Silas Fuerst

"Come, Play with me."

0 · 868 views · located in Airdalen Highschool

a character in “Love School Drama”, as played by Stilts

Description

Image
Name:

"You've probably heard it before, darling."

Silas Fuerst.

Grade:

"Top of the food chain."

Senior.

Gender:

"Heh... Why don't we go find out?" *wink*

Male.

Ethnicity:

"Whatever you want me to be babe."

Half German. Part Japanese, part American. Dual citizenship in Germany and America.

Appearance:

"What can I say? I'm the definition of sexy. Yeah. And I caught you staring."

Silas' got a sturdy build and broad shoulders from his father's Germanic lineage; he's set and solid, but also nimble. He's quite fast on the field.. and in school brawls. Blonde hair, blue eyes, 6'2." Tats. He's usually got a smirk on his face, and has a bad habit of losing his shirt. Got a problem? Good.

Image
STATS:

Intellect: 1
"What? Why so low? It takes intelligence to flirt, you know."

Physical/Sporting Ability: 10

"Sure, I got the skills. There's always room to improve."

Charm: 17
"This is how I gained my popularity, after all..."

Popularity: 20

"Only the best of the baddest. Oh Ho, Was that a challenge I heard?"

Your most important stat:

"My vater wants me to be a genius; I want to kick balls."

Should be intellect, due to his father's wishes... But it's his talent for soccer Silas is improving. He loves the sport.

Which stat appeals to you most:

"I'll take anything and anyone I want, thanks."

Don't we all want what we can't have? That which is off-limits is often… so tempting. Intellect. You have to be clever to hold Silas' heart; he's not "tied down" easily.

Secrets:

"Mess with me and I'll beat your face in... Punk.

Silas is pansexual.
It wouldn't be a problem for him, the guy don't give a shit about anyone's opinion... except for the fact his father is homophobic. If Mr. Fuerst got wind of it, Silas would be in huge... yeah. But what's life if not lived on the edge? People simply write off his attention towards both guys and girls as normal, everyone knows Silas flirts with whoever the hell he wants, so it's no big deal. Right?

Family members/Who you live with:

"It's... Well... It's useful for parties at least."

Silas' Father is a german executive business man, working in Japan. His mother succumbed to a blood disease when he was ten. Silas was never close to his stoic father, and their relationship did not improve after the passing of his mother. The young man lives with his father, but the man is rarely at home at all, leaving Silas to raise himself. His father's influence and money got him a student's visa for Airdalen High, so that he may pursue a higher education in Japan. However this is not what Silas wants. His scores are never good enough for his father... What he really wants is to pursue his talent for football. (Soccer, that is.)

"Hell yes. This is my beat right here. Y'all listen up:"

- Burn it down. -

"Time for school, bitches."

Silas Fuerst

Silas yawned, the hot water collecting in his mouth. Nothing quite like a hot shower in the morning to wake up. God I hate mornings. He sighed, leaning his head against his arm on the shower wall, letting the torrent spill over his head. First day of Senior year. His last year at Airdalen. Silas frowned, remembering why he got up at all today.

Juniors.

Little. Tiny. What? 15-year-olds? And He was assigned babysitting duty. Just... Wonderful. Finishing up washing his hair, Silas stepped out and dried off... Pausing to take a deep breath and run his hand over his face heavily. If it wasn't for the fact the Junior + Senior program was required of him for graduation, there would be no way in hell they would get him to do this. Silas' eyes fell on his frown in the mirror, and he tried to crack a friendly grin. No. Bad Idea. ... It just looked scary. He sighed, letting his face fall back into a grimace. Too early for this shit. Pulling on the school's uniform, he scratched the head of his German Shepherd absentmindedly. He mussed his hair, leaving the short blond strands in their usual disarray. Damn it. Where is my jacket? Opening his closet, pulling it from the hanger and slipping the school's dark blue jacket over the white shirt.... Silas caught sight of himself in the mirror and scowled. ...Too... Fricking presentable. Pulling his tie loose, as well as the first two buttons of the uniform shirt, he smirked. Much better.

Throwing his gear into a sport sac, Silas grabbed his school bag as well and stalked out of his room into the kitchen. Five minutes, and it was as if the world were a completely different place. The good kind of place. One filled with sparkly rainbows and unicorns and shit. Yes... Everything was fine now. Silas had his coffee.
He sipped it as he fed the dog, making himself some toast and eggs. It was his morning ritual. Shit. His life ritual- caring for himself. You had to learn how to do things yourself, when all you had was yourself to fall back on. Eating slowly, Silas stared at the clock. He stabbed another piece of egg just as the clock struck 8. I really... Do not... want to go.

The door opened with a bang, Startling both the young man and the dog. "Guten morgen."

It was his father. The man shrugged off his business coat with a sigh, looking at the clock and back to Silas. His deep voice was full of german inflection, but emotionless; "You will be late." Silas hadn't seen his father for three days. He turned away, disposing of his plate in the sink. "It doesn't matter. Nothing important starts until fifteen after." He turned back around, refusing to meet his fathers eyes and shouldered his bags. There was a pause as the two men stood facing each other, before Silas made to move around the man. "I'll be leaving-" "I will take you." Silas froze. His father was going to drive him?

Five minutes later, Silas was at school. The car ride had been smooth and silent, as was Silas when he exited the car. ".... Tschüß Vater." His father nodded, already pulling away, and Silas turned to enter the gates of his school. So much for a relaxing morning. He ran his hand through his hair, grinning up at the sky, squinting against the sun. At least here... Here he was free.

It was amusing to see the halls part for him. Though, if they hadn't, Silas would have just shoved his way through them anyway. One could tell who the returning students were- those chatting about the upcoming year excitedly. Then there were the little ones. The "fresh meat", and whatnot. Silas had a sneaking suspicion these Junior + Senior pairings were not only for academic benefits... Rather, the Seniors were now 'bodyguards' of sorts... Responsible if anything happened to these hopeless sniveling creatures. He chuckled. What? It was how he learned. You want to be on top, you fight for it. You fight dirty. If the teachers thought these cozy little pairings were going to stop hazing well... good luck.

He winked at a Junior girl, before entering the auditorium. It was filling with students, slowly trickling in and breaking off to their respected sides. All the chairs had already been set up. Dropping his bags in a seat, he recognized the short brown bob, standing near some other seniors.

"Hey~ My man." Silas strode up to the group, leaning an arm over Akira's shoulders, and grinned down at her; "Been working out much?" His eyes traveled pointedly to her chest then back up to meet her gaze playfully, "I see you haven't changed, and neither have your... "pecs". " He knew she hid them on purpose, but what was the fun of teasing someone if you didn't get a reaction? Besides, he was known for shooting his mouth off. ... A lot. He smiled, blue eyes roaming over the crowds of new students, disinterested; "Well… Looks like I didn't miss anything interesting after all."

Akira

Akira blinked and placed a hand over her mouth when she saw a boy walk in she nearly accidentally trampled, "Sorry there...uhm...?" he was a junior so she didn't very well know him, she'd apologize to him later, it'd be hard to miss a blonde at that school (Bishop). She ran a hand through her hair, trying to fix it, boy, she slightly beat from running around the school, this felt pretty pathetic, because this was only the beginning of her exercize, she still had a junior to show around.. Hopefully she got one that wasn't too disagreeable or weak, she didn't want to walk at a snails pace. More importantly, she'd have to do a lot better if she wanted to join the sports teams as a boy. Taking care of grandma must've thrown off her training routine and whatnot.

Then she noticed someone else, Oh god Silas! He was definately going to poke fun at her! She looked up at the tall boy whom now had his arm draped over her shoulder, "Hello there. Silas." She rolled her eyes, "H-hey! You have better things to do then scope me out, like help me clean the stage!" she snapped after hearing Varthur give her the order, "Yes sir Varthur, sir~" she smiled a goofy grin, her cheeks turned a light pink from Silas's comments, but she shook it off. They'd been friends for a while, she was getting pretty used to his comments, "Can I vote you most likely to contract an STD, or most likely to end up in prison, Silas?" she smirked at him, literally dragging him over to the stage, handing him one of two brooms she'd aqquired on the way, "Sweep. I'm sure you know how, right?" she asked quizically. She began sweeping herself, rather quickly actually. She did it every day around the house for her sickly grandmother, or her grandmother who at least claimed to be to sickly to take on any of the family chores or even work. She needed to get a job since her grandmother quit.. or she wouldn't be able to afford living in her house. This was all so troublesome. As Akira realized she'd made a decent pile, she bent down and pulled the pan off the broom, sweeping the junk onto the pan. She never realized how dirty a highschool was... ew. And to think someone else had already began cleaning on this stage? Highschool was disgusting.

"Oi, Silas, what sport are you going for this year?" she asked tilting her head to the side, she was undecided, so she'd keep her mind off it for a little while... her main talent was sports, if that went away, she didn't know what she'd do..Her smarts weren't terrible, she got decent grades, it was probably her next best skill, sure she wanted to improve her grades, but most of all, she wanted to improve how she talked with others. She was a dud when it came to being a salesperson, and all the way up to talking to boys...well, she looked at Varthur and Silas, boys she liked.

"H-hey! You have better things to do then scope me out, like help me clean the stage!" He frowned at Akira; "Well thanks for volunteering me. You suck up." She wasn't listening; yelling back at some kid named Varthur. Sounded… Familiar. Silas turned, his eyes settling lazily upon the boy. Oh him… He was fairly well known wasn't he? Mr. Smarty-Pants or something? … And he was cradling his head. Weird. Kind of cute... In a pathetic, lost puppy sort of way...

"Can I vote you most likely to contract an STD, or most likely to end up in prison, Silas?" He glanced back down at her, an evil smile coming to his lips- challenging her own smirk. He didn't miss a beat; "Only if you're the one willing to infect me, babe. ... And put me in cuffs..." Silas' deep laughter turned heads as he followed her, letting himself be pulled along by the wrist. Oh girl, you asked for that one.

"Of course I can sweep" He took the broom from her, setting to work, sniffing in mock offense and mocking her british accent; "A man who cannot sweep, should not be called a man." He danced away from any retribution that may come from his teasing. Akira was good fun. Hothead that one... And she threw a good punch.

He looked out over the growing crowd of students, the juniors sitting awkwardly in their seat, as the older students either conversed or cleaned. "Oi, Silas, what sport are you going for this year?" "Hm? Oh... Same as last year." He smiled, tipping his head back towards the general direction of his seat; "Football. I brought my things with me today to practice after school." Come to think of it... "Hey Akira..." Silas stopped sweeping, leaning his chin on the broom as his eyes narrowed, studying her. "You don't have a set sport do you?" A slow smile curved on his lips; "Wanna.... Try out?"

Silas waved his hand nonchalantly at her attire "Looking like that, I'm sure no one would notice you're not a guy." He smirked. "You're always complaining about not being challenged enough." Silas chuckled, turning away from her to finish sweeping up the corner of the stage; "Making the team is difficult, but if you do... well... you'll have plenty of challenge." He looked over his shoulder, winking at her; "Mainly, trying not to get squashed by people like me."

