Ancel Carlson's Story

Ancel fallowed the group with his hands behind his head in his usual relaxed manner. He eyes the gate they walked through and frowned at it the quality of it. He dropped his hand with a sigh of defeat and spoke out softly. “This is going to be a long endeavor.” He perked up bringing back his smile. “Well what can you do let’s see what we’re working with here.” He brushed his hands together staying oblivious to whatever it was the rest of the group decided to do and wander off a short way to look over what the freedom fighters had made for them self’s. “Now we’re a good spot to call home?” he rubbed his chin lightly as his eyes scanned threw the open spots he could find in the camp.

Cassidy would watch the scene silently looking at Destin and then at Kya she would sigh and look back at the scene.

Connor Pyrogen

Conner smiled "I'm sure it will!" He exclaimed. "It's a perfect double!" He smiled.

Lust Asami Curtis

Lust walked through the camp her very long wavy black hair that cascaded down her back blew in the wind softly. She looked to be 19 or 20 years old. She was a petite female in size only 5'3 at most and she held a flawless model-like body complete with hour-glass curves, big bust, long legs, a flawless complexion, red full lips, caring strong and yet vibrant light green cat doe eyes, gentle features and she possessed a somewhat buxom figure and held a more aesthetically pleasing look, when compared to the others. She wore a long black over coat that was open and flowed with her movements, a dark black leather skin tight suit with knee high high heeled black boots, and a black corset, two guns on her hips and a weapons belt that showed her body off well. Her green eyes scanned the area and her full lips were set into a smile. She held grey purple eye shadow and red lipstick, a bit of blush, and a tad bit of compact, and thickish eyeliner. Her strides as she walked were graceful and short and almost whispy. She looked at Ancel and smiled nodding at him in a means of a respectful greeting. He was cute. The children of the camp seemed to flock to her at this point and she smiled and knelt down as she talked to them happily. The children seemed to look up to her by the way they looked at her. They smiled and laughed as she talked with them. One brought a train over to her it seemed to have a broken wheel and she took a toothpick and fixed the wheel and the child seeming happy with this he ran off happily smiling and laughing. She saw Solomon and smiled at him as well nodding in a respectful greeting at him.

Kya
Kya was puzzled at the fairy's idea to make a replica of the captured leader. Why not tell the people the truth? Then again, just like what the fairy had said, people were leaving. There would be no more rebels if everyone gave up hope. There would be no chance of breaking free from Getsus's reigns. Sometimes telling a lie is the only way to bring spirit back to people.

Kya looked back, hoping to find someone who could help her with her ankle. After all, she was in a campsite for rebels. There had to be someone who could help her. She saw someone; a woman about her age who had long black hair, and who was extremely attractive. Why were all the women in the IDD so beautiful? Kya suspended her thoughts and approached her. She seemd friendly with all the children around her.

"Excuse me," she said, crutch carrying her, "do you know anywhere where i can find a healer? My ankle...i damaged it on the way over here."

Lust Asami Curtis

Lust looked at the female. "Little ones I'm going to go help this nice lady." She told them. The children nodded "Okay Teacher." they all said one after the other. She smiled at them as they all ran off and looked at the female. "Hello I go by the name Lust I can help you." She told her and walked away getting a 3 stones and laying them infront of her. She then knelt down clapping her hands together and then putting her hands forcefully to the ground palm down. A light glowing and the stones turned into a soft cushioned chair. She helped her to sit down in the chair and looked at her ancle. "Seems you may have twisted it. I'll be right back. I have a potion and some ice that will help right up with that fairly quickly. SHe smiled and walked to her tent that was nearby. She returned a few minutes later and handed her a potion vial with a red liguid inside it. "This should help." She told her and then put a icepack on top of her ankle. "And this should help also." She told her. Her voice was kind and caring holding a sweet sad tone to it. She was obviously a good person. One of her older students came to her speaking about something he had don't and she glowered and hit him upside the head angrily. Her expression changed to anger and her sweet atmosphere changed to one of blind fury and force. It was terrifying. She narrowed her eyes in a evil manner and clinched her. "That is the one thing I told you not to do!" She said through her teeth furious at him she hit him again and then one more time for good measure. "That is forbidden! You could have cost yourself your life if it had worked!" She yelled very upset with him she knelt down her student who looking down ashamed by his actions. She hugged him suddenly revealing her worry and love for the boy. "I don't know what Id do if it I lost one of you." She told him.

