The rest of the night and morning was - uneventful - as usual. Besides the fact Emerson was late for school yet again ..
Well, everything was normal. Emmy then opened the door to classroom Fifty something, and saw Yuki there, with a guy.
Thoughts came over her like a wave.
"Wha- oh .." this was the Literature club. Now she remembered. "Yuki! Hi!" Emmy pulled off her surprise, and took a step forward, realizing she was interrupting a conversation.. "Um, who's this?" she decided to change the topic ..

"Um.."
She recognized the book the guy was holding. Though she hadn't read it. Literature club .. Never something I'd be involved in ... Emmy erased the thought from her mind.. She wasn't an English fan at all .. No, science was her thing.

"Well, I can't say I've ever heard of that book," Kyon muttered slowly. "I assume it's about...well, spying, I would imagine?" It probably wasn't his kind of book, anyway. Whenever Kyon would read anything, it was generally science fiction, or nonfiction related to science (not that Kyon was hugely interested in science, but he would be lying if he said it wasn't all very fascinating to him). For a moment, there was a silence, and Kyon simply sat there awkwardly, unsure of what to say; he avoided Yuki's gaze somewhat nervously. At that moment, however, someone burst into the room, sparing Kyon the awkward moment. When she asked his name, he briefly considered telling her his real name--but then he decided she would more likely know him by the annoying nickname his little sister had assigned to him--a nickname that had quickly spread. "Kyon," he said, bowing his head, unsure of this girl was an upperclassman or not (in which case he would have had to treat her much more respectfully). He glanced at Yuki. "Someone you know?"

Yuki was happy to see Emmy "Oh that's right you don't know her Kyon ,Emmy Emmy, Kyon sorry my books not that intresting i just like that sorta thing."

The rest of the afternoon pretty much just reading or doing homework then finally the sky was orange again as it had been the day before but this time Yuki said "Umm Kyon time to go home, I'll walk down the hill with you. I really don't feel like get a limo, home." Hoping he'd say yes cause she truly didn't want a ride home.

Kyon looked up in some surprise at Yuki's sudden words. He had been re-burying himself in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and he had no at all expected her to say that. "Er...walk with me?" he was, for a moment, visibly flustered, but he quickly regained his cool. Dammit, why am I acting like Taniguchi? "Sure, I don't see why not." He stood up, and they began to walk out of the school, and down to the hill that the school sat on.

Kyon found it strange, because it was unusually quiet, and there was no one else around. The sinking sun cast an orange haze on the hill; it now seemed lonely and quiet. A gentle breeze drifted by. Even Kyon in all his cynicism and pessimism, found himself caught up in the beauty and serenity of it. He stopped for a moment, as if to truly appreciate the scenery, before turning back to Yuki. "Sorry..." he held his hand out to her. "Let's go."

Yuki blushed a little at kyon's hand as she took "Ok, thank you I really hate driving home always." Out of the corner of her eye she saw a little black car, she didn't make any thing of it. "Umm hey there is a really big sale at this book store I go to on science fiction books next saturday, I was just wondering if you wanted to go check it out then....of..of course that's only if you want I understand if you want to go alone." She could totally feel her face flushed in nevorusness.

"Eh, I guess walking's not so bad when you're walking with someone," Kyon said with a shrug. He glanced back to see a black car, and immediately alarms set off throughout his mind; he forced them back, determined not to mess this up. It was probably just some car anyway; there was no reason to be panicking. When Yuki spoke again, it drew his attention from the black car, and back to Yuki. "No way, sure I'd like to go with you...I'll give you my phone number some time, you can call me, and we can go."

Yuki went flushed as Kyon said that "O...ok...oh we're at the bottom of the hill and my house is this way, so bye". She was so nervous. As she walked the other way she didn't notice the black car driving behind her getting closer and closer, she didn't notice it till she was surronded by guys "Uummm can I help you." All of them stayed quiet, then the next sencation Yuki felt was a hand over the mouth, being pulled into the back of a car and getting sleepy.

Kyon nodded. "Right then...I'll see you later." As Yuki began to walk towards her house, Kyon continued walking forward towards his own house. That was when he heard a noise like the sound of car doors opening and slamming. He turned to see, not far away, Yuki being dragged into the black car. He almost yelled out her name, but realised that would attract attention to himself, and then he would be unable to do anything. He could only stand and watch as the car drove off, with Yuki in it. Dammit...what should I do... He ran as fast as he could to the door of her house, and in his frenzy tried to open it; it was locked, so he hammered on the door, hoping someone would open it.

Kyon crossed his arms as he glared up at Yuki's father; the man, who seemed to tower over Kyon even though the difference in height was not all that great, glared back down at him in kind. "I know she's not home at the moment," he spoke as quickly as he could, but he could not help but put some spite and sarcasm into the words. "We need to be quick. Some people drove up and kidnapped her, and then drove off before I could do anything about it."

As they began to drive after the other car, Kojima asked Kyon a question--Kyon had little time to wonder if this was really the time to be discussing such topics, but it wasn't like he could really do anything else for Yuki right now. "Well, I met her in the Literature Club, and I signed up for it."

Yuki's father moved his gaze to meet the boy's as he spoke "Oh I see so your the one who join the club....so why did you join was it on a dare? To make fun of my daughter." He should have known better then to ask him that. He never thought he would tell him. It felt as if the car was slowing down he couldn't be sure but he thought it was strange that this boy knew where they took her when he swears he came straight to the house. Kyon met Kojima's glare with his own, but the question caught him taken aback. "Why did I join?" he hesitated for a moment, wondering whether he should just lie. "Initially it was on a dare. I was supposed to just go into the room, say something, and then leave. Once I actually saw her sitting there alone reading, however, I had a strange feeling...so in the end,I didn't join because of the dare, I joined because I actually wanted to." The next question, however, was something Kyon had expected. "I used to be involved with those people...not deeply, but involved enough. I managed to pull out before I got too deep in."

Both answers didn't suprised Him in the lest except for the last part of the first one the fact that he had joined of his own free will did sorta suprise him. "I guess your not half bad kid, but I ever catch you messing with my daughter physically or emonotionlly, your dead you hear me." He glared at Kyon as he said it.

Yuki felt a drop of water hit her face, she opened her eyes to see what looked like a abondon warehouse. "Huh? I guess this is where they took me sounds like we're near the pier." Yuki whispered to herself.
