Renia Octavia Armmon's Story

Ren stepped off the plane and stretched her arms and took in a deep breath, filling her lungs with the slightly familiar air. She smiled and then headed over to the bag check out area. She grabbed her suitcases full of last minute items, like snacks and what not, and headed to the pick-up car, that she knew would be waiting, with her two suitcases and bag. Half way there she pulled out the envelope that the school sent, and pulled out the page that had her room number, room mate, and a list of must haves/don't brings in the room. She looked at the top of the page that stated 'Roommate: Aaron Lee, Grade:11th'. "Great, I'm rooming with an 11th grader, just perfect, I hope she's not a slob" she whispered to herself.

When she arrived on campus the driver grabbed her suitcases out of them trunk and then wished her good luck in her last year here, and that he looks foreword to taking me and my parents to the airport at the end of the year. She thanked him for driving her here and then paid him the money that she owed him and then waved him good bye as he drove away. After he was out of sight she grabbed her suitcases and then walked over to her new room. Sense she was a senior this year she knew where she was going. When she got to the check in desk Arissa, the student check-in sectary, smiled at her and gave her her key. "Have fun with your roommate" Arissa giggled at her. "Oh, I will" Ren said back, giggling and rolling her eyes. Arissa never got on her case about being late because she knew that Ren couldn't control when her plane landed and how much traffic that there would be from the airport to the school. "Hey, did my boxes get here alright?" Ren asked her. "Yes they did, I placed on the bed by the window like you asked as well" Arissa told her. "Thanks" Ren said, waving at her as she walked over to the her room. She took the stairs, knowing well enough that the school shut down the elevator on move in and move out days. She walked down the hall to her room, passing a girl with redish orange hair that she didn't recognize. She opened her door and saw two things; one, the boxes that she sent that were sitting on her bed and desk, and two, that her roommate got here first.

She sighed, and moved the boxes, all but the one that was labeled 'bedding' into the closet, not wanting to deal with them at the moment. She opened the box and pulled out the bedding and made her bed. After she was done making her bed, she took off her shoes and collapsed on her bed, not caring that she was wearing a dress. After a minute or so she fell sleep, due to her jet-leg.

Aaron smiled. Maybe she still had some social skills left in her. "Yeah, sure." Showing him around would be good. Atticus was her only real friend and she hadn't even showed up yet. "Transferred under certain circumstances? As in power related?" She let out a small laugh. "It happens to everyone. Most people here lost control and had to come to Mercado." Aaron noticed a girl. She went into her room. Oh great. A roommate. She looks like Nyan Cat's bastard child. She rolled her eyes and gave her attention to Fisher again. "What are you in?"

Ren woke up, hearing the voices outside of her room disappear. She looked around the room and then decided to get some organizing done before headed to dinner.

She started with her closet. The closets are split into sections, one for each roommate, and then into two sections, a hanging area and a drawer with a mantle and storage up above. First she hung her two, blue and purple, shoe hangers. Then she placed her shoes in the hangers, two pairs per section, and then hung her dresses and other items that needed to be hung. She then placed her purple laundry bag and mini fridge at the bottom, underneath her hanging clothes.

Next she moved on to the dresser portion of the closest. She placed her clothes in the dresser and then her snacks in the storage area above. Then she placed her make-up (Black) containers. She also placed a couple of make-up bags, and a black light up mirror on the counter next to them. She then moved to under her bed where she placed a large, black bathroom tote and large purple, blue, and black storage containers that hold her towels, winter blankets, and other items.

Next she moved on to her white desk where she placed facing the window at the end of her bed. First she placed her storage items, and then filled them. Next she placed a calender above the desk. Then her blue desk lamp, and then her laptop. The last thing she had left to do was place the cork board above her bed. She had other little things to place as well, like her alarm clock and some pictures, but they didn't take her all that long and she finished at about 6 o'Clock.

"Dinner time" She said to herself. She headed down to the first for and saw that the cafeteria was almost empty. "Damn" was all she could say. The cafeteria didn't serve dinner until there was a large amount of people there. However, they did serve small snacks, and light meals, through out the day. After a 2 minute internal debate about wither or not to have a small snack, she choose the path of "yes," and got herself some fruit snacks, Cheese Itz, and a XXX Vitamin Water.

After waiting 20 more minutes Renia decided that people just weren't going to come to dinner tonight, and that they probably went to the diner. So she got up, walked over to the snack display, bought a couple more fruit snacks, a bag of Sea Salt and Vinegar chips, and a Chicken cup of noddle. She paid the lady at the counter then headed back to her room. When she got there she noticed that Aaron had not gotten back yet.

"Oh well, I guess will bond tomorrow" Ren said as she threw her fruit snacks and chips on the bed and headed over to he sink. She put water in the cup, and then into the microwave, that came with every room, and then walked over to her desk. She looked at her schedule and saw what classes she had.

"AP 20th Cent. Lit., AP German, AP Chem., Choir, Lunch, AP World Hist., Free hour, AP French, and a free Hour. Sweet, I can just come back here and do homework quietly before Aaron gets here" Ren stated to herself. After looking at what books she needed she heard the beeping of the microwave, and got her cup of noodles. She took her laptop off her desk and then sat on her bed. She decided to get caught up in some of her show that she was to busy with packing to watch. She watched the Daily Show, SNL, and Tosh.0. When she was done watching her shows she threw her food wrappers away and then sat down to look at what was going on facebook. She saw that her friends had started school today, and that most of them were sleeping in while she was on the plane. They wished her luck with her school year, and said that they couldn't wait to see her for Winter and Spring Breaks. After responding to them, she put her laptop away, and then got ready for bed. After she was done putting on her pjs, she hopped in bed and fell right asleep, not letting the fact that her roommate wasn't back yet bother her to much.

Buzz.Buzz.Buzz.Click. Renia turned off her 5 A.M. alarm, and sat up in bed. She looked around the lightly lite room and saw that her roommate made it back safely.'Thank goodness. Now lets hope I don't wake her.' she thought to herself. Ren slowly got out of bed and headed to her closet. She quickly put on her workout clothes and shoes, and then put a hair band in her hair, grabbing her iPod and key on the way out the door. She started playing her work out jam, and she briskly walked down stairs, taking the stairs. She jogged around the courtyard a couple of times, letting the crisp clean air fill her lungs, and then to the gym, where she worked out til 6. After her work out she walked over to the juice bar and got herself a strawberry-kiwi smoothie. She walked back up the stairs and quietly opened the door to her room. She grabbed her outfit for the day, and shower tote and then headed down the hall to the main shower area. She liked taking showers early because it meant that no one was in there. She took a nice long 20 minute shower, got dressed, and wrapped a towel around her head. When she got back to her room she noticed that Aaron was awake.

"Mornin'" Renia said to her in her Australian accent. She set her tote down next to her sink and then patted her hair to get the extra water out of it. After which she straitened and spiked, and did her make-up. She put on her shoes, and then headed over to her desk where she put her laptop, her iPod, a water bottle, a notebook, and a couple of writing utensils in a bag, along with her wallet. She knew that she didn't have to pack much today because the teachers didn't do anything on the first real day of school. She put her key and phone in her pocket and as she was heading out the door she told Aaron to have a good day, and that they would have to get together sometime tonight to get to know each other a little.

"Hi oh Hi oh, It's off to Breakfast I go" She said to herself as she started walking to cafeteria, being that it was only 7, and classes didn't start til 8.
