Cassie's main pillar of support even with contradicting assumptions in this country, had always been Aeon. That's why she felt completely safe and protected, as if nothing can harm her as long as he was with her. It's why that her tears came to a stop which slowly turned into hiccups. She eased herself and took a deep breath before raising her head and looked into those indigo-colored eyes of his. Her expression was that of sweetness and gentleness. “Thank you, Aeon.” She reached for the hand which he placed on top of her head. She squeezed it as a gesture of appreciation. She then wiped the remaining tears from her eyes and gave a small smile. That was when she noticed the people around them.

She looked at them apologetically. “Sorry.” She also bowed down her head and even gave Aeon a set of her apologies as well. It was then she noticed the two people behind her. Her eyes widened in disbelief because she believed that they were just part of her imagination. She blinked her eyes many times before speaking. “Mai? Raiden?” She asked with curiosity and sparkling happiness in her ruby-colored eyes. “It's really you!” She smiled happily unaware and completely ignorant to the fact that they might not know her. Well, it didn't stop her as she rushed towards the two with a wonderful smile. “I'm so happy to see you two!”

Cassie is without reservations as she embraced Raiden and Mai in her excitement. When she was done, she released the two and looked at Aeon's direction. “Aeon, this is Raiden and this is Mai. They're my friends!” She was very enthusiastic in doing the introductions. “This is Aeon.” She then looked back at the two happily. “They helped me when I was in a pinch!” She declared with great admiration. Yes, she was rather getting ahead of herself, but, that is simply how she is.

"Less people, less problems... that is a fact."

How easy yet how fragile is this girl in front of him. This was the thought within Aeon's thoughts. Cassiopeia easily adapts, shows, and yet remained vividly herself no matter what the circumstances are. She is remarkably strong. It is something he sees as very admirable which he will not admit so openly. At the same time, it could also be seen as a fault. There were no guarantees that people will not use that against her. In that sense, he would have to simply be a barrier for such doings. That was some of the expected duties he has for being her fiancé in an essence. Perhaps, this gesture of his was also a part of his responsibility. Now, that would be rather cold, but, he knew it was not.

In any case, Cassiopeia had managed to calm down as the girl stifled her tears and met his gaze. She thanked him and squeezed the hand which he had placed on her head as a comforting gesture. This was their odd relationship. He does care for her however, it was not of romantic inclinations. This was something Aeon was certain of at this moment. They might not be of what people call love, however, they are strong enough for him to enter circumstances which he deems as annoyances. “No need to thank me.” That was all he said as he returned his hand to his side.

As for the crowd which gathered around them, they were amused of the scenes. It was not every day they could see these two beautiful seniors together even more act much like a couple. It would seem that Cassiopeia had noticed the attention they were getting and said her apologies. Really, there was nothing for her to be sorry about. They were not intruding on anyone. Actually, they were the ones who were being a bother and a nuisance. In Aeon's view, they were simply wasting their time watching other people's lives. They should mind their own business. “There is nothing to be sorry about.” After stating that, some of the onlookers dispersed around them.

However, Cassiopeia seemed to have found another source of intrigue and curiosity. The girl greeted two individuals specifically named Raiden and Mai from what he has heard. She seemed very happy and wonder when did she met these two. Well, he does not mind her meeting new people. It was good for her to socialize and mingle with others as long as they would not have misdirected intentions or cause trouble for her. After all, it will be a trouble he will have to solve it. It did not take that long for her to introduce him to the two. Aeon did not do anything to show acknowledgement. He simply looked at them with his usual stoic face. Nevertheless, he was interested especially when she declared these two helped her in a pinch.

What was that pinch exactly? Aeon gazed at Cassiopeia and then back again to the two. He would need to know what Cassiopeia meant exactly. For now, this is what he do for now. “Thank you for aiding, Cassiopeia.”

Mai

It seemed both she and her cousin were walking in silence, still holding onto his hand Mai diverted her gaze from those around them especially Raiden’s. She wasn’t sure how he was reacting to the news but she knew it probably didn’t bother him too much since he didn’t know this Varthur person. Or does he? her lips parted as if to ask voice her curiosity, instead she allowed for her gaze to feed that curiosity. Without realizing it the both of them had walked into a large crowd of people, instinctively Mai walked closer to Raiden so that she could pass by without really bumping into anyone. It seemed from the direction they were facing or where trying to steal glances at that there was something just up ahead that had caught there attention. Closing the small distance between Raiden and herself, their bodies brushed against each other and Mai dearly wished she was tall enough to see what was going on.

Of course she needn’t have worried as by the time they had passed through most of the crowd, the both of them came across two people, a tall boy and a girl with long hair of similar coloring as her own. From the looks of it the girl looked vaguely familiar but once again Mai diverted her gaze in case she was spotted. The white haired girl (Cassiopeia) was apologizing to the boy who was with her as well as the crowd. It seemed the boy said something that got the rest of the crowd to disperse, a look of guilt or maybe shame on their faces. For whatever reason, the boy scared Mai. It may have been the way he stood by the girl protectively or the air of authority about him. Swallowing a suddenly dry throat Mai stepped slightly behind her cousin.

The white haired girl turned around, her eyes wide with disbelief upon seeing the both of them. Mai’s grip on Raiden’s hand loosened until she had let it go entirely. Before her stood the very person she could have sworn was but a dream but it didn’t matter what she thought for it soon became apparent that this certainly was not a dream. “It's really you!” Mai could only nod in her now dull state of shock. “I'm so happy to see you two!” Suddenly the back of her eyes began to prickle with tears, I’m happy to see you too, she thought to herself. Mai quickly wiped at her eyes so as not to show her tears but she needn’t try when Cassiopeia suddenly embraced the both of them. At that point, physical contact was already filled to the max and so when Cassiopeia finally released her it took all of Mai’s willpower to not drop at the feel of being hugged in such a way. Not even her family was able to get a hug out of her without Mai trembling at their touch. The only person she managed to have physical contact with without getting scared was Raiden as was apparent with the many times she had reached for his hand.

The look on Mai’s face was still one of shock, her face was a beet-red and she held the hem of her shirt to hide her trembling arms. Mai looked at the floor but took a chance to look up at the word friend. For a moment Mai was confused as to who Cassiopeia had been talking about and then she realized that the friends she had been talking of were Raiden and her. “Oh” her lips forming a small O before turning into a shy smile. As Cassiopeia continued to speak Mai wondered if they really did help her in a pinch, Is she saying that what I dreamed about was real. No it can’t be, that’s impossible. This Aeon person seemed nice enough but he was still rather intimidating to Mai. Aeon didn’t seem too pleased about hearing how Raiden and her had helped Cassiopeia but then he finally spoke, “Thank you for aiding, Cassiopeia.” Taking a small step back, Mai gathered her courage and looked up at Aeon. “U-um N-no pro-ob-blem. I-I’m gla-d I was of g-good use.” she managed to squeak out.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Mai was happy that she managed to speak before the both of them, especially Aeon. “Um-uh w-we ha-ave to go no-ow, bye-bye” whether Raiden had initiated their leave or not it mattered not. Once the both of them were off school grounds sniffling sounds could be heard coming from Mai. Looking up at her cousin, huge tears fell down her cheeks but it was easy to tell that they weren’t ones of fear or sadness but the small prideful smile on her lips said it all.

Raiden barely, if at all, reacted to the announcement regarding a deceased student of the school. It's not like they were eaten alive by zombies.. they would have fated worse off in my nightmares. The bigger more personal news to him at the moment that required his most attention was having to attend the same school as little ms Hakushiro, Arietta. If he knew her, it wasn't going to be easy. He really did mean what he said about staying out of her way but, only if that was really possible. The two of them were in different grades thankfully, which meant different classes but there was also the senior-junior program. Raiden could only pray he was not assigned her. He also had a feeling they moved schools for similar reasons, except he had no say in the matter after being tossed out by the principal who had had enough of him. He furrowed his eyebrows starting to wonder if he was over-thinking the situation. Maybe all of that crap could be left behind in the past? Start anew here at Airdalen? Just maybe.

