Description
Cerberus is a shadowy organization that operates well beyond any standard galactic law. In their early days of formation, Cerberus was a sub-sect of the Alliance military. Due to a difference in opinion and lack of moral standing towards their objectives, Cerberus was later actively denied by the Alliance and they became their own separate entity under the leadership of the Illusive Man after the end of the First Contact war.
Cerberus units operate in cells, usually dedicating themselves to a specific field such as science, military, and espionage. Cerberus has a standing mandate to protect and advance Humankind through whatever means necessary. As such, they have been labelled as terrorists, and are often viewed with fear and aggression.
The story follows the members of one cell, code named Omni, with standing orders to stop the Reapers from invading the galaxy through whatever means necessary, and if failing that, stop the Reapers from eradicating all life.
