Introduction

A remake of the first Married To A stranger.

Twelve young adults find themselves trapped in an arranged engagement with no way out. The young adults are given a year to meet and become familiar with their new life partners. Lets hope they all get along. The eight individuals will all be placed in a seriously huge mansion all together, so that they may be able to make new friends to comfort and support each other as their lives change forever, and yes, possibly even enemies that make their every day lives a living hell.

This story takes place in a world known as Artania, which is is a lot like earth but with a wide array of strange and sometimes very dangerous creatures and various races.

Races:

Human: Well..This explains itself...

Elves:beautiful, elegant, warriors. They're interested in archery, lore-making, architecture, and orc-disemboweling. While solid soldiers, these elves tend to be a bit on the delicate side, preferring to fire arrows from a distance while invoking ancient spells and whatnot.

Vampires: Well vampires are basically just like us humans, but you know, with fangs and a craving for blood. Most Vampires are known to be a bit secretive and maybe even a little grumpy at times. Vampires are very strong and very fast, much faster than any other race. Vampires can also be very seductive. The vampires in this story do NOT sparkle! They have slightly pointed ears and are on the slender side.

Angels: Basically humans with big white wings that posses light and healing powers. Angels are friendly creatures that get a long with most races. They do, however, tend to look down at other races, feeling that they are the purest and best race.

Butterflies danced in jacks stomach as he neared the mansion, not really knowing what to expect. Jack only new that this is where he was meeting his bride to be and that he would be living with thirteen other people. He only new his brides name, he had never even met this woman before. Jack pulled up to the mansion, parked his car, grabbed his crud and unlocked the huge mansion door with the key he was given. Upon entering the mansion Jack noticed the giant chandelier hanging in the main room, and of course the other rather expensive looking furniture.

Jack closed the large door behind him and left his things in the entrance and, with his kitten close behind him, started to explore the mansion. After exploring for about ten minutes jack found the smallest bedroom in the mansion and claimed it for himself. jack didn't bring a lot with him , just clothes and a few other things he needed from the room he had a home, so the smaller room worked perfectly for him. Once he had a few of his things set up he explored a little more, discovering a music room , a library, the rather large dining area, and the stable outside behind the mansion. He decide he had done enough exploring and returned to the main room, awaiting the arrival of the others.

Serina arrived at the mansion not long after Jack. She was a quiet one so didn't say anything to him. She just maneuvered her way through the grand mansion. she soon found a Cozy room with a fire place it was perfect for her she sat on the bed thinking about the situation they were in.

She thought about her husband to be... Lukas and wondered what sort f person he was. Was he kind or spiteful...tender or rough around the edges, it didn't matter much what he was for she was to be with him no matter what. The idea of arrange marriage to her was a strange one, why would a mother or father be willing to give their child to someone they hardly know.

And also why would they send their child to a mansion with13 other people as well...did all races handle arranged marriages this way or only theirs? These were the things she pondered as she put her clothes away.

"Ztenares Ahoraton Nelamsehon." "Tenares--" "Ztenares." "Right, Ztenares Ahoration Nel....Nel.." "Nelamsehon." "... Right.."

Odette could still hear her mother's gentle voice in her ear, even as her driver sped farther and farther away from the home she had grown up in. A sudden panic gripped her heart, and she shifted around in the backseat to stare longingly out of the back window. Would she ever see her home again? She could just make out her father fading in the distance as he waved from the front porch. He was incredibly proud of her. Odette continued to stare out the window, even as the world started to blur away. As she slowly closed her eyes, warm tears streamed down her face. What if her husband was ugly? Or worse, cruel? Would they be near the same age? Would he even like her? Would they have anything at all in common? Worry, confusion, and fear rose up like Cerberus in her mind. The three headed beast tore away at her enthusiasm and confidence.

Image
Odette pulled her journal out of the seat beside her and opened it up, trying to ease her mind. As she did so, a worn piece of parchment nearly slipped away from her. Surprised, Odette caught the paper and turned it over. It was a note in her mother's handwriting. Things to Remember: 1. Breathe. She had to smile a little. 2. Smile. Her smile began to turn downward, as fresh tears brimmed in her eyes. 3. His name is Ztenares Ahoraton Nelamsehon.

Odette reached up and used her thumb to gently brush away her tears. Thank you, mama. Odette folded and tucked the piece of paper into her journal once more. Words spilled onto the page in bumpy car handwriting for the next hour or so. Once she had her fill of writing, Odette gently placed her mother's note into the book and tied it closed with a leather cord. She decided to pass the time with a small nap, but with her mind so full of thoughts Odette wondered if she would ever get to rest.

"We're here, Miss Kennington." Neal's voice pulled her reluctantly from her dreams. Her blue hues opened, staring at the ceiling of the car. "I've changed my mind. Let's go back." A chuckle came from the front seat. "A little late for that, Miss." "Oh. Well... Alright then, if you're absolutely sure." A soft sigh followed her into a seated position as the car rolled up the long gravel driveway. Trees lined the drive neatly on both sides. Odette's hues took in the growing landscape, the rolling green of the front yard, and the fenced off hills in the distance. "I didn't know they had horses here," she said thoughtfully. "Perhaps this place will be full of surprises, Miss." "Perhaps.."

The car came to a stop, and Neal was kind enough to get the door for her. As she stepped out, the life time friend and butler could only chuckle at the girl. "What?" "Miss Kennington, where on Earth are your shoes?" "I packed them," she replied simply, as if that were completely logical and obvious. Neal gave her a skeptical look, and then shook his head. "I'll get your bags." The weather was incredibly nice outside, with a warm summer breeze and not a single dark cloud in the sky. Odette made her way into the mansion, finding that the brass key she as given was not needed due to the doors already being unlocked. "The letter said to just... pick a room," she said, eyes scanning over the entry room. "Lead the way."

With Neal following close behind with her bags, Odette made her way through the rooms on the west side of the house. It didn't take her long to find a lovely room just to her liking. After a tearful goodbye to her faithful friend, Odette was left alone in the room. The room was large, much larger than the room at her family's home. She had chosen a room on the west side for one particular reason; sunset. From her balcony she would be able to watch the sun dance away from the moon every evening. The room was decorated in a blue and white color scheme, aside from the mahogany furniture frames. She noticed too that her room was directly connected to a private bathroom which was equally as impressive as the bedroom. Decorated in mermaid and oceanic themes, with a Victorian architectural layout, the bathroom was just as lovely as her room.

Leaving the bathroom, Odette strolled out onto her balcony by pushing open the double doors that led outside. The air was quite warm, but the lightness of her flowing white dress kept her cool. She stood there, watching a herd of deer grazing lazily in the distance for some time before deciding that she should probably freshen up and go see if anyone else had arrived. Reluctantly leaving the scenic view, she tiptoed into her bathroom and took a gander at her reflection. Aside from her car/bed head, she looked alright. Her cheeks were a little warm in color, from sleeping against her arm but that would fade. Odette rummaged through one of her trunks before finding a brush. After making sure she was presentable, she made her way across the room to the door. She was just about to leave when she remembered the look on Neal's face. Shoes. Right. Retreating back into the room, she fished out a pair of white sandals and slipped them on. There. Shoes.