Snapping back to reality and the present, he realised his cousin had been holding onto his hand for quite some time since they left the office. It made him feel like an older brother despite having no siblings. Raiden also wasn’t sure if he was suited for such a role as he wasn’t exactly an ideal role model having been kicked out of schools and being involved in numerous delinquent antics. Yes, the more he thought about it, it sounded ridiculous of him to be capable of looking after anyone. However, his cousin Mai had a very dependent trait and he was the only one she could really turn to in the meantime. He wondered how the little one could even trust him if she was aware of what he was up to in his spare time or maybe it was just because of blood relation?

Raiden was forced to shrug off his concerns as a female voice called out to them. “Mai? Raiden?” Raiden turned towards the source disinterested as he didn’t know anyone in the school besides Mai next to him and Arietta yet he stood corrected as his eyes adjusted onto the familiar looking girl (Cassiopeia). “It's really you!” “I'm so happy to see you two!” Raiden reacted too late as him and his cousin were forcibly embraced. This isn’t real. He denied himself the confusion and kept a neutral expression. “Aeon, this is Raiden and this is Mai. They're my friends!” Raiden laughed sarcastically. This isn’t funny. “They helped me when I was in a pinch!” The girl (Cassiopeia) continued speaking with such enthusiasm and even mentioned being helped when she was in a ‘pinch’ as if his nightmare had actually happened that Raiden felt insane. It was a nightmare.. I woke up in a chair. He tried to get his facts straight in his head. Maybe he had helped her out with something else besides an incident during a zombie apocalypse? Lent her a pencil maybe? No wait.. he hadn’t even had his first class at the school yet. The male he was introduced to named Aeon, a companion of sorts of Cassiopeia provided she had the same name from the nightmare, spoke formally. “Thank you for aiding, Cassiopeia.” Raiden facepalmed, still unsure of what he had actually helped with if not the zombie incident. “It was nothing.” Really, nothing.
“U-um N-no pro-ob-blem. I-I’m gla-d I was of g-good use.”
His cousin Mai seemed just as startled, then again his cousin was –always- talking that way so he wasn’t sure. “Um-uh w-we ha-ave to go no-ow, bye-bye” His cousin pitched in and Raiden was grateful for it. “Cassie, Aeon.” Raiden acknowledged their meeting and waved a quick bye before turning away with Mai to walk out of the school. Leaving was a pretty good idea before it got too overwhelmingly awkward. When they had exited the school grounds, Raiden put his hands on his knees and started breathing heavily as if he had run a marathon but he was just trying to piece his logical mind together. “That was weird, have we met them before?” As he stood back up straight, he looked down to see Mai crying but it wasn’t tears of sadness. It left him even more confused. “Mai..” he bent down and wiped her tears carefully with a single finger. He had a lot of questions to ask her like if she had the same nightmare but until they were home, he decided he would not mention it. “Let’s go back home and.. yeah.” He scratched the back of his neck while looking up at the sky. The sun was setting. He took her small hand in his and started walking towards home in peaceful silence.

Mai

Through her tears she could see that Raiden was bent over as if he was trying to carch his breathe, but it seemed she finally was able to guess his reaction. “That was weird, have we met them before?” Thinking about it the small girl realized it was rather weird but she didn't care. Mai was just happy to know that Cassiopeia was still okay. After that nightmare somewhere inside assumed that her newfound friend hated her since she died protecting her. So in response Mai merely shook her head, doing her best to keep her sobbing to the minimal. I finally initiated something. Smiling again, it was a small achievement to some people but for Mai it was the first step in her attempt to open up. To be less dependent on Raiden if you would.

Hearing her name called Mai returned her attention back to Raiden who seemed confused by her tears. With a single finger he wiped them away and she could help but let out a hiccuping giggle escape her lips. “Let’s go back home and.. yeah.” Mai was glad they were finally going home and that Raiden was going to lead them. She doubted she'd be able to take them back to the apartment in one piece. If Raiden hadn't already caught on or rather remembered, as kids Mai had a poor sense of direction and often got lost as a kid. However back then she'd just laugh it off and now if she got lost she knows for a fact that she'd cry.

A warm strong hand broke her remenicing thoughts. Looking to her hand Mai seemed to stare at Raiden's holding her small hand. It actually surprised her since he never really initiated hand holding without her soing it first. A soft smile on her lips, Mai gazed up at Raiden most of her tears had stopped although she was still sniffling. Mai shifted her hand in his grip so that it wasn't too uncomfortable for her nor Raiden. The small girl was happy with the silence. It meant she didn't have to talk and break this serene moment with her shaky speech. So in silence they walked until they finally reached their home destination. At that point as they ascended the stairs, Mai let go of Raiden's hand so that he could focus on using the key to their apartment.

It seemed the jiggle of the keys in the lock alerted a certain creature that had been waiting inside. As the door opened, Mai slipped past Raiden surprisingly quick and let out a happy gasp as she squatted to give Raiden's dog a belly rub. Mai genuinly looked happy while she focused her attention on the dog. Smiling Mai looked over to where Raiden went and wondered if he was going to shower before they ate. Even though it had just been a nightmare Mai felt rather dirty and she wouldn't mind taking a bath at the moment.

"Uh-Um I c-can c-cook so-omething for us t-to eat, if yo-ou'd like?" Whenever she was alone Mai didn't stammer as much but even in the presence of family she still couldn't stop it. Cooling was one of the few things she knows she can do without messing up or anything. Whether Raiden wanted to eat a real meal or to just skip dinner was up to him. Already Mai was heading to the small kitchen they had and began to search for a few ingrediants for a very simple dinner.

ImageCassie smiled happily and seemed unaware that Raiden was taken aback by her outright expression and cheerful demeanor. It was also the same with the younger white haired girl. There was also the fact that she was oblivious that her dream was not reality or maybe, she was mixing it up. It was really an awkward situation but she was either ignoring it or simply too happy to meet the two people she had a degree of attachment to in her so-called nightmare. Anyway, she was exuding such brightness even when the two bid their goodbyes to her. “Bye Bye! See you soon, Mai! Raiden!.” She called out to the two with her brilliant smile while waving her hand energitically. She can't believe that those two were attending this school too.

“Aeon, I have new friends!” She turned around and looked at him excitedly. Her smile was full of happiness. It was not every day she meets new people and be friends with them. (even if it was self-declared) Most of her life, she was locked inside the mansion in Greece and only interacted with her family and servants.

She was happy and appreciated the love and care her family and servants give her. Still, she yearned for the outside world, to learn new things, to experience it all. It was more precious to her even more when her life had always been stated will end earlier than others because of an illness eating bits and pieces of her life every minute. That is why she could not help but be very happy doing normal things like attending school (even if it's in another country), being with her fiancé (even if it's an arrangement), meeting new people and making them her as friends. All of these memories, she wants to have them all and cherish them with every emotions she could muster. That's why in the end she could proudly declare, she lived a full life without regrets.

“Uhm, Aeon... Can we stop by at a flower shop?” Cassie changed the topic. Her tone was expecting and a bit pleading. She knew that Aeon would rather want for them to go straight home, but, she wanted to buy some flowers and she had heard from a few people around the campus, a great place to buy them. The flowers would be her tribute to Varthur while the others will be for her personal liking. Plus, it was not every day that she could walk around town unrestricted or even do such things back at Greece. “Can we?” This time, her bright crimson eyes were showcasing her desire to go making her wear that infamous puppy dog eyes look. “I'm feeling fine! So, you don't need to worry!” She declared knowing that Aeon might be worried about her earlier fainting spell.

