"She's really pretty." Lukas glanced at his dragon, who was curling up on the bed.
"That's not exactly all that you look for in a human girl." Lukas chuckled and sat on the edge of his bed and patted his dragon.
"That's how it works with dragons. The ones with the prettiest and shiniest scales get the most lovers usually." Fireworm shrugged.
"When did you become the Romance Advisor?" He joked, poking his dragon's nose. Fireworm wrinkled his nose and then covered it with his tail. "I'll call you when dinner is done."
Fireworm nodded as his eyelids drooped and he dozed off. Lukas got up slowly, not wanting to wake him up. He walked out of the room, and closed the door, but he didn't know how much it would do considering there was a giant hole in it. Lukas walked down the stair quietly and looked around. He hadn't seened very much of the other couples he was staying in the mansion with. He shrugged and walked into the kitchen, where he saw Serina and the Maid cooking dinner.
"Good evening ladies." Lukas said, a pinch of humor present in his speech. "What will we be eating this fine afternoon?" He asked, still joking a bit about his formality.
She then turned to Serina. "Oh.. Er," She mumbled biting her bottom lip. She sighed. "I'm extremely afraid of... S-Storms. I hug my knees in a corner and have huge panic attacks.... I usually start to hallucinate too.. Deep down on the inside I really am going mad..." She said quickly, trying not to think about the past.
Natasha felt a little excited when she heard that her fiancĂŠe had a zoo, Natasha smiled again, "Life at home? Well I come from a little country than I moved to the city, My Mother is a little," Natasha sighed "She just wants the best for me, I would have liked to see Jacks face when she told him that her Bride to be is a vampire.
"How about you?"
Natasha saw a maid ask all the couples what they wanted for tea, Natasha was pondering what to have, she would have to go and eat a proper meal later... By that she meant blood...
Natasha thought about her family... She missed her family, her Father she missed a little, her sister she dearly missed, Her brother she missed but her mother... She wasn't missing at all. Natasha smiled at Jack again, what was she meant to say?
Natasha started to get nervous again, she blurted out with out thinking "What do you like?" She blushed, Natasha assumed as they would be husband and bride she should at least what her husband liked.
Natasha smiled at Jacks cat "you have a very lovely cat, where did you get her?" Natasha was quite happy changing the subject.
Natasha wondered if Jack was hungry, maybe. Natasha smiled at the maid "Hello I am Natasha and this is Jack" Natasha felt wired introducing the both if them, She guessed she would have to get used to it.
"How about you?"
"Well, its just my dad and i at home, my mother died when i was young. My father is uh....sort of...overprotective and strong willed i guess. You'll see what i mean when you meet him...dont be surprised if he basically interrogates you." Jack said sighing at the last part. His father was a bit hard to deal with when it came to people getting close to Jack. He was just trying to be a good father and protect his son, but it didn't always work well.
A maid walked in and asked about what they wanted for dinner. And Natasha asked Jack what he liked. Jack just told the young maid that he would have whatever was easiest for her to make. He didn't want to bother her with individual orders
you have a very lovely cat, where did you get her?"
"I actually found her abandoned on the streets one day, It was storming outside and i passed this little box and heard her crying. She had to be barely a week old. I couldnt just leave her there so i picked her up, took her home, and nurtured her. Shes been my non-stop companion ever since. " Jack said smiling slightly, remembering raising Bella into the kitten she was now.
Natasha introduced herself and Jack to the maid and Jack gave a friendly wave to the young woman.
She then looked at SyKo "oh god hun I'm so sorry,I'm terrified of storms as well. No one should be alone during them...so umm during the next one come see me or umm us" she said glancing at Lukas "you don't have to deal with them by yourself you have friends here" she said softly with a warm smile to her new friend.
"Well everyone ordered something different, darlin. Since you didn't order anything specific I was thinking we could split some comfort food." Serina replied.
Lukas didn't care. "Well whatever it is it smells delicious." He smiled drinking in the scent of the cooking food. He walked over to the two girls and gave Serina one of the those hugs-from-behind. He kept his arms wrappedd around her, but loosened his grip enough so he wasn't necissarily squeezing her tightly.
He rested his gaze on the maid again. "Looks like both or you are petrified of storms, huh? I wonder if that's common..." Lukas wondered.
Hello miss, I believe you are my to be bride?