Once fully dressed, and decent, Odette made her way from her room back to the main room. It was on her trip back to the entrance that she really realized how big the mansion really was. I wonder if anyone has ever gotten lost.. She would probably never know. As she rounded the corner to the double stair case that led down to the main floor, she noticed a blonde headed boy just disappearing from her sight. Her heart clutched in her chest. Was that him? Taking a slow and deep breath, she pulled her courage together and proceeded down the stairs with her hand guided by the wooden railing. As she reached the bottom, she caught sight of the boy again, walking with his back to her. "Excuse me," she called, slowly releasing the banister. "Are you here with the arrangement?" What a stupid question, Odette.. look at his clothes, does he look like a butler to you? Of COURSE he is here with the arrangement. Stupid girl.

Odette managed to keep her expression relevant to her question instead of revealing the internal lashing she was giving herself. "I'm Odette Kennington," she added, as if that might repair some of the previous damage to his first impression of her. "You must have arrived just before me... Did you have far to travel?" Much better. Now you sound like an educated young lady, and not a blundering idiot.

Jack had just walked back into the main room when a girl that he hadn't even noticed had arrived called out to him.

"Excuse me," she called, slowly releasing the banister. "Are you here with the arrangement?"

"Oh, yes I am. I'm Jack Green, Its a pleasure to meet you" He said with a smile after turning around to face her. Jack bowed slightly to her, something he had been taught to do when meeting new people instead of shaking hands. I probably sound like one of those stuck up up rich people i despise so very much...

"I'm Odette Kennington," The young woman said. She wasn't jacks bride to be, but he was still excited to be meeting someone new.

"You must have arrived just before me... Did you have far to travel?"

" It took me around three days to get here, so i guess I did travel pretty far. What about you? " He said with a slight chuckle. Jack tried to be as friendly as possible to all people. He wasn't about to make any enemies while he was here, that wouldn't be too good of an idea.

Just as Jack had finished speaking his tiny, fluffy, white kitten Bella practically slid into the room running directly into his legs. Such a silly, silly kitten...

"Oh, this is Bella." He said holding the small kitten up then letting her up on his shoulder where she then meowed at Odette, probably saying hello in her own way.

Miss Elizabeth Aurora Beckett looked around. She was stood at the back entrance to the mansion, and the suns light above her beat relentlessly down. It was a warm day; humid and hot. If she was human, a sheen of sweat might have covered her pale brow, but the immortality that her vampirism offered kept her cool at all times. Elizabeth Aurora was leaning against the stable wall, watching the horses with a slightly absent gaze. She remembered when she had been younger. She had enjoyed riding. The vampire set her gaze on a particular stallion that had caught her eye - a blue dun with silver dappling - and promised herself she'd take time out to meet the animal properly.

Animals. The vampiress found her attention caught by Vixen the ocelot, who took the opportunity to take an athletic leap on top of a shelf, miss, fall, and land unceremoniously in a pile of hay. Elizabeth giggled, and the sound was light and feminine, but had a dark edge that warned of her lack of humanity. She leaned over, and scooped the young cat up into her arms. The cat purred, knocked her head against her chin, and then settled over Elizabeth's shoulder like a baby.

Then Miss Beckett remembered her appointment in the mansion itself and entered through the back door. Once inside, she let Vixen down, and then took some fresh fish from the refrigerator. It did occur to her that perhaps they were supposed to eat the fish for whatever passed for the last meal of the day here, but she decided that her ocelot would be better off with it. The little cat caught the scent immediately, and followed her promptly as she went in search of a bedroom.

Elizabeth Aurora smirked as she walked up the stairs to the bedroom floor, and it was only then she spared a thought for her husband to be. She knew his name was Nikolai Negrescu. It was an attractive enough name, and she hoped that he would live up to it. So, each time she looked into a bedroom, she held him in mind...when she wasn't thinking about her own comfort.

Eventually, Miss Beckett decided on a large chamber, with another door feeding off from it which she assumed was a bathroom. The entire room was in shades of red and black, which suited her perfectly. The furniture, for the most part, was made out of dark wood. The style was traditional mixed with a sense of the present day. The windows were curtained with a light material, and they were drawn. She frowned. The day was hot enough, without stopping the air flow. In one movement, the vampire opened the curtains, and then the window. Cool air flooded the room, and she nodded to herself, and then remembered the fish.

The vampiress took a look around, then took a decorative bowl down from a shelf. Ocelot looked up at her hopefully, with wide pleading eyes as she put the fish in the bowl, then put it down on the ground near the window seat. Vixen purred with appreciation as she set to the fish, and Elizabeth Aurora smiled, and took a seat on one of the luxurious sofas.

He wasn’t really sure what to think. In a way, he was grateful to get away from his home that he had been trapped in for so long. He never was able to leave when he was younger, or even when he got older. His parents were always so strict towards him, in order to keep their reputation amongst everyone else. A badly behaved child would do nothing good for them...but now, they were desperate to get any good attention they could after the incident for which they were accused. That included sending off their only child to get a new partner. Briefly, he wondered if his parents had thought about him at all during their decision. Had they even once wondered whether he would be happy about their decision? Had they even considered how he would feel?

No, of course not. They were selfish, and were only doing this so that they could gain respect among their peers once more. He didn’t want to get his hopes up by believing that his parents had done this for him...he knew that he was only important to them because he would later take their place in the council they were a part of. These thoughts occupied his mind for most of the trip to the mansion. He wasn’t exactly sure what to expect, though he was almost certain that he would be driven insane by the company of eleven other people, not even including whatever people would be brought along by the other grooms and brides.
Kylar reached a thin hand up towards his head, running his fingers through his messy off-white hair. Out of habit, he grabbed the few strands covering his pointed ears, and tucked them away. His parents had always taught him to be proud of his race. As soon as the memory of the manner he was taught came to mind, he frowned slightly, and brushed his hair back to its original place, though his ears still showed. He wanted to abandon all aspects of his old life. He didn’t want to be reminded of what he had been like before.

His hands rested on his knees, he lightly tapped his fingers out of nervousness as he stared out at the approaching mansion. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out the neatly folded piece of paper, opening it and staring at the few words written on it.

“Victorique Fiammata Aria de Wayrin”

It was all he knew about her. He had no idea what she looked like, what she acted like...he didn’t even know what race she was. All he knew was that she was his new partner.

Kylar grimaced slightly at the thought of being with someone that he hardly knew. Sure, they were staying in the mansion for the amount of time just for this reason, but what if after awhile, he still didn’t like her? What if she was loud and annoying? What if she was stupid and impulsive? He just knew that this wasn’t going to end well.