"Yeah, Soccer's great, but I'm also thinking about joining Track on the side... Though I don't know if I'd make it to the meets.." He finished sweeping up his pile of dirt, hair, and who knows what else, into his pan. "They got some cute junior boys this year, waaaay better than last years boys." He glanced up, smirking at her. You'll have to do better than that to get anything out of me. Smiling, he just nodded in agreement; "Yeah they do."

He dumped the panful of crap into the trashcan she held out for him. "Be on the same team as you Silas? You'd enjoy that way too much." He grinned, already imagining training in practice. "Believe it. You'd be in a whole new world of pain." "Everyone knows your flirting obsession, and I doubt someone like you could catch me." Oh, she meant my "flirting." Come now, at least I don't bite. Okay... That's not true. "You should be more focused on getting those grades up. Doesn't your dad want you to be like Einstein or something?" "Yeah, yeah mommy, I'll be sure to find a tutor." Silas, turned, setting his broom and pan against the back wall. "And flirting is not an 'obsession', it's an art... I don't need to catch you, I've already got you right where I want you." He ruffled her hair in passing. "If anything, you should be worried about catching someone yourself."

"Here, I'll take the bag." He said, tying up the garbage, and pulling it out of the can. "I think you have an admirer.." Silas glanced up, following the direction of her finger, smiling when he saw the blonde boy sitting near the back look down at his iPod. (Bishop) "Of course I do. They're littered across the school, haven't you noticed?" He grasped the broom handle under her chin, pulling it away, and unsettling her balance. "You should know, Miss Untouchable..." His eyes narrowed playfully, debating whether or not to repay her for her jiving, when he was interrupted by Mr. Swato. "Yes sir." Silas backed off, taking the broom and the garbage bag. Descending the stage stairs, he looked back over his shoulder at Akira; "See you around handsome. Don't let the ladies mob you." He laughed as he walked away, headed back towards his seat, disposing of the broom and trash near the back of the hall for the janitors to collect.

Mr. Swato was boring. As usual. Silas drummed his fingers steadily against his thigh as he slouched back in his seat. Damn these seats were uncomfortable.... Finally, it was time for the Seniors to line up. Great. Just what I've been looking forward to. He didn't budge until the line had thinned out quite a bit, standing to retrieve his packet. He strode over to the English teacher, holding out his hand. The last slip was placed in his grasp.
Kiddies here I come.

Silas weaved slowly through the throngs of people, the unopened slip held casually in his hand. He recognized some seniors from past classes, sized up the juniors. I wonder which one's mine... "THINGS CAN GET KINDA FUNKY!" Wait. What? Silas turned towards the source of the commotion, slightly amused. Who was that? Blurting out random shit in the middle of the auditorium... His day just got a little better. The plastic under his fingers crinkled. Silas sighed. Might as well get on with it. Pulling out the picture, he blinked. ... Not bad... The girl was cute. Tiny, petite.... An honest face. He looked up scanning the room slowly. ...Now where are you, princess?

All the way towards the back of the hall Silas found her, sitting. He glanced down at the picture. Yep. That was her. A friendly smile slipped onto his face as he strode towards her; "Hey there cutie." He stuck out his hand, coming to a stop in front of her. "I am your designated lifeguard." He grinned. "You can call me Silas."

Akira

Akira blinked what was that, Silas just ignored an attack at his ego... wow. When did he learn that? Ugh. Was he getting harder to pick on? Summers suck, they change people too much, "If I was your mom you'd be a totally different person..and FYI I'm not really looking to catch anyone.. I'm not that skilled at it." she retorted sticking her tongue out at Silas, rolling her eyes. She wasn't even really sure how her and him became friends. He was practically her only friend so far, she'd have to change that this year, sure the seniors knew who she was, but she never approached most of them because she tried too hard to make a good impression.. she was sure she'd come off as annoying and they wouldn't like her.. "No, I try not to pay attention to the fanclub you've formed for yoursel-" and she nearly fell when he took the broom handle, gasping out before somewhat screaming at him "Silas!" her face turning red from embarrassment, she had almost faceplanted the floor, "O-oii! Like anyone would mob me!" she blushed, trying to shake off the thought, she'd never been with a boy or a girl.. so she wasn't too sure on if she was into girls, so the thought kind of lingered in her head, then she shook it instantly, "Not the time...not the time crap, bad impression on Kumi-chan..."

Akira blinked when Kumi held out her hand, she laughed a bit and shook it firmly, but not painful, "Nice to meet you, uhm, I might end up dragging you, so I'm going to apologize way in advance. She placed her finger to her chin, she seemed to do this a lot when she started to think, but she got instantly thrown off when Kumi called her a girl. Was it really that obvious!? Akira nodded slowly with a dragged out sigh, pointing at herself "Yeah, when I ordered my uniform, I guess they didn't look past my name. Assumed I was a male or something, though gender doesn't really matter in my opinion.." then she blushed, crap, rambling, quit rambling Akira! " I've talked too much already! Lets hear about you, you look really pretty and kind of smart, but I don't want to just assume...so tell me a bit about yourself." Kind of smart? You can't say anything right can you Akira!? She refrained from hugging Kumi, she was just so adorable and looked really, really huggable. Though it was killing her to remain standing still and quiet at the same time, she waited for Kumi to have time to speak before starting again, giggling, she pointed at Silas, "First lesson, he is a womanizer. Haha, but he's really friendly, so he levels himself out making him a fun guy. Just be prepared to get hit on. Though...he is kind of cute, right?" She whispered the last part, she'd NEVER admit that to Silas. She then went wide eyed, taking the mint green haired girl by the hands holding them in her own excitedly, "Wait I forgot to ask! Do you like any of the senior boys yet~? I can introduce you!" She chimed. Akira was being way overbearing again, barely giving Kumi time to talk.. dammit. She felt her cheeks flare up. Trying to be chrismatic and charming, it wasn't working, she just wasn't good at it like Silas or Tomoyo.. "Sorry if I'm annoying.. I know you probably wanted a guy senior.."

Just as she apologized, she noticed Mr. Swato walking up to her and she straightened her posture, did he notice she was being rude to him earlier, could he read her mind...? Crap! Cool it, he can't read minds, that's just STUPID, this is why you need to find a tutor Akira... you spend all your free time coming up with insane theories! Before she even realized what happened, or had time to ponder another wacked out theory, another sleeve got thrown at her. Akira went wide eyed, and she barely caught it. What was that about..? I thought he was one hundred and fifty percent against getting involved? Someone forced Mr.Swato to intervene? They were in trouble~ She looked at the sleeve in her hands, seeing the image of a boy....making her twitch. H-how am I supposed to handle this!? Calm down, breathe, he's a younger boy, he looks like a kid....breathe (Akihisa) but he was just as adorable as Kumi... She looked around the room getting on her tiptoes trying to find him, "Looks like we're a group of three." She sweatdropped as she continued to scan the room, where was the babyfaced kid at anyway? (Akihisa)

"I'm Maya Kenkon. It's nice to meet you!" Her hand was small in his, he shook it once before letting the soft fingers slip from his grasp. She gave him an obvious one-over; something Silas was quite used to, but not from someone with such a... Innocent face. Strange. "If that was an attempt of flirting, it was a little cliche." Oh my, what's this? Now I'm cliche? Mmm. I'll assure you you've never seen anything like me. “But I found it kind of sweet” He chuckled, slipping his hands into his pockets. "Don't get ahead of yourself Kitten, that's simply how I address everyone." Suddenly, the girl wrapped her arms around him, and Silas raised his brows. Careful now love. You're playing with fire... And you don't exactly have me on a leash. He watched her go through the contents of the packet, observing what it held himself. Hmm. I wonder what the blank paper is for.

“So your now my friend!” He hadn't said anything up till now, just watching her with his head cocked to the side, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips. Well... She might be fun... Amusing little thing. All presumptuous and everything. She seemed to catch on to his study of her; "I'm sorry, was I being rude?" "No, not rude." The words were slow, amused. Not rude at all... Hah. Kids these days. "Just blatantly feeling me up." He smirked down at her, "Not that I mind."

She reached up to pat his shoulder. Touching me again. She's real physical isn't she? Like what you feel little one?.. "You're cute but you kinda seem like to much of a flirt." Oh? You only just noticed? He thought sarcastically, trying not to laugh. The kid was entertaining. "But then again...you may be just an insecure boy using it as a cover....." Whop. I take it back. She had balls saying that to a senior. Much less a senior that looked like him. Insecure? Tich. I don't know the meaning of that word.

"All I know for sure is that now your my friend. So, are you going to tell me what this school is about or not?" She slipped her hand back into his. Again, with the claiming me... The composed mask fell away, his countenance changing in an instant. His eyes leveled with her's viperously, lips slipping slowly into a dangerous smile. I'll teach you alright. It's getting boring being gracious.

Silas' fingers wrapped firmly around her own, pulling her suddenly towards him; the girl falling against his chest. His right hand slid around her waist swiftly, lifting her off her feet and onto his shoes in one smooth movement. Silas smiled down at her, spinning her into a waltz on a whim. She was quite light, not at all hard to lead as they spun fluidly through the other students.

"Well now let's see..." Silas murmured against the top of her head, his lips curved with mirth as he met the eyes of those they waltzed past. "How to survive here? Hmm. Don't draw attention to yourself... Blend in and keep your head down. Don't mess with things you don't understand. Oh, and definitely don't do anything unusual. Otherwise you'll be a social outcast the rest of your life." He chuckled against her hair; "... Kidding, love." I was right, she does smell good. "It's only going to take a little time, before someone like you is snatched up. So take my advice, and protect your heart now." His head dipped lower, mouth hovering beside her locks. "Don't you fall in love..." Silas breathed, whispering softly into her ear; "You have to be careful of boys like me. We're out of your control." He twirled her to a stop, dipping her back, with a smirk; "I'm no prince." He let go of her for a spilt second, his supporting arm faking to release her, before it wrapped sturdily around her shoulders again. "But I won't let you down." Silas looked down at the junior, eyes roaming leisurely over her face; "It's not your fault… you don't know any better, and I just don't care." He mused aloud quietly, not caring if she understood. He pulled her upright, letting her free. He was probably confusing the hell out of her. Good. One of his many talents, messing with people's heads. "Basically, if they've got a penis, don't trust them." He said bluntly. "Welcome to Airdalen, child. Any other questions?"

No blush, not even a blink. She just stared at him with a quizzical expression. Silas took it in stride, staring back at her from beneath half-lidded eyes. Perhaps she was one of those extremely logical people. The one's that didn't have any emotional responses at all... A mini Swato.... Dear god.

Of all the questions to ask... You ask me that.

"Oh jaaaa" He said, slipping into a comical, pronounced German accent; "In my country- we introduce ourselves with dance." Really, this girl was so... Dense. Did she even catch he was poking fun at her? Silas never said anything straightforward. Usually never, unless it was an unavoidable comment, something like "Nice boobs." He wasn't about to start now, just because a junior couldn't take a hint. I'm obliged to babysit you. Not chew your food for you.

