Introduction
Imagine what it would be like in a world where all that was expected of you was to fall in love and get marries. That was the only goal people would set up for you. Imagine waking up, and instead of your parents telling you to have a good day, they said find your soul mate? And it was also expected you marry at the age of 15! The longer you waited, the lower the opinion had of you. Some parent's would even shun their children if they waited too long.
Besides these odd customs, there were still jobs, schools, theaters, restaurants, and all things of that sort. But all movies had some sort of romance, the most chosen job was as a match-maker, and even schools were based around learning about married life and love, etc. That was daily life.

Violet woke up to her alarm; though why she set it she didn't know. She just liked to start the day early, she supposed. She turned the alarm off and immediately jumped out of bed; and changed into her polo, tie, skirt and sandals. She decided it was too hot for socks. She quickly brushed her hair and ran downstairs to get breakfast.
Somehow her sister always managed to get up earlier than her; and was already at the table eating heart shaped pancakes. "Good morning! Mom went to work." she said simply, handing Violet her pancakes. Violet nodded, and started to eat, just as her sister was finishing. "I'm going to Carsons." She said, walking out. Violet shook her head. She felt she barely saw her mother or sister; they were always out and about. She still didn't know what she was going to do today. Maybe go to school? A movie? She pondered this as she ate slowly while watching TV.

Melody found herself waking up at an oddly early hour and not hungry in the least bit. "Strange," she said to herself as she removed herself from her bed and got ready for the day. As she walked through the living room to leave out the door, she noticed her parents sitting in the living room, and of course, the ignores her like she didn't even exist. She sighed to herself and walked out of the house and headed down to the Sweets Shop, she wanted candy, as usual. Her sweet tooth took over most of her life, though she could eat as much as she wanted and not gain at all. When she stepped into the Sweets Shop she started looking through all the candy, trying to decide what exactly she wanted.

Lucifi was bored. This was the only job that paid well per commission, so he did it. The sweets shop had a lot of children going in and out of the store, making lots of revenue. Right now, money was the one thing that he needed. Today was like any other day working in the sweets shop, little kids going in and going out. This time, a teenage girl walked in. She was browsing some candy. Since she actually had logic, he might as well persuade her to buy a lot of candy. "All of those candy over there are on sale and delicious." He said, pointing over a random spot in the shop. Whichever one it was, he was going to take several dollars off to make it seem like it is on sale. He always did that to make money, trick somebody into buying lots of stuff, and then getting more commission. Once he had enough money, he was definitely getting out of here. He thought about quitting in a few months. Hopefully he will. He thought about what he would do once he was free from the boring 3 days a week job. It was 3 days a week, but it was the most boring.

The Ferrari Daytona pulled up outside the sweet shop gently. No squealing of breaks for him. He opened the door, swung one booted foot out, and paused to light a cigarette. He wore designer jeans, a black leather jacket, a t-shirt that probably cost as much as the shop. Amused, he studied the advertisements in the window. Nearly every single one seemed to be a personal ad, people wanting to meet someone, "view to marriage".
"This whole place is obsessed with meeting someone, hooking up," he mused. "None of that cr*p for me."
He remembered waking up that morning in yet another strange bed. He'd done the deal, and since it had been late, had been offered a place to sleep. A flophouse, with peeling plaster on the walls, a threadbare carpet. His car had seemed like a luxury hotel, afterward. He'd declined the offered breakfast - greasy looking hash browns and congealed eggs served on a chipped plate - and was now regretting it as hunger pangs gnawed.
His craving for something sweet and satisfying took him through the doorway. He looked around, at the various wares on display. The toffees, candy-canes. Chocolate. Aniseed balls. Even dark coffee-liqueur chocolates, for which he had an almost scary weakness. He noticed the people, too - the bored, but good-looking (as far as he, another guy, could judge) sales clerk, the pretty green-eyed girl with the beautiful hair, who was bending to stroke the store cat. She had good legs, he noticed. Toned. He looked at her, he realised probably longer than was really polite, hoped she hadn't noticed.
He moved over to the liqueur-chocs, grabbed himself a bag of Tia-maria bombs and a bar of Hershey's. He wondered if the blonde girl had noticed him.

