a character in “Lunar Grace”, as played by Sneakyrio

Description

Codename: Poseidon

Real Name: Trenton Mare

Gender: Male

Age: 28

Description: Trenton is a rather gruff looking tall man with a large build. He is 6' 5" weighing in at about 230lbs. He has long messy brown hair that doesn't seem to stay in one place. He also has a short scruffy looking beard that he doesn't ever really feel the need to shave. His eyes are a sharp green. They look jaded, as if he is very tired, but don't be fooled, there is fire behind those eyes. When angered, it is hard not see the fury in his eyes. He always dresses casual formal, being prepared for any situation.
Image

Personality

Personality: He comes off as a very calm, almost lazy sort of person. He usually has a look of a cool frown. Usually displaying little emotion. He speaks fairly slow, but not deliberate, just casual. He sometimes slurs his words and speaks with slang on occasion. Even with his calm demeanor, he has a wicked temper. Trenton is actually very easily annoyed and angered, letting very small things get to him. He tries to ignore or swat away things that annoy him, but things that anger him, he tends to obliterate. A car for example, say the car he's driving stalls or gets a flat or runs out of gas. In a flare of anger, he met have the earth swallow the car up. He's the kind of guy who will destroy you if you piss him off, but he'll feel bad about it later.

Equipment

Equipment: (in this section there are two subsections)
Powers:He commands the sea and the earth. He can basically control water(plus the sea as a whole) and make earthquakes. His physical prowess has also been increased exponentially, being far stronger and tougher than any human could hope to be. Compared to other gods, he is not truly stronger physically than really any of them. His mass transit works different ways depending on where he is and where he's going. If he is on the ground going from one place to another, he dissolves into water. Then, the ground rumbles where he is going to appear and a geyser shoots from the broken earth. The mist then swirls into his form. If he is appearing on top of a building, then his body turns into a torrent of water that shoots into the clouds, then smashes back down on top of the building and the swirling waters form into him. If it is near the ocean, he just jumps into the ocean, dissolving and reappears after a large wave laps onto the shore. He is always wet after his transit, not soaked, but wet.

Equipment: Once they find a Hephaestus, then he is going to get his Triton. But, for now, he has been using a large hook as a weapon. He thought it would be.....appropriate.

History

History: Trenton was born into a Naval family. He was raised with discipline and was treated like one of his fathers soldiers. This made Trenton very bitter towards his father and life in general. He spent most of his younger years training at a Naval academy, the same one his father went to when he was his age. He had a real attitude problem and was beaten and reprimanded many times. but, due to his fathers influence, was never kicked out. He hated it there and was determined to be bitter and moody. The only solace he got was his fishing trips with his grandfather. He would spend all day out on the open ocean, from dawn till dusk. All day, he and his grandfather would deep sea fish all day and gaze at the stars all night. When Trenton was 15, his Grandfather developed stage four cancer, it was in his bones and there was nothing anyone could do to save him. He died not long after Trenton graduated from his academy and was enrolled in the Navy Seals training regiment.

When Trenton was 17 and was on radar duty on the Air-force carrier he was serving on, he decided to take out his Grandfathers telescope and look at the stars in his memory. For some reason, the moon was incredibly big that night......almost unnaturally so. He ended up staring at it for a few hours and heard some odd static from the radar........after that, everything changed.

He was discharged from the Navy with a Section 8 and was ostracized from his family. He ended up becoming a crab fisher in Alaska, feeling like that there was some thing out there he needed to find. Once, when he had just come back to shore after a few months out at sea, he found what he was looking for, another. He joined up with him and they eventually recruited a third. They now stand on the precipice of change, and a slew of new faces to babysit.

So begins...

Ryan scowled as he waited for Desmond to get his lazy backside into the dining room. It was bad enough that he had to stay here again for a while. But not even bothering to get here on time? Ryan was seriously considering transiting back to his apartment. But that would not go down well, plus, he wasn't the only one in the room. Trenton was here as well, standing on only a few feet away from him. They didn't talk, but then again, Ryan wasn't exactly inviting. He prefered not talking anyway. Being on his own suited him just fine. "I'm gonna have to try harder to stay away from this place," he thought to himself, "Especially now it's gonna get more crowded..."

