Introduction
(FullArmorNavy is my CO GM, and like me, his word is law! Or should at least be treated with the utmost respect)
A kid with a secret. An assassin caught between honor and need. A bounty hunter with both a heart of gold and a cruel mind. What do they all have in common?
A full blown conspiracy. However, like all conspiracies, it is hidden behind lies, coverups, crimes, and powerful poltical figures. On the surface, the Citadel seems to be having an average year. People are going about their business, the Citadel Species believing everything is as is. Kids play in the streets, people go to their jobs, earn money. But what goes on in the background. Who can connect the dots? What is the real truth?
A few days ago, Dr. Steven Bastion and Dr. Ellen Bastion, two Alliance weapons development specialists, were murdered using a prototype Alliance weapon by one of the people they had just been working with three weeks ago. Their only son is now missing, along with any data on their Omnitools.
The weapon itself was found next to them, with both the murderer's fingerprints, and the kid's.
They had a meeting with the human ambassador for the Citadel.
According to the BlackNet is that there is a large bounty on his head, as well as the data on his Omnitool.
The family has a sort of Cross Omni-Tool cloud storage.
The kid is still missing.
The hit man was found dead in an alley, shot once in the back of the head.
His bank accounts show a large cash deposit, then it was hacked and all the funds removed.
He had a mysterious new drug in his system, street name Maelstrom.
While his Omni-Tool data was deleted, he had a Datapad that listed his his last five locations visited. The scene of the Bastion Murders, Binary Helix Offices, a skummy little bar called Chora's Den, the Turian Ambassador's office, and the place he died at.
He was already deteriorating at the Genetic Level...
An Assassin hired to eliminate the kid, the evidence, and anything else that could incriminate them.
The assassin is also deteriorating at the Genetic level. ANd the people who hired him have the cure for his disease.
He normally doesn't kill kids, but he will die otherwise. Desperate men will do desperate things, after all.
His son has the same condition he does.
A Corperation has sent a Bounty Hunter to deliver the kid and the data to them to use as blackmail against the conspiracy leaders.
The bounty hunter knows about the assassin, and has orders to torture, interrogate, and then kill the assassin for all useful intel.
The Bounty Hunter himself becomes expendable after the job, but he does not know that yet.
The Bounty Hunter doesn't know they plan to kill the kid afterwards.
There is a new mysterious drug going around the Citadel. A drug known on the street as Dreamdust. It has hallucinegenic properties, can cause behavior changes and issues, and will make biotic abilities turn unstable, as well as a larger boost then Red Sand gives to its power. It has caused quite a few deaths even, but it metabolizes too quickly to confirm that it is the cause. The effects for some reason last longer then the drug itself, an abnormality.
Traces of the drug were found on the kidnapper.
Large traces of the drug were found among shattered glass near the Bastion murders. It is believed they were in sample tubes.
The drug has traces of Eezo in it.
There are many people involved. Many people that have various and conflicting interests. And this is just the first layer of a bigger mystery. A bigger plot. A bigger conspiracy. One that spans across the whole Citadel. The real question is: Will the Truth come out, or will the secrets be swept under the rug, never to be found again?
I guess we will have to see.
The Only Three Required Roles:
Alex Bastion (AKA The Kid): Taken by GM
The Assassin: Taken
The Bounty Hunter: Taken
THere is no limit to the amount of characters. If one becomes needed though, it will be added.
Have fun! You should know what you should and shouldn't do by now. Just show respect and be reasonable.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 3 authors
He took cover behind some crates, as Shadow Broker operatives open fired onto him. Of course, he should have expected they would want the intel. After all the intel was apparently valuable enough to kill for, and given the fact no one could apparently buy it from the Shadow Broker, he apparently had the only copy. And apparently, the Shadow Broker did not feel like dealing. Then again, Alex was not sure what he should do yet.
He just knew he had to avoid as much as possible. He was not sure he could even trust C-Sec, given what was after him. That said, the gunfire was giving away his position, so he needed to scram.
He looked around. Keeper Tunnels, a window, some vents, and what appeared to be a sleeping Krogan were around. SLeeping Krogans were never mugged. Mostly because no one was that suicidal. Who would wake a sleeping Krogan?
(everyone was tagged so people know.)
A beeping sound drew him back to reality. Ray stopped, and turned his attention to his attention to the omni-tool on his wrist. His boss was calling. With a sigh, he answered the call, steeling himself against the torrent of questions that was sure to follow. "I just got here," he thought, "Does she really think I have something already?"

If you are still here, reply in the OOC.
If you are not here, post in the OOC that you have returned and promise to never leave ever again (that or I hunt you down with brutal and calculated efficiency). :)
The fun shall soon begin!
Re: Mass Effect: Conspiracy
Now, I kinda just want to know why no one has yet to make a C-Sec agent? I didn't require one, but I seriously thought we would get one.
Also, meant to post this sooner, got delayed. I will be sending reminders to the people, cause we are just waiting on one or two more.

And please, if you have an idea for a character, don't be afraid I won't like it! Suggest it first, then I will tell you I don't like it! XD (Jking I am sure it will be awesome)
