Carter Leonore's Story

You are in Marintine. Well technically you're in Sovatia Which is a small town in Merea in Marintine. This is a town know for its dead ends. Not much you can do here. Other than drink your problems away. The tavern is really nice for the shit hole town it is in. A man sits outside selling catfolk slaves. Most walk by. One Just sits in her cage. not looking at anyone. She just sits there as if meditating.
Carter sat at the tavern bar. It was a nice sunny day outside and Carter sat there Chugging down his last mug of ale. He slammed it down and slid it across the counter and raised his hand "Im out!" he said as he stood up and drunkenly walked out the door and leaned on the outer wall. The sun glared in his eye's and he raised his hand. It sobered him right up and he continued walking. As he passed a Slave vendor, he noticed a new edition.
Carter had been slowly chipping away at Tythe the Slaveman's Slave network by buying out all his slaves then freeing him. See'ing a new edition was common place but she had to be free'd before he could buy the older ones.
"The new one. i want her." Carter said as he handed the slave master a bag of coins and he opened the cage. Carter nealed in front of her. "Your free now.."

Aarana looks up to the man. "Oh really? Just like that? You're really going to just hand him some gold and let me go?" The man running the slave pin walks over. "No He's not." Dropping the money in the mud. "Get out."
"Your drunk." he tipped him a bit and he fell over. Tythe never dropped gold, not even if he was hanging off the Great cliffs... "I'll just take the slave and when you sober up, you'll take it" Carter said as he Helped Arana out of the cage. "Come on now. We hae some work to do."
"Well." he sighed as he walked her to the edge of town and out the gates. "Thats for you too decide." he said as he took two steps away from her. "You can run, and find someplace to live free, or, you can come with me, and help the slave rebbelion." he said as he pointed eastward.
Aarana looks at the man. She could tell he was serious. She turned and started to walk off. But she stopped. "What is there to help with? Every race buys us and breeds us like cattle. How will we be able to do something to take them ALL down?" She turned back and faced him.
"Its easy, just like the Ogre's do it. We recruit take a farm, let everyone go then leave. Eventually, theyll all go down. We'll inspire hearts all over cause uprisings. But why do you care, you look like your leaving anyway. The only way your getting more info, is if you come with me..."

"I'm sorry if I don't seem to care. I can't exactly trust some guy who just bought me, Right after coming out of a tavern." Aarana said as she ran her hands thru her hair. "This isn't a good idea on my part but....." She looked at him in the eyes. ".......fine. Lets go."
"Thats the spirit" he said as he smiled and waved his hand towards him "Follow me, Nokohaven is this way" he said and so they were on there way down a dirt path in the middle of a forest.
"So, where you from?" he said, trying to make small talk.

"I don't know." She said as she walked. "Whats your name?" She asked. She knew this was going to be a long walk. She looked at the shackles in her hand. They could be sold for a little bit, then if she doesn't like what she sees she can leave.
"Im Carter, Carter Leonore. Out west im called Crazy Carter, but thats just what the Morak's call me." he said with a chuckle "Whats yours? Tythe was to drunk to give me your registration papers..."
"Aarana Ka'sine." She says with a small glance over to Carter. She didn't know how to feel about him.
"Well, nice to meet you miss Aarana." he said as he looked around "Your mighty small and young to be a slave. Tythe is an idiot. He is a greedy, idiot." he stopped and raised his hand "shh...." he said as he crouched a bit and reached for his sword
"Who is that!" Carter shouted. He pulled out his sword and looked around. He motioned Aarana to get down and he took a few steps forward.
"What are you doing out here?" he said as he eased up and sheathed his sword. "This isnt a place you should be lurking..."
"Nope." She said. then realized she looked stupid for crouching. She stood up and looked at the man. "Welp....."
"Actualy yes..."he sighs and looks back at Aarana. "it is." Carter began walking again then stopped "Why are you out here?" he said as he turned and looked back at Saten
