She tries not to lecture somebody about it. One thing Yuuki is good at is musical instruments, especially the flute. She feels the sound is very peaceful. Yuuki brings her flute everywhere she goes and at the same time protects it with her life. She always plays it when she feels sad or lonely. Most of the maids and butlers left except for the cook, 5 cleaners, 3 maids, 7 security guards and a butler. Yuuki's older brother told the butler to serve Yuuki instead of him because he knows she is defenceless and needs it more. Yuuki is close to her butler and only he knows of her magic. None of Yuuki's friends know of her family and where she lives.

Other: Yuuki likes white and any other light colors like milk pink, baby blue, sky blue and milky purple.

Tony's ears perked up and he froze. After a few seconds, the sound he heard was undeniable. Faint as it was, there was no mistaking it: someone was playing the flute.

A small smile grew on his lips, and before he knew it, his own flute was in his hands. He ventured out of the common room, his sketches abandoned. He made it to the stairwell before pausing. He realized he was nervous. Nearly shaking. There would be a person playing the flute...what if they wanted to talk? Or what if it was just a loud recording, and no one was playing at all?

Tony recognized the chord progression of the song, and to calm himself, he played the tonic. It matched the pretty melody nicely, and he added a soft counter-melody, improvising along to the progression. Before long, a wonderful two-part erupted from the two different flutes, and Tony stepped down the steps, not daring to take a breath, so entranced was he in the music. He reached the bottom of the stairwell, and the notes of the first flute sounded closer. Not daring to take another step, Tony shut his eyes and continued playing, losing himself entirely.

Sunan Charoenkul

After choking down his food Sunan had made a B-line out of the cafeteria. With his backpack slung over his right shoulder he pulled along a large, long black suitcase with him. Though instead of it being filled with items such as clothes, the reason behind it's size was so he could fit in his skateboard, and actually take the possession with him to the school in the first place. It would have been a bummer if he had to walk everywhere, especially outside of the school's walls. It didn't look like there was much of a world around this place, being mostly rural, but that was fine with him. There were paved roads and that's all that mattered, he didn't mind if they took him downtown or to the middle of nowhere.

Well, maybe he would mind if he found himself in the middle of nowhere, that could be rather inconvenient. "Where are the Micnah dormitories?" The boy was muttering to himself again, eyes scanning the hallways of the school. Being enclosed was making him feel anxious and restless, and this being a new place wasn't helping in the matter. His skin felt like it was crawling, itching to get away from the school building and to a place where he could think, or not think at all. Sunan sighed, gazing bitterly at the ceiling above him. The mixture of auburn bricks and white pain wasn't a comforting one, the sounds from the nearby cafeteria was not reassuring. They were both doing a superb job at irritating him, a feeling that had settled into the back of his head from the moment he had gotten that acceptance letter. The feeling pulsated, swimming through his body; it made him want to rip out his hair and collapse in a desolate area.

"I'm acting like such a kid." There was the mumbling again, it was a habit he needed to quit, it made him look insane. Luckily he was alone, and he began walking down the hall towards the west wing, now remembering where his new bed was placed. Being yanked out of his home was annoying, having to listen to infuriating adults was annoying, being surrounding by people he didn't know was also annoying, but above all it was this feeling of fear that was the most frustrating. It was just easier to blame what he felt on other things, like this stupid school and these bullshit superpowers. Suddenly it was like he was thrown back to the year when he was only eight years old, moving across the world to live in his mother's home country, a place where he was stranger to.

Insecurity was a powerful thing. He already felt so out of place here, the Monopoly dog in a Pictionary box, a regular fish out of water, and the emotion brought a scowl on his face. His tried to relax but to no avail. Why did he care so much about what other people thought? Sunan paused just to knock his head against the wall, not putting an effort towards making sure no one was looking before he did so. It was so immature, wasn't he a year away from being an adult himself? He didn't care about grades, or money, or attending class, yet the thought of being alone always bothered him. This always manifested itself as a bad attitude. He should stop letting his downfalls turn him into a temperamental, emotional person himself, and take his own advice and criticisms for once.