Ancel stopped in what was a clear spot or at least clear enough were it was just the ground with building on both sides of the tiny spot of land he decided to claim. Ancel looked around and let out a loud wisely still completely ignoring what everyone was doing. “Oi Cassidy! Come here a moment I need your help!” he looked back to the plot of land and rubbed his hands together eagerly. “All right let’s see what I can do.” He crotched down and placed his hands on the floor focusing a blurring out everyone around him. The ground began to shake as though an earth quake was going on. The sound of earth pushing together could be heard and it was hardly silent. A block of earth in the shape of a tiny shake grew up out of the ground. It wasn’t very large only about 3 yards wide all around and up. The ground stood shaking and Ancel placed his hands on his hips very pleased with himself. “This may just be the best work vie ever done.” He nodded his head with a wide smile.

“Oi Cassidy! Come here a moment I need your help!” Cassidy blinked and walked away from the group to find Ancel. She found him fairly easily and looked at the shack and then at Ancel. "You called?" She asked him a confused expression upon her face.

Ancel placed his hands on the building he had created and an opening the size of one person open up that lead down into the ground. “So I’m going to need you to go inside and find some torches that should be in there and light them. It should lead to a hall with five rooms in it two on each side and one at the end of the hall. Oh and don’t worry about bumping into anything there’s no furniture yet.” He nodded to himself again. “oh and your more than welcome to get first dibs on a room when you head in I’ll try to make it more home like when you pick.”

Cassidy smiled and put down her hood shaking her head her fill lips in a smile as her eyes shifted to orange and the pigment shimmering and swirling and twisting her will of fire shinning through her eyes. "I have the ability known as eagle eye. I can easily see in the dark among other things. Her orange eyes shifted to that of more pronounced eagle eyes "and With Pleasure." She told him as she walked down the stairs gracefully when the stairs ended She continued walking down the hall seeing everything. She now saw in negative seeing everything clearly. She swirled her hand in a circling motion fire spinning around it and then she flicked her wrist towards the torches and each one lit. She continued walking to each room. She chose the furthest room the one that was away from the others room. She entered it and tapped her foot three times knowing Ancel would feel it being earth. She was letting him know this was her room. With that she walked back up and nodded at him. "It's done." She told him. She seemed pained by something and she quickly walked away.

Conner smiled at him. "I'm sure it will!" He exclaimed. "It's a perfect double!" He smiled.

"I value your opinion." Tink said returning the smile. Connor seemed patronizingly happy for some reason. Tink had to admit he was surprised he wasn't trying to change any of the many asymmetrical factors of his room yet. Tink shifted his jacket slightly so that he could make it slightly more symmetrical.

He was back to nit-picking on the fake Axe when the earth beneath him began to shake. He lifted off out of instinct but watched as the fake Axe sat as if nothing was happening. Very convincing Tink thought before deciding to use the quake as an exercise. He stared at the illusion and immediately it started to get up casually. It's an earthquake, a little shakier he thought causing the illusion to react with the earth and put his arms out for balance. And show some fear at this he thought before remembering that Axe never showed fear. The quake was over before he could see if he had perfected the reaction. "My works cut out for me." he muttered before looking around to assess the damage. The stilts of his canopy had survived if not slightly shaken, thank the heavens. He turned to look at Connor who didn't seem to have done to badly.

When he was satisfied everything was alright in his tent he went to the door to see how others fared. Pulling the flaps aside he surveyed the camp. He nearly fell to the ground in surprise at the new construct situated in the camp. It seemed to have been a center of attention until Tink came out and all eyes and agape mouths turned to him. He responded with confusion until he saw that Axe had followed him out. "Oh dear." he muttered while he felt his glow scream to the world he was just as surprised as they were.

Ancel sighed at the taping for her room. “figures it be as far as she could get. Like it even matters !” he chuckled to himself and brought a smile back to his face as he rested his hands behind his head and looked back to where the others were. He let out another loud wisely towards the others. “oi guys come pick out a room would I’ll take whatever is left.”