Ryan didn't see the point in all this. But what Desmond says, goes. And, although he didn't want to, he was forced to stay here for a bit. To welcome the newcomers or something like that...
"Pah, as if I can be welcoming. Hello, I'm Hades! God of death! How depressing is that? They all might as we-"
Ryan thoughts were interrupted by the sudden ping of an elevator. "Finally!" Ryan said, aloud this time, "Time to get this started."

Trenton was leaned back in one of the many leather bound chairs in the Dining room. His feet were up on the table and his hands behind his head and a dead cigarillo in his mouth. He had been waiting there for the better part of the day with Ryan, his broody comrade. Trenton didn't mind though, he was feeling very patient today. He liked feeling patient, because patience most of the time means all you have to do is sit around and wait. Which Trenton was just fine with. Though, the waiting seemed longer with Ryan's typical silent treatment. He never understood why he was so bitter. Trenton was nothing but nice to the guy, but he just sits there in broody silence.

Trenton brought his left wrist up to his face to check the time. The watch he was wearing was a gift from Desmond. It was a very unusual watch. Instead of just telling the time, it depicted seasons and current shifts through constellations. He thought it was appropriate for Poseidon to know what was going on in his domain. After a few years of practice with it, he can read it like no one else can and depict the time from it. Trenton then noticed his cigarillo was out. He whipped out his silver lighter and re-lit it, taking a large puff from it. The lighter was also a gift from Desmond. It was made of sterling silver and on one side engraved on it was two tritons crossing a horse head surrounded in sea foam. The other side had words engraved in ancient greek. It simply read, "Poseidon King of the Sea and My Dear Friend." Trenton had always been a little touched by it. Zeus, Poseidon and Hades were brothers and Trenton had felt that in the past few years, they sort of had bonded into brothers. Better brothers than the Original Big Three were anyway. Sure Hades was a little cold, but he was never an out right dick to everyone. He was just.....anti-social.

He put his lighter away and glanced over to Ryan. It's not like the two didn't like each other, they just didn't really talk. They were better off than Desmond and Ryan, that's for freaking sure. He had always found that giving people space when they obviously want it can only have a good outcome. So that's what he did, he gave Ryan his space. He talked to him occasionally and that wasn't so bad, as long as the space in-between talks were rather large. Desmond called Trenton patient, he just called himself lazy.

He took a few puffs on his chocolate and sex flavored cigarillo and had decided to say something to Ryan. That was until he heard the familiar tone of the executive elevator dinging. "He's here." Trenton said casually in the direction of Ryan. He had expressed his relief of Desmond's arrival through his usual display of annoyance. Trenton simply nodded at getting this thing started. He took a few more puffs and thought about all of the new of their kind they were going to create to day. He knew most of their faces, after all he had kidnapped....oops, Desmond didn't like that word, Relocated, half of them to Olympus Towers himself. That muscle head guy was heavy, even in transit.

"I mean really, we can’t all be gods all the time you know.” Oh, how close Ryan came to punching Desmond for that comment, "As if I want to be a god all the time, As if I want to constantly be kept awake by the voices of the dead, AS IF I WANT TO BE THE GOD OF FRIKIN DEATH AND DARKNESS!" He clenched his fist and stopped himself from saying that aloud, "Calm down, Ryan, He ju- Oh no, he's going into his humanity needs us speech again, make it stop!"

And then suddenly, it did, Desmond turned around and started "summoning" the guests "Show off, you could of just went down and asked, but nooooo! You had to amaze them with your awesome power!" Ryan could be very sarcastic, even in his thoughts.
“You’re right Hades… it is time we got this started.” Desmond said, after calling all the guests names.

"Bout time" Ryan muttered back, not loud enough for Desmond to hear.