The sound of a flute weaved through the air, putting a lull into his self assessment. His head rose and he looked towards the direction it was coming from. How curious. Sunan pulled his suitcase behind him and walked towards the music, being all too nosy to just let it be. A little adventure couldn't hurt, he couldn't ignore such curious things, just like he wouldn't be able to ignore that he had superpowers as soon as he got over the fact that so many others had already gotten the hang of theirs.

He stopped when he spotted the person behind song, a short blonde girl, and he found his feet nailed to the ground by the corner of the hallway. It was nothing out of the ordinary, people played musical instruments all the time, most of the mystery was solved. However, the question remaining was; why was she playing like this, in the middle of a hall? Sunan looked around the area, not finding another person in sight, telling him she wasn't demonstrating her talents for anyone in particular. So, he looked back over to her, why play? This was changed when another flute was added to the melody, and his head turned towards where it was coming from. What? Another one?

Sunan reeled back as the music was thrown into an unanticipated duet. The air boy from earlier was reveled, stepping down some nearby steps, playing his own flute. By habit he rubbed his eyes, now this was a bit more interesting, wasn't it? One doesn't just catch something like this everyday, it was like watching one of those dramas his mother liked so much. They both looked like they were so in tune with their devices of self expression, it would be a shame to interrupt such a novel moment now. Instead he shrunk back behind the corner, listening. Observing was lonely, but it wasn't that bad, he'd leave soon enough.

Yuuki continued playing and heard a sweet sound of another flute. She opened her eyes and looked towards the sound, trying to find the owner of the beautiful playing which joined hers. Yuuki noticed a tan boy watching her and smiled gently at the boy while playing, glad that somebody could hear her call for help. She then turned her attention to the other boy who was playing his flute with her.

He had his eyes closed. Yuuki closed her eyes, too. She had no idea what to do next. Stopping to introduce herself seemed rude, so she continued to play her flute. She was thinking while she was playing and somehow, her thoughts went to her 16th birthday.

She had no sweet sixteen, like how many people thought rich kids would have. She didn't like them anyway. Her house filled with teenagers partying to loud music and unwanted attention from people who made friends with her just because she was rich? No thank you. Instead, she had a small and simple but sincere celebration from her family. She was happy with that. She even got this flute as a birthday present. Her parents left for work and she went to her room and tried out her flute. However, happiness does not last long, and bad news came.

That was the exact day her parents died. She didn't know how. All she knew was that after giving her the flute as a present, singing the birthday song and eating cake, they left to continue working. Yuuki didn't mind then, at least they made some time from their busy schedule to spend some time with her. Now, she wished she should have been a bit selfish and made her parents stay, things would have turned out differently. Yuuki continued playing while thinking about that day, tears forming at the side of her eyes.

Tony continued playing, and it was clear to those watching that he was in a different mind-set. His posture was straighter, his playing was louder and confident, the nervousness that usually surrounded him was gone, and his usual stutter was not present in the slightest in his music.

But alas, the song had to come to an end. The two reached a cadence that couldn't be avoided, and finally resolved to the tonic, finishing the piece for good. Silence filled the walls, and Tony finally inhaled through his lips. As he exhaled, his shoulders slumped, and his previous awkwardness returned full blast. He opened his eyes and his eyes widened when he saw who had been the other flute player.

It was a girl. More like an angel, though, what with her long blonde hair and blue eyes. She was dressed like those delicate china dolls, and small like one too. Tony wasn't sure if it was the fact that she played the flute--well, might he add--or that she was pretty, or the realization that he was, for the most part, alone with this girl (he hadn't noticed Sunan), or simply that he was in a social situation, but for whatever reason his face began growing hot and he was blushing quite brightly within a matter of seconds. He didn't even attempt speech, knowing that nothing but sputtering uh's and er's would come out, and instead turned tail and ran back up the stairs without saying anything.

