Kuma

she looked up at Seth nodding in agreement to what he said, "yes those were my thoughts as well. ill go to the town with you and Jonas if he isnt hurt too much from healing Sierra. i could also hunt along with Sierra who ssaid she is a shape shifter. Seth since your an air mage do you think you could put up a small air barrier of sorts to alert us when someone who isnt like us gets to close to the house, or will that be too hard if your coming"

Kuma then turned her attention back to Jackie who seemed confused, "oh dear so your new hm well lets just say no one in this room is quite human including you. i am Kuma White a polar bear hybrid, Jonas is a healer, Sierra a shapeshifter, Seth is an airmage a i have mentioned before and Amayu is a wolf hybrid if i am correct. do you know what you are Jackie, everyone of us has some kind of mark that seperates is from a normal human" Kuma looked her in the eyes, conceerned that maybe Jackie could be working with the facility.

Seth looked blankly at Kuma he didn't even know that he could possibly create a barrier with air. The mark was something he had never known about, but he did have his strange wing shaped birth mark on his shoulder.
Kuma continued speaking to Jackie, introducing everyone and what they were. Seth simply leaned against the wall listening to her speak.

Jonas let Sierra tell him where the worst wounds were and he looked closely at them, inspecting each to determine which ones were the worst. He decided that the gash on her leg and shoulder as well as the burn on her neck were all pretty bad and should be healed. He grabbed her chin and leaned her head back gently, looking at the scrape under her eye.

"This one doesn't look serious." He explained, "it's only a flesh wound, it only hurts more because it's on your face. I'll put a band aid on it later, but for now I'll heal the other ones."

He braced himself and took hold of both of her wrists. She was so small and frail, he observed solemnly, that his hands easily wrapped around her skinny wrists. He decided that he should take this one slowly, he didn't want to frighten her when she saw him bleeding. He began healing her, trying to keep his face impassive as he did so.

¨Oh.¨ Sierra said, breaking the silence. Jonas looked up at her.¨I'm a shapeshifter, by the way.¨ She smiled brightly at him and he smiled back, despite the searing pain in his shoulder and leg.

¨Jonas. you don't have to heal me you know. And sorry for you cleaning up my...vomit.¨

He cocked his head to the side, curious about the strange girl. She had looked so weak, but now she had put on a strongface. He shook his head, "I want to help you." He stated simply. His neck burned and he winced. Then, he saw Sierra scratch off the healing scab from her leg, reopening the wound.

"No," he scolded. "You need to let it heal." Jonas took it with grace, though, and said no more, re-healing her leg until the skin regrew and it didn't appear she had ever been hurt, the only hint being a pale scar that ran up her leg where it had once been.

He smiled and stood up wobbly, his leg and shoulder bleeding through his new clothes. Jonas sighed, "I guess I should have changed first." He laughed softly, though the burn on his neck made it painful. "Come on, they're waiting for us." Jonas offered Sierra his hands to help her up and pulled her out of the tub before wrapping a towel around her. "How about we find you some clothes now?"

Jonas smiled and rolled his eyes when Sierra skipped out of the room ahead of him. He took his time, shifting his weight on his wounded leg to see how well it would fare, maybe he wouldn't be able to go out to work today...

He grimaced as a shock of pain shot up his leg and he pulled up the pant leg to check on it. It seemed that his earlier run in with the dogs hadn't quite healed and the new injury reopened the old one. Sighing, he opened up the medicine cabinet behind the mirror and pulled out some gauze. It would probably be best if he made sure not to do anything to agitate the injuries.

Turning his weight back to his good leg, Jonas limped out of the bathroom to go find some clothing for Sierra. He stopped first in the master bedroom and, after finding nothing, went to the smaller room. Nothing seemed small enough to fit Sierra's petite frame. He paused a moment to consider the options, he couldn't possibly let Sierra walk about in a towel, she'd get sick. Finally, he decided it would be best if they just improvised.

He called Sierra into the room and pulled a sweater not unlike the one Kuma was wearing and presented it to the small girl. "It'll be big, but maybe we can turn it into a dress." He offered, pulling the sweater over Sierra. The thick, warm fabric went a few inches above the girl's knees and the arms were a tad too long. He pulled a long strip of fabric out of the wardrobe and wrapped it around her waist, tying it in a bow in the back. Then, he grabbed a pair of long stockings for her legs and handed them to her before standing back and admiring his work. "Stylish, no?" He chuckled, "although, what would I know about style, eh? I've been trapped in that place my whole life, how would I know what looks good?"

