Background:
Bronx Madison Tremaine had always been a handful growing up. As a child; when his parents saw him becoming an esteemed doctor, keeping the people of Black Falls healthy; or a powerful lawyer, using his wit to protect the interests of the truly innocent - the only thing he saw was the mud he coated his sister's dolls in. Funny how that worked. Mum and Pop Tremaine were right about one thing though and that was his wit. Y'see, coupled with his love for mischief, it was downright astounding what Bronx devised as pranks and more astonishing was his ability to weasel his way out of getting in trouble.. although, part of that was due to his twin sister's pleas on his behalf (Bless her heart).
He wasn't all bad though because like his sister, he also had a very active church life; from yanking on the priest's robe to confessing to all sorts of wild and outrageous 'sins' in the confession booth, the only sin he truly had was having too wide an imagination. This, again, left his sister to get him out of trouble and attempt to get him to change his ways.
In actuality, Bronx isn't the devil's advocate as everyone makes him out to be. He's just a rebel at heart and wants to see some sort of change to his sleepy little town of Black Falls. Despite all the wisecracks at his twin's expense, he values his relationship with her and, deep down, couldn't fathom losing her. It's that reason that caused him to really open his eyes to the change that was taking place in Mary.. it wasn't exactly how he'd wanted to shake up Black Falls though.. not in the least.