Ancel watched Cassidy walk away it clear to him that she was pained. Strangely enough he always had a strange talent for being able to tell when someone was depressed or hurt in some way even when it was nearly impossible to tell. Back in the real world he usually kept to his own business when people were hurt and instead of trying to talk it out he ended up just entertaining them instead. He scratched his head contemplating whether or not he should do this here as well or if that was even the problem. From what little he knew about her there wasn’t much for him to think on. She kept to herself a lot and perhaps that would have been best. He didn’t care though he shook his head removing the thoughts a from his mind and walked after her with a soft sigh speaking silently to him. “ya ya ant no stopping this train…”

Cassidy Pyro SaintClaire

Cassidy had scaled a tree from a ways away sitting on the highest branch she sung a soft tune. Her back leaned against the trunk of the tree one of her long legs bent the other stretched on the tree limb. Her brown wavy hair blew softly in the wind. She was a gifted singer and it showed as she sung the songhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ny7NZPfl0l4. The song was a sad and angry song about a mother betrayed by a man and bearing his son. The lyrics of the song show the mother singing to her child who she plans to have fulfill her revenge against the man who betrayed her. Her full lips were in set in a pout as she sung. She felt stupid for walking away hurt in such a dramatic manner for something so silly as her vision of home.

When the earthquake shook Lust seemed unaffected by it completely keeping her balance as if nothing happened her face unchanged. The chair held together only shifting a bit. "I'll be right back I need to check on the children real fast." She walked away to find the children who seemed scared but nothing else. She calmed them down and then made her way back to Kya.

Connor Pyrogen

Connor followed Tink and looked at the Illusion he nudged Tink lightly "Whatever your gonna do you should do it quickly before they catch on." He says in a low tone so only he hears it.

Ancel stopped just shy of the tree Cassidy sat on. He rested against the base of the tree simply listening to her sing. He waited for her to finish her song before he pushed himself away from the tree and spoke up. “you know you shouldn’t run off without saying anything you’re going to start worrying people.” He frowned at her from the bottom of the tree. He had an idea as to why she was out here but didn’t consider it his place to ask at least not yet. “after all I won’t be around all the time to come find you.”

"Thanks a billion, Lust!" Kya said to the kind lady. She drank the potion, and received wonderful results. Her ankle felt as though it had never been injured. She slowly moved it, and although it hurt just a little, Kya knew that she could easily walk again. She threw the crutch behind her, shouting, "Goodbye old lady crutch!!!" and sat in the chair with her hands behind her head, and her legs crossed. The ice pack not only felt good on her ankle, but on her bare foot in general.

Suddenly, there seemed to be a small tremor. Kya grabbed on to the chair, which remained firmly in place. Like Lust, she was unharmed.
"I'll be right back I need to check on the children real fast." the lady said. Kya nodded and let the woman go tend to her children. Kya had almost forgotten what it was like to have children to look after. Those were the days when she worked in the circus....

With Lust not back, Kya decided to check up on her notebook. She opened her knapsack and grabbed the blue spiraled notebook. She turned to the page where she had left off, and she ran her finger down to the second star on the page. The words were in gray ink instead of the red color it was before. It read,

'So now that you have found the sage guide, you must be at the campsite. You probably know that your enemy still lives. If not, well then, he still lives. Unfortunately, he's creating something rather devestating and rather...nostalgic. At least that's what the sages are saying... Anyway, you may be curious about some sort of wall? Apparently, that wall is some sort of barrier. It's there to keep people away from the path you're supposed to be on. The problem is, nobody really knows about it. Why? The first reason is because it's invisible. I would get into more details, but it's really complicated. The second reason why is because tons of enemies are there, patrolling the wall. Making sure nobody goes past it, and making sure nobody goes back to tell about it. (in other words, killing people.) What i need you to do is to go into the woods and explore the wall. You may find something handy. To get to where you need to go, follow the crows overhead. Be careful, as you don't wanna get stuck between the enemies and the wall. You may wanna go soon, because time is running out before bad things happen... good luck....'