“So…your saying that anyone born with male genitalia at the school I shouldn’t trust." Really? Really? Come on. ... Last time I checked, a penis was a manly part. "That's exactly what I'm saying." " But you’re my friend and I should trust you…..” He was blinded as a wide smile broke on her face, her rouge eyes meeting his blue one's with determination; “If your trying to persuade me from being nice to you, it didn’t work. In fact, I think your an even better friend than before! “ He groaned internally. How is it... She's not blonde? He raised a brow and looked down at her, completely ignoring the shade of his own hair. "Lesson number one:" He said, the tone of his voice dull, almost rivaling that of the resident English teacher in lack of spirit; "Out of everyone in this school..." He took a slow breath, his hands sliding into his pockets; "Don't trust me." That should be fairly obvious. You don't know me kid. Don't start thinking you own me. I might just.... Bite back.

What? She thought him kind? Hah. ... If only she knew his track record here for starting shit. Maybe then she wouldn't be so inclined. "Not so, darling. It was just some friendly advice." He cracked a smile, hissing out under his breath; "You'll need all the help you can get..." She grabbed his face suddenly- Silas was surprised. A girl touching him so forwardly. Not common, as they were normally too afraid to even approach him. Much less force his chin down to look at them. Silas growled. ... You're so lucky you're a girl, Junior.

“You may look like a prince but you don’t act like one, but then again, if just five people in this room acted completely like prince charming than this would quickly become a very boring school year.” Silas rolled his eyes, not bothering to try to make sense of her strange logic. He cockily stared her down. Better remove that hand before someone gets jealous. She spoke again, the warm fingers on his cheek trailing downwards. Silas didn't move more than to throw a smirk at her. You can't play my game if you don't know the rules. “By the way, everyone at this school seems real nice so I’m not particularly sure if I should trust your judgement or not. Though your lack of faith in people could be possible based on a bad experience in family or in friends..... so your not exactly the best person to get relationship advice from. But in the end, who knows?" He laughed loudly, not trying to hold himself back. "What are you, my shrink? Goodness girl." His laughter simmered down, and he smiled. "I'm not the best person period."

Silas reached out and took back the slip from her. "Let's get something straight. You need something from me, I need something from you. I'm your partner." He hummed, his eyes darkening with warning; "Don't be a pain, and I'll try not to be bad." That was all he could offer really. There wasn't a person alive who could tie him down. He'd die before he let that happen. "It's not that you should care, I just want you to know I'm no good." Not that it mattered really. Perhaps she was like all the others; with their assumptions, and questions about who he was. Curious as to why they couldn't exactly grasp him. Get inside his head and mess around with it...
Good luck trying to figure me out, little one. No one ever has.

“Don’t worry though, I’ll make sure that doesn’t happen” Great. Just what I need. A reformist as a partner. So much worse than a shrink... She giggled, and Silas fought the urge to whap the kid over the head. So annoying...

Suddenly she stopped, whirling back to face him and blushing. Oh ho. What was this? So the nanny could blush. Silas didn't recall having done anything... That must mean... He glanced over her shoulder, his eyes meeting with another boy's (Jack). Well... Isn't this interesting... Dark hair, dark eyes, dark frown. The kid didn't seem all to pleased. Silas winked at him. He didn't know why, he just felt the compulsion to do so.

Got something going on there princess? Maya looked back up at him; “So, are you going to tell me something about yourself other than the lie that you not a good person?” Why was she so... Damn happy? She oozed bubbles and positive vibes. It made him want to sneeze. Make of me what you will, you're so damn sure of yourself. But what if you're wrong? Whatever. He already warned her once, he wasn't going to do so again. "Nope." Silas said, flashing his teeth at her, before both of their attentions were drawn to a modest call for help. Maya grabbed his hand yet again, pulling him avidly towards the source. Silas sighed.
It was going to be a long day.

... I knew I should have stayed in bed this morning.

Maya tugged the unenthusiastic german boy along behind her, over to the group standing around a bleeding junior (Miami). He examined the girl indifferently as they approached; Huh. What the hell happened to you...? Then again, head wounds always bled more, perhaps it wasn't that serious. He came to a halt behind Maya, nodding to Tomoyo as he did. Where do I remember him from? Was it biology?... And... Why can I remember Ms. Roselle screaming?... Chipper as ever, Maya produced a first aid kit, handing it over to the blonde boy. (Bishop) Wait. That blonde boy. The junior Akira pointed out earlier. He's not that bad up close.

Maya released his hand to turn and talk to Tomoyo as the senior ditched, pushing his junior partner forwards to deal with the wounded kid. Silas sighed, his eyes rolling over to look at the pink haired girl who stood awkwardly, holding a small towel to her head. The Junior kid (Bishop) held out a water bottle to the girl, he seemed to be fumbling with everything he was trying to achieve at once. A small twinge of sympathy for the two underclassmen and Silas exhaled, leaving to grab a chair for the girl. "Here. Sit" He placed his hand on her shoulder, pushing her down into the seat, then tipped her head up gently. "Junior boy-." Silas extended his left hand behind him without looking back, motioning for the boy to put the bottle in his hand. At the same time, he peeled back the towel slowly, taking in the wound. A gash. Long, but shallow. She wouldn't need stitches.

The cut was still bleeding freely, some of it slowly creeping down her temple. Silas frowned, working quickly to unscrew the cap of the bottle. He didn't become nauseous around blood, but for some reason it was always easier to deal with his own than with another's. Flipping the towel in on itself over the bloodied side, he wet it; handing it to the junior and taking the Kit off his hands. Why am I even doing this? Silas stood, the opened kit in his hands along with the disinfectant and bandages. Helping out Juniors? Hah. He waited and watched, impassive. The blonde boy seemed to know what he was doing.

Silas stood silent, watching the Junior (Bishop) attend to the girl with strange, pink hair (Miami). Pink... What a unnatural color. It's kind of cute. He handed Bishop supplies as he needed them. Though... Blue eyes drifted down to the blond locks before him. He's cuter. Nimble fingers wrapped the bandages skillfully, as the boy started asking questions. Apparently the girl had fallen down stairs. Why is it always the stairs? And girls. The stairs at this school are cursed. What they need are some designated stair-helpers... Or maybe she could just piggy-back her Senior everywhere... Silas glanced at the five of them. Where... was her Senior? Ah well. It looked like the blonde boy (Bishop) was finishing up. Silas set down the first aid kit, glancing up as a thin, short haired girl (Amaya) slid to a stop in front of him. Must be her senior. The girls cheeks were flushed, obviously having ran there, and she was talking quite fast. Someone's a late sleeper. Though, I don't blame her...

He only just caught her name; Amaya, before a tiny hand wrapped tight around his arm, yanking him away. Maya. Why was she always touching him?! GRAH! ...It was karma. He just knew it... Silas glared down at her, but she ignored him; ”This is Silas, he’s my senior though I don’t think he’s that happy to be with me. Are you?” There was something about the way she said "my senior" that put Silas on edge. He pulled his arm out of her grasp, but she reached up and poked his cheek. Silas' eyes narrowed, and he snapped his teeth at her retreating finger. I'm not your teddy bear. Don't touch my cheeks. He huffed in irritation, turning to eye Tomoyo. "Of course I am happy to be with you, you're a funny gal, and knowing Silas, the fact that he came here to do this shows that he is not completely unhappy." "No. She meant me." He said darkly, glowering when Tomoyo winked at him. "There isn't a cappuccino in the world that could make this bearable." Where do I know you from...? He was pretty sure he'd seen the guy around before. The sharp eyes, the way he stood... Looked like a trouble maker. His kind of person.

A bang; Mr. Drone barreled his way into the hall, disrupting their happy little powwow. Silas looked up to the stage, watching as the giant man literally bellowed every word he said, his deep voice reverberating through the students, even without the microphone. Silas' mouth twitched up slightly. He enjoyed Mr. Drone, the man was hilarious... Some sort of massive bodybuilder- he'd once seen the teacher bench press a car. No shit.

“I already know what I’m going to write about you.” Silas' smile fell. Crap. Complements? Of all the- Guh. Fine. He could just bullshit it right? His mind was already turning mischievously;

Oh!!~ Fairest visage. Mine eyes are not deserving.
She who shines with interminable light;
The moon herself a pallid pretender,
The sun but a shadow.
Oh! Honorable beauty! Pure chastity! I do beseech.
By all that is vested in me; I shall win thy benign heart
Lonely it may be. Through arduous test of valor
With courage unfaltering. For thou I walk through flames.
Tis but soft! Temperate.
None yield heat enough to rival the torch of my heart.
Oh fair being- I do plead!
Choose.
Choose me.~

Silas smiled to himself. Ohhhh yes. But no. As much as he hated to admit it, it would be wrong. But oh... Oh so funny. He passed Maya a paper and a pen. Might as well get started. What was this about a contest? Bring it on... I love competitions. Silas wandered away from the group, finding a toppled chair and righting it in order to write. Hmmm...

Libelle.
I'm just a joke in my own mind.
Yet, you dance with my punchlines.
And Baby, I'm a little confused.
I'ma fight with myself till I'm bleeding, so
Don't you try to change me.

You're far too innocent yet.
Pure.
Young.
Perfectly fine.
But so damn stubborn.
Look too closely at a candle and you'll go blind.

Stick to your levities. Pleasantries.
Play the fool and love with simple affection
You'll find what you can of perfection.

He sighed, folding it immediately, not stopping to read it over. He strolled back to Maya, pushing the paper into her hand, and held his own palm out.
Just get it over with Silas. Retaining this civility is grating...

He opened her folded note, careful not to rip it. Why did she have to fold it so tiny? Silas turned slightly away from her as he read it, and she read his.

I don’t particularly care if you see me as an airhead. Nor do I care if you find me annoying. You are my friend, plain and simple. I don't remember agreeing to that. He continued reading, his eyes widening slightly at the next words; You’re nice even though you’re a complete pervert and act like a bit of a douche, though you refuse to admit it to yourself or to me. Humph. ... I'll take the pervert part as a complement. Even if you will not acknowledge it, I am your friend and you are mine. Damn straight I won't acknowledge it. They say that the devil is always resting on a person’s left shoulder, maybe the reason I’m so happy and nice to you is because I cannot see on my left. What? He glanced over curiously at Maya, noticing she tilted her face to the right to read his paper. Oh... I’m glad I can’t, because then I was able to see your good side clearly. Even though this letter will probably end up in the garbage somewhere or perhaps tossed carelessly in the hallway, I hope that you at least read part of it.

Immediately after reading it. Silas folded it back up. Maya was still reading his letter. He wasn't sure if she just had a... hard time reading, or was simply reading it over. Silas didn't look at her, stuffing the note into his pocket, and standing stiffly waiting for her to finish. He didn't know if he had anything to say. It was strange. Her note. Simple and to the point, but... Strange. He'd been complemented by girls before. Been insulted, spat on, kissed. But those things never meant anything to him. They bounced right off him, and for some reason, this short, little letter... it stuck. Perhaps it was because he finally saw a little bit of who she was. Silas shook his head, ridding himself of the thoughts. I don't give a shit.