Dante/Tisiphoné

Dante looked at Ryan at the sound of his laugh, smiling wryly when he said "Deluded? Possibly, but then again, if you think we're deluded why are you staying here? Only the mad hang around with the deluded..." Then she actually considered his question. It certainly seemed plausible that she was indeed going mad, but she rather thought she'd stayed because well... it didn't seem she had a choice.

"Well... after the door electrocuted me, I must admit, I made the assumption that I didn't really have much of a choice in the matter. Besides..." she then added, "I like the view." At the last bit her emerald eyes locked on Poseidon and a little, alluring smile appeared on her lips.

Aeryn/Athena

Aeryn cocked an eyebrow at Ryan's statement, then looked to Dante at her reply. That girl is gonna be trouble, she thought, looking Dante up and down. I wonder what god she is in this little game... As Aeryn was unable to see Dante's nameplate, she decided she'd have to wait and see what happened. Then she looked to Ryan again, ignoring Dante.

"Maybe I am mad, I've certainly thought it a possibility. Though my experience is that madness happens over times, and I've yet to be diagnosed with anything." She smiled at him, eyes calm and wondrous. "The thing is, however, at this point whether or not we are mad, is irrelevant. You're the men in power here, are you not?" she asked, looking from Hades to Poseidon, then finally resting her eyes on Zeus.

When Hades subsequently asked the question she'd unknowingly been dying to hear, "Do you want proof?", she smiled and looked at him once more. "I'd love a little bit of proof, honestly." As she said it, she realized this was it. This was the final drop of her figuring out what all of this was about. Can it be he's really a god? she wondered, her gaze turning just a little bit eager, very subtle... hardly noticeable actually.

"Bastard, that was uncalled for." he heard someone speak up and looked to her, his smug smile was gone, he’d been play acting like an ass but now he had stood, he whipped his hands with his napkin and tossed it to the ground , the metaphorical gloves were off. “Believe me; it was very called for…” he said smoothly with a blank face he glanced at those around the room and looked to the first to stand, Tisiphoné, who was rather perturbed. That was to be expected.

“After all it’s not my power I was showing, it was yours…” he blankly gave a slight explanation though he had to expand on it, “That bolt would have fired any human to a crisp, literally burning through their skin and bones… yet look at you…” He pointed to the hole in her jacket, “Look at that hole, your jacket is leather correct? Yet not only are you still alive but there isn’t’ a scratch on you. As I said; it’s not my power was shown here but yours.”

She continued to rage and began storming away making Zeus rub the bridge of his nose, "I'm leaving. You can find your Tisiphoné or whatever elsewhere, 'cause I'm not it." she got to the door and it was unlocked though Zeus called after here, “You don’t have a choice here… none of us do…”

He glanced to Poseidon and sighed, heading over to where he could gaze out at the night sky from the balcony but was still visible from the table. “You’re welcome to leave miss, I have no intention of forcing any of you to stay, but you can’t escape from the facts here…” he turned to her and looked more annoyed now, “Believe me, these powers are a gift from fate not me, do you really think that I’d chose a bunch of people who are barely out of college to hold limitless power? You were a god before you ever walked in here and even if you walk out now you’ll still be a god. The codes were buried in each of you for months, maybe years, I only activated them. ”

He returned to the head of the table and sat back down, he was sure there was more conflict to come, personalities like those gathered here were bound to cause issue. He’d just awoken godly strength, speed, and powers in them all. Who knew how they would cope. He looked to Tisiphoné again, “If you want to go home then just focus on your house and go there…” he said cryptically, knowing doing so would instigate her transit.

Athena

As Zeus put Athena to sleep, her body readily, almost eagerly advanced into slumber, and following the help of Poseidon, her body relaxed, her muscles unclenched, and her hands fell onto the floor. A peaceful smile now lightened up her delicate pixieface, her entire demeanor more relaxed than ever, single strands of blonde, straight hair falling onto her cheeks.