Sunan Charoenkul

He had ceased his shrinking at the sight of the girl's smile. No longer attempting to hide behind a wall of brick and mortar, Sunan allowed himself to stand in the background, a small audience to the flute duo who sailed an unfamiliar melody through what had otherwise been a chaotic school filled without logic. Previous irritation began to leave his body, as if every note that fluttered against his eardrums forced such negative feelings out of his body and into the air, where they would dissipate and vaporize. Without them his mind seemed to calm, no longer cluttered with hypocritical and contradictory thoughts and emotions; instead leaving blank pages which would be happily filled with new discoveries.

However, such open mindedness would have to wait for the following day, the correct tonic to sooth a once irritated and stressed teenager was a good night's sleep, the song had only provided a soothing antidote to calm the tides formed from umbrage. The halls were silent for a moment and he stood in the quite hall, feeling in much better mental health than he did previously. He felt like he finally was able to relax. Maybe this elemental magic nonsense wouldn't be too bad? Perhaps Mecca Mana wouldn't turn out to be a layer of his personal Hell and he could cease with this pattern of dramatic internal monologues and self-harm acts of banging ones head against solid surfaces.

Sunan began to step forward, leaving his suitcase behind, but paused in his approached when the boy fumbled with his flute. Another boy, the reason behind air-boy's sudden butterfingers, apologized in a voice that wasn't rough or rude. The newcomer reminded him of someone that was stuck behind glass, in their own world trapped with their thoughts. Then again, this observation could simply be derived from his lack of expression that didn't appear to be anything but neutral. Air-boy (Sunan made a mental note to actually learn this kids name, he had run into him too many times to keep calling him such a simplistic nickname.) clasped his flute to his chest, looking shaken and upset from his flute's near fated arrangement on the floor.

A wind blew through the corridor, blowing his hair in his face and surrounding flute-boy (This, however, wasn't any better of a nickname.) much like it had done during the auditorium. "Again with the wind?" For a moment he looked back towards the girl, looking over her for a brief moment before tearing his gaze towards the messy haired brunette. Sunan wanted to ask her why she had displayed her talents alone in the school, yet he put it on the back burner. It wasn't his problem, he wouldn't be at fault if the boy let his powers go out of control due to emotions gone awry, but he didn't want to be caught in another small disaster either.

"Hey, get a grip!" He called. His voice was stern, though it was not angry, like earlier. His pupils landed on the flute for a moment. That was what the boy was so worried about in the first place, correct? He pushed his hair away from his face, a vain attempt to keep it from obstruction his vision. The wind was quite a capricious element, wasn't it? This was starting to bring back frustrations, he wasn't exactly an expert on the subject of 'Getting people to not destroy the school with their crazy superpowers'. He looked back over to the girl with an expression that was starting to look more lost than anything, with eyebrows the resembled shapes of crescent moons that didn't say anything other that 'Please help me.'

Yuuki left her eyes closed and realised the tears at the side of her eyes had dried up. She stayed that way until she heard an unfamiliar voice, "Hey, get a grip!" Yuuki opened her eyes to start telling the boy to be polite to others but saw his reason for doing so. Yuuki saw the boy with the flute in the middle of a mini whirlwind. Instantly, from the boy's face, she could tell something was bothering him. She saw two other boys watching nearby. One of them was the boy watching her play her flute, who was the one who shouted. She turned to look at the boy who shouted and noticed he was asking her to help calm the boy down.

Yuuki decided to get the details to what had happened later and started walking towards the boy with a worried look on her face. She spoke with a calm and gentle voice, 'Calm down, it's okay,' Yuuki said, 'You can tell us what's wrong.' Yuuki slowly walked closer and closer to the boy and stopped when she entered his mini whirlwind. She put a delicate hand on his shoulder to reassure him and smiled to show that she meant no harm, hoping that he would accept her help.