He glanced down at Maya, checking to see if she had finished yet, when her eyes caught his. He held her gaze, wondering why now of all times, she was being so quiet. He would actually appreciate her spewing hot air right now, if only to alleviate the heavy atmosphere. Finally she smiled, attacking him with another hug. Silas tensed. He didn't dislike hugs.. only her hugs. "It wasn't anything." He said gruffly. Who do you think you are!? Calling me sweet. Hah. "Besides, I don’t care if I go blind, I’m already halfway there.” That was another thing. Silas was surprised she had decided to share that disability with him, even though he had given her nothing. Was she really so carefree? What a strange girl.

“You should be in a poetry club of some sorts, I think it would be a much better use of your time rather than flirting with people and risking several sexual diseases in the process. but in the end that's your choice I guess." She was so disgustingly enthusiastic... "Flirting doesn't give you STD's, unless you got some sort of strange method of flirting." He wouldn't doubt it. She was so touchy-feely. Though... he was slightly pleased someone found him at least somewhat competent at something academic. What? No. Silas wasn't pleased. Not a chance. She had no effect on him whatsoever. Stupid poetry club was for sissy intellectuals who were "deeply in-touch" with their "inner beings." Whatever the fuck that meant.

"Your gonna win" She was staring at him like a groupie. Silas looked back towards the stage, indifferent, watching for Mr. Drone. He brushed off her praise, sticking his hands back in his pockets, one hand closing around the crumpled note.
"I have no idea what you mean."

... Depends on what kind of competition. Silas' eyes stayed on the stage, watching for Mr. Drone's return. “Maybe if you win they’ll give you enough money for you to buy a positive self image.” He ground his teeth. Oh hell no. His fists clenched in his pockets Say it Silas. Just say it- "Or a new junior."... But that would be beyond mean. It was bad enough that she had no sense of personal space, Neither do I, But at least I catch a hint the first time. but to insult him? I swear... I'm going to leave her somewhere. Maybe in the boy's locker room. Right after gym class... "I wonder what the second task is, maybe its a card game...or it could be a fight to the death like Battle Royale!" Silas blinked, turning to look at her. "Hm? .... Nevermind." He shook his head. "I do not want to know." She was blabbering on about some nonsense. Getting killed?... And an island? What the hell.

"Found them, c'mon Silas!" Found wh- Maya had grabbed hold of his jacket sleeve, throwing her bodyweight forward to get him to move. "Nein, Bengelchen. I won't let you drag me around any longe-..." Silas caught sight of who they were headed towards and stopped complaining immediately. Truthfully, if he had stopped right there and then and refused to budge, he doubted Maya would be able to move him, even if she threw all her weight against him. However, Silas' long strides now matched hers as she bounced towards the trio. She almost fell, tripping over seemingly nothing, but caught herself on his arm. Wonderful. She's clumsy as well.

"I was wondering if you two would mind being candidates for the surviving female for this man?" Silas raised his brows, then met Akira's eyes as if to say: Don't ask me... I have nooo idea. He smiled, "Hey Akir-"Wow, your both so pretty" Silas clenched his jaw, frowning as Maya threw herself on the two girls. Noticing the boy (Akihisa) sitting off to the side watching the commotion, he glanced back to the two slips Akira held.
"Hey. I'm Silas." He stuck out his hand, a friendly smile washing over his formerly dark features. "I'm guessing you're Akira's partner as well." He shook the boy's hand. The Junior was short, and looked to be about the age a Junior should be, whereas Akira's second partner... well.

"She got two Juniors. Lucky." Silas chuckled, patting the boy on the back for conversation's sake; "Two girls; you've got to be a happy man." Maya was still squeezing the women... I wonder if I should pry her off them.. Nah. This is amusing... Finally she released them.

"I'm Maya Kenkon and I'm Silas's junior. You're now my friends!" Silas caught Akira's eye, slowly shaking his head behind Maya's back. No.. Don't do it. Don't do it... Baaaad decision. Silas strode up to the girls, pulling Maya back slightly, "Stop molesting people," and grinned down at Aikra, "Sir... Did I not warn you about being mobbed? But then again... If you're with her, I guess you can't complain." Silas' eyes fell on the girl beside Akira (Kumi), and he smirked, his tone light, "Do you always dress like that, Sugar? If you do, we'll get along just fine."

Mr. Drone began speaking again, interrupting him and catching his attention. He turned away from the green haired girl to listen. A race. Shit. Silas looked over at Maya. And I'm with Miss Graceless. The listing of groups was long, but he finally caught his name. We're partnered with Kei and... "Mama"? Hm. ... Don't know them. "Akira, you know a Kei? I've got no clue..."

KUMI MIDORI

Kumi watched Akira as she seemed to be having a mental battle with herself. She seem pretty stressed. Kumi wanted to help but wasn't sure if she should or not. She didn't know if Akira wouldn't want her to notice or would be embarrassed or something. Kumi didn't want to ruin anything already. That would be horrible for her. She made a new friend and she wanted to keep her. Kumi tried to focus on something else until Akira spoke out. It seemed like she had a... British accent? Kumi was a little surprised that the girl was British. It made Kumi actually a bit interested, and it was good because she learned a new thing.

"That's too bad. In Britain we'd call you Mental, Naff, or Out of your bloody mind... I'm not trying to get on a bad foot..but you might want to work on your facial expressions when looking at my female friend here, unless she likes it that is..."

Kumi turned red as she looked at Akihisa. She then focused her attention back to Akira. Kumi darted up from her chair and looked like she was about to say something, but nothing came out. Kumi felt a little flustered and surprised. Kumi didn't know what to think. Kumi didn't know if Akira liked Akihisa and was upset about Akihisa staring at her or if Akira was mad at Akihisa because he was a perv. Kumi was confused and wanted to say something, but it felt like something was stuck in her throat. Her face was red and she settled back into a chair and looked down at her feet, fiddling with her papers. Then Akihisa quietly apologized. Kumi looked over at Akihisa for a minute then returned her gaze to the ground as Akira spoke again.

"As long as that's clear we'll get along just swell. It's my job to protect the both of you today, from seniors..and from each other if it calls for it. I can already tell your not very satisfied with me, I get it. I wouldn't be either..."

"Akira.... Don't say that. I'm glad I got you as a senior and I am definitely satisfied."

Kumi spoke with a slight bit of determination and comforting. She couldn't understand why Akira was acting the way she was. Something obviously was ticking her off. Akira delivered both of her papers. Then Kumi frowned as Akira continued.

"Just so you know, despite how crazy I seem, I am happy that I got to meet both of you.. I mean it. I wrote too big..so gomen..."

Kumi looked down at the paper and then put it away in her backpack for later. Kumi then smiled as she realized what Akira said. Kumi replied quietly while smiling. "Me too." Kumi then watched as Akira stood up and stretched. Kumi noticed that she seemed upset. Akira then talked once more as she stretched her arms.

"Ready to walk around a bit? I can introduce you both to Silas if you want, he looks like he needs a bit of a savior at the moment....he's been pretty tense since he got his Junior."

Kumi was questioning if Akira really just wanted an excuse to go see Silas. Kumi thought for a bit before she looked over to Akihisa to see what his thoughts were. He seemed to just go along with it.

"Ok, sounds good."

Akihisa passed Kumi her note and Akira hers. Kumi then transferred her other note to her backpack. Kumi then stood up and walked over to Akira's side. She was just then about to pass out her notes until someone else interrupted her. Kumi whispered to her self. "You've got to be kidding." Some girl (Maya) and Silas strolled up.

"Heya! I was wondering if you two would mind being candidates for the surviving female for this man? Wow, your both so pretty."

Kumi was so confused at what was going on. She just stood there and smiled until the random girl (Maya) grabbed her hand and pulled her and Akira into a hug. Kumi had the most confused face planted on her. The girl hugged her tighter and Kumi felt claustrophobic.

"Sorry, I had to double check. From far away you look a little like a boy but up close your definitely female! I'm Maya Kenkon and I'm Silas's junior. You're now my friends!"

Kumi took a deep breathe as she was released from Maya's grip. Kumi then focused back as Maya shook her hand. Kumi then focused her attention to the giant man doing push ups. Kumi was quite overwhelmed. To much was going on. The man was talking about competition and races. Kumi was good at racing but it depended on her team. Kumi frowned as everything was going to fast for her. Before Kumi forgot She handed her notes to Akira and Akihisa. Then when she returned to Akira's side, Silas spoke.

"Do you always dress like that, Sugar? If you do, we'll get along just fine."

Kumi blushed as her attention faced Silas. Kumi's face turned red as she got out a few words. "Well, yes I will be wearing this." Really because she had too. She couldn't buy anymore uniforms. Silas was definitely a womanizer, but she wouldn't mind getting to know him he seemed sweet and Akira seemed to get along with him. She stuck her hand out at Silas hoping for a handshake. "Kumi Midori. Nice to meet you Silas." Kumi gave him a cute closed-eyed smile.

Akira

Akira blinked as Akihisa looked away, was that a yes? Does he really hate my company that much? Figures as much.. It's the same as it was back in Britain..It wasn't just the fact that her parents died, the people in Britain didn't like her. She had absolutely no friends, so her first year of highschool she got sent to Japan, "Don't worry! He won't hurt you if you're my friend.. at least I don't think he would.." Akira read over his note, her eyebrows raising before she could stop herself, the contents of Akihisa's note seemed to surprise her, and she smiled a bit afterwards, "Well...we can get to know eachother more later! Right now, it's time for you to make a new friend." she frowned, wrapping her arms around his neck from behind and turning Akihisa around forcefully, then pointed to (Maya) and Silas coming their way.

She let go of the boy and got back infront of him. Was Silas being...drug around by his junior? She smirked at the sight, placing one hand on her hip, "Well, well Silas, you put the 'whipped' in whipped cream." She laughed aloud, then blinked as Maya asked if they'd be his..heroine? Her face turned a dark red and she ran a hand through her hair, pushing some stray strands behind her ear, "N-No, we'd kill eachother...e-end of story. And Kumi, it's my job to protect her from lecherous seniors like our friend Silas here.." she sighed jabbing a finger in his direction, as if it was a tedious task to do so, "Silas, she is off-limits unless for some odd reason she likes you. Got it?" She smiled sweetly, then went to pat him on the shoulder, leaning in, scolding him was just an excuse "One minute you looked miserable, then partially content, I was going to save you, but your mixed signals were confusing. Are...you okay, or are you oddly enjoying her company? " Akira told him in a whisper, a worried tone in her voice, "Nod once for yes, blink twice for no.." and she moved away, "Kumi is really pretty..but..." she trailed off wondering if this girl was looking through a klediscope at Akira. she'd never found herself as being pretty, ever. Then she blushed even more, why was this girl huggging her? She doesn't even know my NAME! Akira frowned, slowly giving into the hugging, and put her arms around the other brunette's back and Kumi. What was this girl (Maya)!? Akira closed one eye at the tighter hug. How could this girl give out hugs so freely to strangers? She shook her head, trying to keep herself from attempting to rationalize something that couldn't be explained with reason. when she (Maya) finally let go, Akira backed away a few steps and nodded slowly, "It's fine, I might ask for a girl's uniform soon, I kind of want to play on the boys sporting teams though, If I don't, I'm definately getting a skirt, these pants are so bloody annoying. They feel weird when you walk." Then she twitched, not only did she slip up again with her accent, but Silas was still pretending she was a boy, why was it SO annoying when HE did it? "Silas, you know for a fact I'm not a guy, they've already figured me out..!" she mumbled, looking up at the Blonde senior, sending a sharp glare his way. Akira however smiled friendly as she could when she turned to face Maya and went ahead with shaking Maya's hand firmly. "I'm Akira Miyuu, a friend of Silas's. It's very nice to meet you, Maya. I hope to one day get to know you better." Akira turned around as she listened about the three legged race? Great..how would this ever work...? She was good at running, and hopping, but in tune with someone else? She wasn't sure how that would work, her and Kumi got matched with Varthur and...his junior. Okay..looks like she was meeting a lot of people today. Akira was muttering the rules under her breath, repeating the rules of the three-legged-potato-sack-race in her head over and over. She looked at Kumi and then Varthur from across the room, could either one of them race?

