Overall Personality
On the surface Amber is fierce, independent, tomboyish, and pugnacious. However, beneath this tough exterior, she possesses a strong loyalty
toward her friends and an admirable compassion seen in moments when she expresses love. Her offensive battle style means that she is always
quick to initiate or rise to a challenge and she is extremely quick witted and impulsive, especially in heated situations. Though her rash decisions
often result in her accidentally insulting others.

Amber is tough, impatient, headstrong, sarcastic, and assertive. However, she also has a good sense of humor and enthusiasm. But she is also
impulsive and therefore has a hard time hiding her true feelings. This indicates that she is ruled by her emotions even when she tries to
pretend they do not exist, leaving her vulnerable.

"Bee, three, one. Bee, three, one." The blue headed girl continued to mutter this to herself, saying each word slowly and trying to make it rhyme. "Um..alright, got it." She flashed a quick smile to her brother as she hopped out of his car, grabbing her bag and jogging towards the school. As soon as she walked in, she noticed everyone staring at a couple in the corner. They looked cute together, when she thought about it, but it was slightly disappointing since the boy was so adorable. Too bad, she thought. Though she'd never had a boyfriend before and didn't really care for one, not until she found someone willing to make her believe in love. But the girl had seen her brother's heart broken so many times, she was afraid of the freakshow called love.

Taking care to stay away from the couple, she moved towards the stairs, figuring they'd take the elevator. Nope. As soon as she got there, still muttering her "Bee, three, one", the boy was kneeling in front of the girl. Squeezing past the pair, she stumbled up the steps. "B.." A few more steps. "Three." Aha, floor three. "One!" Jumping up, she smiled, pulling the door open to her new room. "Two beds?" She asked aloud, still standing in the doorway.

Alli turned over on her bed realizing she wasent alone in the room, she starred at a wide eyed blue haired girl. Alli jumped up turning beat red. "I-I-I'm sorry I didnt know I would have a roomate.... I'm sorry." She looked down at her hands not being really the social type person, people could easily make her feel timid. She looked back up at the blue haired girl and gave a weak smile.
She looked nice enough, maybe they could become friends? Alli hadent had many friends being to shy to even say hi, the only person she felt comfortable with was her twin brother. She sat down on her bed mustering the courage up to introduce herslef.
"H-h-hello my names Allison, but I prefer to be called Alli."She stuttered looking at the girl then looking down playing nervously with the tips of her blonde hair.

Alli watched the girl disappear, She quickly tooked out her crumbled piece of paper already embarrased. She looked down at the name. She face palmed herself. She had handed Andrew the wrong one. "Crap." She muttered She stood up picking up one of her suit cases trying to catch up to the blue haired girl. She tried to remember how she had made the stupid mistake.
She nodded remembering it was her anger that had got in the way, She had picked up the papers from the lady only seeing the last name and shoved one at her brother trying to get away from him as fast as possible so she wouldn't freeze his hair like she had done once before when he had pissed her off to the point of no return. She slowed as she caught up to the blue haired girl keeping her head low.

Alli sighed she was hoping she wouldn't have to talk more than normal. "I'm just coming with you to figure this out then I'll leave." She said looking at the girls back. She shook her head she didnt even want to come to this school her brother did and somehow she was always stuck doing anything he wanted to do. She walked past an open door seeing her brothers figure, she sighed in relief not mad at him anymore happy to just see his face.

Andrew frowned slighlty at the rejection, but brushed it off. He looked out the door as he saw a head of blue hair past and then his sisters blonde hair that hung down her back. He stepped out the room locking with his sisters relieved eyes, he gave her a reassuring smile before turning to the blue haired girl going down the stairs. "Amy?" He called hesitantly.