The whirlwind ceased immediately at the girl's touch. Tony stood there, dumbstruck and staring stupidly at the others as silence befell. The girl...she was touching him....Tony dared to look at her. She was even prettier up close!

Nervousness crept on him, and he realized that yet another student was present. It had been the one who snapped at him in the auditorium! Tony had heard his voice not too long ago either...something about getting a grip...

Why were these people around him? What did they want? And why was this doll's hand on his shoulder?? Without another thought, Tony flinched away from her, standing precariously by himself, away from the others. He looked around nervously, not sure of what to say, and feeling a bit sheepish for his display. Overwhelmed, he dashed back up the stairs, cheeks already blushing.

It was now clear that the reason why no one would leave him alone was because he was drawing attention to himself! From now on, he'd have to return to his usual unassuming self. No more tantrums! so he instructed himself as he rushed up the steps.

Sunan Charoenkul

"There he goes.." The boy didn't seem to have much of a fight response after all, instead falling back on the instinct to flee. He had acted as if the blonde girl had skin made of hot coals, leaving the three of them standing in the corridor awkwardly. Was it because it was a girl that had touched him? Or was it the human contact in general? Or, perhaps it was simply from becoming flustered because of his actions. A single eyebrow twitched upwards for a moment before it receded, causing his brow to furrow for a short moment. As long as there were no more further accidents to disrupt the day, then he was satisfied. Having his clothes soaked by someone who desperately needed treatment for post traumatic stress disorder was enough for one day, thank you.

I extend the spirit of my gratitude. I apologize for the trouble that has been made by my deficient awareness.” Had this guy came straight from a book? Sunan stared at him, expression mostly lost, albeit a bit curious. He didn't seem at all embarrassed, something that Sunan couldn't relate too. Whenever he took his hand at poetics he anticipated the negative reactions of others, turning it into a rare occurrence. He nodded in response, it must be nice. "Right. Pay attention in the future, then." Ah! No! Now he sounded like a parent scolding an unruly child! It wasn't like he could have said it was okay though, because it obviously wasn't given the results! But couldn't he get a better handle at how he worded things?

Sunan ended up biting the inside of his cheek, frustrated at himself. Too often did his voice sound stern and blunt, unwavering, as if that was it's default setting. He turned his attention back over to the girl, figuring now is as good a time as ever to shoot her a question, and try and make up for the poor first impressions he must of left. "Oh, why were you playing out here anyways?" He asked, trying to soften his voice a bit, but to no avail. Using his arm he gestured to the area around them, noting that it wasn't a place that seemed to be visited by people often in the first place, nor was it a picture of solitude for a musician to practice in peace. "This place doesn't really seem concert, or practice material." He pointed out, soon shoving his hands into his pockets.

Yuuki saw the brown haired boy run away and noticed he was blushing. She put down her hand, disappointed as she wanted to make friends with another flautist. Should she chase after him? It would be rude to leave these two boys here though. Yuuki decided that she should leave the boy with the flute alone when she heard the one of the boys ask her, "Oh, why were you playing out here anyways? This place doesn't really seem concert, or practice material." After hearing this, Yuuki turned to look at the boy who spoke and giggled with the back of her hand covering her mouth. "I'm new in this school, I just transfered in today. I'm unfamiliar with this school and got lost trying to find the Micnah dorm room for girls. I thought that people would hear my flute and find me. I see it worked," She replied in a cheerful and friendly tone, holding out a hand, "I'm Yuuki, Yuuki Valliere. I control the element water. Nice to meet you."

Yuuki was anxious to make some friends. It sucked being the new transfer student. Her parents often changed her schools when they found out that the students were making her feel even just a little uncomfortable so she was always the new girl. It wasn't that bad though, her courage grew and she was able to meet different kinds of people.