The vehicle began to come to a stop. As it paused in front of the mansion, he took a deep breath, staring out at the building. Opening his door, he put the paper back in his pocket, and stepped over to the back seat, taking out his few bags. He slung them over his shoulder, and then grabbed his last iteall m. A thick leather-bound book, filled with loose papers with writing in various languages. He hardly glanced at the driver before turning and leaving towards the home. It was quite warm outside, nothing he wasn’t used to, however he felt as if he was suffocating. Probably because of the dark clothing he had chosen to wear. He was wearing a white button-up shirt, a fine black jacket, and black pants as well.

Kylar walked up towards the tall doors, noticing that they were already partially ajar. Others had already come in before him. He slipped inside, and upon entry, the first thing he noticed was how high the ceiling was. Even more vaulted than his own home. There was a large chandelier hanging from the ceiling, and a grand staircase that probably lead up to all of the rooms. There were a few people in the main room nearby, already talking amongst themselves. Kylar glanced at them indifferently, then turned away and made his way up the stairs without so much as a hello or a friendly smile towards them.

He carried his book close to his body, for it was his most precious possession, and walked by each of the rooms, glancing into them as he went by. Some were already claimed, yet he soon found a room that was a empty, save for a carved wooden desk pressed up against the wall, and bed dressed in deep blue sheets. The whole room was a tone darker than most, for the curtains were closed and only a bit of light was able to filter through. He put his bags on the bed and rested his book on the desk, looking around briefly. There were a few candles placed on the bedside table and various shelves around the room. He was glad for that, for candlelight always seemed to soothe him in even the worst situations.

He pressed his index finger and thumb close together, rubbing them slightly. A tiny flame conjured itself on his fingertip, appearing to have almost burned through his skin in order to get there. He lowered it down to the candle, lighting it, then picked up the candle and carried it over to the other ones around the room, lighting them as well. Afterwards, the whole place seemed to have a warm glow. Kylar thought for a moment about going down to where the rest of the people were to see if his future partner was here yet, but decided against it. He wasn’t much in the mood for speaking now.

He pulled away his desk chair and sat down, opening his book and setting out some of the pages he had been working on. He figured that he might as well try to relax a bit before going and doing anything.

    IONELA SANDRA DALAKIS
      professional bodyguard

      Gods, she really hated this.

Pale, thin fingers plucked a cigarette from crimson lips as the woman sighed through the smoke, tossing the cigarette onto the floor and crushing it with the toe of sleek black heels. A curse flew from the Romanian woman's lips as she looked at the building before her.

This whole frigging idea was a waste of time. And Ionela Sandra Dalakis was pissed off enough to punch someone.

I mean, who did arranged marriages these days? Ionela sighed, folding her arms. She felt like she was in the dark ages. Whatever possessed the parents of these brats to set this whole thing up was beyond her. The poor kids didn't even know much about the person they were going to get hitched to. What an awful, awful idea, and for a moment the vampire was grateful that she wasn't here to get hitched. No, that was Jack's job. She was just here to protect his sorry butt.

Ionela had been running late due to other preparations that needed to get done (aka the purchasing of several weapons and the like) and her charge had gone to the blasted mansion before her instead of waiting like a good boy. But then again, he always liked making her job harder, didn't he? 'They always do' Ion thought, motioning for one of the mansion's staff to come grab her bags as she tossed another the keys to her sleek, black Lamborghini. A quick, serious threat and the baring of some sharp teeth was all it took to reassure the fellow that if her car got one dent in it she would tear his heart out and feed him to some animal. A disembodied growl behind her sent the man running.

"Easy there, Kage," Ionela told her shadow, which, for a moment, pulsed and shuddered as if to respond to her command. For a moment, one could see a set of six eyes, crimson and burning with bloodlust and malice, staring back at the woman before they disappeared and her shadow was back to normal.

With a sigh, she turned back to the building. Might as well go and see how the brat was doing. The term 'brat' had grown into something of a word of endearment when talking about her charge, as over the past three years she had grown attached to him. She had worked for his family for years before but never really interacted much with them, save for the regular business transactions. He was really a sweet kid, and almost pure in a way that made Ion a little protective over him. He grew up indoors, sheltered from society in a life free from bloodshed. And in a way he looked up to her like an older sister. It was... odd.. to be cared about, but at the same time it was a warm, comfortable sensation. And a part of her actually feared Jack's reaction to seeing her darker tendencies.

The bodyguard entered the mansion through the main door, not bothering to take off her suit jacket. The tall, slender woman was dressed in a dark suit and tie, dark sunglasses completing the almost stereotypical bodyguard look. But she honestly didn't care. She liked suits. Brushing back a few strands of her platinum blonde, almost white hair she strolled somewhat casually into the main room. She could do a sweep of the mansion after she confirmed the status of her charge.

As she removed her glasses, blood-red eyes scanned the room, taking note of the others in there. First was Jack, who seemed engaged in polite conversation with the girl Ionela quickly identified as Odette Marie Kennington. Angel. Not his bride, but Ion still read the file on her. He was fine, which was a good sign. He even had Bella with him (Ion loved that cat, but she would never admit it). She bowed her head slightly to the two of them.

"Apologies for interrupting," Ionela said, her voice smooth but somewhat cold. "But I came to inform the Young Master that I have arrived." She looked over to Jack and pursed her lips. It was odd calling him 'Young Master,' as most of the time she called 'brat' or 'kid' or something like that. Young Master sounded ridiculous coming out of her mouth.

"Sir, I am going to do a sweep of the mansion." 'Sir' sounded just as stupid as 'Young Master.' "I shall meet up with you soon enough." Though her tone was calm and polite, she seemed to give him a look that said 'Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone, bean pole.' A business smile graced the attractive young woman's lips and she rose, exiting the room.

Her travelling throughout the mansion wasn't wandering, but rather a tactical sweep. She had already gone over the blueprints of the building, but it was still important to gain her bearings. After a few rounds, she had already memorized the basic layout and was timing herself on how long it took to get to one point and the next. The bulletproof glass had been installed per her request, which was good to hear, but the large windows that filled some of the hallways still bothered her. It was too easy to make a kill. Call her paranoid, but she had only just recently become a bodyguard. Her life before had been on the other side of the spectrum; an assassin. She had been a damned good one too. But that was a conversation for another occasion, right now she had more important things to deal with.

Ionela paused in her tracks when she noticed the presence of another female vampire in the hall. Studying the young girl's face for a moment, the bodyguard quickly ID'd her as Natasha Hope. Jack's future wife. She had done some research on the girl. Human until the age of sixteen when she was attacked and converted. A fledgling in the eyes of an ancient creature such as Ionela. She sighed, putting on her classic business smile and approaching the younger girl.

"Natasha Hope?" Ionela called out somewhat politely, extended her hand to shake. "Ionela Sandra Dalakis, professional bodyguard. Pleasure to make your acquaintance. If my memory serves me well, you are engaged to my charge, Jack Green, correct?"

    ZTENARES AHORATON NELAMSEHON

      just call him "ARES"

If there was ever a time Ztenares was regretting his decision to go through with this thing, it was now.

The young man walked down the long, gravel driveway that lead to the rather grandiose mansion silently, wrapping his tan trench coat around himself nervously. For a moment he paused to look up at the dull, gray overcast, deep blue eyes blank as the faintest of frowns tugged at his lips. He didn't mind the rain except when he was caught in it, and it was beginning to smell like rain. The last thing he wanted to do was get soaking wet right before he arrived at this place.

