Nickname: Jake, Jakie, Boo
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Role: The Secretive boyfriend
Skills: Physically, he's a beast anything or any ball you throw at him. He is, after all, the quarterback for the schools football team. That's been a dream he has always had, ever since the peewee division. Even though he is a triple threat man on the field, Jake participates in basketball, baseball, and lacrosse for the school. Mentally, however, he could use some major improvements. He barely passes most of his classes, which isn't the best thing to do, especially if you want a scholarship to a NCAA college. Other than that, he is miraculous with cars, he can fix 'em up in a jiffy.
Family:
- Steven Slade (father)
- Andrea Way (mother)
- Riley Slade (sister, biological)
- Dakota Slade (sister, biological)
- Heather Slade (stepmother)
- Mandy Slade (sister, Half)
Jake is 6'1" and weighs 175 pounds, a shoe in for the star QB. He has short brown hair, peachy skin, and blue-green marble colored eyes. His hair is a mixture of curly and wavy, but he usually keeps his hair nice and combed. In the morning, Jake puts on jeans and a white or black t-shirt with a plaid button up with a pair of converse, or khaki shorts with a regular t-shirt or a Wisconsin Badgers t-shirt and a pair of red, black, and white Reebok ZigKick Alphas. When it's colder he wears a long sleeved t-shirt or his long sleeved Wisconsin Badgers shirt, jeans, and his Reebok's. When it's game day, Jake wears a red dress shirt, khaki slacks, Sperry Topsiders, and the red and white varsity jacket that was given to him freshman year. Also, Jake has a tattoo. It's a Polynesian arm band, and he thinks it makes him look like a bad-ass.
Jake seems like an open book, being "popular" and all. But, surprise, surprise, he isn't. Of course he's athletic, every QB is. But, he's a triple-threat man, which means Jake excels in running, passing, and kicking. So, he is a little bit more that athletic, more like a skillful athlete. Also, he's a optimist, which means he always looks on the up side instead of the downside. Jake is great at giving pep talks, especially before the game because he's optimistic. Jake also is a man of humility. He's very humble, and instead of saying "I need" he says "I can manage". He tries not to be mean to people like Donnie, but considering the pressure from the linebackers to the kicker, he's kind of forced to. Jake is also very disciplinary. He had been raised in a world of discipline because of his parents and how strict they were to him, being the only son and all. But, the most surprising thing about him, is that he's very passionate. He puts effort into everything he does, and sometimes, Jake is just a little too embarrassed to show it.
Jacob Allen Slade was born on a hot August morning, the fifth to be exact in the town Black Falls. He was born the first to Steven Slade and Andrea Way. The two were a high school couple, and Andrea got pregnant her junior year with him, and Steven was held as the father. Jake was happy for three years, and then something happened. His first little sister, Riley, was born in the wintery month of December. They had never gotten along, probably because of the teasing and such that big brothers do to little sisters. When Jake turned five and Riley was two, Dakota, the last child of Steven and Andrea, was born on April 2nd. Oddly, Jake loved his little sister, more than anything, and he still does. Dakota couldn't pronounce "Jake" when she first learned to talk, so instead she came up with "Boo". Then, after two years of Dakota's existence and no syllable of matrimony, Andrea and Steven broke up. Jake might've been seven, but he understood. His sisters, on the other hand, were quite upset, even though they all would be in the same town and such. So, joint custody was established, and the three musketeers would spend one week with mom and the other week with dad. A year after separation, Steven proposed to his girlfriend, Heather Peters. They got married, and had a daughter named Mandy Rae. Jacob and his two sisters were fine with it, happy as worker bee's. When Jacob became a freshman, he met Mary. They started to date, and Jake was in love. But now, he isn't sure what to think. Strange things have been happening, ever since Mary's seventeenth. He often wonders if Junior year will be the end of the wonderful two years with Mary, and because of that, he often acts like an asshole.