Melody looked at the guy (Lucifi) and then at the candies he had pointed to and then smiled at him, "thanks." She walked over to the candies he had pointed to and looked at them, trying to figure out which ones she wanted. She tucked some of her hair behind her ear and grabbed a few things and went to go to pay for what she had grabbed and she noticed the other guy that had come in and was grabbing stuff, she looked at him for a moment before walking to the counter and pulling out money to pay for the things she had, placing them on the counter.

Zoey woke up late. she got up and put on her favorite sun dress and a jacket. she fiddled with her shoes and then grabbed one of her many books. she hated being home. she tip toed down stairs so her parents wouldn't notice her leaving and she slipped out the door. she made her way to the park, which was her favorite place to be. she was ready for a long boring day of reading.

Siobhan woke up to an empty house. Her parents and brother were already gone. "Figures" she muttered to herself. Siobhan didn't bother to eat breakfast, she wasn't entirely that hungry. "But I am in the mood for something sweet" she said. She got dressed and styled her short pink and white hair then headed out the door. She walked all the way to the sweets shop since it was only a couple blocks from her house. Walking into the store, Siobhan noticed all the ads for people wanting to meet others. Pathetic, she thought, If I ever got that desperate for love I'd allow someone to shoot me. Only a couple of people were in the store, including the clerk. Siobhan browsed the candy on display for the customers, more in the mood for something chewy than something chocolatey. She grabbed a giant lollipop and a bag, filling it with gumballs, then looked around for licorice. Not seeing any and feeling a bit too lazy to actually go and search for herself, she asked the sales clerk, "You got any licorice?"

James yawned and rolled out of bed, falling onto the floor. If he was awake that ment the god zues wanted him to be, so he shall. He stood and got dressed in his all white dress shirt and dress pants, then walked out his door and into zes' chambers. the huge god, with his face hidden behind the clouds, spoke to him in a voice that rumbled like thunder does across the sky. "James, you have been faithful to me, and for that I shall reward you." Zues started, but James smiled. "I don't need a reward for doing your service, milord..." but Zues interupted him. "think of this as more service in my honor. I want you to attend highschool... what's wrong james?" For he had just fainted.

After Violet finished eating, she headed out the door as fast as possible. She didn't feel like learning about marriage life today, so school was out. She'd just eaten so no restaurants or anything of the sort for her.. "I guess I'll see a movie!" she said excitedly, though she had no idea what was out. She ended up walking past the candy shop and saw more teenagers in there than usual. "Hmm." She shrugged, but decided she'd rather not go inside to not buy anything.
After looking in, and peeking at some ads, she kept going. She wanted to have more fun than just watching, so she started to skip to the movies; getting some fairly odd looks. But she didn't care; the weirder they thought she was, well, the more interesting things would be. When she finally got to the theater, she stood outside and looked at all the pictures of movies that were out. A horror... with love. A comedy... with love. A romance... well, with love. She giggled to herself. She'd rather a comedy; but she still wasn't sure. She stayed standing there, studying the pictures.
After looking in, and peeking at some ads, she kept going. She wanted to have more fun than just watching, so she started to skip to the movies; getting some fairly odd looks. But she didn't care; the weirder they thought she was, well, the more interesting things would be. Lucifi counted all the items. He had actually found the time to remember all of their prices. All he needed to do was add up the numbers. Without using the cash register's built in calculator, he said, "$12.57, plus a 40% discount. $5.00." He thought for another second, "Another 20% discount for the charming lady." He said. "$4.00 in total." Lucifi looked at the other guy who was grabbing stuff. Then somebody asked her about licorice. "Yes, I have some licorice. They're actually right next to you." He pointed to a motley of licorice. It was a lot of different colors in one area. He looked outside the window and frowned. "Love, I don't understand it." He muttered. Hopefully he would understand it one day. However, he wasn't in a rush to get into a relationship. In fact, he turns so many girls down he lost count. None of them were really interesting. He wanted a girl he could have an interesting time with, a unique experience was what he was looking for.