Kuma

suddenly Sierra came out of no where boucing about with newfound energy which earned her a joyful smile from Kuma. she didn't mind Sierra playing with her hair and said a quite thank you, then turned her attention back to Jackie who seemed totally confused at this point not only that but on the verge of a break down 'cant have that now can we if she is what she hinted at she may very well burn our only haven down'

Kuma held Jackie by the shoulders "please Jackie calm down, from what you have said you must be a fire mage you might lose control of your abilities. I don't know how we came to be only that we are what we are nor do I know why that's something you would have to ask the facility but I can assure you I refuse to get answers to them or to even go back to them" her voice determined but also caring.

Kuma laughed at Sierras sudden transformation into a beautiful blue bird a smile on her face. "that's wonderful Sierra but where is Jonas is he alright after healing you?" her smile turned to a frown of worry at the thought that Jonas could be hurt. 'but then that's what he does he is a healer who takes on the pain of others I shouldn't worry to much should I?. Kuma let go Jackie's shoulders placing her paws in her lap neatly awaiting Sierras response.

Kuma

her frown deepened a bit more and she stood up heading towards the room Sierra pointed to but stopped placing paw gently on the girls head "dont worry Sierra its not your fault so please dont worry too much leave that for the adults" smiling gently. for isnt that what she was an adult with her astounding height of 6'5, hourglass figure anyone would have thought Kuma was someones mother or simply a young adult.

she stepped into the room making sure to knock in case Jonas wassnt fit for the eyes of the opposite gender. Kumas nose was soon drowned in the smell of fresh blood, this made her barge in seeing Jonas with blood seeping through his pants leg, "ah Jonas your wounds" she went over to him making him sit on the bed, "here take off your pants so i may wash and bandage this off. ill be right back" her tone commanding as she left the room to grab that wash clothes she had used for Sierra. Kuma found them in the bathroom and washed out the clothe as well as pouring clean water into the bucket she walked back to the room kneeling besides Jonas "hmm this will hurt a little bit so be prepared" she spoke softly while dabbing at his newly aquired wound then wrapped it up in another clothe that she found in the wardrobe "there that should help stop the bleeding" admiring her handi work.

Jonas smiled warmly at Sierra as she danced around in her new outfit "I'm glad you like it," he said, chuckling. She then told him that she wanted to show Kuma her outfit before skipping away into the main room. He stayed behind a bit, his leg killing him. He decided it would be best if he just took a break and let his body heal itself, he had been using his powers a lot more than he usually did, it would do him well to let it catch up and rest.

Slowly, he sat down and leaned back against the wardrobe door and closed his eyes, feeling suddenly quite tired. A nap wouldn't hurt, would it?

"Ah Jonas, your wounds!" Jonas opened his eyes to see Kuma rushing in.

"Don't worry Kuma, I'm fi-" She didn't seem to hear as she helped him off of the floor and onto the bed.

"Here, take off your pants so I may wash and take this bandage off. I'll be right back." She told him sternly. Jonas blushed and did as he was told, removing the khakis and folding them before setting them on the bed next to where he was sitting.

She came back in and kneeled beside him, gently cleaning the wound before wrapping it up again. "Thank you, Kuma. I think I just need to rest, I've been overusing my powers lately, I need to give my body time to catch up, it hasn't been healing itself as quickly as it usually does." He stood up and limped to the wardrobe so he could grab a new pair of pants, and he quickly put them on before walking back to Kuma.

He hugged her gently and kissed her forehead. "Thank you for worrying about me and everyone else. Maybe you could use a break, too. I don't want you to get too stressed out."

Jonas smiled at her and ruffled her hair before standing up and limping out into the living room where everyone else was. He sat down on the couch and leaned back. "How are you feeling, Sierra? Do you still want a band-aid for your eye?"