Ztenares sighed as he quickened his pace, but the boom of thunder in the distance quickly eliminated the idea of flying the rest of the way. He had gotten struck in mid-flight a few times in his life and he was quite sure that he'd die happy if he was never hit again. But at the same time, what would people think if he showed up the way he was now with his five-o-clock shadow and his slightly disheveled hair? He should have taken the time to make himself look somewhat presentable, but he had gotten so nervously earlier that he had lost track of the time.

Which was why he was running late now.

Really, the only reason he had agreed to this was because it was the closest thing he could get to an olive branch between him and his parents. They had been less than pleased when he up and left, interacting with all the races they deemed 'beneath' angels. But after years of travel, Ztenares was honestly beginning to have some doubts about the idea that angels were superior. He wasn't sure what to think quite yet, but he was getting to the point where he felt that he shouldn't think like his parents. It seemed... wrong, in some way he couldn't yet understand. It just didn't sit well with him. But no doubt his parents ensured that his new 'wife' would be the same species as his. Not that he blamed his fiance or anything, but he was more interested in learning of the other races that would be staying in the mansion.

His approach to the mansion stilled his thoughts, and Ares paused at the door before him. His stomach was doing somersaults due to his nervousness, but reluctantly, he reached out and grabbed the handle, pulling to open it.

      It wouldn't budge.

For a moment Ares paused, staring at the door blankly. Was it stuck. He tugged again, but it wouldn't open. So then he pushed, but still, it wouldn't budge.

      The door was locked.

"Hello?" The male angel called out somewhat hesitantly, hoping someone would hear him. It would start raining soon, and he didn't want to be around when it did. He preferred watching the rain, not being in it. Another crack of thunder startled him and the angel jumped, looking around before sighing. Looks like he would have to find another way in. Maybe through the roof... the angel looked up, sighing once more before getting ready to fly.

Removing his jacket, Ares let his wings stretch out, looking the three pairs over for a moment, stroking the feathers to align them. He considered himself a freak of sorts, possessing six wings instead of the regular two, but his parents often tried to assure him that they were a blessing rather than a curse. But the linger doubts and feelings of inferiority were still there, no matter how much his family tried to dispel them. Silently he took to the air, gracefully ascending before landing on a ledge of one of the windows to the mansion. The room that this window belonged to was hidden by thick curtains, but Ares could make out a small light coming from inside. Maybe... maybe there was someone in there. Someone who could help.

"Hello?" His voice was deep, but it was soft. He lightly rapped his knuckles on the window. "Is someone in there? Can you help me? I'm kind of... locked out."

Odette shifted her weight from one hip to the other and offered the blonde male, who she came to know as Jack, a kind smile. " It took me around three days to get here, so i guess I did travel pretty far," Jack informed her. "Three days? Goodness, that does seem like quite the trip." "What about you?" "I'm not entirely sure... I think my mother laced my tea with sleeping formula before I left... I could have slept for a few hours, or a few days. Either way, I suppose it's better that I don't know where I am, in case I get any crazy ideas about running off." The last part was meant as a joke, but somewhere in those aquatic hues the seriousness of her statement showed through.

Just then, an unexpected feminine voice from behind her caused her to jump a little. "Apologies for interrupting, but I came to inform the Young Master that I have arrived," the female stated. She was just coming out of a slight bow, but something about the way she carried herself once she was standing tall again made her submissive tone turn dark. Odette glanced behind her to Jack, and the look on his face confirmed that he was the 'young master' the woman was referring to. Turning back to the strikingly beautiful woman, Odette offered her a smile. "I'm Odette Kennington, and you were certainly not interrupting..."

Her words seemed lost on the woman, as the female addressed her 'young master' once more, "Sir, I am going to do a sweep of the mansion. I shall meet up with you soon enough." Then, just as quickly as she had manifested, the woman was gone. At a loss for words, Odette turned back to Jack. At his ankles a fluff ball of white had appeared. An adorable mew indicated it's feline genetics. Jack seemed rather pleased to have the creature near him, and scooped it up into his arms. [b]"Oh, this is Bella," he explained, obviously meaning the kitten that was now on his shoulder. Odette smiled and walked gracefully over to the pair. It's not that she actively tried to be graceful, it was just a pleasant side effect of her breeding. "Well, hello there Bella. My name is Odette. A pleasure to meet you," she cooed to the tuff of fur beside Jack's neck.

Turning her blue orbs back to the man, she regarded him questioningly. "I was not aware that bodyguards were needed here. Do you know something I don't know about the safety of the mansion?" Her head fell to one side in an unspoken question mark. It was incredibly odd. Sure, they were meeting strangers but surely the staff of the mansion would be plenty to keep everyone settled. Not to mention... they were all here for the same purpose; what would be the point in fighting? Was a bodyguard necessary? These questions turned over in her mind multiple times, and a sliver of worry began to grow up her spine. She hadn't thought to bring any sort of weaponry, and to be completely honest she was certainly not a fighter. She was a healer. A peaceful person. Weapons and bodyguards...? What kind of place did he think this was, anyway?

Image

She was beginning to think that she should probably distance herself from this one. Despite his charming and good nature thus far, if he had a bodyguard then perhaps there was a reason to why he needed one in the first place... and she did not want any part in that. "Well, Mr. Green, I won't keep you any longer. It was certainly pleasant to meet you." She didn't want to leave the main room, and miss meeting her husband when he arrived, so she decided to take the time she had to explore the vast entry. Along one of the walls were rows and rows of books, and elegant leather couches and chairs were periodically placed under the arch of the double stairs. Perfect.

Strolling over to the wall of books, Odette began to search for something that might be of interest to her. Delicately, her fingertips glided along the spines of the old novels. 'The Great Gatsby.' A smile broke the gentle line of her lips. Yes. With great care, she slid the novel from it's home and carried it to one of the leather couches. As she sat down, she took note of the front doors which were located just ahead of her. This spot would do just fine. With one last glance over at the blonde with the bodyguard, whom she had decided to distance herself from in case his woman-power decided that she was threat, Odette opened the novel and began to read. Of course she had read this particular story time and time again, but when it's a favorite; it never gets old. Just then a sudden crack of thunder boomed over the mansion, echoing through the lonely hallways. Odette jumped just slightly at the sudden sound, and glanced up from her book. That's odd, she thought to herself, just a moment ago it was perfectly sunny outside, without a cloud in the sky... A thunderstorm on their first night here in the mansion? That could not be a good sign...

Serina sat in her bay window watching everyone arrive wondering every time a car drove up if her husband to be was in that car. She wondered what he'd be like. She was indeed an angel and knew their reputation to being pompous and stuck up and most of them were, but she was of a different breeding, full angel but her father taught her differently. Taught her to care or others and ignore status quos. So she thought of how her father would be disappointed if he knew she was sitting in her room scared and antisocial.