Akira twitched, returning back to the present and instantly grabbed Silas when he started hitting on Kumi, she had a frim grip on his hand, and frowned. She let out a calm breath not noticing she didn't have him by the wrist like earlier that morning, "I will GLADLY escort you to Kei..." she mumbled, she was jealous, but of who? Was it Silas or Kumi she was jealous of? THAT was the question, she took no time at all tugging Silas along without a second of remorse, "Too bad, I guess you've got no heroine. The lone hero, all by himself, his handsome figure fading as the wind slowly ages him.." she smirked at him, then laughed. The short haired brunette continued to tug him along the room until she really registered what she'd just said to her tall blonde friend, stopping in her tracks for a moment in horror. Akira bit her bottom lip, chewing on it nervously and then her eyes widened. Oh no... did I just call him handsome? She shook her head quickly, shrugging it off, maybe Silas wouldn't notice... she looked around, having forgotten where Kei was, but eventually caught sight of him again, this time she began pushing Silas by his back towards Kei, not wanting him behind her one single bit after her slip of words. She finally got him over to Kei, which meant safe territory hopefully. She had her hands on her knees, panting softly, "You need to lose some weight there mate.." she mumbled at Silas teasingly. She stood back up straight, she'd acted so childish to Kei earlier. She sighed, today was not her day, she'd only shown Kei to Silas because she didn't like him flirting with Kumi. Wait, wait, wait.. why DO I even really care that Silas is flirting with Kumi? I know I'm supposed to pretend..but, I really got mad at him, I'm not used to that.. "U-uhm my friend here seems forgetful. Hi, he's your partner today, him and his Junior." she pointed back at Silas and Maya, she waved her arm, motioning for Kumi and Akihisa to keep up with her and come over to where she was, "Has anyone seen Moki? My second Junior is on his team... cause Varthur is coming over and I've got to work on a game plan with him...."

Akira blinked when she saw Devone, nodding her head when she mentioned Akihisa, "Hi, yeah, we have Akihisa, that kid over there is Akihisa... " she pointed to him, "Brown hair, babyface, he's the second Junior I've been babysitting, is he yours?" she asked with the tilt of her head, "By all means, I didn't mean to take him, Mr. Swato threw his sleeve at me."

Kei Takeda

Kei couldn't help but start to wonder if Mr. Drone was every going to speak again, though his conversation with Momo was keeping him tided over for now. “Yes definitely, I’m really enthused to join the Music club..” For some reason he could have guessed she would be interested in the Music club so it didn't surprise him much. “Maybe something else that is more challenging in terms of physical.. don’t want to get out of shape you know?” "Haha, I know what you mean, I have to make sure and keep myself on a strict regime with the amount I eat" He would have said more but he noticed that Momo seemed to be trying to get into the zone, breathing and stretching a tad. He was thinking that having her as his Junior was nice, she was serious and seemed very nice, it made him feel a bit more relaxed. He took a moment to get himself prepared though, just being quiet and staring off into the distance a bit at nothing and taking a single deep breath. He didn't really get nervous before competitions, at least not physical competitions so he was more just taking a breather and trying to relax a bit. It didn't last long though, Mr. Drone soon informed them of the competition. “TIME FOR THE THREE LEGGED POTATO SACK RACE! OH YEAH! BOO YAH!” Kei just looked over at him with a little bit of disbelief, This has to be a joke... A three-legged sack race... I was expecting maybe a relay or some two person sport, but a sack race? Oh well, if that is the competition I guess it's time to sack race. He looked over to Momo who had a raised eyebrow which made him laugh gently, she had about the same reaction that he did. He had honestly been expecting a real sports competition but oh well, maybe this would be fun.

“So you know the other senior in our team? … I guess we should go find them?” Kei looked over, nodding, "Yeah... Well, I know of him..." Kei did know Silas but only by reputation and it didn't speak well of him, well okay that depended on who was talking about him. Some girls liked to say that he was a charming guy but the truth of the matter was he did nothing but flirt and play around with girls and plenty of them would tell it that way as well. Not that Kei could be sure on any of this not having seen much of it himself, save the occasional flirtatious act when they had classes together, but he just felt a bit reluctant to be in the same group, but he wanted to get to know everyone and this was a start. Kei would be just as nice as ever, rumors aside, Silas could be a nice guy for all he knew. Hell Kei was aware people thought he was some sort of felon with all the wounds he came with, his apparently intimidating appearance, and his rather quiet nature which didn't combine well. He looked back to Momo, "Alright, let's go find Silas and his partner..." With that he began to scan the crowd, to his surprise seeing Silas being pushed towards him by Akira. He laughed to himself looking back to Momo again, "The one being pushed this way is Silas..." He turned back around and waited for Akira to push Silas right next to him. Seeing her panting from the effort he had to hold back another small laugh, finding it rather funny, or cute rather, he liked the way she acted. "U-uhm my friend here seems forgetful. Hi, he's your partner today, him and his Junior." "Thank you for bringing him over Akira" He gave her a bit of a smile, trying not to make it awkward after the silly game they had both played, he wanted to get to know her as well as other people and if it was awkward from the start that would be no good, he was already bad enough at socializing. His eyes moved to Silas, wondering where his partner was and thinking they would have to wait for her to start discussing game plans. He did think that maybe Silas didn't know who he was though, which was why Akira had to show him to Silas, though she went the extra mile and brought him over, once again Kei thought it was cute how hard she tried. Then again that was besides the point, "Well I am Kei and this is Momo." He introduced himself and Momo to Silas, he wasn't quite sure what to say without his partner being here so he simply ended it at the introduction, not being so great at starting small talk.

Momo

Well.. you know of him..? Why does your pause make it sound like a bad thing.. hmm.
Momo pondered over it for a while but came to the realisation she’d find out sooner or later being teamed with whoever this ‘Silas’ was. She was more than definite that Kei had some kind of knowledge on the senior or at least an impression that had lead him to speak in such a way. "Alright, let's go find Silas and his partner..." “Roger that.” Momo replied in good spirits, picking up her bag and about to stand up to start walking until he began laughing much to her confusion. "The one being pushed this way is Silas..." Momo nodded, sitting back down in her seat and turning her head to where Kei’s gaze was focused. She watched as a girl..boy..no definitely girl (Akira) from this distance was shoving a male blonde their way who she assumed to be Silas. "U-uhm my friend here seems forgetful. Hi, he's your partner today, him and his Junior." The female (Akira) greeted pointing to the junior (Maya) a bit further away before panting from the amount of effort she put into getting their team member there. Uh..okay.. Momo thought, still confusedly. Surely Silas had his legs fully functional to walk himself over right? The approach made her think a few things; that maybe Silas was lazy, shy or just liked to make things difficult for others like his friend (Akira) with him. They must have been friends if she tried so hard to get him into the activity. "Thank you for bringing him over Akira" Momo adjusted her glasses to look at the girl again now knowing she was a senior too since Kei was familiar with her. From close up she was most definitely female that Momo felt a bit guilty mistaking her for a male. She was happy though that she didn’t make the mistake verbally. "Well I am Kei and this is Momo." Her senior introduced them making her snap out of her thoughts, “Ah right! Pleasure to meet you two Akira and Silas..” Momo said feeling slightly delayed. It did hit her like a sudden wave how good looking most students at Airdalen High were including those before her. ..

Another senior (Devone) seemed to approach making Momo feel more like shrinking in her seat being the only junior thus far in the group. The other junior (Maya) was yet to join. "Hey.. anyone in this group named Kairen or Akihisa.. and looking for a Devone? Can't seem to see Moki in this godforsaken hall.." "Hi, yeah, we have Akihisa, that kid over there is Akihisa..." She let the female seniors talk amongst themselves, turning to look at both Kei and Silas at an attempt to regain her composure. “So for the potato sack section of the race, I propose that the two selected individuals of the team that compete in their sacks help hold each other up.. I mean..” Momo was nervous as she thought she was rambling again and these were seniors she was talking to. Maybe they would think she was a junior who was full of herself to suggest a strategy and not let them take lead.. then again she didn’t like losing at anything. Concluding that, she continued speaking with enhanced confidence- her overachiever side taking the reins. “Hopping alone in a sack is hard enough but what more with two people? They need to balance each other’s weight and therefore I think it would be best if the two held hands in the middle. I know it sounds lame or gay if you two decide to do it together but I think it’s a good way to approach the task at hand. We could resort to arms over shoulders but if one lost balance, then both would be brought down to the ground. Holding hands you’d have a higher chance of correcting one another and this could actually even be applicable to the three legged section as well if followed through correctly… does anyone disagree or have a contagious fear of cooties?” she put forth her idea with a slight joke at the end though her expression was very much serious, looking at them both for any input. Momo dropped her bag on her seat as she stood up, jerking a thumb over her shoulder in the direction of the stage. "Great, now that we have an understanding I guess I'll get the ribbon and sack." she said being a bit assertive about it but she did remain standing by them in case they had anything to add.

Maya Kenkon

"N-No, we'd kill eachother...e-end of story”

“Aww…….”, the brunette pouted slightly, “Well then maybe he could be the psychotic guy who kills everybody and is one of the last to get killed himself.” Her burgundy eyes were suddenly alight with joy.”That’s would be awesome! He could definitely pull off the role of Kiriyama, though definitely not better then Masanobu-dono“During the throes of fan girl bliss she noticed that Akira introduced herself, “It’s nice to meet you too Akira, besides, you I think you look pretty in the uniform!” Glancing over at Kumi and Silas she couldn’t help frowning at the attention she was receiving. She wasn’t jealous, hell, she was the one who shot his flirtatious advantages down. But part of her wished that she could wear tight clothes like that, Kumi did look very cute in them. But her father and brothers had insisted on her wearing such an ensemble, custom made long skirt that went a little above her ankles along with a sweater and top that were a made for a girl much taller than her. “ Don’t trust him!”,she said energetically to Kumi, ”He’s going to give you Chlamydia just by talking to you.” Her explanation of how Silas was going to eat her up like a demon was cut short as Akira pulled him away. “I think she likes you” A grin plastered itself across her features at the possibility of a shoujo-ai romance situation before she rushed off to join her senior ,who was probably glad to be away from her for a few brief moments.