The determined and curious spirit in Kya wanted to go exploring. She looked around and saw that everyone was occupied with something. Connor, the fairy, and destin seemed to be working on the illusion, and Ancel was talking to Cassidy. Getting up off of her chair, Kya quickly ran to the wall, and boosted herself over it with wind, just before Lust came back to check on her. Kya wished she could leave some sort of note or something, but then again, she was alright. The lady's job was over, right?

Kya kept wandering, her hands tightly gripping her knapsack. Suddenly, she heard flapping sounds; the crows. She followed the flapping sounds, not so sure where they were coming from.

"Nor will I." Cassidy replies to him. She looked down at him. "Sometimes one needs to get away. I seem to run away alot." She admits looking up at the sky. "The last home I had was with Destin and my men..." She told him the flashbacks evident in her pained expression."I suppose it was just to much at the time. Dramatic..how annoying I am actually acting like my gender." She says with disgust. She jumped down from the tree landing in a catstance she turns hearing movement she uses her eagle eye to see the culprit. She blinked seeing Kya run off she takes Ancel's hand in hers lightly tugging him "Kya's running determination in her eyes. The air element seems klutzy. I think it's best we follow." She tells him looking into his eyes getting lost in them a slight blush on her cheeks.

Lust saw the girl was gone and smiled a bit understanding in her eyes. She would turn to look at the Axcel illusion and shake her head with a smile. She grew up the Axe. She knew better then to fall for it but she understood the reasons Tink had for the trick. She just nodded his way with knowing eyes. She saw Destin and blushes.

Connor Pyrogen

Conner watches the scene and smiles. "Grand idea Destin!" He smiles happily. He looked around for Kya and sighed a bit seeing as the other two were gone as well. He shook his head but smiled.

"The last home I had was with Destin and my men..." he sighed a bit at her words. “Well find a new one?” he smiled at her and turned his attention to Kya. “ya we should fallow.” He frowned and nodded at her. “some ones got to keep you kids alive.” He turned towards the direction Kya had taken off to and head off that direction after her his hand parting with Cassidys. “Where you going in such a hurry hu?” he whispered lightly to himself. Ancel suddenly took a deep breath and his eyes widened as he remembered something. “Not good that thing from before is still out there some were!” he turned back to Cassidy clearly concerned. “We have to hurry she doesn’t know about it yet!” Ancel turned back to the path and took off running fully aware it would be difficult to catch up to her and her wind.

She shook her head lightly. And tilted her head "thing?" She asked. "Um..I should go check on the others. You go on and save her." She said but he was already gone she sighed in relief. "What the hell was I doing." She asked herself and walked to find Destin she him found easily and took her place beside him until she noticed the blood. She sighed at the blood she took out a handkerchief and dabbed it away. "Destin be more careful..I don't want you dying again because you over exerted yourself and your power." She told him with a sigh. She looked down after it was done "What am I going to do with you?" She asked in a somewhat playful serious tone.

Conner smirked "Love him forever?" He joked teasing her for her closeness to Destin.

Cassidy Pyro SaintClaire

Cassidy blushed and looked at him her eyes narrowed. "Let us get something straight. I don't follow you. You are not my leader and I won't follow your orders like you are. I will kick your ass like I did with my soldiers. And if it was not for Destin being here I would have left already. You are young and you are arrogant. And you know what I did to the last person who spoke to me like that?" She asked viewing his words as blatant disrespect. "I broke his jaw so he couldn't disrespect anyone for a month until it healed. Don't think just because your our guide I wont do the same." She warned her eyes orange and firey again.

Conner smirked "Don't forget fire I am a sage. I know your secrets." He threatened her back.

Cassidy Pyro SaintClaire

"If I break your jaw you wont be able to speak these secrets." She continued on.

"I can write it then." He laughed.

Cassidy Pyro SaintClaire

"Then I'll break your hands." She snapped.

Connor Pyrogen

"I have your journal its already written there." He told her. "Oh and its hidden so you wont take it back." He narrowed his eyes a sneer on his lips.

Cassidy balled her hand in a fist and swung it back to punch him. "I'll take my chances!" She snapped as she brought her fist forward to punch him across the face with enough force to break his jaw.

