Setting
Named for it's discoverer, a wind-mage named Decanthus Avoryll, the New World differs sharply from the Eldritch Isles in that it is a largely singular land mass. It is mostly unexplored, but cartographers know it connects with the arctic poles in the north and the south and is possibly divided by a narrow oceanic passage. However, the winds and seas are so rough in that patch of sea and the rocks so treacherous that no navigator, even among the wind mages has yet been able to traverse it.
The Northern half of Avoryll is heavily colonized on the east coast by the magelords. The natives, however, have held their encroachment at the Vidlain river which marks the boundary of sorcerer civilization and their geographical knowledge. The Southern half is far less populated due to it's harsh jungles and far more aggressive natives. Only the Crescent Alliance has made headway in the south, trading enchanted treasures for mining rights on the native land.

A recently discovered continent that is still largely unexplored by the colonizing mage lords.
