It was Archer's first kiss. He was surprised by how soft and cool her lips were, and that they tasted like mint leafs. As new as all of this was, he was more surprised by her kissing him than how it felt. He was expecting resistance, or possibly anger. But not this. Quickly getting over his surprise, it felt as if his body was slowly melting around her. His hands reached farther around her back, and one crawled up to her neck. But after a moment, he pulled his face from hers.
"My Jewel...." he breathed out, he could not believe that had just happened and as much as he wanted more, he did not want to seem too eager. "Where did that come from, Love?"

I didn't know what to say, I managed to sour out a few words "I- Whatever it is I have had it for a long time" I didn't realize I said the last bit aloud. I smiled and most blushed, I heard footsteps and turned to see Blaine walking towards us "Hey guys" I smiled cheekily and step into Archer a little. Blaine causally sat on the table next to us and looked down at his phone, "Hey do you guys want to catch a movie Saturday?"
I smiled, this would hopefully give me more time with Archer "Yeah, I'm free"
"Um is their something your not telling me?" Blaine asked and I couldn't help but smile, again.

Her words resonated in his head, ...I have had it for a long time. He loved how that sounded, how it felt. All to soon, they were interrupted. How did Blaine even find them here? Although he did notice how she moved closer to him, and he involuntarily shifted his arm farther around her. "I never have plans. You know that." He agreed with the slim figure in his arms.

"Um is their something your not telling me?" Blaine asked.

"Do we need to?" Archer answered dryly, gently squeezing Ruby in a gentle hug.

Blaine gave a strange look before nodding "ok see you at ten" I smiled whichever as partly because Acher had just snuggled me into a hug. I smiled and just before I could do anything the bell went, Great I thought bitterly, "see you after" I smiled and stole a quick kiss on the check before leaving. I walked down the hall and quickly grabbed my phone out, I died Kurt and waited for his soft tone.

"Kurt, you'll never guess what happened" I smiled to myself,

"What?"

"Archer and I kissed" I smiled "It was like a dream"

After Ruby left Archer and Blaine alone for the second time that day, Blaine was smiling at Archer with a strange smile on his face. "What?" archer asked, walking away to his next class.
"Oh, nothing..." Blaine replied, still smiling.
"Good."
"So you and Ruby, huh?"
"The phrase, 'Oh, Nothing.' implies that you have nothing to say."
Unperturbed, Blaine pushed, "So you and Ruby, huh?"
Letting out a frustrated sigh, Archer gave in, "Are you honestly that surprised?"
"Well, I guess not, but I was hoping for something.... more."
"Like what?"
"I don't know. a better story than walking in on you two kissing in the back of the library."
"Well I'm sorry to disappoint you." He finished the conversation as he stepped through the door to his classroom.

I walked into history, I was probably going to spend the next hour or so daydreaming about Archer. I sat in my normal seat, next to the window, I found that it got the least attention.
"Ruby, please see me outside" What was going on? I slowly got up and followed Mrs Wheeler.
"Ruby, your brother, Christan has been in an accident, I'm sorry," I didn't even think before I blurted out, "but how? How bad is it?" I frowned, I could tell by the look in Mrs Wheelers eyes it was serious.
"Well, Christan is in hospital, You can go an see him now if you like."
I nodded and headed to my locker, I felt a tear trying to slip out but I held it back, I had benn crying too much.
The cool breeze blasted my hair back, I decided to call Christan.
"Hello? Christan?"
A husky voice answers me "Hey Ruby,"
I sighed "What happend?"