After a couple of peaceful moments, Athena opened her eyes, blinking against the harsh light of the ceilinglamps. She still felt a subtle throbbing in her head after the agonizing moments that had felt like days. Being the first of the gods to really begin her transformation, she was also the first to awaken. Earlier events forgotten for the span of a millisecond, Athena looked perplexed, before a look of calm, both in her face, her eyes, and her demeanor overtook her. Knowledge had swamped her entire being during her transformation, and as she just now found out... her thoughts weren't slow and time-consuming. Actually, they passed by at the speed of light, though she easily managed them. Sitting up, her gaze found Zeus, and she smiled, a knowing, relaxed smile. She even knew how all of her powers worked. Just like that. Without thinking or trying, Athena had complete control.

She then stood up, looking at everyone else who were still in the process of changing. The beautiful Aphrodite, Ares who was looking more or less monstrous, Artemis (her mind gave her the names matching everyone), Apollo and then sweet Persephone. She even knew their real, human names... how, she wasn't clear on just yet, but she suspected it had to do with Athena being the Goddess of Wisdom. She just hadn't known the true extent of her knowledge until now. Glancing at Zeus once more, she asked the question that had been on her mind for a while, though she'd had trouble sorting it out properly. And I was considered a genious among humans. How... interesting.

"How did you know how to find us? I know who you are... all of you, which is a little weird. Knowing the names of people I have no memory of meeting." She smiled, casting glances at both Poseidon and Hades before returning her gaze to Zeus. "And I have a pretty decent idea of the why. But what I fail to comprehend, is the how." Though her eyes were pretty much sparkling with intelligence, she hadn't lost her curious glint. The whole foundation of the human she'd been a couple of minutes ago.

(Guess she'll be waking up AFTER Poseidon and Zeus comes back inside. xD I just saw Poseidon's post. Woopsy.)

Poseidon stood there staring at Zeus, looking rather impatient. His brown hair blew widely in the spring wind, his green eyes glistening. Then, Zeus lost his posture and looked tired all of a sudden. He leaned against the railing and go that look on his face. That face was the real Desmond, no pompous Zeus who saw everyone as a means to an end. Genuine concern came over Desmond's face.....almost guilt, when he began to explain his reasoning behind why he had said what he had said. “It’s an effort to prevent them getting too familiar with one another and to remind them they have responsibilities now…” Desmond glanced down at the city glumly, “We don’t know how relation between two of us will work out, nor do we know if it’s even possible. More over there is an issue with the plan and everyone getting too friendly.” Trenton thought about it for a moment and began to settle down, realizing the truth in his friends words. He looked past Desmond and saw the moon beginning to rise.

Trenton walked over to his friend and leaned his back against the railing, facing opposite from Desmond. He pulled out a normal cigarette, stuck it in his mouth and lit it. He took a big drag and puffed it out. Desmond began to speak again. “It’s not beyond the possibility that they may be forced to bring one another down at some point, for the good of mankind and all, so it would be better if we tried to avoid getting overly attached to one another… after all you and I already know that we may have to kill each other eventually. I figure not letting them know one another's name is less of a harsh reality.” Desmond then glanced over at him. "You disapprove?" Trenton took another drag on his cigarette, the glanced over at him. It was quiet for a time. "No. If worst comes to worse, it would be a kindness, it's true. Though, it would be nice to let them know a little happiness before that day comes." Trenton said in a very neutral tone. "But, the deed is done." Trenton then turned fully to face his friend.

"Desmond......your my oldest friend. Your also the best friend Ive ever had. I hope that day never comes. But know, that if it comes, I will do what is necessary." He said, his face turning rather serious at the end. "And I pray for all of our sakes, that you will too." Trenton said looking Desmond square in the eye. His face then turned more casual and he leaned against the railing as well. Trenton simply waited for Desmond to say they should go back. He enjoyed the bracing evening air, and the smell of the Atlantic.

Poseidon looked about the about the apartment with a look he had used too many times for someone his age. "Damn it." He said simply. It seems her power had fully awoken and had decided to start spreading anarchy. Fantastic, if Poseidon didn't get her under control, he would have to kill her. Poseidon had never liked to do it, but he had done it before......and he knew he would do it again. Hopefully, not tonight, though. His number one priority was finding Tisiphone and calming her down before she did any real damage. Poseidon closed his eyes and tried to read for her code. He could find lingering traces of it all around the city he was in.....wherever it was. He then felt a massive spike in code energy. "There.....an island? Bad choice." he said with a slight smile on. He then dissolved into the floor.