“I'll also inform Hotaru... and it will be fine if you're with me.... but...” She placed her fingers in front of her and began playing with them nervously. She forgotten one thing. “If you have something else to do... I know you're busy and all... So...” Aeon was a busy man especially being as wonderful as he is in every thing he does. Still, she was hoping that he would accompany her because it would mean everything to her. Yes, it will mean very much to her. She nervously looked at him and waited for his response.

"Resisting has never been a problem, until now...."

The two newcomers bid their leave. Raiden, the male seemed hesitant, as for the little girl, Mai, she was timid to a fault. Aeon kept them in his line of sight until they were out. He would have to inform Hotaru about them. At that point, he will let Cassiopeia's personal assistant handle it. If they are her friends, it would be nothing more the normal background check. For his part, it was fine as long as they do not take advantage of the situation or what ever "pinch" they helped her with. It was then his trail of thought was stopped when she turned her attention back to him. She was happy with having new friends. In the end, that is all that matters. She was strong in that regard, taking everything in a positive face value.

Aeon gave a curt nod at that statement of hers. “Let us go home.” After saying that, he turned his back at her, leading the way towards the exit. He would drop Cassiopeia at her home before returning to his. However, she called his attention with that wavering tone. He had known her well enough to assume she was going to ask something of him. Looking over his shoulder, his eyes of indigo were filled with its usual eerie coldness. Then, she spoke her request. She wanted to go to a flower shop. Silence was his response. He was thinking about the cons of that outing. In addition, he does have business matters which should be handled. After all, he had already wasted enough time going on that beach trip. More importantly, her health was the most concerning factor.

Cassiopeia prodded it even more and even declared that she was feeling fine. It was accompanied by what people would call as a "puppy dog eyes look" She began saying that she will inform Hotaru and that he has a choice whether to accompany her or not. She must really want to go. Oh, well... Aeon may look distant and stoic, however, he does have a heart which he only shows and uses for people he has use for or on a rare account, important to him. “I will accompany you.” With that said, he lead the way to the parking lot where his car would be. Yes, he drives his own and has a special driver's license for that. It was less hassle and all. Usually, it would be his butler, but the man was with his little brother. That's why it was rather peaceful nowadays. However, he had been informed that his butler and brother would be returning tomorrow.

Anyway, Aeon would deal with that some other time. Right now, he would be escorting Cassiopeia to the flower shop she wants to go to. Although, he has an idea where it would be. He had heard from the buzzing of people around him considered as talks, it was located at Eden Drive. “Where is this flower shop?” He queried to her once they were inside the car.

Bishop Trander

Bishop smiled to Keiko as as he talked introducing her to his supposed relative Daniel. The other blonde seemed ore into the conversation with his...... Bodyguard? That's what he would assume right now anyways. They talked about the incident Varthur which brought his mood back down again. He was trying to remain cheery but times rsther difficult, he was the type of person that didn't wish death upon anybody. Bishop was a rather peaceful kid. He slowly stepped outside a faltering smile across his lips, but was distracted when suddenly Keiko grabbed a hold,of his arm. "Come on, food awaits!"

Bishop blinked and smiled naturally again being dragged by Keiko to catch up with Daniel and his bodyguard. "Ok ok, I'm coming!" Bishop hurried finally catching up to follow wherever Daniel was leading them. He did have to speak with his parents about who this kid was in relation to him. As far as he knew, meh had no other cousins or anything so this was quite the surprise.

"So where all are we going? I need to text me parents, let them know il be late." He looked to Daniel curiously still letting Keiko cling to him. He founding kind of cute to be honest. Reminded him of having a little sister! which he kind of always wanted. He glanced to Keiko and smiled again at her, before giving his attention back to his fellow junior (Daniel). He had a lot to ask and talk to him about.

Devone hugged her knees close to her chest as she remained huddled with her back against the wall of one of the schools' hallways. By then, most of them had been cleared out with one or two of the odd remaining students including herself. Why do I feel.. like this? Her face was hidden by the long, delicate strands of her dark hair as she contemplated on her nightmare, actually feeling distraught and scared. That big hulking image of their Physical Ed teacher Mr. Drone was a laughing matter now that she was awake but what really scared her.. was how vulnerable, helpless and alone she was in that situation. "Miss Kim." Devone lifted her head to see that the person addressing her had been the one she called, "Atsushi". She said his name so softly that her driver/bodyguard froze in place for a minute wondering if he was hearing voices or imagining things but the expression on the girl's face matching her feeble tone told him otherwise. Atsushi looked both ways for signs of his mistress' peers before sighing and extending his hand towards her. At that display, Devone snickered and smacked his hand away, helping herself up. "Oh please, I didn't call you for a hand out--" As she was dusting off, her words were cut off as strong arms pulled her closer and embraced her. "You don't have to pretend with me." Atsushi whispered as Devone's eyes got watery. I don't want to cry! "Let me go!" Devone struggled against the man, her fists slamming against his chest but tears were already flowing down. "Let me go, damn you! I'M A KIM!" She yelled out her pride but hitting him grew tiresome as she gave in to weakness. "I'm a.. Kim.. I don't.. need.." she leaned forward and burrowed her head against his chest to cry some more as he patted her head. "I know" he said, letting Devone cry as much as she needed to for a moment's time.

Later on, Devone walked outside the school no longer hiding the darkened bruise to the side of her right eye that she had received from an unexpected fall. Her tears had all dried up and she looked as uncaring, immovable and heartless as she usually did whilst Atsushi trailed behind her until they reached the limousine. As he opened the door for her he had to ask, "So, what now Miss Kim?" Devone gave him a side glance before responding, "I'm parched, take me some place worth having a drink at as I make the necessary weekend appointments." As Devone sat inside and the door was closed after her, Atsushi smirked. "Yes, Miss.."

The drive had taken her to a high-class restaurant where drinks were absurdly about the same price as the meals. "Here's your order." A waiter stopped by her table to pour her a glass of champagne before asking, "By the way, is the young miss celebrating something?" Devone entwined her fingers together and leaned her chin ontop of them. "Not at all, I just felt like it." She smiled sweetly as the young waiter bowed and resumed work. She crossed her legs and reached a hand out for her glass, staring deeply into the liquid before taking a quick sip. Knowingly, the same waiter was rendered unconscious as soon as he had reached the kitchen by Atsushi for a 'business transaction' as he was the son of a backstabbing associate. With a smirk, she commented. "How delightful."

Despite starting off on bad foot, so to speak, with a new face, Jonathan picked up on the change of tone in Arietta's voice as she reintroduced herself. Taking her hand with a firm grip, Jonathan was observant enough to notice that her clothing were mostly designer-grade and stylish, that it wouldn't be difficult to assume that she was part of one ofthe upper echelons of society. After hearing the blonde state that she had changed classes as a junior, Jonathan let out a soft sigh of relief. He made a quick mental note on what she said, as it seemed a tad off from what would be normal, but he passed the thought off since he was new to the school, and he didn't exactly know what would be considered "normal."

However, even with the introductions, it would have become a slightly awkward moment of silence between them as there was a lack of conversational material that he could hook onto for a transtion to keep a good conversation flowing... until a certain blue-haired boy crashed in to save the day to make an inappropriate statement about the two.

Jonathan caught onto Kaoru's verbal jab, who had appeared out of nowhere, which had earned a slight indication of disapproval from both Jonathan and Arietta as the shorter male nudged him in the side after making the remark.

When Kaoru made a slightly nervous transition from the blunt comments (and flirtatious compliments) about Arietta's appearance to an invitation to hang out with "some girls," Jonathan's interest peaked a little. "Well, since anything should be better than being stuck in the tower all the time, I was going to check out the local malls and arcade. Does that sound like an idea that you can run with...?"

Or did you have plans on telling everybody how you have a thing for blondes?