Conner caught her hand and pinned it behind her back.

Cassidy forced her head backwards hitting his nose which began to bleed and then she pulled her leg back an kicked him.

Conner wrapped his arm around her neck so she couldnt throw her head back again and looped his leg around her leg.

Cassidy used her other leg to kick him in the knee making him buckle and realese her. When he did this she would turn swiftly around and kick him over to his stomach.

Conner fell to his stomach but not before catching her foot and dragging her down with him.

Cassidy fell to the ground on her side she sat up and put him in a sleepers hold sitting on his back.

Conner rammed his head backwards and arched his back upwards causing her to tumble forward.

Cassidy tumbled forward landing on her butt and then began laughing as he now earned her respect for keeping up with her in hand to hand combat. She would have won with ease but she let it go.

Connor Pyrogen

Conner laughed as well as he sat up walking over to her holding out his hand to help her up. His nose still bleeding. "You are the most dysfunctional arrogant insanely violent women I fucking know." He smiled.

Cassidy Pyro SaintClaire

Cassidy took his hand with a smirk "Sounds about right." She laughs "And your the most idiotic, know-it-all, annoying, unintelligent immature fucking prick I know." She smiled back as he helped her up. She nodded in approval.

Connor Pyrogen

Conner smiled and nods back at her. "Sounds about right." He said slyly happy he had won her approval.

Ancel had begun to feel movement on the ground. It was hard for him to explain but he was starting to feel movement of others threw the earth its self. As he fallowed Kya trail it began to grow he became more and more aware of every touch every step on the ground. It grew remarkably to him from animals to the wind simply blowing the trees, he could feel it all he could sense it all. He didn’t fully understand it at first it came threw at a lot of noise to put into words. But as he came closer to Kya it changed to him understanding it all. What had been a cluster of noise had turned into soft sounds almost like music to him.

With Ancel learning his power at a remarkable rate he managed to catch up to Kya rather quickly just as the gun shoot rang out. Ancel pushed up against a tree and peeked around to catch Kya high in a tree and a new stranger speaking up to her. Ancel continued to look around spotting a glimpse of the guards. “Can’t I get a break here? Guards all around, Kya is in a tree, and now this other girl.” He whispered lightly to himself. “Calm down think you’ve been through this before.” Ancel slowed his breathing and looked at the tree Kya was in. “first things first.” Ancel closed his eyes and focused on the tree. “Still part of the Earth right?” he thought to himself. A branch of the tree slowly moved not making a sound as it wrapped around to tap Kya on the shoulder and point towards were Ancel had stood.

Cassidy walked over to Destin at this point and looked at the reality and then at him. "You always were gifted." She told him she sighed "Your power will return. Give it time." She tells him confidently. She then looked down and then at the path that lead out of the camp. She used Eagle eye to see the Path both Ancel and Kya traveled in and then looked at Destin. She opened her mouth wanting to say something immediately but suddenly closed it obviously deciding better of it. She turned to follow the path Ancel and Kya traveled down using her eagle eye to see the path they both took. She heard crows which was a curious matter but ignored them making her way down the path. She still had her pack and inside it was Kya's yellow flats. She found them by her crystal coffin and had forgotten to return them to her. Looking at the rocky path and thinking how the girls feet must be hurting she remembered the shoes in her pack and quickened her pace to find the girl. The path was long and it seemed she was walking more then a long while before she found the three. She looked at Kya scaling the tree silently. She scale the tree perching her self on the branch above her she handed the girl the yellow shoes "Thought you may need these." She said them on the branch and then jumping down from the tree landing in a catstance she looked at the new person and Ancel and nodded at them both in a way of greeting. At this point she heard shuffling and talking in the distance and she walked to the source of the sound. Keeping her footsteps silent and her body low to the ground like a predator would when stalking there prey. She saw the burned village sneaking to a nearby bush so she could better hear the words being said. She had gone unnoticed as she creeped closer. She smelled ash and saw the wall and the dead body. Her eyes narrowed her eyes orange once more in anger at the soldiers remembering her men burning in the flames of her enemy and the Destin exploding. She clenched her jaw and balled her fists trying to calm down when the Nightmare reared its ugly head. The damned creature revealing the war again urging her to fight and kill them all and in return get herself killed. She closed her eyes as if to hide from the illusion and then she opened them. Her eyes glowed a bright vibrant orange and her nose began to bleed her head spinning the illusion disappeared the nightmare seemed to be wounded and it quickly ran off. With that she quickly and silently made her way back to everyone her nose still bleeding she shakes her head not offering a word as she quickly makes her way past them and back to the camp. As she enters the campsite her nose still bleeding, her vision blurred and her head spinning. She grips the wall for support and walks slowly and sluggishly. She finally gets to the Fortress Ancel created and she slowly enters it her mind now spinning violently. She gripped the wall sliding down it so she was sitting down. She cursed herself for over exerting her powers. The nightmare had followed her and was now creating viloent illusions in anger at her. It was showing her a false past of Destin screaming out her name exploding as he begs her for help then the sage guides bringing him back telling her she would die for her sins as Destin came back he chocked her angrily screaming that she had failed him and she had killed all there men. This time however Cassidy thought it was real. She cried and begged for forgiveness fighting against the illusion. Confessing everything about her fate and future. How she was to die when this war was over and how she would join her men.
((I was in the mood to be dramatic......))

