"I want my life back!"

a character in “Lucid Dreamers: Revolution”, originally authored by chaoticcarrot, as played by RolePlayGateway

Description

Name: Ancel Carlson
Age:71 appears 21
Role: chosen one #2
Appearance: Ancel is a fellow of average build. he doesn't look to strong but not to weak either. he has short black hair that is rather messy and not well kept but still manages to look good on him oddly enough. his only other distinctive feature are his eyes that are and almost lifeless gray with a light brown the surrounds the pupil.
Skills, Abilities, and Hobbies: He was a graduate from the military academy and had gone so he is in good physical and mental condition. He was given the power of earth though doesn't fully understand it as of yet. This ranges from earth quacks to creating spike shot up from the ground just about anything he can think of to do with it really.

Personality

Ancel is often seen as a jack of all trades. there are few things hes considered good at but there are even few hes considered bad at and even less that he hasn't tried. normally hes a rather friendly fellow but comes of rude at time when he doesn't mean to. towards his friend he tends to foul around and poke fun at them in a friendly manner but never means anything from it and would gladly give his life for any of them if need be. He can be considered a shy person though this isn't true. He doesn't speak to people that don't catch his interest. Now if he sees some one that interest him in one way or another he will usually approach them immediately in some form or another.

Equipment

a sword he calls Ragnarok and two daggers strapped to the back of his waist.

History

Ancel lived a rather interesting, at least in his opinion, life. He always tried his best to stick out and seem different, rather that was considered weird or interesting to others never bothered him. He lived by the phrase "rather weird and interesting then normal and boring." He first learned about lucid dreaming when he was 15. at the time he figured he wasn't able to do it so he never tried until two years later when he finally gave it a go. turned out he was rather talented at it and turned into normal practice as the years went by. He went to academy and was soon to become a guard. soon he learned about being one of the four reaming lucid dreamers left and the world. He was reluctant to agree to the terms of the sages not really wanting to give up the life he once had and hadn't even gotten to really start, but eventually agreed with much regret.

So begins...

Ancel’s eyes at long last opened as he took his first breath of a new life. At first it felt strange he was drossy to say the least his vision blurred having spent so much time asleep. He rose slowly on the green crystal he laid on using his right hand to prop himself up. He looked around the cave he was placed in. he couldn’t help but find it fitting to be sealed in a cave after all he got the earth element.

While it took a few minutes for his eyes to adjust to the dimly lit cave he swung his legs over the crystal and looked around the almost empty section he was in. in side this section of the cave was the green crystal he slept on with a chest at the base. A few yards on the other end of the section of cave was a large stone door with a tiny socket in it in the shape of a tiny crystal. On the walls was a phrase written in red paint. His memory was faded but it was very clear to him who it was from. It read out “Good morning Ancel! Hope you had a good nap you lazy asshole. It’s been a long time and we only wish we could have gotten to see you wake up but unfortunately as you probably relies we’ve been long gone by the time you wake up, after all it’s been fifty years. But we left you that chest with a few things I’m sure you’d want to have so go open it up and head threw that big stone door!”

He read threw the words his eyes sanding from the messages truth. He jumped up off the crystal and brushed off the dirt that had covered over his clothing over the years. His attention turned to the chest and he quickly opened it up. At the top were his sword and two daggers. He chuckled lightly at them and spoke softly to himself. “Figures” he attached them to his belt adjusting lightly to get comfortable before he pulled out the next object was a small green crystal the same color as the one he slept on. He looked it over a bit and pocketed it. He reached back into the chest and pulled out a fairly large back full of clothing with a note on it. “Keep them clean.” He sighed a bit at the note. “Ya I’m sure I’ll have time to do the laundry.” He said sarcastically. He held onto the back with his left hand and as he was about to close the chest he notice one final object inside the chest, a photo. He reached down and pulled it up. on the picture was Ancel along with five other people. He looked at the picture with a sad look in his eyes and flipped it over to the back to see the message left on it, “you’re never alone.” His eyes watered lightly seeing this left to him.