Inside, his mind urged to jab back at the blue-haired kid for that verbal tease he made a few minutes ago, yet he held back his tongue. He might have to get him back for it though, but he set that wild thought aside when Kaoru had quickly and playfully invited the blonde haired student as well, with another nudge to Jonathan's side. "Well, you could also invite Momo and ask if she's interested in joining us," he added onto the invitation, as he didn't exactly know how many "girls" his friend had invited and it would've become quite a boring outing if they were the only ones.

With the idea of hanging out for the weekend being the current topic for the moment, Jonathan realized that it could be quite difficult to coordinate the event if none of them had each other's contact information. "Well, do either of you have a phone on you-?" With a slight effort of trying not to make it awkward for either of them, Jonathan nonchalantly asked, as it would be much easier and more efficient for him to just add his number to their phones rather than retrieving and copying his contact information on paper, however their new acquaintance had already suggested at making a network request before quickly taking off, leaving a somewhat awkward silence in their midst.

"Well, I guess that takes care of that."

ImageCassie was so happy. Aeon was going to accompany her. Things were really looking up in more ways than one. She has new friends and her request granted. It was feeling more and more like a normal life. It must be off in many ways but this was the best it was going to get for her right now and she was not picky at all. She followed Aeon to the parking lot and the got in the car. She was slightly envious of that about him. He is able to do the things he wanted without question, but that would be presumptuous of her. Why? Because, she was certain if there was an alternative he wouldn't allow himself to be tied with her.

She was taken from her inner thoughts when Aeon asked her where was the flower shop. She had a thoughtful look for a moment trying to recall. She closed her eyes as she dig deep in her memories and soon, she found it. “It's Paradiso at Eden Drive!” She said happily with a bright proud smile. She finally remembered it.

It was not long before they left Airdalen as she busied herself looking at the scenery they were passing by through the window. Then, she took out her phone as she had told Aeon that she will be contacting Hotaru. A promise is a promise as she made the call. It didn't took long as Hotaru immediately answered. Her ever loyal and dependable servant spoke out concern with what happened recently at school and her health. “I know... But, I'm fine and Aeon is with me! ” There was a sound resistance at the other end of the line but, she was persistent. “I promise, I'm fine. I just want to spend more time with my fiancé...” That was the closing deal and it was approved. She soon ended the call and released a sigh of relief. Really, Hotaru was more worried about her than her parents are.

She cast a glance at Aeon who probably heard all that conversation and her declaration of wanting to spend time with him. That was part of the truth she wanted to go to the flower shop. “Hey Aeon... You still remember our deal, right?” She asked with her usual airy hymn but one could hear a slight undertone to it. That was the foundation of their relationship and it will be until the time comes. Whether he answered or not, Cassie's attention was taken by the sign entitled Paradiso. They were finally there and she was in amazement. “There's a lot of people! The flowers must be really beautiful!” She said with excitement and could not wait to get out the car and go buy her flowers.

Once, they were parked. Cassie did not waste time and hurried herself to the flower shop. She resembles a child entering the to store with those fascinated crimson eyes of hers. But upon closer inspection, she finally found the true reason why there were tons of people, mostly girls of all ages. “Huh?” She tilted her head and saw the crowd was around a certain employee of the flower shop from the looks of it. He (Ryou) was wearing the uniform and employee ID. She would admit it, he was really handsome and cool-looking. She had never seen someone who could be in caliber with Aeon until now. Anyway, because, she was in her curious trance, some of the girls bumped into her as she lost her balance and was about to fall. “Eh? Eh!?”

"Am I a magnet or something? How annoying..."

The usual irritating banter was here again. Ryou will never understand the thoughts entering a female's mind. What was so amazing and worthwhile watching him work here at the Paradiso Flower Shop? It also gets in the way of business as they only gather around him, throwing questions which he would never answer and never buy anything. He had told them to go away and not waste his time with their foolishness. He also has dislike about crowds. Apparently, the intended effect backfired. The girls had gotten more attached to him. In the end, he did what he does best during such moments and that was to ignore and do his work as much as possible. It was a good thing the owner still keeps him around.

There were only a few hours left in his shift. He just has to be patient until then. After work, he would visit her and tell what happened to his day. It has been a daily ritual ever since and he will not miss it. So, patience, just have patience. It has now become a mantra to him. His fellow employees would help alleviate the crowd but it causes more harm than good. It was appreciated but, he didn't want them to be hurt in the process where a few scuffles had already happened in the past. He was restocking the flowers within his personal bubble while recalling the conversation he had with Hikaru earlier. It seemed there was a class trip and since their Uncle and Aunt could not come, it falls to him. He doesn't mind doing anything for his little brother so, he asked the boss an earlier day off to accommodate the said trip. It was granted.

That was the line of his thoughts when he was distracted by the sound of some the display racks falling. He looked behind him and found someone (Cassiopeia) about to kiss the ground. By instinct, he held out his hands and placed them on the shoulders to steady and the victim instead met his chest. The event irritated him as he looked at the crowd with glaring eyes. Their over zealousness knows no bounds. "Get out." His tone was flatly cold as the crowd was silenced. He then looked at the person (Cassiopeia) he was holding. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked and finally had a good look. It was girl and the kind that will stand out. She had long flowing white hair like the snow and eyes like rubies. She was unique in a way not because she was different in a bad way. She was very beautiful and judging by her frame slightly pressing on his. She was slender and fragile-appearing.

Anyway, back on the topic, Ryou took a grip of himself and fortunately, he has a bit of that poker face. It would be embarrassing to be caught in such a moment. "It's not safe here. If you don't have anything to do here, you should go." He stated and that was when the silence his earlier display of anger was broken. There were another round of hushed shrieks and murmurs of admiration. That was when he looked away from the girl in his arms and then towards the source of the noise.

"There is always a first time for everything."

Image
Usually, the feeling of subtle irritation would be forming right about now. Aeon has a dislike for not being answered immediately. But for a selected few which includes Cassiopeia, he would not mind making certain allowances. So instead, he watched the Argyris Princess remember the flower shop she wants to go to so enthusiastically. Well, it was interesting watching her expression as she tries to recall. It was like watching a puppy. Of course, this minute moment of appeal did not leak out of his stoic mask.

Soon enough, Cassiopeia had finally remembered. It was a shop named Paradiso and he was also right on the assumption it was the one on Eden Drive. However, Aeon has a rather different interpretation for its popularity. it was due to the ones gossiping about it were all girls giggling as if they found a new toy of sorts. Well regardless, he had told the white-haired girl beside him that he will accompany her and that is only to be expected from him who is her fiancé. In any case, he started the car.

Once, they were on the move. The Argyris Princess made a phone call to Hotaru. Aeon was certain that the overprotected servant would be against this particular trip especially with the incident at Airdalen. He could hear snippets from the other line who was objecting, but Cassiopeia was not going to back down. Then, it was stated she wanted to spend more time with him. It was a given and knowing the girl has no bone of deception in her body. He found that endearing to the point of unavailability. He knew that she was feeling embarrassed about it, so he didn't say anything or averted his eyes from the road.

Then, the question was asked. The arrangement they had come to terms with before accepting this relationship they are in right now. He has not forgotten.

“I do, always.” That was Aeon's simple answer. He would have never entered this engagement business if it weren't for that deal. Ending that thought, they had finally arrived at the said flower shop and that effectively switched Cassiopeia's attention. He could really tell that she was excited. Well, he would not keep her waiting for too long then. Finding a free spot, he parked the car and was about to tell her to wait until he opened the doors. However, she was like an exuberant child which reminded him of his brother. She stepped out and went ahead towards the shop where there was a large crowd. It was like there was some kind of celebrity or something along those lines.