So she took a deep breath and walked down the stairs towards the voices entering the room with the others and smiled a weak smile saying "hello" softly

It was a particularly sunny day, and one thing of note to be seen was a large black shaggy mutt of a dog running across town. He didn’t stop for more than a second, before running again almost like he was running from something. Folks around town thought he was one of the town drunk’s mutts, but he didn’t even know the hound in question. The dog’s shadow appeared on the door, and as the moments passed it grew in size and form changing from a mutt’s shadow to a man’s. The man was dressed in a black cloak and tall top hat, covering most of his face from the sun’s harsh rays. His hand coated in white silk gloves reached for the doorbell, his figure leaned on the bell until the door was opened for him.

Doesn't anyone invite me in? He asked himself as he peeked into the door. Hath everyone lost that sense of class that I so highly hold dear? It must be so. He remarked to himself and stepped into the mansion. The sun still shinning though the windows, Niko winced and quickly made his way upstairs in hopes of finding the room in which his man had gotten ready for him.
Due to his illness in which he suffers, he had to insure a room was already ready for him with the proper precautions. Such as thick black velvet curtains lining the windows, and that the modern convinces were not too complex for his old mind to comprehend. As he looked for the door his man had marked with his family crest, he reached into his pocket for the small note card he had written his bride’s name on.

The paper read Elizabeth Aurora Beckett however Niko read, Elisabetta Auroro Beketta in his strong Eastern European accent. He didn’t see anything wrong with this marriage, unlike the younger generation who no doubt felt it was old fashion. However Niko was old fashion, he still dresses the same as he’s done for a hundred years.

A wise man once said madness is doing the same thing over and over again yet expecting a different result. Maybe that man was right after all, he’s been married so many times and what has the result been? He can remember every woman’s name, Ilona, Esmeralda, Lucrezia, Veronica, Sarah, and Remembrance. Is this Elisabetta to be another name on a grave marker, to him?

At last after what seemed like forever searching, he found the room that bared his crest on the door. As he entered the room, a large Siberian husky jumped from the bed and too Niko’s feet. “Marko” the man smiled removing his gloves to pet the dog gently.“Sjedni pas” he said and the dog sat in perfect harmony. “Good dog” he said patting the dog’s head once more before removing his cloak, hat, and gloves and setting them on the bed.

The room looked more like a library then a bedroom, and for all he knew perhaps it truly was. However, it was the room with the least number of windows, and there for fewer curtains hung to the floor. Dark wooden paneling lined the remaining walls, with bookcases filled with more books then Niko cared to read. The room would do him fine, across from his bed sat a cozy fire place and a large black leather chair in front of it. He smiled as his eyes looked back at the small nightstand by the bed.

There were six pictures stretching across the table, the first was a baby portrait of a little girl three to four years old. She was seated on a white bench or table, dressed in white furs and silk. The finest for his little girl! Her hands tucked nicely in a fur muff, of the finest quality.

The next picture was of the same girl older perhaps nine, dressed in what seemed like a white dress and matching vale. Her beautiful eyes that he knew to be blue too busy reading her bible with a sting of rosary beads flowing over top. She was always devoted to religion.

Third, was a school picture of the girl standing in no particular pose, her hands behind her back hair tied up in the latest fashion, tied with a ribbon. Her eyes being not so clever look straight ahead at the camera. A Scholar, if ever he saw one.
The fourth picture was the center piece to the entire arrangement. It was a wedding portrait, as appropriate as it sounds. The girl at this point a woman seated on a bench her legs crossed and wearing a white dress and high heels. Her hair cut short, and mostly covered with a small hat only a few curls were visible. Her eyes addressed the camera, and lips smiled gently as she clutched a large bouquet of white roses at her lap. Jessamine Negrescu Crowley-Knight, his daughter and enemy.

The last two pictures were in frames together the one side of a little boy in a grassy background ridding a tricycle. His foot on the peddle of the large wheel, his socks reaching his knees before his shorts began. Under his chin a large puffy bow, that always made Niko smile when looking at him. This boy had been named for him after all, he was his grandson.
On the other side of the frame sat two girls of similar ages from six to seven, sitting on a bench in a studio wearing white dresses and holding their hands in their laps each of their hair grown short and their eyes addressing the viewer. His granddaughters, whom he always wished to know better.

Blood relations are the most durable and everlastings connections.

Victorique's eyes finally flutter open after several hours of a car-ride induced slumber, a small yawn escaping the slightly parted pink lips. Straightening herself from her former position, Victorique allows her one-eyed gaze to wander around the spacious back of the pitch black limousine, that was, undoubtedly, carrying her to the destination of fate. A frown tugs at her cupid's bow shaped lips at the thought of what "fate" really was. "Fate.." does that mean.. I'm destined to wed someone whom I don't know? Seems illogical.." came an exasperated murmur as Victorique began to speak aloud her thoughts. Trying to find a way to distract her mind from the worst case scenarios about her future husband, the petite Vampiric Elf changed her line of attention to the tinted windows as the chariot passed through wrought iron gates.

No later than 10 minutes had passed before the sight of a peaked black roof materialized through the tops of the leafy canopy above, indicating they were drawing closer. Closing her red eye, Victorique began to try her hand at making the pessimistic thoughts of her new life and husband flee from confines of her mind. She would have stayed like there all day if she could, lost in thought. Unfortunately, those 10 minutes passed by in a blur and before she knew it; Victorique was standing in front of imposing house, her butler gathering her bags. Instinctively, a slender pale hand reaches up gingerly to touch her medical gauze eyepatch, relief filling her body feeling it was still in place. Pausing briefly, Victorique began to ponder what would happen if she absolutely despised her fated-to-be-husband but that moment only lasted briefly as her logical side began to take over. "This is your duty as a not only as lady of upper class but as compensation."came her usual soft voice, the tone reasoning and unwavering. Without a further moment, she delicately and calmly walked up the front stairs to the porch where her butler, holding a suitcase and a duffle bag, proceeded to hold open the door.

The interior of the mansion didn't surprise the doll-like girl in the slightest. In fact, it bore some slight resemblance to her home in France. Giving a slight shake of her head in disappointment at the lack of excitement, Victorique pulls out a simple piece of rectangular paper with rather beautiful scrawling on it that read: Kylar Slayde. "What a...peculiar name.." she whispers softly before following her butler up the stairs.

The small girl paused briefly in the middle of the hallway, trying to get her bearings, before continuing to the room that was designated hers. Giving one last glance around the empty hall, Victorique quickly slipped into the the room, eyes widening at the decor A slight smile appears on her lips knowing who had customized this room to look exactly like her home's in Paris: her aunt. In the midst of her admiration of the likeness, Victorique had almost forgotten her butler's presence until he cleared his throat. Glancing over, the usually-stoic-girl casts him a rather warm half-smile before nodding her head "Do tell my Aunt that I loved her present... and please take care of her." And just like that, her butler, the deliverer of her fate, left the Elfin Vampire's life permanently. Sending yet another cautious glance into the hallway, Victorique quickly closes the door before slumping on her bed.