The ocean around the small island she was on swirled and boiled. Then, several cyclones of water shot out of the sea and all merged in the air. They all combined into one cyclone and shot completely straight down, eroding the ground beneath. As the water died out, Poseidon came walking briskly out of it, shedding layers of water like skin. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a cigarette. He put it in his mouth and lit it, then looked around. The ground was shaking, he then spotted Tisiphone. He walked towards and stopped a few yards away. "Hey, Tisiphone. Stop what whatever your doing right now and calm down. We have to talk. I'm asking you right now, please. Trust me, you don't want to see me telling you. So, we gonna talk?" He said taking a puff on cigarette.

Tisiphoné

After a little while, Poseidon finally answered her:"Well.......I suppose I could stand to get to know you a little better." His voice hinted at something she couldn't quite detect, but she had a feeling it was just as naughty as her thoughts. He'll end up driving me crazy... well... more crazy, anyways. She smiled, feeling satisfied. He hadn't left, which was a definite notion that he'd probably not intended to in the first place. Wait... he's playing with me? she almost laughed out loud as it occurred to her and Poseidon threw his cigarette into the sand. She wasn't sure why, but she liked it. Sort of liked it that he didn't just take her bullshit meekly. Should've suspected it, her inner voice peeped, he's a powerful god after all.

Then suddenly she was in his arms, without balance as he leaned her into a slightly slanting position and looked her in the eyes, green against emerald, just as her tsunami started to pick up. She secretly smiled inwardly and wound her arms around his neck, attempting some sort of balance. she suspected that Poseidon had figured out what she'd been doing by now... since the sea was his thing and all. If he stops it, I am so not sleeping with him, she stated, still looking at him as the wave bent over them. Then he... lifted his hand and parted it into two, and as it started spreading around the Island, her mind panicked for a second, as she knew how much she needed the chaos the tsunami would provide. Her strength was already starting to lessen.

Some people had obviously seen the wave part however, and their panic washed a wave of power over her, relaxing her once more. They didn't entirely evaporate however; she could feel that large waves lapsed against the island, so she raised an eyebrow at Poseidon, her power building gradually due to the panic and chaos consuming the Island. She almost moaned in bliss, until she realized Poseidon was still holding her, still looking at her. She had a strange feeling he was gauging her reaction, judging it.

"Job well done. You've cause mass panic and looting without hundreds of people dieing. You're doing your job right." he then said, teaching her, and she snorted thinking smartass, not able to keep the sound from coming. "Oh honeeyy, you shouldn't have!" she then said in her best fake "I just got a diamond necklace from my boyfriend who I don't like, but am dating for his dough, and I so deserve this necklace, but I have to act like it wouldn't matter"-voice.

She started to hear whispered voices in the background, just as Poseidon looked up and snapped his fingers. Not able to look, because of her current position, which she didn't feel like leaving, she waited until he, bingo, looked back at her. She granted him another alluring, sexy smile, coupled with her gaze, her flirtatious eyes still glittering slightly from her powerboost. I will not kiss him, I will not kiss him, I will not kiss him... she chanted in her head just as he added the sentence: "So, you want to get out of here?"

She laughed softly, twirling a strand of his hair in the neck around her right indexfinger. She was in no hurry, she actually rather enjoyed this little sparring-session they'd shared, and she knew it'd probably end once they'd had sex. Don't get too fond of him. Fuck him and forget him. That's what they do, that's what you'll do. She then looked from his lips to his eyes, a casual yet interested look in her eyes, deciding to tease him a little more until she'd gotten her shit straight. "Why?" she said in mock surprise and horror, her eyes widening. Still playing the part, she then added, "where would we go? A fun party, perhaps? With ponies and princesses?" Her voice was light and playful, mimicking the voice of a ten year old little girl, her eyes sporting a glint of humor along with everything else.

