As one can expect of someone who's in the two rival clubs, Akira simply does not give a flying fuck. It seems as if his main goal in life is to piss off others and it's working out rather well, judging by the heated glares he receives whenever he walks into meetings. He remains unruffled even as others call him out on his non-existent antics. Truthfully speaking, he's not easiest person to get along with, even on the best of days.
Despite his rather crude exterior, the man takes his classes seriously. His robes are proof of his dedication. As annoying as he is, if he's required to attend, he'll show up to club gatherings, much to the chagrin of the other members. Underneath the pretense of a general asshole is someone who readily bears responsibility, although pointing it out to him will often result in Akira brushing it off and smoothly changing the subject. His adept use of words, both in inciting and calming emotions, has gotten him out of many a sticky situation.
He's good at keeping people at bay. If one were to observe closely, the only company he keeps for long is his white cat's, Chika. Otherwise he's always flitting between groups, making himself remembered but never really known. It's not that he has trust issues or anything of the sort. Akira simply finds it uncomfortable to open up to others after spending most of his life presenting an unflappable front to all, including his Muggle family.