-----------------------------------------Mint----------------------------------------------------
The small black cat quickly jumps out of the limousine with ease, a small agitated mew slipping through her lips. The feline's black tail flicks in annoyance at being ignored by her master, pouting in a manner of sorts. Without a further ado, Mint gracefully pads into the house and slipping up the stairs before stopping in front of a door and scratching on it, oblivious to the fact it was Kylar Slayde's.

SyKo Kisumiki

SyKo walked around the mansion, tidying things. Honestly, she didn't care all that much, she quickly dusted things and such then made her way to her room. The small girl unlocked the door and walked inside. To her horror there was a brand new mirror by the nightstand. Quickly, she lost control, grabbed it, and threw it on the floor, causing it to shatter into millions of shiny pieces. SyKo backed away from it, making her way towards the bathroom. When she saw the enormous mirror above the ornately carved sink she nearly passed out. She ran towards it, eyes closed and smashed it with her fist, which caused it to bleed. She carefully licked the blood off and ran out of her room.

She sighed. 'Might as well introduce myself to the couples that have arrived..' She thought shakily. So SyKo then went around the mansion, introducing herself to the guests that have arrived.
"Umm...Hello," She said shyly, "I-I'm the maid in the...Err..Mansion. So, if you need anything...J-Just tell me..." She mumbled quietly to each guest as she briskly walked awkwardly around the mansion.

After introducing herself to each of the guests she hurried outside to see where her dragon, Sora, was. "Sora.." She called. Immediatly after, she heard the beating of dragon wings, coming from the North. In a few minutes the bright blue dragon was now sitting infront of her much like a dog. SyKo climed carefully up Sora's scaly back and sat herself atop his neck. His scales glimmered blindingly in the sunlight. Luckily for SyKo, she remembered to wear a hat. SyKo smiled slightly. This was one of the places she was most comfortable in. She felt like she could just forget everything. "Go," she whispered. With a powerful push off the ground and a few flaps from Sora's enormous wings, they were both now airborne. She smiled and closed her eyes. Flying had to be one of the greatest things she had ever experienced. The rush of the air, the whoosh noise in your ears, just the thrill of it all.. It..Just made your heart race.. In a good way of course.

Suddenly, SyKo felt herself falling. She opened her eyes to find herself plummeting to her demise. Unfortunately, she couldn't float while falling, which to her was total bullshit. "Sora!!!" She screamed. The dragon turned around and hurriedly began diving towards SyKo, but it would be too late. Sora was too far away to manage to catch SyKo.. So, SyKo just fell. Hoping that somebody at least, was around to see her pitiful downfall, or to make an attempt to save her..

"Sir, I am going to do a sweep of the mansion."
"I shall meet up with you soon enough."
Ionela said to Jack.

Jack nodded and let her go scope out the mansion. He knew she was too over protective, and he didn't know why. jack want even sure why his family hired her as his personal body guard anyways, he didn't have any enemies. It wasn't like anyone had a legit reason to hurt Jack.

"Three days? Goodness, that does seem like quite the trip."
"I'm not entirely sure... I think my mother laced my tea with sleeping formula before I left... I could have slept for a few hours, or a few days. Either way, I suppose it's better that I don't know where I am, in case I get any crazy ideas about running off."

Jack wondered why her mother would even think about lacing the poor girls tea with sleeping formula. He understood about the whole running away thing, Jack was still thinking about slipping away in the middle of the nigh. He got the feeling that Ionela would hunt him down and drag him back if he did though. Oh well...I guess this thing isn't too incredibly horrible...

"I was not aware that bodyguards were needed here. Do you know something I don't know about the safety of the mansion?"

Jack was about to open his mouth to speak when the young woman started speaking again.

"Well, Mr. Green, I won't keep you any longer. It was certainly pleasant to meet you."

"It's a pleasure to meat you too." Jack managed to say before the young woman scurried off to a bookshelf. Did i scare her or something...? I mean i know I'm not exactly the best and conversing but she looked like she couldn't get away. Oh well, maybe she's just nervous about all of this.

Jack walked over to a large table in the main room and sat down in a chair next to it. He put Bella up on the table and she sat down and got comfortable as Jack took out a pen and a small notepad and began sketching her. He didn't realize his bride had arrived yet so he was spending his time sketching.

Jack remembered that someone had said hello while he was talking to Odette. He looked around then saw the young woman, who he identified as his Bride and walked over to her, bowing slightly , then introducing himself.

The silence lasted for a few minutes, and those few minutes felt eerily similar to how he’d spend his time at his home. He leaned down close to the papers, reading each thing word by word, constantly referring to the few sheets that surrounded the books. It was a slow process, yet worth it. The knowledge he would be able to get from this was always worth it. Familiarizing himself with the ancient spells and stories made him feel much more knowledgeable than any other learning could. He felt like he had something that no one else did...something that was his and his alone.

He couldn’t hear the voices outside, just the flickering of the candles and the scratching noise from the sheets of paper moving against eachother. The silence was relaxing and familiar. Any other aspect of home would have unsettled him, yet this was the one thing he wanted to hang on to. Staring down at his current work, he held the pen in his fingertips, twisting it around nervously. What he was interpreting now was odd, something he hadn’t really seen before. He narrowed his eyes, his mind reeling with recent stories he had read before, trying to make sense of this one. It spoke of a God he had never heard before, nothing that had ever been mentioned. Was this one of the few that had been lost in translation?

Kylar reached for the candle nearby, grabbing the edge of the plate it was sitting on. At that moment, he heard a light tapping noise not far away, as if something or someone was rapping on the window. He tilted his head towards the sound, glaring at the window in confusion. He didn’t even have time to wonder whether it was his imagination, or reality before he heard a voice speak up. It startled him, and he dropped the plate from his hand in surprise, the candle falling out onto the wooden desk, rolling down to the edge. The flame escaped, and jumped towards the dry papers close by, setting the corner of one alight.

He cursed under his breath, pressing his hand down on the flame to suffocate it. His hand burned briefly, and he winced, yet when he lifted it, the flame was gone, the corner of the paper only slightly scorched. Relief washed over him suddenly, and he nearly sat down again until he remembered what the cause of the incident had been. The voice. Kylar turned suddenly, stepping almost cautiously towards the tall window. He clutched onto an end of the dark curtains, and pulled it apart so he could peer through. His light blue eyes met the eyes of another, and he nearly dropped the piece of cloth on impulse, yet kept hanging on.

He spread it wider, then took hold of the other one and pulled that as well, able to have a wide view of who was outside. The first thing he noticed were the feathered wings, not two of them, but...four. No...six. Six wings. The tall elf found himself grinning weakly at this sight, as well as the fact that an angel, who always thought as themselves as so perfect and flawless, was in need of help. The front door was probably locked, and he had no way to get in because of that. Kylar’s smile grew slightly wider because of this, and he just nodded briefly.

