David, due to his power, has many forms, and he's surprised he hasn't forgotten (what he thinks is) his "original form". This comes in the form of a ladies man, with his hair almost exclusively spiked up, showing off the blonde highlights in his what should-be-brown hair. This is paired with seemingly colour changing eyes, which seems to tint itself to different colours in order to coincide with what he's wearing, and a deep, gravelly voice, almost as rough as his stubble.

As for clothes, David likes to wear a variety of them, and they all depend on his form. As always, however, he focuses on his favourite form. For this form, he likes to wear Dickies work shirts, and will occasionally turn to Carhartt ones, too. These come in an exciting variety of colours, including (and limited to): khaki, black, grey and dark, earth greens. Over these he likes to wear military jackets that often come in lighter colours, in order to complement the shirts underneath. The rest of his attire is fairly simple from then on - slim-fit, distressed jeans, that are neither too baggy or tight-fitting, and logger-style boots, which are often either black or dark brown.

Simply put - David ain't no superhero. His nature may be the aftermath of him accidentally "consuming" his brother when he first gained his powers, and it has left him different ever since. To most people David seems like your typical chaos-maker - unpredictable, sadistic, with a love for violence - however, there is more to his "craziness" than that. He describes himself as "willingly psychotic", as he actually chooses to act the way he does as part of some kind of show, to please people. Whatever his reasons are, it unnerves people heavily if they ever encounter him.

However, there is one prominent reason he has, one that nobody has ever heard about and nobody ever will. His brother's death has had more of a toll on David than he'd like, and he uses the joy he experiences from chaos and trickery to bury those emotions down inside, rather than just drinking them away. This is a rather "mature" act on his part, but it still doesn't make him a good person. In fact, no amount of redemption could atone for his sins - he's reckless with his power, believing that he can do what he wants and get away with it because he can take up any identity he wants. He once was arrested for murder, and he simply transformed in his cell - after consuming a guard - and strolled out, disappearing into the night.

FUTURE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT HOPES:
David's mind slowly begins to collapse as he consumes more people and assume different ideas, going on a quest for redemption, and to possibly rid himself of his powers. Insert huggy stuff and character development inbetween when needed.

✧✦Assumption of Another Form/Identity✦✧
David has a basic yet complicated power - assumption of a different form or identity to his own, and that isn't actually the same as shapeshifting. This means that, if he can remember a person's appearance, he's able to replicate that appearance unto himself, although not with the same personality, memories, or even voice. Consider it like putting on a mask, if you will. He can, in fact, create a voice for himself too, if he has a vivid enough imagination or a good enough memory.

The same goes for creating an "unclaimed identity" for himself - David would require an exceptionally good identity in order to create a human-looking "mask", and even a voice for himself. He's still unsure whether or not his preferred identity is his own or one he's made in the past, but what he does know is it would probably the first thing that would come to mind if someone mentioned "ladies man". This still isn't enough proof for him to even attempt creating his own identity, however, and he decides to just stick to using claimed ones, even if it is a risk.

Building on what was said earlier, there is a way David can access a person's voice and memories too, which would give him a pretty good idea of their personality - by "consuming" them. This means actually removing said person from the world and practically absorbing them, taking on their memories, the information they know, the lot. There is a downside to this, however, as if he consumes too many people, then all the personalities and memories in his mind will melt into one, and cause him to become mentally damaged. Even worse, it could kill him. He manages to get by, however, with his sadistic ways and knack for causing chaos.

✦ His power - It allows him to blend into the crowd and escape any non-eagle-eyed enemies.
✧ His tactical thinking - Despite his methods appearing uncalculated and random, they're actually surprisingly well thought-out, allowing him to twist them to his will and trick people.
✦ His charm - Being the sadist he is, David uses his good looks and charm (in his favoured form) to exploit women and get information he might be unable to retrieve by other means.
✧ His strength - David works out a lot more than you'd expect, and he's gained a lot of muscle and strength from it.
✦ His certainty towards attacking women - Sad as it is, David has no hesitation when it comes to attacking a woman, and he's sometimes benefited from it.