Kuma

"oh well i guess you right" her voice trailed off some not used to such shows of affection only pain. if she had been lighter skinned Jonas would have seen her blush a bright red but it soon dissapeared as she got up to follow him to the living room. she stood to the side of Sierra looking at everyone and checking their conditions finally she decided to ask the question most of them must have been wondering about "so who will be going to town with me?" her eyes bright with worry for how they would be treated in the small town.

(OOC: so what kind of town will it be and whats the general time setting)

Seth examined the situation. It had changed really fast. The two girls were now definitely all right, in fact the only one who looked beaten was Jonas. Also Jackie's power seemed a little unstable as Seth's had been before learning some control, he wanted to help her learn that control.
"I definitely want to go to town, but I want to stick close to Jackie for now, I can help her with her control over her mage powers if their similar to mine. That's all right with you." said Seth

(OOC: I think it should be a small mountain town with nice people who wouldn't sell us out.)

Amayu had tied a rag over her head in order to cover her ears, "I'll tag along" she said nodding, "since I need to see what has changed around here." she said with a nod, she lived near here, and she knew the town and its landscape, yet the people she knew had changed, especially after another was taken, they didn't trust Amayu at that point, and she wondered if she could change that. She sighed, "I lived near here..." she said as she nodded, "My home actually could be close if they didn't sell it or burn it to the ground." she said with a nod, "There I know I have medical supplies and food." she said with a smile, "But the town first." she said with a smile and tilting her head to the side a little.

Kuma walked in soon after Jonas sat down and asked who would like to go into town. He considered staying back and sleeping for a bit, but it seemed like everyone wanted to leave and he didn't want to be alone so close to the facility. He rolled his ankle, testing the wound on his leg to see how badly it hurt with movement. By the stiffness and how itchy it was, he could tell it was healing well, he should be able to walk on it without too much pain.

"I'll go," he decided out loud, smiling at Kuma to make sure she knew he was fine. "I think we all need some fresh air."

Both Amayu and Sierra expressed interest in going as well. Amayu explained to them that she used to live near the area and that they should be able to get some supplies from her old home if it was still there. He nodded, "that would be good, thank you Amayu."

Sierra quickly jumped up and ran out, only to cause a commotion outside. She yelled about something and Jonas looked to Kuma and the others, "we should get going now." He stated before walking out after Sierra.

When he got out into the yard he saw that she had turned into a griffin and was clawing ferociously at a plant. "Sierra, calm down." He said, walking up to her and patting her back, "it's gone now, you're okay."

Kuma

"so then everyone will be coming along then" this was soon backed up with Jonas limping out the door following after Sierra who ran. Kuma turned to the others motioning for them to come along and stepped out into the cold her breathe formed a white cloud in front of her but she wasnt cold in the slightest. "Sierra do calm down its alright its dead now come along dont want to reach the twon in the dark" she smiled at them. Kuma ran forwards a little twirling and laughed the excitment from being free came back "oh isnt this great a new start on life now we can live like free people" her grin widened she held her arm out towards Sierra "come join me Sierra you too Jonas" holding both arms out to the two of them.

Seth spoke "Well Jackie let's get going I'll teach you some of the basics about being a mage it will probably be a little different for you, but I'm sure the principle is the same. Amayu come on we don't want to be left behind by the others, Kuma and Sierra are already moving forward." Seth took Amayu's right hand in his left and Jackie's left in his right pulling them out of the house, running to catch up with the others. A large smile came to his face. His old life wasn't bad , but this this made him feel a lot more alive than any time before.

Seth ran through the forest fast as he could, Amayu and Jackie right behind him. He had been running he guessed a good ten minutes before he slowed down. Just up ahead Sierra was turning into from one animal to the next. He was now only walking slow. He stayed beside Jackie and Amayu. "So Jackie how about that lesson. I'll teach you what i can, but I've only had my powers for a year now so i can only teach you a litle about control." Said Seth.