Once everything was settled with the car, Aeon followed Cassiopeia to the store where his earlier conclusions were right. This was popular because of that toy (Ryou) and that toy (Ryou) was holding someone of his responsibility. He could already hear the onlooking crowd composed mainly of females gazing at his profile. They were already discussing facts about his presence and appearance which he could not care about less. Right now, he was concerned about the white-haired maiden being held by the taller male (Ryou). Those mauve eyes of his met the man's (Ryou) gaze. It held a glint of warning but, that stoic face of his never faltered.

“Cassiopeia.” Aeon started as he walked towards them. “Come.” That is all he said as he took her hand and dragged her out of the man's (Ryou) arms. Now, she was in his arms and his gesture was much like protecting her from something he considers as a threat. The onlookers seemed fascinated by the scene as it was very rare to see three very beautiful people all together like this. “We are here to buy flowers.” He stated in his usual neutral tone, but to a trained ear, it was clear there was distaste in there, probably directed to the man (Ryou). It also seemed to imply that he had heard his (Ryou) words in relation of not having business here.

ImageCassie braced herself for the impact and she could already hear the scoldings she would receive from Hotaru. She would also feel rather depressed causing Aeon another trouble. She should have been more careful and paid attention to her surroundings. But, there was no pain. Instead, there was something warm pressing on her face. She opened her eyes which she had closed by instinct and saw a rather imposing and sturdy... chest?

“Eh?” She managed to say in confusion as she raised her head and finally noticed that the man (Ryou) she was looking at earlier was now holding her securely. He (Ryou) was looking at the crowd around them with anger and even declared for them to get out. She felt sorry for them being spoken like that. Then, he looked at her. Their eyes met and she found his eyes very beautiful. It was like looking at the moon. “So pretty...” She murmured as he asked if she was fine.

She blinked her eyes and then smiled warmly. “Yes, I'm fine! Thank you.” Just like that, he (Ryou) continued on saying that she should go if she has no business here, saying that it was not safe here. She wondered how it could not be. This is a flower shop, right? Then, there was another series of shrieks and shouts. She has an idea who they were clamoring about. Then, she heard her name. She looked over her shoulder and saw Aeon approaching her. “Aeon!” She stated with a bright smile. It was because she was right on thinking about that. He then took her hand and pulled her over to his side, precisely to his arms. Somehow, she feels like a stuffed toy in the arms of a very possessive owner. Well, she could be wrong, knowing Aeon's detachment. Then, he said that they were here to buy flowers. She remembered once more her purpose here and looked towards the other guy (Ryou).

“Ah yes, I want to look for some flowers!” She didn't pushed away Aeon's protective embrace. “Will you help us? My name is Cassiopeia by the way.” She said happily and then looked towards Aeon. “This is Aeon. Nice to meet you!” She turned back at him and reached out a hand of hers as for a friendly handshake while still being held by Aeon as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

By the time Arietta made it outside, the sun was almost completely out of sight. She knew she should have went home, but she was growing hungry and she really didn't want to walk all the way to her house. Maybe I should have accepted a driver after all.. it's kind of getting dark.. She left the grounds, looking up restaurants on her iPhone. She found an acceptable place, leaving the school grounds on foot.

She passed a few girls from school on the street, causing her to frown. They were giggling, talking about their crushes and homework, typical teenage gossip. She wished she had friends, but even back at her old school... she only had one true friend. Though she did write online to a girl that lived near here, she never got the girl's name. She wasn't even sure if the girl would want to become her friend in real life. If anyone got to know the real me... they'd run away. No one likes a liar... I just can't stop though... Lies are so much more interesting than the truth...

She checked the map on her phone, sighing to herself. So pathetic, I don't even have anyone to come here with. She crossed the road before taking a right turn, and then the restaurant was in sight. She saw a couple walking out, holding hands and it made her flinch a bit. She remembered a time when she was that happy.. The pain of the memory was too much, so she shook her head quickly, dismissing it as fast as possible. It was all a lie. Just like everything else in my life.. I don't miss it.

She didn't notice, but she reach the front door somewhere in her thoughts. I really need to stop spacing out... Arietta thought with a smile, I might walk out in front of a car one of these days. With that, she opened the door, walking inside. It looked rather spacious, and the furniture was about as luxurious as that of her home. Well.. I didn't mean to pick something this extravagant.. but I'm already here. I guess I'll use Grandpa's card to cover the bill..

It was about that time that a man dressed in a black suit approached, clearing his throat, "Name please?"

"Hakushiro, Arietta." She replied blankly. The man's eyes widened a bit, apparently he was familiar with her Grandfather. Lucky me.. She thought sarcastically. He quickly bowed, and was about to show her to her table when she suddenly noticed a familiar face sitting at her own table.

"I'll be right back.." She added in the man's general direction, waving him off. She then slowly approached Devone, smiling a bit before speaking, "Hey." She waved a little nervously, "My Grandfather attended a business party your father was holding. Your name is Devone right? I'm Arietta Hakushiro. I go to your school now so I thought I'd say hello."

She stared at the table for a moment, before looking to the ebony haired female sitting in front of her, "Mind a bit of company?"

"A meeting, is it just coincidence?"

Ryou was not sure if it was a good thing or not. The one who cause a stir was a rather beautiful man (Aeon). He (Aeon) has a certain elegance to him which would make him perfectly fit for those Japanese theaters where the man plays the beautiful female lead. He (Aeon) is handsome and beautiful, no wonder the female crowd was abuzz and he was fine with someone and if possible to take all the attention away from him. It also seemed that the girl (Cassiopeia) in his arms was an acquaintance of hers. She (Cassiopeia) was very happy by the looks of it calling the man by the name Aeon. They must be together.

There was no hesitation when this Aeon guy grabbed the white-haired girl from him. It was not like he was going to hold on to her or something. He raised his hands up as if to surrender. He would not openly admit it though that he did like holding the girl (Cassiopeia). The guy (Aeon) also stated that they do have business here unlike the others. They were going to buy flowers. This was backed up by the girl who was rather excited about it. He could tell by her jubilant expression and those red eyes which should be scary but instead looked like glittering gems to him. But what truly caught his attention was the two still interlocked in an embrace. She (Cassiopeia) was not even pushing the guy (Aeon) away. Are they a couple?

His thoughts was stopped at that when the girl introduced herself as Cassiopeia. It was a rather complex yet beautiful name. The origin was probably a Greek mythology. Heading back at the topic, she also introduced the guy (Aeon) which he had already caught earlier. She (Cassiopeia) then reached out her hand for a handshake. He looked at her hand and then back to Cassiopeia. It was then he took notice of the uniform the girl or rather both of them wearing. It was from Airdalen High School. It seems he wouldn't be starting at that school without knowing anyone then. It is still not sure if they were classmates or would even have time to get to know each other more.

"Ryou" He stated as he held her (Cassiopeia) hand and did the handshake. He could already tell that she had soft hands that had never done any hard labor. It was fitting like that of a very well-bred and pampered girl, probably an upper echelon in society. It was a good thing that she doesn't appear haughty or have a superiority complex in a way. That is how he sees it at the moment. He could also tell that the Aeon guy was from the same ranking in society the way he carries himself. He has an idea they might not get along very well, judging by their subtle interaction. He released Cassiopeia's hand. "Sure, let me help you. What kind of flowers are you looking for?" He said while looking at another fellow employee to handle the rest.

"...Pleasure..."

She didn't seem too impressed by him, but it was always worth a shot to flirt with a pretty girl. All they could do is turn him down, which Kaoru was pretty much used to. Then he noticed the two of them were both uncomfortable about his teasing, causing him to laugh for a second, which earned him a glare from the blonde. His grin shrunk, and he cleared his throat. God, she's got an attitude problem and a half..

"Well, since anything should be better than being stuck in the tower all the time, I was going to check out the local malls and arcade. Does that sound like an idea that you can run with...?"