Her parents had prevented her from entering this school, fearing that she would be considered weird by everyone else. In her previous schools, many of her friends wanted to go to her house like most friends did. However, when they realised that Yuuki was rich, they treated her specially. Yuuki didn't like that as she wanted to have normal friends so whenever she went to a new school, she hoped that they would not ask to go to her house. Yuuki's friends would keep asking and Yuuki didn't want to new rude so she agreed every time. She started to stop making friends but when she realised that Mecca Academy was a boarding school, she was very happy and wanted to make as many friends as possible.

Sunan Charoenkul

It turned out that the girl, who was no longer 'that girl' but Yuuki, had just been lost. It was nothing exciting or bizarre, yet a sound explanation no less that made enough sense to him. He took her hand and shook it, his grip being much more loose than firm. Honestly, he still hadn't gotten re-accustomed to hand shaking yet, he was all too used to the slight bowing gesture known as 'the wai'. His face lost some of it's sternness and was replaced with a more nervous expression at the contact, and he felt much better when the moment was over.

Soon enough his face had reverted back into a more laid-back language, nothing being strained or forced so it didn't display extreme emotion one way or another. On a contrast, Sunan didn't appear as stoic as the other boy, who's face never seemed to twitch or pull outside of the spectrum of aloof apathy. He waited to speak until stoic boy, now reveled to be Valdim, had introduced himself as well. What a couple of interesting characters; the gentle new girl (Although, technically they were all new.) and the fairytale boy with a face of marble. Their names even matched their uniqueness, though he wasn't one to talk about weird names.

"I'm Sunan Charoenkul." A hint of an accent rose while speaking his name, as needed to truly say it properly. His last name really was a mouthful; that was Thai surnames for you, long and troublesome. He should consider himself lucky for having such a tame example. "I have control over the Earth too, apparently." Sunan's eyebrows pulled together for a second, still skeptical about these supposed abilities. He had never forced the ground beneath him to move, or twisted vines to his will, nor could he create walls of rock like they would in that certain Nickelodeon cartoon. His memory briefly flashed back to the times where had found his way around places he had never been too, simply if he took the time to think about it and listen. He had always pinned it as having a good sense of direction, but now he wasn't so sure. Then there were those times where his mother and aunts had said he had a 'Green thumb' despite not knowing anything about gardening besides 'You plant a seed and water it'. Perhaps this elemental business was a solid explanation behind all those weird occurrences.

"It's good to meet you both." He would have to test that out later. For now he still had no idea on how to find out for himself if he truly had the power to manipulate the Earth. They didn't exactly write books on this sort of thing, though being outside would be a good place to start, if he could ever get outside that is. Sunan turned back to address Yuuki specifically. After all, he did know the location of the place she was looking for. "I was placed in the Micnah dorms too." At least he would know someone there, no matter how little. It was also nice to meet someone who shared his element, maybe he wouldn't feel completely alienated when class came. "Third floor in the west wing, I could show you where they are if you want me too." He offered, that is where he was planning on going anyways.

"Valdim. Valdim Elgrust. Earth is my liege. A pleasure to make acquaintance,” Yuuki heard the boy who introduced himself as Valdim say. He then shook her hand. Yuuki heard him hesitate a little. Is there something wrong? Does he think I'm weird or rude? She checked if she was presentable and found nothing wrong. Her hair did not look like she had just woken up, her hairband was not slanted, her dress had no wrinkles and she had no stains around her mouth. She looked up and thought nothing about it.

Yuuki turned to the boy who just spoke,"I'm Sunan Charoenkul. I have control over the Earth too, apparently. It's good to meet you both." She saw Sunan relax and she smiled, happy that he did not feel awkward around her. Both Sunan and Valdim were Earth Mages. She felt left out but managed to smile at both of them. Yuuki imagined what her teacher would be like She also wondered how many Water Mages there were in this school and if she could get along with all of them. At the same time, she hoped nobody would ask about her family.

Yuuki scanned them. Valdim was a tall boy who has brown hair. His skin was fair and he has thick eyebrows. Under his eyebrows were eyes which were green and brown. Yuuki thought they were unique and quite cool. He has a tall nose and thin apricot lips. He wore a polo t-shirt and long pants. He stood with his back straight which Yuuki thought made him look mature and strong. Sunan was slightly taller than her and tanned. Black hair sprouted from his head and his eyes were dark brown. His nose was of average size and his lips were thin.

