What Kind of Mask is it?:
False
If False, how many Grace Stone fragments does it contain?:
A single stone fragment hidden within the mask’s center jewel. At first it may look like a flaw in the gem, but at closer inspection the fragment can be seen.
How do you create/transform with the mask?
To summon her mask: “Close your eyes...”
To transform into her other self: “...and make a wish.”
Personality:
The Star holds a tranquil personality that is only rivalled by her optimism and faith in staying strong. This mask takes the owner’s, in this case Blithe’s, inner most spark and brings it back to life. Though she has a strength of her own, The Star is to be used more to strengthen others than to be strength all on its own. Her nurturing tendencies cause her to be more aware of other people and willing to do all she can to help keep them going, whether in a battle or just surviving a rough time; she will literally lend her own strength to protect them.
On the flip side, she is also very protective and a force to be reckoned with to keep someone safe; even if it is herself, she reasons she can’t help anyone if she’s unconscious or worse. Her reaction to others is often light hearted with a pure honesty behind her words, sometimes leaving Blithe cringing in the aftermath for the mask not keeping her mouth shut on things. She does, however, still hold the same interest as Blithe in learning new things and watching others; a valuable asset to later make a profile for people.
The Star’s actions can be a bit... flighty... at times. Calmness of mind doesn’t necessarily mean calmness of body; she takes full advantage of her light weight movements and often will switch her tactics of defence to offense at random intervals, hoping a moving target truly is better than a sitting duck.
Brief Description of Transformed State:
When transformed, Blithe’s hair is lengthened to knee length with the front hair being kept in a familiar short fashion similar to her normal self. The hair color lightens to a sandy blond, gradually turning to shades of white towards the ends. Her previous blue eyes darken to a navy blue shade, their gaze softer but still calm. The Star is more partial towards contrasting dark colors with white; the styling most often a short polished dress with separate unattached sleeves which fit to cover the top of her hands while leaving the fingers free. A mix of modern with a renaissance flare with short ankle cut boots to match. Wings also become visible, floating in place unattached to her body. The tips are a matching navy metal that hold the translucent white ‘feathers’ spread out.
Skills/Abilities when wearing mask:
~*~High jump: Though natural physical abilities may be a bit better, the capability of jumping to and from extreme heights is the most prominent ability increased with a lightweight landing upon objects that a body may normally cause to hard of an impact upon.
~*~ Nurturing: The wearer’s best serene qualities are brought to the surface, such as with Blithe, becoming more nurturing and helpful to others. This quality allows the mask to be useful for giving tranquility towards other more than to itself.
~*~Energy burst: Like being combined with an energizer bunny, the wearer’s energy and livelihood is regenerated to a higher level than it may have previously been beforehand; just without the downfall of any caffeine crashes.
~*~Aim: Obtaining the comfortable familiarity with the Star Mask’s weapons, the wearer’s aim is increased to match that used with the throwing stars.
Star light, Star bright (Minor) – A harmless attack used for a distraction or cheap shot against opponents. A sudden burst of pure white light is released to temporarily stun others who see it; leaving an opening while eyes must adjust after direct exposure to bright light.
First star I see tonight (Minor) – Combined with her staff, energy is stored within the weapon’s wings as both they and the jewel glow. It allows for a more dangerous swing that may release the stored energy as a slash of light or be held within the weapon for more force upon impact. The longer or more often this is used, the more quickly energy is sapped away from the wielder.
Wish I may, Wish I might (Minor) – Somewhat a healing ability, she is capable of sharing her energy with another. This ability must be used with care however as it weakens her own energy to help another. If enough is given, flesh wounds may be slowed as the body is stronger to heal itself.
Have the wish, I wish tonight (Major) – The wings floating behind her are not merely for decoration. They may be used to create an infolding shield around the mask wearer with room for one other person. Capable of withstanding most attacks, it causes great damage to the wings and can only be used once per transformation depending on the amount of damage obtained. This power has a flip side, if choosing to shield a second person the wings can act as an entrapment; keeping things from breaking in or out of their folds. Both have downfalls however. This ability leaves her back exposed, and if used as an entrapment, puts her in extremely close range to the second person.
Weapons they have when they have transformed
A 5’ staff coated in white gold and is created for defence and offense. The tip is topped with a red gem with a starburst cut, beneath this jewel are a set of white wings carved of the same materials as the rest of the weapon, the edges of the feathers are sharpened to a razor point that can be used for a dangerous swing at an opponent. The thin staff handle allows for easy hand movement and grip; as well as proving effective in blocking bladed attacks... just make sure your hands are not in the way. A set of four throwing stars are a minor weapon, used for the intention of small injuries. They are best served to pin objects or long range distractions; but with only four capable of existing at one time, if a fifth is summoned then one used must disappear to take its place. Each star is coated in a multicoloured metal and shaped differently from one another.