"Yeah, DDR and Pizza sounds perfect." Kaoru smiled to Jonathan, then Arietta. Not to mention he could show off playing other games as well. None of this would make a big deal about his height, which was a major plus in his opinion.

"Well, you could also invite Momo and ask if she's interested in joining us."

Kaoru's smile disappeared as Jonathan mentioned inviting Momo. Does he really think I hadn't thought of that already? A pout suddenly formed on the short azure haired boys lips. Though it didn't last long, he followed it up by sticking his tongue out at Jonathan, "I'm not that lame.. I already gave Sera my number before even asking you guys. If they're interested, they'll call." He shrugged his shoulders. He understood how odd it sounded, a boy giving a girl his number, but he technically was supposed to be home right now. Kyoko is going to kill me... He thought with a childish grin, though her wrath was nothing to laugh at. He'd be dodging dishes all night when he got home.

"Well, do either of you have a phone on you-?"

"Depends.. send me a Facebook request and link me the people who's coming. I'll consider it. See ya around guys.. maybe. I've got to run."

Before Jonathan said anything, the blonde (Arietta) left the scene mentioning she would think about joining them, and to send her Facebook requests.. Another pristine girl.. at least this one doesn't seem to have a stone cold heart. This school never ceases to amaze me.. Kaoru thought in amusement as he shamelessly watched their blonde acquaintance dash off, staring south of the equator. It wasn't until she was out of sight that his attention turned back to his red haired companion. He then dug his phone out of his pocket. It wasn't fancy, just a typical flip phone. It was blue, and had a star charm on it, which honestly made it look a little on the girly side, but not extremely so. (This is his phone)

"Here's my number.." He pulled up his info before handing it to Jonathan, finding it easier, and quicker to just give Jonathan his number. Kaoru had to make it home before Kyoko.. or she'd never let him hear the end of it about his chores. Sometimes she acted worse than a mom.

"Hey dude, what was that blonde girl's name again?" he asked with an innocent grin, since he'd completely forgotten to ask for her name while he was attempting to 'woo' her.

She started twiddling with her fork to the side of the table, her chin rested on the back of her other hand and eyes rolling at a fellow customer or two. She liked this restaurant, she really did but the people bored her. She glanced at the elegant antique clock hanging proudly across the room to check the time. By now, Atsushi was probably chucking the hostage in the other car for special occasions such as this. It would be a while before he came back to pick her up. While she was sadistic, Devone had to skip out on some events like this to keep a low profile and it wasn't much fun to kick around a waiter she barely knew. She preferred messing with people she knew on a more personal level; Akira being one of her favorites because the girl's unstable emotions would often lead to her falling for a lot of things.

"Hey." Devone's eyes drifted to the one addressing her to be presented with a familiar face she couldn't quite place. She removed her fingers from the fork she was toying with and resumed a friendly face and smile. "Well, hello." She tilted her head slightly before straightening her posture for a more formal look than the bored one she had a moment ago as the blonde girl approached her. "My Grandfather attended a business party your father was holding. Your name is Devone right? I'm Arietta Hakushiro. I go to your school now so I thought I'd say hello." "Ah, is that so?" Devone tried hard not to break off her smile as thoughts swirled through her head. Where are all these connections dropping in from? First, the obsessive couple and now this girl? To think, I used to be the most high-class student in Airdalen.. I don't know if I can stand being outshone."Mind a bit of company?" "Not at all, not at all." Devone gestured to a seat at her table with a welcoming aura. "I really didn't expect to bump into anyone here so forgive me if my surprise came off as rude?" She crossed her legs and lifted a glass slightly off the table, letting the liquid balance from side to side as she talked. "So, you'll be attending at Airdalen you said? Congratulations!" she said before bringing the glass to her lips and taking a polite sip of her champagne. "It's quite a hard school to get into, so what made you select our high school?" Devone lowered her glass and leaned forward a tad, feigning interest. While she would much prefer talking to someone while waiting than being on her lonesome, small talk just wasn't quite her drug. If only we could cut to the chase and the fun stuff.. like the secrets, the lies, the threats and gossip that ruin lives...

"Of course" Raiden mumbled under his breath as the door opened and caused his dog Shoo to become overexcited. That was one of the perks of his cousin, Mai moving in. He was no longer the dog's target as it had taken quite a liking to her and her to it. He hooked up the keys to its special spot by the door before leaning against the wall deep in thought with his arms folded. It was going to be night time soon so he was planning how to make the most of his time. Well, I should check if I have any tutoring to do over the weekend, band rehearsals unless they got cancelled again, forum duties--

"Uh-Um I c-can c-cook so-omething for us t-to eat, if yo-ou'd like?"

Raiden remained silent for a bit just to make sure he didn't lose track of his thoughts and responsibilities. Concluding he covered pretty much everything he had to do, he nodded to give her the a-ok as he took out his cellphone but the little one had already made her way for the kitchen. It felt like a lot of matters were weighing heavily on his mind and he wanted a break. First, that strange zombie apocalypse nightmare that followed with meeting the girl from his dreams; Cassiopeia in real life which didn't make sense, along with finding out Arietta was going to be at Airdalen which also was a weird coincidence, and how the parents may be visiting on the Sunday according to a text message he just checked. Fortunately, Raiden was average in cleanliness so cleaning up wasn't too big a concern and Mai would also pitch in most likely. Unfortunately, Raiden hated his father and that much was evident when the two were around each other.

"Is everything alright?" he called out to Mai not really worried, he just wanted to make sure before heading into his bedroom. As soon as he got in, he removed his shoes and turned his computer on out of habit. Often forum complaints or reports were sent to him to handle as he had been moderating for a long time and was one of the well trusted on the board, and today wasn't any different. "46.." he read the number in his inbox and leaned back in his seat staring up at the ceiling. So much work. Raiden wasn't per say complaining, being a forum moderator and leading a busy lifestyle was his own decision but it wasn't out of fun or being easily bored. He just had a tendency to think too much and too negatively about almost anything and being busy kept him away from such thoughts. It also served as a distraction from his Kleptomaniac tendencies, something he really wasn't proud of and wanted to get under control. He cracked his knuckles before typing a quick message to his fellow moderator and online friend, Luminescence. It read: 'Lumi, I got 46 reports. Beat that. :>' The girl was a new mod, so he highly doubted she'd have that many but that was how their conversations flowed anyway. He always did seem more upbeat and lively online.

After sorting out through 12 reports, he put his laptop on sleep mode and made his way for the kitchen quite hungry. "Mai, we all good for dinner?" he asked, his hand gripping the door frame as he poked his head in.

"Well, hello."

Arietta's smile grew a bit as Devone replied kindly enough. The blonde was used to a lot of rudeness from her financial peers, and seeing as Devone's family was notably better off than her own, she wasn't sure how Devone would receive her. She felt instantly relieved, even though there was still the possibility that Devone's kindness was simply a front for formality's sake, the kindness was appreciated either way.

"Ah, is that so?"

Arietta nervously nodded to the dark haired female, her blue eyes scanning her for a reaction. Arietta knew that Devone would be beneficial to her social standing at the school, but she was starting to regret approaching her so quickly in the game.. The feeling that overwhelmed her.. it was unreal. She felt like she was a tuna fish approaching a shark. She straightened out her clothes nervously. She just wanted friends.. popular friends, but still friends nonetheless. She wasn't very popular at her last school, so she decided she just wanted to fit in at this one.. whatever the cost.

"Not at all, not at all. I really didn't expect to bump into anyone here so forgive me if my surprise came off as rude?"

She took a seat slowly, tilting her head a bit as Devone mentioned coming across as rude. Her big blue eyes darting as she tried to go over their conversation in her head. I don't think she was necessarily rude.. Even if she had been, I understand.. It's a dog eat dog world in our level of society.. She took a moment to carefully think on her reply, "No, no.. Of course not. You handled the situation quite gracefully. To be honest, I hadn't initially planned to visit this restaurant. Although I had to come say hello when I noticed you in the crowd. It would have been rude not to, especially after your father gave my Grandfather invaluable advice on how to handle his company."