Poseidon heard a muffled tapping. Almost like someone was tapping on a fish bowl. His eyes slowly opened, standing in front of him, upside down, was Jordan. He smiled his typical smile, banged once more on the glass separating them, and made a motion towards his wristwatch. Poseidon simply nodded, then swam up to the top of the tank and unsealed the magnets that were locking the top in place. He then crawled out of the large tank stark naked and landed on the ground. No, Trenton didn't normally sleep in the tank. He had a room and a bed and he liked. The only times Trenton ended up in the tank is when he can't sleep. He has slept in the tank for the past 3 days. Everywhere he goes, he can hear the ocean. He can smell it and hear the creatures of the deep and the movements of tectonic plates. Along with night terrors he occasionally suffers, it's rather hard for him to get a good night's sleep. Though, over the years he's gotten used to it and he barely even notices it now. Recently though, his dreams have been getting worse, and after last nights failure with Tisiphone, he had simply crawled into the tank.

Poseidon made a simple motion with his hands and all of the water was completely off of him. Jordan smiled at him. "Thought you were here. Your prescence is required at breakfast, and your rather late." Poseidon just stared at him for a bit, then it seemed the light was turned on. "Oh right, the training. I'll be up there in a minute, thanks Jordan." Poseidon had said, still sounding groggy. He patted him on the arm before walking to the clothes he kept in this room. "No problem Trenton." with that, he left. Trenton looked over his clothes, then just threw some on. He threw on a pale blue muscle tee and black track pants. No shoes or socks or sandals. He then walked over to the mini-fridge hidden behind the dresser. He opened it and inside was a couple of gallon containers with clear liquids in them. Each bottle had the word "Nectar" crudely written on them in sharpie. Trenton grabbed one and opened the cap. He then downed almost a quarter of it. "Pure grade ethanol, breakfast of champions." He said to himself. He then re-capped it, put it back in the fridge and moved the dresser back.

He then cracked his neck and other body parts a few times, then dissolved. Outside of the dining room, one of the fire sprinklers goes off and the water reforms into him. The alarm did not go off. He didn't feel like being flashy at this moment, so he decided to just walk into breakfast. Poseidon then pushed open the door and walked in with his usual expression on his face. He glanced over and saw Tisiphone, more accurately, her outfit. In his mind he simply said Oh fuck you. He was contemplating telling her that Zeus had said he didn't want him getting close to the others and that's why he had acted that way. Though, he had decided to maybe save it for later. He walked across the room and said in a sort of monotone. "Morning Apollo, Artemis, Persephone, Tisiphone, Athena." He said nodding to each one of them. He then took his seat and picked up the paper waiting for him there. He then looked up at them, seeing as they were looking at him expectantly. His looked confused, then the light bulb popped up. "Oh, right, the training thing. I keep forgetting. No Zeus?" He said looking over to Jordan, he simply shook his head. "Just me then. Right well, I'm going to be taking you to the mountains where I will be putting you through some training." He folded the paper and stood up. "I'll explain more once we're up there." He said looking around, he then noticed they were missing Ares and Aphrodite. He closed his eyes and sensed for them. Ares was still asleep in his room, the physical change would take a long time after all. But Aphrodite definitely not in the building, or the city, or the state.....not even the country? He expanded his senses and when he found her, he nearly slapped himself. Paris......of course. He opened his eyes again. "One moment, it seems we have a truant. Won't be too long." His body turned back intot the trademark water torrent and flew into the sky.

He landed on top of the Arch De Triumph, completely invisible to all humans. He looked around the city to try and spot her. He found her in a sports car yelling at the top of her lungs like a teenage girl. He sighed, "I thought she was going to be one of the docile ones." He shook his head and turned into water again. This time, appeared sitting cross legged behind where Aphrodite and the human were sitting in the two seater car. Though he was sitting on top of the car, he seemed perfectly balanced even thought the speed of the car was great. He was invisible to all the humans, but Aphrodite simply hadn't noticed him yet. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it. He gave it a few puffs then spoke. "Normally I wouldn't care what you do on your off time, but now is not your off time. We have some pretty important things to do today."