“Quite a predicament...” He muttered quietly to himself, his grin fading in almost an instant. He pointed briefly to the direction where the front doors were, signalling that he would go to open them, and dropped the curtains. He turned quickly, too quickly, and hit the corner of the desk by accident. Reaching a hand out to steady himself, he continued again towards his shut door, opening it suddenly. He stopped himself just before he was about to step on a cat. Its black fur stood out against the lightly coloured floor, and his eyes automatically were drawn to it. Rather than feeling hostile towards it as he usually would any animal, he stared down at it for a moment. Did this belong to the mansion, or someone here?

Kylar bent down towards it, strands of his light hair falling in front of his vision. He used a hand to brush his hair away, and then reached it out towards the animal so it could catch his scent. A few seconds after, he lifted his fingers and gently brushed the top of its head. Usually he’d walk away from the cat, but he did the opposite. Wasn’t it time to try new things here? Abandon his old self and do something unknown to him? He had to take small steps, but he did exactly that.

He reached his other hand towards the animal, slipping it underneath its body, and lifted it up gingerly, careful enough to seem as if he was comfortable with animals. Then, letting it lean over his shoulder, set off towards the front doors.

Elizabeth Aurora was laying on her massive bed, in a beam of sunlight that warmed her back. She was armed with a mirror, dancing it in front of the light to create a reflection on the floor in front of her that Vixen chased and pounced upon. She smiled, pure amusement on her face, and watched as the ocelot chased the little mote of light up the curtains, and balanced precariously on the railing. Liz chuckled, and stood, walking to the window which was still open and stood on the window seat to collect the feline from her perch.

It was just then that there was a shy knock on the door and the household servant, as Elizabeth Aurora thought of her, walked into her room and introduced herself. The vampiress rose a brow and nodded, sending her away quietly after asking her politely to return with a bottle of red wine and a glass. During her brief mortal years, Elizabeth had served her time at hard work, and she didn't think that simple housework could be as difficult as that was.

That was when she returned, Vixen in hand, to her bed, and placed the ocelot in the middle to recline as she wished. Then, Elizabeth turned to the wardrobe, opening it, and frowning a little as she peered into its depths. It seemed that most of her clothes had been brought in preparation for her arrival. She nodded, flicking through her belongings, thinking it was about time that she went and met the other beings that she could hear moving around the house. Elizabeth Aurora frowned, and then settled on a slim, body fitting dress that would accentuate her natural feminine curves.

The vampire female then changed slowly, slipping the dress on. She smiled. It smelt of fine luxury and rare fabrics, and that satisfied her cravings for wealth.

Then she slipped some heels on, put her hair up in a light, casual, loose updo. A glance to her pet brought Vixen trotting to her heels as she stepped through the door, out into the corridor beyond, where Vixen then put her nose to the ground to take in all the scents of those who had passed. The ocelot growled slowly, her ears flicking up to Elizabeth Aurora, who frowned and followed the animal as it purposefully trotted down the hallway.

Her footsteps were slow, her heels clicking imperiously on the hard wooden flooring. Then, the ocelot froze outside a door, rubbing against her owners legs, warily keeping away from the doorway itself. Elizabeth Aurora paused, not knowing that it was the door with her husband to be behind it, and then knocked gently, scooping Vixen up into her arms.

Lukas Trettel

“Seascale has been growing really well!” Lukas told his father, practically screaming over the roaring wind. Lukas’s father chuckled.
“You expect anything less?”
The two were on his father’s dragon, Seascale, soaring in the air. Seascale had dark blue scales tinted green and has a 70 foot wingspan, was 3 stories tall at the shoulder and 60 feet from snout to tail. Dragon Riders were to not take any other sort of transportation if their dragon was fly-ready. They were doing a steady 95 mph. Lukas’s dragon Fireworm was in front of Lukas, his back pressed against Luke’s chest. His father was in up front and Lukas was in the back. A dark dot came into sight. The Mansion. They were flying at airplane level, and yet they could still see the roof top. It was when Seascale suddenly turned her head to the side, furled her wings in and dove strait down.

Luke’s father was just as perplexed as Luke was. His, and Fireworm’s, stomachs seemed to rise up as they were plummeting to the ground. Lukas could see another dragon of a blueish hue, with a rider. Luke wondered if Seascale was going to go territorial on the other dragon. But she knew something was going to go wrong. It was not a moment later that the rider seemed to slip off, completely unaware of the fact that she was falling. Seascale passed the other dragon before it even realized it lost its rider. Luke knew if they continued at the rate they were going, Seascale would crash and most likely not save the girl. But Luke had a plan.

“Father! At five stories pull up! I’ve got an idea!” Luke’s father was puzzled, but nodded anyway. Luke could land a ten story drop without breaking anything, but the odds were he would hurt his leg or his ankle. Luke looked at Fireworm. “Grab her shirt collar and slow her decent. I know you won’t be able to carry her. I’ll just need some extra time. Do not let go until I give you the signal.” Fireworm nodded as well and leapt off of Seascale, strait at the falling girl. Luke watched as his little dragon latched onto the back of her shirt collar and flapped with all of his might. Luke looked down as Seascale opened her wings to stop from hitting the quickly rising earth. Lukas swung his leg over and leapt off the dragon and fell five stories to the ground.

He landed on his feet with his knees bent with a thud as a jolt of pain coursed up his ankle. Luke clenched his jaw and leapt to stand back up. He immediately sprinted to where Fireworm was trying to hold the girl. Luke could see his little dragon’s strength diminishing. “Fireworm! Release!” Luke shouted. Fireworm opened his fanged mouth and the girl began to drop again. Right into Lukas’s arms. Luke had to bend his back to make sure he didn’t drop the girl. He straightened back up, with a slight smirk. “Good evening, Miss. Mind if I drop in to crash your party?” Luke joked. He let her back down to her feet. Fireworm then dive bombed onto Luke, making him topple backwards.

“I did it! I did what you told me to! I didn’t let go!” Fireworm cried happily as he began hopping around Luke in a circle. The black and red dragon licked his face and Luke let out a chuckle as he sat up.

“Yes, you did do it. I’m proud.” Luke scooped up his squirming dragon and stood back up, facing the girl who had momentarily been falling to her death. “Are you alright?” Luke asked, making sure to keep most of his weight off of his ankle, which was painfully numb. Luke looked up to see his father waving and Seascale let out a triumphant roar as she darted off into the other direction. The two faded into a distance. “Perhaps we should go inside?” He said letting Fireworm drop back onto the ground as Luke began walking to the mansion, a slight limp prominent in his walk.

SyKo followed Lukas into the mansion. Err..Thank you. Fo-For saving me..." She mumbled shyly, her cheeks turning a slight shade of crimson. She had to admit, he was very handsome. A moment later Sora landed infront of the door and peeked through the window. "Sorry for not being able to reach you in time.." He said apoligeticly. "It's not your fault, I should've been paying more attention.." SyKo trailed off. "Oh. Can you go back to the cave and bring Orangi back? I'd like to see how he's doing." SyKo asked. "Sure." Sora replied, taking off. SyKo turned back to Lukas, blushing once more. "Do you...Um, need anything for your leg?" She asked. "I am the maid here after all.."

Lukas Trettel

“Err..Thank you. Fo-For saving me...” The girl stuttered as she blushed.