"I was placed in the Micnah dorms too. Third floor in the west wing, I could show you where they are if you want me too." Yuuki heard Sunan's offer and smiled. It's nice to know someone from the same team as her. "That would be very helpful, thank you," Yuuki answered, remembering her manners, "but, of course if it doesn't bother you."

Sunan Charoenkul

"That would be very helpful, thank you. But, of course if it doesn't bother you." She was really polite, well put together; it gave him the feeling that she hadn't grown up in the slums, that's for sure. Where she came from didn't matter though, he doubted anything like that was of any worth now. Here they were all students that were being target by some psychopath, or perhaps, sociopath. Sunan's hand met his right arm, rubbing it momentarily out of nervousness. "Yeah, it's not a problem." Neither of the were like the people he was used to being around, which usually consisted of crude teenagers, though that didn't mean that was the only type of people he wanted to associate with.

They were just easier to read, because instead of hiding what they were thinking they would announce it loudly with blunt honesty. He should of made an effort to learn how to read body language better, he couldn't tell what these two were possibly thinking. He forced his arms to return to his sides and took a few paces back, towards where he left his suitcase. Lies and facades were as unnerving as they were common, even he wore a mask over his face in fear of other people. Previous lessons told him that all of this was silly, to let go and end such pointless suffering, but even the words of monks seemed flimsy. The world was being painted in grays and everything was to be doubted. Right and wrong became interchangeable, trapping him in a place where he couldn't tell which way was up or down.

It was much easier to just push everything aside, watch from a comfortable distance if he must, and explore the world on his own terms without getting caught up in pointless charades. Or at least, that's what he would try to do, even though it ended in the opposite. “I suppose our introductory exchange shall conclude as we part ways to our destined abodes. With the banner of Team Fayr did I hear my name summoned. I hope to cross paths during the hours of learning.” Sunan nodded, a hint of a smile crossing his lips. His hand was now wrapped around the handle of his own suitcase and pulling it back towards the pair, his movements steady, but not rushed. He wouldn't mind that, in fact, it could even be something to look forward to. While they could be putting up a facade of false civility, it could also be genuine.

"Alright, I'll see you around then, Val." It didn't strike him that shorting his name could of been a poor move until afterwards. Sunan cursed himself inwardly, it was too late to change that, he'd have to let it stand. Ceasing his dwelling, he looked over to Yuuki, wondering if she was ready. "Are you all set? It's this way." He glanced over to the hallway not far from the stairs, which would lead them to the west wing. They were still stuck in the east side of the building, they might as well take the route that would get them to the other side quickest.

"Yeah, it's not a problem." Sunan replied to her question. "Great!" Yuuki smiled, relieved that someone would show her the way to the Micnah Dorms. She was lucky her music got the attention of kind people and not others who were rude. She could not stand those people. They would always make fun of her, calling her Ms. Goody-two-shoes and shorty or something like that. When Yuuki lectured them about their manners, they would reply sarcastically, 'Yes, Mum.' Yuuki tried to control herself, knowing that it would just waste her time, but always failed. She hoped she didn't meet anyone like that in this school. Yuuki balled up her right fist thinking about it.

Yuuki decided to stop getting angry over unnecessary things, for now. She opened up her hand and took a deep breath. She kept quiet, knowing that she would not be in the same classes as him and assumed her was talking to Sunan. She stood there, the fingers of her right hand wrapped around the cold hard metal of her flute while she played with the keys of the flute with her other hand. Yuuki was suddenly aware that she looked nervous and stop fiddling with her flute. She looked up, paying attention to what Valdim and Sunan were talking about, hearing Valdim say,“I suppose our introductory exchange shall conclude as we part ways to our destined abodes. With the banner of Team Fayr did I hear my name summoned. I hope to cross paths during the hours of learning.”