Her grandfather of course paid for the advice, but without it, their family would have gone bankrupt. Her Grandfather wasn't always the man he was today. He started out kindhearted and was a wonderful man to be around. Though many abused his kindness. Though she was grateful her Grandfather's company survived, she misses the man he used to be. His new iron fist attitude wasn't becoming, and it hindered her from making friends at her last school. He ran away so many of her 'sketchy' friends as he put it, most of her class didn't bother with her. She shook the thought, ordering herself a drink as a waitress came by.

"So, you'll be attending at Airdalen you said? Congratulations! It's quite a hard school to get into, so what made you select our high school?"

Arietta sighed a bit, seeing as this was the only question she wished to avoid, "Well.. I had an invaluable item stolen from me.. so I ruined the culprit's life with rumors at my last school." She explained, taking a break from her explanation when the waitress returned with her drink. She took a sip before continuing her story, this time leaning in with a mischievous smile. "I left shortly after, seeing as the thief never returned the item, even after I had the person of question removed from our previous school. The thief was revealed in front of the entire school. I left as well because my grandfather advised it."

Then came the lies. She'd thought she'd been doing so well.. She wasn't proud of ruining that boy's life. Nor was her exchange of schools her Grandfather's idea.. She left because it was too painful to return after losing the only person she thought to be a true friend to her. She'd been so truthful with the rest of her conversation.. but as soon as she was nervous it wasn't exciting enough.. BAM! The lies came along like a side of ranch.

Before Kei got a chance to reply to Akira, her phone started buzzing. She ignored it the first time, but the caller wouldn't give up. They'd called again, directly after the first. She recognized the ringtone, frowning to herself. Why is Kirito being so annoying right now? She answered the phone, an irritated look on her face, "This better be important, Kirito. I'm a little busy here.." She snapped at the boy on the phone. He proceeded with a lot of laughter, which only irritated her more. She let out an annoyed huff, about to end the call when he suddenly stopped his fit of laughter.

"No, wait! Don't hang up! This call could save your GPA." He stated quickly. She could almost see his grin, even though she couldn't see the boy in person. Kirito was on the track team with her, and also in band. He was incredibly stupid, so she wasn't really sure how he could exactly keep her GPA high enough to save her extracurricular activities. She put a finger up, showing Kei she planned to take the call.

"Fine, I'm listening..." She walked away a few feet from Kei. She didn't want anyone to know she was struggling with her classes, so she kept her voice discreet as possible, "Just how do you plan to get my grades up?" she asked the boy skeptically. She was ready to hunt him down and kick his ass if this was some kind of joke. She was trying to have a serious heart to heart right now, after all. His phone call ruined the sincerity of the moment.. though she doubted a knucklehead like him cared anyway.

"Heh! There's this guy I know, he's really smart. I paid him, but now I don't even need the extra help. He won't do the work for you, but he'll keep your secret for the right price." The brunette snickered, thinking back on how he'd snatched her junior math test from her, thus being the only person to truly know how terrible her grades stood. That year they studied together and through some miracle barely passed. Sure Airdalen had higher standards on 'passing grades' than most schools, but their abilities were far below average. Akira wasn't even sure why Airdalen accepted her in the first place... She passed her entrance exams through some fluke, because if she would have actually tried, she surely would have gotten the very first 0% on their tests.. Academics weren't her strong suit, that much was for sure.

Akira thought on what he said for a moment, the reality of her situation hitting her rather hard. She'd agreed to study with Kumi and Varthur.. but Kumi switched schools and Varthur was dead.. She didn't really have an option if she wanted to keep her inability for school work on the down low, "Fine.. how can I contact him?" She asked with a defeated sigh.

Kirito snickered before replying, "I thought you'd never ask, I'll text you his number. Give him a call. Oh, and Akira, his name is Raiden." with that, the energetic boy hung up. She shook her head, but as promised a text popped up on her phone, Raiden's number highlighted in blue and underlined.

She looked to Kei, approaching him again, "Something's come up... we can do this another time. It's important.. I'll see you around though. I promise."

With that the girl ran off, only to bump into another student. The girl handed her a package with her name on it, and upon further inspection of the squishy bag, she realized it was her female Airdalen uniform. She nodded, apologizing for bumping into her. She wasn't familiar with the girl, but it still wasn't polite to leave without an apology. When she got out of the building, she finally made the call nervously. She waited until the boy picked up, before clearing her throat. This is a bad idea..

"Hi, my name is Akira, I go to Airdalen high school... my friend Kirito Ayanami gave me your number.. This is Raiden right?? He said you tutor students, and that for a price it could remain a secret? I was wondering how much it would cost... The tutoring itself and the price to keep it hush hush..."

She stood outside the gates of the school, leaning against them as she awaited his response. She looked around, making sure no one was eavesdropping on their conversation. She didn't want the entire school to know she was an idiot academically... She wasn't fairing so well in English or Mathematics.. Science had the answers right in front of her, so she did okay in that subject.. same as social studies... but she wasn't really good with second language or formulas.. they really confused her.

"Just any other day, that is what I like to say."

Many of their spectators felt that they were watching a film shooting or something of that sorts. After all, it was really rare to see in their own opinions, three beauties at one site along with the subtle sparks between the two men. It was at least very dramatic. However, this was not picked up or possibly ignored by the female among the trio. Cassiopeia was still usually upbeat and amiable about the situation. That was one of her strengths. It was to divert everything into a positive thing even if it really wasn't. As such, the brief tension was transformed into polite and friendly introductions take care of by her.

The man was named Ryou. However, Aeon could already see that from the name plate worn by the Flower Shop's employees. It seemed Ryou would be the one to assist them. He was not certain if that was a good thing or not. Currently, he has a feeling of being uncomfortable and that does not sit well with him. But... He looked at Cassiopeia who was very fervent in this request. He let her go and he meant that in a physical way since he was still embracing her. It would be a hindrance in her choosing the flowers she likes. Although, he was also not certain what prompted him to act like that. Well, it was of no consequence. They are bound of an agreement anyway. As for him, he trailed behind them while looking around him from time to time.

Flowers had the habit of reminding him of a funeral. It is why he does hold a dislike towards them. Adding to that, their beauty is momentary. Their fate will always wilt. However, he did not want to disappoint Cassiopeia who was really eager and likes such plants. After all, he has certain obligations he would need to act out as her fiancé. Yes, that was all there is to it. His thought ended at that when his phone rang. “Excuse me.” He stated to her before stepping away for a bit. He still has a line of sight of the two as he answered his phone. Judging from the number, it was an overseas call.

“Andrew.” Yes, he has a clear-cut idea who had called him and even the purpose. “Focus.” He said with an edge of underlying annoyance. Of course, nothing showed upon his stoic mask. It seemed Andrew had strayed away far from the point of discussion yet, again. “I see. I will be there.” He ended the call not waiting for Andrew to say his goodbyes. He knew well that it would be convoluted with exaggerated words of longing, care, and love. It was irritating but also be endearing at certain points of life. Of course, he would not admit that to Andrew ever.

Anyway, he would have tell Cassiopeia that he would not be able to accompany her during the weekends as she pleases. His little brother, Brinx will be coming home tomorrow and as it would also appear, his father as well. His presence is heavily summoned by the patriarch of the Shirokami Family. Aeon could already guess that something will be mandated to him which would add more to his current workload. However, he was not the kind to complain about responsibilities as long as it would allow Brinx more time to focus on being a child. There would also be a chance that his father would request for him to bring Cassiopeia for a visit. Arranging his thoughts, he went back to where Cassiopeia and the one called Ryou are. "Have you chosen.” The usual monotone question of his as he looked at the Argyris Princess.