Aphrodite was having a blast! After the two ate a light lunch near the Eiffel tower, they drove around the countryside, briefly. The air was mild and fine causing her to breathe in it's freshness, pleasingly. This time though, Aphrodite's senses were heightened causing her nostrils to sniff more accurately.... Budding flowers and blooming trees.... Freshly cut grass and water rippling in the breeze.... The smell of the.... Sun? It was kind of odd of her to smell such a thing but she did since her nose felt... clearer. It smelled just as she predicted it; molting rock, charred with constant fire (that was the best way she could describe it's smell). It smelled like a massive, how could she say it, "bonfire" that continued to burn steadily, lightening up the solar system and keeping the world brightly lit.... She still had a sense of dread in the back of her mind as if the world was in impending danger, coming to an immediate end... Why did the thought keep switching back in her mind?... Was the world really coming to an end?

"Aimez-vous la campagne? Je l'aime tout simplement! (Do you like the countryside? I just love it!)", the young man spoke up to her as he made another sharp turn around a greenery bend. Aphrodite cast her gaze slowly back to him, slowly snapping out of her wonderful yet strangely reverie, "C'est beau ... Je n'ai jamais été à la campagne de France avant. Je vous remercie de me prendre pour le (It's beautiful... I never been to France's countryside before. Thank you for taking me to it)", replying with impeccable french. She really didn't notice to see him secretly double taking glances at her, even though she sensed it, but continued to ignore it. He really did fancy her! Aphrodite, on the other hand, wasn't really feeling him, again wanting something more realistic. Aphrodite sighed at that and continued to daydream as they made it back to Paris with little time.... Suddenly, her senses started to act up, knowing the Parisian environment was disturbed.

Not in a bad way but with an impatiently hurried aura. From the corner of her left eye, she saw a watery figure materialize on top of the Arch De Triumph. No one else noticed it even her escort was oblivious to it. She then knew it was one of the head gods fetching for her, trying to retrieve her back to the Olympus towers. Who was it? Zeus? No, he was too busy keeping things together.... Was it Hades? Hell no! He would've been too impatient to deal with the situation, amusingly... Or was it Poseidon? Yes! It was him, seeing that he wanted everyone to stay together. Aphrodite sighed depressingly for the little oasis time she had felt....human, was coming to an end, realizing that humans really did have it easy. But it wasn't just the easiness that they had, it was the precious time they treasured as a human.... Suddenly Poseidon appeared on top of the car, he not affected by it's massive speed. Aphrodite didn't notice that he appeared all too quickly until he lit a cigarette and spoke up, "Normally, I wouldn't care what you do on your off time, but now is not your off time. We have some pretty important things to do today....", he nonchalantly told her.

He took a long drag of his cigarette and exhaled. Aphrodite crossed her arms, trying to keep her temper in check, "I suppose I have interrupted everyone's time....", she coolly replied, instantly snapping them both in one of Paris' famous garden parks: Champ de Mars. Knowing Poseidon wasn't affected too much by the transition, Aphrodite bent down, picking up a white rose that bloomed before her eyes, "And I guess that I shouldn't be wasting your precious time as well", she added, secretly being sarcastic, a little annoyed that she had to be taken back. Still deep within in her, Aphrodite wanted to leave the god-forsaken Olympus towers, wanting "human" normalcy....but something much more bigger held her back as she was repeatedly reminded that she had a loyal impending duty to do. She couldn't bale out and strip her title just for her own personal gain seeing that the world needed a goddess like her to help take care of it. No other god or goddess, personally, had the loving and caring skill that she had, doing a hell of a better job tending to it and giving humans a chance to speak and have a voice.