With the chest emptied Ancel turned his attention to the door and placed the crystal in the slot the door sliding open with a rather loud screeching sound as it dragged across the floor. He flinched at the sound and spoke out to himself. “Oh lovely.” on the other side of the door was a long hallway with writing going down to the end where there was a final door with the same slot. He walked down the hall looking the all the writing. “Well sorry to say we can’t really be with you through it all but were counting on you to do what you have to. Every one back home is rooting for you even if where no long around. Good luck we know you can do It.” he reached the ended where the door lie and found writing at the top and the signatures of five people on the door the names of his closest friends. The finally words read. “oh and remember….There isn’t no stopping this train!” he stared at the words for a short while before he started chuckling to himself. It rose into a laugh. He calmed himself down as a single tear fell from his left eye. “I won’t let you down” he said with sadness in his tone. He pulled the crystal into the socket and the final door opened up the sun blinding him seeing it for the first time in years. “There isn’t no stopping this train.” He spoke with a smile and walked out into the sun using his hand to cover his eyes

Connor Pyrogen

Connor watched the string of emotions and nodded "Cassidy." He repeated to him feeling another stir. He would find the earth chosen one later it seemed Destin needed him most. Connor smiled as he seemed to remember Cassidy and even seem a tiny bit happier. When he asked of the other Lucid Dreamers he did not flinch the Sages told him he may ask this. "In this realm yes. But they did not stay dead my friend. The sages made sure of this before the battle they made sure if any lucid dreamer died they would not parish but instead go back to there own realm and they lived in earth realm." He told him. Connor opened a page of Cassidy journal and showed it to him. It was the page where she or someone else sketched on page Destin and on the other her. They were drawn to look at one another and each was smiling. Below the pictures it said 'Let's Always Keep On Smiling.' "It seems she liked your smile the most." He told him. "Come on Destin. I'm sure Cassidy is waiting to see you once more. It's been 50 years don't want to keep her waiting anymore do you?" He asked him. Hoping it got through to him though one could never be sure of such things.

Ancel hung around outside the cave for some time just waiting for his eyes to finally adjust to the day light. It took longer than he would of liked but at long last he was capable of seeing clearly again. He had been lying back against the wall of the cave contemplating what it was he was supposed to be doing. “Wish this crap came with an instruction manual.” He let out a soft sigh to his own words.

He couldn’t help but wonder if the other three dreamers had to deal with the same thing as he did. did they have to figure it out on their own? Maybe they got a guide but his died or was being lazy or something. More possible was maybe he awoke before he was supposed or maybe later and he was to late already. He shook the thought from his mind and pushed off the wall. “Well won’t learn anything siting around here all day.” he said with a sigh.

He took his first steps outside the cave in fifty years and it was rather refreshing for him. The area around he noticed he was a forest of some kind mostly he was placed there to help cover up the cave. He had never been good with direction or finding his way but he figured why not he was lost from the beginning what would happen he’d get more lost? So off he went into the trees in a single direction with any luck he find his way out rather quickly and find out what’s been going on since his time asleep.

Connor Pyrogen

Connor turned to look at the female who said her name he handed Destin Cassidy's Journal as he turned to her. "Ah yes, Kyo the air chosen one. It's nice to finally meet you. I am Connor Pyrogen the sage guide. This young man is Destin the water chosen one. The other two are exploring a bit but we will find them later." He replied checking over his clothes to make sure they were symmetrical. He smiled at the woman warmly. It was a great day for him and he was cheerful and happy for the time being.

Cassidy Pyro SaintClaire

Cassidy only nodded at the male. She walked to a very large oak tree one of which was 80 feet high an 5 feet wide. She scaled it, running up the sides with almost to much ease to the highest tree branch that could hold her weight. She grabbed the tree branch with both hands flipping herself onto it so she was sitting on it, her long legs dangling over the side of it. She looked out over the land trying to see what all had changed in the last 50 years. She wondered if Destin had awoken yet. She wondered if he still was himself. She remembered his sudden...combustion. The blood that splattered on her, the pieces of him spread about in many areas. She remembered her screams, remembered seeing her soldiers and Destin's soldiers get struck down one by one there blood splattered outwards, she could still hear there screams crying out in the day and in the night, could still feel the heat of the fires as the forests burned around her it was all too real even now she could remember it so clearly. Even in her slumber the deaths haunted her. In the end she was fighting for this land because her troops defended it, giving up there lives for this cause. She would not allow them to have died in Veign. She put her hand up to her forehead shaking her head slightly trying to erase the vivid video of the war from her mind though it just continued to replay. She just continued scanning the area to try and get her mind off of these things.