Violet sighed. She'd finally chosen to see the comedy after all; but it didn't start till later. She walked away, disappointed. But not for long. "Well, you have time to kill... Just go into some shop or other!" she thought excitedly. She might as well go into the candy shop; maybe get something for her sister soshe didn't look odd for just watching what went on.

Like a Shoju Manga character with extra sweetness.

She'd asked for liquorish, too, so maybe her taste in sweets matched her dark personality. Though she'd gone for the gumballs too, do who could say? Violet looked at a clock and realised she'd been taking a bit too long and by the time she'd get to the theater the movie would have just start; so she grabbed her choices and walked up to the counter, putting them on it. "Could I get these, please?" she asked as if he may not like her choices. She found her own politeness annoying sometimes; why would she have to ask to get something? He was the one getting paid; he may not even care. Probably didn't. She giggled a bit to herself, and looked at the man; waiting.

Siobhan looked at the licorice that was right by her." Oh, guess I missed it" she said, "Thanks." She paid for everything; the gumballs, lollipop, and licorice. She noticed some guy was staring at her. He looked away quickly. Siobhan sized him up. He was pretty good-looking,not that she cared or anything, but he also looked like the type of person that was full of himself. She saw him draw out a cigarette about to smoke. Siobhan hated smokers more than she hated all ten of her ex-boyfriends. She walked up to him, taking the cigarette out his hand. "Um, do you know what you're doing?" she said. "This is unhealthy for both you and everyone around you. Ever heard of lung cancer?" she said, tossing the cigarette in the small trash can next to him.

Melody made her way from the Sweet store and started walking down the sidewalk. She didn't really know what she should do really, she wanted to go to the park, but figured it would be a bit crowded, it usually was during 'school hours'. So she turns and headed towards the theatre and looked at the lists of movies. Oddly enough, she liked the horror ones the best, though she really couldn't understand why there had to be love related stuff in the horror movies, she thought it kind of ruined them in a way, but she went inside anyways, paying her way into one of the horror flicks the theatre was hosting.

"Don't flatter yourself, I was simply...concerned with...everyone else's and not to mention my health, plus it's not even allowed in here" she said. " Anyway, why would I want to kiss you, when I barely know you" said Siobhan, looking him straight in the eye. I don't care if he is cute...I was right. Totally full of himself, she thought.

Zoey was tired of reading. she got up from her reading spot and walked out of the park. she wandered around town trying to figure out what to do. she saw the sweet shop and just couldn't resist herself. there was a pretty good amount of people in the store which was awkward for her but she went on looking at the candy. she picked up a bag skittles and a snickers bar. she stood there staring at both candies trying to decide which one she wanted.

"'cos if someone like you asked me REALLY nicely, I'd think about giving up smoking," he said. He gave her cheek just the slightest touch as he passed her. "Cute blush, by the way."

Lucifi just kept doing his job, not caring about the smoke. The next guy might've cared though, it depended on the salesclerk. He looked at the clock across the shop. The minute it reached zero seconds, he said, "My shift is up, gotta wait 5 minutes for the next guy to come in, bye now!" He speed out the sweets store. Glad that's over with. He thought as he headed for his car. He then looked at the movie listings. None of them seemed to spark an interest, however, he wanted to go inside and play some games. Lucky that there was an arcade near by his store. He played Dance Dance Revolution for the time being, drawing up a crowd with every extra game he played. By the time he was on his 5th set, there was around 30 people watching him play.
