Caine is a fierce character who loves bloodshed. He has a dark view of the world and will kill anyone opposed to his views. In other words, anyone against government and rules is on his side. Everyone else, well, he doesn't care about their well-being.

This might stem from his younger years when he had to take care of his sister all alone on the streets because his parents didn't care about them. They had more important things, such as a war, to deal with. And there was no one to comfort Caine once his sister died. It seemed to him like the world was unjust and should be fixed, starting with the government and society itself.

It didn't help that the mentor who saved him from this hell-like lifestyle was later executed simply for helping him out. He couldn't bear the grief and guilt and set out on a quest for revenge, to destroy the faulty government, no matter who gets in his way. And that's basically what the story starring him is about, though masks and magic get in the way...

He's slightly sadistic and doesn't care at all about spilling a little blood. Or a lot... Once brought over here, he doesn't care much about who's friend or foe, but he can show some discretion if he feels like it. It's more like he has no feelings about any of the people around, so he simply does as he pleases, and if someone gets in the way of him, that person is an enemy.

Brief Description of Transformed State:
Caine is blind with white, clouded eyes and dark black irises that seem to gaze through you. He has long, straight, white hair and is almost always garbed in black, with a black robe ornamented with silver lettering. If you were to ask him his appearance, he would give a slightly different one, with black hair and pure white eyes, as if those were switched for some reason.

Skills/Abilities when wearing mask:
Increased physical abilities
He seems to belong where he is. People take notice of him but think he's supposed to be there, like whatever he's doing is normal. However, once he's gone, they forget that he was there except for a vague recollection.
He has extremely good conceptual skills and can remember anything he's seen while wearing the mask as if it's imprinted in his mind.
He can draw accurately faster than humanly possible.

Skills/Abilities of Transformed State:
Sight of the Blind (minor): In exchange for losing his sight, Caine's other senses are honed sharply to compensate. He is well aware of his surroundings and has great reflexes. He cannot turn off this ability, but it takes up only a little of his energy.
Lingering Magic (minor): As a leftover from the magical world he was drawn from, Caine can cast a small fireball, strike quickly with a small lightning bolt, or send ice shards toward an enemy. This takes up a moderate amount of energy even though it does little damage. He can use it around ten times from full energy, so he uses it sparingly. However, it's the main long-range attack at Caine's disposal.
Distractive Shield (minor): Caine can create a shield around himself that causes people to take little notice of him as little things constantly keep people from taking notice of him. This takes a medium amount of energy and can last for a little longer than an hour from full energy.
Acclimation (major): By drawing on his sketchpad, Caine can create an object, bringing it from his world into this one. The smaller the object, the less energy it takes up, and the most he can do is bring over one person to or from his world. Of course, that takes up most of his energy and is only used in dire circumstances. In theory, he could change the scenery of where he is, but the energy cost would be too great and he would likely be knocked unconscious for a long time or even killed.

Weapons they have when they have transformed
Pen and Paper. This is used to summon objects for weapons and help through Acclimation. He normally summons a chainsword or kusari-gama for their variable reach when he fights.

So begins...
