"Hell no." He replied as he spin kicked around, causing the human to flip over the bar counter. Another thug jumped out from behind and grabbed 'Shawl. He lifted his feet and kicked the third thug coming his way. The first human started to recover as 'Shawl broke free of the second. He grabbed his staff from the table where he was eating and recited something in sylvian. The bluish white crystal at the top of his staff exploded with light, dazing everyone around him. He ran out of the tavern and ran into...
(that is my guy)

"Please watch where you're going." she said coldly, swinging open the doors of the tavern and letting the warm air wash over her. It had been a very long time since she'd slept in a warm environment. She finally looted enough money to afford a luxury such as this. The moment of bliss lasted for a short second before a group of rowdy looking men ran outside, furious and yelling about something. Zenith immediately placed her hands on the hilts of her weapons by her side in fear one of them may have recognized her; but they took no notice of her presence and instead surrounded the elf guy.

"Now," the elf started, "Don't mind me, I've just got to pay for the damage your Buddie's just caused."
'Shawl stepped back into the tavern but was stopped by the bartender and a bouncer. The bouncer shoved the elf and demanded he pay for the damage. 'Shawl quickly handed over three small pouches of gold coins.
He easily spotted the girl he had knocked down and made his way over.
"Sorry ma'am," He stated sincerely, "I didn't mean to get your fancy cloths dirty."
He put down a fancy gold ring (lol, you know what i'm talking about) that had elven script written on the inside, along with another pouch of gold. He then walked away to loot the bodies. They weren't dead, just out cold. 'Shawl figured he could find a nice spot to lay out his blanket in the forest area. He liked the cold, its what he was used to.

Zenith returned to the elf's side and offered him 2 pouches of coins, secretly slipping the third one in her red cloak. "The third one was in his front pocket," she lied, pretending to be distracted by a loose button on her vest. "Anyway.. I'm Zenith.. and you're an elf, correct? Does that explain why you have so much money?" Her tone was casual and teasing, but she figured she'd stick around; He could prove useful in the future.

'Shawl was known as many named, Shawl the cheat, Shawl the thief, Shawl the rouge, but never Shawl the rich.
"You can call me Jack." He said, she didn't need to know his first or last names. "Jack, just Jack. I really don't like the stereotyped 'rich elf' idea. The majority of us are in poverty, more so then humans. I my self am an example. I mean sure, I might have a nice white silk shirt, pants, shoes, a staff, a bow, and two swords but, that's pretty much all I have."
'Shawl, or Jack, thought back to all that happened that had him in this situation.
"And you are my lady?"
He wondered how long she would tag along.

"Me? I'm Zenith..." she said slowly, carefully choosing her words. "A thief.. and a half-elf." Zenith glanced at him, pondering his reaction. She expected somewhat of a hostile reproach, as all the other elves of her village had once treated her.

"Did... did you say... did you say you were a half elf?"
Wow... he hadn't encountered one in a long time.
"Like... like a human elf mix?"
He himself was (Is this like strict Tokien or can I vary? If u like dungeons and dragons them listen to this) an elf halfing cross. It was an odd relationship between his parents... it really was. But she didn't have to know.
"Um... by the way, those pouches don't have gold in them, but I think that ring is real."
(BTW, I made a Dungeons and Dragons role play if ur interested, if not i aslo made a super hero rp.)

Zenith halted to a stop next to him and nodded slowly, observing his reaction. "Yes... I'm a half-elf. My mother was an elf and my father was a human," she said slowly, raising her eyebrow, "Why.. is there something wrong?" She was testing him.
"Um... by the way, those pouches don't have gold in them, but I think that ring is real."
Zenith's face remained blank for a moment before letting a rare grin spread across her delicate features. She slapped him against the back heartily and laughed lightly. "A cheat? Is this how you've been getting all that good stuff?" she asked casually, although Zenith was also very interested in where.. or how he got his hands on fake currency.

"I um... My father was a halfling. And my mom, of course, was an elf. So your a thief? Is that so? I um..."
He took a second to think...
"Iv'e been putting together a two man operation. By the (is this like a fishing village or something?) docks, theres that warehouse. I'm only in town to get into there. They've recently received a shipment fishing equipment... and some swords. Well... not just swords and fishing stuff, they've gotten some dread wood bows. I've been dying to try one out. All of my informants have said that security is very lax, but I need another person for this. I've got detailed floor plans, to get into the main storage you have to flip a switch (as in a lever) from the front and back. I want to do this as fast as possible, I wouldn't want to break in from both the front and back. Are you in?"

