Name: Lucas D. Monroe
Age: 17
Personality: A typical son trying to live up to the family name. He works hard to get straight A's in school, and works a part-time job at a garage as an assistant. A hard worker, yes, but this kid has a rebellious side. He loves to party, and sometimes that can get out of hand. He lives a fast life among the upperclass, and tends to find that a lot of girls just can't keep up. They don't understand that he's got to live up to a name, and be a kid at the same time. Sometimes, but not usually, he'll shirk school or work to have fun with his friends. He's not trusting at first, but once he warms up to you, he'll tell you his darkest secrets, which could very well be his downfall. Believe it or not, he's got a nurturing side. Give him someone who's crying or a young child and he won't let them out of his arms until they're happy. Of course, this isn't something he displays openly. It's his soft side he likes to keep hidden under his party nature. Unfortunately, he has very little control over his emotions: something that his parents aren't proud of. He loses his temper and gets frustrated easily, which has caused problems at formal events and at work.
History: Lucas was raised as a proper child, never once being given the chance to be a misbehaved brat as he was growing up. He was expected of a lot, which is why he is who he is today. He's been into sports ever since he could remember, thanks to his dad wanting a "true American son". The family across the street, well... he was told they weren't worth much. It's been drilled into his head that they only got into the estate they have now because of luck, not hard work or trials. He knows that they have a daughter around his age, but the few times he'd asked about her, he'd just about been smacked across the face and told "She's just like any other brat that runs around these days." Lucas was never really sure whether to believe them or not, considering he'd never even met her before. However, his mind is always focused on the tasks at hand, and he doesn't think about the rival family very often. There's always a tense quiet in the middle of the street between the estate. His family has gone so far as to arrange times to check the mail and take out the garbage just so that they don't run into the "enemy" doing the same thing. Lucas thinks it's a bit ridiculous, but he abides by these rules anyway. The only time he's ever caught a glimpse of the family is spying with binoculars in his room, which no one in his family knows about.
Family: His father and mother both live with him, as well as a stern older brother, and a lovely younger sister who's treated like she's an heiress or something. They don't have any pets besides a wall they turned into a giant fishtank in their house, and a small aviary in their backyard. He's got two male cousins who live right on the lake nearby, and they're mostly who he hangs out with.