“You’re not getting away from me that easily”, she chirped as she rushed to stand beside him, her face glowing with optimism. She gently patted his head like a dog before turning her attentions to the pair in front of her. "I'm his junior " She glanced over at Akira and chuckled at her flushed face, partially glad that she wasn't the only one having difficulties with him. Even though Silas probably wanted her to stay behind she was going to press on no matter what.“You must be the people who are paired with us. I’m going to save you the surprise and tell you that you may be screwed because I’m a mess in the physical department.” Her smile never faded as she gave them this information, almost as if the fact that they may lose amused her. “But don’t worry, I’ll try my hardest no matter what!”,she raised her fist in the air and let out a bright chuckle. Calming down slightly, she studied them a bit before saying, “You must be Kei….and you must be Momo!” She immediately latched herself to the female before saying, “We’re gonna be great friends!” She then repeated the action with Kei before introducing herself. “I’m Maya Kenkon! And this is Silas” She pointed to the pissed blonde, “Be careful, he’s going to probably hit on you” She shook her head at Momo, mouthing ‘He’s bad news’ It was her personal revenge for when Silas had insulted her behind her back, she wasn’t dumb even though she acted too happy sometimes for people to consider her smart.

Holding hands you’d have a higher chance of correcting one another and this could actually even be applicable to the three legged section as well if followed through correctly… does anyone disagree or have a contagious fear of cooties?”

Maya raised her hand slightly before saying "No but I'm sure he has more than cooties." She pointed to Silas with a good natured smile adorning her features.

"N-No, we'd kill eachother...e-end of story. And Kumi, it's my job to protect her from lecherous seniors like our friend Silas here.." "Lecherous? Never." He smirked at Akira; "They always ask me for it." She scolded him, then leaned in, tugging his shoulder down. He bent his head to listen. "One minute you looked miserable, then partially content, I was going to save you, but your mixed signals were confusing. Are...you okay, or are you oddly enjoying her company? Nod once for yes, blink twice for no.." Silas chuckled as she pulled away, and gave her a wink. Her concern was sweet, but her faith in him was a little lacking. I have never needed saving. This is all a game. And I play it well. It was a game; this school, the fights... the sighs of lust. Trifles. In the end, what did they garner him? Nothing worth more than a fleeting glance. So what if he messed with their heads? Their hearts? The alternative- the dull, boring, life that his father had fated for his future could wait. For now he was going to live; fast, hard and reckless. He was going to keep running, and not look back. She was joking if she thought a little Junior would be able to get in his way.

Haven't I showed you? Time and time again. ...No one controls me. No one can catch me.

Fate; he'd always been able to dictate it here. Here he was still free. ... For one more year. "Silas, you know for a fact I'm not a guy, they've already figured me out..!" He flashed her a cheeky smile. It was nice. Here with her. She didn't know him, and he didn't know her... but times like these were healing. She was strong of spirit, nippy; a little like that small cat who Brummer, his German Shepherd, had tried to eat yesterday.... Quick and lithe- taunting him from a higher ledge. Ah, Kätzchen. I am glad I met you. She was one of the few who could walk through his wildfire without getting burnt...

"Kumi Midori. Nice to meet you Silas." "Kumi..." He let the word roll of his tongue slowly. "What a cute name.." Silas felt a hand grab his before he could reach out and take the green haired girl's; "I will GLADLY escort you to Kei..." Akira pulled him away, rather suddenly. "What's this? Running interference?" Look who's jealous~. For you, I won't touch her... Hmh. That's a lie. He laughed, "Well alright Ref." Does she know how hard she is gripping my fingers?... "Too bad, I guess you've got no heroine. The lone hero, all by himself, his handsome figure fading as the wind slowly ages him.." There was a pause, and Akira's strides quickened. "Handsome." Silas repeated under his breath. His eyes did not miss the way she ducked her head slightly, before recovering. ... This has either made things clear... or muddled them. He broke his eyes away from the back of her head, deciding not to dwell on it. A simple comment after all... Words are fickle things. What was that noise? Was she panting...? He looked down at her arm, straining as she pulled him forward. Oops. "You need to lose some weight there mate.." "What are you talking about? I'm not fat." Silas put his hand in his pocket, watching her make a big deal out of being exhausted, lifting up the bottom of his shirt lazily; "What? ...These not hard enough for you?" Cocking his head to the side, he smirked.

"U-uhm my friend here seems forgetful. Hi, he's your partner today, him and his Junior." I'm not forgetful... I just didn't know who he was. Silas' eyes examined Kei. Well built. Strong shoulders, good stance... He glanced down at the boy's hands. .. Calloused knuckles. A fighter. Perhaps a boxer? "Well I am Kei and this is Momo." "Erfreut. Silas." He smiled at Kei, offering his hand, then did the same to Momo. "Hold on..." He turned away, yelling loudly over his shoulder; "MAYA!", Then turned back, an easy smile returning. "My junior." He said simply, gesturing to the approaching girl. "She's clumsy, so she'll need to be... helped." “You’re not getting away from me that easily.” Wouldn't dream of it... Maya patted his hair... On the nape of his neck; Not really being able to reach the top of his head. "I'm his junior. You must be the people who are paired with us. I’m going to save you the surprise and tell you that you may be screwed because I’m a mess in the physical department. But don’t worry, I’ll try my hardest no matter what!” She almost hit him in the jaw as she raised her hand enthusiastically.

Annoying little.. “Be careful, he’s going to probably hit on you.” Silas sighed. Just what he needed. Though, I suppose my reputation precedes me already...

The pink haired girl, Momo, spoke. Smart. But textbook smart. Everything is different in practice, love. "Holding hands is a good idea." He glanced down at Momo. She's too small... "It would be better one per." He said, addressing Kei. There's no way the girls would survive paired together... especially with Maya. "Who's a faster runner? Me or you?" "No but I'm sure he has more than cooties." Silas smiled tightly, irked, turning his back on Maya purposefully and bent down to Momo to explain; "I'm trying to save you from that, dear. There's no way you'd keep her upright. She's got to be in the sack, as she has no coordination even when walking normally." He smirked. "The question now is, with whom?"

“Wait a second, I think if you and me paired together and let the girls pair together it would be best. I mean our heights are much closer and it would probably be easiest if we were paired. Just saying, leg length is going to be important.” Silas looked over at Kei's legs. I didn't think about that... It was true- In the three legged race, having an equal partner would make it easier, but then what were they to do about Maya...? No doubt having her cling to him as he did the jumping in the Sac Race would be cheating... He grinned. Still... It would have worked... Sure it would have..

The girl, Momo, pushed up her glasses prudently; “Right.. I actually agree with Kei somewhat. It makes sense.” She shot him a flippant look; “No way huh? I guess we’ll see.. “ And smirked... That smirk. It curled on her lips; pursing them together as if she had just tasted something disgusting. Tense much darling? So she was that type of girl. Mmm. It was a simple diagnosis by his reasoning: Ruled by the head, shall be forever lonely in bed. She probably thought I was aiming to be paired with her. Heh. Silas smiled tauntingly, raising his hands; "Doesn't matter to me." He caught both her eye and her challenge. But if we lose... I'll know who to blame.

“By the way.. you have no right to call me ‘dear’ or any sickening pet names you can think of in our small forced time together" Ooh... Sweet. Ice. Queen. He bit his tongue. No time for me, no time for anyone... Her blue eyes spoke volumes... Silas searched them as they bore furiously into his own; He was inferior, deviant, unrefined... Contemptible. Like an poisonous creature she was simply itching to squash. He forced down his laughter. No "pet names" hm? Shall I call you by something worse then?... What would you do about it I wonder...

So let’s just get on with this team and you can stop making such a bad and miserable impression of yourself. Fair enough?” He shrugged. "Fair enough Junior. I made my impression, you made yours. You sure like to assert your dominance... nipping at the heels of bigger dogs." In his time, he'd had much worse than a few pretentious words. Though.. The challenge was still there. That, he could not ignore. She had turned away from him. Silas opened his eyes slowly, observing the way her pink hair curled down her back. His voice carried after her, lower; "Careful there honey; Little girls shouldn't be tempting bad, miserable boys."

Silas seemed to shake himself out of it- the churning in his eyes dimmed. Perhaps she hadn't heard him, the girl was talking to a blonde boy. He smiled over to Kei; "You sure have a charming Junior, Bruder. Quite spicy." He glanced over at the girls talking to the... New kid. Obviously not a Junior, but not local either. Silas sighed. Another stray. Turning on his heel, he patted Kei on the back, sauntering off; "I'll get the ribbon and sac, be right back."

Akira

(OOC: Sorry if it's short and choppy, I'm taking 8 classes now...xD and I slept in tonight/went back to school today)

"I do not!" Akira snapped at Maya's statement about her, "I don't like anyone like that..I have to get my grades up, I don't want to live minimum wage for the rest of my life. I don't have the time for highschool romance. It never ends well anyway.. someone always gets hurt.." she added with a frown at Maya's comment, her face still a dark red. This girl was too observative. Maya, this junior was surely going to be the end of her! Akira turned her attention back to Silas, "You're always so difficult." and she rolled her eyes, "I'm not letting you near Kumi, I thought you could behave, but it seems I never cease to overestimate you Silas." Akira had stopped when he repeated what she'd accidentally slipped out about finding him handsome, "Yeah, so? I was just picking on you. I tend to keep myself at a friendly distance from the wild fire if you haven't noticed.. it was just a harmless compliment." And with that, she rolled her eyes, "You are definitely getting fat." she stuck her tongue out at him, pushing his shirt back down. Akira knew that Silas wasn't fat, but any more embarrassment and she'd end up fleeing to her favorite spot on the roof and Varthur, Kumi and Jack would be partnerless, "Silas, did you ever think some of us could live without being flashed?" she crinkled her nose as if she found it disgusting, slapping his shoulder. What was she doing? She could NOT do this her senior year, it was unacceptable. Silas was her friend, nothing more. Why was she getting so upset when he was flirting with Kumi? It never bothered her when he flirted with other girls. She could not start liking Silas now. She knew what he did with girls, she didn't feel like being the next chew toy, fun for a while then tossed aside like an old shoe. Akira knew that she had to focus on her grades this year if she wanted to get in a good college, so she didn't have time to worry about a boy.

She'd gotten trapped in her thoughts, and she jumped as Kei spoke, Akira nodding at him, "No problem Kei." She smiled sweetly, trying to recover from her previous encounter with Silas. This was going to be a very long year, Maya got her to say something she didn't mean to say at all.. then she noticed the pink haired girl that had caught her attention like a zillion times before today and she smiled at Momo, "Sorry.. nice to meet you as well." she smiled to the pink haired girl, "Seems you got a cute junior too Kei." she added with a grin, "This is a good year."