"I still don't smoke," the red-headed girl's voice said. It was nearly daunting, taunting him to want to know more and yet pushed him away a little bit more. Smoking, drinking, playing the part of the person parents don't accept...this had been his life. Always had been his life. This is what he was used to. To be honest, he found it a tad intriguing that she still refused. He gave a little smirk and continued eyeing people out the window.
His room didn't have a good view of the front of the school, but instead of the mountains far out of walking reach with plenty of trees before them. He had always appreciated good scenery and heights to see the world from. In time passing, he took a couple more hits, letting his mind flow and wander. The silence between him and the red-head had been, if anything, comfortable to him. Maybe she fell asleep? Should I check? Before he decided to turn, he heard footsteps down the hallway. What would it look like if he tried to wake her? He didn't need to be in any trouble, not here. Not now.
The footsteps ceased. They were close, but not quite in the room. More like in the doorway, Simon tried to measure with his ears. "Am I in the wrong room? This is B31 right?" A voice said. It didn't sound raspy, but it sounded like it could draw in a crowd. Simon half-wished his own voice could sound like that. It was attractive. Simon stayed silent. Teeny or not, the room number was next to the damn door, moron. Simon wondered whether the guy would leave or if he would have to kick him out. Ignoring people usually did the trick well.
"Um, sorry love," came a muffled voice to Simon's left. The red-head. "This is B Three Twelve." She continued to say she knew his roommate. It occurred to Simon that this girl had more years here than he did. She knew this place. Another reason to keep her around. If she really wants to stay around, that is, a small voice in his head argued.
The boy's voice changed ever so slightly. Seductive. Simon's jaw tightened. This guy needed to get out. Now. Muscles tensing, Simon drew a breath, then the red-head did something he did not expect. She refused the seduction. Flat out rejection. Was that normal? Simon felt a sincere want to know why. And then, "boy friend." Simon lit up again and breathed in smoke, making a small joke in his head, I don't breathe in oxygen, do I.
He glanced at the red-head as he turned, but ultimately made a move towards the guy as he was preoccupied with two girls behind him: blonde and blue-haired. He made his best silent footing, so he walked just a speed lower than normal. He paused and leaned on the desk four feet away from the guy, who was an ultimate attraction. He looked the part of some kind of model. He was cute, boyish yet sentimentally manly. The kind of guy who would probably stand up to Simon, but not want a fight. Simon instantly liked him.
Straight in the guy's direction, he exhaled the smoke. "Who are you supposed to be?"

[OOC: Excuse my long post and tardiness. Had school and work. I leave for one day and look what you guys do! Ugh, I love it so much I regret not being a part until now. Yet it helped Simon's character growth, so thanks! =)]

Andrew burst out laughing as the girl called his sister and him a couple. "Like I would ever--." He said in between laughs then catching his sisters death glare he immediately shut up. " No we are not a couple she's my younger sister." He said grinning knowing his sister hated when he called her his younger sister. "Actually Amber, I think we are sharing a room and I came to--." He was cut of by a male voice. Andrew hadn't remembered a male being here, he turned around confused. He saw a male leaning on a desk only a few feet away from him holding a pipe. He nodded remembering the male from the window. He gave him a slight smile, "my names Andrew, guess I'm suppose to be the guy stealing your girlfriend." He said winking over the male's shoulder at the red head. He couldn't read the guy's expression as he said this so he guessed he wasn't much for comedy. He laughed putting his hands up like he was being held at gun point. "I'm only joking man. I accidentally stumbled into your room." He took a few steps toward the guy and held out his hand a smile still on his face. " what's your name by the way?"

(OOC: my bad I had the name Amy on my mind while typing. Sorry)

Simon looked from Andrew to the red-head next to him. He remembered a meme from the internet that said "well, that escalated quickly," and decided it could certainly be applied here. He listened patiently as the red-head and Andrew had their own encounters. As flirty as the red-head was, she held her ground. He glanced back up to Andrew when the other blondie behind him spoke up. He couldn't quite tell if her question was directed towards the group or towards herself. "What does the paper say, ma'am?"
His bowl was almost finished, so he took in his last hit and snuffed it out with the edge of his lighter. When the smoke ceased from the pipe, he placed both objects in his pockets and crossed his arms casually. He kept his gaze steady and leaned on one foot, waiting to hear from Andrew's sister.

"My name?" Again the red head slowed down until she was walking beside the boy. "It's Kat. And you're Andrew." Had he told her that, or had she just heard someone else say it? She actually didn't know, but at least she didn't make a fool out of herself for forgetting it completely and having to ask him.