Ancel walked for what felt like hours. Even the trees started to blind together in his eyes. No land markers of any kind and no idea if he was heading towards civilization or away from it. It had begun to wear down at him, he was always one to enjoy traveling and seeing new places but this was just trees as far as the eye can see.

Ancel stopped walking his fist curling up into a fist as he grit his teeth just from the annoyance this forest was putting on him. “This is so stupid!” he yelled out not caring if any one heard the ground where his feet were placed shot up into the air lifting him higher and higher up above the tree line giving him a nice few of the area around. He placed his hands on his hips and smiled widely. “Much better” he said with a chuckle in his voice.

He looked around the horizon and spotted a building far off the distance. He raised his right hand over his eyes to block out the sun and squinted towards the building trying to get a better view. It was in the moment that his stomach let out a loud growl and Ancels face dropped as hunger finally caught up with him. He dropped his hand to his stomach holding it lightly as the ground began lowering back into place. “Sure hope they have food there.” he spoke with a soft sigh and as the ground went back to its natural place he stepped off and took off in a light jog towards the building he had seen.

Ancel couldn’t help but think flinging himself across the forest would have been a much faster trip. Sure it would have made him stick out a bit but anything was better than all this walking. It felt like he wasn’t even getting anywhere anymore much like before in a way only this time he knew that he was going the right way. It felt like forever to him but at long last he broke free of the endless tress and a town in full view to him.

He rose up his hands in excitement and almost screamed out but caught himself at the last minute. “Wait a minute….stealth.” he said silently to himself dropping his hands back down. He placed his hand on his chin thinking to himself on a good way to proceed back into civilization. His attention turned to his weapons, being unarmed would help keep attention away but if he got into trouble he have to be more creative this way. Keeping his crystal in his pocket made sense to him he didn’t want to part with it seeing as how he believed it to have some higher purpose. He nodded his head at the thoughts it would have to do form him.

He stepped back behind the trees and parted the ground just large enough to fit his weapons inside. He then pulled a dagger from its sheath and placed a small X on the tree fallowed by him placing his gear into the hole he had made. “Coming in handy already.” He chuckled to himself as he closed off the top hiding his equipment. With his gear hidden he double checked himself to make sure there was nothing to strange on him and headed out into the town.

Kya

Although it was cute seeing the two friends reunited, Kya didn't want to spend her whole day seeing them converse.
"Alright....so three of us down, one more to go. Now that i know who everyone is and everything, I think I'm going to go search for the last one of us, whoever they may be. WISH ME LUCK!!!"

In one swift movement, Kya threw the apple in her hands, and using the power of wind as a speed boost, ran quickly off into the forest. She was going so fast, that the fastest runner alive wouldn't be able to keep up with her. Or at least she thought.

As she made her way deeper and deeper into the forest, Kya ran up the trees, doing flips and twirls in midair. She had missed the sensation of flying on a trapeze. Air seemed to be the perfect element for her. However, after a while, Kya started to lose her balance, and after one final trick in mid-air, she fell flat on her face into the woods.

As she picked herself up, she shrieked in pain. As she had heard from the popping sound, her ankle was hurting like it was on fire. She tried to give in to shrieking, but she knew it was the only way she was going to get help. After all, she was alone in the forest. What would get her first, lions, tigers, or bears?

Looking through her knapsack, Kya finally found some bandage. She wrapped up her leg, and tried to get up. She put all her strength on her right leg, the one that didn't hurt. Hopping around, Kya tried to look for any sign of life. As if out of nowhere, she found a sign.

