"I'm sorry," Severyn first voiced, "that wasn't considerate of me." Then she turned her head to Zahktuthal, staying close to the graceful lady of the woods. "This forest is indeed dangerous, no wonder why she's used to reacting like that. Most creatures that she can hear that distinctly are usually harmful." Her eyes smiled directly to the girl, hoping she would feel better.
Thinking about the man's previous words on women, she knew she definitively didn't want to bring out the details of such most probably sad stories out in the open right now. Trying to lighten the mood and cheer him up, she softly tapped his shoulder, adding: "Well, I've heard most women are trouble, but I've never been with one!" She laughed slightly. "I've never been in a relationship of the such - always traveling and all -, but I'm sure one of them will care for you someday," she uttered warmly. Talking about anything else but herself seemed to dispel her shyness. Looking away in the sky, she spoke in a dreamy, low voice. "You have to go your way. This is not the kind of thing you seek for... it's the kind of thing that finds you." Going out of her reverie, she quickly looked at him. "Especially when you're not looking for it."
She smiled, looking distant in her mind and heart. Severyn was a being of freedom, nevertheless, she was bound to some things that led her life, such as memories.

He walks over to Sylph after her conversation with Severyn and places his hand gently on her shoulder to gain her attention. He says to her, "Lady Sylph, I find myself in an unusual position. And I know this will sound odd, but bear with me. I would like to thank you for almost killing me. I know most people would be angry, but I am not. You see you have aloud me to remember a very precious memory. So, thank you for letting me see the woman I loved again in something other than my nightmares."
Looking over at the strange boy who has surrendered to the group he says, "She is right you know we won't hurt you. Although I can't promise we are all good people. And yes I know this sounds odd, but I don't know how you define the word good, and therefore cannot tell you we are good."

It seemed however, that the lupine wasn't wrong in assuming this woman was interested in his own calculated path. At the very least, he was impressed that she could even discern his original loft from the darkness. Ultimately, it was his own fault; having so courteously left a physical trail so as to taunt and intrigue the man he'd glimpsed early in the evening - but perhaps there was more to this Huntress' ability that he might not have gauged otherwise. Something more than what even a veteran trapper might wield. He prided himself in being a vastly apt hunter of man and beast alike, but he knew all to well that such skill and aptitude was not shared to him exclusively. There was always a bigger fish. Even if it might take an entire lifetime to find that fish, the fact remained that there always was. Even if he held no reason to believe that she was his equal or better, he always had to consider the possibility that she could at least deter him. No matter. If things played out the way he planned, they would all meet soon enough, and one way or another, there would come a common goal.

"Thank you", she uttered in a low voice as she held the flask and observed its content. Severyn looked up and smiled gratefully to the powerful mage. Hearing the rest of his words, she felt pleased that she could help, quickly glancing at the others and thinking they fought well together.
Five questions, huh... she pondered silently. Lifting her eyes up to look at him, she voiced in a serious manner that also meant to thank Orion: "I'll think about it." It was curious, did he possess so much knowledge? In exchange for his offer, she said: "You can ask me anything, but I can't promise to know the right answer." Her eyes shifted to Sylph in complicity, smiling sillily. Although she doubted that she had much to share about what she had lived and knew, Severyn had nothing to hide; And however turned into a slight joke about her not being as full of knowledge, she actually meant her words. It was her way of being both honest and transparent with them. She didn't want to cause any trouble, and she was happy to be in their company at the moment.
The wanderer found it funny that Nicholas also wanted to have the '5 questions privilege'. The hunter was certainly seeking for many answers, and he probably found the offer very valuable. Then the man directed his words to her, there was a caring sound in his speech. "Yes, I'm glad you're fine as well", she replied with a soft and pleasing voice.
Looking around, everyone seemed to be alright. It felt reassuring to know that she was the only one hurt, and it wasn't something that seemed too bad. It will heal with time, she tought as she stared at the injury, the blood slowly starting to clot. The opening in the forest was in pretty bad shape. Severyn grimaced, sorry to see that the bark from several trees was torn and young branches were lying on the ground, amongst the dead creatures. The usually peaceful woman enjoyed walking in the quiet forest, she greatly liked nature and the subtlety of its life. She thought humans ought to be respectful and do like the other creatures of the wilds when they were amongst them. But she couldn't blame herself for what happened there since it was merely self defense. The chimeras were the ones that tore the place apart, after all.
Listening to Zahktuthal's advice, Severyn quickly spotted an old trunk to sit on, still holding Orion's flask in her hand. The young woman carefully opened it and drank the thick crimson liquid to its last drop. She then put the empty flask in her bag, taking out a leather flask of water to rinse her wound softly. She tore the bottom of the off-white linen shirt that she wore under her brown leather top to obtain a strip of cloth. She rolled the bandage together and put it in her bag, then jumped back on her feet to gather up with everyone. When we'll be safe, I'll cover this, she thought as she put her right hand on the wound.

Adjusting her shoulder bag and making sure her long dagger fitted well in the side of her right boot, she kneeled down almost to the ground to prepare for a sprint. She was swift and could run pretty fast, but in the night she couldn't see as well so she hoped she'd be able to follow their pace.