Zenith smiled eagerly; It's been a while since she's had any real action. "Sure, I'm in," she said. She glanced at the sky warily and looked at Jack. Sunset. "We should go now, workers should be off time any minute now.."
(( Sorry.. the post isn't very detailed this time. ^ ^ I'm kinda in hurry.. : ) ))

Jack was glad to found a partner so fast.
It was dark out. Jack has scaled the side of the warehouse and opening a loose wooden board on the roof when he heard voices below him. He laid prone on the roof until the voices sounded more distant. Jack was able to fall through the hole made by taking apart several boards. He landed in a large round room, but someone was in there. A human with a club.
"Oi, what the hell do you think yall doin' here?"
"Your mom." Jack said as he jumped forward, his fist colliding with the man's face, knocking him out. "To easy."
Jack then noticed a small lever built into the wall next to a large door. The way in, he guessed. Hopefully Zenith would flip the other switch so he could get in. He flipped his switch to the 'down' position and found a box big enough for him to hide in while he waited.

Zenith followed Jack silently and then made a sharp turn to the backside of the warehouse. She crept along stealthily, keeping her back close to the dirty wall as not to be seen from the light of the moon.
She made another turn and rubbed her head in relief at not getting caught. Her breath gave way and she froze in surprise as another guard had apparently not gone home.
Zenith backed away slowly, but not before the guard had caught site of her shaggy, mane of a hair and proceeded to yell for back up. The thief unsheathed her twin blades that gleamed in the light and lunged forward, grabbing the man by the throat and pushing him against the wall. He was a great deal larger than her, but she had the advantage. With one graceful move, she slit his throat and he collapsed against the garbage dump.
In the distance, she could hear the voices of other men who had heard the commotion. Zenith's eyes widened at her mistake and made a hurried dash for the lever at the side of the wall. She pushed the switch downwards and hopefully, just hopefully Jack wasn't surrounded by guards already.
Her task being done, Zenith proceeded to sprint back to the front of the warehouse and assist Jack if he was in a fight.

Zenith slammed the door open and ran inside. "Zenith?" she heard. "Jack!" she whispered loudly and urgently. "Listen, we should get out of here.. Screw the cargo!" She grabbed his hand and made her way to the door.
Before she could pull the both them out and away, about a dozen guards came rushing in, face to face with her.
Zenith let go of his hand and cautiously placed her hands on her weapons beside her hips. "Prepare to fight," she muttered to Jack.

"Go Zennith, iv'e got this."
She raised her eyebrows and backed against one of the overturned crates as the lightning flashed in front of her, causing mass explosions. Dust and debris filled the air and she coughed, waving her hand in front of her face in a bad attempt of clearing the pollution.
She was against leaving Jack in a situation like this, but she shamefully ducked out the door anyway.
Zenith walked down the empty passageway that lead to the main storage and made sure to keep hidden in the shadows.
The sounds of battle faded away as she approached a metal door that was probably bolted shut by many layers of locks. The thief smirked and extended her hand so her palm faced the door. "Too easy," she muttered to herself as a ball of fire was created. The heat melted the door and left nothing but a pile of goop. She stepped inside and surveyed her surroundings. Zenith was amazed at what she saw and despite herself, stepped back a little.

Jack screamed something feral as he bounded off the mountain of boxes, landing on someone at ground level. He chanted something more in Elvin tongue, his staff exploding with brilliant light. Everyone in the room but him was stunned and dropped to the floor. Jack sprinted down the hall to find Zennith.
"Now what?"

Zenith's hand glowed orange in the dim light. She turned to look at Jack and then turning away, she kneeled beside a heavy looking crate.
She pried it open with her hands and tossed the lid behind her, not caring where it landed. Her features brightened in delight as she examined the weapons carefully, gently cradling a crossbow in her arms. "Damn, Jack.. We hit jackpot this time! Loot as much as you can carry!"

Jack used his magic to carry the box out the door as he ran. Guards were chasing after him, and he knew he would have to say in the woods tonight, if not travel and stop tommarrow. (can the orcs/orks show up now?) there were screams from somewhere near by.