Cassie had a brilliant smile on her face as she was now going to be assisted in buying the flowers. She really did not notice the odd tension between the one who introduced himself as Ryou and Aeon. In her opinion, there was nothing out of sort, even when Aeon had embraced her. She was guessing it has rather to do with being protective and in her time with him. Aeon does possess such a trait even if he doesn't show it openly or even admit it blatantly. She finds that adorable. In terms of Ryou, she rather liked him as she could tell from their handshake that he was a hardworking person. But, he was also gentle seeing as he works in a flower shop. Then again, she might be assuming too much with those obvious observations of hers.

Anyways, she followed Ryou once Aeon lets her go. Her eyes looked around with a happy glow. There were a lot of different flowers and she does feel that she was in a paradise. The name of the shop was fitting in every sense. “I would like some pink and red carnations.” She answered while taking interest on some beautiful red roses. The carnations will be given to Varthur at his internment. She had decided to go and Aeon was not stopping her at all. That was enough for her to push through it. “If they could be arranged in a basket, it would be a great help.” She added with a smile but there was a faint amount of sadness lingering in her tone. It made her wonder if it would be like--- Her thoughts were interrupted when Aeon excused himself for a bit.

She gave a cheerful nod and had a noticeable concern on her face. She was not ignorant of the responsibilities that Aeon was carrying as the First-born son of the Shirokami family. A lot is expected from him. She was also one of those who have expectations placed on him. Here she was dragging him for his time, even when he could have done more than just being with her. Unlike him, there was no burden of inheritance or anything like that. There was only one thing that is expected of her and it will happen soon enough. She released a soft sigh and focused herself at the task at hand which was buying flowers. “Uhm, Ryou could I also have a bunch of blue irises?” She asked with a tone similar that of an uncertain child.

Anyways, her shopping continued on that manner. She even took the liberty of asking various things about the flowers which took her interest. Ryou was nice and knowledgeable to give her multitudes of information even more about the flower language. She even asked for a certain flower that would show gratitude. He was really helpful and she was enjoying herself really. And soon, Aeon asked her if she had chosen. He seemed to be done with the phone call. She looked at him with a fulfilled smile. “Yup! All done!” She had already paid for it and everything had already been arranged. There were a lot of various flowers, hopefully it will fit in Aeon's car. She got a bit carried away. But, she can't help it. She really likes flowers. Suddenly, she had a look that she remembered something. “Here, for you.” She handed Aeon a single pink rose. It meant thank you.

Devone only smiled slightly while observing the Hakushiro girl. As their small talk went on, it was evident that she was nervous by social cues such as the way she fussed over her clothes and her manner of speaking was quite guarded. I suppose she's a small fry. I like small fries. They aren't as annoying as others' company I've had to endure because they know their place... Devone picked up her glass while waiting for a reply to find it was empty. Had she drunk too much for one night? Uncertain, she put aside the glass and brushed her skirt down before laying her hands there to rest neatly on her lap.

"No, no.. Of course not. You handled the situation quite gracefully. To be honest, I hadn't initially planned to visit this restaurant. Although I had to come say hello when I noticed you in the crowd. It would have been rude not to, especially after your father gave my Grandfather invaluable advice on how to handle his company."

Devone reflected on those words a bit before delivering her own reply with a classic Mona Lisa smile, "Ah, I see. Well, I'm glad you did dear. It is quite embarrassing for me to be sitting here drinking champagne on my lonesome." In all honesty, Devone wasn't embarrassed. She didn't care even if it was considered embarrassing in her circle. If she felt like drinking on her own, she'd do it. It'd probably be a waste to share such good stuff with pigeons anyway. The thought did hit her to offer some to her acquaintance, but if she was assuming correctly the girl was still a minor- not that she cared for rules. She just didn't want her lack of care to be any more blatant than it had to be. Plus, there was a chance said acquaintance had probably already ordered whatever it was she was after. Maybe she would just save the leftovers for Atsushi. How generous of me.

Noting Arietta's sigh, Devone's attention returned to her.
"Well.. I had an invaluable item stolen from me.. so I ruined the culprit's life with rumors at my last school."

It made Devone almost squeal. Straight-forward and unguarded, this was too good an opportunity to abuse. Despite the girl appearing guarded at their initial introductions, such a mindless question about school taste had lead to this interesting turn of topic. She did wonder why Arietta would put it out in the open in front of her though, about starting the rumors that is. Did the small fry assume people in her class were the type into that sort of gossip and corruption, or did she know more about Devone in general than she was letting on? Otherwise, was she just being honest and aware that Devone could find out one way or another in the end anyway? Devone tried her best to not over think the possibilities. There were too many. Hopefully, all would be revealed soon enough.

Arietta changed expression to match the mood of the tale, "I left shortly after, seeing as the thief never returned the item, even after I had the person of question removed from our previous school. The thief was revealed in front of the entire school. I left as well because my grandfather advised it."

She appeared quite proud of what she had accomplished. It had been a while since Devone had encountered someone like her. Maybe they did have something in common, more so than she did with others anyway. So she's -that- type of person. This may work in my favor. She's probably expecting something out of me more so if I'm not mistaken. Please to use and abuse... Rumors. It was a small thing compared to all the endeavors Devone had pulled off and gotten away with. Hell, she had a hostage in some abandoned factory 'somewhere'. The details didn't really matter. The nitty-gritty regarding physical labor and torture was Atsushi's job. She just moved the chess pieces and directed the stage.

"I'm sorry to hear that. I've never been stolen from so I can't relate personally but it must have been dreadful. Especially as an.. invaluable item you say? Maybe a family heirloom? That's awful. I'm glad the thief responsible is paying his dues. Well done on turning him in." Devone attempted to sympathize before revealing a personality card of her own. "After all, we don't need trash like that in our society. The less of them the better." Her lips formed a more fitting expression, a defined but somewhat dignified smirk. She had meant the sentence to sound as harsh as it was. And now, your turn.

Mai

Looking back over her shoulder, she saw the nod of okay. With a small smile and a slight spring in her step she set to work on making their dinner. For once Mai moved about with confidence in her stride. The small girl loved to cook and it was one of the few things she was good at, so that would undoubtedly explain her behavior as she cooked.

Stepping into the kitchen Mai opened the cabinets and realized she'd need a stool to reach some of the things at the top shelf. "Oh no" It took her a few minutes to find the stool she knew Raiden had but finally she found it. Placing it under in front of the cabinet Mai reached for some of the curry packets she had gotten the other day.

Taking them down she pulled out a frying pan, some vegetables and a small packet of meat. Washing the vegetables and the meat she pulled the stool over to where the stove was and started to cut up the food and placing then in frying pan. Suddenly a voice called out making her jump, realizing it was just Raiden worrying over her well being a small smile formed. Pausing she turned away from the stove, "Ah al-alls g-good!" The moment those words came out Mai began to blush furiously. It was the first time in a while she had ever spoken so loud. Lowering her hand from her mouth Mai went back to cooking.

After some time passed the food was just about ready. The aroma of the food was beginning to fill the apartment. It reminded her of home, but that isn't home anymore. Home is here with Raiden. Another blush speckled her cheeks at how the thought sounded. Almost like we're a couple Her hands went to her cheeks feeling how hot they were. "Mai, we all good for dinner?" Hearing his voice made her jump, "Wah!"

Shaking just the slightest Mai's shoulders came up in surprise. Looking over her shoulder at her cousin the poor girl almost looked feverish. "It's done, um ah ju-just s-sit d-own." wave a utensil to the dinning they. The sounds of her moving the stool around could be heard in the other room as she took down the necessary plates and utensils for their dinner. Getting their servings Mai carried the servings to the dinner table still wearing the apron she found. Setting them down on Mai sat down and glanced over at her cousin as she ate. "D-do you li-like the foo-od?"