Amber had woken up to a dark and empty room. Groaning, she kicked her legs over the side of the bed and reluctantly got up. Unable to see, she made her way towards the door and hit around for a lightswitch, luckily finding one rather quickly. "Woo!" She smiled before going back towards the bed and making it, then going over to the dresser to take out all her piercings. When she slept with them in she usually woke up with terrible pain well, everywhere. And she's rather walk around with possible holes in her face instead of that. Going back towards the door, she slipped some converses on and pushed the door open, stepping out into the hallway. When you looked at Amber, she really did look like she'd just woken up. Her blue hair was slightly messy, and her eyeliner had smeared a tad bit. Though mostly what gave it away was the way too big "Sleeping With Sirens" shirt and very short black pants, which barely came past the long shirt. She didn't intend to look like a whore, actually she never wore clothes out of the house like this, but it was almost midnight. Who would be out at this time?

Amber watched as a boy exited his room, and then returned a few minutes later. And though she was tempted to say something, she stayed quiet and waited for his door to close before she tip-toed back into her room and slipped on a pair of boots before going back into the hallway. Subconsciously she pulled her shirt down, thinking that she probably should have put some longer pants on or something. Slowly making her way down the hall, she looked around for the sign of anyone else, and it seemed that no one was around. How many people were at the school already? It didn't look like many.

Reaching the stairs, she practically jumped down them, taking as many as she could. Though perhaps she should have been paying more attention, because one minute she was jumping down the last few steps and the next she was crashing into someone. Sadly she had this annoying scream that sounded more like a squeak, and she hurriedly backed away from the thing she'd crashed into. "I'm so, so sorry." Her eyes flicked up to catch his face, and somehow she recognized him. A flash of red in her mind reminded her of Kat. "Oh! Hey, you're the guy Kat was all upset over. What's wrong?"

"She's gone!" Simon croaked. He hardly noticed the blue-haired girl bump into him. "We were just standing there, Allison and I, and I tell you, she disappeared in thin air! The front desk is no help. We need to find her."
He paced as he spoke. It wasn't natural for him to care about someone, and he wasn't sure if he cared about Allison or not. Like it or not, though, she was his roommate, and he'd be damned if he was going to have a trick pulled over his head by a girl. Not that he was completely sexist, he didn't like tricks period, and this one, if it was one, scared the living daylights out of him. With his overactive imagination, he thought it could be a plot against magical humans. Something to get rid of them.
Simon stopped and took a breath. Perhaps this was just how this girl might be. Maybe she just disappears sometimes. His muscles relaxed somewhat and he tried to accept this reality. Maybe he freaked for nothing.
He turned to the girl. "Maybe the lady at the front desk was right and we need to wait a little longer to see if she comes back. Sorry for throwing a fit. It's not gentlemanly." He extended his hand as a calm rushed over him. "Matthews," he said. He did not smile, he only looked at the girl. What would she think of his embarrassing show? It was probably much different than his normalcy upstairs. Maybe that was what it was like to worry about someone, though. Simon was sure that he would have had the same reaction to anyone going missing. He wasn't used to the magical world yet.
Something nagged at the back of his mind, though. Allison didn't have those kinds of abilities. She had a brother, didn't she? He made a mental note to find the guy.

The blue-haired girl's arms began to bleed. What the fuck? Simon thought. She had backed away and this happened. What kind of a reaction was it? Simon's expression didn't change, but he didn't say anything. She had said, "ah, shit," so he deducted that she was either used tot his kind of thing or it has at least happened before.
She offered up finding Andrew. The brother? Simon forgot. Before he knew it, the blue-haired girl laced herself around his arm, called him loverboy, and introduced herself as Amber.
The woods? Simon though. He wasn't scared, but he thought it odd that that would be the first place Amber thought to look. He would find it weirder if Amber was right. He let her lead as he followed.