Amayu had stopped with Seth, "I'll go to my home to see if it's still mine." she said as she ran off soon after a few minutes of running she had reached the door and found her key in the tree. She looked at the lock, "please... Work"she mumbled as the door was unlocked, "oh thank you" she said before walking into the foyer and smiling, "Just how mum left it" she said as she looked throughout the house for any dangers, "hmm... I thought they would have someone living here already..." he mumbled as a light came on causing her to panic, "Amayu...? Is that you?" the voice asked as she sighed and walked out, "You're alive?!" the voice said in shock, "Yeah..." Amayu said poking herself as she heard a gun load, "Wait..." she said as the gun went off, "Demon!" the voice yelled, "What?!" Amayu yelled as the figure finally had a face, "Kiyoa" Amayu mumbled as she looked at the man, whom hated Amayu, more shots were fired as Amayu jumped around and soon took the man by his throat, Amayu was furious at the man for damaging her home, "Get. Out!" she yelled as she threw him out the door, "And stay out!" she yelled as she checked the rest of the house, "Good." she mumbled as she ran back, "My home is all clear." she said with a light head tilt and smile.

Kuma

she smiled at Sierras offer but shook her head "I think I will pass on your offer Sierra" patting the girl on the head. Kuma linked arms again with the both of them following Amayu and the others who seemed to know where they were going. then Amayu ran off ahead of them and Kuma could hear gunshots in the distance, this made Kuma flinch and stop in her tracks thinking the facility had come to get them. but after rushing towards Amayu to make sure she was alright Kuma breathed a sigh of relief glad that the young girl was alright. "oh thank God Amayu I thought that was the facility was shooting at us, are you alright?" concern heavy in her voice as she stepped through the doorway but stopped standing in the hall uncertain if she should continue further in the house.

Seth was a little worried at first when he heard the Gunshots from the house Amayu had gone in, but when he saw the man tumble out of the house and run off he new it was all right. He had only known Amayu a few hours, but she was the one single reason he wasn't in the facility and he would probably have to work damn hard to pay her back for it. Clearly she was independent.
He sighed with relief and turned to Jackie. "Well Jackie this might be the one lesson I give you. First to start knowing control you got to know how to loose it. If you known how to do that we can start to lay the foundation that will be control. So, to loose it I want you to look at that rock." said Seth turning her to look at a simple rock, well more of a bolder actually just there. Seth went on in his instructions, "look at that rock, visualize it as every person who ever made you feel, bad, hurt, pain, irritation(Irritation is probably the best one). Then loose it, just wreck that rock like you never wrecked anything as much as this, at the same time this can also get rid of some stress, so good luck." he gave her an encouraging smile and stepped away from her a little.

Jackie looked at Amayu when she went to find out if her house was okay. She watched her disappear. After a little bit, gunshots were heard and Jackie felt her stomach tighten. Turning her head when Seth did, the two saw a man running away from a house as if his life depended on it, which it probably did.

Seth started speaking. She listened to him carefully and then felt herself being turned. Her eyes were locked on the boulder Seth had mentioned.

I'm supposed to what, set that on fire?
The thought was ridiculous, and Jackie shook her head. Seth's words evntually stopped and she turned her head to look at him. "Loose it, on a rock? What am I suppose to do? Set it on fire? You can't be serious."

She looked at him and then the rock. Really, what was she suppose to do to it?
What did he exactly mean by 'loose it'?

Seth: "Well I suppose you are right. You may need a demonstration." Seth turned toward the rock. "When I first started using my power I could only do it by feeling a strong emotion, anger. So right now I'm thinking of the kids in elementary school that picked on me, the bullies in high school that have ganged up on me. I'm thinking of every insult that has been cast upon me!" by the end of his words his voice was now loud and resonating through the air. Strong winds began picking up, the trees swayed in the winds all around them. The sky began to darken. This was one of the most dangerous things Seth could do resorting to emotion made him loose a lot of control. Finally he released all of his anger a wind came down from the sky so fierce the naked eye could see it. The wind blasted down striking the rock, everything was being blown away from where the rock had been.
The wind died down, the sky cleared, everything was back to normal. Seth fell on to the ground panting. "That..." he took a moment to breath a little more, "is how you loose it. So pick a target and try." Seth lay back and passed out. Using this much power really did a number on him, plus when relying on his emotion it used twice as much energy.

Seth's eyes slowly opened, Jackie was leaning over him patting his cheek. "Sorry." he was feeling weak, from his demonstration. "Since I've never met a mage before I can only make theories about my powers, but it seems to me that the more control I learn the harder it becomes to rely on emotion. Which is definitely a good thing. You won't pass out from doing it like I do, well I guess anyway. So don't... worry, and I... just... need... rest" Seth barely finished his words before once again passing out.