Rose looked away from the man and sighed. Then a thought popped in her head, Oh right, the old man told me to be 'polite'. Rose rolled her eyes at herself and looked at her fiance. She flashed him a cold smile and began introducing herself. "My name is Rose Levesque." Rose said quickly and calmly in a small voice. She clearly isn't talkative. When he mentioned her being a vampire, her eyes slightly widened and she shot her eyes towards him. A flash of lighting and thunder struck and her face calmed slightly. "I don't know what you're talking about." Rose was glad that he left, she didn't want to have to 'explain herself'. Rose's servants bowed slightly to her before returning to the limo and leaving. Rose thought about her fiance a bit and sighed. Father and I had a deal... I could choose my own husband he told me. But I guess that promise broke quickly. Rose grimaced at the thought, but decided to shake it off.
When J-H returned, Rose began feeling uneasy again and was about to leave until a female vampire asked her what she wanted to eat. She raised an eyebrow at SyKo and turned to J-H when he was talking to her. "I'm not hungry." Rose stood up and shot one last small glare at the female vampire and walked up to her room, being greeted by her tiger, Khalla. She gently took the multicolored roses from her hair, and placed them gently on the end table beside her bed. Rose untied her silk band, that was wrapped gently around her delicate head and she placed it on the roses. Rose placed her hand on her bed letting, Envy, the extremely long, snow white snake slither out onto the bed and do as she pleases. Rose didn't bother ordering her servants to unpack her bags, she wanted to organize her new room perfectly. She reached into one of the luggage and found a tiny light purple bag. She opened it up, and pulled out a long black ribbon, thick enough to tie up her curly, thick hair. She tied a perfect ponytail at the back of her head, making a perfect bow and she smiled at herself in the large mirror. She began unpacking her bags. I'm glad I can see myself in mirrors... However, I heard that the more elder vampires lose that privilege over time. Rose shrugged and began to hang her long, expensive and Victorian era dresses neatly in the huge closet, and placing the less important clothing in the large dresser.
- Washed his face
- Cleaned his hoodie so there were no grass stains
- Practiced saying phrases he was likely to use in the mirror.
Informality? Niko wasnât sure what she meant by that, he had gone through the formality so many times he tends to forget others view on formality. âSuch a western idealno, dragi moj.â He has never gotten on his knees for a woman, such a thing seemed like a sign of weakness to him. Then again he had never had to beg a woman to marry him, they had always been arranged.
âI razumjeti, where you are coming from Elisabetta; however such a thing is not customary to me.â True it might be in his county at this time, but Niko still holds traditions of the older generations in his habits. To him what they were doing now was no different than what everyone did when he was young, of course back than he wouldnât have met her until the wedding but still.
âItaly?â he nodded, and tried to convey a few words he knew in that language which wasnât much, considering the last time he visited the country a dictator ruled with an iron fist, and he didnât get much of a chance to vacation in the war zone. âLei è molto bellaâ he spoke his thick creation accent struggling with the Italian words.
Rose had changed into more modern and comfortable clothing. She was wearing a tight black tank top and dark purple silk pajama pants. As Rose was unpacking her things, she heard a knock on her door.
Hello Rose? Is it okay if I come in?
Rose swung her head towards the door and sighed. Rose walked towards the door and opened it. He seemed as though he had recently cleaned himself up. Rose raised an eyebrow, thinking he looked slightly different, but she looked different herself, without all the fancy roses in her hair, having it only in a simple ponytail. Rose moved closer towards J-H, but only so she could close the door behind her, leaving them both in the hallway. Rose twirled her thick, tied up hair around her fingers and looked away. "I don't think you want to meet my... friends yet." Rose lightly grabbed onto his sleeve and walked away from her room. Rose spoke up once more, but quietly. "If you want to talk to me, it should be in your room." Rose looked at J-H with her unique colored eyes.
He gently took Rose's hand in his. "So, would you wish to come to my room?" He immediately blushed, feeling ashamed with the way he was talking. So uptight!
Rose tilted her head slightly when J-H frowned, but she brushed it off. Rose smirked and said, "My friends are vicious. I can't guarantee that they won't bite." Rose smiled at J-H sweetly, but devilishly. Rose noticed that J-H was looking right into her eyes, and she blinked a few times, slightly confused. Could he... No. I doubt he'd fall for me that quickly. Rose was snapped out of her thoughts when J-H gently took her soft hand in his, and she looked up at him.
So, would you wish to come to my room?
Rose nodded lightly and quietly stated, "I guess." Rose smiled at his bright cheeks and chuckled lightly. "Lead the way, sir." Rose said in a formal, but joking fashion. She surprisingly didn't pull her hand away from him, as she waited for him to lead her to his room.
The fiance in particular was quite old fashioned. He liked that. Her Victorian era dress slid along behind her, almost as if the skirts were cloth snakes, and her bare feet showed the wear of constant use on all surfaces, but still looked dainty. The roses in her hair complimented her eyes, and the hair did too. J-H realised he was overthinking her and looking at her too frequently, and stopped doing it until he got to his door. "This is my room here." He grinned, and opened the door for her.