✦ His unresolved grief - David has never spoken to anyone about the grief he experienced upon consuming his brother, mainly because he'd probably get locked in prison. This means if someone were to perform the highly unlikely feat of discovering this tidbit of information, it could be used to manipulate him.
✧ His power's complication - Explained above, David's power has a downside, where if he consumes too many people, all their personalities & memories will melt together and cause his mind to shut down, possibly killing him. He's already started experiencing flashbacks of things that never happened to him.
✦ His overanalysing of situations - Despite his tactical thinking, David actually has a near-opposite section of his personality, where he overanalyses a situation a bit too much in order to plan out a stratagem.
✧ Women - When it comes to women, David is a complicated man. Even though he has no problem attacking them, if a woman seduces him he'll more than likely wake up in bed next to them, with a serious hangover, and sometimes the deep sting of regret in the form of a drunk tattoo.
✦ Clowns - David has an avid fear of clowns, period. He cannot go near any type of clown, not even Ronald McDonald.

David Mondaux had a pretty average life, not really something out of the ordinary. He was born in Dallas, Texas to Pierson Mondaux & his mother, of whom his father told his sons only one thing - that she was shot down in cold blood. The brothers never found out the truth, and even in the present Pierson has kept his lips sealed on the matter. As for the rest of his childhood, as said before, it was normal. He and his brother were (fortunately) able to attend a private all-boys school together, due to the wealth their father recieved as a successful stockbroker. This allowed them to crack down and get a good education, however James ended up lagging behind, as his mind was caught up in the fantasies of a spoilt young boy from a rich father.

David ignored this, and pushed on, excelling in his subjects, even if he was annoyed at the weekly injection he had to go to the doctors to receive. His father never told him what the injections were for, but they soon became a minor nuisance to him as he graduated high school and moved onto the real world. That was then adulthood was starting to tempt him with the fruits of partying & sex, but he continued to push them away, refusing to take up a life of reckless behaviour that would lead him to finding his peace in the bottom of a beer bottle.

This all changed, however, when his brother died.

David was walking home after going to an expo run by the company that Pierson was currently employed under. The man had vivid dreams of becoming as wealthy and successful as his father, and finding a beautiful wife to settle down and live his life with. He was currently contemplating how to kickstart this dream career when his brother snuck up behind him - Pierson had dragged James along to the expo, too. The misled adult then slammed a hand down on David's shoulder, causing him to then spin around in fear, grabbing his brother by the arms.

Instead of seeing James' face, however, going red with laughter as he repeated the hysteria of the event, he saw the night sky, slightly clouded by wisps of a smoke-like substance in the air. His mind was surged with childhood memories, ones he'd seen before, but they were different - they were from James' perspective. Confused, he ran the rest of the way home, explaining his predictament to Pierson as he stood there, seeing a man who claimed he was David but looked like James. His father then proceeded to explain what had happened - about how the injections were actually an experimental serum that caused the man to develop powers; these powers being that he could consume and transform into other people.

Outraged, David packed up his most important possessions and left, living on the streets. Life was hard at first; he was kicked around and called a freak as he struggled to control his powers, sometimes becoming a flickering mixture of himself and his brother in public. The grief was extraordinary, as well - every night his sleep would be interrupted by constant nightmares, of his brother being "consumed" by him, and the injections that had caused it. However, he slowly succumbed to the sweet temptation of recklessness, harnessing his power and using it to "enjoy" his grief away.

The following years were a disastrous time for the people around David, as his damaged mind picked up the pieces and assembled a twisted assortment of selective sadism and psychotic violence, with a love for chaos and theft. He felt high as a cloud as he slowly buried his grief further and further, developing a damaged psyche and a criminal record on every identity he assumed. Now he explores the lands, having fun and getting bored, switching from mask to mask.