Akira smiled a bit when she heard Varthur, spinning on her heel, executing it perfectly and swiftly, "Oh, hey, sorry, had to show Silas to Kei, he doesn't seem to remember male faces as much as females." She rolled her eyes, " It's perfectly fine.. I'm sure we'll figure out a way for you to do perfectly fine.." Akira watched Varthur dumbfounded for a moment before reaching out and putting his arms at his sides manually without thinking about it, "Hey, we need to work on a game plan, calm down first, freak out later.. I really understand how you feel right now, but I don't want to lose to HIM." She pointed at Silas and stretched her arms to not be as obvious. When Varthur asked who her junior was, she froze mid stretch and blinked for a moment then pointed at Kumi, "Thats my junior right there, but we're already kind of friends instead of 'junior and senior'." She added with a grin, "Adorable isn't she? Though she might get mad at me for saying that.." then she tapped her chin, "The one running with the ribbon runs by themself right? I didn't understand Mr. Drone that well...he's...eccentric to say the least. " She could run pretty fast by herself, but being tied to someone else is what would drag her down if she did the three-legged-race part.. then she noticed how worried Varthur seemed to be, and she gave him an encouraging smile, "I'll help you with sports if you help me study?" She offered him as well, holding out her hand, "Deal?" she wanted to get to know more people, and seeing as Varthur was smart, he could help her study as she got to know him. It was a win, win situation right?

Silas maneuvered through the crowd, pushing his way towards the table... It was complete chaos. Ribbons and sacs were flying everywhere. Students jostled to claim their own, jamming together and preventing any possible way to get to the front of the crush. They had all rushed forward at once it seemed; a panicked frenzy of hopeful contestants. Silas' fingers twitched. That... was the third elbow to my gut. Scowling, he took a deep breath. It didn't work. This was taking too long...

"EVERYONE. FUCKING. MOVE."

He bellowed, startling the students in front of him. The crowd went quiet, watching as he grabbed his materials grumpily. Grumbling, Silas turned turned to make his way back out of the fray. As soon as he was clear, the chaos resumed behind him. Fucking piranhas...
Suddenly, someone wrapped their arms tightly around his stomach. Silas bristled, bracing to retaliate against an angry peer offended about his "cutting in line."... His hand almost closing around the small face before he recognized the cheerful voice; “Are you actually getting our stuff or hepatitis C?” Damn you Maya. Jumping me from out of fricking nowhere... He had almost shoved her back by her face. Be more careful. I can't look down all the time. So inconsiderate... Why did she have to be so short? Stupid kid. Did she even realize how bad that could have gone? Though... He wasn't startled. Not at all...

Silas stiffened. w-What? Her hands had opened over his stomach, traveling slowly up over his shirt. Silas stopped breathing for a second, glancing down to watch as the material bunched and was flattened under the little hands. They paused; palms pressed against him. He could feel the warmth radiate through the uniform... What the hell is she doing? This is... So wrong. Before he could react, his shirt was jerked upwards... a crass voice breaking through his muddled thoughts; “Damn you're stacked.” Silas' fists clenched around the sac, before he raised a brow; "... I look even better with it off." He flexed slightly, leaning back to flash her an arrogant grin. “But that doesn’t make up for your douchebaggy behavior.” Silas grimaced.

”Lets see how big this is” Maya gleefully released his shirt to grab the sac from his hand. Psh. Douchebaggy. ... What does that even mean...? Annoying english insults. They make no sens- Oh shit. Maya had stepped into the sac, and like a colt learning to walk... took an experimental step forward."Maya don't!-" Silas winced, watching as the girl's foot flew out behind her, and she went flying forward.
-You.. can't walk in a sac...

"Darn." Silas blinked, then shook his head; a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. She had kissed the floor... and yet, all she had to say about it was "darn"? Too cheerful for your own good, Mausi. It has messed with your head. He strode over to her as she stood. “This is a bit more difficult than I thought.” Ridiculously optimistic... How can you even stand? "Maybe I should try the ribbon thing." "No." Silas said sternly, moving the ribbon behind his back. "You'll only fall on your face again." His hand came to her temple, brushing away the strands, and he frowned. His eyes sobered for a moment before they snapped back down to her's; "Idiot. Now you'll be even less likely to balance correctly." He grabbed her hand. Only to steady her... Can't have her falling again. Idiot. Picking up the sac, Silas led them back to Kei and Momo. "You don't walk in a sac. You have to jump forward." He didn't even know why he was offering her advice. She'd fail miserably anyway.

He pulled her along, watching as Kei and Momo approached them. “Awww your actually acting like a friend!" Silas' eyes narrowed as she patted his cheek. “Maybe you’re going to actually take my advice, but then again you’re probably going to deny it in the end to spite me.” Humph. What advice? I've already forgotten it.

They came to a halt as the other reached them, Silas dropping Maya's hand as soon as she was standing still. Kei spoke, a smile breaking over his face; "Maya, you should make Momo practice with you so you can get a feel for it." Silas knew a look like that. He was actually surprised to see it run across the features of the senior; Kei seemed so reserved. One of those down-to-earth sort of people who knew exactly what they wanted... Calm and never ruffled. But this look. It was playful. Slightly teasing. Hm. So he does have a sense of humor? Kei turned to him; "What do you think Silas, wouldn't it be fun to see?" Silas met his eye, then looked back down at the girls. "Oh yes." A devilish smile creeping over his features; "Maya... Help Momo out." He chuckled. Scared to be paired with her now? I knew i- “Okay let’s try Maya.” Silas glanced over at the pink-haired girl, readying herself. She tore the sac from his fingers, then stepped inside, waiting for Maya. Rather angry there... He didn't expect she'd be so determined... Especially after seeing what Maya could do. She must know this will end badly...

Aich. If I don't look, I'm not responsible for her death.

They jumped together, Maya wrapping one arm around Momo. Silas raised his brows. They were actually doing quite well... Bouncing like little... Bunny rabbits. Ah. Cute... Oh no.. Maya had begun to laugh hysterically, then tripped, bringing Momo down with her. Silas' eyes widened, looking slowly over to Kei; I'm. so. sorry man. No idea what's wrong with her. Smiling awkwardly, Silas raised a hand to the back of his head, giving Kei an apologetic look; "Heh. Yeah. This happens a lot..." "Lets try again" Maya jumped up with enthusiasm, pulling Momo to her feet as well. Silas shook his head. "Don't worry. She's fine. Though, your junior may not be.." He shifted in the pause, expression unsympathetic, before raising the ribbon casually; "So... Want to try?"

"Yeah sure, let's give it a go, I think if we can get in sync before the actual race we can pull enough of a lead to really give these two some leeway." Silas smiled, nodding; "Yeah. Exactly what I was thinking." If they could bring down the overall time significantly, it wouldn't matter too much if the girls were slow. ... Not that you can go that fast in a sac anyway... "So which side do you want, left or right?" He paused for a second, thinking. "I'll tie my left to your right." Silas placed the side of his shoe against the outside of Kei's right, bending to tie the ribbon around their calves. "My right is stronger." It will help balance me.. He grinned up at Kei, double-tying the knot with one final tug; "Don't hold back Bruder. I can keep up." Silas stood, getting a feel for the awkward stance. ... Soccer drills. This wouldn't be to hard... Coordination exercises were no strangers. All they had to do was fall into step...

Silas linked his arm through Kei's, completely comfortable with invading the other's personal space. Not that Kei had any once he was tethered to Silas. "Right. Let's practice. Lean forward ja?" It was slightly wobbly at first; their tied legs preventing smooth strides, as if they were hobbling forward. However, by pushing off the balls of their feet instead of running heel-to-toe, the two finally got the hang of synchronizing their strides. Their tethered legs coming down together with a bump of hips, before they pushed off- propelling their free legs forward to strike the ground at the same time, regaining their balance with their linked arms. ... Just focus-...

“ALRIGHT EVERYONE,
SACKERS TO THE FRONT OF THE STAGE! THERE’S A RED LINE DRAWN FOR THE STARTING POINT ON THE GROUND AND YOU WILL RUN ALL THE WAY TO THE WALL AT THE VERY BACK AND TIPPING IT SO THE NEXT PAIR CAN GO!"

Silas frowned as they came to a halt, watching Mr. Drone on stage. Not much practice... Ah well. He glanced over to the girls; "We should go." Silas started forward, forgetting he was still connected to Kei. He huffed in irritation; reaching back to grab the boy's hand, and tugged him forward- hobbling towards the stage. No. I don't want to untie those knots.

Finally their team was assembled against the side of the stage... After a clumsy attempt at climbing the stairs...
THE THREE LEGGED NEXT PAIR WILL AWAIT THEIR TEAM MEMBERS AT THE BACK, ONCE THE WALL IS TIPPED BY THEIR SACKER TEAM MEMBERS, THEY RUN TO THE FRONT OF THE STAGE. FIRST THAT GET THERE WIN.

"Right." Silas grinned down at Maya, ruffling her hair. "Fall and I kill you." He pushed her forward towards the front of the stage; "Hals- und Beinbruch!" Silas smiled, waving her off. "Break a leg," It was a common english phrase; but, in German the saying was slightly more gruesome: "Break your neck and a leg!"...
Fitting.

BOTH SACKERS’ FEET MUST BE INSIDE THE BAG AT ALL TIMES DURING THE RACE AND BOTH THREE LEGGED PERSONS MUST HAVE THE RIBBON REMAINED TIED TO LINK THEM ABOVE THEIR ANKLES BUT NO HIGHER THAN THEIR KNEE.

Silas checked their ribbon again, it was secured comfortably tight right below their knees.
EVERYONE GET INTO POSITIONS!"
"Ready?" Silas smirked, nudging Kei's shoulder as they took their spot across from Momo and Maya. "If we fall for any reason, make sure you take someone down with you." He set his sights on the finish line behind the girls, planting his starter foot behind him, and linked his arm with Kei's again. "As soon as they cross..." He let the words hang. Kei knew they would have to make up for any distance lost. Silas grinned in anticipation; Los jetzt!

Silas grinned at Kei. They were both ready. He could see the finish line... He wouldn't let it out of his sight. Neve- Blonde hair obscured his view. Silas' eyes fell down past the gold strands, meeting pale blue eyes impatiently as they glanced over to him. You're moving too slow kid. I'm growing old standing here.. ... -It was him. That kid… The kid he had helped earlier. .. Sort of. The cute little nurse. Hah.

"Viel spass…" Silas blinked. Sprichst du Deutsch? How interesting… How did he know I would understand? Did he hear me earlier?… Silas watched the Junior cross in front of him, eyes slowly raking over the thin boy's physique. I'll have fun alright- Nodding at the boy, Silas' eyes slitted slightly until the Junior broke his gaze. He turned his head to watch as the boy passed him, his voice low and slightly sinister; "Toi, toi, toi…" -Winning.

It was all about the competition.

Silas' attention was drawn away by Mr. Drone, explaining once more the rules. "Let's win this man…" He nodded at Kei, locking his eyes on the girls before them. Once they touched the wall… He would get to that finish line first. Even if he had to drag Kei along by his ankle. Or him me… They were going to win. The adrenaline was setting in- "GO!!!" Silas bent forward a little, muscles taunt… Just a little farther… DONT YOU DARE FALL- Oh good… come on.. "This is for cosplay!" Wha- For what? What the hell? Confused, Silas lost his focus for a second, Kei's confident voice snapping him back; "Leave it to us now. Let's do this." Without pausing, Kei stepped off. Silas followed, unbalanced, but regained his footing, matching Kei's determined strides. No doubt he would have just dragged me…

It was a short dash… but it felt like forever. The ribbon inhibiting their movement just enough to infuriate Silas. The movement was not smooth enough… It chipped away at their time. He could taste the seconds slipping by. "Almost there Silas, I think we got it…" "For sure we got it." Silas cut back gruffly. No way he would lose to this damn tiny piece of material. Kei's strides elongated, as they sprinted as fast as possible to the finish line- done with being cautious. He was going to stomp on that line. Show this annoying piece of ribbon… making him look ridiculous. Pah. The least he could do was win.
So close…-

---

They slowed to a stop. A wide, cocky smile split on Silas' face. He took a deep breath, turning to Kei and slapped him across the back celebratorily; "FICK JA!" Then glared down at the ribbon, kneeling to undo the knots. They had won. Of course.