His room was tidy so far, so he didn't have to worry about anything embarrassing like boxers on the bed, or books all over the floor. That probably wouldn't last long. He closed the cupboard door however, because that was a bit messy. Plonking himself down on the bed, he pulled out a small box his mother had given to him as snacks on the journey there, but he had saved them for until now. He found an apple and offered it to Rose. "So Rose, tell me something about yourself."
âLei è molto bellaâ His words were sweet, and despite the Croatian accent, she could understand the meaning nonetheless. In fact, his accent made it almost feel like the first time that she had heard those words spoken to her. She smiled and graciously replied, her words and her accent becoming exotic and fluent âLei è troppo gentile, signore. Non capita spesso che si sente un altro di lingua queste parole con tanta sinceritĂ . E 'un piacere essere qui con voi.â
Elizabeth glanced at Vixen as the ocelot jumped gracefully from her place on the seating and padded silently closer to the bed where the big husky sulked. She glanced away, and smiled to herself.
She continued speaking in their common language "I didn't realize that you spoke so many languages, Nikolai. Perhaps we'll be able to teach each other more when we are married" She spoke the word as a soft purr, despite the part of her that recoiled slightly at the idea of such a long term commitment. Nevertheless, she had made a promise.
The dog lifted his head, and gnarled lowly at the feline with a sense of ferocity. Before Niko could act Marko jumped of the bed and snapped in the catâs general direction. Before he could scold the creature, his phone rang in the most obnoxious way imaginable. Not in an annoying sound sort of way, but in the way any phone sounds when the default setting is still set.
âDa,â he said after fishing the small device from his pocket. With the new he rose from his seat in a stake of shock. âKvragu, ti glupi djeÄaÄe.â He grumbled and sighed, looking to Elizabeth afterwards and lifted the phone from his ear. âWill you excuse me Eliabetta?â he said without waiting for a response and walked into the bathroom connected.
Closing the door behind him he continued to cursed the person on the other line, in Croatian.
The vampiress regarded the Croatian coolly as he asked to be excused, and then turned and walked away before she could reply. Elizabeth rolled her eyes slightly, and got up to pour herself another drink. She moved to a window to drink it, the soft murmurings of her fiance shouting down the phone muted by the wall between them. She arched a brow, and finished her second vodka while she watched her little ocelot teasing the dog on the bed. Vixen had leaped casually out of the way of Marko's snapping teeth, and was now perched where he had just been sitting with a look that said simply 'stupid dog'. Elizabeth Aurora chuckled, and as she watched the ocelot grooming herself on the bed, an ideal formulated in her mind.
With a small smirk, she glanced at the bathroom where Nikolai was still cussing in Croatian. A glance at Vixen made the small cat stand, stretch, and then strut royally across the bed to take up a new seat on the sofa as though it was her own choice, completely ignoring the dog. Elizabeth stood, and glanced at herself in the mirror.
Her red hued eyes were made stark by the slight addition of black eyeliner, just enough to emphasize the shape and contrast the color so that it wasn't just red - they were a sparkling ruby color. Her brown hair was dark, and hung straight, framing her face perfectly, and her pale skin was effortlessly flawless. She wore a black dress, pretty simple in design. The dark cloth was expensive, obviously, from the way it rustled when she moved. It fell down to her knees, exposing her pale, elegant calves and almost dangerously high heels. It was quite low cut, almost borderline inappropriate, and she knew that if she moved just right, then her husband to be would notice.
With sure, graceful steps, Elizabeth approached the bed, and arranged herself on it to wait for her husband to be. At least then, he might regard her as a female, rather than just a person he was inclined to marry. Vixen looked at her, then away, but there was a look of purring approval in her familiar gaze.
âDa! When will you be in town?â he said and replied, âThen we will speak of this then, until tomorrow stay low, and no parties.â He hung up the phone and sighed. With everything going so fast he may have to tell Elizabeth about his vampire hunter daughter sooner then he hoped.
Splashing water on to his face he heard Marko whining at the door. The cat probably took the dogs place on the bed, and so that what he expected to see when walked out of the bathroom. Instead he saw Elizabeth stretched out in a seductive manner. His eyes widened as he looked at her ankles, she looked like a kurva. Painted up like that, before he hadnât noticed the makeup that painted her face, he only beauty. Now he sees, an object of poĹžuda, and object of lust.
âSo this is what you meant by Informality?â he asked steeping closer to her, his eyes now moving to her breasts. They were perfect, ample and prefect he couldnât help be aroused by her. He would normally repress such feelings, but for some reason he just couldnât get his mind of Elizabeth.
