While one of easiest classes to pass health class was a complete and utter bore. Plus the teacher was weird as fuck with all her gross pictures and way to open discussion. Even as a girl herself she felt a little uncomfortable about some of the things the teacher mentioned so she couldn't feel blame the guys who looked like they were moments from hurling up their lunches. She couldn't be anymore thankful when the lesson finally wrapped up and the teacher began collecting her belongings. The other students took that as a sign to get up out their seats and go racing to the door. Of course the teacher stopped them from leaving not allowing anyone to go until the bell rung.
Part of the reason why the school had been in such a uproar today was because tonight was the first party of the year. Rylie's party. Aaliyah wasn't exactly thrilled to be going to a party being thrown by a junior but Rylie wasn't just any junior. She was rebel and popular clique orientated parties excluded the rebels threw the second best parties around. Plus she was friend of Christina's so Aaliyah couldn't just dismiss the girl. Going to her ex-boyfriend's house after-school wasn't going to be the exact highlight of her day but despite them being ex's Tristan and her were still friends.
As the bell sounded throughout the wild animals were let loose into the halls. Gathering her things Aaliyah got up out of her seat and was about to walk across the room to where the others were waiting but she was stopped by Mikaela. "Please be on your best behavior at Tris and Chris's place. From what I hear it took a lot of convincing to get Ashley to agreed to come over and play dress up and I really want this to go well. I know you miss her as much as I do and this could be the first real step and rebuilding our friendship which again I want. Badly. So if you fuck this up I will murder you in your sleep."
Aaliyah didn't get a chance to get a word in as just like that the conversation was over with a warning served and Mikaela walking away. Mikaela was one of the few people in this world who could talk to Aaliyah any kind of way and Aaliyah wouldn't go on the offensive and start ripping into. Aaliyah knew how badly Mickey wanted the old group back together again and although she would never admit it out loud she wanted Ashley back to. Aaliyah had had ever intention of keeping the peace and avoiding all b.s. and drama. At least with Ashley anyway. Any and everyone else was pretty much fair game to her as usual. Joining the group on the other side of the classroom they chatted for a bit before deciding to out to parking lot to wait for Christina.
The teacher had assigned them all their first art project of the semester and so far Christina's was coming out pretty well. They were doing distress watercolor dry embossing which with the way it sounded she hadn't expected it to be much fun at first. However, as it turned out the project was surprising fun and both she and her teacher couldn't wait to see how the final product would turn out. Class had flown by for her and she was still in the midst of working when the bell rung signaling the end of class. She took her time cleaning up her work station and was careful to put the still wet painting away as she didn't want it getting smudged or worst completely ruined.
When she was all finished she said goodbye to her teacher and left the classroom. Tristan had texted her that everyone was waiting for her outside so she headed straight for the student parking lot. For it to be fall it was bright sunny day outside and she used her hand to block the sunlight as she found her group of friends huddled together by their vehicles. "What up guys!", she shouted getting everyone's attention as she joined the group.
"What up guys!" The familiar voice of his sister rang out in his ears as she stepped in view. "What took you so long?", he asked as class had ended at least ten minutes ago. "I was in art. Had to clean up my station and but everything away before I could leave." Tristan just shrugged ready to get far away from the building that he would be returning to monday morning. He wasn't exactly sure who had driven who to school today or if they had all just drove their own cars but he had drove himself, Christina and Ashley to school today. "Alright well let's get moving. We've got a party to get ready for." Christina cheered at that calling shotgun as she got into the passenger seat of Tristan's car. Getting into the driver's seat he waited until Ash was in the car before driving off. He had arrived at his home first and left the door unlocked for the others as he entered the house.