Lukas chuckled quietly. It was cute the way she blushed. Fireworm wiggled past Lukas as he opened the door to enter the Mansion. “No need. It was nothing.” Lukas responded with a slight wave.

“Ohhh… such a modest hero…” Fireworm teased. Lukas looked down at the red and black dragon. Lukas could understand Fireworm because he spoke the dragon language. He was pretty sure by the way this girl had been speaking to her other dragon that she could also speak dragon.

“Don’t you have a kitchen to raid?” Lukas muttered as Fireworm hit his head against Luke’s leg. Fireworm scampered off to explore. “Be good and don’t break anything!” Lukas called after him.

"Do you...Um, need anything for your leg? I am the maid here after all.."

Lukas shook his head. “Thank you, but I think I’ll be fine. I’ve been through much worse than this.” Luke shifted his pack on his shoulder. He looked into the main room. He needed to find his future bride. “I’m Lukas by the way. Could you help me find my… spouse? Her name is Serina. She’s an angel. I’d like to meet her.” Luke asked politely. He was dying to meet his “soul mate” as his mother called it.

Serina frowned and bowed her head and headed out of the room towards the door of the mansion seeing as it seemed she wasn't there anyways and her fiancé didn't show she decided to leave.

Letting her large white wings out in the open and stretched them. With a sigh she walked to the door and accidentally ran into Lukas falling backwards rubbing her head and looked up at him "I'm sorry I'm so clumsy" she squeaked softly tears welling up she felt abandoned an now she was so stupid she ran into someone.

Jack finally noticed Ionela standing near his bride. Jack assumes that they must have just met. He hoped that Ionela wasn't scaring her or anything, that wouldn't be good at all.

"Hello, I am Natasha and you must be Jack" The young woman said

"I am most certainly Jack. Its nice to finally meet you. I'd say I've heard so much about you but i really haven't. Ive only known your name up till now." Jack said. It was true that his parents had given him almost no information on the woman he was to marry. They only shared her name and age. He was happy that he could finally actually know what she looked like, he was extra happy that she was in fact quite beautiful.

Jack could tell by her body language that she was getting nervous, to be honest so was he. Jack eyes suddenly got wide as he remembered that he had bought Natasha a 'nice to meet you' gift. He searched around in his pockets and then pulled out a small box containing a delicate silver and diamond bracelet and held it out to Natasha.

"For you." Jack said with a warm smile, hoping she would like it.

Lukas Trettel

"I'm sorry I'm so clumsy." The words came from a beautiful woman that hit her head on Lukas’s chest and bounce right off, falling onto the ground. He could see the tears appearing on the edges of her eyes.

“Hey, it’s alright. I’m Lukas.” He reached down and helped her back to her feet. His eyes darted to the white wings on her back. His gray gaze settled back on her face. “Actually, I don’t think I’ll need your help. I believe I’ve found her.” Lukas looked back at the maid who still hadn’t told him her name. “Are you Serina?” He asked. Lukas hoped he wasn’t mistaken. If he was, well, thinks we’re about to get really awkward.

She truly was beautiful. The bright white from her wings outlined the color of her eyes. She was a bit shorted than him, but Lukas didn't care. A sudden thought hit him. I'm being wed to an angel... I thought that this was only true in my mother's stories... but I guess not... Lukas flashed a warm smile.

Serina bit her lip as she listened to the handsome man speak and when he said his name was Lukas she froze "y...yes I am Serina...ummm you are the one I am to marry?" she stammered inwardly kicking herself at how stupid she was sounding.

She took his hand and stood up and went wide eyed at how tall he was compared to her. She blushed a bit at how handsome he was.

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

No one ever uses this thing .__.

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

XD Ok. Close friend it is then. :P :3

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

Posted ^^

@ChaoticInsanity.
I would rather not have any other romance going on in the rp other than the romance between the brides and grooms. You may however have a close friend if you want. Just not a friend with benefits.

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

Sorry i can't post tonight. I will post tomorrow, I've been a bit busy.

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

:/ Hmm... Yeah, I guess that kinda makes sense.. Does a friend-with-benefits fall under couple? XD (No I'm not talking about THAT kind of benefits.. ewe xD) I mean, they're gonna be friends, but with a couple benefits and stuff, no serious relationship, no marriage, just friendship with benefits? <:D

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

That makes sense....

so ChaoticInsanity If I do make a new character which I'm thinking I still might they would be strictly platonic.

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

I'm pretty sure boyfriend falls under 'couple'... I'm not trying to be rude, but if you're looking for a couple relationship, then maybe you should try another role play because rar has already said that all the couple positions are filled, and you knew when you submitted your character that she wasn't going to have a spouse...

There were other people who wanted to join this role play as brides, who didn't get to because the roles filled up. It would be unfair to them to let you pair yourself up. Rar's the GM, so... If they say that the max has been reached, then I'm sorry but.. it's been reached. There are plenty of role plays out there for couples.

Again, I'm not trying to be mean >.< I just don't think it's fair to anyone who didn't get a bride spot and wanted one.

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

Well...It wouldn't necessarily be a groom.. It could be more like a boyfriend instead..Is that ok?

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

@rariszoo: no it wouldn't be a groom...

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

@ ChaoticInsanity & Forget~Me~Not.

I am sorry but this rp has already reached its max number of brides and grooms. I will not be accepting any more couples into the RP. Sorry.

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

@Forget~Me~Not
Thanks! :D Use the pic I put kay?

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

@ChaoticInsanity: I could make one if you want.

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

Oh! I have an idea! (If it's ok with rariszoo) If somebody could be nice and make a suprise spouse for SyKo that'd be neat.. owo I'm feelin' kinda left out since everyone else has a spouse.. :s :P I think it would be cute.

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

@Thadine, lol thanks ^-^ Yeah, Odette is an active people-watcher.. Just sits in the back of the room, feigning interest in her book that she hides behind while she mentally narrates and questions everyone's actions. I'm glad I could provide a good laugh for you. ^-^

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

I'm actually laughing at your post right now.
She just analyzes everything, from wondering why people are apologizing certain ways, to how others could possibly know someone's name/face without being introduced...

It's kind of hilarious. xD

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

...... >.< give me a minute to edit my post. While I was typing about four of you added other one paragraph posts that I need to address in mine or I feel terrible for ignoring your actions... gah.

EDIT: Nevermind, everything that was said wasn't that important in regards to no one interacting with Odette so I'm going to leave the post as it stands. She can just be tuning everyone out xD

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

Sorry for not posting! My mom has been "surprising" me with new rules and other crap, like not being able to use the computer until after I finish my homework. I was out of the house for the entirety of Sunday. I working on a post right now. Sorry!

EDIT: I hope that post came out Ok. No one else rescued Syko right? I hope not >.<

Re: Married To A Stranger -Remake-

My post is up! ^^ It's kinda crappy though...I'm not that good of a writer! DX Hopefully it's decent.. :s Oh, and can everyone look at SyKo's profile? I edited it a bit ago and added some stuff. :3

SKITTLES!!! :D