"...Are you quite alright?" a calm, cautious voice said below Kya the moment she had finished her apple. Scared to see whether or not it was a soldier, Kya gripped the tree tightly, and slowly lowered her head. To her relief, it was just a woman who had the appearence of a kangaroo. Judging from her weapons, Kya had a feeling this woman was a freedom fighter.

"I...I'm fine....I just..." It was at that moment Kya felt a rough tap on her shoulder. It was a tree branch, poking her as though it were a hand. Kya looked down to see Ancel just below her. The girl's face turned white with shock and embarassment. The last thing she wanted was people following her. Unfortunately, Cassidy was there as well. She handed Kya something in her hand. "Thought you may need these." she said, handing her the yellow flats she had abandoned in her chamber. "Th-thanks...." Kya said reluctantly. When Cassidy was gone, did she go and retrieve Kya's shoes? Although Kya hated to admit it, she was hoping to have her shoes back. She silently slipped them on. The feeling in her feet was weird and foreign to her. It was almost like stepping in jelly.

Once Cassidy was gone, she floated down to Ancel and the kangaroo woman. "Anceeeeel," Kya whined, "why'dja hafta follow me??" She facepalmed and sighed as she spoke. After a few seconds of silence, Kya looked back towards the kangaroo woman. "Ma'am, please don't head in that direction," she pointed towards where the wall used to be before it turned invisible again. "It's... it's a trap...."

Knowing Ancel's style of wanting to approach things that caught his attention, Kya quickly gripped his forearm and pulled him towards the forest. She didn't want him to know about the guards just yet. "Goodbye!" she said to the lady before she entered through the trees with Ancel.

"Look," she started as they walked, "I'll tell you what happpened later.....it's kinda important..." Suddenly, Kya looked up at the sky. "Damn, i wish Destin was here. I just felt a raindrop...."

Ancel looked up to the sky seeing the first rain drop drip down onto the ground. He was silent for a short moment as he simply stared up at the sky. He was getting use to his new found ability and the rain drops beging to tap on the ground could still be felt by him, it was relaxing in a way. He shook his head and snapped out of the trance he had slowly drifted into and stamped his foot on the ground. The moment he did so an umbrella shot up from out of the ground and into his hand. The umbrella was of course made of stone and wasn’t the lightest of objects by far and it had no way to close but it would do what it was meant to. He gave her a smile and held it over her head. “You know you should tell the rest of us if you’re going to run off like that. I couldn’t forgive myself if one of you died when I could have prevented it.”

Ancel was fully aware of the guards walking around though the only other person who would know he had this ability would have been Cassidy do to her, in a strange way, helping him find it. They were all over the place and he knew there locations. Each step they took he could feel with ease. “We should leave now before we start to attract any attention.” The rain started up stronger as it fell down onto Ancels head. He didn’t seem to mind the rain in the least if anything he seemed more mellowed by it then anything.