There was a small 'x' marked on a tree. It looked as if it had just been cut into the tree. Someone had been there. Hoping they would come back, Kya sat patiently by the tree.

Getsus

"Why thank you, Henry!" Getsus said, delighted. It was rare that Hal made things for his friends, and a secret recipe was more rare. He tasted it, not knowing what to expect. His dish was more than good; it was extraordinary. Brendan could taste sweet, sour, bitter, salty, all in one spoonful. His cooks at home could never re-create what Hal had prepared for him.

"Henry, this is amazing!!!" Getsus explained. He chuckled, a content smile on his face. His chuckling was quite noticable, but as seconds passed, his laughter faded into confusion. "Wait, Henry....free of charge? for this? I cannot accept this for free, Henry..." Getsus said, sincerely. "Surely, I must pay you for this. If you want anything, my friend, you can have it. Just please, tell me." he said. It was as though Henry and Getsus had traded places. Henry was now the master, and Getsus was the servant.

Ancel wandered into right through the front gate without another thought. Some place really the construction straight out of a fairy tale and in a strange way he was sort of in one. More importantly then the building was the people. The first living beings he had seen in years.

To him it only felt like a few days since he was put to sleep so oddly enough he wasn’t amazed in the slightest, if anything he found it to be rather boring. There were just normal people going about their lives. Sure there was the occasional guard most likely one of the people he was supposed to be fighting but outside that just normal people, normal boring people.

Ancel walked up and down the roads not drawing any attention to himself acting as though the people around him did and he hated It, everything about it. There was a deep urge for him to scream out just to make things interesting for their boring lives if only for a moment but then he had a thought. A thought that asked him what if it wasn’t meant to be like this? He looked around at a few of the faces of the passer biers and he saw fear. “The guards’ maybe?” he thought to himself. “Placing such an uneasy feeling to them all” he clinched his fits thinking back to his reality and the history behind it. To him it was no different than another dictator trying to brain wash the world.

He wanted to start something, no he didn’t know what, but he wanted to do something but couldn’t, not without causing more pressure on the people living there. His hands calmed as he fought his urge to be the hero. He needed to leave this place he wanted to leave before he did something he knew he shouldn’t. So he did.
In order to keep away from suspicion he wondered the streets for a short while until he found himself a dark alley void of life. He double checked to make sure no one was there and the ground below him shot open and he let himself fall into the top closing right after him. It was pitch black but he didn’t care all he had to do was walk back in the direction he came from and the earth would open up his path. He took his first step the earth in front of him opening up into a tunnel and closing behind him as he passed by. It was a long and tedious process for him and he felt tired by the time he reached the spot below the tree he had previously placed the ‘x’ on. He smiled at his gear sitting in front of him as a sign he finally made it out. He strapped his gear back onto his belt and looked up above him the roof ripping open and letting the sun shine in. he let out a yell as he launched himself up and out of the hole in a burst of dust and dirt. “ freedom!”

"I know and you don't get used to it either." was Cassidy's best reply as she tried to look tough again. How could he ever be used to her crying? He could never be used to seeing tears fall from those brown eyes that were so strong, so inspiring. She was a girl that was not meant to cry, at least not with sadness. She was a blazing goddess, waiting for her potential to be unleashed. And that made Destin think... how appropriate. The element of Fire was at her beck and call. He watched as she nodded trying to stop she wiped her eyes trying to rid herself of the tears.

"You don't die on me and I won't cry?" he tilted his head a little to the side, as if trying to understand what she just said...then nodded.

"It's good to see you lieutenant." At this he might have smiled with joviality, but with him as he was now...there was no smile, not even the crinkling in his eyes. He just shook his head.

"We're on the same level now Cass...maybe you've even above me now." he corrected her. He closed his palm with the watery globe and kept his hands in his pocket, a little lost at thought as his dead eyes stared into space. He looked up just in time to see Kya taking off.

"Alright....so three of us down, one more to go. Now that i know who everyone is and everything, I think I'm going to go search for the last one of us, whoever they may be. WISH ME LUCK!!!"