Silas huffed and straightened, holding the ribbon up triumphantly. "HAH." Then promptly stepped on it. Humiliating thing.

Silas pivoted as he felt Kei tap his shoulder, "Let's go congratulate the girls", his gaze falling upon their teammates as they struggled out of the sac. “WHOOOO, WE’RE WINNERS!” Silas smiled slightly, shaking his head as Maya fumbled and pulled Momo up. They had fallen in the end... but Momo had held out long enough to save Maya from being murdered... by him. Maya ran over to them, wrapping her arms rather tightly around Kei and him, and squashing Momo into the victory hug as well. “Yay, team number one!”

Silas growled, done with being sqoze; "Get.. off." You. Cheerleader. He pried her off him, twisting out of the hug. Way too close for comfort. She bounced up and down, Silas' annoyance growing with every jump. “So awesome, and you call yourself a bad person” Silas glared, then looked away as if irritated. What would you know… He heard Maya giggle, then a loud "Thump", glancing back down to find the spot Maya had stood previously, empty. Where did she go? He looked around, before his eyes followed the direction of Kei's uncomfortable gaze. She was on the floor on her back…. Her legs straight over her head. Bewildered, Silas raised a brow. What is wrong with you? He sighed. …I have a feeling I will be asking that same question many times over… She didn't move. Was she stunned? … Her skirt slipped down a little lower. Silas pivoted sharply, hand going to his hair causally; focusing his eyes on anything… Anything but the thin, pale legs that were burned into his vision. I didn't need to see that. Idiot. It had been a trap from the beginning. He should have never looked down.

Silas ignored Maya laughing at herself, smiling as Akira wandered over. "Congrats. Too bad my lazy partner left. Oh well, I got some good Facebook footage. Anyone mind me posting this on facebook? I forgot to ask.." Of course she would. Akira you… Silas scowled. She was going to put that ridiculous attempt at running... up on Facebook? … She knew exactly how to prod him. Damn you.
Why was she even asking? It was probably already up. Just to spite him. Grrr… "Thats fine." Silas remarked flippantly; "We still look fucking sexy" He gestured over his shoulder at Kei; "Even when we're waddling like a three-legged penguin." Silas grinned, then twitched as he felt a finger jab into his stomach. Maya piped up, continually poking him; "Aww, you should have asked them if you could get in the sack with Momo, then I could have just gotten on his back and leveled the playing field a bit. Or we could have had a super awesome chicken fight and you could have been the referee, just like those refs I see on tv when Kichiro-Niichan watches bikini mud wrestling!"

"No." He crossed his arms over his stomach. "No way I'm carrying you." Though… Chicken is fun… Akira replied politely; "You talk about a lot of things I've never heard of..." Hah. I've given up trying to make sense of anything that comes out of her mouth… "Silas...carry someone? That would be the day.." "Yeah. What he said." Silas uttered brusquely, irked with being in the center off all the chatter, his gaze catching some students congregating around a bulletin board. "I'll be right back… Stay." He patted Maya's head as she talked with Akira, striding off towards the sports sign ups.
Silas wrote his name in caps; four lines tall, on the "Soccer" roster. Well boys... It's my last year. It was depressing thinking about leaving the team. Silas pushed the morose thought from his head.
Meandering back, Sila's cheek was assaulted as soon as he stopped at Maya's side; "I'll make sure…" His expression darkened. Don't. Touch. My. Cheeks. Gh. She was so… Ahrgh.

He looked over to Akira, Kei and Momo as they spoke. Akira had her face in her hand; "I don't think I really want to know what the cosplay had to do with it.." Hm? "Girls…" Akira addressed Momo and Maya, shooting him a taunting glance; "keep the cosplay behind closed doors. We don't want you getting molested by Silas." "Hey-" She jabbed her finger at him; "He loves bunny girls, maid, and neko costly." I like what? Kei cut in, obviously amused; "I don't know, Maya seems to have Silas under control" Silas' brows knotted in confusion; What are they accusing me of? "Cosplay"? In all his years at Airdalen, he'd never heard of it…. Momo looked very uncomfortable. What kind of playing is it?… And why does everyone seem so apprehensive about it?..

He was leaning in towards Akira, about to ask her what she meant, when Maya cheerfully answered Kei; "It's alright, I have a shock collar at home I can use on him. I'll make sure he's reigned in." Silas froze. For a split second, he felt ice run down his back. An unnerving comprehension of what those words meant flashing through his mind; ... Being powerless to resist her strange whims… It would be the.. worst fate imaginable. Then fire began to build in his gut; A col-… COLLAR!?" He looked down at her in furious disbelief. I'm not your damn PET you insolent little child. Grrr… Chaining him up. Hah. Ha… He wouldn't put it past her. Somehow… Maya was a little scary. Full of… determination, and that little innocent smile… Hehhh. Silas shook himself out of it; Shit. What am I thinking? She's so tiny. She wouldn't even reach my neck anyway… Storming away, Silas left to retrieve his school bag.

"Yeah. Thanks Mr. Drone." Silas slipped the ribbon into his sports duffle, listening as the teacher explained about a "Picnic". Eh? Würste? Silas' eyes lit up, searching for his partner… And found her. Maya was headed toward him. "C'mon Inu-chan, lead me to the rest of the food." She tugged on his shirt like a child would, pouting. "Inu-chan?" He frowned. Why do I get the feeling that title is degrading?… "Yeah. Yeah.." He slipped from her grasp; "It's this way." Silas was turning to leave when a female voice addressed them:

"Hello, I am Sera, I got here late and my Senior seems to have ran off. What is going on?"

He looked back, his attention caught. Well, Hello yourself… A slow smile washed over his features; Tich. Damage control. He pushed in front of Maya before she could speak, and offered his hand; "Silas. This-" He gestured behind him, "is my Junior Maya." Silas said, enfolding the new girl's warm palm in his. Leaning in slightly he chuckled, so that only Sera could hear; "She's slightly cracked… Don't believe a word she says." Then backed off, letting her fingers slip slowly from his grasp. "So. You're new." New… A junior? Taller than most girls here… And well-… Endowed. How is she is only a junior? "Your Senior left you? That's too bad…" His lips quirked up into a grin; "I guess you'll just have to follow us until you find them. They should be at the Picnic. We were just headed that way ourselves, join us?"

-Earlier-

"I will admit Maya does seem to have a certain hold over him you're not falling for her are you Silas?" "I don't fall for anyone, darling." He shot back, rolling his eyes as if he was insulted by the mere notion of it. Akira decided to give him her opinion on Maya's plan; "I think you'd look GREAT in a collar." He grimaced. Don't encourage her. "Yeah. You'd love to tie me up wouldn't you?" He winked at Akira; "Put me in your closet..."

Silas' eye twitched as he watched her submit the video onto the web... And tagged him in it. Shit. "I'll agree to the sexy statement, but you're so conceited that it cancels you out Silas." "Ah, so you do find me sexy~. I knew it." He crossed his arms in satisfaction and grinned; "Not conceited- Just the truth. You said so yourself." Wouldn't insult him? Hah. We'll see how long she lasts... "You're a per-" Pervert? Everyone calls me that... Jeez. It's like I'm not even sexy or something. Perverts are ugly, old men- "..living in Japan and don't know what cosplay is?!" "Well sorry for not knowing about your strange customs. I don't believe the word "Cosplay" ever came up in language class..." She dragged him away from everyone else as he complained; "It's a perverts playland, they have maids, and nurse outfits, and much more." Akira showed him her phone... and Silas' eyes went wide. ... Fuck. Tight.. Revealing.. Costumes...
Nhhh...
He glanced over to Maya, and then to Momo letting out a slow whistle. Now that would be something worth seeing. Even if he had to wear a collar. Okay, no. No collar. But still... Wait. Silas paused. What kind of person was Maya? Knowing about this sort of thing. Psh. He always knew she was a trap...

Silas looked back at Akira, shaking his head; "And you call me a pervert." He pushed her phone away, feigning disgust as she towed him back to their group; "How can you live with yourself? Shame on you."

-Silas now knows what cosplay is. Hide yo wives.-

Present:

Silas stared, fuming as Maya "introduced" herself. You call me a pervert with HIV? I'm not the one kissing random people as soon as I meet them.
Another acquaintance possibly ruined by Maya's crass mouth... I wasn't even provoking retribution either. Damn girl. Did you hear anything flirtatious come out my mouth? NO. This must be what it is like having a mom. A immature, childish, miniature one...

Maya was all over Sera... Silas made no move to help. He didn't need her hugging him. "Let's go Silas, I can smell the food now. And apparently they are using the good stuff." He followed the girls as Maya made her way towards the door. Suddenly, Maya's train of thought went off on a completely different tangent; "Do both of you live alone? You seem to give off that certain vibe." What? Vibes other than pheromones? He chuckled to himself. Maya could be so... odd. Sera actually answered her, turning slightly to lock eyes with him; "You are correct, I live in an apartment by myself, not too far from here actually." He held her gaze, giving her a smirk of his own; "I too live alone... Not too far from here." He said slowly, "In fact," his eyes slipped down the curve of her body, and away; "It gets awfully boring..." "But yours seems a bit more like your guardian is merely gone for long stretches of time, a bit like a party crashers parent." Silas looked down at Maya; "Yeah. My Vater is never home." He chuckled; "But I'm not a party crasher.. -I'm the host."

"I'm sorry if you thought i left unexpectedly, i didn't mean to seem as if i did, Sera." Hm? Her Senior?... Silas turned, observing the boy walking toward them. He knew Maya as well... Oh, that's right- The new kid from earlier. He turned to Silas, offering a polite smile and a cultured hand; "I don't believe, I've met you. My name is Kaien, whats yours?" Ah. So that's what it is about you... He'd seen this before... Silas' studied the boy as if sizing him up. Mannerisms.. speech.. attire.... hands.
Polished, courtly, refined. Yep. No doubt he was "something". Silas knew blue blood when he saw it. It was how he was raised, after all. In Germany, one could not make the mistake of disrespecting superiors. Not even if they were disliked. It was just how society functioned. Especially within the business world. One mistake, and you were dishonored. As much as he hated to admit it, the whole "honor" thing was a habit ingrained in him from childhood.. And it was hard to break. Finally, he took the boy's hand in his own, easing the heavy atmosphere. Silas seemed to change; his posture erect, cordial.. his voice deepening respectfully; "Silas Fuerst. A pleasure." He shook the boy's hand once firmly, before returning it to his side. He watched him closely, what the boy did next would determine weather or not Silas was required to continue with the formalities.