To put it simply, Aphrodite had a large part and responsibility for earth, Zeus knowing all too well the fact. Aphrodite slowly and gracefully stood straight up, putting her focus solely onto him, "How are you dealing with Tisiphoné?... I know she can be quite a handful....", she commented, knowingly, on the two and their little budding tryst together. After all Aphrodite was well knowledged and quite masterful in the realm of personal relationships. But concerning the two of them, this seemed to stem solely out of pure impulse and lust. She really didn't like lustful liaisons and never dabbled into it's profession but there was something, maybe, a little more growing between the two, fully knowing a head of time how it was to commence fatefully. "Let us go back before the others start to...."miss" us", she then let Poseidon transition them both back to the towers. It was kind of strange, having water surround Aphrodite making her completely drenching wet but she dealt and bore with it. Instantaneously, the both of them were back where they needed to be, sitting at their respectful seats at the table.

Thank goodness she didn't stay wet for too long, she completely dry and unaffected by the watery transit. This time she was in her expected attire: a simple white sports bra, sporty shorts that were too short, and silver sports sneakers. Her platinum blonde hair was still in its silver hair-clipped slicked back ponytail. Aphrodite looked around the room to see most of the gods there; they were all, possibly, talking amongst themselves to one another.

Aphrodite sat back in her designated ornately platinum designed seat, clasping her hands together with the white rose, patiently, "Would you like something to eat?", one of the servants asked her, secretly coming behind her. Aphrodite didn't turn her head around, speaking to her as if she were face-to-face with her, "No.... I'm perfectly fine. In fact, your relieved of me", simply replying as the servant nodded and went her way. She continued to watch everyone somewhat bored out of her mind.

"I suppose I have interrupted everyone's time...."Poseidon calmly nodded his head. "Sort of, yeah. Your a Goddess now so we need to use our time wisely." She then transited them to a park. He let her do this, seeing no harm in it. She had bent down and had picked up a white rose. He seemed to be sitting on a park bench, still smoking. She seemed to be rather upset that she wouldn't be allowed to do anything she wanted. So far she was coming off as a little spoiled. "And I guess that I shouldn't be wasting your precious time as well" Poseidon just looked at her after the sarcastic remrk. Is she a fucking teenager? I had calmly explained that I needed her today and now she's acting like I just told her that "There was no time for such frivolous things as love!" Like I was the mean step-father and she's some princess! Poseidon actually found it rather humorous, actually and he started laughing. "Hahahahahaha! You are a piece a work." He said with a soft smile on his face. Even though he was still in his twenties, he felt so old. Especially around fledgling Gods. She turned around and looked at him. "How are you dealing with Tisiphoné?... I know she can be quite a handful....", At that, Poseidon stopped laughing, but the smile never left his lips. He mimicked being hit in the stomach. "Ouch! That was a low blow, Ditey. I'm not 'handling' her. She's a big girl and can take care of herself. She just needs some guidance.....all of you do." He said explicitly making his statement obvious. "Let us go back before the others start to...."miss" us" Poseidon stood and mocked a bow. "By your leave, milady." Poseidon said in a mocking tone. Water then shot around them and they then ended up in their proper seats back at the tower.

Poseidon was standing when he got back. "OK, now that that is dealt with, it's time to move along. Let's go!" Poseidon called out to the room. It was good to see that Aphrodite had changed into something sportier. Suddenly, the sprinklers in the room went off and water began to surround them, then engulf them. They would all swirl around in the water for a time, before the water would be pulled away, like a blanket being pull off of someone. They would then be all standing on different points yet relatively near each other on a beautiful mountain range, watching a newly risen sun. "Welcome to the training grounds!" Poseidon called out to all of them from the highest point. "Here, is where we use our powers without hesitation! We do this, so we can find out what your limits are! I would like you all to try to do specific things you believe you should have to power to do. From earthquakes to making animals fall in love to bringing forth spring a thousand times over. You can all do things others can't, we also all share abilities, such as the Mass Transit. Along with Mortal Ignorance, where they can't see us. They're are some humans about but they won't be able to be influenced by any destruction we make......however. You can influence them a number of ways! Do what you will! I won't stop you! I will tell you when to stop and then we can move on! Have fun!"