"Alright, I'll see you around then, Val." Sunan replied casually. Yuuki was surprised with how fast he accepted others as his friends."Are you all set? It's this way," She heard Sunan ask her, looking her way then glancing over to a hallway nearby. "Hold on," Yuuki said, hurrying over to where she was playing her flute earlier. She put on her sling bag and put her flute back in its case. "I'm ready," Yuuki said, smiling,"Bye, Valdim. See you soon." She waved at him while walking to Sunan.

Sunan Charoenkul

Nodding his last goodbyes to Valdim, who luckily didn't seem to mind the nickname, Sunan began walking down the hall towards the west wing. By now the hallways were starting to become a bit more crowded with students, most either coming from the cafeteria or just now going there, probably with hopes that it would be less crowded after a bit of a wait. The noise was greater, filling the school with their chatter and gossip; especially now that the initial shock of their situation has died down. Many of them seemed excited, as if they somehow had landed a place at Hogwarts, despite the fire instructor telling them specifically never to mention the fictional school.

Sunan wasn't sure if he was disappointed or relieved that there wouldn't be any dragons.

Honestly, he was feeling slightly more disappointed.

The school was large, and the distance between here and the Micnah common room was a bit of a walk. Eventually he guessed that it might be rude to just stay silent the entire time. That, or awkward. Yeah, he should definitely try and avoid such maladroit situations. Though, couldn't talking make things even worse? He wasn't exactly the next Teddy Roosevelt; if he was a Sim he'd have very low charismatic skill. If only reading a book would improve his tact, but sadly they didn't live in such an easy world. Then again, it was probably for the better, he could only take the "Ba harmy puta? Glatch!" joke so many times.

"So," He began. What a great start, E for effort. Yuuki seemed pretty sure of her water elemental abilities, perhaps he should start with that? "How did you find out about your..." The corner of his mouth twitched down to the side as his eyes shifted to the bottom right, trying to find the right word. "Powers?" Sunan only ended up sounding unsure. Calling them powers sounded silly and a bit childish, like they were playing some intricate game instead of practically being forced to live here. What else was he supposed to call them? Abilities? That seemed like the same thing to him. He started walking up a stair case, heading towards the third floor.

"Some of the people here already have some control over theirs. I guess they found out before coming here." Great, he was rambling now. Perfect, just perfect. And yet..he couldn't stop, his mind worked too fast, shifting through earlier observations and questions. "I didn't find out until they sent me that letter. Although, I still can't do any..superpower things." Apparently Earth was a stubborn element, hard to budge and manipulate. This seemed fitting to him, as he was rather stubborn himself, no matter how much he hated to admit it. This whole 'elemental ability' thing was pretty interesting, yet he closed his mind opposed to opening it because he was yanked from his previously comfortable lifestyle back at home.

He looked back over to her, deciding to shut his mouth now. It dawned on him that he should be quiet so she could answer his question, and to stop making a fool out of himself lest he turn his potential decent impression into a bad one. That sounded like a good idea to him. Besides, he was curious about the answer.

Yuuki walked behind Sunan quickly. She noticed that the hallways had more people than earlier on. They all stared at her and Yuuki got conscious of how she looked. She looked down at her dress and made sure it was not dirty or torn. She looked at her reflection on the walls. Her hair did not look like she had just woken up and her hairband was not crooked. In a quiet voice, so that nobody could hear her, she spoke to herself, "It's just your imagination, have a little more confidence in yourself. Back straight, shoulders back, head slightly tilted up and do not swing your arms too much." Yuuki walked in the manner she told herself to. It made her remember those lessons her parents had her take. They told her it was classes to teach her correct body language and that they wanted her to be able to gain respect from others the moment they see her. Yuuki was not sure then, she thought it was lessons to make her a model.