She was quite a spirited one. Doesn't seem like she can stand still in one place. He closed his eyes and took out his hands from his pockets, reaching over to take his translucent light blue crystal and slipped it into his pocket, not making a move to take Cassidy's journal.

"That's Cass's to keep. I'm no pryer." he told the Sage Guide, although he did have a longing to read through it. But it didn't seem to be his place to do so. It was Cassidy's choice to share and to keep certain things a secret to herself. He bowed himself away from the Sage Guide and followed the path Kya took a while before, just in time to grab the apple falling down. He peered at it while he continued to walk, as if intrigued by the object in his hand.

After what seemed to be a mighty long while, he finally came to a stop as he saw Kya standing by a tree, one of her ankles bandaged. This girl really knew how to run...she only left a few seconds before him and here she was. There was also a new person, who suddenly popped out from the ground like a...

"Mole." Destin said in blunt monotone, pointing straight at the black haired male. He was resisting the urge to walk over and whack the 'mole' right in the head. He just kept his finger pointed at the new stranger and his face impassive, not showing his urge to really whack the 'mole' hard in the head.

Connor Pyrogen

Connor nodded as the male took the crystal and not the journal. He picked up the journal and put it in his pack and began to follow Destin. Seeing the earth male pop out of the ground he laughed. "You must be the famous Ancel." He told the male. Ancel was the sages favorite. He was apparently quite the card and jokester.

Cassidy Pyro SaintClaire

Cassidy was now herself she watched silently as the others walked to follow the jittery hyper girl but felt no need to truly follow the female or to meet anyone else. She walked away back through the path she originally walked and scaled the wall of the camp sitting atop it and looking towards the camp playing with her element fire. She was making the fire turn into many shapes mimicking stars, creasent moons, a heart, trees, a sphere, a leaf, swords, axes, angels, demons, wings, anything really. And then she began turning her fire into replicas of the people she saw. She looked around the camp for muses for her artwork; seeing all the males and females doing there duties and mimicking them with her fire and then she saw Tinkerton speaking to the animal male she mimicked this with her fire, then red haired female doing well...what the red haired female does and mimicked that and then she saw male Axel and his axe and mimicked this with her fire, the flames were not orange, yellow, and blue. No instead the flames were multicolored, her flame were the vibrant color of a rainbow. She loved art and this seemed to pass the time. And oddly she was surprisingly great at it. Every thing she sculpted was a exact replica of the thing she was sculpting. Well as exact as rainbow fire can be. Which is pretty exact. She nodded at them all when they looked her way.

Ancel blinked as he looked at the crowd that managed to gather around his little ‘x’. “well what the hell….” He frowned at the apparent failure of his hiding place. He couldn’t help but find it strange so many people managed to end up here but he shook the thought from his mind.

"You must be the famous Ancel." The strange man said to him. Ancel responded with a wide grin and closing his left eye. He held up his right arm in a flexing look and placed his left hand on his bicep. “The one and only!” the monotone voice of the other male however appeared to not catch his attention in the slightest it wasn’t so much what he said but the fact his voice was monotone.

His attention turned to the girl resting on the tree he had marked. He dropped his hands back down and scratched the back of his head. “I didn’t do that to here did I? I mean ya I might of overdid my entrance there but uh…” he frowned at her and spoke up to the crowd of people. “and who the hell are you people any way!”

Kya
The next couple of seconds went by in a blur. Solomon came out of nowhere and asked Kya if she was hurt. Before she could speak, someone or something shot out of the ground beside her. She jumped, but became calm as her eyes identified the thing as a human about her age. Connor and Destin came along, and Connor said, "You must be the famous Ancel."
“The one and only!” the man said, winking and holding his bicep. Kya couldn't help but give a small chuckle.
“I didn’t do that to here did I? I mean ya I might of overdid my entrance there but uh…” the man said, looking down at Kya's injury.
"Oh no no no! It was totally out of my own stupidity! Nothing to worry about sir!" she said with a smile.
As Connor talked to Ancel, Kya turned her attention back to Solomon and answered his questions.
"Yeah, i hurt my ankle while i was running. I guess i've gotten a little over my head with these new wind powers..." she said, scratching the back of her head.
"Anyway, i'm pretty sure it's just sprained. I heard it pop rather than crack. I'm pretty sure i'll be able to walk alright. I know it's been fifty years...but does the IDD still have healers around? Y'know, people who can heal injuries?" she asked, nervous as to what his response would be.

