Setting
The Glade, home to the Gladers, is a large green pasture made up of 6 parts surrounded by four large concrete walls.
The parts of the Glade are:
1. Gardens (North East): The Gardens are located in the North East part of the Glade. Here, crops are grown and water is pumped.
2. Homestead (North West): The Homestead is the sleeping/living places of the Gladers. Behind the homestead is The Slammer, a hole in the ground covered by homemade barriers that acts as a jail.
3. Bloodhouse (South East): The Bloodhouse is where the livestock are raised, slaughtered, and cooked.
4. Deadheads (South West): A small forest that houses and hides away a small graveyard of past Gladers.
5. Center. In the center of the Glade is the Box, the metal elevator or crate that is raised every two weeks with supplies and once a month with a newbie.
6. Outside. Outside the concrete walls is the maze of ever-changing patterns, walls, and traps. The concrete walls each have an opening. The doors open in the morning and close at night.
