The gust of wind had caught him off guard. At first he was happy to be dried off, but the weight of the situation came crashing down on him - that this wasn't some cleverly executed prank. He had seen the woman
control the wind, there was no way external forces were used to create such an effect. The boy stood still, the world silent around him as he continued to absorb the information. The words of the adults broke through the spell, there was someone out there that made them like this, and he was after them. They all had an ability of an element, and they were in danger. Sunan sat down without a word, pulling back on his hooded sweatshirt.
He ran his hands through is now fluffy, messy hair, and shut his eyes closed tight. "I'm getting such a headache." He mumbled, already feeling a light pain under his skull. No, there was no way any of that was true. It was crazy talk. Yet, no matter how much his mind tried to deny it, Sunan knew that everything they said was true. It explained a lot, there had always been a feeling inside of hi, like a connection to the Earth, that no one ever understood when he explained it. Even the monks didn't have an answer for him, and instead pushed him to let go of his wordily connections. His mind flashed back to his wavering beliefs, and to a time where he shaved his head and slept on the floor, learning about achieving nirvana. That's what this felt like, information that he wanted to devour and deny at the same time, because it
scared him.
His hands fell from his head, and his eyes shot back open. He wanted to leave already, this place was making him feel claustrophobic. A frown was set into his expression, he couldn't tell what he was feeling. Anger, towards the man who gave him these magical scars. Denial, because all of this was too much for someone so young to handle. Frustration, from being plucked form his comfortable life into discord. Fear, for what laid ahead of him. Excitement, for the knowledge and enlightenment he would receive. It was all too complicated though, he wished he could just watch from the outside.
Sunan pushed all these feelings aside, yet held onto a shred of irritation. All he could think about was getting out of this place to clear his head, even the sight of the inhabitants of the room was annoying him. A gust of wind blew his hair around, was that still a thing that was happening? He looked back over to Gina, but it didn't look like she was the culprit. No, he glanced over to the boy sitting not too far from him, clutching an instrumental case with an interesting expression. Right, they were all supposed to have some sort of elemental ability, and his must be air, judging by how the wind seemed to center around him.
"Chill out." His words were more scathing than he intended them to be, and his expression was far from being kind. Noticing this, Sunan tried to soften his expression, but was mostly unsuccessful. They didn't need any more freak-outs, like earlier with the water, he didn't want to know what an out of control air elementalist could do.