"You're sorta quiet," Amber said and paused. "Matthews, I bet that's not even your first name. One day you'll tell me, I know it." Simon didn't answer, so she tried again, it seemed. "Oh, you know before, with my arms, yeah. I have this weird power where I can project the extra iron in my blood out of my body, and when you freaked me out, it started boiling and that happened." Amber had looked down at her arms. Simon chanced a glance and saw numerous cuts. "Think...Wolverine," she had said and burst into fits of laughter. Simon didn't see the comparison, but he continued walking anyway, Amber laced through his arm.
"Are you wondering why we're going to the woods?" A wee bit, Simon thought. "Kat likes quiet places, she doesn't like people. But she seemed to like you! Anyho, she has always taken a liking to any place dark and creepy. Not because she likes creepy things! But people tend to stay away from creepy things, so if she's there, other people won't be."
Amber suddenly stopped whereas Simon kept forward towards the woods. He felt a little yank, and when he had pulled away from her, he turned back. "Am I talking too much? I'm so sorry, I have a habit of doing that. I did just wake up though! Gosh I could use some food." Her stomach growled and she pulled at her shirt, when it growled again. She tried to change the subject. "Oooh, it's cold out here."
She gathered her arm around Simon's again and they took a couple steps when he felt it. A surge of heat on his side. He looked back nonchalantly. His eyes didn't widen when he saw a bright and fiery pair of wings. He wasn't sure if he was surprised or not, but he decided that even if he was, he had to get used to this kind of thing.
"That's better. Are you okay?" Amber seemed to be pleased with herself.
They were entering the woods. "Yes," Simon said quietly. There was something about Amber that he didn't mind. She could supply many conversations, even if the one before had been exasperated. Simon enjoyed watching her persist, but he kept his eyes open for...what was her name? Kat? Was that the red-headed girl? On the other hand, he listened intently to the nature of the dark and for footsteps that wasn't his or Amber's.

It was peaceful in the woods. Simon was tempted to pull out his pack, but Amber was hooked on his arm. Although she, too, was enjoyable, even if he was only half-paying attention. "I hope I'm not boring you." She said, as they walked deeper into the woods. "Though I probably am. If you ever want me to like, be quiet, just say so. Or put your hand over my mouth or something, I'll get what you mean. Since it doesn't look like you like talking much." She placed her own hand over her mouth and continued talking. Simon could just almost make out the words, but he only heard a 'like' and 'I' in her sentence(s). She laughed, as if cautiously or nervous. Simon patronized her and chuckled lightly, though his lips were closed. He surveyed the surrounding trees and darkening greenery. "Actually," Amber's light voice traveled to his ear. "Did you know there's a reason guys don't talk as much? One reason is because the part of your brain that controls communication is more developed in females. Another reason is because in most cultures, females are encouraged to talk & share emotions where as it is frowned upon when males do so. Our brains are wired differently & we're groomed by our culture of what is and isn't appropriate for males & females. And then there is the factor of insecurities." Amber paused a moment for an example. "Like well, if there was just a silence between us, I would feel like you didn't like me. So I try and fill it by talking, then I guess I feel better about myself in some odd way."
Simon looked down at her. Everyone is so straight-forward here... Simon observed. At that moment, she grew very quiet, stopped, and said, "Yep, I couldn't really sleep for long."
Simon slowly brought his head up, realizing that he and Amber had joined company with Kat and Andrew. The red-headed Kat greeted the two. "Hey Amber, Matthew," and waved a hidden hand. She looked like she was milking patience to something. Simon wasn't sure whether he cared at that moment, other things at hand were rather important. He nodded to Kat and turned to Andrew.
"Your sister is missing," Simon announced. He expected Andrew to pounce on him for losing his sister, so he grounded his feet and his body tensed. He could tell Amber felt it in his arms.

"What do you mean missing?" Andrew said. Simon couldn't detect whether he was more worried or angry. he was so close.
"Oh, no." Amber said. "I doubt Matthews did anything. If he did he wouldn't have been so worried about her." Amber stepped forward slightly. Simon thought with acid in his consciousness, if I were to have done anything to her, I'd still have come and acted worried. I'm the prime suspect either way. "Let's not kill the messenger," Amber finished with.
"We were smoking on the bridge before the forest edge," Simon said in somewhat a soothing tone. "I turned from her, looked back, and she had vanished." Simon wasn't sure if he was crazy or not. He pulled out his pack and lit up. He needed this one.

He doesn't understand... Simon thought. Inside his head, he felt like he yelled it. If Simon were anybody else, he probably would have shouted it out loud. Simon took a drag, turned, and left. He ignored anything the others said. He was internally shaking his head. He couldn't believe it. Andrew had smiled as he tried to reassure Simon, this gave Simon chills. The smile didn't real anything, no, but Andrew wasn't there. Simon was. And Simon was near scared. He headed back to his dorm room.
