. Nothing else mattered if Miami was alright and well, Miami was the only thing Mizuki really had left besides Saki and Akira (Miami's dad). Yet, Miami was the only bond left. "Anyway, come on. Then maybe I can start writing aplogy notes." Mizuki joked slightly, tugging on Akira's arm to follow as Mizuki left the bus quickly.

MOMO

It looks like we’ve arrived.. I can’t wait!
Momo went starry eyed at all the learning opportunities that passed through her head. She was definitely going to learn a new sport today or at the very least, practice one she already knew like beach volleyball which was made a lot easier to accomplish when she had friends to play with and act as teammates. Bishop had already offered surfing lessons, even cooler that Sera was joining in. She wasn’t concerned at all about looking like a fool being a beginner, she’d do her best."You did nothing of the sort, all the useless noise is what is annoying me." Sera replied as Momo nodded, relieved it had nothing to do with her. "Alright folks.. we've arrived! The bus driver and myself will handle the extra luggage and deliver them to the boys and girls cabins so just take what you need from the compartment and go have a BLAST of fun!” “I really trust you guyssss so don’t let me down by disobeying the school rules! Seniors, we’ve been here before back in your own junior year so please escort the juniors to the rightful cabins... Look after your juniors!” Momo’s cheer went down along with the little lumps of hair on her head. She could very well tell where everything was on the school campus but not at the beach. How was she supposed to know where the cabins were? Not like they posted a map on the school website
or did they? Maybe I should take my laptop out of my bag and try.. it might be a bad time to bother Kei especially as he hasn’t responded to my text yet. “But first I have some apologizing to do with these two.. and I would rather settle everything peacefully.” she heard Akira say, snapping Momo out of her thoughts as her enthusiasm levels lowered all the more. She was glad that the senior (Akira) was taking her advice seriously, a little bit proud even that a junior like herself had influence on a senior but it didn’t change what had already happened. “Momo, I think me and..” “Kei are your seniors, for obvious reasons, I’ll escort you to your cabin, I can get my apology out on the way.”

Akira grinned over at her but Momo just didn’t share the mood. She forced a smile on her face to be polite but she knew in that girl’s (Akira) company, she’d be on her guard at all times for a sudden physical lashing. She was very thankful to have Aikido on her side. What did surprise her was reflecting back on the argument, Akira had said Momo would defeat her in a fight. How did she know? Momo wasn’t particularly strong looking, in fact probably timid with her small height. Maybe she didn’t appear as weak and fragile as she thought she did. “So
may I escort you?” Momo turned her head looking at her friend (Sera) wondering why Akira had started with saying ‘apologizing to do with these two’ but was mainly focusing on her than Sera. She watched Sera as she stood up, tempted to whimper: ‘Don’t leave me here’ with a puppy pout but restrained. If she appeared strong to the senior (Akira) then she figured it was an advantage she wouldn’t want to lose otherwise Akira may very well act on her impulse despite refraining herself currently. Momo’s fellow junior Sera rubbed her head before leaving the bus in a way of being comforting but she still wasn’t at ease. I can handle this I guess.. besides I have to put a word in for Kei. Ganbatte. ”So, do you mind coming with me instead of escorting um... Momo?" What? Momo thought as all the mental preparation in her head was going to waste. "It would be my pleasure. Sorry I didn't even get to hear your reply...Momo.." “..It’s okay.” She responded softly, receiving a series of numbers from the senior (Akira) "The beach is kind of large.. text me sometime today and we can take that walk, and I'll properly apologize...Kei is your alternate senior, so I'm sure he'd be happy to escort you to the cabins." Akira winked at her before leaving, making her uncomfortable. Everyone is getting the wrong idea..

Momo stood up, pocketing the number as the jacket on her lap fell to the ground. Etto.. am I really responsible for returning it? she thought as she stood in the aisle looking back in really no desire to speak to Silas again. Both fortunately and unfortunately, a herd of fan girls stampeded her way fighting over returning the jacket as Momo slipped away as quietly as possible not wanting to get caught in the crossfire. As she stepped out of the bus, the sun was really bright so she placed a hand horizontal wise from her forehead to act as a visor. So bright.. my eyes want to water. She turned her head, temporary visor still up as she spotted Bishop with Varthur, Sera with Silas and Devone from what she had picked up earlier to be the senior’s name by herself. I thought she was Miami’s senior. Momo dropped her hand, fetching her heavy wheeled bag. Mr. Drone was without a doubt strong but she didn’t want to let the teacher and the bus driver do so much work. Besides, she was pretty independent about these sorts of things given it would be very difficult if they had to cross the sand since it was a wheeled luggage. She was still going to stubbornly try. Momo really couldn’t see Kei from all the crowds surrounding the area plus was a bit reluctant from earlier so started to follow where everyone else seemed to be going, dragging the bag behind her forcefully that the weight was giving strain on her face. Heave
heave her willpower kept her moving as her small hand was firmly grasped around the bag’s handle.