Yuuki became conscious of her surroundings once again, realising that it was awfully quiet between the both of them. She had to say something to break the silence and opened her mouth to say something when Sunan spoke from infront of her,"So, how did you find out about your powers? Some of the people here already have some control over theirs. I guess they found out before coming here. I didn't find out until they sent me that letter. Although I still can't do any superpower things." Yuuki noticed he was hesitating a little. He looked at her. Yuuki thought for a while before answering,"I found out about it when I had this..." She stopped again, not sure how she should put it,"accident. Ever since I had experimented with water. I even found about a trick I bet even the teachers don't know about. Let me show you."

Yuuki held out her index finger of her left hand and made a short pulling motion with it. A droplet of water came from somewhere ahead. She held open her left hand and the droplet of water landed on her hand. Then, she exhaled slowly and it turned to ice. Yuuki put down her hand and said,"The most water I can use at a time is about a handful. If I try more, the water will break apart and drop. I'm hoping that I could learn to control more water here." She smiled and felt the cold the small piece of ice had left in her hand. She always liked the cold.

Sunan Charoenkul

"I found out about it when I had this..." She stopped speaking for a moment and he feared he had made her uncomfortable, somehow overstepping a boundary he hadn't noticed. "accident." Oh. That explained it, something bad had happened to make her realize her powers. It was unsettling and he wouldn't pry, there was no point in opening old wounds. It's always best to just move forward, the past didn't matter. Right? "Ever since I had experimented with water. I even found about a trick I bet even the teachers don't know about. Let me show you." Sunan stopped and turned around to face her, eyebrows raised upwards curiously. A trick that the teachers might not know about? How could that not catch his interest?

He watched as her index finger extended, gathering the moister from the air until it come together to create a small orb of water. His breath was caught in his throat for a moment, it was so different to see this kind of thing up close, and so delicately too. Yuuki conjuring a small amount of water was so much different from what he had witnessed earlier; the wild fire, the uncontrolled burst of water. This was gentle and controlled, clearly having been practiced many times in the past.

Just with a breath of air the water turned to ice, suddenly solid and lying in her hand. Sunan blinked a few times, leaning inwards a bit to study the ice for a moment before returning to his previous posture. "The most water I can use at a time is about a handful. If I try more, the water will break apart and drop. I'm hoping that I could learn to control more water here." He nodded, understanding that she had yet to really master the ability. Still, it was something else. She had managed to teach herself how to freeze water, that was just... "Amazing." The words sounded somewhat breathless, fascinated by what she was able to do. Maybe it was because it seemed easier to lose control and cause a bit ruckus, rather then to concentration to create something so small and fair.

Sunan felt his cheeks heat up and was thankful that his skin was dark enough to prevent an embarrassing red tone to show up on his cheeks. "That must of taken awhile to learn, color me impressed." He smiled, no point in hiding what he thought. "Though," He began walking again towards the common room, talking as he did so. "I wouldn't put too much faith in the teachers here, they all seem like jokes..." His shoulders shrugged and he paused outside a door, the entrance to the Micnah dormitories, and he felt relieved that he actually managed to find them. "They're just, well..." His face scrunched up for a moment before opening the door. "Young." That was one way to put it. They couldn't have been that much older then them, early twenties at the latest. They had to be, if they had the same elemental abilities as the rest of them.

He lead the way into the common room, where only a few people were located, sitting in chairs and exchanging words. A few of them looked over to the two of them, seeming to focus on Yuuki. That wasn't a surprise though, he'd admit, she was eye-catching, beautiful. Almost like some sort of celebrity or socialite, holding herself with a certain grace that gained respect and awe in other people. If it wasn't for the encounter with air-boy, Sunan would probably be too intimidated to approach her as well. "And here we are." He smiled and looked back over to her. "You've already gotten pretty far, I'm sure you'll be able to freeze even a lake someday." The smile turned humorous, he'd pay to see that, and his expression quirked. "Maybe you'll even be able to create ice sculptures. I think it'd suit you." Wouldn't it? They were both charming and classy, untouchable. Or at least, almost so.