Getsus
Henry had left to go talk to someone, (a woman who looked like she was in a panic) and so Dante and Getsus were left at the table.
"So," Getsus started, "about your question at my house before...."
He took a sip from his drink before he started to talk. "I have some news for you. I have designed something that could possibly be used as a weapon if anything should ever go wrong in the land. You interested?" he asked.

Ancel placed his hands behind his head in a relaxed manner looking through the crowd of people and all the talking that started. "Oh no no no! It was totally out of my own stupidity! Nothing to worry about sir!" “glad to know.” He said with a light smile turning his attention back to the others. He didn’t really act like he was paying attention to what any one was saying his yes wandering about the tree line though he truly had heard everything. “Hmm interesting. So can I help you all with something? Or do you just enjoy hanging around my little x over here?” he dropped his hand in a light sigh. True he wasn’t much for stealth but this was ridiculous.

While the rest were talking, and the 'mole' finally introduced himself as Ancel, Destin lowered his hand and stopped pointing at the 'mole'. He peered around. Where was Cassidy? Destin slowly shook his head. If he knew her well enough, she must've felt a little impatient and started wandering off on her own. And knowing her, she'll probably come back on her own once she's had her fill of wandering. Now... Kya's ankle. She sprained it...

For the second time after fifty years, Destin utilized his thoughtform abilities. This time, he materialized a crutch into being. Again, there was that unfamiliar feeling that he felt when he was thoughtforming and he had to strain to maintain the image of the object. Fifty years ago, Destin could thoughtform anything into being without the slightest strain. Yet now, it made him feel spent. And a crutch was a larger object compared to what he was creating the previous time, and previously, all he had to do was to form a current object into a different form. He leaned on the crutch a little and tested his weight. It worked fine.

He walked over and handed the crutch over to Kya.

"Here. Crutch...for your ankle. " he explained, blood slowly trickling from his nose went unnoticed, he hardly felt it. "Don't want to aggravate the sprain. Keep your weight away from the bad ankle."

After saying that, he peered off into the distance for a little while, as if deep in thought about something. Then...

"Solomon, 'Mole' Ancel. Nice to meet you. " he greeted, lightly tapping the black haired male's head with a reed he plucked from the ground.

Solomon

"-" Solomon looked as if her were to say something an realized he almost spoke to her in his mainland language. It was an ancient, nearly forgotten form of words which he hadn't used in many, many years.
"Ah.. Yes- there are still healers here in "IDD."

Solomon glanced over to Destin and nodded once to the boy observing him on the spot- searching for strength weaknesses, anything for information on someone which he didn't really know. Her golden eyes softened and he gave a polite smile with no hint what-so-ever that he had tried to determine the boy's skill.
As was Ancel- when Solomon have seen him before. It was the same with everyone.

"Nice to meet to as well." He said in a genuine voice, nodding once to him.

Then, a noise to the East- Solomon looked up just as an approximate of 7 birds flew from a sturdy oak. He was so focused on his observations that it nearly gave him a start.
It was reason enough for his to cease using those senses.

Connor Pyrogen

Connor looked at Ancel "I'm to guide you on your way to lead the dreamland to victory against the war. He asked him one eyebrow raised. He was surprised he did not know this already. Everyone else did.

Cassidy Pyro SaintClaire

Cassidy stayed perched atop the wall of the camp continuing to sculpt the Freedom Fighters from the rainbow colored fire from atop the wall silently. She wasn't one to go down and meet with the anyone. No, she shared enough words for the century from her taste. She wasn't meaning to really draw any attention to herself. She was experimenting with her powers and her art capabilities. Seeing how much fire she could use before it became to much. Experimenting with the different colors and how much energy each color needed to be made. Finding her limit and her weakness. Watching the land and the scenery and the freedom fighters. Mapping the amount of wind out for her fire. Feeling just how the wind effected her fire. Calculating her battle tactics and the outsiders movements. Coming up with every possible thing the enemy could do. Mapping out there war and there journey to a T. She would do this until everything she had to do, her team had to do, and everyone else had to do was planned out perfected. It was a painfully long process because of all the missing bits and pieces of entail she had on the outsiders. But she was not one to give up. She refused to. Her rainbow fire sculptures were just a pastime as she calculated.

"Here. Crutch...for your ankle. " Destin said, handing a cane over to Kya. She graciously smiled and thanked him. She also noticed as he talked to him that blood was trickling down his nose. For some reason, he seemed unaware of this...

"Ah.. Yes- there are still healers here in "IDD." Solomon replied. Kya made a sigh of relief. At least there was hope for her to recover. She looked around. There was Solomon, Connor, Destin, Ancel, and herself, but there was someone missing....

"Where's the other girl? the fire girl?" Kya asked Connor. "Did she leave or something? Maybe if we get moving, we can find her. I'm sure we'll need to find her sooner or later." Kya stood up and used her crutch for support. It wasn't Kya's first injury, so she could walk with it pretty well. She just prayed that their would be no situations where she would have to use combat.

Ancel toned out the reaming conversations between the group. Figuring he already knew what it was they were supposed to be doing he laid back on the tree with the ‘x’ he had previously placed. He reached into his pocket and pulled the picture from it his eyes gassing over it. His expression changed to almost emotionless something very unfitting to him. He stared at it for a short while as they continued to talk.

He flipped the picture over reading the phrase written on the back ‘there isn’t no stopping this train.’ "Solomon, 'Mole' Ancel. Nice to meet you. " he heard out of everything said. “Don’t call me Mole.” He said with a sigh his eyes not being removed from the writing on it.

As Kya listened to the four men having a conversation, she could swear that she heard something from behind her. She started to walk with her cane, and said, "I'll be right back."

Although it was painful, Kya moved as fast as she could using her good foot. She used the wind as a boost, but it didn't have the same effect as using her own two feet. Suddenly, Kya saw something glittering in the sun. She took cover under a bush and peeked her eyes out to see what was going on.

There, walking about 5 feet away from her were twosoldiers carrying large machine guns. She listened in on their conversation. "Yeah Joe, the wall is two miles away. I don't see anything suspicious. We'll go back. The big boss wouldn't want us to wander..." the one man said. A wall? What kind of wall? Not only was their appearence enough to stir Kya's mind, but this mention of a wall was like something from another world. She never remembered any kind of wall. Kya guessed that the men were soldiers. What did they do at this wall, and what was their purpose. Before it left Kya's vision, she looked at their appearence one more time. Printed on both of their uniforms was a strange symbol. Kya knew that symbol anywhere; it was the symbol of Brendan Getsus.

Kya raced back to the four men, a concerned, frantic, and furious look on her face. "I just saw something strange...." she said, trying to catch her breath, as she had ran back as fast as she could without hurting herself.
"Do you all remember that man...Getsus? There were these guys wearing his symbol. I knew that the IDD had lost the damn war, but i had no idea he was still ALIVE!!!"

Out of anger, Kya slammed her fist into the tree. She hoped that in fifty years time, that man would be dead, or at least his symbol. The symbol had brought Kya so many bad memories. From her friends's deaths, to her favorite places being destoyed. They had all been marked with flags of that symbol. To Kya, that symbol meant hell.

Connor Pyrogen

Conner watched the Kya hit the tree and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Let's not get anymore injuries Kya.." He spoke to her. When she spoke of the symbol Getsus and grimanced. There was no way that Getsus knew of the four chosen and the only thing in this land that could be the target is the Freedom Fighters he sighed piecing the puzzle of her words together. "Solomon go to the camp and report this to Axcel: Getsus is on his way to take down the freedom fighters. Make haste who knows what Getsus has up his sleeve this time. And Kya, Destin, Ancel I'll let you choose what we do. We have two options fight the men and risk Getsus finding out about your exsitance or let the professionals do there job without our help." He told them.
